#ghostwire Tokyo x you
Note
I'm a short lady, so I was wondering if I could request something with both Akito and KK dealing with having a short s/o.
Like would they help s/o if she couldn't reach something, or would they be dicks and put the item up higher?
A/n: I feel this, I’m short lady myself! This is groins be fun! Because I feel the two would be completely different
Tumblr media Tumblr media
+Akito+
🙏: Biggest sweetheart, you need something you can’t reach? He’ll happily get it for you.
🙏: Thinks you were short is the cutest thing, he likes that he has to bend down to give you kisses or hugs.
🙏: Will easily lift you off the ground if it means he can hold you a bit longer.
🙏: Despite how tall / taller he is then you he’s the little spoon. This boy loves curling into you, he really loves listening to your heart beating.
🙏: May tease you a little but it is nothing to bad, and he’s more than happy to have you tease him back.
🙏:Will get defensive if anyone bad mouths you or your height.
“S-shit….who puts…whoever designed this store sucks and should be fired.” You muttered as you jumped trying to grab the box of cereal that you needed to buy.
Watching you for a moment, an amused smile formed on Akito’s face watching you. He hate to admit it, it was rather cute seeing you try and fail to grab whet ever it was though he can also see you getting pissed off too. Biting his tongue he placed his hand on your shoulder followed by a kiss to your head as you turned to give him a pout.
“Need some help?”
“Yess.” An exasperated sigh as you stepped aside, your boyfriend easily grabbed the box of cereal you were trying to reach. “Need anything else.”
Grinning you turned to face him fully wiggling your eyebrows. “Yea I could use that di-.”
“Okay that’s enough…let’s go home.”
“You’re no fun.”
Tumblr media
+KK+
📿:Is a complete dick, will tease you on end but damn he will stop if he knows he goes to far.
📿:Will stop the teasing until you say it’s fine, he’s gonna know that you’re fine again with his light teasing. KK isn’t about to watch you cry because he went to far. He knows he can be an asshole but he loves you and he rather not lose you.
📿:Will be the one to watch you reach for something only to place it higher but of course it won’t last long since the man is right back by your side though he’d be the one to lift you up so you can grab it yourself.
📿:Teases that you’re the perfect height for him 😏
📿:Big spoon! He needs to have you curled into him, KK loves how perfectly you fit in his arms.
📿:Would throw punches if he sees anyone saying shit about you while you two are you. Nobody teases the lady he loves.
📿:Loves how big his clothes are on you, boy will absolutely go feral when you wear nothing but his shirts.
📿:Only moves things at home to higher places when he wants sex.
“What are you doing?”
Scowling you did your best to reach your mug so you can drink your coffee. “I’m trying to drink my coffee but I can’t reach.”
Sighing you stood on your toes, jumping trying to reach it.
“Ahh!” Grinning KK reached over you to grab your mug only to move it higher. A whistle escaping the man’s lips as he sauntered away.
A groan left your lips as you quickly followed after the man. “You’re such a dick, didn’t you have your fill last night?”
“Obviously not.”
“You owe me a coffee after”
Grinning he lifted you up carrying you off to the bedroom. “Of course.”

Ghostwire: Tokyo x Reader series~
Akito: Kitsune
Mari: Kitsune
Erika: Nekomata
Rinko: Byakko
KK: Okami
Yokai au (3)
When reader arrived into this town eariler that day, they honestly expected nothing interesting to happen.
In fact, the town felt so dull that they couldn't wait to leave, but alas, the bus that could take them out this dull place wouldn't be back till next week!
So with boredom on their mind, they asked what they could do around here. Hiking was really their only answer.
The hike was supposed to be fun, supposed to be safe. It wasn't.
Fuck me that hurt..." Reader groans as they carefully pushed themselves up into a sitting position. What... happened?
Glancing up at the light above them they remembered. They were just finishing up their hike when the ground suddenly collapsed underneath them, causing them to fall through!
Looking around they could see they were in a huge cavern. Like really huge! There was even a small lake in there! Also, there was something in the middle of the lake. It looked like a... temple?
Curiousity filled their soul. They wanted to explore that temple!
They knew they should've been trying to find a way out this cavern but their curiousity was more important than escaping!
"Shit!" As they went to stand up, they hissed in pain. Oh well this wasn't good. It looked like their ankle was sprain...
They glanced back at the temple with a pout. Screw it. They've dealt with worse pain before. What's another sprain ankle to add their growing list?
They carefully limped over to the lake, which they discovered wasn't really a lake at all as the water barely went passed their ankles, and began walking toward the crumbling temple.
Limping up the steps they couldn't help but wonder how this hadn't been discovered yet...
"Woah..." Inside they find something amazing. A huge wolf statue.
They limped closer to it, studying it with interest. They couldn't help themselves. They touched the statue.
*Crack* Reader stumbles back and falls to the floor in shock as glowling cracks suddenly began spreading across the statue!
"Wh-?!" The statue explodes and light fills the temple, blinding the reader as well.
A howl is heard and the light goes away, letting them get a look at what happened to the wolf statue. Thing was... it wasn't a statue anymore.
A huge, living black wolf stood before them. There was marking on them as well. Glowing lines decorated it's front paws, muzzle, and back!
"Holy shit." Their whisper of disbelief catches the wolf's attention. and to their horror, it jumps at them with a snarl.
"You! What the hell are you doing in my temple human!" A male voice snarls. It takes a moment for them to realize the voice came from the wolf.
"Y-your temple?" They winced as the wolf growled again. "Yes. My temple. Now answer me!"
Usually they would sass anyone that spoke to them like this but as of right now they were scared. Shakily they told the wolf what happened all the while they curled in on themselves.
The wolf was silent for a moment, but to their relief, it moves off them with a huff. "Fine. I believe you. Since you freed me I'll let you go this time so LEAVE!" The wolf roars.
Reader scrambles to their feet only to fall back to the floor with a pained noise. Fuck! Their ankle!
"Oi! I told you to-" The wolf cuts off as the pain/stress of everything became too much for reader and they pass out.
