in spite of itto's formidable size, the way he looked at you as he reached for your hand could easily be compared to that of an excited puppy. the similarity extended to his almost clumsy run as he tugged you uphill by the hand to.. whatever he intended to show you.

"it's a surprise!" he exclaimed smugly, looking as if he'd replied the best comeback to ever exist.

nonetheless, he'd softened a little (just a little) at your raised eyebrow.

"oh, come on! just trust me! if you don't like it, you can get back at me however you want; how's that?"

"fine by me." you teased.

he only grinned, fangs peaking out from his wide smile. your partner was a lively one, indeed.

the islands of inazuma always seemed to be blanketed under a shroud of purple. from its lightning to its exotic fauna, as well as the numerous electro crystals that littered its face. you couldn't help but think so, looking over the grassy hillside itto led you up.

he eventually skidded to a stop in front of a boulder, thin trees framing the edge of a cliff. sunlight poured through cracks in the foliage.

with a flourishing bow, he held out a hand for you to take.

"allow me to help you up, my dear?"

you laughed at his antics.

"very well." you said, playfully rolling your eyes. your hand fit snugly in his.

though itto knew you had no need door assistance. the boulder wasn't that big anyway, and the footholds weren't steep by any means. it's just that you also knew he needed a tiny ego boost from you every once in a while.

as your head popped up over the rock, the glare of gold caught your eye. the sky was approaching sundown, the impending twilight veiling the brilliance of gold under hues of violet and pink.

itto climbed up behind you, ready to catch you if you slip while you climbed up on top of the boulder. from his own expression, you could tell he saw yours.

"pretty cool, huh?" he puffed out his chest with pride. he'd put his chin against the warm stone, anchoring himself from falling with his arms folded in front of his head and a single foothold.

"see? told you you'd like it." the oni was basically preening. "did you doubt me?"

"hehe. no." you kissed the crown of his head. itto hummed happily. "it's beautiful."

"oh, it's nothing. just bringing the two most beautiful sights in inazuma together. no big deal. all in a day's work for the one and oni itto."

you sighed as you combed through his thick white hair, equal parts fond and exasperated.

"dork."

itto thought your smile outshone the sun. he averted his gaze from it, warmth growing on his cheeks.

"you know, i mean it though."

you glanced down at him and chuckled.

You stared at your boyfriend lovingly as he cleaned up from the simple dinner date you had just shared. How lucky you were to have ended up with such a wonderful man like him… Lost in your own thoughts, you fail to miss the sudden pattering against the rooftop of his home.

He sighs and listens intently to the area outside before coming to a conclusion: it was way too heavily raining for you to go out there. When you blinked back to reality, you saw your lover knelt in front of you, wiping his hands with a towel.

“(Y/N), love, it’s really coming down out there… would you be okay to stay a little longer so it can calm down?”

“Hmm- what? What?-“ his words took a bit to process “I suppose…”

The rain failed to calm down, it only seemed to roar more severely. You sighed longingly as you looked out the window. You heard a gentle chuckle and felt a hand on your shoulder. “Follow me, let’s start getting ready for bed.”

You furrowed your brows. “What do you mean, follow you?”

“You’re my partner,” he answered. “There’s no way I’d ever let you sleep anywhere else than my bed.

You sighed and obeyed, completing as much of your nightly routine that you can (all while wearing pajamas that definitely aren’t yours). You settled into bed next to him, immediately being wrapped in his arms.

You settled with a smile, closing your eyes and cuddling close…

Kaeya: The Revolving Door

After a few short minutes of relaxation, you felt your boyfriend squirm beneath you. Within an instant, Kaeya had muttered something and gently slipped out of bed, carefully placing you on the fluffy mattress.

“What’s wrong, honey?” You asked, still fully alert.

“Bathroom light,” He answered as he stepped back toward the bed.

He settled back down, then after a little maneuvering, it was like he never left.

You both closed your eyes once more, attempting to rest.

Fifteen minutes later, you were about to fall completely asleep. That is, until you felt yourself being moved again.

