Blackpink -> {Goddess AU} -> Meeting their demigod child
Requested: No
Group: Blackpink
Genre: Fluff.
Jisoo
Tumblr media
There was hardly anything that could instill fear in a god since they are the most powerful beings in the world, or rather, through all the combined worlds and universes. They were capable of taking out mortal civilizations with nothing more than a flick of the finger or a gust of air, mortals unable to fight against them simply because of their lack of power in comparison to the gods.
Jisoo was a goddess worth being feared of, mostly due to her disdain for mortals. While she was known as being a very reclusive goddess, her power was not to be underestimated, especially when she believed that you have committed a wrongful act in her realm. She was responsible for everything connected to nature; therefore, she perceived anything that tended to try destroy it being an enemy; human mortals being the primary enemy in her realm.
And yet despite her obvious disdain for humans, she fell in love with one, and to make matters worse (or better), she had conceived a child with them.
Jisoo was at a loss of what to do. While she has obviously seen offspring being produced between two mates, human and nonhuman, Jisoo never perceived herself as being one of the gods or goddess that decidedly fall in love with a mortal due to the obvious difference in power. In all, honestly, it never was supposed to happen and yet it did, and Jisoo had to endure nine months of pregnancy until you finally gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.
A demigod baby girl, to be more exact.
Jisoo didn’t quite know what to do, she was hardly the motherly types, especially since her reputation precedes her as a cold goddess with a hatred for humans. And yet here she sat on a bed, you in it as you cradled the newborn babe in your arms, a tired smile on your face as you gently hummed a tune which was foreign to Jisoo but familiar to you. Jisoo just watched in silence, her dark eyes fixed on the blanketed figure on your arms until your finally raised your head to look at her.
“Do you want to hold her?” You asked, stunning Jisoo with the question.
“Oh...I...I couldn’t.” She refused, shaking her head as she glanced back down at the sleeping babe in your arms. But you were not accepting her answer.
“Come sit next to me.” You said, shuffling in the bed to provide a sitting space for her next to you. Jisoo obeyed immediately, slowly moving from her seat on the foot of the bed to sit next to you, her back pressed against the headboard. You then began to move the babe towards her, and embarrassingly, Jisoo panicked.
“Y/N, it is not a good idea!’
“Jisoo, she is your daughter. Hold her. She isn’t going to bite.”
The goddess floundered at the statement, it not quite sinking in that she was a mother, especially to a demigod child. She recalled once in the past that she stated to all of her siblings and fellow gods and goddesses that she never intends to become romantically involved with a mortal, much less have a child with one. But it seemed that she went back on her word as she found herself nervously cradling a baby, its head pressed against her chest as it continued to slumber.
“...”
Jisoo couldn’t help but stare down at the babe in memorization. Despite it being born a few hours ago, she could already see features that belonged to both herself and you. The babe had her black hair, dark as a Winter’s night during the full moon, as well as her perfectly angular nose, while from your side, the babe had your adorable cheeks, slightly red and plump, almost charming her to give them a soft squeeze. The babe was so tiny in her arms, and yet was not light. Jisoo felt her arm sinking at it supported the babe’s weight, its head nested in her elbow.
“Isn’t she beautiful?” You cooed, resting your head on Jisoo’s shoulder as you smiled down at the babe in Jisoo’s arms. The goddess couldn’t help but nod in agreement.
“She the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.” Jisoo confessed, gingerly moving her other arm to slowly trail a finger tip along that adorable cheek that was calling for her to pinch it. She instead gently poked it, reveling in its supple skin. She felt you press a kiss to her cheek.
“She’s our daughter Jisoo.” You breathed, returning your head to its previous position on her shoulder. Jisoo nodded again.
“Yes...”
Jisoo was a mother, a mother and partner to a pair of humans. It was you who truly desired a child from Jisoo, and despite her previous misconceptions regarding mortals and their continuous need of expanding their numbers, she gave in to your desire and now she had a daughter in her hands. A daughter which was the mixed creation of a goddess and a human. Despite the newness of the whole situation, a span of warmth filled Jisoo until she could feel nothing else but the one emotion that entered the realm of her younger sister.
