You let out a sigh of irritation at the fact it seemed either he forgot or didn't bother it as a big deal. "When that damn groupie was all over you." You grumbled out with a tense face. He stared at you for a moment, before letting go of your cheeks and shaking his head. "So, that's what the issue was." He sighed out, looking at you with small guilt, but he still didn't approve of your way of getting this conversation out.. "So you decided on being a fucking whore?" Just then, you heard the bell above the door ring, meaning finally another customer. You stood up from leaning over the counter, grabbing a few menus, just incase, and walking towards the door. Not realizing who it was that walked in until you looked up.

Meanwhile, not too long before.

Rafe was woken by the sound of his father in his doorway, yelling at him for The activities from last night at the party. His pillow being pushed down against his head in order to block out the noise of his annoying father shouting, until he remembered what happened, with you. He shot up in his bed, Ward shutting the door. He looked next to him to see nothing. You were gone. Why the hell did you leave?

The boy got out of bed, walking around to your side. Noticing the way you pulled the sheets up and fixed it as if he wouldn't be changing them. He also noticed, when he looked next to the bed at one of his nightstands which stood on the side you spend the night on, Your necklace. Specifically the necklace you told Rafe the meaning behind. It was the necklace you had from your mother who passed around the same time Rafes did.

The necklace had a R on it, for your moms name. But you also told rafe it meant for both his, and your mothers name. You liked to believe so. They were both such important people in your life. 

Rafe, Knowing how bad it was to keep the necklace from you, took it off the nightstand and he placed it in his pocket. He knew it was wrong, but he wasn't giving it back to you. At Least not yet. 

Rafe got dressed, in his striped blue polo and khaki shorts. With his jacket since the rain was coming down outside. The hurricane on its way was not shy of hiding it was coming. Not one bit. The sky was filled with dark rain cloud, and it was windier than ever. 

He knew where you worked, so he knew exactly where he was headed after he dealt with whatever shit his father needed him for. And if you weren't at work, he knew to check with your father at your house. Your father was like Rafes, even after you broke up. That's why you always spend time with the pogues. SInce your father is always out golfing, or doing something with Rafe. It annoyed you, .

Looking up, your eyes met Rafes, standing next to him was jack. It was a surprise to you, and alice, who stood at the counter, her mouth open, covered by her hand. Rafe hadnt step foot in the wreck since you broke up. Well, now, hooked up. But that's besides the point. Why was he here now? What more could he possibly want?

You swallowed, hard. But doing your best to give them a smile, “Welcome, Just the two of you?” They nodded, following behind you as you led them to a Both in the far right corner, seating them. Handing them the menus, Your hand was brushed over by Rafes, You couldn't keep his eyes off of you.

“U-uh, could i get you two started with drinks?” You pulled out your notebook, “ill take a beer, what about you Rafe?” Jack said, smirking agt Rafe from across the table. “Ill have a vodka soda,” He stated, shutting his menu. “Oh, do you think we could just order our food now too?” Jack laughed, You turned back around walking towards there table. “Sure, What would you guys like?” 

“Ill get the fried eggs, with the side of bacon. Oh, And could you add your friend over theirs number?” He asked, referring to alice. You cringed, writing down his order. “She has a boyfriend. But everything else sounds good,” you finish writing his order, ready to take Rafes when jack scoffs in annoyance regarding your reply. 

“I'm sorry, is there a problem? Because i'd be more than happy to show you the exit.” You smiled, crossing your arms as the boy shook his head. You, accepting his answer, turned to rafe, “I'm good with just the drink, thanks anyway, pretty girl.” Your face, turning a bright shade of pink at the nickname. You turned, “Ill be right back with your drinks.” And once again, You were stopped by a hand grabbing the wrist of your left arm, almost causing you to trip. 

You turned back around, for the second time. Your lips parted as you looked down at what Rafe was holding in his other hand. Your panties, Red lace ones from the night before, to be exact. He dangled them up in the air, everyone who was looking in that direction would have seen. “Was gonna keep ‘em, Thought you might have wanted them back though.” The boy had enough courage to smile as he shoved them into your pocket. Jack, on the other hand, was almost shitting himself from laughing. 

