Pokemon: (Mainly) Gladion, N. (Kinda) Maxie, Archie, Cynthia, Hau. (NO) Ghestsis, Cyrus, Giovanni
Rules: No non-con requests, no stepcest requests, no incest requests, for minors, it will only be fluff unless the request has it where the character is 18+, I am allowing people above the age of 12 to interact with my content cause I too did read smut as a 13-year-old, no abuse, I will not be writing any Hawks x Reader x Dabi, I will write disabled characters, I will write gay relationships, no abusive relationships with the requested character
Now I need to figure out how to make a masterlist
ALSO, if my grammar is bad, even though English is my first language, I'm a fast typer after having experience of writing ever since Elementary

Fanfic request guidelines!
I'm now accepting fanfic requests because why not! My ao3 is here. Feel free to shoot me a request through my ask box - but please note the following things:
GENERAL:
It might take me varying periods of time depending on the prompt and how busy I am etc. Also on whether you're requesting a oneshot/drabble or a multi-chapter fic, the latter of which I might deny.
I may deny a request, especially if the person sending it is being unkind; otherwise, I'll try my best to do to all of them. (And aim to do them in the order they are sent. If people actually send me any lol)
FANDOMS I CAN WRITE FOR:
Currently, I'm most experienced with:
One-Punch Man (mainly Saigenos // non-ship fics about Saitama and/or Genos)
Brokeback Mountain
Genshin Impact (almost exclusively Haikaveh // non-ship fics about Kaveh and/or Alhaitham)
I'm in these fandoms, but don't have much experience writing for them:
ASOIAF / GoT (pretty much exclusively Sandor Clegane and Braime to a lesser extent)
TGCF (Hualian)
WHAT YOU CAN REQUEST:
Please request in the form of prompts (and don't be afraid to make it detailed if you like!)
Headcanons
Ficlets (below 1k words)
Oneshots (1k-5k words)
MAYBE multi-chapter fics if I am interested enough!
STUFF I WILL NOT WRITE:
NSFW. However, I may write suggestive content depending on what and how much, and I'm fine with kissing or fade-to-black scenes. (basically, I can write Gen, Teen, and occasionally Mature.)
Abusive or toxic relationships
Adult x minor
OC x Canon
Reader-insert
Gore/torture/intense violence etc
Cheating
Self-harm
Suicide
Flower shop AUs
Crossovers
Dubcon or noncon between the shipped characters.
STUFF I WILL WRITE:
Pretty much anything I didn't list in the above list. But, just to clarify:
I can write SA or implied SA as long as it's NOT Explicit
Past abuse or tragic backstories
Any AUs (I especially love fantasy, modern, high school, or actor AUs)
Found family or non-ship fics, including introspection. I don't exclusively write ships!
Characters will mental illness (as long as it's not glorified)
Disabled characters
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
If you want me to respond to the ask privately, please let me know and I can do that. However, Tumblr won't let me do that with anonymous asks unless it's through DMs.
Likewise, I'd like to link the finish work in the response to the ask, but if you don't want me to, just let me know.
I will always crosspost to my ao3, and anything longer than a ficlet I will just post on ao3 and provide a link to it in the ask response.
I might need some more time or specificity in the prompt if I'm writing an AU where a character is neurodivergent - I myself have not been diagnosed as neurodivergent, so I don't want to misrepresent or accidentally disrespect the neurodivergent community. Same with disabled characters and mental disorders.
If you decide to send me a request, have fun!

True Self [Genos x OC]
Tumblr media
Ch. 2 | ~To Avail~ (pt. 2)
She was stunned and looked at Genos with a “what the hell just happened” kind of look. “So.. How old are you then?” Miyu asked him with a weirded out expression.
He rested his elbow onto the table as he pointed his finger up and said, “Oh, I’m 25. I started my own training routine 3 years ago back when I was 22 and didn’t stop it despite the difficulties--.” he realized he had begun monologuing.  Saitama’s eyes and eyebrows slightly twitched as he was disgusted by his realization. “And you?”
Miyu giggled then took a deep breath and spoke calmly. “I’m Miyu, 18 years old, and I ran away from home because I wanted to avoid an arranged marriage.” She noticed the boys looked unimpressed or couldn’t care less. It internally annoyed her since she felt like she was getting judged, but she couldn’t quite tell.
“That’s lame.” Saitama commented bluntly.
“What is?” she asked as she lowered a brow.
“Just say no.”
Miyu stuttered in disbelief. “I-If it was that easy then I wouldn’t have been here!” she sputtered.
He shooed her away and pointed at the closest door near the entrance. “You should go wash up right now.”
She looked at the direction he was pointing at and nodded. As she walked up to her luggage, she rummaged through it to find her towel. A sense of relief filled her since she was finally able to take a proper shower after so long. She was able to adjust the water’s temperature and use proper shampoo and conditioner to clean her hair. The forest’s scent was no longer on her.
On the outside, Miyu seemed to be taking a long time from the boys’ perspective. Saitama complained since he wanted to use the bathroom already. Genos would occasionally look at the door and think that she would come out, only to just see the door remain closed. The two of them waited with their varied levels of patience.
When Miyu finally came out, Saitama hurriedly rushed into the bathroom. She placed her hand on her cheek and looked at the ground, realizing that she had been in there longer than she had thought. She rubbed her hair a bit more with her towel then placed it over her shoulders as her hair air-dried. Miyu walked back to the door to apologize, “Sorry!”
“You should!” Saitama said through the door.
Genos walked up to the door and asked, “Should we discuss rent?”
Her eyes widened as she started to lightly pull down on her cheeks. “Oh my gosh, I just realized I spent the night here..” she shrieked. “I’m only off for a week. I get back to work straight away after that. I can pay you guys better then.!”
“Actually.” a flush from the bathroom was heard, along with the sink water. Saitama then opened the door and walked past the cyborg and girl to get back to his living room. “You have good coupons. Usually, Genos does all the household work. Maybe that kind of stuff could be your job.”
Miyu clasped her hands together. “Really? Surely there’s more.?” she asked.
“I mean-” he turned on the tv and began to watch. “The groceries sure are something too.”
“I won’t disappoint then.” she affirmed. Miyu began to slowly unpack, but it didn’t take long since she didn’t have much. She had a few clothes, a pair of red glasses, comb, hairbrush, hair ties, toothbrush, toothpaste, pens and pencils, and many journals.
“Why do you have more journals than clothes?” Genos asked curiously.
She organized her stuff a bit to fit neatly in the apartment. “Well, I write in my free time.”
“We should head out and go get your own f-” Genos stopped mid-sentence as he sensed another figure coming their way. “Get back!” he told Miyu since he knew she couldn’t defend herself. “Object coming near slowly.” he had his hand out, ready to blast.
Miyu looked at him, thinking he was dramatic. From behind, she heard Saitama walk towards them. The two made eye contact and she gave him an expression and mouthed, “What’s happening?” to which he waved off.
Saitama patted Genos from behind, indirectly telling him that it was okay. The blonde cyborg lowered his hand down and refrained from further alertness as he sensed the figure get closer. Saitama then opened the door to see King with his console in his hands.
King looked down at Saitama and greeted both him and Genos. He noticed Miyu behind them. He waved at her, to which she reciprocated. “Saitama, I brought the gaming console you wanted to borrow since you said--”
Saitama quickly cut him off. “Ah! King! Yes! One of your unexpected visits, as usual.” he fanned out his hand and welcomed him into the living room. The man never told Genos that he had been going off to play games during his free time and had instead been telling the cyborg that he had been doing important things.
Genos looked at his master and pointed at the door with his thumb. “We’re heading off.” he told him as he walked out the door.
“Bye!” Miyu bowed and waved at the two before closing the door and following Genos.
Both King and Saitama waved and began setting up the game console. They looked at each other for a bit as they didn’t know what to talk about first; the game, that Genos doesn’t know about Saitama slacking off, or the elephant in the room. Their game was soon booted up and the two began mashing buttons to fight.
“So, who is she?” King started off with.
Saitama focused on the game as King beat his character up with multiple combos. “She’s this udon worker that Genos knows.” His thumbs were rapidly shifting as he desperately maneuvered around King’s character to avoid any further hits. “Gah!” he exclaimed out of slight frustration.
“What business does she have here?” he asked.
“Doesn’t have a place to go to.” Saitama’s game character died in the first round and he slammed the controller to the ground but not hard enough to break the floor. “Urgh!” He then tried composing himself. “She’s also Genos’ other teacher, in a way.” he added.
“Teacher?” he casually asked as he pressed buttons with ease. “What does she teach him then?”
“For the past weeks, Genos has been seeing her for manga lessons.”
“Manga lessons?” King chuckled. “That doesn’t sound like him.”
“Genos assumed I gained strength from my mangas.” Saitama said with an annoyed tone.
King nodded since that explanation made more sense. “Now that adds up.” In the game, he was cornered with a sliver of health left. He kept blocking as he was attacked with multiple spam attacks. “He doesn’t seem like he’d just read manga on his own. But why is he learning from that girl and not you?” When he found an opening to attack, he pushed Saitama’s character and struck.
“You-!” Saitama continued to mash his buttons furiously. “Because he read all of my shounen ones and started reading some of my shoujos. After that, I basically told him he needed to learn how to live like his age. It became this task for him to somehow become stronger.”
“Do you think it’s possible for him to get stronger?”
Saitama died in the game, once again, but he didn’t fuss about it that time as King’s question had caught him off guard. “He lacks power. All his strength depends on his mechanics. No matter how much training I make him do, it won’t make him physically stronger.”
As Genos and Miyu were walking, they’d occasionally run into more mutant bugs. The association soon gave Genos a call to inform him that all of them were to be considered as monsters. He understood and incinerated any that he sensed or came near.
Miyu looked at him from time to time as she thought about his mechanics. He functioned differently since he was a cyborg, so it amused her. “Hey.. what parts of you are human?” she asked him.
He looked at her and said, “It’s just my brain. Doctor Kuseno made me this way to appear more human. The skin you see on my face is just artificial skin.”
“I really need to thank you for taking me in, so thank you.” she said gratefully with a smile. “You’ve done a lot for me, and I’m not sure how I’m supposed to repay you.”
“I’m learning from you, and it’s been a difficult process. You have my utmost respect.”