“I love her.” Jisoo confessed, which in turn made you smile as she gently brought your hand to your daughter’s head, gently stroking its black locks as it continued to sleep.
“I love her too. Thank you for giving her to me.”
“No.” Jisoo suddenly said, turning around to look at your confused eyes, shaking her head gently before leaning in to press a kiss to your lips, whispering against them as she uttered the words ingrained in her heart. “Thank you for asking for her.”
Jennie
Tumblr media
Jennie was quite used to figuring out the unusual and discovering the solutions to all problems, hence her title as the goddess of wisdom; therefore, nerves was not a concept she had a firm grasp on. But it was all that Jennie could feel as she appeared in the middle of her temple, like all the times she had before, only this time there was more than just you that she was meeting. There was no one to greet her as she arrived, but she heard movements at the front of the temple, so she slowly walked down the steps and head in the direction of the temple entrance, the movements becoming more prominent until she finally heard the tinkling laugh of a young girl.
Suddenly her heart was in her throat.
Jennie slowly stepped out from the shadows of her temple to see a beautiful girl with chocolate brown locks dancing about on the pathway that led to her temple, small arms reaching above her head as she attempted to catch the fireflies that were flying about in the night sky. Jennie couldn’t help but become transfixed at the sight of the girl, a familiar gummy smile on her face as she giggled at the glowing bugs as she continued to try catch them but to no avail. However, despite the lack of success, she continued to try catch one, a slightly determined glint in her eye as she continued running about which was also very familiar to the goddess.
Movement from the side caught Jennie’s attention, causing her to turn and lock eyes with the very same eyes that were reflected on the little girl’s face, the crooked smile that sent her heart asunder flashed in her direction as its owner stepped towards Jennie, hand reached out to the little girl.
“Ana love, our guest has arrived.”
The little girl immediately turned to you before looking at Jennie, a stunned look on her face as she took  in Jennie’s ethereal beauty before flashing her a gummy smile, hurrying over to Jennie before you could say or do anything to stop her. Jennie couldn’t help but immediately kneel down at the girl’s small height, a soft smile on her face as she allowed the girl to invade her space.
“Mama?” She asked, eyes filled with wonderment as she continued to stare at Jennie with memorization.
The very sound of the title sent Jennie’s chest into a flourish of butterflies, filling her up with so much warmth. Jennie nodded and flashed her signature gummy smile at the little girl before holding out her hand to her, the girl’s small hand immediately placing itself in Jennie’s larger one, allowing the goddess to enclose her hand with her own.
“Yes little one, it’s so lovely to finally meet you.”
An adorable squeal left Ana’s lips before she all but dived into Jennie, wrapping her arms around her neck as she squeezed her tightly, Jennie’s arms immediately wrapping around her waist in a tight hug, her own nose nuzzled into Ana’s neck as she rebelled in the first hug given to her by her very own daughter.
“Mama...mama...” Ana continued to whisper, nuzzling her own nose into Jennie’s hair, inhaling her natural scent of roses and vanilla.
Footsteps caught Jennie’s attention once again, prompting her to lift her head away from Ana’s neck to look at you walking closer to them, your signature smile on your face as you took in the sight of the two of them finally meeting one another. Jennie stood up from her kneeling position with Ana in tow, her arms still tightly wrapped around the little girl while she wrapped her legs around Jennie’s abdomen so that she would not fall. Jennie smiled softly as you once you eventually reached them.
“You came.” You smiled back.
“Of course, Ana has been wanting to meet you for so long.”
Guilt flashed through Jennie as she glanced at the back of Ana’s head before looking back at you, her grip on Ana tightening ever so slightly.
“I would have come sooner if-”
“Jennie, it’s okay. I understand.”