Your lover ever so carefully moved you off of him, retreating to the restroom once more. You groaned and opened your eyes. “Kaeya?”

“I fr-go- bru-h- eef-“ the distorted response was undoubtedly from a toothbrush in his mouth.. you couldn’t help but chuckle a bit at him as you waited for him to return.

And as he had done previously, Kaeya returned to bed and settled down with a content sigh.

Perfect, now the two of you can-

“Wait,” your boyfriend groaned. “Light.”

You rolled your eyes with a smile. “Go.”

Finally, the light was off, and Kaeya was in bed. You curled up against his chest and sighed with a smile. “Goodnight, love, ” you hummed as you closed your eyes.

“Goodnight, sweetheart,” he replied, kissing your forehead.

After two minutes, you felt Kaeya squirming again. Though, he didn’t move a muscle, despite the uncontrollable squirming.

“…Darling?” he asked softly.

Kaveh: The Acrobat

The room was silent, albeit the gentle hum of a ceiling fan. You felt your consciousness leaving you slowly, and you were close to falling asleep…

Until you were accidentally smacked across the forehead by his hand.

While you were upset from being woken up, you couldn’t help but chuckle as you picked up his wrist to move it from your forehead. You planted a gentle kiss on the back of his hand and placed it down on your cheek.

You could’ve sworn you saw Kaveh’s lips curl upward at the gentle kiss, but it was short lived as he suddenly flipped over onto his other side.

You smacked face-down onto the mattress, barely registering what had happened. You groaned and slowly picked yourself up, rubbing your sore nose. When your eyes landed on the unmoving body of your boyfriend, you rolled your eyes and turned away from him.

You figured there was no sense in attempting to cuddle with him when he was moving so much. You closed your eyes and attempted to fall back asleep. After about five minutes, your eyes got very heavy, and you were near falling asleep.

However, sudden rustling from the other side of the bed made you alert. Before you could register what had happened, you were being pulled back into Kaveh’s arms.

You squeaked but ultimately relaxed, turning around to kiss him on his lips. You both smiled and you rested your head in the crook of his neck.

Finally the two of you were almost both asleep. You could barely keep your eyes open, and were seconds away from falling a totally asleep.

And then, it happened.

And boy did it happen suddenly.

Within seconds, you landed smack-dab on the hardwood floor, having been accidentally kicked in the back.

“AGH- KAVEH!” You yelped, rubbing your sore bottom.

Your boyfriend awoke with a start, looking around frantically. “Honey?! Where are you, what’s the matter?”

You groaned and clawed your way back on the bed, “Nothing… Nothing is the matter,” you replied curtly.

“A-Are you sure? Why were you on the f-“

“I am ten seconds away from taping your limbs to this bed, that’s why,” you spat. You sighed and fell forward onto his chest, wrapping your arms around him. “If you kick me off the bed again, I’m sleeping on the couch, capische?”

Kaveh only nodded fearfully as he kissed the top of your head.

Itto: The Loose Cannon

You sure did love your darling boyfriend. Life with him was never dull, and nights were… well, interesting to stay the least. He would always get so much more energized during the night, simply bouncing off of the walls.

Well, tonight marked your first sleepover, so he opted for eating spicy ramen with you and watching movies. Halfway through the film, your boyfriend excused himself to the restroom, proudly announcing that he had a battle to fight.

You rolled your eyes. You couldn’t help but smile at the stupid codeword.

By the time he returned, the movie was done, and you were drifting off on the couch. Your eyes flutter open as you smile at him. “Everything come out okay?” You teased.

Itto merely laughed, scooping you up. “Yeah, yeah. It’s beddy time now. Now, come on! Let this big strong oni keep you company!”

You allowed Itto to carry you to his bed, wrapping your arms around him. And that is how you ended up where you are now… caged in his giant arms as he squirms uncomfortably behind you.