“Even so,” her eyes softened. “It is a bit much.”
He shrugged and crossed his arms. “Things don’t always go as planned, like your job. I didn’t see any reason as to why it was such a bad thing that I brought you to Master Saitama’s place although I can see why to an extent after what you taught me. It can be a big misunderstanding.”
She nodded. “Yes, it really can be. “
It didn’t take too long for them to get out of the ghost town and get back to where most people roamed around. There were no more ruins of buildings and nothing but the clean city, for the most part. They walked through the markets to find suitable futons that would fit in the apartment and came to Miyu’s liking.
Around them were others that sometimes stared or whispered among themselves. Miyu took notice of the people around them and felt self-conscious, asking Genos if they could leave the area as soon as possible. He assured her that there were no threats around them, but that wasn’t her concern. After they made their purchase, the two headed home until Miyu got side-tracked.
“Genos! Could we try that?” she asked excitedly as she pointed at an ice cream parlor.
He turned his head to look. “Right now? But we have to take this back.” he referred to the futon that he was carrying.
“But there’s nothing wrong with getting side-tracked.” Miyu pouted with disappointment.
Genos stopped walking as he sensed something scurrying around. “Don’t move.” he told her, which she listened to.
“Help! HELP!” voices cried out from behind them.
The two of them looked behind them to see people screaming and running in terror. The buildings around slowly formed cracks. Luckily, the buildings didn’t collapse yet, but they looked severely damaged. Genos quickly told Miyu to run to a safe direction with the futon and that he’d find her later. She nodded and ran off.
The cyborg ran into the direction of the chaos. He used his sensors to track down his enemy and found a giant cockroach. He attempted to incinerate it, but it didn’t seem to work. “You’re a menace to most here!” he shouted at it.
It scurried around and spread fumes, making others around sick. The monster lunged at Genos with its legs and tried scratching him with them but failed. Frantically moving around, it flipped over to try to crush Genos, only to break the asphalt.
Genos pushed it down further by hitting it hard with his elbow. He jumped up and spinned with speed thanks to the boosters at his shoulder blades. It allowed him to attack the monster with more force. He noticed that his opponent had kept running through the shadows to avoid the light. He then yelled, “Lightning eye!” and his yellow irises began to glow brighter and brighter until it flashed a bright light at the cockroach.
It didn’t anticipate his move and saw the light head on. It became blinded from his eyes and struggled to maneuver around.
“Dual Blade Rush!” he shouted as blades came out of his arms. Genos slashed its head off, but the body still moved. “Machine gun blow!” he continued to fight and delivered a barrage of punches at a blinding speed until it didn’t move. From where its head was cut, he began to incinerate it from the inside then out.
From a distance, Miyu saw the whole thing and was proud but concerned. If Genos had to deal with such things all the time, then it’s no wonder why he was like that. As his mentor with manga and such, she felt like she had to take her part more seriously and be more responsible about it. Looking up, she saw Genos running to her after most thanked him for his help.
“Are you alright?” he asked as he took the futon from her hands.
She sighed and shook her head. “This isn’t normal..”
“Hm?”
Miyu grabbed him by the wrist and tried dragging him, which didn’t work since he weighed a ton. She persisted to keep walking despite her efforts not working. “You need to have fun!”
He began walking to help her out to save her the trouble. Genos looked at her hand on his wrist and asked, “What do you mean?”
“Gotta act our age, right?” she said with confidence as she looked back at him. “Don’t think too much about the futon. Let’s go around like yesterday but actually do something rather than a tour!”
“So how are we going to have fun?” he asked.
Miyu contemplated for a bit on how she was gonna word things. “Fun isn’t just something that you do that’s described. Something fun can bring you this feeling of enjoyment, excitement, you might say. Whatever’s done may not be considered fun based on preferences, and you can’t just always determine it based on how you see it. You should try it at least.”
Genos took a mental note on every word Miyu said. “Won’t this delay my goal?” he questioned.
“About the cyborg that destroyed your hometown?” she shook her head. “Not at all. There’s sure to be days where you don’t fight, right? Those days off of yours could be put into training, but you do that all the time! Even when you’re with me for our manga sessions, you’re mainly there for learning. You should at least enjoy what you’re reading too. The plot! It’s fun to get into stories.” she pointed out.
“Go on?”
“There won’t always be some sort of goal. Last night, you said you can count me as a reliable friend? Well.. I-I..” she sputtered. “I will be that! You can always look to both Saitama and I for guidance as advisers, but I will always promise to be your friend first.!”
Genos nodded firmly as he was determined to understand every concept she was teaching him. They soon stopped as they came to a stop at an arcade. He watched her grip slowly come off of him as she gestured to him to enter. He looked inside as the building was a bit dark. All the games mainly lit up the place whether it was an arcade game or a claw machine.
Miyu went up to the front counter and paid for two gaming cards. She gave the other to Genos and they walked around. There were many people inside with different age groups. It didn’t matter how old you were since everyone was able to find something that they were bound to enjoy. After walking around for a bit, she found one of those games that tested your strength and suggested Genos to give it a try.
Genos insisted it wasn’t a good idea since he’d probably break the machine, but she insisted to try either way and swiped his card. He gave it a swift jab without using his full force and punched the small bag. It immediately went up along with the numbers on the screen. He watched the screen stop at the number 999 and turned to Miyu. “And this determines my strength?” he asked.
She made a face and did a so-so motion with her hand. “Eh, kinda? Not really? I mean-..” she awkwardly laughed. “Normally, yes, but you’re a special case. Since you’re stronger than most people, I bet it would’ve excelled those numbers by a lot!” she assured him.
“That’s an obvious statement, but how will it tell me what I’m lacking?” he wondered.
“Genos,” she presented the game with her hand. “These games don’t really give you information like that. They just calculate your strength and its programmed capacity is 999. Who knows, technology is always advancing. Maybe some invention will one day give you an analysis for that kind of thing.” she told him on a positive note as she gestured to him to follow her around more. “You could try other games with that card. How about a fighting game?” she asked.
“I need to fight someone in here?” he questioned in shock. “That would not be a fair fight.”
She squinted her eyes at him and made a face. “What? No-” Miyu laughed for a second. “Haha, I need to teach you a lot. This is all still a lesson, but don’t fully think that way.” she told him. “Anyways, they’ll either involve joysticks, controllers, or guns.” she explained.
“Guns?”
“They’re just the controllers, don’t worry. They’re not real.” she assured him. “I can even play with you one some too!”
His tone changed a bit and sounded more interested. “Can you now?”
Miyu nodded and pointed at a game from across the room. “Let’s try that one over there!” she suggested as she jogged up to it happily.
He followed and looked at the machine. Genos noticed there were two sets of joysticks and buttons. “I assume you’ll use the other pair?” he asked her as he swiped his card.
She swiped her card and explained the controls on how to move his character. She taught him that the joystick was for movement and buttons were the attack moves and blocks. “Each character has their own attack style and strength level. Also, blocks will always work in this game as long as you’re facing the right direction. It doesn’t matter how strong your character is.”
“So these are what Master Saitama cannot beat King on.” Genos commented randomly.
“The guy that was over earlier?” she asked as the game started.
“Yes, he is ranked 7 within the S-Class heroes and is known as the strongest man on earth to many that follow the Hero Association. However, as much as I do respect his strength, I know that title doesn’t belong to him.” he explained.
“Because of your master, Saitama, huh?” she checked.
“Yes, you are correct.” he confirmed.
The two focused on their game as they continued talking. Genos’ character died in the 1st round as he was still getting used to the controls. Miyu gave him a tip on not to spam attacks unless he had a thought out attack combo at a good time. He listened and beat her on their 2nd round. When it came to the last round of their game, their conversation became more choppy since they were focused on beating each other. It didn’t take too long for the game to end as it ended in a draw due to them doing their special attacks at the same time.
Miyu then suggested they try shooting and racing games. Genos agreed and followed her around as she chose the games. When they came across the racing game, Genos would exclaim about how objects being thrown shouldn’t be involved since racing is about speed. He went on about how purposely bumping into each other’s carts and using items wasn’t a true race, which made Miyu laugh because it was just a game, and he was taking it too literally.
After trying racing games, Miyu made Genos try a shooting game next. They picked up the gun controllers and started shooting at zombies. She often reminded him that he couldn’t depend on his sensors to find out where they were going to come from and that he just had to pay attention. He listened and began moving his gun to face multiple directions to not miss a single shot. A few had caught him off guard since there’d be some that would pop out of the side of the screen out of nowhere randomly.
“Do you want to try a claw machine game?” she asked him then warned, “They’re kinda rigged though.”
“If it’s rigged, then why would people waste their time on it.?”
Miyu shrugged and answered, “Though it’s rigged, it’s kinda a chance thing.”
Genos declined the offer and asked if she wanted to continue. He was surprised to hear that she wanted him to choose, and he didn’t know how to react or respond. He peered from one of the corners of the wall to take a look outside and saw that it was still bright. “Do people usually stay in here all day?” hr questioned curiously.
She shook her head. “No, unless you’re a no life here, then yeah.”
“No life?”
Miyu assured him he wasn’t a no life and that he had better things to do than spend his days at arcades for many hours. “Do you want to use your points from games to get something in exchange?” she suggested.
Genos lifted his card up and looked at it for a bit. “I don’t see why I would want anything.”
She sighed. “Well, there’s bound to be something that you might really want one day.”
“One day.” he nodded. “I’ll tell you if so.”
“That’s great.” she smiled happily. Miyu felt like she was making some progress with him finding things to enjoy. “We can head back to the apartment for your manga session if there’s nothing else that’s coming to your mind.”
“That sounds ideal.”
As the two of them walked back, they continued to talk about other things whether it were about the Hero Association, Saitama, the arcade, or manga. Miyu slowly started to open up more as they talked. She went on about how she gets lost in the mangas that she reads and has a habit of re reading some because she liked them so much. Genos couldn’t relate, but he did his best to understand her point of view.
“Master Saitama seems to be really interested in the Sakura Hime series.” Genos commented as they crossed through into the ghost town of City Z. “The fighting styles are very unique. I haven’t encountered anyone like them, but I’m confident in taking them on in a fight if that were to happen. The only person I can think of that is similar, but not really, would be Sonic.”
Miyu held in her laughter and snickered, “Pfft.. Sonic.? Is he fast?” she asked him sarcastically.
