It freaks me out that people fuckin revered Sephiroth while he was killing Wutaians, but when it were people in Nieblheim, he is suddenly a mass murderer?? like wtf. Those folks in Nibelheim effing KISSED the ground he walked on, wanting pics for posterity, to dine with him and whatnot. Um, helllooo?? You praised the guy for being good at his work, you considered hima goddamn hero BECAUSE he was a trained killer..but as soon as he turned on them they took off rose-tinted glasses and went OOOOH HE'S A MURDERER. Well guess what, he was and you were fine with it

I get what you're saying, and you make a reasonable point. For certain, there is an aspect of in-universe double standards being applied to Sephiroth and, by extension, the ShinRA and Wutai conflict. However, the way you phrased your idea is a touch crude, and it may mislead readers into thinking that you believe Nibelheim's inhabitants had it coming. So, as a preface, let me state unequivocally that they did not. They did not deserve it, regardless of how hypocritical or ignorant their ideas may have been. Now with that out of the way...

People in Nibelheim, Midgar, and pretty much anywhere ShinRA had established its turf saw Sephiroth as this larger-than-life hero who turned the tide of the Wutaian campaign (which, by the by, was a fabrication contrived to bolster ShinRA's recruiting numbers). It never occurred to the typical citizen that “being a war hero” entailed — directly or indirectly — murdering or otherwise harming people, potentially including civilians as collateral damage. Regular citizens, just like Nibelheim residents, in places just like Nibelheim. The difference was that the violence was happening off-screen and elsewhere. On Wutai's land — under false pretenses meant to conceal ShinRA's true goal of establishing an economic & power supply hegemony... Point being, it didn't involve them. The townpeople seemed utterly unaware of anything. Children like Cloud and Zack were transfixed by the romanticized notions of SOLDIER and war glory. Heck, even little Tifa during her water tower date with Cloud goes “SOLDIERs are heroes, heroes save people”. So when Sephiroth razes Nibelheim, people call him a monster, despite the fact that this is something they were okay with being done to *others*. Wutai, Rhadore—you name it. They regarded Sephiroth as if he were a celebrity, despite the fact that his trade and status as a Wutai war hero involved death and efficient destruction.

I suppose it is a testament to both Shinra's propaganda machine and the way society operates. An everyman is complacent and self-absorbed, relying heavily on the comfort of routine. It's very easy to cultivate a "us vs. them" and "rules for thee and not for me" mentality when you provide every gift of civilization, including jobs, amenities, and power supply, as well as exert control over the media to disseminate a favorable angle (all of which ShinRA is involved in). People in Midgar were certain of Wutai espionage machinations because Wutai was appointed as The Enemy, so to an average Joe ShinRA had every right to eliminate hostile foreign elements and their supposed allies, such as Avalanche. After all, ShinRA is the benefactor, Wutai is treacherous, and combat zone is far away, so who cares what happens there?

The same teenage Sephiroth appeared to struggle with reconciling killing Rhadoran youth and the elderly, and when Glenn questioned him, he reverted to spouting propaganda pieces supplied to him by ShinRA. Only after this does he begin to display signs of uncertainty in his actions, which Glenn notices. Or take Zack in Crisis Core for instance. It does not seem to register with him that by bombing Angeal's and Genesis' hometown ShinRA is pulling up a dirty black-op (and Rebirth further underscores that cover-ups were a regular ShinRA response, fake Nibelheim or Corel cleansing being such examples). He doesn't begin to seriously question their modus operandi until much later.

So to quote Barret, “screw ShinRA for deceiving honest folk” by brainwashing them and conditioning people to see the company as a sole source of good. Regardless of the ignorance and double standards that ShinRA city folk might have shown regarding Wutai and the nature of Sephiroth’s trade, Nibelheim is still a tragedy, and these people needn't have died. Just like people in Wutai needn't have died for ShinRA's lofty goals. That said, the way SE portrayed the average folk attitude is true to life and quite reflective of society. People care about whatever media tells them to care about and repeat whatever narrative is drilled into them. That's how it works.

