Evaluating Genshin archery stances bc I’m bored

note: i’m bronze-olympian ranked in my archery system so i do have actual credibility this isn’t just me yapping lmao

most of the bow users use this stance

straight posture, shoulder properly elevated

holds the bow at a slight angle- that string is probably gonna snap back on her

overall: 8/10

i’m pretty sure just venti and gorou use this stance (and maybe tighnari?)

hunched back, shoulder a bit too low to maximize string tension

also i’m fairly certain that only crossbows can be fired horizontally, and all the bows in genshin are recurves

overall: 5/10

ayato headcannons bc i can’t finish any drafts love his potential gap moe ^^;

super clingy in the sense that he'll always want to be by your side whenever he can, and is always missing you whenever he has to be away for long

despite his appearance, he's actually really into cute stuff because of all the time he spent with ayaka, especially penguins. he has a season pass to the aquarium just so he could go see the penguin shows on his days off

he also uses that season pass to take you on aquarium dates :3 (he very happily takes you to the penguin show...)

and back to him being clingy, big. spoon. ayato. just imagine this man practically clinging to you whenever he has to get up for work?

call me a hypocrite but I can totally imagine him being a bit, awkward, when it comes to outward affection, giving and receiving. like even though he hides it well he definitely gets like excitedly nervous when you guys kiss or give gifts and stuff

back to him being real awkward about affection really just imagine him trying to keep his composure, hiding his blushing smile after you pack him lunch, get him a suit, give him a kiss, just anything of that sort

am I allowed to use quality time and gift giving as his love languages because YES.

is it weird that I can imagine him sending you sweet love letters while pinning for you, and like they would be like really poetic and well written..

♡ Wanderer doesn’t mind you and your newest hobby, contrary to how he acts. In fact, even if he doesn’t say it out loud, he adores the way you light up whenever you finish a part of whatever you are making.

♡ When you can’t pay as much attention to him because “it’s almost done” and you “don’t want to forget the pattern”, Wanderer is understanding. Very much so. He is totally not staring at you from the opposite side of the room whatsoever.

♡ Wanderer supports you in smaller ways, asking more about crocheting and even tries his hand at it (even if he sucked). He also accompanies you if you need him to help you bring things back from a shopping trip.

♡ One good thing he can name in particular, is that he likes the focused look on your face. Isn’t there that saying about how a person looks the most attractive when they work? He somewhat understands why you are so intent on watching him write his theses now.

♡ One not good thing also comes with you crocheting however. You are way too interested in putting your cutesy creations, such as bows and flowers onto Wanderer. His hair, his clothes and even his hat is not safe in your hands.

♡ Once, he decided to get a shuteye in the living room. A bad decision as he would later find out. You took it upon yourself to adorn his hair with all of the bows, mostly pink mind you, you have made before. Wanderer woke up after a while and left for work before you could stop him. His colleagues were all amused. Good for them since he absolutely was not.

♡ Well, nothing you can’t solve with a set of puppy dog eyes or two♡

♡ After that though, Wanderer does make sure to keep his things out of your reach, sometimes including himself if you are wide awake around him and feeling like a menace to society.

(Extra: if you are good enough with words, wanderer may just allow you to put one (1) bow onto his hair and take a picture)

So recently I’m new to the Genshin fandom and I’ve noticed that I share a birthday with Childe….how do you think SAGAU Childe and Foul Legacy would react to sharing a birthday with there creator?

oh my goodness that's so cool!!! there aren't any genshin characters that share my birthday, but maybe one day,,,,,

Childe and Foul Legacy would both be incredibly honored to share your birthday! Childe is the one who mentions it, idly telling you that he'll be away for a few days to celebrate his birthday, only to gasp when you respond with "Oh cool, our birthdays are on the same day", grabbing and shaking you by the shoulders as he asks you to pretty please repeat what you just said. when you confirm you swear his eyes become stars with how much they sparkle, if only in your presence, before he pulls you away to celebrate. he wants to shower you in gifts and festivities- you are his Creator, after all- but you gently ask to have a quieter day with just the two of you, which would be the greatest gift of all in your eyes, and with a blush on his face and a smile across his lips, Childe agrees

he does get you a gift, though- something small, something sweet, something that truly shows how honored he is to be by your side

Foul Legacy doesn't really understand birthdays- or at least, he doesn't hold his own birthday in high regard. his whole life before you was spent fighting, tearing away at a starless sea before finally clawing his way into the light. to be honest, he barely even remembers when his shared birthday with Childe is until you happen to bring it up, his wings fluttering when you tell him happy birthday. Legacy's never really celebrated his birthday, so he nudges you happily and goes along with whatever you want to do, which usually involves sneaking outside and dodging all the people who keep trying to grab your attention and worship you. luckily all the mountains of Liyue are open access to you, since you and the Adepti get along quite well (they understand your position and want for solitude), so you'll spend an entire day in the mountains together, you in Legacy's arms and him hugging you close

he picks a flower that he thinks you'll like, a gorgeous glaze lily, and with a chuckle you take it from him and tuck it behind his horns