Your chain of thoughts was interrupted by an almost cartoony-sounding toot echoing in the room. Your eyes snap open, and you push away from your boyfriend, looking at him with disbelief. “Did you-“

You begin to giggle. “Oh gods- okay-“ You chuckled despite the smell now filling your nose. Once it subsided, you returned to his arms with a sigh. “Feeling better now?”

Itto nodded against your head, planting a gentle kiss too. He returned to lying comfortably, his own eyes closing along with yours. The two of you are almost asleep when you hear the noise again…

“Itto!” you whined, scooting away from him. “Not again!”

“I’m sorry! It was that ramen, I swear!” The oni whined.

“Well try harder!”

“I can’t help it!”

You groaned loudly and rolled your eyes before returning to cuddle him again. You sighed, damn near falling asleep.

And yet again, that pungent smell filled your nostrils…

“Oh my gods- ITTO!” You yelped, turning away and pinching your nose. “Stoppit!”

Before he could reply, he stood up quickly from the bed, retreating to the bathroom with a hasty shut of the door.

It’s been twenty minutes… no signs of organic life from the bathroom.

You sigh and roll over.

Kazuha: The Apologist

Kazuha led you to his bedroom by your hand, gesturing for you to get comfortable. You obliged immediately, snuggling into the soft sheets. When you looked back at him, he looked sheepish. “Are you okay, dove? I can sleep on the couch if it’s too awkward-“

“No, no! I apologize… I didn’t intend to make you think something was wrong, I’m just-“ he sighed, looking away. “Do you think… would you be willing to hold onto me as I typically do you?”

You smiled at him softly, holding your arms out. Your lover smiled back at you and instantly settled down in your arms. He sighed in satisfaction as he felt your arms cage around him. As his body relaxed—and boy did it do so fast—a soft ‘oof’ left you. Kazuha immediately lifted his head. “I’m sorry, love. Did I startle you?”

You chuckled again. “No, Kaz’. Just wasn’t expecting it.” You gently rubbed soothing circles on his back, and you felt all of his worries melt away.

Things were going well. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. You felt yourself growing tired, but you were soon interrupted by Kazuha reaching up to itch his nose. “M’sorry,” he murmured.

“No need to apologize, my dear…” you gently kissed the top of his head.

More peaceful minutes passed until his leg randomly spasmed, causing you to startle again. “I-I’m sor-“

“Kazuha, honey,” you soothed, “it’s okay. You don’t need to keep apologizing for things you can’t control.”

“Okay, I’m so-“

You gently poked his side to state your point. He startled with a small squeak. Afterward, you gently ran your fingers through his hair, removing it from the ponytail and untangling it. He hummed in satisfaction, relaxing into your arms once more and closing his eyes.

It was a wonderful experience. Your lover finally passed out in your arms and slept for a good hour. As you eventually felt yourself growing more tired, you were startled awake when Kazuha shook violently in your arms with a gasp. He woke up panting, throwing his arms around your neck.

You sat up immediately, coddling him. Your hand returned to his back as you whispered in his ear. “It’s okay, love… I’m right here… I’m here…”

He trembled in your arms, holding you impossibly closer. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry,” he repeated, his voice shaking.

“Hey, hey… sweetheart it’s nothing to apologize about. I’ve got you,” you gently hummed, kissing the top of his head. “I’m right here.”

“These nightmares still plague me… I’m so sorry (Y/N)… I must’ve frightened you.”

“I’m okay, love,” you reassured him.

Kazuha hesitantly settled back in your arms, feeling utterly blissful from the gentle rubbing on his back. He slumped down against you once more, sighing gently as his breaths gently puffed against your neck.

After a while, you both were absolutely exhausted. Kazuha was the one who was still awake as you finally drifted off to sleep. He lay peacefully, listening to your heartbeat slow and slow.

As he was about to fall asleep… his tummy growled loudly, waking you immediately.

“I’m sorry…”

Diluc: The Furnace

You smiled as you felt Diluc’s strong arms cage around you. His hand immediately found refuge in your hair, gently scratching your scalp and sending chills down your spine.

He continued his actions for a while, and you seemed to in a blissful daze. Little hums of satisfaction left you as well as tiny gasps every so often. Your lover merely grinned, taking solace in knowing he was making you feel relaxed.

