Did you know this one thing can predict your wealth and transform your body?
Anyone who has dreamt of a better life understands the frustration and disappointment when things don’t go according to plan. Some people see this problem as a failure to follow through with the demands of their routine, but that’s not the case. What if the reason that these people seem to fail has nothing to do with how forcefully they push to achieve? What if the actual solution is as simple as a 20-word script?
That’s what The Genie Script is all about. According to their website, the key to getting enough energy, having the right intelligence, and establishing mental clarity is simple and singular. The late Bob Proctor originally described the one thing holding consumers back and it is inside every person. This hidden gem is the key to wealth and can even help consumers establish themselves as overnight millionaire in some cases. read more.. https://geniescript.org/

Applying for Scholarships
Teen sims and older have a new “Apply for Scholarships” interaction available at the school rabbithole or on the computer under “Sims University Online”. Though they’re less likely to win a scholarship if they apply online rather than in person.
If your sim wins a scholarship, they will not be able to reapply for that scholarship again. If they do not win, they will be given a Disappointed moodlet and have to wait a day before applying again.

Types of Scholarships
There are four (4) types of scholarships your sims can apply for: General, Legacy, Skill Based, and Occult. In total, there are 18 scholarships, each with their own custom moodlet.
Sims have a 45% chance of winning a scholarship in the General, Legacy, and Occult categories when applying in-person and a 40% chance when applying online.
Sims have a 6% chance of winning a Skill Based scholarship at Level 1 of the required skill. This chance multiplies with each skill level, with a maximum of a 60% chance at Level 10.
Certain traits can either increase or decrease your chance of winning a scholarship by 5% (note: this value stacks the more traits your sim has):
Increased Chance Traits - Lucky and Ambitious
Decreased Chance Traits - Unlucky and Loser
Some of the scholarship names are originally from The Sims 2 and the others I made up myself. They are listed below by category:
General
Young Entrepreneurs Award (§750) - Requires Level 3 part-time job, Teen only
Orphaned Sims Assistance Fund (§750) - Requires deceased or non-existing parents, Teen only
Golden Year Scholars Grant (§1000) - Elders only

Bots Opportunity To Specialize (B.O.T.S.) (§1500) - For Simbosts and Plumbots
Forbidden Fruit Fellowship (§1500) - For PlantSims
Real World Acclimation Fund (§1500) - For Real Imaginary Friends
Aquatic Allies Award (§1500) - For Mermaids

Maintaining Scholarships
After winning a scholarship, your sim will get the new custom Won Scholarship moodlet. They have a week to either enroll in online university with my Attend University Online mod, or in-person university to remain eligible for their scholarship.
If they fail to enroll in time, their scholarship will be rescinded and they will have to pay back the money they were awarded. If they can’t afford to pay back the scholarship amount in full, it will be added to their next household bill. (No free money here!)
Once a sim has a scholarship rescinded, they will get the new custom Lost Scholarship moodlet and be barred from applying for scholarships for 3 days.
New Moodlets
Won Scholarship: Given when a sim wins a scholarship, lasts 1 day, +20 mood, each scholarship has its own custom moodlet icon
Lost Scholarship: Given when a sim has a scholarship rescinded, lasts 3 days, -20 mood, makes sims stressed
Online Aptitude Test
Teen sims and older can now take the university aptitude test on the computer under “Sims University Online”. It works the same as the default interaction.
Tuning
All of the tunable values can be found on the mod download page under the header “Tuning”.

Alright, virtual convention is done! Time to unveil the answers I got!
Mitchell did not know or remember recording male vocals for 'If Only' so he gave me a generic 'yes' when I asked if those vocals were supposed to be Ben (to be fair, it's been almost 10 years since the first Descendants came out...and now I feel old). Brenna though thought it could have been maybe foreshadowing Hades slightly, as a father daughter relationship. So until I get the chance to ask Kenny, we're just going to say that yes, that is Ben singing in the background.
Mitchell does not think Jay would be part genie because he thinks that if Jafar was a genie when all the villains got put on the Isle, then Jafar would have been the most powerful and the most evil so he thinks that Jafar being put on the Isle is from before he makes the wish to become a genie. However, I prefer Brenna's answer to that question so you might find that Jay gets some dormant genie powers in my fics lol :D
The mini bow between Ben and Carlos in 'You and Me' was not scripted by Kenny. Cameron apparently wanted to sneak a dab into the dance and Mitchell was all for it, and Kenny didn't realize that's what they were doing but thought that it was a dance move they thought up on the spot. Brenna apparently was 100% against them doing that.
Brenna's birthday is one day after mine--I already knew that before this virtual convention, I just thought it was cool to share lol :D
Bart Johnson did not know why they have the 'Troy....listen...' line start 'Gotta Go My Own Way' in the HSM2 soundtrack when she does not say that in the movie.
Wow...honestly I'm kinda impressed I remembered all that considering I'm pretty sure I've only gotten 4 hours of sleep and have been relying on caffeine and sushi to make sure I didn't miss anything from the convention.

Clavicus Vile Summoning Day
(Banners by saradika-graphics.)
Clavicus Vile's summoning day is Morning Star 01st, or January 01st. This day is also shared with the New Life Festival within canon lore.
This post is a UPG post about what I perform for said summoning day. You can do whatever it is you like on this day.
(As a preface, this post is made by a Daedra Worshiper who doesn't believe/experience that the Princes are pure evil. That shines through in this.)