“Screw you.” You hissed, hot tears slipping down your cheeks, turning around and storming off back into the kitchen. ‘Yough already did, sweetheart.” Rafe yelled out. Alice watched the way you pushed past her, the look and tears on your face said everything she needed to know. “Motherfucker.” She whispered, watching as the two both in the booth sat laughing. Following behind you into the back where the staff kept these belongings. 

“I don't know what the fuck happened out there, but you can take the rest of the day off if you need to.” alice said, walking next to where you stood. You covered your red-tear filled face with your hands, sliding down the wall as alice followed. “Sh. it's ok. Hes just an obsessive ex, hes a jerk.” You couldn't help but shake your head. It wasn't even that

She was saying that, it was the fact you lied to her. She was the person you went to. And you couldn't even tell her what happened.

“Ill call my dad-” You sobbed, taking out your phone. Alice put her hand over yours. “I already did. He's on his way.” 

You bit your bottom lip, falling farther back against the locked door. “I'm sorry.” you sniffed, “I-i didn't think he'd come in here like this.” Your left hand flew to your face, wiping the tears that previously coated your face. “Its not your fault, Y/n. Exs suck. Plus, it was bound to happen at some point, he hasn't come in here since the two of you broke up.”

You shook your head, you couldn't stand yourself for lying to her. All you wanted to do was just break down and tell her every detail. “This is going to be fun to explain to my dad,” You laughed, “He treats Rafe like his son. He never believes a single thing I say about Rafe that isnt perfect..” 

Alice hissed, her teeth pushing together, “I could imagine. It wasn't my dad, but my mom, she was the exact same way with one of my exs. Sometimes he still comes over,” She pushed the damp cloth under your eyes and onto your cheeks. Wiping off any evidence that these were tears, or even the fact of you were crying. “You wanna take the back door out?” She removed the cold cloth from your face and you opened your eyes. You nodded, slowly pushing yourself up from the spot on the floor. 

“What are you gonna do about them?” You wiped down your skirt, picking your purse off of the floor. “Oh, don't worry. Just gonna let them sit there until they realize no one's serving them. They'll get the hint.`` You couldnt help the way you laughed at the situation that could cause someone here to lose their job, But they deserved it. Hearing a honk come from somewhere outside of the wreck, you knew it was your dad. 

“Thank you.” You mouthed, running out the door, Getting to your dads truck before you became soaked from the rain. You could've sworn the rain was coordinated with your emotions. When it Rains, it pours, that's for sure.

The Lights constantly flickered for the past few hours. Even For living on figure eight, it came as no surprise. 

“Y/N. Suppers ready.” You heard your stepmom yell from the bottom of the steps . Her and your Father were cooking a huge dinner, god knows why, guessing it was for leftovers once the storm hit. Yet, you had no clue how you would heat it up. The generator wasn't going to last for however long the power cuts out for. 

As you made your way down the stairs you could smell cookies being baked with the faint smell of what supper was. Sitting at the dining table your step-mother handed you a paper plate, with a slice of pizza on it from the pizza place on the boardwalk. “Didn't you guys make supper?” You questioned them, “We did. The food we made is for the storm, and so are the cookies being made. So don't touch it until then.” You rolled your eyes. Your step sister, who was a couple of years younger than you, took a seat next to you. “How much longer until this stupid storm starts, some of my friends have already lost power.” She scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest. 

Your step-sister Charlie, you swear, is 13 going on 30. She is a brat, spoiled at that. She is most definitely their favorite child, no matter how much they deny it. It's not like it bothers you any, you just wished you could have your father back. To the way it was before her and her mother came along. No matter how happy he is now.

The dinner table was always filled with awkward silence. Sure, there would be a few conversations between your dad and stepmom here and there, but besides that, Charlie was always on her phone, and you never had any ideas on what to say. What could you say, It was a relief to finish eating. Most days you'd even pretend you were full to just go back up to your room.

Finishing supper, you threw your plate into the garbage, heading back up to your room. You shut your bedroom door behind you, letting yourself fall onto your bed. Listening to the rain hit the window outside for a few moments before you picked up your phone. Notifications almost immediately lighting up your face from your screen.