You were close to falling asleep when you suddenly felt extremely warm. You start gently panting as you swallow a few times.

“Love? Are you alright?” He asked you in a concerned voice, sitting up.

“Yes, of course,” you hummed in response. You reach over him onto the night stand, grabbing the water he always kept there and positively chugging it. “I think I was just a bit thirsty.”

Diluc chuckled as you lay back down. His hand found itself rubbing gentle circles on your back, the warmth traveling from your shoulders down to your hips. It was soothing, and his hand was wonderfully warm.

After a while, he got the idea to press his hand against your bare skin, having snaked it under the large shirt he had given you.

You shivered from the sudden change in temperature, but Diluc continued anyways. He looked down on you lovingly as he saw you relaxing in his hold.

Your lover let his head fall back against the pillow, and he gently closed his eyes. He was near falling asleep when he felt you peel yourself away to grab more of the water.

You sigh between gulps of water, almost like a toddler drinking some after being outside all day. You put the cup down with a sigh before slumping back on him. “Archons, I must just be dehydrated. Nothing more,” you quickly reassured him.

You settled back into his arms, exhaling as you felt heat engulf your body again. You narrow your eyes in confusion and annoyance.

The faint shuffling beside you woke you up, not because you were a light sleeper but instead because of the shot of soreness that ached in your lower back.

You hissed in discomfort, hand moving to try and rub out a clear knot in your back. Wincing at the bruising your hand brushed upon.

“Did I wake you up?”

The tiredness and aching in your body made you reflexively swat away the loving large hand of your oni partner- only realizing your action when he whimpered and moved to hover above you, big wet red eyes looking down at you in guilt.

He helped you get dressed, put your socks and shoes on for you before he packed you up and brought you out for typical errands- not once putting you down even when acquaintances and friends approached. When you discovered a new domain he told you that he could help you out. After all even if he might not always be good with puzzles he sure is great at taking care of any bad guys that think it's a good idea to approach you.

But in the end you decided to enter alone. He saw you off but when you went in the door started to disappear and you didn't notice it on time.

He tried to run after you but he was just a step away... And still didn't get in.

To say that he panicked was saying a little. He tried to calm himself down and thought he should just wait for you.

He stayed there for some time (and that some should be counted in days) and there were no signs of you.

So he decided to do more than just wait around. He gave you enough time to get out on your own terms so now it was the time for your hero to come and save you.

He got the gang to help and they all began investigating... While Shinobu posted a commission hoping someone with actual adventuring experience can help.

But as time passed so did interest in helping. Of course he still could count on the gang since they wouldn't want to leave you either but any outside help wasn't something they were going to get.

No matter what he didn't lose his spirit. But he definitely missed you greatly. To cheer himself up he'd just start thinking of the tales you'd have when you get back. After all you were missing for months now so surely things are getting interesting in there!

As the first year came around he hoped for a miracle and decided to wait by the domain like he did on the first day. He was on guard the entire time so even if he fell asleep he'd still be able to see the doors should they appear.

You didn't appear before him. But it's not like he was going to give up now.

He started thinking of what you were doing before you found it. And with that he started repeating it.

You could call him desperate but he didn't feel that way for sure. No matter how many times he failed he was still determined. A little tired, but still determined.

His determination however was slowly turning into worry with each additional month. He tried to not let it show but he just wanted to see you again. Maybe if you didn't talk him out of going in there too at least you wouldn't be there all alone?

And when it's been years he only then started thinking of a possibility that you won't ever come back.

As that thought was settling in a portal opened. It was in a different place than where the domain doors appeared but you jumped out of it and he caught you immediately.

He was too happy to ask questions. You were a little surprised he was that excited to see you "I wasn't gone for that long" you said which caused him to stare at you "Since when 6 years is short??"

You honestly thought he was pranking you but when the gang saw you and even Shinobu was acting similarly to the guys you knew it wasn't a joke.