(art credit: sugaredtea / Amelia Davis, link to artstation)
CLAVICUS VILE . . ,
Clavicus Vile, or Nycot, Child-god of the Morningstar, is a Prince of Deals, Trickery, Wishes, Bargains, and a lot else. He is often called "the most carefully neutral Prince". They are most commonly associated with a crossroads demon, a genie/djinn and a trickster spirit. She is often seen accompanied by Barbas, who may or may not be a familiar, may or may not be a core part of Clavicus Vile's existence and a part of Their power.
They are seen as a more "sophisticated" Daedra comparatively to other Princes, and sees Himself as jovial, silly, and playful. She finds eternity to be rather boring, so entertainment is found in watching mortals and meddling in their affairs and lives.
Clavicus Vile is often summoned upon to make deals within contracts and rituals, though this post is written more from a devotional standpoint than a contract making one.
Anything below this point is primarily UPG.
ASSOCIATIONS . . ,
Clavicus Vile is associated with (usually white) dogs (especially borzois in my personal experience), aloe vera, pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns, surrealistic paintings, and masks.
OFFERINGS . . ,
↘ natural ;
gems, fake ones count
pansy
hydrangea
aloe vera
white dog fur
↘ foodstuff ;
candy
cashews
mixed nuts
salt
cookies with lots of filling things
↘ items ;
masks
borzoi or white dog statuettes
jack-o-lanterns, even if they’re fake decor ones
hand fans
surrealist art
↘ music ;
chaotic music. hyperpop, grunge, hardbass, phonk, etc
↘ etc ;
magenta / purple candles
DEVOTIONALS . . ,
wear masks
use hand fans
be unapologetically yourself
dress in chaotic and free ways
make good exchanges things like vent to others, listen to others vent; do things you like plus things your friend likes; etc.
consider new ways to do things
play games in Their name
play a game with Them
share your achievements
tend well to your relationships
do shadow work
perform automatic writing with your subconscious
generally face yourself
accept yourself in your entirety
practice self love
focus on recovery from trauma and other things
sun-bathe
use aloe vera in spells
dance/sing to music
go on an adventure
cheer yourself up when you’re sad
FESTIVITIES . . ,
Clavicus Vile's summoning day can be celebrated in many ways, such as:
pursuing things that make you happy
writing (realistic) resolutions for the new year
making promises and deals with those around you and yourself
dissolving bonds and promises that don't serve you anymore
freeing yourself from that which harms you
starting a new journey
playing games of all sorts
dance and sing
When it comes to the New Life Festival, which one can include in their festivities for Clavicus Vile, is an event that celebrates the birth of a new year and the death of an old year. Originally, it was the celebration of Magnus, the sun god, and over time it became just a celebration of the gift of New Life, heralded by the sun. It also marks the start of the Winter Solstice, when Magnus the Sun begins to return, and the days start to grow longer. Everyone in Tamriel celebrates in their own culturally unique way - But some include races, feasts, games, and dancing.
SUMMONING RITUAL . . ,
This is a personal summoning ritual. Please feel free to make your own.
↘ ingredients and other tools &&°
Clavicus Vile's name written in Daedric script on paper (to burn or throw away)
a magenta or purple candle, or multiple if you'd like
something pumpkin, be it an actual pumpkin, something pumpkin flavored, or a pumpkin figurine
aloe vera, even if it's just some gel
anything else you personally associate with Clavicus
an offering of some form
a red wine or a pomegranate juice (to drink)
↘ steps &&°
Make sure safety precautions are in set. This includes physical safety if you're going to be burning the paper.
Set your scene, with the pumpkin, aloe vera, and any personal choice items.
Write down Clavicus Vile's name.
Light your candle(s).
Call upon Clavicus Vile, while burning the paper or folding it up and throwing it away in the trash. Here's an optional one: Clavicus Vile, Nycot, God-child of the Morningstar. I call upon you here and now, on this summoning day of yours. Please, I humbly beg, come to me here and now.
Offer up your offering, including the wine or pomegranate juice.
Do your business, whatever it is you wanted to do here, even if it's just talking. If you want to make a deal, now is the time.
To finish, pour a drink of the wine/pomegranate juice for Them, and one for yourself. Drink your cup, and leave Vile's for an hour.
Blow out or snuff your flame.
After an hour has passed, pour Vile's cup down the drain.
YOU WANT TO MAKE A DEAL . . ,
This section is here for those who are interested in making a deal with Clavicus Vile on this day. You don't need to wait until the First of Morning Star to make a deal, but today is a great day to do so.
I want to first ask you to consider your viewpoint on Clavicus Vile and Their morals. Do you consider Vile as a more evil, malefic force? Then probably don't make a deal. But if you're like me who considers the Princes to be a lot less bad than canon, and trusts them, then you can make a deal safely.
This assumes you're doing this in the middle of the summoning ritual.
↘ steps &&°
Explain what you're wanting. The more details and the more specifics the better, just because it means it's more likely to go smoothly.
Clavicus Vile will propose what you need to fulfill for your end of the deal. Feel free to debate and negotiate, but remember, you're going to have to fulfill your end of the bargain and you might not get exactly 100% what you want. Later on, you can "edit" your bargain halfway through or "cancel" the exchange by summoning and talking to Clavicus Vile again, but expect editing to mean you don't get the same thing you wanted in the first place all the time. Sometimes it remains the same, but not always.
Draw up a physical contract for yourself. I'd suggest a physical copy but a digital copy can work, as long as you can sign it.
Sign your name in Daedric Script.
Congrats! Your deal is now in action.
With all of that said, you might be asking "If you can't just get exactly what you want, why make a deal? Why not just do a spell instead?" Well, then... do a spell instead, frankly. This is for those who feel comfortable making a deal with Clavicus Vile and prefer to rely on the gods for help.
I've never been personally shafted by Vile in all the deals I've made. I've had to edit some partway through as I realized I couldn't uphold my end, and Vile was understanding and didn't punish me or anything of that sort for it.
Regardless of whether you're engaging in a deal or just summoning Clavicus Vile, I hope you all have a wonderful January/Morning Star 01st, and that this year is kind to you. Best of luck.