“But I-”
“You gave me your blessing remember? No harm will come to us when I know you are watching over us. I know it isn’t easy, but we will make it work.”
“I...She...is not going to have an easy life Y/N. A demigod...there are so many dangers that are posed on her.”
“Well, its a good thing that you’re her mother, because she will certainly know how to protect herself since she is a lot more like you than me.”
Jennie chuckled at your words and shook her head, stepping towards you and leaning forward to press a sweet kiss to your lips, pulling away from a few seconds for leaning in for a more fiery one, one hand removing itself from Ana to cradle the side of your neck, keeping you in place as she took her fill of you after being separated for a long while.
“I dare to disagree. I see you in her.”
“Looks and personality are two different things, my goddess.”
Your name for her sent another flurry of butterflies within Jennie, causing her to pull you in for another kiss before leaning away to press her forehead against yours.
“Not to me. You both are perfect.”
“Mama?” Ana’s voice called out, prompting Jennie to pull away from you to give her daughter her undivided attention, smiling serenely at her as she pulled back from her spot at her hair to look at the goddess with wide eyes.
“Yes little one?”
“Are you going to stay with us?”
Jennie glanced over at you before locking eyes with her daughter, a soft smile in place as she nodded and leaned in to press a soft kiss to her daughter’s forehead.
“I will for a little while, my love. I promise.”
The both of you flashed her large smiles as her words, clearly both ecstatic at the prospect of her staying with the two of you, and quite honestly, Jennie was ecstatic at the idea too. She has missed you a lot, and she has missed the first few years of her daughter, she wanted to make up for it and she intended to do so.
Chaeyoung
Tumblr media
Chaeyoung did not flinch as you continued to squeeze her hand in a death grip, she instead cooed and gently dabbed at your sweaty forehead as you panted heavily, your swollen belly being the primary focus of everyone in the room, mainly of Chaeyoung’s brother as he continued to hum charms under his breath to try ease your pan levels.
“You are doing so well my love, so well.” She cooed, pressing a kiss to your temple as you continued with your labored breaths.
Another wave of pain washed over you and your already impossibly tight grip tightened even more but Chaeyoung showed no sign of any pain as she continued to allow you to use her to ground yourself in the situation. You whimpered from the pain and turned to look at Chaeyoung, sheer pain and fear in your eyes.
“Chaeyoung, I don’t know if I can do this.” Chaeyoung immediately shook her head and gave your hand a comforting squeeze.
“Don’t say that my love, you can.”
“But I-”
“You can do this my love, I know that you can. Just keep breathing.” Chaeyoung leaned forward and pressed a kiss to your lips before whipping her head around to look at her brother, flashing him a glare. “What is taking so long?”
“I am trying Chae, but things like this can’t be rushed.”
“She is in pain, do something about it!”
“What do you think I have been doing?!”
Both gods glared at one another, Chaeyoung glaring with protective rage in her eyes while her brother glared at her with frustration and exhaustion. Chaeyoung growled and looked back to stare at you, her eyes softened for a moment until you let out another whimper of pain, prompting her to turn back to her brother with a harsher glare than before.
“Will you make this easier for her already?!”
“Childbirth isn’t something which is supposed to be easy Chaeyoung, especially not when it involves your child.”
Chaeyoung gritted her teeth before turning back to you, placing the damp rag down to instead cradle your cheek, tenderly stroking your cheekbone with her thumb as you continued to groan and whimper in pain.
“It will all be worth it in the end my love, just a little bit longer.”
Despite the obvious pain you were in, you simply nodded at the Goddess of Love and Chaeyoung responded with a tender kiss to your lips, trying her best to take your mind off the obvious pain you were experiencing. She wishes that she could take your place to elevate your pain, but she was unfortunately not in the position to do so, and so she had no choice but to remain by your side during your labor as your body prepped itself to give birth to her and your first child.
