Steve Harringtons morning routine(with Eddie Munson in his bed, as it has been for the past 20 or so years)

5:30 in the morning right at sunrise Steve wakes up, quickly shutting off his alarm as to not wake Eddie who won’t be up for a while. He presses a kiss to Eddie’s forehead before standing, he stretches, touching his toes, reaching his arms around his back and cracking his back. He turns on a dim lamp to grab work out clothes, a tee shirt and a pair of sweats wich he changes into

He turns off the light and opens his daughters bedroom door, she’s safe sound asleep in her crib, snoring softly (she was a surrogate, the pair actually played a very intense game of rock paper scissors to find out whose seed they would use, it was a whole event really)

He walks down to the kitchen. he makes a protein shake, smoothie mix with berries and flax seeds and protein powder he puts on his shoes and puts a baseball cap on(it’s covered in patches and pins, the patch in the middle being his husbands band, corroded coffin and he wore it daily, even if it threw off his whole “asthetic” people are constantly asking him to “name three songs” and he would go into the whole lore of corroded coffin, even the parts the fans don’t know, the garage band days playing In front of a crowd of five drunks)

He gives their dogs, sabbath and Taylor a few scoops of dry food and some cuddles before leaving (he and Eddie walks them in the afternoon together)

He jogs to the gym, getting cardio in now instead of on the olymptical. He paces himself and slowly drinks his smoothie before getting to the gym

An hour later he’s walking back to their house (their house the house they bought together, in 1999, just a little ways from Indiana, it’s cozy. It’s their home) it’s now 8 in the morning as he adds a can of wet food to their dogs and putting his cup into the sink, he hangs up his cap officially turning on the lights in the living room, hallway, and now bathroom. He hums to himself as he strips naked and takes a shower, he washes his hair snd his body, once out he blowdrys and takes care of his hair, his favorite secret Farrah fawcett spray has been discontinued for years so he has switched to aqua net, in a white bottle he sprays it twice before doing skin care

He brushes his teeth and Finnaly gets dressed for the day in a sweater and tight fitting jeans. Steve smiled as he walks to the kitchen finding his husband in the kitchen his daughter in a high chair, Eddie was cooking in just boxers obviously tired.

„Good morning my love“ Steve smiled before turning to Rowan „good morning sweetheart“ he crouches and speaks in a baby voice to their daughter who happily babbles and laughs at her dad

„Hi, Breakfast is almost ready, pretty boy. How was your run?“ Eddie asks handing Steve over a cup of coffee with a smile as he’s plating some eggs bacon and potatoes

„nice, it’s getting colder out, tommorow I’m definitely using a jacket“ Steve say sitting on the counter

„You mean my jacket?“ Eddie laughs handing Steve a plate

„Definitely“ Steve nods pressing a kiss to his lips before cutting up the bacon on Rowan’s plate so she could messily eat the food with her grubby fingers and small plastic fork before her bath later in the day, but for now, they eat.

keep seeing ppl make points in the notes of hbomberguy posts that actually get addressed in the video. like, no a fancier reporting system for plagiarism isnt the answer. he touched on that!! its more likely to be abused in bad faith. and even if it does work, the likely reputation of always being wrong will make it easy for the offender to gloss over it. like internet historian did. cause, as outlined in the essay, the existing copyright system actually functioned and took his video down but because it has so notoriously been wrong or misused in the past, IH was able to just say “it got copy striked” and a lot of people accepted it

it is... not great... to call judaism abrahamic. i agree with your tags on that post for the most part, but please do not use the term abrahamic - it is considered dated & reductive. same with "judeo-christian"

I've deffinitly heard that about the term judeo-christian, esp as usually that one just means Christian, with a bit of lip service to Christianitys origin out of Judaism

Is there an alternative for talking about the three main religions that are considered to originate from Abraham? Obviously if you're talking about one in particular you should just say Judaism/Christianity/Islam but in discussions about all three and how they relate to one another and shared origin within the line of Abrham what is the alternative to Abrhamic?

Should it just be discussed as Judaism, Christianity and Islam mentioned separately, or worded more like I said above as "religions beggining with Abraham"?

