Love when MtG characters go to a different plane and play dress up.
Like, they didn't have to wear cowboy clothes on Thunder Junction, but everyone did.
Very cool of the necromancers (2), assassin, demon lord, witch, pirates (2), and little skeleton guy to get all gussied up even on a plane that has only know extraplanar beings
The plane was uninhabited not that long ago, there's no need to hide that you're from somewhere else, it's all for the fashion and flavor and it's great

Outlaws of Thunder Junction Side Story Review
No Tells: I knew there had to be some indigenous species, and cactus people certainly count. Also, narrator dude, you ran away before the first sign of danger, that makes you a coward. There are ways of leaving without disappearing with money.
On the bright side, this story confirms it's been more than a year since the Phyrexian Invasion. That doesn't really explain how all the infrastructure of Thunder Junction got built, but I guess having magic makes building trains easier.
Blood Is Thicker Than Venom: Ms. Annie Flash, you couldn't even kill a couple rattlewurms without feeling guilty. You are NOT an outlaw. Glad to see your nephew is doing well; I was worried we were gonna have a morphine addiction subplot going there for a second. Also, I hope we get to meet your people someday.
A Long Way From Home: Nashi is the best boy. He's trying his best and we love him for that. The revelation that story magic is basically watching someone do something, then doing that yourself is kinda hilarious. I hope we see more of Nashi (and Obeka) in the future.

HELP
Geralf's text is cursive on my phone but comic sans on desktop. So I started reading his text in Sans' voice, and even though her text isn't in papyrus, I'm still reading Gisa's text in his voice!
WHY DOES THIS WORK SO WELL

Geralf and Gisa; both illustrated by Chris Rahn
Geralf just wants to study the effects of planar travel on magic wielders and Gisa's over here planning on making the Multiverse into Zombieland.

I really enjoy the Cecani siblings from Innistrad. Now since their characters are locked in a sibling rivalry and strong necromancers, I assume at some point one will die and in their grief the other will have a character arc dealing with it. Which way I want such to occur I can't decide, so I made two cards based on each option. The idea here with each card is one sibling has resurrected the other, but since each uses a different style of necromancy are trying...then failing, to act like the other type.
Geralf, Ghoul Called. The timeline where Geralf dies, and Gisa floods his body with Black Mana as per her Ghoulcalling, however his new body is mute, can only broadly staple together corpses, and lacks the artistic flair he used to have. Art is from Stitcher Geralf, and the flavor text if meant to be a reference to Ghoulcaller Gisa.
Gisa, Work of the Stitcher. The timeline where Gisa dies, and Geralf searches for the best corpses...maybe even freshly making some, to use and remake Gisa as best her can. However her new form lacks the uncontrollable dark-whimsey she lived will, and because her Ghoulcalling spellcraft was so linked to her as a person just having her body is not enough. As such the zombies created have energy flowing out making them weaker and short lasting. Art and flavor text reference from Geralf, Visionary Stitcher.
I will admit I was not thinking too much about balance making these, was going more for flavor of each trying to replicate how they felt the others worked. Thank you for your tim