While she knows that her brother is the God of Medicine and Healing, she fully wanted to throttle him because she felt that he was not doing his job, especially since you were still in pain despite the many charms he was uttering for you. Chaeyoung saw no reason of why you had to suffer so much, but according to her brother, it was impossible for a human not to experience pain during childbirth because it was literally their body which was going through painful changes to accommodate the newborn babe.
It was a fact that Chaeyoung had to accept, but that didn’t mean she liked it. In fact, she hated it, but she could only hold your hand and continue to spout tender words to you as your body was eventually ready to push, her brother talking you through the entire process while Chaeyoung remained by your side, waiting anxiously for the infamous cry of your and her child.
/ - /
Chaeyoung couldn’t take her eyes off him, her arms cradling him in a protective hold as his makeshift blanket ruffled against her arms as he moved his arms about, clearly adjusting himself to the new world he has been born into. Despite the heated glares and shouts they had shared, Chaeyoung’s brother gave her a smile as she handed off her newborn son.
“Congratulations sis, its a boy.”
Chaeyoung didn’t acknowledge his words as she continued to stare down at the beautiful sight in her arms. While Chaeyoung was the very representation and essence of beauty in this world and all its many other realms, she couldn’t help but bow in submission to the little babe in her arms. Despite his eyes still being tightly closed shut, she couldn’t help but feel she was staring into the eyes of the very universe, before even the creation of the gods that held the answers to everything from the beginning.
“Chaeyoung?” Your voice called out, tired and fatigued but also happy, prompting Chaeyoung to turn around and face you as you continued to lay in bed.
You looked exhausted and pale, most definitely due to the intensive hours of labor you were forced to endure, but you had a glow around you which made you look ethereal to Chaeyoung. The Goddess of love suddenly smiled at you, stepping forward and taking a seat beside you before looking down at the newborn babe in her arms.
“We have a son love.” She whispered, still mesmerized by the fact that she was holding her son in her arms. You hummed and reached out to trace a finger along his forehead, a tired smile on your face.
“Yes...a son.” You repeated, turning to glance at Chaeyoung only for her not to pay too much mind to it because her focus was entirely fixed on the babe. You chuckled. “Am I allowed to hold him?”
“Huh? Oh...Oh! Yes, of course my love!”
Chaeyoung couldn’t help but flush in embarrassment at being caught completely unaware of her selfish actions despite it being you who had delivered your and her son in the first place. Chaeyoung heard her brother snicker at her expense but decided to ignore it as she slowly shifted her son into your arms, wrapping her arm around your shoulder and she pressed herself against your side, not wanting to be separated from you or her son for even a moment. She pressed a kiss to your temple.
“Well done, my love.” She cooed, which prompted a giggle out of you.
“I wouldn’t have gotten through it without you.” Chaeyoung pressed another kiss to your temple.
“I’m just glad you are okay now. I hate seeing you in pain.”
“After seeing this treasure...it was worth it.”
Both you and Chaeyoung smiled down at your son, mesmerized at the very sight of him and allowing each other to revel in each other’s presence with the promise that you and the babe are safe from any possible dangers. Chaeyoung’s brother murmured his departure to the two of them, but Chaeyoung stopped him with a look.
“Thank you.” She uttered, which he answered back with a smile.
“It was a pleasure sis. I am honored to be the first one to meet my nephew.”
And then he vanished, leaving Chaeyoung and her small family behind in your bedroom, enveloped in a haze of warmth and happiness.
Lisa
Tumblr media
Gods and goddesses are renowned for their reputations of being bad parents, courtesy of their inability of being there fore their children when they needed it the most. Being the Goddess of War, almost nothing terrified Lisa, and yet it came to meeting you to figure out she did have a fear after all and that was to be a terrible parent like her parents were to her.
At the beginning, she never wanted a child, especially not with you because then it would put you at risk. Demigod children were notoriously known for being difficult births and after everything you have lived through, she did not want you life line to be cut all because you wanted a child with Lisa. But like the warships in a war, you eventually wore down her walls and she gave in, but now a whole new level of fear was created because she wondered about her possible future with you and her child.