11th Hour Audio Challenge 2023

Well, this is a lovely surprise!

During October, 11th Hour Audio encourage producers, writers, actors and sound designers to come together to create an original piece of audio drama horror within 28 days.

After all the productions have been released, a panel of judges listen to decide on their Creator Recognition awards.

I was delighted to be awarded the Scream Quing for best voice acting performance in a horror show for my roles as Elizabeth in the gothic Victorian melodrama The Vacant Sea - A Widow's Walk and Hare in the zombie caper Alas, Poor Stuart.

Teoria di unificazione delle forze fondamentali

La strabiliante teoria del Quasi Tutto. Dagli elettroni fino ai quark. Quali sono le particelle elementari della materia? Viaggio tra la tavola di Mendeleev, lo "zoo di particelle" e il Modello standard. Nel 1969 l’accademia svedese insignì Murray Gell-Mann con il premio Nobel per la fisica “per i suoi contributi e scoperte nella classificazione delle particelle elementari e delle loro interazioni”. Proprio questo tema è stato il focus principale dell’ultimo articolo in cui abbiamo introdotto i “quark”, alcuni degli ingredienti di cui sono composte le particelle che compongono la materia (leggi qui). Quello era solo un assaggio: oggi la ricetta completa. Vi avevamo raccontato come tutti gli elementi conosciuti nel ‘800 potessero essere ordinati secondo le loro proprietà nella tavola periodica di Mendeleev e che quest’ordine scaturisse dal fatto che tutti gli elementi sono costituiti da sole tre particelle fondamentali: elettroni, protoni e neutroni. La soddisfazione per aver individuato i componenti essenziali della materia non durò a lungo: a partire dagli trenta vennero scoperte decine e decine di nuove particelle ritenute “fondamentali”.

Ci eravamo quindi lasciati al fatto che i pattern triangolari che emersero mettendo ordine in questo “zoo” di nuove particelle, portò alla teorizzazione di tre nuove particelle ancora più fondamentali, chiamate quark “up” (“sù”), quark “down” (“giù”) e quark “strange” (“strano”). Ai tre quark iniziali ne vennero successivamente aggiunti altri tre: il “charm” (“bello”), il “top” (“sopra”) e il “bottom” (“sotto”). Ve l’avevamo detto che ne avremmo incontrati di nomi bizzarri. Quello che non abbiamo ancora detto è quali sono le caratteristiche usate per organizzare tali particelle. Come abbiamo visto la scorsa settimana, Mendeleev nella sua tavola periodica degli elementi ordinò questi ultimi secondo il peso atomico e secondo alcune caratteristiche chimiche come il fatto di essere metalli o gas. Per un mazzo di carte, ad esempio, potremmo usare il colore, il seme e il numero. Nel caso dello “zoo di particelle”, invece, per organizzarle ci fu bisogno di usare caratteristiche come la carica elettrica e altre per le quali è necessario un intero corso di fisica quantistica avanzato per comprenderne le origini. “Stranezza” e “bellezza” sono solo due dei nomi evocativi che sono stati usati per chiamare queste caratteristiche che in termini tecnici vengono identificati come “numeri quantici”.