The above article came out in part because Frakes stars in a Hallmark movie called a Biltmore Christmas with Robert Picardo, description below from People Magazine:
Sunday, November 26: A Biltmore Christmas, starring Bethany Joy Lenz, Kristoffer Polaha, Jonathan Frakes, and Robert Picardo — Lucy Hardgrove (Lenz) is a screenwriter who lands the job of a lifetime when she’s hired to pen the script for a remake of the beloved, holiday movie classic, His Merry Wife!, which was filmed in 1947 at beautiful, historic Biltmore House. When the head of the studio isn’t satisfied with the ending Lucy wrote because it deviates from the original’s feel-good conclusion, he sends Lucy to Biltmore Estate for research and inspiration. While there, she unwittingly discovers the ability to travel to the 1947 set of His Merry Wife! through the help of an hourglass. While on set, she and Jack Huston (Polaha), one of the film’s stars, spend time together and become close. But her sudden appearance has set off a chain of events that put the production in jeopardy. Before she can return to the present, Lucy must make things right or threaten to alter the future forever.

Just finished to watch Wish. Have thoughts. A lot of.
Actually, I have a lot of not-so-pleasant thoughts about the modern scriptwriting in general, and for a long while already, but Wish made me sigh so incredibly deeply that I woke up my cat. The concept of Wish is wonderful, brilliant even. But in my opinion, unfortunately, it wasn't developed right. At all.
So, I decided to share my usual mental gymnastics in fixing the script. It's only my personal try, nothing else.
There's a very wordy text under the cut.
I warned you. Very. Wordy.
For the start, in the original script there was no motivation for Magnifico to become a villain. His ability to make EVERY wish come true ANYTIME is a HUGE hole in the plot. Instead, the gaining of this ability must have been Magnifico's main motivation. It immediately sets the conflict with the Star, who has such an ability, but uses it improperly (in Magnifico's opinion).
At the same time, make Magnifico the man who will be extremely dutiful and tired ALREADY in the beginning of the story. A wizard who lost everything once and wants to build a safe haven full of happiness for everyone so desperately that it twisted his nature.
Don't make the main problem in him taking away others' wishes. Set the main problem in Magnifico's twisted rationality and the fact that the weight of responsibility broke him. Remember this passage: this will be important later. For that let me slightly change the concept: instead of Magnifico's rule of taking away the wishes to set the rule of forbidding to tell it aloud to anyone except the King of Rosas himself. It also gives us a wonderful parallel with the “wish upon a star” concept, a wish that you should make silently and not tell anyone after that or it won't come true. Like, if you live in that country and tell the wish to Magnifico, it casts a spell on you that forbids you to talk about the wish. It's explained by the fact that it forms a bond between the wish maker and the wizard, and that bond is the seal for magic to work, since the creative source of the wish itself gives the wizard the power to fulfil it. But Magnifico can fulfil only one wish at a time and it takes a lot of his own magical powers/lifetime/[insert any other difficult ritual], so people must wait in line. Simple. Sets the logical boundaries to his powers and explains why there’s a rule of “one wish per person”. Optionally, maybe there can also be Genie-like rules of “no wishes to make someone to fall in love or to be killed/revived” etc. People can come to the King and change their wish if they want, they can still make attempts to make other wishes come true if they want, but they're just happy with the fact that if they wait in line long enough someday their dream will be fulfilled with a 100% chance without ANY effort. So why bother?
Make Asha Magnifico's dutiful apprentice for a while, a year or two, already at the beginning of the movie. Give her some magical powers and make her struggle with the fact that Magnifico can't fulfil any wish at any time, too, make her desperately wanting to fulfil every wish without waiting for that for a long period of time. She helps people, she's in contact with them, she gives them minor magical things daily, like to help someone with gardening or wiping away dust with magical broom. But she wants more. She wants to be as powerful as Magnifico and to serve people. And her curiosity when she searches for a way to gain powers to fulfil any wish, her desperate desire to make all people in the Kingdom of Rosas happy summons the Star, who can't go back to the sky until he fulfils Asha's wish.
Show us the Star as a carefree eternal being; a trickster because of their lighthearted attitude. I saw the concept arts for Wish where the Star was a “Jack Frost”-type young man, and still think that's a pity they changed it. I get that by such a change scriptwriters eliminated the romantic subplot with Asha, but I guess many would be much more intrigued with the silent young man who's curious to everything around him and isn't attached to the real life on Earth due to his god-like nature. So, further I'll refer to the Star as a young man.
Asha truly believes that fulfilment of her wish can be reached only if the Star fulfils all the wishes of people in the Kingdom of Rosas. And the Star truly carelessly fulfils any wish of anyone he meets on the streets, and so far, we see a good fella in him. But soon enough Asha and the Star see the consequences of their wish-fulfilment raid. In a short while people seem not so happy. The people of the Kingdom of Rosas start to suffer with jealousy to each other, start to become greedy. For example, there were two guys who wanted to become the best bakers of all, and they become ones, which causes them argue and ruins their friendship, since there can't be two "the best of the best". Others start to fight, to be anxious about their own wishes, to constantly ask for more and more in a way of “they have it and I want it, too!”, and so forth. The more wishes are fulfilled without any effort, the more people wish for. And such scenarios are everywhere. Literal chaos on the streets.
Moreover, the “fulfilment” of Asha’s wish seems to not help the Star to return home. That's why Asha goes to Magnifico in search for his wisdom and help and acquaints him and the Star fella. Magnifico convinces Asha and the Star that everything can be fixed.
