So me and three of my friends started a minecraft server(2.0,we gave up on 1.0,it was a bit stressful at the time, but 2.0 looks good!) and of course it's modded lovingly by two of my friends. They added in some building mods which I greatly enjoy because I am a builder by heart but they also added stuffed animals, more trees and biomes, etc.
In one of the mods there are goblin traders. Tiny goblin dudes just spawning in your world who can trade you trash for really good stuff and even really rare and expensive stuff for very little.
So after we all settled into our homes,me and my best friend @dragonscereals picking almost the same type because we share one singular braincell and it screams for island on a lake surrounded by mountains,we started doing our own stuff, building and making farms.
And as I was working on the first layer of the Tyrverne(the tavern from my dnd campaign which I will use later for the promised comic) a goblin trader appeared in the water.
You see, these goblin traders are small and extremely cute,so of course I grabbed a nametag and together with cereals the little goblin trader received the name 'Olaf'
But! Olaf disappeared on the next day. Distraught we searched for him. To no avail and gave up the search, thinking he might've dispawned.
The following day though there he was,on the steps of the tavern, like he had waited for us to come back on. I let him in,walls already build for the first layer and having now a door and he explored the rooms! He ran around looking at the stoney walls and purple windows and my chaos of a chest monster in the future kitchen.
He hasn't left the tavern since, always coming towards me when I log on and sometimes gently pushing me around when I'm trying to find something in my chests or inventory. Olaf also looked at the first roof and the beginning of the second floor, balancing on the wooden beams supporting the not layed out yet floor. There is also a decorative skeleton at the entrance which he likes a lot because he danced on it for quite some time
He is like my child which I found literally on the water while fishing and took home

Question for people that have played BG3: what subclass fits Karlach's canon story the best? I'm on my first playthrough and from what little I know from fic Wildheart seems unlikely (as useful as Speak With Animals might end up being) but Berserker seems kind of ~mean to her (violence and disregard for herself in battle when supposedly she's a sunshine? :( ) but I've never seen Wild Magic brought up in fic but idk maybe it's a close analogue for her heart going wacko sometimes?
Please advise (with minimal spoilers)

Week 1: ? Back at it again, todays origin is goblin,I think of this character as a sort of wandering trader, that will totally not scam you out of 50 emeralds, they live in a cave underground. (Thank you leaf4e for suggesting the origins pack) :)

I was having a dream where I was making some kind of bg3 story mod and other people were getting involved because they wanted THEIR tavs in the story. I started to accommodate them only to have all 6-10 of them say that their tav was a caravan trader and needed to be inserted as such into the narrative.
All of you?!?!? Can't one of you be a long-lost princess of Cormanthor or something???? Please???

GIANT CHAOS FIGHT IN THE GOBLIN CAMP!!!
So I managed to recruit the ogres for free, and then I released Halsin, took out Minthara and Gut, and started a MASSIVE battle in the big hall.
The Plan:
1. Release spiders
2. Summon ogres
3. Bait out Raglin and his group
4. Try not to die before everyone else does.
Now I will say, I didn’t realize that you have to literally go shoot Raglin from the doorway of his room in order to have him join the fight. And I had to do it fast before all the enemies in the hall died, because ogres will only fight until the battle ends.
So that part was sort of frantic and my team did end up having to jump into the spider pit and take damage to escape getting murked by Razlin. And they still got shot at.
But once we all got back up the spider pit stairs and out of reach, the ogres fought Razlin while Astarion and my Druid did range attacks.
In the end it was only us and one ogre standing. Lea’zel had gone down twice, we were all out of spell slots, and we’d used up a handful of healing potions on top of that. But nobody died!
The fight took FOREVER. We took out two massive rooms of enemies, including that torture guy, and the hardest boss in camp. AND we didn’t have to pay the ogres* AND the leader of the ogres died, so we got his magic intelligence crown thing.
I love it when a plan comes together.
—————-
*I wasn’t going to anyway lol, I was hoping they would die in battle so I could get their stuff.**
**the surviving ogre wandered off somewhere. I don’t know if he would have demanded payment without the leader alive.