It is almost embarrassing with how much time she spent with her older sister Jennie to try prepare herself for parenthood, especially since her sister had recently become a parent herself. But unlike Jennie, Lisa never really was the favorite because of her more...rebellious nature, but it did not phase Jennie much as she was more than happy to impart her words of wisdom to her younger sister, her partner even informing Lisa of how to care for you before and after the birth of the child.
When the due date already came, Lisa was scared to her wits end. She could face the battle of war, the corpses that were the results of the bloody battle, but nothing could ever prepare her for the fear she felt when she watched you scream in pain as you gave birth to the child. It almost didn’t seem worth it, no pain could be worth anything, especially not when Lisa could not do much about it. She eventually got so panicked and terrified that you all but ordered her out the room, unable to focus on the process when she was pulling daggers to the healers throats as they tried to help her during the birth.
It was almost as if Jennie sensed her panic because while Lisa was pacing outside of the healer tent, Jennie appeared beside her and grabbed her by the shoulders and forced her to look at her.
“You need to breathe.”
“But Y/N is-”
“Lisa. Breathe.”
Despite her desire to shove her sister away from her, she instead obeyed and matched the slow, heavy breathing pace that her sister was instigating to try calm her raging heart, eventually getting it under control. Jennie remained by her side for a small while until the sound of a baby crying caught both of their attention, Lisa’s head snapping in the direction of the tent. Jennie smiled and nudged Lisa in the back.
“Go.”
Lisa did not need to be told twice. The goddess all but sprinted to the healers camp and pushed herself inside, eyes immediately going to your bed with your body laying in it. You were holding a small bundle in your arms and had the most serene smile on your face as you softly cooed at the bundle and slowly rocked your arms. A lump formed in Lisa’s throat and she didn’t even realize she was walking towards you until she was finally at the foot of your bed, your head raising to lock your eyes with hers. You smiled at her.
“Come meet your son Lisa.”
Her son.
Lisa’s lips parted at the information, her eyes widening before she slowly made her way to stand by her side and peer down at the very carbon copy of you. Even though it was a newborn babe, Lisa couldn’t already tell it had your nose and mouth shape, your adorable plump cheeks staring up at her, as well as your signature dark locks. You beamed up at Lisa before removing one arm from under the babe to pat the space next to you.
“Sit with me.”
Lisa hesitated for a moment before obeying, taking a seat next to you with her eyes still transfixed on the babe in your arms. And then you were suddenly handing it to her.
“Wha- Y/N!!”
“It’s a baby Lisa, not a bomb.”
Lisa suddenly became panicked at the idea of holding the babe, it hardly being something she was used to holding, but then she found herself cradling her son, him being surprisingly heavy despite being so small. Lisa just stared wide-eyed at the babe, glancing between you and him before trembling from the weight of him in her arms. You huffed a taught and then moved a pillow under arms to help give her and him some support.
“That better?”
“I...yes.”
Lisa shifted on the bed so that she was now laying more comfortably beside you with her back pressed against the headboard and her legs laid out in front of her. She kept a firm hold on the babe, warily eyeing him before looking at you, an uncharacteristic nervous look on her face.
“Are...are you okay?” You smiled at her.
“Of course Lisa, I’m still here.”
“Yes but...you...he...” Lisa was unsure on what to say, a mixture of emotions boiling up within her, but then panic set in when the babe began to wiggle and cry in her arms, making the goddess want to bolt from the bed but she was rooted on the spot due to your hand placed on her arm.
“He is okay Lisa. Just rock him a little bit. Yes, just like that.”
Lisa felt so awkward doing such subtle movements in an attempt to appease her crying son, to the extent that the healers in the tent chuckled at the sight of the Goddess of War becoming terrified at the aspect of a crying child. But they immediately paled when Lisa flashed them a fiery glare.