La cosa interessante è che per formare protoni e neutroni c’è bisogno solo di due tipi di quark, l’up e il down. Un protone è infatti composto da due quark up e uno down, ed il neutrone da un quark up e due down. Insieme all’elettrone, up e down sono quindi sufficienti a formare tutti gli atomi della tavola periodica e, più in generale, tutta la materia stabile che conosciamo. Ancora più interessante è il fatto che gli altri quattro tipi di quark sono, in termini di proprietà quantistiche, una copia dei quark up e down, solo più pesanti. Sono necessari a spiegare l’esistenza di particelle che vivono così poco da poter essere osservate solo in esperimenti ad alte energie (come al CERN) o nei raggi cosmici. Pensate che la particella “lambda” è considerata la Matusalemme di questo tipo di particelle, e sopravvive in media solo un miliardesimo di secondo. Come per i quark, esistono anche due copie più pesanti e instabili dell’elettrone, chiamati “muone” e “taone”. Se aggiungiamo i neutrini (ai quali ci dedicheremo in un articolo futuro), ecco che abbiamo nominato tutte le particelle elementari di materia ad oggi conosciute. Il fatto che anche i neutrini esistono a loro volta in tre versioni, neutrino elettronico, muonico e tauonico, fa emergere anche a livello sub-sub-atomico, il più elementare che conosciamo oggi, una struttura organizzativa: tre famiglie (dette generazioni) di quattro particelle ognuna (vedi l'infografica).

L’ordine nella tavola periodica scaturiva dalla presenza di allora sconosciute particelle subatomiche, così come l’ordine tra le particelle dello “zoo” portò alla scoperta delle particelle ancora più fondamentali che abbiamo descritto in questo articolo. La domanda può quindi sorgere spontanea: si cela qualcosa anche dietro la struttura organizzativa di queste particelle elementari, dietro l’esistenza di due versioni più pesanti ed instabili, ma altrimenti identiche, delle particelle della prima colonna? Siamo veramente arrivati agli “atomi” democritei nel senso stretto del termine, ovvero agli elementi indivisibili, o il nostro viaggio può continuare? Anche se al momento non abbiamo alcuna evidenza sperimentale del fatto che queste particelle che abbiamo descritto possano essere a loro volta composte da elementi più elementari, come potete immaginare non siamo i primi a porci queste domande. Diversi gruppi di ricerca lavorano già da decenni per trovare la risposta. Avrete sicuramente sentito parlare, per esempio, della Teoria delle Stringhe. Fra le tante cose che cerca di fare come “teoria del tutto” c’è quella di descrivere tutte le particelle presentate in questo articolo come oscillazioni di elementi più fondamentali, le stringhe appunto. Metti ora caso che la teoria delle stringhe sia corretta e possa essere testata (siamo molto lontani per ora), troveremmo un ordine, un’organizzazione tra le stringhe a suggerire un ulteriore step di divisione? Insomma, l’enigma di Aristotele e Democrito è lungi dall’essere risolto (se mai potrà essere risolto), ma continua da più di 2000 anni a spingerci verso nuove scoperte, verso nuovi livelli di comprensione di ciò che ci circonda.

Un’ultima precisazione: se tornate un attimo all’immagine qui sopra noterete che alle tre famiglie descritte in questo articolo, ci sono altre cinque particelle fondamentali. Non temete, le affronteremo più in dettaglio in articoli dedicati. Basti sapere che trasportano le interazioni che tengono insieme le particelle e danno loro massa. Infine, per ogni particella va considerata la sua antiparticella (ne abbiamo parlato qui), così da completare la moderna “tavola periodica” delle particelle elementari. Queste ultime, insieme alle loro interazioni, sono racchiuse in una teoria dal nome noioso, il “Modello Standard”, ma che per completezza e quantità di conferme sperimentali andrebbe forse chiamata, come suggerito da Glenn Starkman, professore universitario in Ohio, “la Strabiliante Teoria del Quasi Tutto”. Quasi, appunto, perché c’è una grande esclusa tra le interazioni che questo modello è capace di descrivere, la forza con la quale siamo più familiari: la forza di gravità. Bonjour, nous sommes le samedi 4 janvier 2020 et, cet après-midi, c’est l’enterrement du Général Soleimani, tué par un drone américain dans la nuit d’avant-hier. On ne sait pas ce qui va se passer. Tout le monde est d’accord pour dire qu’on n’en a pas la moindre idée mais que l’explosion est… on n’est pas loin d’une explosion, que l’assassinat de ce général considéré comme peut-être même le n° 2 en Iran est une déclaration de guerre des États-Unis vis-à-vis de l’Iran dans une escalade qui a eu lieu ces jours derniers. Je ne vais pas vous parler de ça puisqu’on ne sait pas ce qu’il va se passer.