For every instance I see someone online compliment a body type like my own I can think of a dozen back handed complements and practically direct insults in real life. And the way people are so rude about people being attracted to/dating a person with a larger body are always so gross. You'll see a perfectly happy couple and the people just being so dumb like were you just not saying you like a person with the exact body type?? Everyone love fat features except when fat people have them (dad bod? as long as its not actually fat! Big ass and tits? as long as you don't have fat anywhere else in your body!)

Danny is a Shinketsu teacher/student

Danny had originally wanted to work at UA. It was his alma mater, and all of his closest friends worked there. But Clockwork always said that everything is as it should be, so when he walked through the gates of Shiketsu High, he figured it was meant to be.

And, years later, that's still held up pretty strongly. Granted, there were certain times when he just felt like phoning it in. It was a job, and sometimes it really did feel like one. Especially on the long days of training after long nights of patrolling or stakeouts with Eraserhead or-god forbid-the occasional Ghost Zone thing he had to deal with during a weeknight.

Still, he's glad he can confidently say he genuinely enjoys his job. He never thought he would like teaching. After all, he remembers what it was like to be a student-and a bad one at that-but he also remembers the lack of support he had from the people he needed it from the most. If just one of his teachers had reached out a helping hand, he's sure he would have excelled a lot more. And honestly, with the grades he graduated with, it's kind of a surprise he was even accepted for the teaching position to begin with.

But everything is as it should be.

He does his best to be the kind of teacher for his students that he never had. He keeps spare blankets and pillows for when they really need a nap, and extra granola bars in his desk for those who can't afford a little extra food every now and then. And though he's terrible with everything but math and science, he tries his best to help them understand the work they get from other classes.

He enjoys watching his student's eyes sparkle with recognition when they finally solve a problem, or shine with passion when they talk about something they love, or something new that happened with their quirk. And when he went on his own tangents about space or quirk theory, they all sat at the edge of their seats, hanging on every word. Danny never thought he would be a good teacher, but he's glad to see himself proven wrong every single day.

The other perk to working at a superhero school is his coworkers. They're all talented in their own rights, with skills he would never be able to dream of having. But there's one in particular he gets along with well. Like a house on fire, really. Sometimes literally depending on how out of hand their pranks go. But Ms. Joke has been a godsend throughout his teaching career, and he wouldn't trade her for the world.

Through his toughest, meanest days she's stood by his side. Though she never seems to have bad days herself, he makes a point of letting her know he's there for her if she needs him, just like she's there for him. But if either of them ever need a pick-me-up, all it takes is one quick text, a very secretive lunch period, and a can of whip cream.

Danny likes to think that there will be ballads about the kind of pranks they've pulled, each one more wild and crazy than the last. They've never done any genuine harm except for the occasional lost eyebrow (that was completely deserved, if you ask Danny). And they never fail to lift their spirits. Without fail, every single one has ended with them crying and laughing on the floor, unable to stand any longer from the sheer chaotic joy they've caused.

Sometimes he wonders what it would be like if he had gotten that job at U.A. instead. Would he be drinking coffee in the mornings with Aizawa in a steady silence? Would he be brushing up on his literature with Cementoss? Would he be scrutinized in every way imaginable by Nezu? Probably a yes to all of those things.

But he's also created this little pocket of peace. He finally carved out a little section of the world that was just his. It didn't belong to ghosts or anybody else. Just one, kinda tired, Daniel Fenton, teacher extraordinaire.

Plus, the jokes with his morning coffee was a plus.

Besides, everything is as it should be.

And he had no plans on changing that anytime soon.

As of recent I have noticed something rather comical. Speaking as a Dazai Osamu kin, there is a severe lack of people asking how we are. I myself am seen as a comical character, playing the fool in everyone’s lives for the sake of their happiness. Keeping them happy with the fool I make of myself but underneath the thick surface I am not well. I struggle in silence, when I am verbal I am merely brushed off and told by who I speak to “Oh I’m no good when it comes to stuff like that”, then once I speak up once more they get defensive saying nothing they say will help. This is why you need to be persistent, not just get angry and defensive and disappear. In the world I am well and truly alone.
