I got a Rwby ask for ya for Yang Xiao long, Weiss schnee and Nora Valkyrie with a Male S/O that's Shy like Kobeni from chainsaw man and seems to downplay himself when in actuality he's incredibly strong. I just wanna see His girly just smother him in affection and won't allow him to talk down on himself

I had a fun time writing this, though I'm not sure If I did all to well on it as I'm not really sure if I have a firm grasp of everyone's characters, not to mention I was half asleep when writing most of this.

Now! Your wish is my command!

Yang had to admit, she wasn’t really sure about you when the two of you first met.

You floundered every time someone talked to you, jumped at every little noise, and yet you came “Highly recommended” as a temporary replacement for Ruby while she was out with a cold.

She didn’t understand why, at least until the first time she saw you fight a pack of Grimm.

It was… efficient.

That way the only word Yang could think to describe the fight, if it could even be called that.

You cut ligaments and veins, snapped and crushed bone, tore limbs away from the body and as soon as one began to drop the next was being disassembled.

It was an exciting display.

But still, you could’ve left a few of them for her to show off on.

Oh well, it’ll have to wait until next time.

The next group of Grimm was almost instantly cut to ribbons.

The following one was ripped to shreds.

It was around here that you apologized for being so “Slow”.

At this, Yang felt like she should grab you by the collar and shake you like a stuffed toy.

Slow?

Needless to say, Yang took a bit of an interest in you after that.

And seeing as you weren’t really a part of your own team, Yang asked to have you as a +1 of sorts to team RWBY.

Things snowballed after that.

Somewhere down the line Yang’s interest in you turned to infatuation and then love.

That being said, your lack of faith in yourself made her want to throttle you sometimes.

You could shred through almost any Grimm with ease.

Yet, you called yourself a “Below third rate hunter”.

She didn’t know if she wanted to hug you or strangle you every time you said that.

Then again, she could probably do both if she put her mind to it…

Weiss had heard that you had immense talent, an almost unrivaled ability to disassemble Grimm into many small pieces in record time.

You had a reputation that precedes you, even Winter sang your praises as a prodigy.

Needless to say Weiss was excited when she was told that you would temporarily be joining team RWBY to cover for Ruby who ate herself into a food coma with cookies.

On one hand, she wanted to strangle the young woman.

On the other hand, she felt like giving her a hug and thanking her.

It was only when they were on the way that Weiss realized that she had no idea what to expect of you as a person.

Shortly following this realization, they arrived and were greeted by the single most frazzled and shaken creature that Weiss had ever laid eyes on.

Weiss was understandably concerned by this and asked where you were as you were supposed to be the one greeting them.

Imagine her surprise when she learned that this person who looked like they were going to shake apart at any second was the very person Winter had been singing the praises of, not to mention the same person she had been told held the current record for defeating a Grimm.

She was sure that this was some joke.

But before Weiss could properly express her indignation, everyone got to work.

Well, by everyone, Weiss means you got to work.

When the first Grimm made its appearance it was already falling to the ground in a heap of severed body parts by the time Weiss had drawn her sword.

She swore she would get the next one.

She did not get the next one, or the one after that, or the one following that one.

It infuriated her to no end.

After this, Weiss made it her own personal mission to get to a Grimm before you did.

She got some… mixed results.

More specifically, she got to hit one, single Grimm before you obliterated it.

That was still better than she had managed to get throughout the entire day and as such, made her the person to get the second most done.

She was really wondering why in the world they hadn’t just sent you to do this on your own.

Then, when the whole expedition came to an end, you apologized for “Holding them back.”

That’s when it all clicked for Weiss.

The frazzled way you acted.

The fact you had barely said a word to anyone.

The apology.

You lacked faith in yourself.

Despite all of the talent you had, despite the fact you could dismantle a Grimm faster than the human eye could see.

You saw yourself as less than third rate.

Weiss felt a sudden kinship with you at this realization.

After this, Weiss did her best to find a way to spend time with you, to try and get to know you.