"H-hm?" Reader wakes up feeling warm. They... were under a blanket? And their ankle didn't hurt anymore?
"So you're awake." They tense up at the familar voice of the wolf.
A sigh was heard and light filled the room. To their surprise, there was no wolf in the room, only a man... who had wolf like features! Like fluffy wolf ears and a bushy tail!
The man had an almost awkward look on his face as he lit some torches with his hands! "Relax... I'm not going to hurt you."
With the room lit up, the man plops down beside them and awkwardly apologizes, explaining he was the deity of this temple and the last humans he meet before reader weren't exactly nice.
They badly injured him somehow, and in an desperate attempt to not die, he sealed himself in this temple, becoming a statue in the process.
"It was only meant for a few years, but I get the feeling it's been much longer than that..." The wolf god glances at them warily before his expression became curious.
"Your face... I never seen anyone with features like yours." The wolf deity pinches their cheek and pulls at it, causing them to whine.
"Ow! Stop it!" He stops and they glare at him while rubbing their red cheek. "It's cause I'm not from Japan! I'm from ***!"
The wolf deity becomes rather interested in that fact. He demanded to know everything, inculding everything he's missed out on since his slumber.
Even though they were technically fully healed, they ended up staying with the wolf deity for a full week.
Over the week they were stuck in the wolf deity's temple they got to know him more.
His name was Kazuhiko. They nickname him KK for short. He never stops them~
He was seriously grumpy but never once took his grumpiness out on them.
His powers were no joke. Etheral weaving is what he called it and it was amazing!
And his wolf form was really fluffy! "Will you stop it!" KK growled at them as they petted his ears. "Make me!" They sass him. He just grumbles as he leaned into their pets. His tail was wagging~
Oh, and he was also unfairly handsome... Not like they would ever tell him that. His ego would grow even larger than it already was!
"KK?" The deity, who was currently in his wolf form and had his head resting on their lap, looks up at them. "What is it?"
They sighed as they looked away from the deity. "I can't stay here forever." Faintly they wondered if anyone in town had noticed that they were missing yet...
KK quickly shifted back into their human form and frowned at them. "Why not? My temple, while old, has everything you could ever need! Why would you want to leave?"
He was right. His temple had everything you needed to survive. Food. Clothes (Though most were fancy looking kimonos). Hell, there was even a running bath!
"I need to finish what I've started KK. I need to see all of Japan!"
Human and deity glared at one another before the deity sighed. "Fine. I'll let you leave." His eyes suddenly harden. "But only if you take me with you!"
They gapped at the wolf deity. They couldn't believe it. KK wanted to come with them?!
"KK... Why?" The deity rolls his eyes at the question and hugs them, causing the human to squeak. KK smirks. "Because I need to keep an eye on you, make sure a stupid human doesn't take you away from me."
Reader blushes cherry red, squeaking the deity's name loudly. "KK! You dumbass!"
The deity laughs and they couldn't help but laugh as well.
Having a wolf deity as a traveling buddy was something never expected to have, but could quickly get used the idea.
Especially if the 'buddy' part becomes something more later down the line...

Ghostwire Tokyo
Developed by Tango gameworks
Published by Bethesda Softworks
Release Date 2022
Tested on Xbox Series X
MSRP 59,99 USD
youtube
A game, whose focus and primary direction is misguided, is doomed to fall short on everything it tries to be, Ghostwire Tokyo is a great example of that.
Tumblr media
The game opens with a young man, the protagonist named Akito, on motorcycle who tries to get to his sister upon a phone call, he learns that she has an accident and hospitalized, all of a sudden a mist covers the surface, citizens around Akito drop dead to the ground, and it looks their souls (or what I make of them) ascend and are trapped inside articulated boxes. A masked man, the main villain, gives a speech on billboards and TVs all around the city on live, I gather that he (with his group?) has hacked the network in the city and cut all communications. What is weird in that specific moment is that, all the people in the city are already lying on the ground unconsciously and basically there is no living being in the city, what’s the reason for the live broadcast? It is not like some people are going to watch you or your little stereotypical villain-ish speech. It’s like dropping a nuclear bomb in a city and also streaming your victory speech on live. Before the mist covers the surface, a spirit penetrates into Akito, we get to speak to it, and later we learn that his name is KK. The spirit inside Akito but he is not possessed by it, KK does not control us or our will. Then we get to realize that Akito did not drop dead on the floor unlike the rest of the people because KK has made Akito sort of immune to it.
Tumblr media
I expected KK to be our guide throughout the game, seeing that he knows this masked villain and what this mist means, and people getting kidnapped in the air inside boxes etc, there are so many questions and yet no answers. KK does not live up to my expectations as a side-kick type of guide. He does not have any qualities that make a difference in our journey, it is fascinating that KK and Akito interact often but backstory is never explored. If you are not diving into the lore one bit, what’s the role of KK? Akito, being the protagonist, lacks the enthusiasm and curiosity the player would have. He does not ask straightforward questions such as “Who are you? What has happened to my city? Where did you come from?” etc.
Okay, the setting is modern-day Japan, that sounds promising because there should be numerous themes and lore you can present to un-familiar players. Yet, the map in general does not have any originality sadly, you visit many locations, some of them in higher levels such as the roof of apartments, but the environments you are in are mostly in black or dark blue, with not much of open spaces (mostly confined), even the streets you get to journey on your way to next mission point don’t add anything to your experience, they are not unique in simple words, and after half an hour you the game introduces Torii Gates. These do remind me of forced-filler-content like pushed side missions. I carefully use the word forced here because when you are on your way to a main mission, your character stops and the camera locks on torii gate and enemies around it, basically telling you first you need to clear torii gate from enemies. Clearing torii locations don’t add anything to the experience, they simply exist to spend around ten minutes fighting and killing enemies. Upon clearing the first torii gate, you are bombarded with half a dozen side missions scattered around the map. Side missions have “meika” and spirit point rewards yet the attention to detail is missing because the description on all side missions is the same, “there seems to be a spirit with something to say.” I wish there was a specific information attached to side missions to pique my curiosity. Before dedication time to a side mission, I’d like it to be worthwhile, otherwise they seem to be filler-content with zero driving force on main story. It is clear that the intended world-building and story progression is linear, on the other hand side missions randomly available on the map, this breaks the main story flow and created a conflict and inconsistency. When you are in an open-world game (let’s just say Assassin’s Creed Odyssey), you can do main missions, side missions, other quests, basically the whole world is before you in an unrestricted way (except for level requirement), and side missions complement your vision and they are core experiences to the world you are in to some extend. Ghostwire Tokyo sets off being story-centred yet introduces side missions in the most ineffective and boring way I’ve ever seen, you feel and recognize that side missions are more or less an afterthought when they are lacking essential mission satisfaction, plainly they are not rewarding to spend time with. There is no connection between main progression and side missions.