With the Star’s help he performs his magic and makes people of Rosas to forget their wishes, returning them to their “normal state”. That's when we and Asha will accidentally know that Magnifico's rule not to tell anyone but himself about the wishes was because he didn't fulfil the real wishes: using the power of the wish he fulfilled something that he considered safe instead that won't harm anybody and made those people forget that they wished for something else. Asha is horrified by the revelation, at which Magnifico tells her that this is the necessity and the ruler's duty, since wishes can be dangerous and controversial, just as he does in the real animated movie, but now with the evidence that Asha sees herself on the streets. People fight with each other and wish each other bad things. Some could wish to destroy the country. Some could wish to harm someone. Moreover, wishes can argue with each other, just as it happened with those two bakers before. Someone will inevitably be miserable in the end. And the only way to prevent that chaos, to make everyone truly happy, is to make the fulfilment of the wishes controllable.
Asha is utterly broken, thinking that maybe Magnifico is right. Maybe it is better for people to live in a happy controlled oblivion. She leaves the Star with Magnifico, telling the Star to listen to Magnifico since he knows better how to make everyone happy, and walks away.
Meanwhile Magnifico goes through his final arc. What happened on the streets because of Asha and the Star makes him remember how he lost everything in his childhood because of some intruders, and gets the horrifying idea to make the whole world similar to the Kingdom of Rosas. So, he finally decides to take away the Star’s power. Magnifico convinces the Star that he can arrange a magical ritual: that a spell can create a portal in a magical mirror that reflects the sky on a sunset, and that portal will lead the Star home. The Star asks (in gestures) to invite all the people to see him depart, since he got attached to them. Magnifico agrees to that, since no one will suspect that the Star will vanish and not depart.
That's how we get a villain with a God complex: a villain whose greatest desire is to make everyone happy, but in a way he sees happiness himself. Good intention at the beginning, that was awfully twisted. But it's a real motivation. That's why he wants to take away the Star's power. He wants to make everyone in the world happy. In exchange for their free will.
To make everything what I stated above work properly there must be ONE supporting character who silently works to fulfil their dream themselves during the whole movie. And they become the one who'll tell Asha: “I can make it on my own. I don't need any miracles. What's entertaining in gaining what I wish for so easily? Will it be a wish if I get it so easy? It gives my life the sense, the taste; the goal is good, but the way itself is as much valuable. The small help you and my family gave me, Asha, was enough.”
And for Asha, suddenly, it clicks. She understands that people don't need all of their wishes to be immediately fulfilled. They just need to have some support on the way. To share their wishes. To be together through thick and thin. That’s the happiness. That’s what was wrong with fulfilling her wish and why it didn’t help the Star to return home. She gains information from the supporting character about the ritual on the square and rushes back to Magnifico's castle, since she is Magnifico’s apprentice and she knows that the ritual with the mirror is not what it’s seems. It's the evil magic. The one who charmed the mirror gets all the magical powers of the one reflected in it, and the reflected person will be trapped in the mirror forever until the death of the mirror’s creator.
That sets “the final fight”. Asha runs to the square in front of the castle and stops ritual. She reveals what Magnifico was about to do and what Magnifico did the whole time with controlling their wishes. She tells them a heartfelt speech about her revelation of true happiness and asks people how many times they wanted to share with each other what they wanted the most, but were supposed to stay silent, how many things they could have done together, but didn’t because they simply waited for the wish to come true in complete lonesome instead of making memories on the way to fulfil it themselves. No one believes her, since everyone loves Magnifico, but the Star opens the hearts of the people, making everyone’s wishes visible, and everyone see their own wishes and Magnifico’s cruel wish, too. Frightened with the rebellious crowd, Magnifico quickly sets a magical barrier and tries to finish the spell he started to perform to take away the Star’s powers, but Asha interrupts and turns the mirror to reflect in it Magnifico himself on the last words he says.
Magnifico becomes trapped in the mirror (yeah, yeah, I preserved that reference :D). The Star grants Asha with access to his powers through the magic wand, showing her that he trusts her and believes that she’s the golden middle between careless himself and “the control freak” Magnifico. That she has wisdom “to give people the rod and teach how to use it”. Then the Star can either stay on Earth, because he simply enjoyed the life there, or walk away to the sky. Optionally, with Asha herself. The End.
All of that sets the main idea and the final moral: there are good wishes and bad ones. Not every wish can come true. You must work hard yourself to make your wish come true, and the harder you work, the more valuable the result is to you. The true happiness is not only the final destination, but a journey to it through the life itself. And no matter what, there's always a place for a miracle, even a small one.
If you read it to the end, first of all, WOWIE, THANK YOU 😳, and second of all, sorry, it was truly wordy. It's just... I don't tell what I wrote is flawless, but at least I tried to do my best to fix the literal holes, eliminate lack of characters' motivation and make the characters work for the story, because God knows how tired I am to see good-but-underdeveloped concepts in the modern media.
I wish it changes someday.
#i call it 'my mental gymnastics' 'cause i do such things with every piece of media in which i find plot holes#i just usually neither write it down nor share it#dunno why i suddenly decided to do this today#MAYBE THE STARS ALIGNED HAHAHAH oh gosh i'm awful#hope you enjoy it#don't take it seriously tho#heldig writings#heldig thoughts#diney#wish disney#disney wish#plot concept#rewritten plot#fixed plot#king magnifico#wish magnifico#magnifico wish#asha wish#wish asha#star wish#wish star