“He’s very fast.” Genos informed her with caution. “When I first met him, it was difficult for my sensors to track his movements. He’s dangerous,” he turned his head to see her covering her mouth and quietly laughing. “Why’re you laughing?”
“Nothing, nothing.!” she giggled. “Did he wear blue?” she went on and burst into laughter.
He thought for a moment and said, “I believe he just had blue eyes. He was a ninja.”
With one slow nod, she listened. “How long ago did you fight him?”
“It’s been quite a long while.. I’m not sure when the next time we’ll see him again. He has something against Master Saitama. “
They soon arrived at the apartment. Genos informed Miyu that King still appeared to be there since he sensed two figures inside. From the outside, they can hear Saitama’s frustration over losing and King slightly mocking him. They awkwardly entered and minded their own business.
As Genos entered the living room while Miyu prepared dinner, he placed her futon at the side where theirs were stacked and began reading patiently. King leaned back and asked Genos about how his studies and training were going. He told him that they were going fine thanks to some help.As they had their small talk, Saitama trained in the game, hoping to improve himself and one day finally beat King in a match.
“I hear Saitama has told you to read manga.” King brought up as he sat at the table.
Genos carefully placed the manga down to give him his proper attention. “Yes, it’s been going well thanks to some help.” he referred to both his master and new friend.
“I see you have brought a new futon. You two took a while to get one.” he pointed out. “Did you guys run into some trouble?”
The blonde cyborg recalled the events regarding the cockroach that was in the city not too long ago. He expressed some concern over the cities as the rise of these monsters kept coming. “I’m speculating there’s some ties with the once House of Evolution from before, but Master Saitama and I had already gone before. He defeated its strongest hybrid, but the similarities are uncanny.”
“I’m heading to the Hero Association--” King was then interrupted by Saitama’s eagerness.
“I believe I can defeat you know!” Saitama exclaimed confidently as he gritted his teeth from stress.
“Maybe next time, Saitama. You can borrow the console. I’ll be taking my leave to avoid overdoing my stay.” he insisted.
“Wait!” Miyu called out to him in the kitchen. She peered from the kitchen’s door to look at the three. “You should stay for dinner.” she insisted. “We have more than enough food for 3.” her voice slowly faded as she felt like she was crossing some line, but she wanted to make the effort to get to know those around her new roommates.
Saitama agreed with her as he passed the controller to King. “Yeah! Do that!”
King rolled his eyes at Saitama’s antics and took the controller from his hands to quickly beat him in a match. “I’ll stay then.” he told them with gratitude. He then turned to Saitama with a plain expression. “You need more practice.” he teased.
Soon after, Miyu walked back and forth from the kitchen to the living room nervously. She didn’t want to spill the food she made, so she held one bowl at a time. Placing each bowl down carefully, her fingers trembled as the heat  from them was somewhat getting to her. Back at the kitchen, she would quickly flail her hand for some wind to cool it off. As she brought the last bowl, they all thanked her for the food and began eating.
“This tastes good, Miyu.” Saitama complimented her. “I never had hitsumabushi like this before.”
She thanked him for his compliment and explained, “I thought it would be nice to eat it to avoid summer heat weariness.”
Saitama looked up at the ceiling with a blank expression on his face and replied, “Oh, that doesn’t really affect me.”
“Oh..” she laughed awkwardly. “Haha.. I see..”
“I can see why they hired you at that udon shop.” he added on.
Her eyes widened in surprise from King’s comment. She quickly swallowed the food in her mouth to avoid talking with her mouth full and asked, “You know I work there?”
He nodded in response. “Yes, Saitama was talking about it a while ago.” King turned to Genos and asked, “Do you think the food is good, Genos?”
“Doctor Kuseno gave me the functions of being able to eat, but I am unable to taste anything.” he explained.
Miyu gave him a soft smile but was internally a bit disappointed that her cyborg friend couldn’t taste the flavors. “That’s okay.” she assured him. “At least it helps with biofuel.”
“It always does, thank you.” Genos told her.
When they were done, King escorted himself out and thanked them all for having him over. They all said their goodbyes for the night and got ready to go to bed. Miyu insisted on using the bathroom last to avoid any further waiting for Saitama. As Saitama was in the bathroom, Genos arranged the futons around the table while Miyu cleaned the dishes.
Saitama slept by the patio door, as usual. Genos moved his futon closer to his as he placed Miyu’s futon where his used to be. After a while, the three soon went to bed, accepting their new routine. They all weren’t sure how things were gonna go, but there was a sense of comfort. It didn’t take too long for them to go to sleep, and Miyu’s week of break soon went by quickly.

"Heya Sugar~ stop on on by!"
Hey people of the internet! Do you want to know what your favourite games would be like a yandere?
No? Then go away lmfao.
Fandoms I do at behind the cut!
Types of writing:
Headcannons
thoughts on what the character is like as a yandere, what they do ect.
Scenario
Headcannons but specifically based on a theme (ex, what they are like before and after kidnapping you, what would they do if you had a girl/boyfriend.)
Oneshot
Self explanatory, a single story.
Rules:
Plots must have some sort of yandere theme to them
(Eg. Character kidnapping you , realising they have feelings for you , what type of person they want)
Must specify if you want it to be a oneshot or headcannons.
(If you don't I'll just do HC.)
No underage / aging up.
(Both you and character being the same age is fine, as long as they act adult / im comfortable writing for.)
No NSFW, I suck at writing it :P
(though I will suggest it.)
No kinks or fetishes.
(Ew)
I write faster if I'm given a plot
because then I know exactly what to write, if ya know what I mean.
No yandere x oc
(this is a x reader only)
No yandere x yandere
(whats the point)
No character x yandere
(you being a yandere is wierd)
No trauma dumping
(I am not your therapist and I do not care about you)
No Matchups
(I write my work to be enjoyed by everyone. Not just one person. Also look at the rule above)
I do put triggers at the top of the writing, though I might miss something.
Call me Plague, or Moxxi :)

True Self [Genos x OC]
Tumblr media
Ch. 3 | ~Accustomed Conditions~ (random pt. seg.)
He nodded and said, “Yes.” Checking his sensors, he made sure there was nothing harmful nearby. When he was sure that they were safe, he continued on with their conversation. “When it came to the deaths, I witnessed a young child face his dead mother’s body.” Genos shook his head in disappointment. “He had to see his family member’s dead body at such a younger age. That’s not an ideal thing to deal with. Aside from the boy, there was this other guy who expressed deep pain though I could not relate to him. My Master seemed to sympathize with him though.”
“That sounds like a heavy mission to deal with.. I can’t imagine- well, i can-” she sputtered. “Like, I can think about how they felt when they lost their loved one, but the pain and sorrow they felt must’ve been unimaginable. I wouldn’t want to experience that. It’s honestly one of the harshest things you can wish upon someone.”
“It’s a big theme in your mangas.” Genos brought up. “I can see that connection is important and keeping those important to you close as well.”
“It is..” she sighed with a saddened tone. “I know that the world is never just black and white and that there’s always a gray, but do you ever think we’ll be completely safe from these monsters?”
“I don’t think so, but I can try to make you feel safe.” he responded as honestly as he could.
“Thank you.” she said with a softened smile, but it didn’t stay on her face for too long. “So you had a bunch of negatives today?” she asked.
Again, he shook his head. “No, I don’t think so. Although I don’t like getting torn up, it does allow me to get more upgrades and see Doctor Kuseno.”
“So you got to see him today? How did that go?” Miyu’s tone shifted a bit. It wasn’t too noticeable, but he noticed.
“Yes, I told him basically the same things that I told you, only more.”
Her eyes widened in disbelief. “So you gave him more details about the whole mission and not me?”
Shaking his head, again, he lifted a hand to sway, signaling her she was wrong. “No, you see, I mentioned you to him to catch him up on life as well.”
       “Ohh. What’d you say?”
He began to ramble to her. “I talked about our first meeting and how I got to meet you. I brought up how my Master--” he stopped talking as he noticed her moving her hands in a disapproving manner.
“Genos!!” Miyu whined and huffed. “You don’t have to start from the beginning with me. I’m always going to remember our meeting. Just tell me the details I don’t know.” she asked in a lighthearted tone.
“I told Doctor Kuseno about how I befriended you and such. He also wanted to learn more about you, like how you look. So naturally, I  told him about your dark brown hair, brown eyes, somewhat spiked bangs, height of 5’4”, and so on. I also talked about your personality.”
“That’s nice.” She looked up at the sky for a bit then back at him. “I guess I somewhat talked about you at work too.” she added on.
       “How’d that go?”
Miyu shrugged. “I mean, it’s more like they were wondering if you were going to show up again. You know you’re pretty famous, right?”
“Yes, and I can see that from the amount of mail I get too.” Genos dismissed the thought of it. “They’re all mainly based on my photo and not an actual evaluation of me.”
An idea came to her head. Miyu lifted her index finger and pointed up. “How about this!”  she started off. “What if I organized your guys’ fan mail?” she suggested.
He shook his head. “I’d see no point in you doing that, Miyu. My fan mail has been consistently the same. As for Master Saitama, he doesn’t really get mail.”
Miyu pouted. “Well, that's not fair..” she then sighed in disappointment. “I’m trying to think of more ways that I could help you guys out.” she turned her head to the side to avoid eye-contact. “My hours got cut, so I’ve been wondering what I should do.”

True Self [Genos x OC]
Tumblr media
Ch.1 | ~The Task~ (pt. 2)
“Yes, Master?”
“I want to read damn it!” he whined.
Genos gave in and slid the mangas to him. “You’ll probably learn faster than me.” he admitted his defeat as he watched Saitama indulge into reading. As he read the first volume, Genos pulled out his journal. He wrote down about each volume’s art cover. Each one was unique and conveyed different emotions from determination to a certain goal and closeness between others.
“This manga is good!” he shouted.
Without another word, Genos prepared his futon to go to bed as he knew his master would just read the rest of the night. Wondering about his progression to more strength, he had his doubts on whether he’ll even improve. He wanted to get stronger and to be like his master, Saitama. Aside from that, he still had that goal of terminating that cyborg that killed his family and town. However, it seemed like that’ll all have to wait for he knew that it would take a while.