Tumblr media
I extensively talked about side mission and map structuring because the protagonist’s motive is stated right at the beginning, he is doing all he can to get to her sister at the hospital, knowing this you would think the story’s main focus will be this. It is a familiar subject to see a main character who has lost contact with somebody who is close to them, a lover, a relative, a sibling or a parent etc, and the audience witnesses the journey the protagonist reaching the lost one, you definitely know this plot from movies, series or games. Where Ghostwire Tokyo fails is that the game does not build on this plot and you become the spirit-possessed guy killing unworldly enemies with newly-acquired abilities. I knew I would be let down the moment I saw the map, side missions, side objectives, area point and icons all over the place, it boils down to this: it is not possible to mix open-world activities and interactions with linear story in case of Ghostwire Tokyo. A linear story would mean that your character moves forward primarily, not backwards, ever. Let’s take The Last of Us, it is 100% strictly linear game and your path is already outlined. Ghostwire Tokyo attempts to be a linear game, taking into account that the main mission locations do move forward as you reach them, yet side missions are randomly distributed, such as the location you visited an hour ago. The main story moves forward constantly, yet side missions are not in line with the story. In open-world games such as Read Dead Redemption 2 or Horizon, your main missions are marked on the map with side missions and misc quests, the world is given to you and you decide what to do next, you can journey to anywhere around the map, the main mission does not limit you where you can go or what you do. In Ghostwire Tokyo, your character moves forward in an restricted world, you cannot just travers in this city with complete freedom, the mist will kill you if you attempt to do it. My beef with side missions is the structuring behind it, it feels teams who build main missions and side missions did not communicate at all, and side missions were not tested in actual gameplay, you cannot have an understanding such as “okay these side missions do not work that well with the actual story, but just put them in, whatever, it is filler-content at best.” This is the exact vibe I am getting. If side missions don’t add any value, don’t put them in at first place.
In “Landmarks” sub-menu under “Database”, the major locations are listed, I took a look and my impression was “Hmm, are these really landmarks? They aren’t distinguished locations, they don’t have any highlighted back-story to make them any different from the rest of the environments”. Landmarks should be unique locations, places that remind you of something, or connected to a story revelation or as such. They shouldn’t be basic locations you travel.
There are collectibles like audio recording too, which can be listened to only in menu, and not during the game. I prefer the approach of The Division franchise on audio logs, you pick them up, and you start listening to them as you play.
youtube
The abilities you are equipped with includes wind, water, fire and a bow. You cannot do combos during fight, you need to switch between abilities to use them, you cannot attack enemies indefinitely, you need resource for each ability that you obtain by killing enemies or melee-attacking highlighted objects you can randomly find.
This is a clip to show you what combat looks like:
youtube
As you visit different locations, you come across spirits of people whose souls are trapped, and you can deposit them in phone boxes. I wish there was more to this mechanic, for example getting to know people whose souls we rescue, this feels like a missed opportunity to me.
youtube
And this is the entire menu:
youtube
Even though you have abilities that are in direct opposition with one another, your attack style or type is literally the same, for example wind and water abilities have same layout, when you are attacking with fire does not make the fight any different compared to wind and water. I would have expected uniquely-crafted game styles for each of them.

starting a second playthrough of Ghostwire Tokyo (i finished my first on May 5th, so it's been long enough) and one of the loading screen tips was "press X to use a flashlight" and I just....
i spent fortyfive fucking hours in this game the first go around and THERE WAS A FLASHLIGHT????
(what did i do in the dark parts, you ask? i fucking spammed the spirit drop skill to map where the enemies were through the walls and walked in a crawling crouch the entire time, that's what i fucking did!!!)

Starfield pc release
Tumblr media
#STARFIELD PC RELEASE SERIES#
Hack-and-slash fans can look forward to the release of Babylon's Fall by PlatinumGames, an upcoming cooperative action role-playing game (RPG).
#STARFIELD PC RELEASE SERIES#
It will be a cross-platform release and is headed to PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series S/X, Amazon Luna, and Google Stadia later this year. The game is based on the popular Avatar film series by James Cameron and promises breath-taking visuals. Avatar: Frontiers of PandoraĪvatar: Frontiers of Pandora might be one of the most exciting games announced in 2021, and the upcoming open-world action-adventure title is developed by Massive Entertainment. However, if you're looking for a list of games you can expect to see this year, here are the games we're most excited to play on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/ X in 2022. Games like God of War Ragnarök and Horizon Forbidden West have already seen delays due to the pandemic, and some of the other titles on this list could also see delays, thanks to the uptick in cases due to the Omicron variant of the coronavirus in various countries. It's worth noting that a lot of games on this list do not have specific release dates but are scheduled to arrive later this year. This year, gamers can expect to see Rainbow Six Extraction, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Elden Ring, Stray, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Hogwarts Legacy, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Gran Turismo 7, Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl, Forspoken, Redfall, Saints Row, Starfield, and God of War Ragnarök. But with the new year comes the promise of even more exciting games. Of course, many of us are still enjoying some of our favourite titles from last year, such as Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. There are a lot of titles to look forward to, some (Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, and Forspoken) promising fantastic open-world action, while others (Dead Space, and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time) will give us a fresh look at classic titles. Not until you've checked out all the games coming to PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch or smartphone in 2022. Happy New Year! 2021 is finally over but if you're a gamer, don't start checking the achievements you've unlocked this year just yet.