TOS Replay Stray Thoughts #3 (Palmacosta Pt. 2/Thoda Geyser)
-Lloyd chewing out Dorr is very powerful – Scott Menville knocks it out of the park here – but much as everyone remembers “Don’t you start spewing the word “justice!” I hate that word!”, I always wondered where that came from. Yes, it’s easy to tie into his frustrations with empty platitudes surrounding racism and sacrifice, but remember that he’s still very naïve to the Journey of Regeneration’s true nature (let alone the existence of Cruxis) and thus he maintains a very black-and-white disposition towards the Desians. There’s the Iselia Human Ranch incident, yes, but “justice” isn’t one of the hollow excuses by given Iselia’s mayor/citizens, so it feels a little sudden.
Putting this way: we’re (successfully) roused by Lloyd taking action as everyone else keeps their heads down, but I always felt this particular outburst still feels a little undeveloped/early.
-Speaking of justice, ever notice the inconsistency with Dwarven Vow #7? In cutscenes it’s “goodness and love will always win”, but in the battle quote, it’s “justice and love will always win.” A localization error, perhaps, but I wonder if Lloyd’s second-hand embarrassment plays a role into his feelings over justice…?
-“My healing arts cannot save even one single life…?”
This line from Raine also struck me as a tad odd – yes, it’s meant to show her regret with Dorr breaking through the cold pragmatism she always displays, but it also implies a perceived inadequacy with her healing magic that’s never touched upon again. Always felt like a clumsy attempt add another layer of depth to a already tragic scene. - “And…if you somehow find a way to save my wife…please, help her return to her human form. When my daughter comesback, I don’t want her to be all alone…” Oh no…we save his wife much, much later, but Clara’s the one who ends up all alone. And we never see her reaction to her family’s death. How sad…
-It’s sorta funny how key items randomly drop into your lap early on, but I guess the Desians WOULD be carrying that Hakonesia Peak pass, huh? Throwing around their murderous weight as they travel to and fro, I’d imagine.
-Magnius is pretty boring – the other Cardinals usually have something going on but he’s just there to screech “vermin” in that generic bad dude voice of his while twirling his non-existent mustache. He’s not much better in the anime – ever notice he just straight up disappears after Colette’s hypnotic Holy Song? – but the manga’s interesting in how he divulges Raine and Genis’s half-elf identities. (In the game, he just mentions how they “can’t let go of their elven blood” – which, to its credit, does tie into Raine’s assurance to Genis that “we’re not like them – we’re different.”)
-Raine sure is worldly, but how is she so familiar with magitechnology? Might it have something to do with her time in Tethe’alla? Hmm…how many times did she play with the self-destruct button over there?
-Check out that highly disappointing ranch explosion – the prowess of Gamecube graphics right there LOL
-The washtubs are a perfect symbol of Sylvarant’s…uh, antiquatedness. Prime comedy, right here. Poor Raine, having to endure low-budget tourism…twice over!
-wait how did Noishe fit in the washtubs
-“Even I make mistakes. I made a terrible one…”
Laying it on a little thick, aren’t ya, Kratos???
(Actually, that reminds me: did you ever notice how the PS3 port removed ellipses wholesale across the script for whatever reason? Personally, they tend to play into the basic syntax I mentioned before with unvoiced dialogue, but as you can imagine, that “throw the baby out with the bathwater” approach leads to problems of its own.)
-killer starfish comin’ at ya and getting all slaphappy!!!
-this boss is the worst ugh I hate that bubble gun attack
-wait how’d they set up camp on that tiny hot spring
-“When you become an angel, I wonder if you'll go to the Tower of Salvation, too? If that's the case, we should just ask you after you go. I'm looking forward to your stories!”
oooooof

✮ a peek into my private jet waiting room !
feel free to steal this idea ;)

hii, today I felt like talking about my waiting room dr, I hadn't seen this idea anywhere else so I like to share about this in case anyone else also really likes it and wants to have something like this too c:
what is a waiting room?
in my opinion, a waiting room is a reality like any other. however, waiting rooms are often used as a transition point, it's where you'd go when you're just trying out a method, or when you haven't really decided where to go but you still want to shift. commonly, you'd shift to your waiting room, and then decide what dr to go to from there. many people (including myself) also use waiting rooms as a relaxing spot, somewhere to take a break, or someplace to get out all of your excitement after your first shift. there are pretty much no rules for waiting rooms (just like there are no rules for shifting in general), it can be anything, but ideally it would be a cozy and relaxing spot where you can rest or get prepared before you go into your actual dr.
a private jet?
yes !! I chose my waiting room to be a private jet for a lot of reasons, one of them because I wanted to see the sky ☁️
I specifically chose the model Boeing 767 because it's particularly HUGE. it has a whole lot of space, and I think it would be very very comfy. I scripted things like perfect wifi, infinite water and food, etc.
as for company, I scripted in my two adorable pets 💕 don't worry, I also scripted they don't get anxious about not going out and that they're perfectly happy and healthy inside. I also scripted Tanaka from Black Butler (LMAO), idk he seems kind enough. he knows about my shifting, and is kind of like a genie that can grant me anything I want. if I see an absolutely mouth watering dish on Pinterest, I can be like "omg can I have this?" and he'll just make it appear. he'd also be good company and willing to listen to me if I want to talk, even giving me advice, but also lets me have my space and alone time.

random thingies I scripted
a "portal pad" thingy that looks similar to this ↓ , it's some kind of tablet that lets me see and revise my scripts, and also lets me travel to any dr with a simple tap

the menu to choose my reality will be lifa app-inspired, something like this ↓
all the time, my view will be something like this ↓

I also have this clock which is not only very pretty, but also tells me the date and time in my cr