Somehow your paths always cross when you need his help. But this time you weren't aware of the danger.

When you saw the doors to the mysterious domain you just had to go in. You weren't ready however for the consequences of it.

Before you opened the door Gorou happened to walk in this direction. He didn't completely stop you from going in he just wished you luck, normally he'd enter with you but he had important business to attend to.

Everything was normal until the door disappeared in front of him. He was surprised but hoped it wasn't the first time for you and the door will reappear and you didn't just vanish in front of him.

He decided to for now keep his cool and not think about it too much. But it was extremely hard not to.

His mind wandering off did make hard to complete any task, but as soon as he was done he went to look for you, few hours had passed after all. By that time you were sure to come back.

At first he didn't ask for help and looked on his own. Then, after he was unable to find you after yet another hours pass so he decided it was time to involve more people.

There was a dedicated search team looking for you. And Gorou spent most of his time patrolling and literally finding any excuse in the book to go look for you.

Of course as time went on and with information that a domain was behind your disappearance, the search team had disbanded thinking it'd be for the best to just wait.

To him it was unthinkable. Who knows if you weren't in danger while being stuck in there!? He needed to find that door. There's no way he'd even consider leaving you behind.

He didn't have anything against the people who dropped out though, he had little to no clues as to where and how to find you so it was normal to think it's better to wait.

When it's been over a year he was actually slowly giving up hope, but for your sake he tried to avoid such grim thoughts.

But your disappearance did have a major impact on him. Although he was usually serious, he was few times that. It was clear he didn't get enough rest too.

He tried to take care of himself but at the same time he worried everyday about you.

A lot of fellow soldiers started feeling bad for him and they sort of forced him to take care of himself for the day. In the meantime they'd do whatever he was supposed to do. After a lot of convincing he agreed.

He found it hard to sleep but that was what he wanted to catch up with first. He was laying by a tree that happened to be by where he last saw you.

And it ended up being a place of your reunion. After so many years. You just jumped out of the portal and were right by his side.

He was really asleep though, so instead of waking him you sat down and layed his head on your lap as you pet his ears.

When he finally woke up he was surprised to see you so he sat straight up. He honestly thought he was dreaming. He was so glad you were okay and basically tackled you as he hugged you "Y/N! You're finally back!"

You often went out by your own to explore and on some occasions you didn't go back for a day or two. So he wasn't exactly worried at first.

You had an agreement that whenever either of you goes somewhere where you have no idea when you'll be back you tell each other where you're headed.

That way if either of you gets worried you'll have at least one clue to find the other one.

He's patient, so it takes him about a week before he starts to worry. And what else would he do than look for you himself?

At first he asked around your friends, since perhaps you weren't missing but you just didn't have the time to stop by and say hi.

But after he talked to everyone it was clear that you were really missing.

He went to his only clue, the location you said you found a strange door on Watatsumi island. Ah, yet again he would be occupied with work instead of getting to enjoy the scenery.

Jokes aside he did worry for you, but he didn't let it interfere with his deduction. For if he allows himself to be desperate even a regular rock could look like a clue to him.

So he approached it calmly. He knew that you could take care of yourself so he was only hoping you weren't in some odd circumstances.

There are many possibilities but he mostly thought about the doors you mentioned. Because he went exactly to the location you mentioned and scouted the area looking quite literally everywhere, but he couldn't see any doors. Or anything resembling them for that matter.

After months had passed he still couldn't find even one clue suggesting that the door existed in the first place. So he was running out of ideas.

It was frustrating but he really did try everything to find you without any results.

He just never thought you could disappear without a trace like that. Or rather he didn't want to believe that he's failing at finding you.

How could he call himself a proper detective when he couldn't find someone so important to him?

He was really running out of ideas. But like I mentioned earlier he tried his best to not let desperation mess with his mind.

You definitely weren't kidnapped because he'd definitely find a trail by now... Same if you were murdered... So at least he doesn't have to worry about that.

So all he could bet on is a weird occurrence. Or maybe you found some portal that teleported you away somewhere... Maybe he just needs to wait. You could've been teleported to a different nation after all so getting back here could take a while.