The next day, the two of them woke up to some sort of earthquake that was rumbling, or so it seemed. Genos placed his hand down to get a better feel on what was going on as he used his sensors. He sensed 4 figures quickly heading towards their direction. He warned Saitama about what was ahead as he jumped out from the patio. Carefully landing as best as he could, he cracked the floor when falling. His impact when making contact was too much for the floor to handle.
Genos looked up and found himself against a camel cricket, buff ladybug, and yet another mosquito mutation. He wasted no time and raised his arm to aim his blasters from his palms. “There was another. Where did they go?” he firmly asked as his blasters slowly lit up, ready to fire.
The camel cricket snickered. “Well, well. It’s not like we need to tell you, do we?” it chuckled cockily. Its irises shrunk, showing it had no intention of backing down. It jumped high to the walls and moved swiftly to different directions. Thankfully, it wasn’t as fast Sonic.”You humans have killed off us insects for far too long!”
“Tch.. Incinerate!” he yelled as he shot his blasters at the camel crick, but it didn’t go make contact with the mutated bug. The large ladybug blocked it with its elytra. “Damn pests!”
The buff ladybug laughed at the blonde cyborg’s attempt. “Foolish of you to try to set fire against us with this hard shell of mine!” it cocked. It’s voice was rather deep but had this goofy male tone with some femininity aspects It flew down with its closed wings to try to land on Genos head on, only to have him parry to the side.
From behind, the large mosquito swung its proboscis from behind. It slashed part of his shirt. “You don’t seem to have any blood, do you now?” it asked rhetorically.
Genos turned to run up the wall before the mosquito had the chance to pierce through him. He didn’t want to let Doctor Kuseno repair him so soon, especially in such a mediocre fight. Glaring at the creatures, feeling displeased. Patiently waiting for them to lunge at his direction, he calculated their movements strategically. Waiting for the moment of opportunity, he focused his attention to seem like he was watching the ladybug to trick the others that he had let his guard down.
The camel cricket pounced at him. Its claws moved forward as it tried aiming at the cyborg’s center, but Genos had anticipated it to an extent. He jumped and stomped on its abdomen, giving him a boost forward as he focused his attention to land a hard roundhouse kick at the strong ladybug.
The ladybug slid across the cement, leaving a trail as it went through the floor. It looked up at Genos angrily as he noticed him running to his direction at full force. Its femurs enlarged themselves as it seemed to bulk up its legs. Its sharp end thrusted to hit the persistent cyborg. However, Genos had grabbed the camel cricket’s leg from behind and swung it at the ladybug, making its blood splatter. The ladybug’s eyes widened and yelled, “You can’t get through me!” as it looked up at the mosquito, smirking.
The blonde cyborg took notice of its eyes' direction and briefly looked up. He was about to parry, but the ladybug smacked him to the side and made him hit a wall. He twitched as he carefully got himself out of the wall’s crease quickly before the large bugs could strike. As he watched the robust ladybug ram itself into the wall, he saw how it kept its feet down to have a piercing landing. It didn’t open its elytra because it was protecting its abdomen. Knowing this information, he made sure to keep the large mosquito at a far enough distance to give me some time.
“I do believe in survival of the fittest, but you won’t rule over us.” Genos told them firmly as he started blasting his hands at the mosquito flying around. “Incinerate!” He then noticed the ladybug was charging at him, The blonde cyborg smirked confidently as he flipped forward, making the bug run right under him. He quickly turned to hop onto it and began to heave at its elytra and soon yanked it off completely.
“AGH!!!” the ladybug screeched in pain out loud. Its legs shrunk and its wings began to appear more dense. It appeared to be transferring its strength to different parts of its body.
The mosquito made one last attempt to save its accomplice. It went towards Genos like a drill. “Bzzt!” It buzzed.
The cyborg looked behind him and calculated its speed. He gritted his teeth as he stepped to the side and sliced the mosquito’s proboscis. “You surely aren’t part of the House of Evolution.” he sneered.
The flying pest’s eyes widened in shock and fear. He quickly started flying away. “It’s not the e--!” it stopped yelling before it could finish it’s sentence.
Saitama came out and joined the fight. He looked at the mosquito with a dull expression. His hand was at the ready as he moved it back to get a proper thrust. “Mosquitos.. Suck!” he said before doing the final blow as the bug splattered its blood everywhere.
Genos soon dropkicked the ladybug’s wings, making them shatter into pieces. With the bug’s abdomen finally exposed, he raised both his arms up and held his hands together, lowering them down full force onto it. Finally, their extermination was over. He looked back at the bald man, who was flicking the bug blood off his gloves. “Sensei, these insects were strong, but not compared to the ones we fought before.”
“Huh.” he stared. “Oh! Like that Mosquito Girl I slapped when I found you.” he pointed out.
“Yes, exactly that.”
Saitama shrugged as he felt indifferent. “It is a problem, but they don’t seem to be as strong for now.” he then started walking away and motioning his disciple to follow. “We need to do our work out now.”
Genos obediently followed and jogged up to him to catch up. “Of course.” he responded.
They did the tedious training that Saitama had called intense. The 100 pushups, done. 100 sit-ups, done. 100 squats, done. All there was left was the 10km run left to do. Saitama had suggested that they run through the cities and make their way to that dirt track by the river where Sneck had attempted to do rookie crush him. The two headed to the river and ran around it until it was over.
Towards the end, out in the distance, Genos saw someone running in a hurry. He squinted for a bit only to see that it was Miyu. “Hey!” he yelled out to her to get her attention.
Miyu briefly looked back and saw the blonde cyborg calling out to her. Feeling uncomfortable and rushed, she dismissed him with no response and continued on her way with her stuff at hand. She felt this heavy weight weighing her down since her clothes were practically drenched. As she ran, she hoped for her clothes to dry sooner to feel less sticky.
Saitama turned his head to face where Genos’ attention was at. “Oi, who’re you yelling to?”
“It’s the new worker I was telling you about, Master” he replied.
The bald man’s eyes lit up with excitement as his fists by his chests shook. “The one with good taste?” he asked as he looked at her. Saitama noticed her clothes and the luggage and looked at her dumbfoundedly. “What an odd one she is.” he commented. “Oh! Genos!” he clapped his hands together as he had an idea. “Go get udon right now. Eating hot food when it’s hot tests your endurance!” he suggested. “Buy me one too.” Internally, he felt proud. To him, Genos had finally found something to learn that didn’t involve him too much, just a push. He then walked away and headed to King’s place.
“Master, what will you do?” Genos asked with slight concern, “What about your food?”
“I have a pressing matter to attend.” he lied as his true intent was to play video games. Saitama waved his hand back at him. “Just put it in the fridge for me or leave it at the table.” he said as he ran.
Genos watched him run off. He felt proud that his master was going after pressing matters. It was only fair for him to do the errands when he had nothing else to do as Saitama went off to do “more important” things. He jogged his way over there to train his robotic body. Flying there with his blasters seemed like a waste of energy to his core.
Miyu entered the noodle shop and quickly went into the bathroom to change into her uniform. She placed her damp clothes into a plastic as she wringed her hair with her hands. Exiting the bathroom, she casted her luggage aside and began her shift as she took orders and gave out the food.
Not long since her shift had started, Genos had entered and sat down. This time, he didn’t sit by the luggage. He took notice that Miyu was focused and waited for his turn.
Soon after, she had arrived at his table. “Hey! What can I get you?” she asked as she avoided eye contact, knowing she had ignored him earlier.
“I’ll do the challenge again like yesterday and get some yaki udon to go.” he asked.
She gave an awkward gritted smile. “Right away.” she assured as she headed to the kitchen to give the order. Peering out from the kitchen’s doorway, she saw that there weren't anymore people coming in that hour. She helped out in the kitchen to cook the food.
Genos watched her from the kitchen’s window. He wondered if she wanted her stuff back or if there was a specific amount of time he had to borrow it. His sensors detected a few more people standing at the doorway. He listened carefully and noticed them pointing at Miyu’s luggage. Knowing Miyu was still cooking, he got up and just brought it to his table instead. Looking back, the others went away as they realized he noticed their intentions.
After a few minutes, Miyu came out with his food and reward money. “He--.”
He pushed the money back to her. “No, take it. I have a request and something to ask.”
Unsure of what he had to say to her, she jumped to conclusions and apologized, “I’m sorry for not waving back at you earlier. I was in a hurry.”
‘Why’s she apologizing about that?’ he thought to himself. He shook his head and looked her in the eyes firmly. “I want you to be my teacher too.”
She looked to his side and noticed her luggage was next to him rather than the other table. ‘.. Is manga that big of a passion for him?’ she wondered.
He noticed her eye’s attention on the luggage. “There were some people outside that wanted to steal it.”
A bit shocked, she felt touched that he decided to watch over her stuff. “Thank you, Genos.” She looked behind him to see if there was anybody coming in. Letting out a long sigh, she sat down and placed the money into her luggage. “What do you mean by teacher.?”
“You seem to know a lot about things that could be interpreted.” he said. “If I had known I was going to be here so early, I’d have brought a pen and journal.”
Miyu had a puzzled look on her face and fanned her hand at him. “I’m sorry, but to write things down?” she shook her head in disbelief. “If you’re gonna learn about these things, take it to the heart and mind. I think the only things that are worth writing about from these would probably be quotes or ideas for things you may wanna do for later. Think of it like inspiration”
“Miyu! Do you not see any customers coming in right now?” her boss asked.
“No, sir!” she responded.
“They all must be watching Sweet Mask’s sitcom that just aired. “ he commented.
She shrugged and replied, “I wouldn’t know.” As she rummaged through her luggage, she pulled out another manga and gave it to Genos. “Personally, I’d prefer you coming in when we’re about to close, but since we’re not as busy today, this is an exception. This is ‘Pink Innocent.’ It might be more girly though.”
“What about the others I borrowed?” he asked.
“Return them to me when you can. You said it yourself that you come here often. Just don’t go spilling soup all over it.” she growled at him.
He quickly consumed the food to begin reading. However, before he got the chance to, he received a from the Hero Association for a meeting. “Miyu, I’ll be back later to learn.” he gestured his hand at her luggage. “Do you need this to be watched?”
Miyu raised a brow but also felt guilty. “You really don’t need to..”
“I’m coming back later anyways. Besides, it’s something that shouldn’t be laying around where it could get stolen.”