It was an extremely difficult process, but slowly, eventually, she came to understand you.

And you came to understand her.

After that, things sort of happened between the two of you.

She, of course, was teased mercilessly by Ruby, Yang, and Blake when they found out.

They were lucky she was nice, otherwise she would have frozen them solid.

That and she was more concerned about you at the moment.

You managed to infuriate her to no end with the lack of faith you had in yourself.

She had done her best to try and get you to believe in yourself more but it was very, very slow going.

But that just meant she had to believe in you enough for the both of you.

When Nora met you for the first time, her first thought was “Wet cat”.

To be fair, at the time it was a very apt comparison as it was pouring rain and you had just returned from dealing with quite a few Grimm.

That being said, the two of you didn’t officially meet until the next afternoon.

Upon meeting you, she blurted out without any shame.

“You’re the wet cat person!”

Your only response to that was a meek “Fair.”

After this, you and Nora became fast friends.

Well, it's more like Nora just started showing up to chat with you and you didn’t really want to argue with her about it.

Something told you she was a very stubborn person.

Nora also, on occasion, brought her other friends.

It was during one of these occasions, that she learned that you were someone rather famous.

You were the person who could take down a Grimm in under a tenth of a second.

Nora had to admit, she couldn’t really see it.

To her you were a lot like a ball of yarn that was quickly unraveling.

Then again, she has been wrong before.

However, what you said in response to this caught her attention, knocking her out of her musing.

“I’m just a third rate hunter, no one special at all. I’m sure someone could do what I did a lot faster if they wanted to.”

This told Nora two things.

The first being that you actually were the current record holder for the fastest Hunter in training.

The second was that you downplayed yourself more than was healthy.

And seeing as you were a friend of hers, she didn’t particularly like that second part.

So, Nora cleared her schedule.

She was going to make you have more faith in yourself.

By any means necessary.

Tomoko was such a relatable and important character to me, and as a kid I was so disheartened to see the anime YouTubers I liked at the time didn’t like her.

They’d call her weird and say ‘who would even act like this?’ But I understood her, and looking back, she was fifteen. I thought she was eighteen, but she was fifteen. Of course she’s cringe.

As a kid I would sit alone a lot. When I was around the age of seven, I’d get calls home saying that I was just alone all the time, but as a kid I just didn’t want to play with kids anymore. I wanted to be by myself, I wanted to be alone. I’d ask if I could work alone any chance I got, and that lasted until I left school. I actually left school at fifteen, Tomoko’s age, because I was anxious and stopped going. I struggled really hard to socialise and to feel like I fit in with others. I didn’t do my homework and I would get detentions where I’d have to miss the first ten minutes of lunch, but I didn’t care. The ‘friends’ I had at the time wouldn’t miss me, and I knew that. It saved the awkwardness. Eventually, I stopped hanging out with my friend group, and I’d sit alone instead. It was always so much easier to be alone because it felt like nobody liked me, but I didn’t really like them either.

I didn’t have the best view of women as a kid. In anime I’d only be exposed to girls who I couldn’t relate to. They were too girly, too bubbly, too obsessed with boys in their cutesy loving ways. Now I feel like we have way more female anime characters that are loud and boyish and gross and weird. Power from Chainsaw Man comes to my mind, though she isn’t completely free from sexualisation, but I do love her so much as a character. She was written by a man, after all, so I can’t expect her to not be shown inappropriately. Still, she is an ego-manic and is shown vomiting, not flushing, being generally gross and disugsting. It was honestly nice to see an anime girl with less likeable gross traits.

Tomoko was one of the girls that stood out to me when I was watching copywritten anime on YouTube before double digits. I really saw myself in her. She was anxious, had judgemental thoughts about people, struggled to talk, struggled with her self image and was a bit of a pervert. Am I happy to say that I was a weird and gross kid? Not really, but I hit puberty pretty early (I got my period at eight) and I grew up on the more inappropriate side of the internet. I was looking at sexual My Little Pony games, watching Kiss x Sis, watching and reading whatever weird pornography I could. I was pretty hormonal, admittedly, and I grew up not fully knowing boundaries and knowing what was okay, which actually sounds way worse than it was.