Je voudrais revenir sur un mystère. C’est cette affaire que je vous ai signalée le 10 décembre, il n’y a pas même un mois. C’était au lendemain de la présentation du rapport de M. Horowitz devant le Sénat américain, une commission du Sénat.

Ce M. Horowitz est donc une personne à qui on a demandé… c’est un inspecteur général du ministère de la Justice à qui on a demandé d’enquêter sur le départ de l’enquête qui débouchera rapidement sur la commission Mueller, l’enquête sur une collusion possible entre M. Trump et son équipe et la Russie. Et donc, ce M. Horowitz fait sa déposition et la chaîne ABC News, une chaîne de télévision américaine, relève un propos dans le rapport, rapport de 433 pages. Je vais sans doute devoir y retourner de manière plus approfondie que le regard que j’ai posé jusqu’ici, dont j’avais retenu essentiellement qu’il était apparu que le FBI planque parfois de l’information chez des suspects. Ça ne m’avait pas paru de la valeur d’un scoop puisque, à ma connaissance, toutes les polices du monde font exactement pareil. Mais, il y avait donc ce qu’ABC avait repris, c’était le propos de M. Steele, M. Christopher Steele qui est un ancien espion britannique, qui est l’auteur d’un « dossier Steele » qui contient en particulier des informations disant que M. Trump est depuis 2013 compromis du côté russe, ayant fait des choses dans un hôtel qui ont été filmées et qui constituent, du coup, des éléments permettant d’exercer sur lui un chantage, que des négociations aient eu lieu à ce propos-là ou que, simplement, il soit au courant que, du côté russe, on dispose de ces informations.

Il apparaissait dans ce rapport de M. Horowitz que M. Steele avait dit aux enquêteurs qu’il n’avait pas, contrairement à ce qui a été répété du côté Républicain, d’hostilité particulière envers M. Trump et que, d’ailleurs, il avait été dans un rapport très amical avec une personne de l’entourage proche de M. Trump. Et la chaîne ABC révélait donc le lendemain, le 10 décembre, que la personne en question était Mme Ivanka Trump, la fille de M. Trump, le Président des États-Unis.

J’avais immédiatement réagi. Ce qui m’avait faire rire, c’est la manière dont cette information avait été interprétée du côté américain. Les Démocrates en particulier avaient dit : « Vous voyez, quand les Républicains disent que ce M. Steele était monté contre M. Trump, c’est pas vrai puisqu’il avait une relation étroite – « d’ordre personnel » aurait-il dit aux enquêteurs – avec Mme Ivanka Trump ! ». Et la presse en général, la presse internationale en particulier – j’ai vu ça, il y a eu un article dans Gala en France – disant « Comme c’est mignon ! ». Comme c’est mignon qu’en fait, on soupçonnait ce M. Steele d’être un ennemi mortel de M. Trump et ce n’était pas le cas PUISQU’il était en bons rapports avec sa fille.

Alors, moi, je vous ai fait une série de petits papiers là-dessus. Le jour-même où j’ai appris la nouvelle d’ABC, j’ai fait un petit truc qui s’appelle : « Dossier Steele : la bombe ». Ça, c’est le 10 décembre. Le 11, le lendemain, j’ai fait un autre papier qui s’appelle : « Dossier Steele : impeachment, etc. ». J’attirais l’attention sur le fait que le peu que je sache sur les espions, je l’ai trouvé dans les films de James Bond (je suis d’accord avec vous, ce n’est pas une très bonne information

),  il y a de bien meilleures informations de type bien documenté puisque l’auteur, M. Cornwell, qui se fait appeler John Le Carré, nous parle des relations que les espions, hommes et femmes, ont avec les gens du sexe opposé et j’avais attiré l’attention quand même sur le fait que, quand un espion est en mission et qu’il a une relation avec une personne, c’est soit une décision à lui ou à elle, soit une décision du camp d’en face, mais qu’on a rarement entendu dire que c’étaient des gens dans le même camp qui se trouvaient dans cette relation, qu’il y avait quelque chose de l’ordre du délibéré.