Could you maybe do KK with 7?
Kiss prompts here || Ask box here
A/n: This mother fucker would blab on and on, he would really need a kiss to make him stop taking.
A kiss…:to shut them up.{#7}
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You’ve come to find that KK had a way to not shut the fuck up. You honestly praised Akito to have the ability to endure the man blabbering on about off knows what.
You on the other hand had another means to make him be quite. Wrinkling your nose you glanced over at the defective, everyone in the room looked like they wanted to strangle the man. In fact you could have sworn you’ve seen KK smirk, that bastard knew exactly what he was doing.
“Christ.” Pushing up from your chair you walked over to the man. He was explaining something to Akito and the poor boy would rather be somewhere else,it was time to shut him up.
Standing on your toe you then cupped his cheeks as his voice trailed off though he was only silence when you pressed your lips against his. The man’s body tensing for a moment unsure of what to do and taking his chance Akito slipped out of the room.
Kk finally relaxing into the kiss as his hands moved to your hips. Once breaking in the man let out a scoff seeing that Akito was gone. “Can’t believe that I fell for that shit again.”
Grinning you kissed his cheek. “I happen to like using it.”
“Tech.”

Ghostwire: Tokyo x Reader series~
Akito: Kitsune
Mari: Kitsune
Erika: Nekomata (She has three tails instead of two)
Rinko: Byakko
KK: ?
Yokai au (2)
"Good kitty... Nice kitty..." Reader nervously smiles as they stare eye to eye with a big ass tiger!
How the hell did they end up in this situation?!
Flashback to a few moments earlier... Reader did something stupid again. The angry yells behind them only proved that fact.
But they didn't regret doing what they did one bit.
In their arms was a trembling ball of fluff. A tiny little kitty. A tiny little kitty that was seconds ago about to get beaten to death by a couple of drunks!
When reader saw what was happeing, they didn't think. They acted.
One loud warcry and flying kick later, and reader was racing down the dark streets of the city they were currently in at the moment, trying to lose the angry drunks.
"How are these guys still chasing me?!" The drunks were surprisingly keeping up with them and that was starting to make them nervous...
There! That warehouse looks like a good place to hide in!
Reader and the tiny, shaking kitty ducks into the warehouse and quickly finds a hiding spot.
As they waited the reader gently pets the still trembing feline, cooing out soft words of comfort. "You're safe honey~ Those jerks can't hurt you no more..."
The pets/gentle words calms the kitty down. Soon the trembles go away entirely and the puff ball looks up at them with a soft meow.
They innerly squeal at how cute that was!
"Hm?" They carefully hold up the kitty to their face, examing it. Now that they had a moment to actually look at it closely, they were surprised to see the tiny kitty had not one tail, but three.
That was kinda odd, but it didn't take away any of the kitties's cuteness. So they just shrugged away the oddness and called the kitty an adorable little bean~
To their delight, the kitty purrs and snuggles into their arms!
A loud bang makes them jump and reader holds a finger to their lips, making a ssshhh sound toward the kitty, who quickly buries it's little head back into their chest, trembling starting anew.
The loud angry yells suddenly changes to screaming. "Oh shit! What the hell is that?!" A lod roar echos across the warehouse and the screaming escalates.
Loud footsteps rushes past reader's hiding spot and soon it was all quiet in the warehouse. Well... it was all quiet till something big started moving toward their hiding spot, growling lowly as it did.
Now here reader was, staring eye to eye with an angry tiger of all things! How was a tiger roaming around freely?! Did it break out a nearby zoo or something?!
"Rinko! No!!" The tiny kitty suddenly meowed loudly, her voice catching both the tiger and reader's attention. Did... did the kitty just talk?
She crawled out their arms and was now hissing/meowing angrily at the tiger, Rinko apparently, who had stopped growling and was now staring at the kitty as if in shock.
The tiger looked at the kitty and back to the reader. "Erika..." The tiger voice was rough but obiviously female. The kitty, Erika, hissed again. "No! They helped me, Rinko! They saved my life so leave them alone!"
The tiger finally relents with a huff. Suddenly the tiger was gone, and in her palce was a human woman. A rather intimidating woman. A rather... stunning looking woman.
Oh, and she also still had her tiger ears and tail as well.
"Woah..." They couldn't help but say with a blush. Hey! It wasn't their fault they couldn't handle beautiful looking people!
Seeing their reaction, Rinko's scary expression melts away into a knowing smirk. "Well at least they have taste."
Reader squeaks and their blush darkens while Erika hisses out her displeasure. "Rinko!"
A few minutes later and the trio finds themselves settled into Rinko's place, talking about what just happened.
During this Erika shifted, just like how Rinko did in the warehouse, in her human form. Well... mostly human form. She still had her cat ears and three swishing tails.
Reader finds out that Erika actually an abandoned Nekomata kitten that Rinko, who's a Byakko, took in a few years ago.
"Apparently being born with three tails instead of the normal two was a sign that I was cursed or something..." The girl mumurred as she snuggled into their side, demanding for more pets from her human savior.
Reader made a face at that. Who in their right mind would think this adorable cat girl was cursed?! So they tell Erika this, who squeaks and shifts back into her kitty form and hides under a pillow. Only her three tails could be seen.
Rinko gives them a thoughtful look. "Your taking this rather well."
Reader shrugs with a smile. There was no reason for them to freak out for too long.
Rinko ends up letting them crash at her place as repayment for saving Erika, who was now firmly attached to them.
They spent most of the night answering Erika curious questions about what their homeland was like and what they seen so far on their travels.
But when the next day rolled around and it was sadly time to say goodbye so they could continue on with their travels, Rinko asks them for a favor. "Mind if we tag along with you?"
Reader blinks. Takes a moment to comprehend what was being asked. "Y-you want to come with me? Both of you?"
Rinko crosses her arms with a smirk and nods. Erika nods as well, looking at the reader with a begging look.