I don’t know. I feel like the people that hate on Tomoko didn’t grow up with her as a lonely and anxious kid who was exposed to the internet too early. My favourite anime YouTubers were social school boys who are now internet celebrity men, of course they don’t get it, she isn’t for them.

I understand she’s… Weird. Looking back on it, there’s some stuff you don’t really pick up on when you’re a kid. I mean, looking back on Lucky Star, Konata has a dad who was a lolicon and was pretty vocal about that. Wouldn’t he also go to schools and take pictures of the seventeen year old girls? I mean, I didn’t really take in any of that stuff, but I could relate to Konata liking anime and being online, the artsy Tamura character who likes girls kissing, the fujoshiness of Kagami (I’ve grown out of that, thankfully.)

There are some people that just didn’t grow up as, and currently live as, losers. They don’t get it. They don’t have to get it. There’s a lot of negative stigma around girls who relate to Tomoko, and I guess I don’t get it because she was one of the only anime characters I really saw myself in. I’ve never really related to a character the same way. It was nice to actually relate to something for once as a kid who didn’t see themselves in anybody.

In a slasher situation, Gloria would be first to die because of the sin factor, which is why she’d be better off as Giallo girl. Technicolor, titties out, covered in blood, psychosexual type of deal.

Holly’s definitely the final girl of a suburban slasher, she absolutely has that energy to me, like a Sidney Prescott or Laurie Strode. Well-liked, good student, will stab if fucking necessary—the object of any classic slasher’s eye.

However, I feel like Woody would be the final girl in a road trip slasher, you know the kind I’m talking about. Like House of Wax or Texas Chainsaw Massacre, where you’re on a road trip and end up somewhere fucked. Backwater slashers are no match for her. Definitely is wearing the quintessential y2k final girl outfit which is blood-stained wife beater and jeans.

Yeah the hurt feels good to him because i all he’s know is pain and misery. The burden Denji carry and will carry alone with unhinged happiness. He’s pushing Nayuta away because he’s accepted he can’t give her a normal life not with whole world after him. His sister deserves better devil or not.

We back to two week schedule. The next chapter have Denji vs Barem or Fakesaw, or both! Or we shift to Bayuta pov since neighbors already trying pull her to safety. Maybe she run into her sister Yoru. Bet girlie having blast fighting Fakesaw with her new power boost

I'm back with the horror of retrospection! (protocol ep 5 spoilers!)

As a horror girlie, the ideal of voyeurism has always been something so interesting to me. Carol J. Clover puts it best in her book Men, Women, and Chainsaws, where she muses about the "eye of horror" and the voyeuristic tendencies about the medium, emphasizing film. It's an excellent read, and I highly recommend it!

Episode five of The Magnus Protocol, aptly titled "Personal Screening," fell flat for some. I'll admit, on my first listen, I felt a bit ambivalent about the whole thing. Upon my second listen, however, knowing what our narrator was in for, I felt more. I understood more. I touched upon this in my earlier post, but Tom's obsession with horror contributed to his own, shall we say, naivety. Foolhardiness, almost. The love of terror desensitized him to the true dangers of the world.

And as I think about Tom's terror at the end of his episode, I realize just how truly horrific the concept of the voyeur is. While others might have felt "Babadooked," as our narrator put it, I realized that the Implications of the statement are the true horror. Imagine having terrible things happening to you, true trauma occurring in your lifetime, and as you move past it, you forget just how bad it was.

And then you see a movie. A horrible movie. It must be seen to be believed. And you find out that someone, something, might have been watching you the entire time. This... Thing that you don't know. You don't know its intentions, its motivations, if it was malicious or benevolent. Suddenly, you're reflecting on everything in your life that has even a modicum of sadness, looking for the things that could have been fodder for this entity.