But as the year passes, so his theory. He was slowly out of ideas as to what he could do.

He didn't give up on the investigation but he had different cases to solve too. So he was really distracted and something that would take him a moment, now gave him troubles.

He managed to pull himself together but it was tough. He wasn't used to being that uncertain about something.

With more years he felt more despair in his heart. Although he was acting a bit more normal to his usual.

As he was filling out some paperwork his thoughts were somewhere else. He could only wonder what you were doing... And before he knew it you quite literally fell onto his desk after a portal opened over it.

He was shocked to say the least but before he bombarded you with questions he made sure you weren't injured.

After you pulled yourself together from the fall you told him that it was the longest you've been in a domain and he said "No kidding. I don't think there are many adventures who were gone in one for years. But you definitely didn't break the record there" you were confused.

You tried to correct him but he quickly connected the dots and said that it seems that both of you were right.

After losing you like that he became a little protective of you. It wasn't that visable because everything is done without him putting much thought into it. He'd go on expeditions with you more often or sometimes even suggest to go later if he's unable to go with you right away.

In the end he probably also just wants to make up that lost time...

Thoma

He made a habit of seeing you off whenever you wanted to enter a domain. Of course he felt a little uneasy that you'd be the first to "test it out" but to you that was the most exciting and fun part.

So he wouldn't take that away from you. I mean that IS what you signed up for when you decided to become an adventurer.

But this time wasn't like any other. He had a bad feeling about the domain but as always he didn't stop you from entering.

He regretted it the moment the doors disappeared. He was the only one who witnessed it and it felt so unreal. He actually thought that he was imagining things for a moment.

In the end it was all very much real. Because you were gone. He called out for you and yet he heard nothing back.

He was rather surprised but he stayed positive. Perhaps you'd be back when you solve some puzzles so for now he decided not to focus his entire mind on worrying.

He was a little distracted when doing work at the Kamisato estate. But the housework managed to calm him down.

So after he was done with everything he went to see if you were back. He asked around, looked around and eventually went back to where he last saw you.

Not even a trace of you was left anywhere. So he decided to report you missing.

He didn't know if he rushed with it too soon but at the same time he didn't wanted to risk it.

There were a few adventurers that were willing to go for it but little did anyone know it wasn't something that would get solved quickly.

After first month he was slowly out of ideas on how to get you back. But it didn't mean that he tried any less.

He really missed you. And while he wasn't really alone due to his friends trying to cheer him up what he really worried about is if you were totally alone in there... Other than occasional monsters.

Even thinking of monsters got him panicking a little. Sure, you weren't weak. At the same time he has no idea what kind of circumstances you're in.

He actually quite literally worried himself sick. Well, technically he got sick while he was investigating on his own and he didn't prepare himself for that night to be so cold.

But as he recovered he realized that it might be for the best if he just puts his trust in you.

In the end he accepted that he could only wait. Because no matter how much time had passed he didn't even want to consider a possibility of you being dead.

And his mind kept at it for more months untill months changed into a year and then one year into another.

He was staying positive and even started thinking of plans with you. In the end you probably miss him just as much if not more.

So once you get back he definitely has to spoil you rotten. Being gone for this long in an unknown place alone just calls for all the care in the world once you get back. Maybe a full celebration too.

It was good to see him not so depressed but some of his friends did think that his hope was a little foolish. But he didn't care about what others think or say.

He of course wasn't always staying positive, he had his moments where he wondered if he wasn't just delusional. In the end he managed to calm himself whenever such doubts entered his mind... But it was hard without you.

One day when he was occupied with such thoughts he saw a portal open. When he saw someone fall from it he didn't even have the time to recognize it was you before he ran up to catch that person.

And when he noticed it was you he hugged you tightly after setting you down "I was so worried..!" he said "Yeah I didn't expect the door to disappear like that either but I managed to create a portal after a few hours of doing puzzles" you explained with an exhausted sigh.