Alors, voilà : j’ai fait un petit plan. Je vais vous le montrer. C’est une petite chronologie, c’est vite fait. Vous voyez, il est mis « Steele » au-dessus.

Il y a une date où il est mis « Stormy Daniels ». Ça n’a rien à voir avec lui mais, en 2006, M. Trump aurait eu une relation avec Mme Stormy Daniels, actrice du cinéma porno.

J’ai mis la date de 2010 : « Fusion ». C’est la date à laquelle le bureau américain Fusion rencontre M. Steele et lui commandera le rapport qui deviendra le fameux dossier Steele. Et en-dessous de ça, je vous ai mis deux tirets, deux lignes

et l’une vient de 20 années en arrière et s’arrête en 2009 et il est mis « MI6 ». C’est la période pendant laquelle M. Steele est officiellement espion britannique, c’est-à-dire qu’évidemment, ce n’est pas écrit sur son dos mais il est employé par MI6. Il travaille pour le renseignement britannique. Jusqu’en 2009.

Et ensuite, vous voyez une ligne qui s’appelle « Ivanka » et cette ligne qui s’appelle Ivanka, c’est la durée de la relation que M. Steele aurait eue avec Mme Ivanka Trump, fille du président. Il dit que ça commence en 2007 et, effectivement, il y a des mails : « On va se rencontrer », etc. à partir de 2007. On parle de quelques années dans le rapport. D’autres personnes disent que c’était 5 ans, donc j’ai mis de 2007 à 2012.

Et qu’est-ce qui est intéressant là ? Vous l’aurez deviné, c’est le chevauchement entre les deux périodes entre lesquelles M. Steele est encore officiellement espion pour la Grande-Bretagne et la période où il a la relation avec Mme Ivanka Trump.

Bon, est-ce que c’est « mignon » ? Est-ce que ça prouve que M. Steele n’a pas une relation hostile à M. [Donald] Trump ? Ou bien, est-ce que ça prouve ou laisse entendre que, quand M. Steele a sa relation avec Mme Ivanka Trump et qu’il est encore fonctionnaire britannique employé au renseignement, qu’il y aurait peut-être un rapport entre son activité d’espion et le fait qu’il engage cette relation avec Mme Ivanka Trump ?

Alors, pourquoi est-ce que c’est particulièrement intéressant ? C’est à partir de ce livre qui, lui, nous dit que… Ce livre nous dit qu’il va nous dire toute la vérité, voilà : Crime in progress – The secret history of the Trump-Russia investigation par MM. Glenn Simpson et Peter Fritsch qui sont donc les dirigeants de cette firme Fusion qui fait des… qui s’occupe de vous trouver des informations sur quelqu’un.

Et pourquoi est-ce que c’est intéressant ? Parce que les deux bonhommes qui racontent l’histoire expliquent donc qu’ils rencontrent M. Steele en 2010 pour la première fois et que c’est en 2016, tout au bout, là [sur mon petit schéma], en 2016 qu’ils lui demandent de travailler pour obtenir le rapport qui deviendra le fameux « dossier Steele ».

En 2016, selon les auteurs, quand ils proposent à M. Steele de faire son rapport sur M. Trump, glaner ce qu’il peut trouver, il est mis « Steele confessed to not knowing very much about Trump » : en 2016, ce M. Steele admet qu’il ne sait pas grand-chose sur M. Trump.

Il ne sait pas grand-chose sur M. Trump ? Alors que, nous dit la presse : quel était le sens de la relation – en tout cas au départ – entre Mme Ivanka Trump et M. Steele ? « d’obtenir pour Mme Ivanka Trump  des informations intéressantes sur la possibilité de faire du business en Russie ».