“I don’t know how to do this Y/N.” She eventually confessed, her glares forcing the healers to flee from the tent. She expected anger or annoyance, but instead you smiled and leaned in to press a kiss to your cheek.
“It’s okay. You’ll learn, just like me. We’ll learn together.”
Lisa fixed you with a disbelieving look but then snapped her head at her son as she realized that he was questioning down, her awkward rocks being enough to seduce him back to sleep. Lisa stared wide eyed at her achievement and felt you kiss her cheek again.
“See? Fast learner.”
And Lisa couldn’t help but smile her first smile ever since you got pregnant, nodding before resettling herself on the bed, being sure to support her son properly as he continued to sleep in her arms.

Will young phil ever meet like the gods from his hc world (Rose, Ender King, etc.)? If so, what is his thought on them?
Young Phil never gets the chance to meet Rose in this
I imagine this is an age before Phil came into contact with any of the deities, so he wouldn't know them even if he saw them
Which, if he did, he'd be scared shitless
Rose , being Rose, knows that this isn't Current Phil, and that contacting him would do more harm than good

Blackpink -> {Goddess AU} -> You pass away
Requested: No
Group: Blackpink
Genre: Angst.
Warning: Mention of poisoning. Some violence. Death. Possibly triggering. Some sad stuff ahead. Blood.
Jisoo
Tumblr media
Loss was something which astounded Jisoo, since it was not something she was used to herself since she did her best not to interact with those of the mortal world that always perished away as easily as paper when set alight. She has always had a disdain towards mortals because no matter the circumstances, they always had the innate ability to destroy everything that they could get their hands on. The rising of civilizations meant the destruction of nature, the environment being destroyed to sate the greed of those who decided it was their right to operate the land due to finding it ‘first’ despite it never being lost in the first place.
Jisoo never felt loss whenever kingdoms rose and fell. She never shed a tear when great generals and warriors fell to their knees in the middle of the battlefield, their enemies piercing their vulnerable spots to end their miserably tyranny. And she most certainly never showed any concern towards lovers that lost one another to either death or heartbreak. Mortals were so flimsy and reckless when it came to love, she honestly had no idea what compelled mortals to seek for the companionship of others when they never how terrible they were.
Chaeyoung called her a cynic, but Jisoo called herself a realist. Since the dawn of time, Jisoo has been a witness to families breaking apart and kingdoms becoming graveyard ruins because love, something which she always pointed out to Chaeyoung, much to her chagrin, but Jisoo did not care. She had no desire to fall into the domain of her sister, she was not going to ever be compelled to a stupid, mortal thing such as falling in love.
And yet it happened, with a mortal nonetheless.
It was a great honor bestowed on you, being Jisoo’s first love. No god or goddess ever managed to catch her eye and with her known disdain towards humans, it came as a great shock when it was discovered that Jisoo fell in love with a human mortal. Chaeyoung was of course overjoyed, but Jisoo had no desire to delve in any details regarding her relationship with you. It was her business, and she had no reason to share.
It was the forest which brought you to her, saving you from death, and the two of you had been happy ever since, you being the sole reason why Jisoo visited the mortal realm more often than ever. But it was during Winter solstice when she could not return to you as soon as she wanted to was when the forest decided to take you away from her, and it was too late for her to save you when she eventually returned.
Jisoo always hated the Summer and Winter solstice meetings because it was when she was forced to deal with all of her siblings, cousins, parents, aunts, and uncles all at the same time, hearing their endless bickering that would capable of even driving the most sane celestial being mad. She thought an entire eternity had gone past by the time the solstice meeting was finished, and she immediately transported herself back to the mortal realm to reunite with you, only to find that you were no longer in that realm anymore.
She had found you on the forest floor, eyes hooded over, barely peeking under your eyelids, with you flat on your back with your left hand covering your heart. She had called you name, thinking that at first you were asleep, but when you did not answer each time she call you name, she grew concerned. She knelt beside you and touched your arm, only to flinch back when she felt how cold you were to the touch. She looked closely at your face and then realized how pale you were, noticing that your lips were a light blue, matching the color of your finger tips as you remained motionless beside her.