But when you saw his expression you asked him what's wrong and that's when he explained that you were gone for years. Not hours.

It was tough to realize that you lost so much time... Even though you don't feel like you lost anything at all.

But his plans weren't any different than when he waited for you. He wanted to make you feel special, and if you didn't wanted to think of it as "You missing for years so now he wants to shower you with love" you could consider it him just feeling a little romantic.

Itto, as your brother, is either the absolute best to ever be had or so terrible you'd love to dig yourself into a ditch. There's rarely an inbetween. Despite that, you wouldn't trade him for anything in the world. He's always there for you

Scraped knee? Rushing to you like you're on your last breath. Haven't eaten and need a snack? All of a sudden he's dragging you to a food stall with fifteen mora in his pocket. Feeling a little blue? He's finding something ridiculous to do just to make you smile

Both of you are surely menaces, though

Another wild one! Although she's more than aware with how much Ningguang says so

Beidou adores light-hearted pranks whether they're on you or other people, but she makes sure to bring you along for the ride everytime. She's always terribly supportive of what you want to do and encourages you to do what you love rather than something that just pays the bills. And if you want to escape for a while, she'll offer you to join her at sea! Though she can't promise you that no problems will arise..

Often times she'll steal you away as soon as she sees you. Running errands? KIDNAPPED-

   ➢ Dottore

What a disastrous pair you two are. Shivers are to be felt within your presences! Well, except the fact that no one can really hold a candle to Dottore in terms of being terrifyingly unhinged...you surely have your moments, too, though!

He's the absolute worst - he'll tease you in the most mean way and flick your forehead so hard you'll get a headache. However, Dottore will redirect that aggressive affection if someone decides that they had the right to hurt you- be that mentally or physically. And it won't be affectionate, no no, it'll be their greatest nightmare.

Dottore, as your brother, is distant and harsh with hints of playful poking and prodding, yet more than a little protective. He definitely keeps you away from his lab and anything remotely related to the fatui. It's a bother to answer your endless questions(he's actually just preemptively keeping you safe, though there is a LOT of truth in him finding your insistence annoying :C)

   ➢ Tighnari

You're both the epitome of passive aggressive and exasperated. Truly, you can't have one without the other! And although you may butt heads every so often, you two get other each better than anyone else.

He still doesn't give you a pass for doing exactly what those silly little adventurers do, though! (follow the rules you gremlin) Conversations about your interests are common, sometimes you both just hang out for a weekend to exchange new information (Presentations? Presentations).

Being siblings with Tighnari is far more relaxed than with the hooligans above for sure, but watch out! He's got his moments!

Heizou From you:

Heizou was munching and relishing the fried chicken in his mouth when he caught you staring at him

At first, he was like, "You want this fried chicken don't you 🤨🤨"

Was conflicted between eating it all right in front of you for an amusing reaction or actually sharing it like a good person

It's not as if Heizou is a good person...

But he isn't a bad one either!!!

However, when Heizou actually offers you a part of his fried chicken, at least when he was about to raise his hands up to you, he noticed that... that...

HEARTSTOPPING SMILE ON YOUR FACE??!?!?!?!?!?

It was so relaxed, but at the same time, it made you look as if you were just... enjoying staring at him. The way your hand cupped your cheek, tilting your head to the side, and just grinning at him.

He planned to play a little prank on you, but it seems like the tables have been turned without you even knowing.

"...you want one?"

"Oh, oh! Yeah, thanks,"

The way you just forgot about the chicken after he passes it to you, and continues to gaze at him.

He can't solve the mystery, the mystery of why you have eyes that cause the butterflies in his stomach to multiply.

From him:

It was a really REALLY late night trying to solve this case that had been collecting dust for weeks now.

You had decided a long while ago that you wouldn't disturb him or interrupt him (despite the multiple times that he would strike up a conversation with you while you were reading your book)

It looked more as if you were working instead of him

Usually, he could figure out a case once he gathers all of the information in one place. However, he just can't solve this for some weird reason. It was something he just couldn't put his finger on.