She hesitantly nodded because he had a point. “Alright..”
From that day on, after doing his routine with Saitama, he headed to the udon shop to pick up her luggage and later returned it to her for a manga session after hours. The two became acquainted with each other to an extent and Genos shared how he became a cyborg. It was rather intriguing, but it made her concerned.
As Miyu cleaned the tables and moved the chairs around, she heard footsteps. She looked up at the door. “Hi, Genos.” she welcomed him with a smile.
“Hello.” he greeted back as he took a seat at one of the tables.
After finishing the rest of the tables, chairs, and kitchen, she sat down across from him. “Let’s read.” she said happily.

True Self [Genos x OC]

True Self [Genos x OC]

Ch. 2 |  ~To Avail~ (pt. 1)
The infestation of mutated bugs hadn’t lightened up. For the past few weeks, the Hero Association had been announcing constant threat levels of both Wolf and Tiger. Many C-Class Superheroes had gathered together to form teams to take on the threats since they weren’t strong enough to encounter an enemy on their own. Although the threats were easy to maintain, there were too many popping up to a point that it all became tedious.
The higher ranked classes didn’t see any point in intercepting as it didn’t seem like much of a big deal. They all either dismissed it or took action if an enemy came in their way. To most, they viewed the main issue as more of an inconvenience rather than an actual problem.
Though there were a lot of mutated bugs, not all seemed to have brought harm to society. The Hero Association may have sent out many announcements, but there were also just large bugs that just acted like ordinary bugs. This, of course, wasn’t good news for those that weren’t fond of critters. It was more anxiety inducing to see them.
Saitama would often have some fun with the situation. With the large bugs roaming around, he would often ride some to maneuver around to take on those that were actual threats. For some time, it brought him amusement, but it didn’t give him that excitement he chased after. All the creatures showing up were far too weak in comparison to him. There was no challenge.
Occasionally as Genos would watch his master with his antics and blast whatever creature he was on to bring him back down as there were more important things that needed to be done. The cyborg knew that not all were bringing destruction, but they were disturbing the peace. If all the mutants got used to being within the cities, they might unintentionally take over by inhabiting the area as they got accustomed to it.
Meanwhile with Miyu, she was in the forest. She wasn’t able to pay the cities rents since they were too expensive with her pay. When it came to things like cleaning, she would go to a spring and hoped for the best as she rubbed flowers against her clothes, hair, and body in the water. She always brushed her teeth at the public bathrooms back at the city, which she didn’t mind too much. However, the long way back was the issue. It took too much time and energy, which caused her to be sleep deprived and exhausted a majority of the time throughout her shift.
With all the announcements that the Hero Association gave to the public, she was sure to be cautious during her travels back and forth. Luckily, she’d only seen harmless ones like giant butterflies. Miyu didn’t mind it too much as long as she wasn’t in a close enough distance to touch her. They were beautiful to look at, and she doubted that the ones she had encountered would really do her harm.
Miyu’s shift was about to start soon, but she was far too tired to go. Although she knew she needed the money for necessities like food, she didn’t have the strength to go. She looked at the path that she usually went and groaned out loud as she knew she also had to drag her luggage around. She didn’t trust leaving it anywhere in fear of it getting taken or destroyed by whatever was in the forest. She hazily began walking off.
At the udon shop, Genos had arrived for part of his daily routine other than the workouts. He noticed he didn’t see Miyu during his run, so he assumed that she was inside already since she was at times, but she didn’t seem to be there. He asked the owner if she had a day off and she forgot to tell him or something.
Her boss shook his head and informed him that she hadn’t shown up at all. He soon called on the phone for another worker to take over her shift. “I don’t understand why she’s late.” he commented. “She said she would work everyday, but she probably needed a day off. It’s not like Miyu can call in though.”
“Why can’t she?” the blonde cyborg asked curiously.
“The girl doesn’t own a phone, so we can’t contact her.” he shrugged.
Genos looked down and placed his metal fingers on his chin to lightly rest on as he thought to himself. He did notice Miyu being sluggish in the recent days, but he didn’t think too much about it at first. Now that she’s late, it did bring some concern. He decided to wait out at the door frame for a bit. He laid his back against the wall and placed one leg up behind lightly as he crossed his arms.
As Miyu made her way, she felt the sweat dripping off of her body. From her head to lower body, she felt disgusted with how sticky she felt. Up ahead, she could see Genos waiting for her at the entrance. She gave out a heavy sigh as she knew that he waited for quite a while.
He looked to the side and saw Miyu riding her luggage as if it was some ride. His eyes and eyebrows slightly twitched from not understanding her strange behavior. Genos stood still as he kept his eye on her, waiting for her to catch up. When she got to a close enough distance, she smacked her luggage to roll next to him. Genos’ eyes widened as she had never done that before.
Miyu walked in all drowsy and apologized to her boss. She then asked, “What about my shift.?”
He shook his head. “You don’t seem all too well. I think it’s best that you take a few days off.” her boss suggested.
She felt shakened a bit from the thought. “But--.”
He raised a stopped hand sign and interrupted her before she could say anything. “I get that your financial situation isn’t the best right now, but you seem to need it.” He noticed her distressed expression. “I don’t intend on firing you given the amount of hours you do and someone had just quit recently. How about I give you at least a week off? If you go any longer than that, then there’d be an issue.” he suggested for her.
Miyu hesitantly agreed and nodded, “Okay..” She walked outside and saw Genos was still there, now standing next to her. She looked up at him with her tired eyes and squeamish smile since she was dissatisfied with the day.
Genos noticed the eye bags under her eyes. “You’re tired.” he pointed out.
“Yeah, I am.” she said bluntly.
“What’d your boss say?” he asked her.
“That I’m off for a week.” she told him.
He raised his brows. “Well, that’s good for you. You can go home now to rest.”
Miyu looked at him and froze for a bit. He slightly tilted his head, waiting for her to respond. She looked back at the direction she came from and began to internally scream. “Ugh.!” she wailed out loud as she collapsed onto her knees.
He offered his hand out to her. “Is there a problem?” he asked, again.
She glared a bit but quickly shook off her expression. Miyu looked at his metallic hand for a bit. Her stare went from his fingers to up to his shoulder. ‘I wonder if it hurt..’ she thought as she placed her hand onto his to help her get up. She then dusted off some dirt and groggily sighed, “Too far..”
Genos pulled out a flyer and showed it to her. “I must attend to this.” he said as he showed her.
Miyu looked at the flyer intently and took it from his hands to look closely. It was about bargaining discounts at the supermarket. “Oh..” she yawned, “That’s today.?”
Yes, you can come if you want.” he told her as he took the flyer back.
She looked behind her then back at him and nodded. “Might as well.” she agreed as she lazily dragged her luggage around as she followed him to the supermarket.
“My Master hates missing out on such sales.”
Miyu squinted her eyes at him. “You’re always talking about how great this ‘Master’ of yours is, yet it sounds like a kink at times.” she laughed to herself.
“No, you’re misunderstanding what I say, just like him. Great minds surely do think alike.” he compared both Saitama and Miyu.
“No, I don’t think that’s the case here. I’m literally just trying to help you understand easy themes.” she disagreed with him.
“You call it easy because it comes naturally to you.” he pointed out.
She facepalmed, practically tired of trying to explain to him after the past time. After a while, her legs slowly began to give up. “I’m tired.” she complained.
“Do you need assistance?” he asked as he walked back to her.
Feeling weirded out a bit and uncomfortable, Miyu shook her head as she sat down on her luggage. “Just for a bit.” she pleaded.
He proceeded to go up to her and push the luggage with one hand. “You’ll slow us down if this continues.” he commented nonchalantly.
“H-Hey! No.!!” Miyu whined. “Don’t push it while I’m on it.!” she begged him as her face turned red from embarrassment.
Genos stopped and looked at her since he didn’t fully understand. “You’re in need of aid though.” he pointed out.
“And I thought you were learning from me?” she asked sarcastically. “Like- it feels weird. We’re not close or anything. I know more about you than you know of me, and I thought we’re more of a teacher student kind of thing.”
“My Master told me to live like my age. Given the material you’ve given me to read, I can count you as a friend of some sort? The reliable one.”
She raised a brow and said, “But you haven’t known me long.”
“And in some of those mangas, those characters didn’t know each other for long.” he rebutted, proving her wrong.
Her mouth shifted to the side awkwardly as she avoided eye contact. Miyu soon snapped her fingers when she thought of something. “Again, you don’t know much about me.”
Genos looked ahead as she got up from her stuff. “Then why don’t you share more? It might make you more comfortable.”
“Fine.” Miyu began walking ahead while doing jazz hands and motioned him to follow her. “Let’s go somewhere else for now if that’s the case. That sale doesn’t end ‘till 8pm.”
Genos followed her, confused on what she had planned. “Are you not tired?” he wondered.
“You honestly put me in such a shock earlier than I have enough energy to at least last me this day.” she awkwardly laughed it off as the blood that rose to her face slowly faded. Her face was still pink to a noticeable degree, so when Genos caught up to her, she looked the other way to make sure he wouldn’t see. “If your master told you to go act like your age, then we’re going somewhere.”
“And where do you intend on making us go?”
She shrugged back at him and replied, “I don’t know.”
“You can’t say that we’re going somewhere without a destination.”
“Yeah.” she scoffed. “You can.” Miyu waved her hand slowly in front of his face. “Want me to sound sophisticated? Hm? Then- the future is an enigma.” she said with an upfront yet sarcastic attitude.
Genos nodded slowly as he followed her. He tried keeping up with her pace regarding topics. Miyu would often say one thing and then another the next second. It was a lot for him to process since her behavior seemed more unpredictable than Saitama’s. Though she was tired, she kept going on about how it was important to enjoy places or try to have fun.
The two went around some of the cities. Genos would give descriptions about some of the places that Miyu would point out and question since she wasn’t familiar with a majority of them. He continued to give as much information to what he knew, which was overwhelming. Miyu found it unnecessary, but she let it pass by since she got to learn things too.
It didn’t take too long for them to realize that the supermarket’s discount sale’s end was nearing. They headed to the supermarket to take advantage of the lower prices. Genos looked at the list he had written down and also remembered some other things to pick up since they were so last minute.
“What are you doing?” Miyu asked as she peered his side.
“I’m checking if there’s anything else I need to get before I head back.”