“Y/N...” She breathed, a sense of dread filling her chest as she moved her hand to hover just above your mouth, waiting to feel a small breath of air for a proof of life.
She felt nothing.
“Y/N...” She repeated your name again, a pressure pricking behind her eyes as she shakily moved her hand to the side over your neck, moving her two fingers to your pulse point to feel your heartbeat.
...
She felt nothing.
A sudden cold pass overwhelmed her body, Jisoo’s heart becoming lodged in her throat as she looked over your body, trying to find a reason of explanation for your state of lifelessness while the pressure in her eyes began to increase second by second until she suddenly felt the first tear escape her eyes, only to be following by its twin, and many more. In your other hand, she realized that was something in it, and when she took a closer look, she let out a choked sob when recognized the toxic berries that were literally in the middle of your palm.
The very thing which she had saved you from when the two of you first met is what took you away from her during her absence.
“Y/N...” She whispered your name for the third time, her hands trembling as she gathered you into her arms, adjusting you until your head was leaning into her elbow like a newborn, your head slightly slumping towards her body so that you nose touched her chest. Jisoo felt her bottom lip tremble as she continued to readjust her grip on you, hoping that just maybe, the movement will make you open up your eyes. “Y/N, please...”
Jisoo didn’t even recognize her voice, it was nothing that she has ever heard before. The sound of her voice matched the sensation she felt in her chest, like a cold, fragile void that was only breaking with passing time. She noticed drops fall to your shirt, realizing that they were her tears which were now streaming down her face as she began to sob openly, the forest being the only witness to the Goddess of Hunt mourning the death of her first love.
Jennie
Tumblr media
Logic was the very essence of Jennie, that if one was to research the meaning of the word, they would find a sculpture or painting of Jennie right beside her, as her titles as the Goddess of Wisdom meant that everything that Jennie sought out to do was motivated by logic.
Hence it is the reason why logic was the causing of the falling out between you and Jennie.
Jennie had to do it, she had to end things between the two of you. It was not fair for her to take advantage of your endless devotion to her for a limited romance which would end once you passed on to the next world. She had no right to deprive you of all the promises of life had for you, such as having a family and flourishing in civilization. She had no right to ask you to spend the rest of your mortal life with her, an immortal being that would never die.
She pushed you away for your own good. You deserved to live a life away from her influence. You were filled with so much promise and devotion, there was someone else other than her who deserved to be the center of your world, even though it meant replacing her in your life.
It was not easy. Not at all. No pain that Jennie has ever experienced in her eternity as a goddess could compare to the pain that she felt when she watched you fall in love with someone else, to have a family of your own which was filled with laughter and happy memories, and to watch you age day by day, your youthful features slowly diminished as the natural life process took its time with you with its journey.
While Jennie knows she did the selfless decision, the most logical decision, she could not lie and say she never thought of interrupting your life journey with her presence once more. When she had ended the relationship, you had left her temple, never to return again. While it was most logical reason would be that you left to avoid seeing her during her temple visits, it would not be farfetched for your to leave the temple in order to follow out her orders, to live out your mortal life just as Jennie wanted you to. And Jennie was conflicted on how she should feel about it.
Chaeyoung called her a masochist, putting herself through her own, personal torture by surveying your movements everyday with passing time. She told Jennie that she was just killing herself from the inside out from watching what she wanted and could have, and yet was depriving herself. It was the most logical thing that she could have done. You weren’t a demigod that participated in battles and wars, you weren’t a renowned hero that deserved the godly recognition to bestow you the greatest gift granted by the gods: immortality.
You were only a human mortal. A normal person that gave worship to the gods and live your life as typically as a human did. But Jennie fell in love with you nonetheless; therefore, it was the most painful thing in the world to watch you grow old until you were finally traveled to the next realm, leaving behind you grieving family, and a grieving goddess.