Rescue Bots: Showside
Here we are with the other half of Weretoons and Transformers Aligned combo. This is primarily focus on the Rescue Bots such as shenanigans to possible plot changes. Also some additional worldbuilding since Weretoons interact with the setting more than Prime's iteration. Enjoy.
The best place to start is with Griffin Rock itself. Over 8% of the population are Weretoons while 10% have said heritage. Some own a few local businesses while others work at different establishments such as the zoo. Greene family alongside the Burns are major Weretoon supporters.
These particular Weres can easily see through the Rescue Bots' machine facade(playing pretend is something Toons tend to do.) All of them support the group and usually offer a helping hand in some way. Either for a mission or someone to talk to. (The Rescue Bots deserve a bigger support group during their incognito days.)
Multiple ideas were implemented to make sure any knowledge of Weretoons don't reach the mainland through tourism. These involve little public skits with any toon shenanigans marked as advanced holograms/holoforms. Any footage of Weretoons are uniquely scrambled into a cartoon setting on the respective recording device once it leaves the mainland.
Now that's out of the way, we can get to the main point: the story. Cody is the Rescue Bots major introduction to Weretoons. Although Optimus and Bumblebee aren't aware of said presence until later. (They think Miko is the only one.)
All the bots had their own reaction to Cody showing his Weretoon nature.(Happens on the first episode with the T-Rex.) Chase's processor definitely took a bit longer to understand the insanity that comes with a subspecies who generally breaks multiple universal laws. (He adjusted better once given a book about Laws of Cartoon Physics.)
Heatwave takes it better although he now wonders how WEIRD this planet is gonna get. Absolutely holds Cody like a baby bird or kitten even if the kid ain't in toon form. This bot is a major softy around kids so he's less bothered by younger Weretoon shenanigans.
Blades accepts the knowledge quite easily although he's a bit nervous around the more chaotic members. Cody assures him that the only thing he has to worry about is cream pies, water squirting flowers and the occasional hand buzzer. Weretoons on Griffin Rock are more chill with their antics.
Boulder just finds the whole thing fascinating. He does ask questions but nothing invasive and has watched classic cartoons for research. The least to get pranked by Weretoons as Boulder is too nice to warrant it.
Griffin Rock's public skits, Showside, are an event the bots tend to 'participate'(get dragged in) frequently. What happens through each one is random as improv holds more interest than a simple script. This has led to: Boulder taking the Genie role for an Aladdin scene, a ballerina Heatwave ending up in a dunk tank thrice, Blades tapdancing against a Leprechaun Weretoon for chocolate coins and Chase medieval jousting with a T-Rex.
Bumblebee nor Optimus are safe either once they find out. You can bet Prime ended up in a clown costume trying to play hoops but Bee interferes with water balloons and shaving creme pies. It's overall dumb nonsense yet manages to be silly fun either way.
A personal escape for Cody whenever he feels lonely or a hassle. Despite his gryphon like toon form, any attempts to help his family get shot down just like in canon. Trust me when I say buried emotions don't mix very well when it comes to a Weretoon. It is gonna get pretty ugly once Cody reaches his breaking point.
Thus he tends to cling to the bots. None of them mind Cody showing up to help especially if the situation is really bad. His Understudy troupe does wonders too as he can temporarily copy the Rescue Bots' respective skill set.
Need to put out a fierce blaze? Mimic Heatwave and summon a high pressure water hose from his hammer space. If Cody can't find the right ability then Frankie sends a video that could help. Otherwise he uses his ability to fly and intense strength. A good chunk of situations aren't that bad thanks to being a Weretoon.
Dr. Morroco brings in the real danger once he shows up. When you consider the fruit loop profits from the black market, think about potential clients and who else lives on Griffin Rock. Shit is gonna get dark like how Who Framed Rodger Rabbit traumatized kids with the infamous Dip scene. If Prime is getting sillier then Rescue Bots will receive some messed up moments.
Speaking of that, both sides of this insanity aren't gonna stay isolated. The cast from Rescue Bots will meet their Prime half. Miko and Cody get to be gremlins together as Heatwave goes mother hen mode. (He really doesn't want kids anywhere near active warzone!)
Ratchet grills Optimus for hiding such information(Weretoons and Rescue Bots respective existence). Cody might accidentally end up on the Nemesis bewitching Vehicons with his kind nature to avoid Megatron. Breakdown is gonna quit at some point and drag Knockout with him(Blades' fault).
Can't forget the Team Prime getting pulled into some Showside skit shenanigans should they visit Griffin Rock. Blackmail and teasing all around as they need a break from the seriousness of war. What do you guys think?

I've gone through Sonic X Shadow Generations. I don't consider the rewritten script to either be better OR worse than the original, but Shadow Generations is the real star of the show. The old script is still a reason to go back to the original, even if just to compare old and new.
SXSG's script is hit and miss in the Sonic part. Some changes make sense such as Sonic referencing stopping Erazor after GHZ instead of "Rescuing genies" since the latter wasn't the biggest focus of SatSR but then you get nonsense like Sonic arbitrarily bringing up the Time Stones in regards to time travel when they can't do that.

Thanks for the questions! Here’s some for you for the weird writer ask 1, 12, and 26
1. What font do you write in? Do you actually care or is that just the default setting?
Now I don’t care as much but I do like wider fonts, I used to only write in Verdana. I'm lazier now and whatever is a preset is good enough I guess.
12. If a genie offered you three writing wishes, what would they be? Btw if you wish for more wishes the genie turns all your current WIPs into Lorem Ipsum, I don’t make the rules
1. To have perfect grammar
2. That my hypothetical book is made into a good movie where I have casting, script, director, and music approval. There's a song for one story I would want bad!
3. To be able to write exactly what I want easily
26. How do you get into your character’s head? How do you get out? Do you ever regret going in there in the first place?
It depends on who it is, generally Jackie and Hyde are pretty easy for me because I relate to them a lot at least their upbringing. If I’m not sure of the character I’ll watch videos of the character or the tone I want to copy. Kelso in I’ll Be There was one I did not enjoy going into.