Sitting up from laying down, you pressed sarah's contact, calling her number. It was Fear bubbled inside your chest, imagining any possible scenario as to what this is about. Did she find out about the two of you guys hooking up? Did Something Bad happen to Rafe? Your mind wouldn't stop, biting your nails before the phone went straight to the answering machine, then again, then again. It didn't surprise you, it was almost a half hour ago that she texted you. 

“Y/N.” Your stepmom cried out, opening up your bedroom door. “Get your stuff, we have to go to the hospital, your fathers already in the truck. Hurry.” You looked at her dumbfounded, Being no surprise this had something to do with Rafe seeing the texts Sarah sent you. 

You grabbed your purse, along with your phone. Throwing on a sweater. You went as fast as you could down the steps and into the garage, getting in the back seat on his truck. Noone said a single thing. Except, Charlie wasn't in the vehicle with you. “What happened?” You asked, fear lacing your voice. It wasnt that you knew, but you could feel as if something happened. Something bad. 

“Rafe got into an accident, sweetheart.” Your stepmom cooed. Trying to hold back the break in her voice that was clear to you. You scoffed, crossing your arms as you stared out through the window, the rain heavy, the sky dark. It didn't surprise you he would have gotten into an accident. Especially if he was on coke. The weather was in no way  fit to drive in. You couldn't understand why your parents cared enough to drive in it, or why they brought you along. As sympathetic as you are, Rafe was a dick. Especially from the stunt he decided to come into the wreck and pull today.

“I wonder why.” You mumbled. “What was that y/n?” Your father croaked, threat lacing over his tone. was he seriously breaking down over this? “You guys do know we're broken up. We have been for a while.” You shook your head. Your dad couldn't drive any slower if he tried. Atleast at the hospital Sarah would be there. 

“We know that, y/n. But rafe is like family to us. Whether you two are together or not. He is a great young man.” Your father yelled, you couldn't help but laugh at the way he used ‘family’. “He got into that accident because he was probably high on drugs for fucks sake! Maybe if you listened to me more and didn't treat me like a piece of glass youd know that,” 

Tears slipped out of your eyes, not only from whatever was happening now, but the thought of Rafe. No matter how much you tried hiding it. You felt horrible. Horrible for everything you said and even thought. Rafe was an ex to you, in your head but for sure not in your heart. You still loved him, so much. And the fact of seeing him hurt, hurt you. 

Noone said a word after your statement. Not too long after, your father pulled into the hospital parking lot. You did not want to go in there.

i was mistaken

anons i come to you today with an apology, my previous post seems to be based on a metric fuckton of lies and misinfo

to start, im gonna link this post, which goes over the origin of this whole issue

im also gonna go ahead and be done with censoring red, since the cat's kinda out of the bag on their edentity and its necessary for proper proof. Red = legion in all screencaps

so after my post was dropped, Red was also making their own somewhat callout on TH. i dont know if it's been deleted since frankly I don't care to find it. anyways

my post and Red's callout were both dropped like bombs in terra server, there was a lot of arguing and zaga actually gave a screen recorded video of DMs they had on instagram with Red. this was pretty damning, and lots of people came back to Red to try and figure out what really happened, seeing as Red had presented the situation as:

they were banned unfairly and out of nowhere

they had no clue who could have made the complaint

the only person who could have made it was zaga, who had issues with them based on a debate months ago and they since hadnt really interacted with them

well this turned out to be a whole crock of bullshit!

first, red showed a screencap that their last interaction with zaga was actually a week ago as opposed to being a “months old issue that is getting dragged back up” (link)

then, Red sent these screenshots that completely changed the narrative. we went from "this guy i had an argument with a few months ago is trying to get me banned everywhere" now to "i was saying crazy shit about this guy and now theyre reasonably upset with me"

and here's a discussion a few people had with zaga relating to it, gives some good context and really wraps the whole thing up

as a small afterword i want to apologize for playing a part in the spread of misinfo, hopefully this post is proper retribution for that (i do consider myself more of a reporter above all else) additionally, while it's clear now who is in the wrong/right here, there are still critiques to be made on the handling of the situation on the part of terraliens staff. The caginess with any sort of proof makes it difficult for someone to truly know what they're even being banned for, and what accusations they're defending against. the argument could be made that if proper context from staff was given, this situation wouldn't have even unfolded, but of course hindsight is 20/20. in the future it might be better to give better context or evidence to the banned person so they know what they're supposed to be proving incorrect, as opposed to saying "someone said you're harassing them, prove you didn't."