Reader smiles. "You know what? Sure!"
Erika cheers as zips back to her room, yelling she had to pack her things. Rinko and reader laugh at her antics before the Byakko smiled one last time at them, mouthing a quiet 'thank you' as she took went to pack.
When they saw the tiger lady duck into her room they had to hold in a squeal of joy. They had travel companions now!

Japanese Games Are Making Noise On Xbox Game Pass
It’s not hard to find high quality Japanese games on Steam and PlayStation. But on the Xbox side, the selection is nowhere close to its competitors, if it ever will be. But comparisons aside, Microsoft has made progress in bringing more Japanese games to their audience thanks to Game Pass.
Microsoft is committed to a diverse lineup of games on Game Pass, some of those coming out of Japan. I can already play more than 20 Japanese games, popular titles from the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts franchise. A recent game that arrived on Game Pass was Dragon Quest XI S, one of Japan's most successful video game franchise. I don’t think anyone would have expected to see a Dragon Quest game on Xbox.
Subscribers can now play Soul Calibur VI, Nier: Automata, Tales of Vesperia, and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. Support for Game Pass from three of the biggest Japanese publishers- Sega, Bandai Namco, and Square Enix- has me optimistic about the chances more Japanese games arrive on the service.
Then there’s Zenimax’s Japanese studio, Tango Gameworks (Evil Within franchise). Many in the games industry were stunned to hear the news that Microsoft bought Zenimax Media, the parent company behind popular studios like Bethesda and id Software. With Tango included in the blockbuster deal, I’m eager to see if the Japanese studio will makes games on a larger scale now that it’s backed by the Microsoft dollars. I’m still not sure what Microsoft has in mind for the studio but my guesses include: Evil Within 3, a new IP, or a revival of an old Xbox franchise.
I don’t know if Microsoft is going to continue this year adding as many Japanese games to Game Pass as they did in 2020. I do know that Square Enix had promised in the past to bring more Final Fantasy games like X and XII to Game Pass. We will wait and see when those games arrive. For now Game Pass members have reasons to celebrate with many Japanese games ready to play. Capcom even decided to put a game of theirs on the service, a small game you may have heard of, called Monster Hunter: World.
Here is a list of Japanese games already on Xbox Game Pass:
Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered
Final Fantasy IX
Nier Automata BECOME AS GODS Edition
Tales of Vesperia
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter
Kingdom Hearts 3
Code Vein
Resident Evil VII
Soul Calibur VI
Yakuza 0
Yakuza Kiwami 1 and 2
Yakuza Remastered Collection featuring Yakuza 3,4,and 5
Yakuza 6
Disgaea 4 Complete+
Monster Hunter: World
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown
Coming to 2021 and beyond:
Possibly Ghostwire Tokyo or future title(s) from Tango Gameworks
Final Fantasy XIV (according to Phil Spencer)
Supposedly on Game Pass for 2020 but didn’t happen. Maybe 2021?:
Final Fantasy X: HD Remastered
Final Fantasy X-2: HD Remastered
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age
Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy XIII-2
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
Not on Game Pass but is free-to-play on Xbox:
Phantasy Star Online 2
Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis (coming 2021)
Trivia:
Did you know on Game Pass you can play games made by Western studios but published by Japanese publishers? That’s right. They either own the studio or were partners in making the game. For example, on Game Pass you can play Sega games made by Creative Assembly (UK), Amplitude Studios (France), and Relic (Canada). If anyone says there aren’t many Japanese games on Xbox maybe mention that these Western games from western developers are technically Japanese, because it was published by a Japanese company.
Here’s a list of games made by Western studios from Japanese publishers:
Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan (Bandai Namco)
Company of Heroes 2 (Sega)
Alien Isolation (Sega)
Two Point Hospital (Sega)
Endless Legend (Sega)
Dungeon of the Endless (Sega)
Endless Space 2 (Sega)

GAMING RECAP (JAN 26-27)
Everything Announced At Xbox&Bethesda Developer_Direct Event
Tumblr media
Today Microsoft held its Developer Direct presentation, focusing 5 games coming to Xbox, PC, and Game Pass this year. We also got a fresh look at some anticipated titles, as well as a neat little rhythmic surprise from the developers of The Evil Within, Tangoworks Games.
MINECRAFT LEGENDS
youtube
First announced last year, a spin-off of the ultra-popular sandbox survival game, Minecraft Legends is, perhaps unexpectedly, a multiplayer action-strategy game. The title will have both a narrative co-op mode, as well as a PvP mode with procedurally generated environments, which is much of what we saw today.
FORZA MOTORSPORT
youtube
Turn 10 showcased some wildly pretty footage of the upcoming Forza Motorsport, which is expected to arrive this year. This presentation focused on the finer details of Motorsport’s visual flair, including highly detailed dirt, damage, and “battle scars” that’ll build up on your digital cars, as well as extra detail added to the game’s dynamic time of day and trackside vegetation.
HI-FI RUSH
youtube
Developers of The Evil Within and Tokyo Ghostwire just shadow dropped a new game, Hi-Fi Rush. This game was today’s biggest surprise, putting players in the role of an aspiring rock star with a rhythmic robot arm who kicks butt on the beat with a flying V guitar, it was released after the show ended and it is of course available via Game Pass.
REDFALL
youtube
Arkane, the studio that brought us Dishonored, Prey 2017, and Deathloop is currently working on Redfall, an open-world, sandbox FPS with four-player co-op. With some friends, you’ll wield appropriately gothic firearms to take down oodles of blood-sucking vampires.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom
youtube
ESO continues on with a new expansion: Necrom. Expect a brand new class, the Arcanist, and some terrestrial and extraplanar adventures as there’s a new peninsula to explore in the mushroom kingdom of Morrowind. You’ll also get to go for a jog in Apocrypha, one of the Elder Scrolls’ lovely hellish realms. Coming on June 5 and June 20 for PC and consoles, respectively.
You can watch the entire event right here if you wish to do so.