She shook her head in disbelief and placed some coupons into his hand. “Use these.” she told him.
Genos noticed she wasn’t carrying much and questioned her, “Shouldn’t you get more items than that?”
Miyu averted her eyes and stuttered, “T-To be honest.. I don’t really have a place to go to..”
His eyes widened. “Then where have you been going whenever we part ways after our lessons?”
“Ahaha..” she laughed awkwardly. “Yeah- about that.. I kinda.. Go to that forest nearby.”
“I think you need to explain more later.” Genos looked her straight in the eyes firmly without breaking eye contact. “You seem to need more help than I thought.”
Miyu tucked in her lips since she had been quiet about the situation for some time. “I’m sorry..” she apologized.
He shook his head and said, “Master Saitama would surely understand.”
“What’re you talking about?” she yawned.
Genos didn’t talk any further as he focused on the remaining time they had left before the sale was over. Admittedly, he was disappointed with her to an extent. She should’ve at least said something sooner. When he got everything they needed, he made sure she was keeping up with his pace.
As they headed to City Z, Miyu began explaining to him that it didn’t seem right for her to open up about her issue at hand. It didn’t sit right with her that she was getting all the help she was getting from Genos after just meeting him a few weeks ago for the sake of shoujo manga learning purposes. Although he insisted that aid can be found from the empathy of those that understood and have been in that situation, he felt guilty.
“Why’d you leave your town?” he asked curiously. Genos noticed that she had a pretty durable luggage. “You seemed to be financially okay before.”
Miyu yawned, again. Her eyesight seemed to be weary from pushing herself for so long. She waved it off. “Mm.? Egh..” she sneered in disgust. “It’s weird and gross in my opinion. My family basically wanted me to have an arranged marriage..” She shook her head since the idea bothered her. “I didn’t want that, so I left.”
Genos kept silent as he had nothing to respond with to that. He couldn’t relate or fully knew the whole story. He could tell that she clearly didn’t like it though, so he didn’t ask anymore details about it. “About the forest, we’ll get back to that. You’re far too tired to talk more.”
She nodded as her eyes slowly started to struggle to stay open. “Yeah..” she sighed.
They soon approached the door and Genos knocked, signaling Saitama that he had arrived. Though he had brought more than his master would’ve expected, he was sure he could find something to explain about. Footsteps grew closer and the door soon opened.
Saitama opened the door and was somewhat shocked. He was pleased with more groceries, but he didn’t understand why Genos had brought a girl over. He looked at Miyu for a bit and realized that it was the new worker that the blonde cyborg was borrowing manga from. “Oh!” He pointed at her with an amused expression. “It’s that worker you were talking about.” he said with a calm tone as he looked at Genos.
Miyu squinted as she looked at Saitama. She wasn’t sure if her eyes were playing tricks or not. As she looked at the man’s face, she couldn’t help but look at his bald head. She, too, pointed back at him and drowsily said, “Egg..” before passing out.
Genos quickly caught Miyu and held her by the shoulders to keep her standing. “Master, this is Miyu, the worker that owns all those mangas.” he looked at his master only to see his face in shock.
The bald man stared at her, unable to utter a word. He frowned as he was offended by the new unexpected guest that his disciple had brought to their home. He was about to ask why she had knocked out, but he couldn’t help but be bothered by her comment. He knew she was referring to his features. He glared for a bit and muttered, “There’s nothing wrong with my head..” Saitama then turned his attention to the blonde cyborg that had brought her there in the first place. “If you’re going to be bringing girls over, I’m gonna make you move out.”
“That’s not the case, Master. I barely know much, but apparently she’s been in the forest.” Genos walked in carefully and placed her onto his futon for the meantime. He then began putting the groceries away and started to cook for both him and his master.
Saitama trotted into the kitchen with widened eyes as he pointed at the living room, where they usually do everything in. “What’re we going to do about a sleeping woman in the place?!” he whispered to Genos in distress.
Genos continued to unload the abundant amount of groceries. “I’m not too sure.” he admitted. Noticing the dissatisfaction in his master’s face, he pulled out the coupons that Miyu had given him back at the supermarket. “She helped save us more money than usual.”
“Ooh! That’s a good thing.” Saitama looked back at the living room again and shook his head. “That’s not enough with 3 people in this small apartment.”
He thought about it for a bit as he gave him his dinner for the night. The two of them sat down in the hallway and ate their food. After some silence had passed, Genos had offered to pay some extra rent for a bit and suggested that Miyu do most of the household related work when they were away to get things done faster. Saitama slowly nodded since it didn’t seem as bad of an idea, but it all depended on Miyu ultimately.
When Saitama was finished, he went into the living room, unfazed. He wasn’t going to not sleep in his own futon in his own place. He quickly picked it up and moved it closer to the front door to get away from the strange girl. “It smells a lot like leaves in here.” He quietly opened the patio door a bit to let some air in as the night passed.
The next day, Miyu woke up and stretched her arms out. She lightly rubbed her eyes and turned to her right and saw both Saitama and Genos staring back at her on the other side of the table. It surprised her enough to move back to the wall in shock. She looked around and noticed that they were in a small, compact apartment.
Genos left some fruits on the table for her to eat for breakfast since they were good for her health. Since Miyu was so sleep deprived with a practically physically worn out body, he thought some sugar in her system would’ve been best for her to consume.
Miyu gratefully thanked him and began eating, but she could feel the awkward atmosphere. She had accidentally made eye contact with Saitama and quickly looked in the other direction to avoid making things weirder.
Saitama soon broke the silence as he couldn’t take it anymore. “You made my apartment smell too much like nature.” he told her straightforwardly while pointing with a bored expression. “You need to shower.”
Her face turned red from embarrassment. “I’m sorry about that..” she apologized as she awkwardly scratched the back of her head.
“Master Saitama is busy and would want you to have an explanation shortened to be 20 words or less.” Gentos explained to her.
Miyu looked at him with a confused expression then at Saitama. Her eyes’ focus alternated for a bit as she wasn’t fully comprehending everything since she had just woken up. “What am I supposed to explain.?” she sheepishly whispered to Genos.
‘Why’s she whispering?’ Genos wondered as he didn’t understand why she was acting in such a way. She was still loud enough for Saitama to hear. He heard her from across the table, so of course his master, who was right next to him, heard as well. He assumed it was some social cue test from the manga lessons and went along with it. He raised a hand up by his face to make somewhat of a wall by Saitama’s side and used his regular voice saying, “Your forest situation.”
Miyu made an “O” with her mouth as she understood and did a slow nod. She turned her focus onto the bald man and once again got distracted by the top of his head. “I- uh..”
Saitama noticed her eyes’ stare. He looked at her firmly with a somewhat done smile and a vein popping out of my head. “I get it. I’m bald! I stressed myself out from so much working out that all my hair came out!” he exclaimed. “I’m not old too, so don’t even try calling me old!”

True Self [Genos x OC]
Tumblr media
Ch.1 | ~The Task~ (pt. 1)
There  haven’t been any recent attacks lately within the city. There’s been a suspicious amount of time of peace. This didn’t sit well with Genos as he had thought that something would soon emerge out of the ground, or some unknown species from another planet would attempt to take over. The cities A-Z not being under attack seemed more concerning to him. ‘Is there some sort of invasion coming up ahead?’ he thought to himself as he let his thoughts wonder.
Saitama had been watching tv longer than usual. He didn’t bother doing any so-called “hero” work as no monsters or villains have shown up. To him, the small crimes like stealing purses and shoplifting weren’t much of a challenge or worth his time. Plus, he knew the struggle of meeting weekly report deadlines for C-Class Superheroes. It was especially harder for them to meet that cut off point during these times since there weren’t as much high stakes.
The two of them have been in the apartment together more lately due to their circumstances. Aside from lazing around, Saitama would always keep up his work out regimen. Genos would follow along with it in hopes of becoming as strong as him, even though he still thought it was full of crap, but he believed his master was wise and knew best.
Aside from working out, Genos would take account of the bald man’s habit of reading manga. With his excessive amount, he assumed that his master had learned many things from there. His workout routine didn’t explain much about his impeccable strength for just a punch. Perhaps that was it. Maybe the mangas were the answer. It made sense for him since that’s all Saitama ever did in the apartment. He either watched or read, and he had an abundant amount of manga in the bookshelf. He stared at the manga as he rested his face on the palm of his hand, elbow supporting the weight as it was on the table.
Not long after, Saitama got up from watching to grab one of his manga. He looked within his bookshelf and grabbed one that caught his eye. An amused smile came across his face as he pulled it out then sat down across from Genos. He hummed as he got into the story. He flipped through the pages and made inhumane noises at some points, rooting for the characters, or being amused by actions. At some point, he looked up and caught Genos staring intensely at him. He then lifted the manga up higher to cover his face as the cyborg made him uncomfortable. He didn’t understand why he was being looked at that way, and sweat began to drip off his head excessively. Saitama took one quick peek at Genos one more time and quickly averted his eyes after realizing he was still staring.
Minutes had passed and Saitama had enough. He closed his manga and slammed it onto the table, giving the cyborg his full attention. “So Genos..” he awkwardly initiated, “..what are you thinking about now?”
“Master! I now understand how you’ve attained your immense strength!” Genos exclaimed with confidence.
Saitama squinted in disbelief. He had told the young man what he did many times. 100 pushups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10km everyday should do the trick. He had stated that that was all he did for a few years, but it seemed the cyborg still believed that there was more to it. He blew out some air with a whistle and replied, “Do you now, Genos? What might that be?”
He pointed at his manga shelf behind him. “It’s your mangas!” he insisted. “There’s surely plenty of things in them that you learn from.”
Internally, the man felt dumbfounded, but he went with it. Though he regretted taking him in as a disciple, he did enjoy the blonde cyborg’s company. However, he never really knew what to teach him because he truly didn’t have anything to teach, so he often made something up. “Oh, of course, Genos!” he went along with it. “There’s many things to learn from them.” The bald man then proceeded to skim through pages of his book for action scenes to show his disciple.
Genos nodded in agreement as he tried analyzing each image in depth. “May I use this as study material?”
Saitama froze as he slowly looked behind him to look at his manga with concern. Knowing his disciple, he knew he would take them all too seriously, some of which weren’t even action too. He had a selection of various genres, but they mainly consisted of action and slice of life. “Sure..” he allowed Genos to go through his mangas as he slid the one he was reading to him.