Je vous rappelle que ce M. Steele était officiellement espion, il était spécialiste de la Russie. Il a été longtemps en poste en Russie en particulier. Je vous signale aussi que ce monsieur n’est pas un zozo : ce M. Steele, c’est quelqu’un qui a… malgré, je dirais, des origines relativement modestes, c’est quelqu’un qui – en se battant – est devenu étudiant à Cambridge et a obtenu un diplôme à Cambridge.

Alors, vous le savez, c’est un système très élitiste, les Universités d’Oxford et Cambridge, où on peut entrer en particulier si on a eu un grand-père, un arrière-grand-père, etc. [qui s’est trouvé là] : ça vous permet d’entrer. Si vous venez de la classe ouvrière – comme l’a très bien dit Mme Fiona Hill quand elle a fait une déposition, donc britannique d’origine, devenue spécialiste de la Russie et faisant une déposition devant la commission de M. Adam Schiff – « Fille de mineur, je n’avais pas beaucoup de chances d’entrer dans ce système ». C’est vrai, mais il a été possible pour M. Steele, en travaillant très dur et en faisant patte blanche, de pouvoir entrer à Cambridge. Ce qu’il a fait.

Donc, c’est quelqu’un qui… voilà, il n’a pas émergé d’une mafia quelconque pour devenir un spécialiste des affaires qu’il a faites. Non, c’est quelqu’un qui a été responsable justement de l’information sur la Russie. C’est quelqu’un qui sait de quoi il parle.

Mais, ce qu’on nous cache et qu’on ne nous dit pas, et qu’en particulier, dans ce livre qui, en principe, nous dit tout, on nous dit : « En 2016, quand on dit à M. Steele, qu’on lui demande de s’occuper de M. Trump, il tombe des nues en disant ‘Ah oui, ce gars-là, je ne sais absolument rien sur lui !’ ». Et en fait, il a enquêté officieusement ou officiellement. Il a enquêté sur Trump de 2007 à 2012. Il quitte donc son rôle d’espion officiel en 2009 mais il garde des relations amicales avec Mme Ivanka Trump pendant encore un certain nombre d’années.

Et l’autre jour, j’émettais quand même des doutes sur le fait que, quand on a été espion et qu’on n’est pas en prison, et qu’on n’est pas en fuite, qu’on coupe entièrement ses relations avec son ancien employeur… D’ailleurs, il y est fait allusion dans le livre que quelqu’un qui a travaillé pour les services secrets d’une certaine nation, s’il tombe par hasard sur quelque chose par la suite qui pourrait être d’intérêt pour sa nation qui l’employait quand même, etc., il est sous-entendu qu’il la mettrait quand même au courant. Donc, ça veut dire que, comme je le disais : quand on est espion et qu’on n’est pas en prison, on n’est pas en fuite, on continue d’une certaine manière à avoir… la ligne n’est pas entièrement coupée.

Alors, qu’est-ce que c’est que cette histoire de Steele qui a une relation avec la fille de Trump, qui prétend bien des années plus tard qu’il n’a pas le moindre idée de qui est le bonhomme quand on lui demande de travailler ? La question se pose évidemment de l’information qu’il a pu obtenir et que, quand il produit son rapport, son « dossier Steele », qu’est-ce qu’il aurait pu apprendre, de ce qui se trouve là-dedans, qu’il aurait pu savoir par le biais de Mme Ivanka Trump ?

Et là, la question qui se pose et que j’ai déjà posée, c’est : est-ce que c’est de l’information qu’il lui a soutirée à son insu ou bien est-ce que c’est de l’information qu’elle lui aurait offerte volontairement ? Quand on a une relation qu’on appelle « personnelle », ou « d’ordre personnel », il y a des deux, n’est-ce pas : on peut poser des questions, et l’autre peut dire des choses.