Naughty Dog co-president says the studio is "moving on" from Uncharted
Tumblr media
Speaking with Buzzfeed, studio co-president Neil Druckmann said the team is "moving on" from it.
"Uncharted was insanely successful," said Druckmann. "Uncharted 4 was one of our best-selling games, and we're able to put our final brushstroke on that story and say that we're done. We're moving on."
Does this mean the studio is finished with the series for good, or just Nathan Drake's story? Only Naughty Dog knows for sure.
But, that's not to say another Uncharted couldn't come from a different Sony studio. In April 2021 it was rumored that Days Gone developer Sony Bend was at one time working on an unannounced title in the franchise.
The report stated Sony assigned a group from the studio to develop the new Uncharted game under Naughty Dog’s supervision. A second team from Sony Bend was also partnered up with Naughty Dog to work on a multiplayer game.

So tumblr ate my previous posts apparently. I missed a bit of e3 and caught a bit of Microsoft and Bethesda.
Microsoft
Did I hear correctly? Fuckin Lego forza? Shit yes finally an interesting car game
Also Lego Star wars with all 9 main movies. Hell yeah I love charades and grunts to convey plot
Tales of Rising, aka one of the few things my weeb ass wanted and it looks great
Dragon Ball Kakarot. I mean it looks pretty but it's just another dbz game that rehashes what we already have seen countless times. Xenoverse 3, Fusions 2, FighterZ 2, come on Toe and Bandai Namco.
The new Star Wars reminds me a lot of the Forced Unleashed games from the good ol days. Please don't let it be like 2. This looks fun and original tho. Robot is my fav as always.
Phantasy Star Online 2 finally comes to the west on PC and xboner and is free to play, unfortunately AFTER I no longer have access to the internet.
Project Scarlet, basically the Xbox 4. 120 FPS, 4 times stronger than the xbox one x apparently, lower load times, solid state drive, now watch it be overpriced and shitty at launch
Halo Infinite. Poor man wants to see his family. Probably will die. Nice graphics tho
Probably missed some but not bad.
Bethesda
We're people!!!!
Todd Howard is aware that Fallout 76 is a septic tank fire. They made a post apocalyptic world where you have to survive by any means necessary and instead people are nice and wave at each other, even leave food for new players.
So they ruin it by adding a battle royale mode. The guy yells FUCK YEAH on live stream. You're at an 11 for an easy 3/10 bub
Elder Scrolls 6 is in progress
Elder scrolls blades is still garbage
Ghostwire Tokyo, aka the game that made me realize Beth Esda knew Japan was a thing. The lady that presented it was such a spazzy bubbly dork and I love her. I felt my heart flutter for something other than medical reasons for the first time in forever. The game as a concept looks very interesting and I am always down for Tokyo ghost hunting.
Only caught the rear end of Wolfenstein but FUCK YEAH fuck nazis
Doom Eternal, aka we heard y'all like to kill shit, so now you can kill hell, kill heaven, kill planets, kill other dimensions, get killed by the guy behind the denny's at 2:30 am on a Saturday night, just go crazy you filthy animals
Yes we are still people!!!
Did I miss anything important?

Tokyo -- The best skills to exorcise Visitors
Tokyo — The best skills to exorcise Visitors
There are a lot of skills to purchase in Ghostwire: Tokyo and you won’t be able to afford them all in a playthrough. I’m going to let you in on which of the game’s skills are most worth grabbing, so you won’t waste any precious skill points chasing ones that just don’t matter at all. Amenotori X   This is the most expensive skill in Ghostwire: Tokyo. You’ll need seven magatama (which you’ll…

Best Games to Play in 2022
https://ift.tt/3pJAUZt
While the last few years have proven that things can go wildly wrong at a moment’s notice, it’s hard to look at the projected 2022 video game release schedule and not get excited about what’s shaping up to be one of the best video game years ever.
While there are a few games scheduled for release in 2022 that we’ve been looking forward to for years now, it’s the depth of the year’s lineup that really sets it apart. While we’re still waiting for several of the year’s biggest games to finally get release dates (and delays are obviously always a possibility), there’s a very good chance that every month this year will feature multiple new releases that will end up being in the game of the year conversation.
Before we get too far ahead of ourselves, though, let’s take a look at some of the biggest upcoming releases in 2022 and why you should have many of these games on your calendar and wishlist.
Babylon’s Fall
March 3 | PlatinumGames | PS4, PS5, PC
Babylon’s Fall tells the story of a somewhat unlikely group of heroes who have been granted incredible powers that they hope to use to defeat a seemingly unstoppable invading force. This ARPG from PlatinumGames (Bayonetta, NieR:Automata) looks to combine that studio’s legendary combat mechanics with the kind of cooperative fantasy RPG action seen in classic genre titles like the Dark Alliance series.
Dune: Spice Wars
TBA | Shiro Games | PC
Described as a “real-time strategy game with 4X elements,” Shiro Games’ Spice Wars looks to not only capture the political intrigue and strategic maneuvering that help make the Dune universe so compelling but somehow live up to that franchise’s history of revolutionary RTS experiences. At the very least, it will give us a little more Dune to look forward to while we all wait for Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human
February 4 | Techland | PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PC
It’s been a long road to the release of Dying Light 2, but with this long-awaited sequel to one of the surprise hits of 2015, developer Techland looks to find a way to improve the original game’s incredible freerunning action while telling a much more ambitious story about a (possibly hopeless) attempt to reunite the increasingly divided humans that wander the area known simply as The City.
Elden Ring
February 25 | FromSoftware Inc. | PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC
What do you get when you combine an open-world setting, Soulsborne mechanics, and the combined creative talents of George R.R. Martin and Hidetaka Miyazaki? That’s the question we’ll finally get an answer to when Elden Ring (arguably one of the most anticipated games of the last 15 years) is unleashed in 2022. While Elden Ring’s network test bets gave us a taste of what’s to come, we can’t wait to see what surprises the final release has in store.