One by one, Genos went through his mangas. At times, when he finished, he would go outside to practice some of the moves he had seen. He’d often successfully do these skills after trying it once or a few times. It didn’t take long for him to finish reading all of Saitama’s action-based mangas. All there was left now were the others, including the slice of life ones. He had often seen his master read them when he was relaxed, but it seemed like there was more to it. Perhaps other than strength, he gained wisdom from these ones specifically?
The cyborg was determined to learn from these slice of life manga, but he couldn’t fully understand what the point was for them and asked the bald man for guidance. “Master, I don’t really see why you read these.” he commented.
At last, something for Saitama to give bullshit advice about, normal life. He lifted his fists up with confidence and exclaimed, “You see, Genos, that’s what you’re lacking! Knowing how to live normally on a day to day kind of lifestyle is good for the mind!” He internally happily cried as he finally found something he could genuinely try to teach his disciple. He then lowered his tone to sound more calm yet seemingly serious and said, “There’s more to life than training, you know.” He thought that surely this task would be easy.
Genos placed his cold, metal hand on his chin and looked down on the table, just thinking. “Doctor Kuseno had built my body to be able to function for a normal life though--” he was then interrupted by his master’s complaints.
“Ahh! No!! That’s not what I meant!” Saitama whined as he placed his hands on his cheeks and tightly drooped them down out of frustration. He then pointed at him fiercely. “I mean you need to live like your age! Yeah! Something like that!”
The cyborg quickly wrote down what his master had said, but didn’t write as much as he usually did. He looked back up at him to hear more, only to find him shaking his head. “And?” he asked as he anticipated more words of wisdom.
Saitama’s eyes widened but still stared at Genos blankly, thinking how dense he could possibly be with social related things. “Genos!” He got up from the table and grabbed him by the arm to drag him out of the apartment. “Out! You idiot! Go!” he kicked him out the door and slammed it shut. With a sigh of, he smiled and raised his arms ecstatically. A day without dealing with Genos’ questions sounded relieving. As he walked back to the living room, he noticed one of his beloved books were missing. Bending over to check under the table, it wasn’t there. A vein popped out of his forehead out of irritation as he made his way back to the front door. As he opened it swiftly, he looked down and noticed Genos sitting down reading. He took it out of his hands immediately and glared muttering, “I thought I told you to go..”
Genos’ eyes averted from his master’s as he awkwardly got up and went away to roam around the city. He pondered and found himself deep in thought. “Shoujo manga..” he muttered to himself. Not long after, he himself got irritated as he placed both hands behind his head and bent back a bit to look up and get a deep breath but not let out a big sigh.
After walking aimlessly, Genos had found himself at the udon shop that he and his idiotic yet wise master had went to after their first training session together. A sense of relief went through him as he entered. The familiarity the place gave him allowed him to expect whatever could’ve possibly come. When he entered, he noticed that it was more packed than usual, which was odd.
The only seat that was left had luggage by the table. The owner of the place insisted that no one was sitting there at all and assured Genos it was alright for him to sit there. He nodded in agreement as he trusted the man’s words and sat down. Soon after, he was greeted by a new staff member. They caught his attention since he’s never seen them before. He kept an eye on her. She looked quite frantic, probably because of all the customers that were there that day. “Hi there! What can I get you?” she kindly asked him.
Genos raised his hand up and said, “I can eat somewhere else.” he insisted.
“Do you not like the food here?” she awkwardly asked.
He shook his head and replied, “It seems too busy here. I’d be causing more trouble for the staff.”
She waved her hands. “No, no. It’s really okay. Trust me.” the girl urged with her brows furrowing with concern.
“Miyu!” the owner called out to her. “We have more of the orders ready to give out!”
“Coming!” she looked at Genos and lifted a finger, then briefly apologized, “I’m sorry, but I’ll be right back with you.” Miyu quickly made her way to pick up the finished orders to bring them to their tables. She then returned back to Genos’ table and smiled. “Sorry if that took a while. What was it that you would like to order?”
“I’ll take the Super Spicy Mega-Monster Udon Challenge, please.” he requested.
Across the room, the owner spotted Miyu taking Genos’ order. “Oi, it’s Demon Cyborg again! Miyu, did he order our special udon challenge?”
‘Demon Cyborg?’ she thought as she looked down at Genos, a bit confused, then at her owner. Miyu stared at her boss, not understanding what he meant, and awkwardly nodded. “Yes.” she responded bluntly.
Her boss sighed as he placed his hands on the sides of his head and shook it. “Get over here, Miyu!”
Miyu went up to him in a hurry as she could tell that he was stressed out. “What is i--?”
He shoved the bucket of udon and reward money into her hands. “Someone else ordered it but wussed out. Go give it to Demon Cyborg, and here’s the money too. He always finishes it.” he said. As he watched her walk away to give the cyborg his food, he said one more thing. “Your shift ends after you give it to him. You’ve had a lot of commissions today, so you’re all set to go.
Her eyes lit up and her mood seemed to change. If someone paid attention, they would’ve noticed the difference. She let out a sigh of relief and happily gave the cyborg his food and reward money. “Here you go!” she said as she placed his items on the table. For a second she eyed at his reward money but shook her head. “Must be nice..” she said to herself. Right after doing that she asked, “Is it.. Alright if I sit in this seat right here?”
Genos shrugged. “I see no problem with it.” he answered.
“Thank you.” Miyu then plopped herself down onto the seat and began to open the luggage. She pulled out a manga and began reading intently, feeling relaxed.
When Genos finished, he felt more energized since he gave himself more biofuel. He was about to leave until he noticed what the girl was reading in front of him. “Is that a.. Shoujo manga?” he asked in awe.
Miyu looked up at him as she raised a brow. “Yeah, why?”
“I would like to read it.” Genos looked at her with confidence and waited for an answer as he gave her his full attention. Since his master had taken back the one he was reading, maybe he could possibly read from someone else.
She moved her book to the side a bit. “Why would you wanna read it?” Miyu was in disbelief that a boy was actually eager to read a shoujo manga. To her, he seemed like the serious type that didn’t really pay attention to such things.
“I wish to learn about life from it.” he told her.
A small smile came across her face from his answer. To her, he sounded determined yet genuine too. Miyu lifted the manga up to show him the cover. “This is a shoujo manga, but there’s also shounen aspects in it. There’s a lot of action in it where the characters fight these monsters and demons.” She explains some of the things that may interest him.
“Shounen in shoujo?” Genos asked puzzled. “That’s quite new.. But I don’t see why it can’t be a thing. He gently swatted his hand showing a dismissing manner. “I understand fighting and skills, but I want to learn about the other things in shoujo.”
“Demon Cyborg!” the shop owner called out to him.
“Yes?” he turned to look at him. When he did so, he noticed everyone else had already left. ‘Strange.. I wasn’t paying attention to my sensors. I shouldn’t be letting my guard down so easily.’ he thought to himself internally with shame.
“I respect all that you do, but we’re closing soon. I mean- you can stay all you want, but I would think you would prefer going home, yeah? A hero like you deserves the luxury of comfort.”
‘Hero?’ Miyu thought as she squinted her eyes as she looked at him. She did take note of his features, but she didn’t fully understand the whole thing. Doing awkward jazz hands, she made an offer, “If you want to continue this conversation, I can stay to talk and I’ll close up the shop.”
The blonde cyborg raised his hand. “No need for that. I’m sure you all need the luxury of your homes as well.” Genos got up from his seat and pushed it back to the table properly. He turned his head to look down at Miyu. “You can call me Genos.”
“I’m Miyu.” she properly introduced herself. “Genos, do you come here often?” Miyu asked curiously.
He looked to the side to think for a minute. “I guess you can say that. Why, Miyu?”
She rummaged through her luggage to pull out the other volumes. “Here.” she insisted on giving them. “Just promise to return them after you’re done reading, learning, or whatever.”
Genos slightly bowed and gratefully took them off her hands.”Thank you, I appreciate it.” He then dug into the pockets of his pants for the reward money and gave it to her in return. “Take this. I noticed that you glanced at them at some point. I assume you need it?”
Her eyes widened. “That’s your reward! Really, it’s okay!” she persisted, feeling guilty.
He placed it on the table. “I insist. You need it more than me.” he said. “Plus, you’re entrusting me with your knowledge. That’s fair.”
Miyu’s jaw dropped but she smiled and internally felt teary because it was true. “Thank you, Genos. I’m thankful.” She waved as she noticed him about to take off his leave. “Bye, see you soon!”
“Of course. You were quite nice if I might say.” He waved and gave her a small reassuring smile as he walked out. “By the way, you should keep smiling happily. I thought you looked nice.”
“I’m honestly really awkwa--!” Miyu paused after being caught off by his word. ‘Does he know social cues? Or is he really just that straightforward?’ She shook her head and placed her hand on her cheeks, feeling it tinge as it was slightly warm. She could tell she was somewhat pink, but it wasn’t noticeable unless someone went up to her face.
“That’s strange of him.” her boss commented.
She turned to look at him as she grabbed her luggage’s handle, ready to go. “What do you mean?” she asked.
“I don’t really see S-Class heroes from the Hero Association really socialize during their free time.” he answered, baffled.
Miyu shrugged and said, “I don’t know.” as she walked out of the shop with her stuff. She looked up at the udon shop’s sign then down at the money in her hands, which she held to her chest. She sighed and had a saddened look on her face. Without wasting any more time, she walked off.
Meanwhile, Genos walked back to his master’s apartment. He felt quite ecstatic since he had more material to study and learn from. If it wasn’t for Miyu’s kindness, he wouldn’t have gotten them. He was surprised by her generosity, but he surely wasn’t going to let it go to waste. When he arrived at his master’s place, he carefully knocked on the door and waited for him to open it.
Saitama soon opened the door looking like a bum. When he opened the door, he had this dull expression as he picked his nose with his pinky. He flicked his fingers to the side, making sure nothing was sticking to it. Before actually acknowledging his own disciple’s return, he noticed the mangas he was holding. “Ohh!” he gushed with amusement. “You got the Sakurahime The Legend of Princess Sakura volumes?! Where?!”
Genos walked in and made his way to the living room. “I got them at the udon shop we often go to.” he answered respectfully as he sat himself down to begin reading.