Donc voilà, je ne m’intéresse pas seulement, vous l’avez compris, aux ours qui pourraient se promener éventuellement dans l’Oural. Ce qui attire toujours mon attention, c’est ce qui me paraît une anomalie et quand j’ai vu ces gens qui ont dit : « Ah, comme c’est mignon que l’espion britannique avait une relation avec la fille de Trump ! » (c’est tout juste s’ils n’ont pas dit : quelle coïncidence !).

Voilà, je vais continuer à fouiller. Je n’ai pas fini de lire le livre Crime in progress. Je vais retourner pour lire avec attention dans le rapport de M. Horowitz, les 433 pages (j’espère qu’il y a un index pour essayer d’aller regarder tout particulièrement ce qui a pu être échangé avec M. Steele).

Ce qu’on entend dire, c’est que M. Steele n’a pas voulu dire grand-chose mais, enfin, il a déjà dit quelque chose d’intéressant en soi : qu’il avait eu une relation avec quelqu’un de proche de Trump et dont la presse a trouvé le lendemain matin qu’il s’agissait de la fille de Trump.

Je continue de vous informer. Quand j’ai fait un des papiers qui s’appelait : « Dossier Steele : impeachment, etc. », le 10 décembre, c’est aussi le moment où on avait appris que les deux articles d’impeachment avaient été votés par la Chambre des députés aux États-Unis et j’avais dit dans mon papier : « Il y a deux informations aujourd’hui : l’une considérée comme très très importante et l’autre comme anecdotique ». Très importante : l’impeachment de Trump au niveau de la Chambre et celle sans grande importance, la liaison Ivanka Trump – Steele. Et je vous avais dit : « À mon sens, la plus importante des deux, ce n’est peut-être pas celle qu’on croit ».

Je vais continuer à fouiller dans cette direction-là et je vous tiens au courant. Allez, à bientôt !

TCBC - Spider Man: Into Spider Verse

Người Nhện: Vũ trụ mới - Khi hàng loạt “Người Nhện” cùng xuất hiện tại Brooklyn

Sony đang dần mở ra một vụ trũ điện ảnh mới xoay quanh nhân vật Người Nhện. Tom Holland đang khẩn trương cho bộ phim Spiderman: Far from home. Kẻ thù màn ảnh đầu tiên của Người Nhện là Venom cũng vừa ra mắt công chúng, mở đầu một vũ trụ nhỏ xoay quanh người hùng giăng tơ. Tuy nhiên, Sony vẫn khai thác thêm về anh chàng này ở một câu chuyện khác, một câu chuyện được kể bằng đồ họa vi tính nơi không chỉ có một mà rất nhiều Người Nhện cùng xuất hiện. Một vũ trụ khác biệt với dòng thời gian hiện tại và ở câu chuyện này, ngôi sao không phải là Peter Parker mà là cậu bé da màu mang tên Miles Morales.

Spider Man: Vũ Trụ Mới

Đối với khán giả quen thuộc với Spider Man qua các bộ phim điện ảnh, Miles Morales có lẽ là một cái tên xa lạ. Cậu bé xuất hiện lần đầu tiên trong loạt truyện Ultimate Marvel vào năm 2011. “Nhện teen” Miles Morales không chỉ là người hùng thầm lặng của thành phố New York, mà còn là một cậu thiếu niên đang dần trưởng thành. Từ những rắc rối ở trường học đến người bố cảnh sát phiền toái, có lẽ Người Nhện cũng có những mối lo của riêng mình hơn cả việc cứu nhân loại. Bộ phim sẽ theo chân cậu bé từ một người hùng vô danh trở nên xứng tầm với cái tên Người Nhện.