Evil Dead: The Game
February | Saber Interactive | PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PC
While there have been a few Evil Dead games in the past, none have come close to recreating that perfect blend of comedy, horror, and action that has come to define most of the entries in this franchise. Evil Dead: The Game looks to reverse the curse with its co-op horror gameplay that lets you control Ash and a few more familiar faces as you battle a variety of Deadites.
Ghostwire: Tokyo
TBA | Tango Gameworks | PS5, PC
Developer Tango Gameworks (the studio responsible for the underrated Evil Within games) returns to the horror genre with Ghostwire: Tokyo. While many of the details about this game remain a mystery, we do know that it will take players on a first-person tour through the paranormal side of Tokyo as they battle spirits with help from a combat system that director Shinichiro Hara has described as “karate meets magic.” If Tango’s previous works are any indication, it’s at least safe to assume this game will be incredibly scary.
God of War Ragnarök
TBA | Santa Monica Studio | PS4, PS5
Kratos and Atreus return in one of 2022’s most anticipated games. As the end of the world draws closer and closer, Kratos must help Atreus discover the truth about his origins, battle Thor, and locate Týr: the Norse God of War who many believed died long ago. Nobody really knows what to expect from what is being described as the end of God of War’s “Norse saga,” but the brilliant 2018 reboot certainly set a high standard.
Gotham Knights
TBA | WB Games Montréal | PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC
Batman is dead and Gotham has become even more of a warzone than ever. You control Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood as they attempt to save the city and perhaps become Gotham’s new hero. Recent Batman games have certainly raised our expectations for this franchise, but this title’s drop-in and drop-out co-op multiplayer could help it establish its own identity and become one of the year’s most intriguing action experiences.
Gran Turismo 7
March 4 | Polyphony Digital | PS4, PS5
It’s been quite a while since we’ve gotten a proper new Gran Turismo game, but in the minds of many, this series is still the standard by which all realistic racing games must be judged. With the power of the PS5 at their side, they may even find a way to surpass this series’ legendary audio and visual design elements that have often made GT games the definitive declaration that the next generation of gaming is here.
Hogwarts Legacy
TBA | Avalanche Software | PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC
For years, we’ve dreamed of an open-world Harry Potter RPG that lets us become a student at Hogwarts. While there’s still quite a bit that we don’t know about Hogwarts Legacy, everything that’s been shown of the game so far suggests that is exactly what developer Avalanche Software hopes to deliver. This game’s promised morality and character creation systems should certainly help us craft a Hogwarts adventure that is truly our own.
Horizon Forbidden West
February 18 | Guerrilla Games | PS4, PS5
Nobody knew quite what to expect from 2017’s Horizon Zero Dawn, but Guerrilla Games most ambitious project yet turned out to be one of the most unique and enjoyable open-world experiences of the last generation. With its expanded item system and diverse new biomes, Forbidden West may just be the superior sequel that turns this series into one of gaming’s most undeniable franchises.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Spring | HAL Laboratory | Nintendo Switch
The Kirby franchise has long been one of the great torchbearers of the 2D platformer genre, which makes it that much more surprising that Forgotten Land will essentially be the first “proper” 3D Kirby game ever. We’ve seen that transition go wrong in the past, but developer HAL Laboratory’s unbelievably consistent work with this franchise over the years has to inspire hope that they will find a way to make it work.

Is Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 Actually a Ganondorf Origin Story?
By John Saavedra
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
TBA | Traveller’s Tales, TT Games | PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PC
The consistently magical LEGO game franchise returns to a galaxy far, far away with this (mostly) new adventure that will recreate the nine films in the Skywalker Saga in typical LEGO fashion. While this game will certainly be familiar to anyone who has lost a few dozen hours to one of the many great LEGO titles we’ve been treated to over the years, this title’s revamped combat system should help liven things up a bit.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2
TBA | Nintendo EPD | Nintendo Switch
It’s only been about five years since Breath of the Wild was released, but developers everywhere are still chasing that game’s best ideas and have started to use Breath of the Wild as shorthand for what they’re trying to do. With the still-unnamed sequel to Breath of the Wild, Nintendo looks to show everyone why nobody does it quite as well as they do. The one thing we know for sure about this mysterious sequel is that it’s easily one of 2022’s most anticipated games.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum
TBA | Nintendo EPD | PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PC
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is a stealth-based adventure title that casts you in the role of Gollum on his eternal quest to find his precious. There’s been an interesting influx of stealth “revival” games in recent years, and Gollum is certainly one of the most high-profile attempts we’ve seen in quite some time to bring that genre back to mainstream prominence and perhaps modernize the best elements of the greatest stealth titles.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
TBA | Ubisoft Milan, Ubisoft Paris | Nintendo Switch
Few people were bold enough to predict that Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was going to be anything more than a gimmick. Against considerable odds, though, that XCOM-like strategy game starring Mario and developed by Ubisoft turned out to be one of the most charming and addictive Switch games yet. Sparks of Hope looks to build upon that success with what looks to be a much deeper game that will hopefully still please casual fans.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns
March | Firaxis Games | PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PC
Midnight Suns initially appeared to be that team-based Marvel superhero action game we’ve been waiting to see someone properly bring into the modern era, but this title’s deckbuilding and card combat systems make it one of the biggest…err…wildcards of the year. However, the considerable talents of developer Firaxis (the studio behind XCOM: Enemy Unknown and many of the modern Civilization titles) may be the best reason to consider this one of the year’s best strategy games.
Metal Slug Tactics
TBA | Leikir Studio | Nintendo Switch, PC
“Tactical” isn’t the word I would use to describe the action in the Metal Slug franchise, but this fascinating spin-off from Leikir Studio looks to turn one of the definitive 2D action franchises into a compelling strategy experience. This project’s combination of Metal Slug art, Final Fantasy Tactics-style strategy, and roguelike elements may just make it one of the year’s more surprising hits.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus
January 28 | Game Freak | Nintendo Switch
As an open-world Pokémon game with real-time encounters and a more complex combat system, Arceus is certainly a departure from so many of the design tropes that have defined many entries into the Pokémon franchise until this point. Yet, it’s the way that this project will seemingly tap into the heart of this series while modernizing that franchise formula that makes it one of the year’s most anticipated games.