What is A3! ???
It is a mobage!!! It has an anime adaptation and a lotta musicals, too, but it's mainly a game :) sadly, the english server shut down last year (rip, and the trans+localisation was SO good too).
The protag/player character is Izumi Tachibana (though you can change her first name), who acts as the director of a theatre company ^_^ the theatre company was nearing bankrupcy at the start of the game and only had the incompetent manager (who is such a dear) and one actor. Two, technically, but the other one was a bird. The bird was more skilled, also. Basically the play they put on stunk and it was their last chance to get some money to get their debts in order, our protag was the only person who saw it, though. But she was very inspired by it, and when the (stay with me) yakuza guys came round to bulldoze the theatre, she essentially said she'll improve the company and pay back the debt. (She has no experience as a director.)
Anyway. The story is separated into seasons, with each one following one troupe, but with a general overarching storyline that ties them together (getting the Fleur award, making the company survive the year, and so on). It's really fun, it's all about found family and striving towards your dreams and the characters growing as people and growing their relationships, it's really such a good story, I love it with all my heart.
Spring, summer, autumn and winter troupes in left-right, top-bottom order :] actually i wanna go into detail gimmie a second
So, as I said, there's the four troupes: spring focuses on traditional fairy-tales and fantasy plays, summer on slapstick comedy, autumn is all about action and winter about soft and subtle serious plays. For example, their debut plays were
Spring: a Romeo and Juliet where RomiJuli were actually besties, and also Juliet was Julius because none of them could play girls
Summer: a 1001 nights adaptation where Scheherezade was telling the story to Ali Baba, but when she had to leave to be wed to the king, he used the genie to wish it away. It was actually really funny, i should rewatch it sometimes
(Digression but the plays were like. You do rehearsals and then unlock the play which is a lil 5min video of their chibis walking on the stage with props and animations and speech bubbles, it's cute)
Autumn: mafiosi have to team up despite their horrid relationship to eachother and in the process learn to work together (which perfectly parallels the way the leads actually evolved their relationship off the stage)
Winter: a story about an angel falling in love with a dying human </3
In the spring troupe you have Sakuya, the leader who loves acting and the Original Actor who Izumi saw on stage. He was bad, but really loved it, and that's what made her want to help. Masumi is like a teen heartthrob in his school, but he's apathetic and doesn't really care about anything, except for Izumi who he has a massive crush on. With time, you figure out he's just projecting his lack of parental attention on her. Tsuzuru is their scriptwriter, who is the straight man to Citron's boke, he's a college student who begs to do scriptwriting for the company, but he hyperfocuses on them, writes until he literally drops and worries everyone. Speaking of Citron, he's a foreigner from a country called Citronia, he says he's an exchange student. I think the truth is revealed in winter year 2, but i didn't finish autumn year 2 before the server ended so </3 Itaru is the king of gap, he's a businessman by day, and hardcore gamer by night. Chikage is the year 2 newcomer, can't say much about him, but I'll say more when I get to "the story: the details". Again, I wanna make this detailed :) for Year 1 Spring, the theme was acting, none of them except Sakuya (and Citron?) wanted to act. Tsuzuru wanted to write scripts, Masumi was just following Izumi, Itaru wanted free board, and that made their acting suck because they were all out of sync. Their story follows the characters finding their passion and learning to work together.
Summer's leader is Tenma, who is a famous TV actor, but terrible on-stage because he gets stage-fright. Yuki is the company's costume designer and maker, foul-mouthed, but hiding a sensitive side. Muku is a sweetheart who's very shy and self-depreciative, but wants to be "a prince" (he loves shoujo manga) (when Tsuzuru gave them their script, he said he went to read 1001 nights and called it "just like shoujo"). Misumi fucking LOVES triangles. His name is written as 三角 which means triangle. I can't figure him out, though, he seems like a cheerful and naive young man, but there's a sadness in him, it gets explored in later stories. Kazunari, love of my life, is a college student who is very cheery and happy-go-lucky and super extroverted. And it's an act. He runs the company website. Kumon is also a Year 2 character, so I don't know much about him, but he seems a sweetheart. Idolises his brother (Juza from Autumn). Summer troupe could NOT work together at first. Yuki and Tenma were at eachother's throats all the time. They still are, but less maliciously now. Their story follows them learning to work together, and bounce off eachother, and overcoming their insecurities.
Autumn troupe are my faves. Their leader is Banri, and the "second" guy is Juza. (Now, I forgot to mention, but in Year 1 the main two leads were the leader and "second" guy, which is to say the two whose relationships were the most fucked and needed the most work - in spring this was Sakuya and Masumi, and in Summer it was Tenma and Yuki). I cannot explain one without the other. Juza looks like a delinquent, he's scary, he does get into fights,,,, but mostly in self-defence as beating his ass is seen as a status symbol and he doesn't wanna fight. He wants to act, but he's really bad at it. Banri wants to kick his ass so fucking bad he trails him to the auditions, auditions with him and then decides he'll kick his ass at acting if he can't fight him with fists. Banri is a prodigy, he's good at every fucking thing. I can't say anything on Taichi so as to not spoil. Autumn is a bit dramatic. There's a rival company that we find out about in this season. He needs a hug, though, poor thing could never get an acting gig despite wanting to act so bad. Now, remember when I mentioned the yakuza? Sakyo is the guy they owe money to. He is now working on their finances. Scary old man. Azami is a year 2 character, I haven't finished reading Autumn, so I know nothing, but he's Sakyo's boss' (yes) kid, i hear. And their make-up artist. Omi is the mother hen, but he had a dramatic past as a biker before changing his ways. Malewife central, I love him so much. Autumn's deal was coming to terms with their pasts, accepting themselves and for some it was also about personal growth.
Winter's got the SocietyTM themes. The main two are Tsumugi and Tasuku. Tasuku is an athlete!! A fitness nut!!!!! He used to act for the rival company. Tsumugi is the leader, who works as a tutor :] and loves flower language. They are childhood friends, also. Homare is a poet who is vvvvvvv autistic-coded, he has low (or no?) empathy and can't read people. He talks about feeling like an alien or robot often, but it's not treated as something that needs fixing, even though he's sad about it. Hisoka is the Sleepy CharacterTM who also has amnesia. I will have to tell you more about him in story: the details, tho it will have spoilers. Azuma is the elegant, mature adult TM TM TM TM and he is so.... i can't even describe him. Ethereal. He is looked down upon for his job. I can't remember if saying what it is was a spoiler or not, I think he hid it tho. And about Guy, the newcomer, i know NOTHING. He is also from Citronia (and why Citron's truth is revealed in year 2 winter), but I don't know anything about it. I don't know how to describe what Winter was about. Interpersonal relationships and having understanding for one another. There was a time loop.
And then a bit more on the details of the story!!! Listen.
Listen.
You start playing A3! and, sure, it's a bit out there with the yakuza and the debt and acting parrot. But it's not that unrealistic. It's just goofy. Spring has a normal story, it's two high schoolers with absent family, a college kid, a salaryman/gamer and a foreign guy who speaks with a thick accent unless he's acting. It's goofy, but it's down-to-earth. They fight and can't figure out how to act normally bc half of them don't care and they all have terrible chemistry. One of them sleeps on the stage. They have an impromptu sleepover. They bond. It's so cute and it works and their play was a success and now they have people wanting to join!!
Summer troupe is also very normal, very goofy. A TV star (high schooler) getting called a hammy hack-actor and a loser by a middle schooler, a guy who loves shoujo manga so bad, a college kid who's always hitting on every girl he sees and a guy who collects triangles and also has been living in the dorms without anybody knowing for years. Weird on the triangle guy, but sure. They fight, they go camping, they bare themselves to eachother, they figure out how to work together. The play is a success, more people want to join!!
Autumn!!! A buncha bad boys with bad pasts, some with bad presents. Banri and Juza get handcuffed together. They have to be roomies. Juza snores so fucking loudly.
- SPOILER -
They get betrayed by one of their own?!?!?! But he regrets it and he feels so bad because he realised this company cares more about him than the one that sent him. He doesn't wanna go back. And they accept him
- SPOILER END -
And they write essays about their pasts and learn to see eachother as people and they bond and their play is a success and more people want to join <3
And then Winter. I don't remember much of it. Tsumugi and Tasuku have a tense relationship because they were friends, but Tsumugi gave up on acting. In order to fix this, the universe sticks them in a time loop that only they are aware of, until they talk it the fuck out. Homare wishes he could read people's emotions better so he finds an emotions loupe. It lets him read people's minds and it helps solve a very huge dilemma in the troupe's interpersonal conflicts. He then promptly puts it away and ends hoping he'll one day be able to read people without it, too. I think there's also something about a secret locked room but~~~ i forgot that. Anyway. This is the one where they go against their ultra-powerful rival company. And the play is a success, and the company is saved from bankrupcy!!!!! By just a bit. They're on a zero. Sakyo is still cinching their belts.
And then it gets extra fucked up. Hisoka's amnesia. Is connected to Chikage in year 2. Now this is straight up SPOILERS for this and the paragraph below so feel free to skip this, but it's like. Wahooo funny actors lovely. And then there's the assassin subplot. Chikage and Hisoka were in the same assassin group. Hisoka was presumed dead. Chikage, I think, was there to finish the job. He kidnaps Izumi at some point and threatens her life.
DESPITE IT ALL. A3! the found family ICON. Accept him as one of their own and tell him he, too, has a place in their company, he, too, can find a better life. Just because the usual improvement was "My family is negligent" to "Now my friends are my family" or "i'm gonna kick your ass" to "oh this acting shit kinda goes hard", doesn't mean his can't be "i will literally kill everyone because i am an assassin" to "oh, okay, acting"
Anyway, I love A3!. Yaycupcake has translations for the main story to Act 12 (so, three years) as well as event, side, and conversation stories. The animation in the anime is eh, but it's worth watching. There's a cute manga. They have a strip where Izumi has to work at a girls' company for a bit and Muku's shoujo-inspired thoughts are "omg what if she gets swept off her feet by a masculine knight girl and they fall in love <3333" and absolutely ruins Masumi's life (who thought his ""relationship"" with her will be safe because there are no men there)