As for the others who played a part in spreading my post, I don't mean to speak for them, however it does seem like many are regretful after now seeing the full picture. since the argument was made that both sides should be heard, it was a pretty big oversight to not look for the OTHER other side in this; i think most are painfully aware of that now.

in conclusion:

do not harass anyone here. im gonna give all parties the benefit of the doubt and say that:

Legion is a misinformed, immature kid who really handled this like shit, and its probably best that theyre banned and blocked by zaga all things considered (this isnt a reason to like, pray on their downfall though. just ignore them at worst, sure they fucked up here but it seems they really just need to become more mature and learn more about best practices when interacting and dear god do not shit talk people like that)

Zaga was telling the truth about this situation. have whatever opinions you want to have about isopups or them outside of this, but there is no denying that legion presented a false situation and zaga was in fact being continually messaged and had rumors spread about them from legion

the outsiders/orbiters of the situation were given a false injustice and ran with it. personally i cant say i blame them a ton for wanting to spread the word about what seemed to be YET ANOTHER terra staff oversight, because so many people just want to bury their heads in the sand about every issue that goes on here. additionally, upon learning that the situation was severely different from how it was originally presented, many turned around and began critiquing legion for the shit they did.

i think thats about enough coverage of this, im gonna refrain from posting asks i get about the situation trying to paint a different picture since honestly it doesnt seem like it needs much more dissection. lets not beat a dead horse.

ok i need to write out the isolation after choro confession i am spitballing thoughts and they need to be out NOW!!!

so to start: choromatsu confesses to ghost after theyve finished their shift at the library and are walking nearby the riverbank

he goes on about how much he's appreciated them since theyve met and that he wants to pursue something more with them, blah blah "i-i love you!" yes. OKKK

imagine ghost feeling like glass and getting hit with a massive sledge hammer at that moment. they were always the one to say i love you, and rarely ever got confessed to about it when they were a little bit younger. and everything just stops in them like you could almost swear their heart stopped

they get physically sick and nauseous after hearing that. and almost had to lean over the bank just in case if they did get sick. ghost is silent for a LOOONNGGG while and choro gets stupid fucking anxious cause this is technically his first confession. they hate it, he tells himself, they really hate it!

imagine his disappointment when ghost tells him to wait a while before they give him an answer...

sooo atp methinks ghost wouldve gotten choro a phone... and ever since that day ghost has been Holed up at their condo and has refused to come out unless absolutely necessary (eg work or groceries) and it only spirals from there. even if choro tried looking into their condo from afar all the blinds are shut and windows closed... he cant see a thing, and he's starting to get worried.

like he is constantly trying to reach them everyday on his phone to no avail. the only thing that keeps him going is the "read" caption that he sees on texts at times. at least theyre alive...?

he doesnt know why ghost is doing this, but they do. theyve noticed him getting closer to them, and all the little things that he's been doing is making their heart hurt. they can't go through heartbreak again, they cant !

they absolutely refuse to believe choro is in love with them. or someone like them. sure, theyve teased him or flirted with him, but that was all in good fun, right?! right...? come 2 weeks after that day and ghost wakes up in their bed, tired and absolutely understimulated and weak. they dont want to get up again, but they have to. the birds need to be fed. dishes still have to be done. laundry... shower... have they changed clothes recently? they cant even remember that.

it isnt until they get a singular text from choro that they snap out of their daze, looking over to their phone on the nightstand. they can see his icon, and the special nickname they gave him as his contact name. god...