“Wow!” he gasped in surprise. “The udon shop sells manga now?”
“No, Master, you misunderstood.” he corrected him and said, “I borrowed them from one of the workers there.”
The bald man closed the door and made his way to the cyborg, crossing his arms. “A worker?”
“Yes, they had it in a luggage.”
Saitama spat a bit. “What a weird dude.”
“No, Master. They were actually quite kind.” he added, “She was new.”
“Oh, in her purse.” he commented bluntly. “She has taste.” he referred to her manga choice.
“No, Master, luggage.” he persisted.
“Shut up! You’re talking about purses! I know what I’m talking about.” he exclaimed stubbornly, believing he knew.
Genos rolled his eyes as he continued to read. With his sensors, he sensed his master not moving. He looked up from the book and noticed him looking at him with excitement. Feeling unsettled, he questioned him. “Yes?”
“I want to read!” Saitama shouted excitedly. “You have the physical copies right here, and I’m too lazy to search them up online.”
The cyborg glared a bit at the man’s laziness. “I must study first.” he told him.
Saitama’s shoulders drooped as he looked up at his ceiling, giving a heavy sigh, “Agh!” he then complained, “You’re gonna write a bunch of stuff into a journal though and take a long time!” He internally screamed as he knew Genos would analyze every single small detail to precision. He’ll take an image, action, or word and go into a deep depth with it. His intense analyses didn’t seem necessary to him, but he knew he couldn’t stop him. “Genos! Hey, Genos!” The bald man continued to persist. “Genos..”

Ch. 3 | ~Accustomed Conditions~ (random pt. seg.)
“You’re lawfully good, Genos. I know it wasn’t your intention for any of it to happen.” Doctor Kuseno knew that Genos constantly battled and challenged his opponents, but there was a part of him that was concerned about it. He knew Genos seeked vengeance, but he was reckless with his decisions. “Don’t be too reckless or hard on yourself. Even a boy like you has a life.”
Genos was stumped. He didn’t think of himself as a boy or human at that anymore. Ever since the incident happened with his hometown, he considered himself as a disposable cyborg. The only thing he wanted to do was destroy the cyborg that destroyed his hometown and murdered his family and to fight for justice. “I am one that helps the people. It is not fair for others to go through the same thing as me.”
“I understand.” Doctor Kuseno lifted his tools and began repairing Genos carefully. He then remembered about Genos’ master. “How is that master of yours, Genos?” he asked.
“Master Saitama has been generous. He allowed my new friend to live with us.”
His eyes widened a bit in surprise. “A new friend?” he smiled and continued working. “Tell me about this friend of yours.”
“My friend, Miyu, helps me learn things that those around my age do. At first, I just referred to her as a teacher, but she didn’t seem to appreciate that.” he explained. “It all started when Master had told me that more wisdom can be learned from mangas, especially in shoujo ones with their ‘slice-of-life’ themes. I later found myself going to the udon shop where we ate that one challenge together for the first time. Miyu was a worker there and I saw her take a manga out of her luggage. At the time, I didn’t think too much as to why she brought her luggage around to work, but I later learned that she had been living in the forest. Before finding that out though, when I met her at the udon shop, I asked her to help me understand shoujo manga better and how to act my age. It was only recently that I found out she had been living in the forest, and I brought her to my Master and asked if she could stay. Although I have to pay more rent for the both of us, I don’t mind it too much. When she started living with us, in the beginning, Maser didn’t appreciate it as much. Miyu took longer in the bathroom compared to him and she would be distracting with her music. She has this routine of listening to music on Master Saitama’s laptop and does other things as well. At times, she dances to them and such. She’s been at the apartment with us for a week now, and she just got back to work today.” he rambled.
Doctor Kuseno slowly nodded his head since it was a lot of information to take in. ‘His new friend is a girl?‘ he thought to himself. “She sounds nice,” he commented.
“Yes, she’s very nice.” Genos assured him. “She’s done a lot for Master Saitama and I.” he then remembered what his master had told him. “Doctor Kuseno, is it possible for me to get repaired by tonight?” he asked. “My Master wants me to be home by tonight because he doesn’t want to be alone with Miyu. I also have a manga session with her, and I don’t wish to be late. It’d be quite rude of me, but I also don’t mean to rush you, Doctor Kuseno.”
The doctor understood what Genos meant and told him that there was no need to worry about him being late. The repairs that he had to do on him weren’t too bad, which was a relief. He wanted to learn more about Miyu too, so he went on with the conversation. Doctor Kuseno was relieved that Genos had made a friend. Over the years, he worried about the boy’s obsession for vengeance, so he hoped his outlook on his life would change. “Why don’t you tell me more about her?” If you’re a reader, the rest of the chapter is on: https://www.quotev.com/story/13054954/True-Self-Genos-x-OC/3 or https://www.wattpad.com/955686507-true-self-genos-x-oc-chapter-3-accustomed If you want to read from the beginning, go here: https://www.quotev.com/story/13054954/True-Self-Genos-x-OC/1 or https://www.wattpad.com/950914960-true-self-genos-x-oc-chapter-1-the-task Please like and share! Ch. 3 | ~Accustomed Conditions~ (random pt. seg.)
Throughout the time they’ve spent together, they had gotten used to each other, for the most part at least. As Miyu asked Saitama for his permission to use his laptop, she frequently annoyed him in the beginning. She had often played music, which was distracting for him since he wanted to do things in peace in his own place. It didn’t take too long for her to notice, so she eventually got earbuds to listen to her music by herself, just getting lost into it.
The two of them were used to her actions. They had noticed Miyu’s pattern of how long she’d take to use the bathroom, when she would start cooking, or if she wasn’t mentally there because of her heavy focus. It didn’t bother them too much though, they all had their own things to attend to. However, there were changes that weren’t necessarily bad.
Either after any hero work or at night, Miyu would tease Saitama about his head somehow whether it was intentional or not. He’d get offended and spit out words to get back at her, but she found it funny for a guy that didn’t show much emotion for anything except for a few exceptions. It was as if there was an unspoken agreement upon the two that was never discussed, but they went with it.
Genos continued his manga sessions and began asking more questions about them rather than writing things down. Miyu was glad that he was learning more, but it made her think about how his thought process worked. The two often helped each other around the apartment, and went out to a park once to observe activities or see what friends occasionally do.
The week soon ended, and Miyu had to get back to work. She was glad but was also dreading it as she knew she would work for more hours. Before heading to her shift, she went on Saitama’s laptop to listen to some music. Miyu slowly swayed left and right on the chair as she closed her eyes.
Genos took notice of her movements, they seemed different. He walked up to her and tilted his head asking, “What song are you listening to this time?”
“Hm?” Miyu removed an earbud from her ear and turned to face him. “Oh, I’m listening to ‘Kokoronashi.’”she replied with a smile.
       “Kokoronashi?”
“Yes, it’s a song that I listen to for a certain mood to let things out. At times, I relate to it though.” she explained as she got her uniform. She quickly went into the bathroom to change and got out. “I’ll be heading to work now. Have fun with your hero work.” Miyu encouraged them.

True Self [Genos x OC]

Ch. 3 | ~Accustomed Conditions~ (random pt. seg.)
From the outskirts of the city, trees were getting destroyed. A giant huntsman spider had appeared and started wreaking havoc. It’s long legs were strong enough to crack the buildings when hit. Their fangs were capable of secreting venom onto their foes. Whatever provoked them were likely to meet a foul end.
Although huntsman spiders weren’t as worrisome, with their now amplified genes, they were bigger threats. The people of the city were likely to die if they were bitten. A lot of citizens have been kept wrapped up in some of their webs to be saved for later. They screamed and struggled to no avail as they were stuck inside. The wrapped up webbed cocoon didn’t allow them to see anything from the outside. All they were able to see was the bright white and the shadows of whatever hovered over them.
Many heroes rushed through the cities to look through every dark corner or abandoned area in hopes of rescuing those that were stuck in webs. Searching desperately, they had to find them as soon as possible. There weren’t threats like these in so long all over the place, especially since they reproduced faster than normal. There was no stopping to the mass chaos that was spreading at an exponential rate.
“I don’t think bug spray will do any good anymore.” Saitama said as a shadow casted above him. He looked up and saw a humongous elephant beetle along with others coming towards his direction. He jumped up to punch it, and its guts exploded.
One of the elephant beetles charged at Genos and managed to ram him into a building. He went through and debris started flying through the air. The dust from its speed went into its eyes and scurried back a bit in a panic. Its legs waved up, and its head shook fiercely.
“Oi, Genos!” Saitama called out to him.
Genos emerged from rubble and through some of the debris at the insec. “Don’t worry, Master!” he assured. His sensors felt the presence of more figures coming. He tched and parried away to get the beetle at a good angle. “Master, there’s more coming!” he yelled out as he kicked the beetle, making it skid through the streets.
Saitama nodded and began looking at their surroundings. They were running through the streets. He rolled his eyes and started going towards their direction swiftly and smacked them down with spanking slaps. When he looked up, he noticed one of the huntsman spiders coming his way. It ran past him and was going towards where Genos was at. “Genos! Get that spider!” he urged him.
The blonde cyborg nodded in agreement as he began chasing the spider. He aimed his hand, ready to shoot fire, but he didn’t. His eyes widened as he noticed it was holding onto some people wrapped up in a webbed cocoon. Using his blasters on his hands and shoulders, he used them to give him a flying boost to follow it.
The spider continued to scurry for quite a while until it reached a worn-down, abandoned building. He quickly ran after it inside and avoided using his firepower to prevent harming the captured citizens. When he entered, he noticed there was an abundant amount of them. “Lightning Eye!” he shouted. His black scleras slowly disappeared as his yellow irises expanded and shone a bright, blinding light at them.
The huntsman spiders that faced his directions screeched and flailed. They dropped some cocoons onto the ground to avoid the area, but some stayed put as the light didn’t get them head on. While others ran, there were those that began making or continued to make their large web. Eggs were scattered around the area, and there was no telling when they were going to hatch.
Genos ran towards the eggs, but was kicked away by the overprotective mothers. They tried hashing at him, but their fangs didn’t hit him luckily. He rolled away to avoid their range and think strategically on how to get everyone else out. ‘There’s far too many..’ he thought to himself.