Adding some stories from my uni:
-My teacher for a graphic design unit encouraged use of generative AI, claiming that she uses it to "design all her advertisements" and "write all her scripts" outside of school, her job is exclusively writing scripts btw.
-My OTHER teacher for a 3D course kept showing """"incredible"""""" digital paintings made entirely by AI and talking about how "wow it's so impressive and wonderful" and every time I said "no this is plagiarism" he would always just say: "well the genies out of the bottle now"
-My teacher for a web design course said we should use chatgpt to write our webpage's information instead of writing it ourselves, and didn't seem bothered by some students using it for front end and back end coding.
-this one is tangential, but one of my friends whos majoring in Computer science was recently working on a group project, she sent her code to her partner and asked him to look it over. He said "I plugged it into Chatgpt and it said to do this instead."
When she ran the new "ChatGPT approved code" it no longer worked as intended.
Generative AI is a disease and everyone who's addicted to using it now is as much of a rube as the people who fell for NFTs a few years back.
I just started grad school this fall after a few years away from school and man I did not realize how dire the AI/LLM situation is in universities now. In the past few weeks:
I chatted with a classmate about how it was going to be a tight timeline on a project for a programming class. He responded "Yeah, at least if we run short on time, we can just ask chatGPT to finish it for us"
One of my professors pulled up chatGPT on the screen to show us how it can sometimes do our homework problems for us and showed how she thanks it after asking it questions "in case it takes over some day."
I asked one of my TAs in a math class to explain how a piece of code he had written worked in an assignment. He looked at it for about 15 seconds then went "I don't know, ask chatGPT"
A student in my math group insisted he was right on an answer to a problem. When I asked where he got that info, he sent me a screenshot of Google gemini giving just blatantly wrong info. He still insisted he was right when I pointed this out and refused to click into any of the actual web pages.
A different student in my math class told me he pays $20 per month for the "computational" version of chatGPT, which he uses for all of his classes and PhD research. The computational version is worth it, he says, because it is wrong "less often". He uses chatGPT for all his homework and can't figure out why he's struggling on exams.
There's a lot more, but it's really making me feel crazy. Even if it was right 100% of the time, why are you paying thousands of dollars to go to school and learn if you're just going to plug everything into a computer whenever you're asked to think??
