Ahaaa!! Don't worry! I did not forget you, @amiquinn99! <3 Ami made a request a long time ago. I wasn't sure when I'd have time to get to it, but here it is! It was a really cute mental image, just two peeps hanging out and chatting about whatever's on the data pads. (Fun side note. I actually re-watched a few scenes just to find what Resistance data pads looked like. haha. These are screen accurate data pads, I'll have you know!)

I only had one facial reference to go off of for the OC "Ami Quinn". Hopefully I did her justice. Norath is adorable as ever. I imagine they're looking at specs for a new star fighter or sub light engine. A fun ficlet to go with this would be most appreciated, pretty please. :D

I would just like to put something out there for you Lord of the Rings/Hobbit fans! (Spoiler free)

You can take this or leave it, but please read. For those of you that are hesitant to watch The Rings of Power, please don’t be. I know people are giving it really bad reviews, but that doesn’t mean you’ll hate it. A lot of people giving hate reviews haven’t even seen the series (not all, but most, or they watch only a little bit). They just assume. Please don’t shrink away from this opportunity just because you read bad reviews. There are also really good reviews. You may really like it!

I know people who have seen all of the movies and read all of the books (and love them), and they loved the series! In fact I was just talking to one in person, and she was telling me how much she loved how it tied into the rest of the movies. She also couldn’t believe how hateful people were being towards it.

I get it, they changed some things, but I am asking you to give it a chance. Don’t go into it with a negative attitude though. I have learned from experience that if you go into it thinking you’ll hate it, you’ll hate it. Go in open with zero expectations. You may really enjoy it! And I also know that we all have different opinions and you may just not like it… but what if you do? Try it.

can i be honest i think its funny that people are being like "yes!!! they brought back proper zelda dungeons in totk!" because like. Ive only done the wind temple so far so dont spoil all the other ones for me but that was Not a zelda dungeon on the level of prior zelda games it was like botw's divine beast idea but in a prettier setting and with a much cooler boss at the end. And i am not saying that in a criticizing way i actually thought it was really good and probably my favorite type of dungeon in a zelda game so far because i fucking hate dungeons in twilight princess/wind waker/skyward sword (but especially twilight princess. id kill myself before i redid the one with stallord in it), they were so long and entirely not fun to me until the final boss. So idk i like where the game took dungeons this time around but i think its funny that Game News Websites are like so excited about "classic zelda dungeons being back" when they are not really (and thank god they are not)

I don't understand the excessive obsession with plot twists. Don't get me wrong, I like a good plot twist, I like the surprise and the feeling of questioning all I thought I knew. But that's not necessarily what I want to see in every piece of media. Stories are much more than another big surprise! It seems like everything is being weighted by how much it can surprise you, and if there's no shocking plot twist somewhere in it, then it's not a worthy story. It's depressing, honestly. I almost didn't read some of my now favorite books because people told me they're predictable and boring, so they aren't worth my time!

people are so nitpicky about sonic stuff "oh sonic is so ooc" and "new sonic game is different world again" or whatever. like??? I may be a newish fan, but from what I've seen, sonic usually has a few similar characteristics and then the rest are different and that's also going to happen to a 30 year old character!! and sonic in a different world... bud. my dude!! sonic is USUALLY in a different world. like so many of the games and stuff in the franchise, sonic is somewhere new. it happens. it keeps things interesting.

Okay so I watched Velma last night and to be honest I didn't hate it. (Please don't come for me) I thought It was very funny and it reminded me a lot of Harley Quinn. I'm actually really excited to explore her new relationship with Daphne and solve the mystery with her hallucinations. Was it like the old cartoons? No, but it wasn't trying to be. I think a lot of people missed the part where it's supposed to be an adult comedy, not the same show about kids from the 80s that you remember. I recommend that everyone try to watch it as it's own thing, not as the Scooby-Doo you grew up with. Also Velma x Daphne is such a cute couple.
