I think the millennials forget how old Gen Z actually is. Like girl, I’m 20. I’m an 03 baby and I’m 20. Just because I wasn’t old enough in the 2000s to own my own flip phone doesn’t mean I didn’t use my parents ones, my older cousins ones etc. I may not have had my own MySpace but I watched older family members use it. All these ‘what gen z thinks the 2000s was vs what it actually was’ posts don’t make any sense to me. Like??? We know what it was like because we were kids then, and kids are like sponges, they watch and REMEMBER EVERYTHING.

I know exactly what you guys were doing because I watched you do it. That’s where the nostalgia comes from, what I watched the teens do and the child oriented things I did. We’re not too young to remember the 2000s we just had a slightly different 2000s than you guys did.

Y'all are gonna think I'm so weird.

But I'm running with this idea I've had for a while for my mcl ocs. Well, other than the actual other mcl ocs I've made.

It's part lazy, part bizarre.

Clones.

Yep, clones.

My MCL NG oc is a clone of the original Puku, but different. I haven't figured out the details yet, but it's like what I did with Pukun, Puku's male clone. It has the idea of a type of clone theory idea of nature vs nurture. The DNA and nature of the puku clones is the same, but the nurture is always a bit different depending on circumstances. Puku "prime" is the parent of all the clones made, but Puku "prime" had a different parentage and upbringing than the clones. Not to mention, the events of each mcl game has different outcomes for clone Puku.

This Puku has -teal- hair and is a zoomer, I guess. Raised by Puku "prime" and has the existential grappling of dealing with being a clone in general.

There's... still a lot of ironing out to do. Like... Where does Kentin fit into all this? How should I incorporate the family given to Puku 2.0 in New Generation?

ya know what i find funny about the whole tory party gate thing ? Gen z & millennials get accused of recording everything / putting everything online but i stg all my relatives aged like 40-60 (ish) have their cameras out at far more occasions then people my age, like yeah young people have their phones out but usually just showing each other dumb memes or whatever but the older generation want pictures of everything to go on facebook man…anyway yeah idk just thoughts

My generation's version of finding a photo album full of polaroids in a closet will be finding an iphone 4s in a drawer (and then spending an hour looking through every other drawer in the house for the old pre-lightning charger, and hoping the damn thing can even turn on)

Today I randomly had a flashback to 2013 ish, I was 7 or 8 years old and in elementary school. At lunch time I would be drinking Monsters University Juicy Juice boxes, and I vividly remember drinking the grape flavored one day after day. Aka, the one with Art on it. Art’s adorable, lovable, fluffy face. As of now, Art is one of my main comfort characters, and I can’t believe I didn’t remember these moments from the past until now. And all I can is that I feel so blessed and emotional that I was able to have the privilege to drink out of a juice box that connected to this amazing monster.