Leaning back into his chair, his head thrown back as he mindlessly stares at the ceiling.

"(Name), I really can't crack this case open :((" He'll whine softly to you

Once he hears soft snores instead of your voice, Heizou will glance at you and the realization finally hits him. Your body was slumped over with your arms used as a cushion to rest your head.

Strolling over to you, he'll peer over your shoulder to see you trying to solve part of the case with him. You got a little distracted and started to doodle though...

Whether it was a stickman version of him holding your hand or multiple smiley faces adorning the piece of paper your body clamped against the table - it was all such an adorable sight.

A soft sigh escapes him, it was almost as if he could regain his energy just by being with you alone.

Sloppily picking up a pencil - vision a blur due to how exhausted his body was, Heizou finishes the other half of your heart and writes both of your initials inside of the heart.

Brushing through your hair before interlocking his fingers with yours, a silent "I love you" was passed to you as he continues to just gaze at your sleeping figure.

Once you wake up, you'll be surprised to see Heizou sleeping right next to you, mumbling in his own sleep your name the moment you try to move away.

Itto From you:

Is not in the slightest bit embarrassed by it at all. In fact, he enjoys putting a smile on your face

During one of his performances, he watched as you continued to giggle and laugh at him, how you genuinely cheered for him during the performance and the way you were so invested in the story and looked out for his gang.

AND WHEN I TELL YOU THAT THE ARATAKI GANG WAS ITTO'S WINGMEN, I MEAN IT.

How could they miss it? How lovestruck you were with their boss was something that they couldn't ignore! You made their boss so happy too

Before the performance, I bet there was a lot of teasing going on.

"Oh, look who's here, it's (Name) boss!!"

"Really?!" Itto will peek his head out of the curtain to spot you in the crowd. "Then I have to look extra good tonight! We've gotta put on an AWESOME show for them!"

Cheeks brushed with pink, he won't be able to resist that boost in motivation and mood once he sees you.

"Boss! Boss! I heard (Name) was planning to give a kiss to their favorite performer." Stuff like that was being passed around like wildfire in the Arataki gang.

You had no idea what was going on backstage.

At the end of the performance, he'll just drop his props and just sprint to you. Picking you up by the waist and lifting you in the air, repetitively asking if he impressed you or not.

Once you finally let your feet touch the ground, you peck him on the cheek which gives him your answer.

Just peppers your face with kisses after that, no context or reason at all.

From him:

Poor Arataki Itto, bedridden with a stomach ache that feels like a punch to the gut.

How was he supposed to know that the bowl of food that you conveniently left out in the open - that you had asked him to take care of - had beans in them???

What a shame, he had so much planned for the day (no he didn't.)

Kuki should be taking care of his gang right now, but even he can feel the heartache and misery without him around. He can just sense their despair on his "death" bed.

The gang bought a few gifts for him to wish for a speedy recovery, but you didn't even allow him to touch them yet!! What do you mean a dancing cactus won't help him get better :((

You stroke his hair, running your fingers through his untidy hair. Honestly, you weren't used to seeing him without his usual perfect hair-do. Without his signature grin and outfit, he seemed like a completely different person.

"Jeez," your fingers brush against his cheek, "Please be more careful. I told you to take care of that can, not eat the whole thing..."

You turn your back to him, rummaging through bags to see where Kuki had left the medicine she bought recently.

Itto can't help but chuckle at you, taking such good care of him. He assumed you would be mad at him, but you're just worried for his well-being.

He really, really appreciates the time and effort you put into taking care of him. With how hyper he is, Itto feels like jumping out of bed and snuggling up against you - but you would definitely remind him that he needs to rest.

You really care so much for him. Just, wow.

While you reading the instructions Kuki left for you, you glance at Itto out of worry for him and realize he's staring at you. You blink once and try to focus your gaze on the sheet of paper, but the words become jumbled and incoherent.

Blinking again, you look at him with flushed cheeks. A pillow is suddenly pressed against his face for a second, "Go to sleep or something!"

That was a desperate attempt to hide how red your face probably was.