And you don't know what it is.

Imagine that paranoia, that mania, that spiral into madness as you try to figure it out. Imagine the implications of your darkest moments being watched by Schroedinger's eye, uncertain if the Thing is real or not.

Voyeur must be seen to be believed. The question is if your mind will survive the viewing experience.

I’m back on my bullshit 😔. (This got real long as I was writing it so I had to add the keep reading thing for everyone’s sake)

so… Mika as a bit of a villain, a bit of an evildooer, a bit of a malicious man. Would he transform like the magical knights or would he have to manually change outfits? Cuz I doubt that he would just go out without covering his face or disguising himself. If he has powers I would assume he gets his own special form, like an evil magical girl lmao.

Also, I was thinking about Bingus 💀. Mostly the actual threat he could pose to the magical knights. He feels like the type to use henchmen/an army of mindless henchmen, like an army of living dolls.

So, Mika’s powers, if he has em. Personally I don’t know whether he would, he could just be real good in a scrap or have powers given to him by Shu, or he could have magic of his own. If he did have magic of his own I feel like it would be something he didn’t really know to use before Shu got involved with him.

On the topic of Mika’s powers (again), I’m not sure what they would be exactly. I have a couple ideas, shadow manipulation, some kind of physical enhancement thing that lets him fight on past the point of serious injury and do physical feats that shouldn’t be possible (like bending his spine in ways it shouldn’t, or lifting cars and shit like that), or bringing plushies to life, or something to do with crows. Idk man, he has so many options but being a villain and all means he can have more than one to make him threatening : D (I’m getting tempted to write 😔)

Also what weapon would he use? I feel like he’d wield something unconventional, like a chainsaw or those giant pairs of scissors that you see in anime. Alternatively he could wield something graceful like a lance or spear (maybe one that resembles a big sewing needle ✨). Plus with the reach that the spear would have it would make him more menacing, especially in a fight against people wielding swords (cough cough the knights). Either way he’d be terrifying in a fight, I can just feel it. He’s so pathetic but if you hand him a weapon he’s fucking scary. (I really want to draw him lmao)

ALSO JUST HAD A THOUGHT!!! Shu and Mika fighting together could be really cool cuz if Mika has that body enhancement power where he can be injured beyond what’s possible for a normal human and still fight Shu could manipulate him like a doll to fight viciously. I have fight scene ideas in my head. Like straight up angsty shit tbh.

maybe Mika doesn’t know Arashi is a magical knight, and after he finds out he doesn’t want to fight her anymore but Shu pushes him on and actively makes him fight with like his powers or something. Puppet master Shu <<<333

losing my mind rn, anyways Mika screaming and crying while being forced to actively fight Arashi <<33 let him cry 😎 (I love Mika so much but like I want to see him crying sometimes)

Also Shu regretting his actions after realizing how torn up Mika is (emotionally, not just physically for once) after fighting Arashi. Shu redemption arc? Nah, that’s for season two, he’s a villain, he’s gonna double down on his shitty behavior by internalizing all of this and pushing Mika away while yelling excuses to get Mika to leave. Like calling him broken or useless because he knows it will get Mika to leave him. 🫠 I love writing too much, angst specifically.

also Mika bonding with knights at school before the reveal and seeing them as his first actual friends and companions outside of Shu. I feel like that would be really cute.

back to the girl boss and her friends cuz I’ve talked about Mika enough for now.

ARASHI AND KNIGHTS NOT BEING FRIENDS BEFORE ALL THIS BULLSHIT (except Ritsu, girlies gotta be girlies ya know?) AND BONDING OVER ALL OF THIS SHIT AND GROWING TO CARE ABOUT EACHOTHER LIKE A REAL FAMILY.

they should go sing karaoke together with Mika.

also just them doing domestic stuff together in general. Like having a movie night or cooking together.