its the 23rd of the month. they last talked to him over 2 weeks prior... has it been that long? not even ghost has a clue anymore

this is where the relationship picks back up again with ghost finally taking the step and texting him back. a singular "I'm sorry" is all he could ever ask for as a reply, even if it hurt him so much.

they meet up at ghost's place and go on to talk about what happened and choro learns the full extent of why ghost has been skittish around love and distances themselves from it a lot. he reassures them he wouldnt do anything like that, and if he were to they have all rights to beat the shit out of him for it (his words not mine) and choro finally gets to see the more vulnerable side of ghost. its hard for them at first, but once they feel comfortable enough with him its opening floodgates from there

choro does help ghost get out of their isolative and depressive state dw ^-^ he cares way too much but its endearing to them that he would take time out of his day and worry himself over them. like wow....

okay ive been trying to organize my thoughts forever and its not exactly working so. i'm just gonna launch things in as short and concise as i can make it so i dont ramble incoherantly forever (/lh)

so,, i'll start with my perception of norton, because by god i think i should think about him more,,,

i'm not gonna touch on his mom because i have no clue what the fuck happened to her honestly, but i think norton's dad has always been kind of. accidentally distant? like in a way you could tell he cared for his son, but there was probably always an air of stress/tiredness about him (similar to norton as he aged) that got worse from the black lung and aging, and also the way that they were never guarenteed to have necessities all the time was something that occupied his mind a lot. (i imagine personally that while the two were never close, norton could understand the reasons why hence choosing to stay by his side once he fell bedridden)

also, while norton probably didn't work in the mines for his entire life, he'd probably do small jobs on the side to help out with funds, especially considering his lack of an (official? authentic?? i cant recall the word im looking for) education in canon, so you know. he's been aware of the concept of money and status for a while i'd assume, even moreso when he starts working in the mines as a teenager (which i'd assume is when his father's illness starts worsening as well) and people there are just. ruthless i'd imagine. considering in his trailer he looks (debatably?) younger than the other men it's probably from both a mix of him being a newer worker and possibly being worse off than them as well plus the stress on him having to be the only provider for two people, one of which is ill as well, as a teenager proobably doesnt help much with the situation either...... i've not much to add other than this, though touching on his personality in the manor, despite being reserved and a liittle grumpy he is very sweet once you get past the walls he put up! he's the type of person to help someone who needs it (albeit he may make a show of being reluctant about it) but he does know what its like to struggle and how much a helping hand could mean to someone. he's still very empathetic in my mind :]

very very briefly onto andrew because if i dont limit myself this will be soo much longer. but i'll try not to get too excited and i'll cut out most of his life (pretty much all of it up to about laz cemetary)

so basically andrew also had similar situations being born in poverty, while norton managed to gain financial security as he became a prospector (i think?) andrew didnt really. get that at all. even when working with laz (if he did, there wouldnt be a reason to be tempted by grave robbing, right???) and i personally assume people would price gouge him for the sake of him being "impure" or whatever, so even with the pay from mikhail/percy it never really lasted quite long enough,,,,

andrew only left after getting caught by marshall, and fled immediately after the (accidental) murder. (to summarize it shortly andrew panicked and stabbed him a few times with the shovel and then accidentally buried him while he was still alive in a nearby patch of dirt) and he showed up to the manor with. practically nothing. he had a change of clothes, his shovel, and some trinkets that were dear to him, and to me he kind of traveled on foot the nearly whole time to the manor (using the funds he had left from the final deal of the "slabs" to take a train as far as he could with the money)

so now like.. the actual current important thing (sorry dhsjdjfj......)

once andrew shows up to the manor he's in ah. generally pretty bad shape. and people kind of have one of two reactions of either "wow this guys one of the stranger ones" or "this guy needs. a lot of help" (depending on how you look at it) and norton kind of realizes almost immediately from andrew's general anxious demeanour and gaunt figure that he has nothing going for him, so why would he make that worse?? plus in the manor norton kind of gravitates away from nobility/aristocracy i believe and andrew is very. noticably not either of those, andrew is just grateful that norton's not reacting negatively to his very presence and he puts a lot of trust in norton. (like, norton gets a fuck ton of life stories that luca and emil dont hear about) im working on a fic of their first technical interaction and im not sure if i'll ever finish it since ive been stewing it since like.. april but they're cute to me

To be honest i dont think norton's mom is mentioned like ever. At least in nothing i personally have read. I do agree that hia family would have been distant. They were in living in poverty and it puts a strain on anyone much less a family. To me it aids in norton's cutthroat nature of just having a life of anything but the suffering of poverty.