Tuy nhiên, khán giả đừng vội lo lắng vì chàng Spider Man quen thuộc của chúng ta – Peter Parker vẫn sẽ xuất hiện trong bộ phim, với cương vị là tiền bối dẫn dắt cậu bạn nhỏ. Dù cho hình tượng của anh khác xa so với trước đây với râu tóc bù xù, bê tha và có chút luộm thuộm.  Miles đã tin rằng mình là Người Nhện duy nhất cho đến khi Peter Parker xuất hiện. Anh đã tiết lộ cho cậu rằng Vũ trụ mà họ đang sống chỉ là một trong số các Đa Vũ Trụ, họ không phải là những Người Nhện duy nhất trên cõi đời này.

Peter Parker trở thành người hướng dẫn cho cậu bạn nhỏ với kinh nghiệm chiến đấu qua rất nhiều bộ phim của mình.

Trailer đầu tiên của ‘Spider-Man: Vũ Trụ Mới’ khiến cho cộng đồng fan của Marvel đứng ngồi không yên. Người hâm mộ háo hức và mong chờ về một bộ phim hoạt hình đặc biệt kết hợp giữa rất nhiều nhân vật cùng mang tên Spider Man. Và một lần nữa, Sony đã mang thêm rất nhiều điều bất ngờ trong trailer mới nhất của bộ phim này, khẳng định sự độc nhất vô nhị trong tất cả các bộ phim trước đây về người hùng giăng tơ.  

Không chỉ tiết lộ thêm về kẻ phản diện của bộ phim, trailer cũng đã cho khán giả thấy bộ sậu Người Nhện của phim. Nhờ sự đa chiều của Vũ trụ, giờ đây tất cả các anh hùng bắn tơ được gặp gỡ lẫn nhau và cùng chung tay chống lại kẻ thù. Một số nhân vật đặc biệt như Spider Man Noir phiên bản đen tối do Nicholas Cage lồng tiếng, hay Spider-Ham cũng sẽ xuất hiện trong trailer. Và hóa ra, Spider Gwen không phải bóng hồng duy nhất khi trailer lần này tiết lộ thêm về một nữ Người Nhện cực kì dễ thương. Cô bé Peni Parker phiên bản 2D được tạo hình vô cùng nhí nhảnh đáng yêu sẽ do Kimiko Glenn lồng tiếng. Tập hợp Spider Man vô tình bị kéo đến Brooklyn của cậu bé Miles do âm mưu của Prowler/Aaron Davis. Và nếu không thể diệt trừ kẻ thù, họ sẽ không thể trở về thế giới của mình được. Jake Johnson, người lồng tiếng cho Peter Parker đã nói về mối quan hệ giữa các Người Nhện rằng: “Mỗi nhân vật đều có khả năng đặc biệt và trông họ có vẻ chẳng cần đến ai, nhưng cuối cùng họ vẫn phải tương trợ lẫn nhau”

Spider Man: Vũ Trụ Mới đã là bộ phim thứ 19 về Siêu anh hùng nhà Marvel, và Sony cần phải tạo một dấu ấn khó quên cho khán giả. Để thực hiện điều đó, nhà sản xuất đã thay đổi phong cách dựng phim, khiến nó trở nên khác biệt hoàn toàn với các bộ phim hoạt hình 3D thường gặp. Sự pha trộn giữa công nghệ 3D hiện đại của Hollywood cùng nét vẽ tay truyền thống của Nhật Bản đã tạo cho bộ phim những khung hình thú vị. Đối với những người yêu mến anime, một loại hình văn hóa 2D của Nhật Bản, hẳn khán giả sẽ rất ấn tượng với cô bé Peni Parker tinh nghịch cùng chú robot SP//dr suit tối tân.

Liệu rằng nước đi độc đáo này của Sony có thể thay đổi công nghệ phim hoạt hình 3D trong tương lai hay không, khi để những thước phim vẽ tay đồng hành cũng những chuyển động bằng đồ họa? Spider Man: Vũ Trụ Mới sẽ trả lời cho câu hỏi này.

Bộ phim Spider Man: Vũ Trụ Mới sẽ dược ra mắt vào tháng 12, là một trong những bộ phim “phải xem” của mùa Giáng sinh này.