ALSO, ya know how a lot of magical girl shows have like second forms or power ups that get revealed around the mid season, and how these are sometimes locked behind character based trials? Like, some character development has to happen first before the character can start using this more powerful magic?

I’ve been thinking. 😔 still don’t have words for these thoughts tho so I’ll be back.

Mika should unlock his true magical knight form, when.. OH HOLY SHIT HE COUKD BE LJKE A DARK KNIGHT, WAIT OH MY GOD I JUST HAD THIS THOUGHT!!! Back to what I was saying, he could unlock his true magical knight form after he leave Shu and, and! Decides to forgive him and actively starts working with the knights to save Shu from himself. Now that I’m thinking on it more, I feel like this would be more of a self actualization thing for mika. He’s finally making a decision for himself, and it goes against Shu’s wishes completely. Maybe he could get his actual powers in a burst of righteous fury over one of Shu’s self destructive actions :):):) broseph should grab that pretty boy by the collar and scream at him for once. It would do Shu some good to be yelled at occasionally, humble him.

I’m gonna shut the fuck up now. Arashi’s super magical girl form should be queen related cuz she’s the queen of knights, yada yada, I need to continue unpacking my stuff from my recent move, so I’m done opening my skull like a trap door and pouring the contents into your ask box for now.

Replying this took way more time than i thought because turns out i cant think in words lmao, so i sketched all the ideas i got from this in my free time the past days ksbxk

Starting with Mika and weapons! (And other's weapons but mainly Mika)

Yea hes pathetic but also the biggest menace with a weapon. At first i thought about double swords or some fact double weapon (u can see i recently watched the puss in boots movie) but i also like the idea of showing how inhumanly strong he is with his weapon, so a Claymore! A Big ass sword that is weird not being scared of getting closer! Im talking about his henchemen moment, because after all his redemption arc i feel like giving him a more futuristic spear, kind of like a sewing needle yea (i didn't drew that cuz i thought about It after but u get It?)

Now designs! My favorite parts! Henchemen!Mika:

An easy to fix/change-specific-parts uniform! Provided by his boss!

I honestly think he would not be completly human, mabye a genetically modified one or entirely artificial. I mean, if Knights are getting their powers from some random alien why not artificial people? I like the idea of his body being like a wooden doll, those which all their joints are joined by an elastic inside the body (or reference dolls for artists if is easier to search?), so he could stretch/broke his bones all he wants without worrying, besides, if his skin is hurt badly Shu would "heal" It for the sake of his incognito mode!

After redemption!Mika:

Futuristic! Neon! Transparent parts of clothing! Bold shapes! Mika is now a brand new person, letting behind his heavy past focused on obedience to live his own life! In part thats why i wanted to give this version of him a spear, because its a lot more lighter than the Claymore and can be used a lot more freely!

Now the rest of Knights designs! Ritsu, Leo and Tsukasa:

Ritsu's skirt is really puffy, mainly because It makes me think its extremely comfy and soft like a cloud should feel! His cape is in the right side so It won't bother when using his sword

Leo skirt is parted at the side so he isnt limited by the cloth when fighting, talking about that! I gave him two swords mainly because hes ambidextrous but also because he gives me messy figther vibes, specially having fun when is surrounded

Tsukasa always gave me the most classical knight vibes, so he has the most simplest but not less elegant outfit! Really, search Female Knight and at least in the first five images there's someone with a similar skirt/naked legs

Now with some random ideas: i would LOVE the idea of Knights adopting Mika after he's dumped by Shu, It would be like Arashi taking care two times at week, the others one day at week and the free day they do a sleepover all together! It would be like that until him and Shu make up in the second season lmao. And yes It would be a heavy angst, the series starts with Arashi learning how to be a Magical Girl and making friends along the way and then It finish being super dramatic and sad. The only thing that could recover watchers from the finale is the classic outro where It shows everyone's getting along, Shu being scolded by Mika for being rude to someone and the final image is the graduation photo with everyone showing their diplomas and jumping like the good ol' Friends they are JWJDJJA
