Hi hi!!!! I saw your sizzy HCs and I would love it if you did TMI gang HCs for the future when they have kids and all💗 How do they all interact with their kids/each other’s kids? That ask about Jace’s kids made me laugh I feel like his kids would have a jar for him to put money in whenever he’s too cocky, kinda like New Girl with Schmidt
simon and izzy are the go-to babysitter couple of the bunch for sure, given that they aren't running an institute or, you know, the entire clave. they're also the most likely to have a movie or game night, which the kids absolutely love
because the cousins span over a decade in ages, there seems to always be a baby to hold, and clary is always the first one to reach for them (followed by alec)
jace is stricter as a father than might be expected. not in a harsh way, but in a protective way. in a 'i want you to learn how best protect yourself and your family' way. he's definitely a teacher, in a very physical way, and loves spending time in the training room with his kids and niblings (not that this makes him any more mature or less ridiculous at his core hehe)
creativity and expression are very well supported by all members of the tmi gang, and their children develop a good amount of confidence when it comes to being themselves and not necessarily folding into shadowhunter (or warlock) norms
magnus loves taking the kids on adventures and showing them things they might never have gotten to see if they didn't have a very powerful warlock for an uncle, but he is also very protective, moreso than some of the other parents. he's seen too many people die to knowingly bear witness to human/shadowhunter recklessness in these kids he cares so much for
alec is the first one to suggest they let rafe go out on patrol, not without alec ofc. that first patrol is a fun one. jace is there too. he's muchhh less strict with his niblings than he is with his own kids, and he tends to treat them much more like how he treats kit. hence the fun hehe rafe has a blast, and the whole time alec's anxiety is through the roof.
all the cousins are scared of izzy's cooking. even if she's gotten better as the years have gone on, their parents have ingrained in them too much fear for the food she makes not to be wary when she holds out a wooden spoon with a questionable substance on it. usually the kids ask for pizza. or a delivery of chinese food (like parents like kids hehe)

Peeked at twitter again unfortunately, and apparently people are mad that this week's seasonal story update was shorter? Literally it's a season that launches with the expansion. Every single one of those was smaller and lighter on the content.
Personally, I am enjoying that this season's storyline isn't too demanding. Clearly I love when we get a lot of lore, and we still get the usual initial dialogues, a lot of new weekly mission dialogues, ending dialogues and radio message + 2 lore pages. I have so much shit to do with Lightfall AND the exotic mission launched today which added so much new stuff to do so I was super glad that I was done with the weekly story in like 20 minutes.
Obviously the story was shorter due to the exotic mission launching alongside it. This seasonal story is also shorter in general, with only 6 weeks (6 lore pages to earn) which I am honestly relieved about because there's so much Lightfall content that I'm barely catching up with and there's the pinnacle grind that's kicking my ass because I don't want to die in every activity because an enemy looked at me. I get so overwhelmed with content when an expansion launches and there's also seasonal content. Sometimes I wish we got no season with the expansion.
So many people want things to slow down a little because we simply do not have time to grind 24/7, but then there's strange people who want a weekly update to require 6 hours of investement I guess. And of course everything in those 6 hours has to be brand new content, never before seen. If I see a single blade of grass that has been used as texture before, then Bungie is lazy. Obviously. /s
The only legitimate problem with this setup is for people who didn't get the expansion and only have the season. Their season is then not the exact same quantity as others. But it's never those people that make these complaints.

TWST fic but make it Diasomnia fam:
“MOTHER!” Sebek shouts. “MOTHER COME QUICKLY! THE HUMAN CHILD IS BLEEDING!”
Silver is bleeding, that much is true. He’s also soaking wet, having fallen off of his horse and into the lily pond while trying to avoid Sebek’s swipes with their wooden practice swords.
“I’m fine, truly,” Silver repeats, and repeats again, and again, as Sebek’s mother comes out of her home and drops to her knees in front of the boys. “There’s no need to bother so much. Father will patch me up later.”
“You’re bleeding, child.” Sebek’s mother says, taking up Silver’s small hands in her own large ones. She is so tall, and Silver is so small, and it seems odd that such an imposing woman would be willing to care for so small a creature as him, but Sebek is loud and insistent, and Silver is still bleeding from the scrapes on his hands and his knees, so he allows himself to be shepherded inside by the pair of them and wrapped in a towel that is somehow warm and dry despite the dampness of the day outside.
“You should not be so quick to jump next time,” Sebek’s mother advises, smiling down at him as Silver towels off his hair. “I hear that there is more value in being on the horse than off of it.”
Silver nods. “Thank you for the advice, Lady Zigvolt. I will endeavor to keep it in mind the next time your son knocks his sword across my back.”
“Ah, I see. This was a warrior’s fall, then?”
Sebek slaps his hand down on the table. “It was the fall of one who cannot control his horse as well as I!”
“If you hadn’t startled him I would have slain you instead!” Silver shouts back, the vehemence of his reply surprising even himself. “You allowed yourself an unfair opening when you startled him with your magic!”
“YOU SHOULD HAVE CONSIDERED EVERY ANGLE OF ATTACK WHEN YOU ALLOWED ME THE OPENING, MORTAL!”
“You cheated!”
“I WOULD NEVER CHEAT! YOU ARE SIMPLY JEALOUS OF MY SUPERIOR CONTROL OVER MY MAGIC!”
“You’re jealous because I’m older!”
“Boys! Outside!” Sebek’s mother shouts over both of them, the deep rumble of thunder echoing through her voice. “I don’t want to hear any more of this. Young warriors should be lifting their companions up, not shouting at one another over such a petty matter as a training exercise.”
“Yes mother.”
“Yes Lady Zigvolt.”
“And I expect your father will be wanting you back soon, young one,” she says, looking down at Silver. “It would not be proper to keep him waiting, I think.”
Silver swallows down the flash of anger, however irrational it may be, at being reminded again of his human origins.
“I expect you’re right,” he says, instead of shouting again that his humanity is not his weakness. “Thank you for bandaging my hands.”
Sebek’s mother smiles faintly. “Of course. It would not do for a young warrior such as yourself to return home bleeding all over the place. Send your father my best, please.”
