Just finished the game and!!! It was good. Some aftermath convos and cuts/slides would be great, but even without them it was very satisfying!

Also Zevlor showed up to help me alongside other allies and I screamed. And Mol. And Arabella. And Rolan! 4 beloved tieflings out of 4.

Also the mercy kill of Orpheus (turned illitid) was very satisfying in terms of turned good Durge who used to murder bc father said so and for fun and now deals mercy kill probably for the first time in his life. It truly feels like his story went the full circle.

Also the Elder Brain recognizing Durge as its creator and saying it would follow and obey Durge, but not Ketheric, Orin and Gortash (who, Brain says, immediately started fighting like children the moment Durge was out of the picture) was AWESOME.

Brb gotta go find our wayward 7000 vampire spawns and help them to adjust.

Also Yenna is 100% Durge's child now. Astarion hasn't signed for co-parenting? Well, he better sign the fuck up real quick bc Yenna is coming to Underdark with them.

a little upset with the chiyo change tbh. i didn't realize or know chiyo was going to undergo a COMPLETE remodel/rework but seeing erissa is just ... man. i understand where people were coming from with their criticisms on chiyo's design but it feels even more backhanded that they just straight up made her (afaik) white.

erissa doesn't have much ... personality? to her design? it's an alright design by her lonesome, but it doesn't signify chaos to any degree. this is just a tiktok influencer to me. and she doesn't seem like an actual child anymore. chiyo was fun in the regards that she's clearly meant to be a rambunctious tweenager and could be seen as such, but now this is just. Ambiguous Older Teen/Young Adult to me.

i don't agree with their solution to chiyo criticism being "oh let's just not make her japanese!" because her being japanese wasn't . the problem? so.

my favourite part of season 5 is still the reveal that Gabriel and Tomoe thought Adrien and Kagami made the perfect pair and wanted them to be together because it completely flips their relationship

realizing a lot of the people around me are fucked in the head when i got picked in a stupid game as the group's most irresponsible person because i fuck around at my job due to im not an idiot (dont let my job dictate my life) or a coward (am aware my livelihood is not tied so much to my current job which doesn't offer continuity beyond a 1 year contract as to my ability to sell my time due to my #marxist influences and also having lived a life on planet earth like before this moment and for a number of years so i wont go beyond what im getting paid at all ever) when i am 1 employed 2 independent 3 doing just fine. like oooh i get it. you guys think letting your job rule your life and not the other way around is responsible and not just sucking all meaning out of life. cause you're insane

truly you have to participate in the compliment economy. random compliments are so rare but it's not because you don't deserve them! our discomfort with engaging with other people makes it so that only some people take the initiative to give compliments in the first place, and that's really only if there's something standout about the person they're complimenting. it doesn't have to be that way. get comfortable with telling people that you like their clothes or their hair or that they have nice eyes or a good smile or a pretty laugh or that you admire the way they carry themself or like their music taste or just that you think they're nice or smart or cool. put a little delight out into the world! once you've done that, it opens up similar dialogues bit by bit... and as a secret special bonus, when you tell someone something nice, they're often very happy to have a chance to tell you something nice in return :)