I would love to read the fic once you finish it! I really like andrew and norton getting each other as they have both been ostracized from society for being poor and then for Andrew being albino! I was going to have a lot more to say but i dont think it would have added much to this. I will be marinating on thoughts for this thank you so much for the ramble friend!

here we go on one of my tangents but i firmly firmly firmly believe that judaism needs to completely get rid of fasting as a practice#that shit never made me feel closer to god but you know what it DID do? it made my body forget how to feel hunger!!! because my body started to learn that i will willfully ignore my hunger signals#and my body decided that my hunger signals are basically pointless. i know this probably sounds exaggeratory because we only have 6 fasts a year but im telling you i could feel my body 'training'' itself to stop feeling hungry. i watched it happen year by year did i have the ''option'' to take a medical exemption? sure. did i also have my mom in my ear telling me how RiGhTeOuS it was when people could take medical exemptions and chose not to? ALSO YES. so little ocd me WATCHED AS MY BODY LEARNED TO STOP FEELING HUNGRY. FOR YEARS. and now i dont feel hungry until i reach the point that im shaking and dizzy.

okay and to add onto all that^... today was apparently a fast day. i had no goddamn fucking clue because to be keep it real with yall i have not been practicing judaism very well for. uh. a while. because of a lot of reasons (executive dysfunction, not having the time or resources for it, ~trauma~) and jodi decided to bring that up in front of her boyfriend and basically made me feel like a bad jew and i just. this woman has taken so fucking much from me. she permanently injured my back. she gave me so much ptsd that im surprised i can function as a social creature at all. she made the holiest day of my culture/sort-of-religion into a massive trigger for me to the point that i dont think i will EVER be able to participate in yom kippur normally as long as i live. but i think ruining my ABILITY TO FEEL HUNGER is like. the fucking PEAK. i can deal with the social issues and the chronic pain and the ptsd and the psychosexual problems but... i dont know how i will ever be able to fix this particular issue. i cant magically bring my hunger signals back. i can journal out my mental problems, i can get ibuprofen and a cane for my back, but i cannot, i CANNOT. bring back my ability to feel hunger. that woman ruined my life before it even started. i hate her six different ways on a good day.

In the Magnus Chase series it's said that Children of Norse gods aren't "detectable" to monsters and gods UNTIL they die. And since Sally's a Legacy of LOKI one of the Norse gods most commonly associated with like misdirection and like avoiding traps (not counting the whole ''i invented the thing that finally caught me'' thing. As for the whole legacy of Venus, it's so far down the generational chain that it's barely even noticable, beyond the whole ''singing-charmspeak-siren-powers'' which Sally has basically forbidden/scared?(unintentionally) Percy into never using. By the time anyone (Zeus, Ares, or other ppl who don't like Percy) realizes that Sally's and therefore Percy's heritage is cross-pantheon he's already won the favor of like- ALL the greek minor gods -(did you know that their are over 3100 immortals in the greek-mythos idk how many of that number are gods, compared to like primordials, titans, nymps, giants, and naliads but like that numbers' HUGE)- when he turned down immortality, has the begrudgingly support of Nico's dad, and has like literally saved the world twice. They can't do anything to them without like starting a war. Zeus is like trigger-happy one second from zappo murdering Percy but he CANT because Percy is the Darling. Everyone likes him now, if Zeus were to harm Percy he would have not only both his brothers to deal with but also LITERALLY everyone (minus maybe Athena and Ares) would be out for his blood.

Percy himself doesn't even find out he's a legacy until like after son of Neptune when Venus, says some shit and then his mom tells him what's up after he, Bob, and friendly giant friend get rescued from Tartarus: Ice Age Addition. to help with the final battle.