Rainbow Six Extraction
January 20 | Ubisoft Montreal | PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PC, Stadia
If Rainbow Six Siege has taught us anything, it’s that the Rainbow Six team is more than capable of taking this franchise in new directions while honoring that tactical combat that helped set this series apart in the first place. So while Extraction’s sci-fi gameplay and cooperative action may remind you of Left 4 Dead, GTFO, and Back 4 Blood, there’s more than enough Rainbow Six in the mix to make this one of 2022’s most intriguing co-op experiences.
Redfall
TBA | Arkane Studios | Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC
Redfall is an open-world, action-adventure first-person shooter that sees you battle both the undead and the tragically alive with the help of four uniquely talented survivors. It’s about as far from developer Arkane’s wheelhouse as the studio can possibly get, but Arkane’s success in pretty much every endeavor so far should be all the reason you need to keep an eye on this one.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl
April 28 | GSC Game World | Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is the long-awaited sequel to 2007’s S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. Set in the dangerous Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, this sequel looks to retain that unique combination of survival horror, action, and exploration that made its predecessor so memorable while modernizing that game’s sometimes “wonky” mechanics. Will this game help one of the most underrated games of the last 15 years finally get the mainstream recognition it has always deserved?
Scorn
October | Ebb Software | Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC
The art styles of  H. R. Giger and Zdzisław Beksiński and modern first-person horror join forces in Scorn: the upcoming biopunk survival horror tile from Ebb Software that remains somewhat mysterious despite occasionally being teased over the last several years. Anyone who has ever wondered what it might be like if David Cronenberg made a horror game may just find their answer within the still-beating confines of this promising project.
Sifu
February 8 | Sloclap | PS4, PS5, PC
The historic lack of truly exceptional martial arts games is one of those strange trends that we’ll never quite be able to explain. Thankfully, Sifu looks prepared to deliver the kind of kung-fu wish-fulfillment experience we just never seem to get enough of in gaming. This title’s complex 3D combat is reason enough to check it out, but it’s the game’s fascinating aging system that might prove to be its biggest secret weapon.
Sonic Frontiers
TBA | Sonic Team | PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PC
Sonic Team hopes to convincingly get Sonic over that “3D hump” with Sonic Frontiers: an open-world Sonic title that allows Sonic to freely roam a massive landscape that some close to the project have compared to Breath of the Wild. Sonic Team hopes that this game will help set the template for future titles, and fans hope that this title will find a way to add another dimension to the blue hedgehog’s incredible 2D action.
Splatoon 3
TBA | Nintendo EPD | Nintendo Switch
The idea of Nintendo making a family-friendly competitive shooter once felt like a joke that nobody quite understood, but Splatoon has quickly become one of Nintendo’s most enjoyable new ideas in years. While Splatoon 3 looks fairly similar to the previous two games in the franchise in most of the ways that matter most, the chance to play with this game’s new levels, characters, and weapons is all most fans will need.

Starfield
November 11 | Bethesda Game Studios | Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC
Starfield may be Bethesda Game Studios‘ first new RPG franchise in years, but much of the hype surrounding this game is based on the fact that it looks like a “return to form” for one of the industry’s most famous and acclaimed RPG studios. Can Starfield possibly live up to the hype that surrounds any new BGS game, or will it end up being a curious placeholder that lays the technical foundation for The Elder Scrolls 6?
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin
June 14 | Team Ninja | PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is a…well…strange game that is described as an alternate universe retelling of the original Final Fantasy with ARPG gameplay from Ninja Gaiden and Nioh developer Team Ninja. Look beyond its odd debut trailer and new concepts, though, and you’ll find a lot of classic Final Fantasy concepts that reveal the potential of this fascinating concept.
Stray
June 14 | BlueTwelve Studio | PS4, PS5, PC
Stray just missed its 2021 release date, which means that we’ve actually seen quite a bit of this game that follows a lost cat trying to navigate a world filled with robots in order to make it home to their family. There’s a fascinating dystopian quality to this game’s world that perfectly compliments its many puzzles and generally mysterious nature.
Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League
TBA | Rocksteady Studios | PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC
After years worth of rumors that strongly suggested developer Rocksteady (the Batman: Arkham series) has been working on a Justice League game, that studio swerved us just slightly by revealing that they’re actually working on a game about the Suicide Squad trying to kill Justice League members that have gone rogue. This co-op action title has a lot to live up to given the high expectations for Rocksteady’s next project, but few fans dare doubt the skills of Rocksteady or the promise of this premise.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge
TBA | Tribute Games | Nintendo Switch, PC
There’s something about the simple brilliance of those classic TMNT brawlers of the ‘80s and ‘90s that help them feel special even after nearly three decades of innovations and advancements. We don’t know why it’s taken quite this long for a studio to decide to finally recreate those timeless experiences, but developer Tribute Games’ take on that classic concept looks like everything we’ve ever wanted.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
March 25 | Gearbox Software | PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC
Based on Borderlands 2’s brilliant D&D-inspired Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep DLC, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a slightly more traditional tabletop-style RPG that benefits from a healthy influx of Borderlands-style art and humor. While that latter quality may attract some fans of that franchise, it’s this game’s character creation options, skill systems, and first-person battles that really have us intrigued.
Total War: Warhammer III
February 17 | Creative Assembly | PC
The surprisingly perfect blend of Total War strategy and Warhammer world-building continues in Creative Assembly’s third entry into one of the best strategy series in years. Anyone who is a fan of truly massive battles featuring an array of impossible creations will likely fall in love with what Warhammer III has to offer.
Triangle Strategy
March 4 | Square Enix, Artdink | Nintendo Switch
For some, the words “tactical RPG from Square Enix” will be enough to get them to pre-order Triangle Strategy and never look back. Anyone who is still on the fence just needs to know about this game’s environment-changing battles, challenging choices, stunning art style, recruitment system, and grid-based combat that is clearly inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem. It’s absolutely one of 2022’s most promising games.