Jennie had watched your final moments, from the eyes of the heavens as you were surrounded by your family, your hand being gently held by your spouse of many decades as you unsteadily took in the faces of your children and grandchildren, all of them flashing you tearful smiles as you took your last few final breaths before finally succumbing to death. The angel of death, her niece, appeared beside your body to snip your lifeline and collect your soul, shooting a mournful look at your family as they all immediately began to cry at your passing before looking up at the sky, practically locking eyes with Jennie as she watched the whole ordeal from her viewing mist in the heavens.
“I’m sorry Aunt Jennie.” She heard her say before she vanished, taking your soul to her father’s realm to allow you to walk the next chapter of your life that consisted of the journey of death.
Jennie could not stand the sight of your family mourning over your body any longer. She swiped her hand through the mist and instead cradled herself as she began to sob, pain wracking all over her body as she felt the loss of your soul from the mortal realm. Jennie didn’t even realize that Chaeyoung had come to visit her at the time, having witnessed the same thing as Jennie, albeit from her own home in the heavens. She hugged Jennie tightly as she sobbed.
“It will be alright Jennie. It will be alright. They are in a place of no pain now.” She soothed, hugging her sister tightly as she sobbed. Jennie clutched at her own chest, her palm pressed against her heart.
“But they have left me behind with all of it.” She heaved, her finger tips clawing at her chest as an overwhelmingly amount of pain took over her body, filled with loss and anxiety. She felt Chaeyoung press a kiss to her forehead.
“That means that your love for them was real.” She whispered, not bothering to say anything else as her words only made Jennie sob harder, as it was the most logical thing that an emotional goddess like Chaeyoung could ever say to her.
Chaeyoung
Tumblr media
Chaeyoung has never been one to keep secrets. She was open with everyone and everything, ranging from her emotions and her relationships with others, and it was hardly news for people to discover that Chaeyoung was romantically involved with mortals. It is so easy for a god and goddess to get bored with one another, especially since most do not change their personalities in the first few centuries when they are growing up, as since they all are the most powerful beings in the entire world, there is not much discipline that one could make on a god or goddess, making them grow up entitled and spoilt.
Chaeyoung is not much different, especially since she was one of the most favored children; therefore, when it came to her lovers, she was rather publicly amorous with all of them. While she has had many in the past, she did enjoy spending time with you the most, especially since you always seemed to make her forget all her troubles that are forced upon her due to her entity of being the Goddess of Love, as well as all the duties that she is expected to carry out.
Love was everywhere in the world; therefore, Chaeyoung was everywhere in everyone’s lives. She was a very busy women and it was only the most wonderful thing to get lost in the arms and life of someone who cherished her like she deserved. And one never had to worry about her becoming one’s lover, she was always thorough in all of her efforts; therefore, one never had to worry about being unsated after one night with her.
You becoming her new favorite lover did not go unnoticed. In fact, it caused many to become scorned because being the apple of the Goddess of Love’s eye meant endless blessing and memories promised with love and pleasure. It was always an honour to become a god or goddess’s lover, and becoming Chaeyoung’s lover was the ultimate honour one could have because who could ever deny the entity which represented love and beauty.
Jealousy was an aspect that has always been attached to love and Chaeyoung would be considered an expert in it, since she is the cause of it, as well as the object of representation. When there was love, there was jealousy, and it was important to understand the balance unless one wants to fall to the cruelty caused by either emotion. Chaeyoung has been influenced by emotions that had resulted in terrible tragedies; therefore, she understood the dangers of it and how easy it was to become influenced.
But she thought that you would not be hardened, especially since you were her favorite. People should know better than to harm what is hers, she may be one of the more generous of goddesses, but even she can bring multiple forms of mass destruction to the earth if she so desired, so it would be incredibly stupid to harm her lover. It was practically a begging for a painful death.
And it was what she promised when she had appeared in your room, only to find your bloody body with multiple stab wounds in it.
It was already too late for her to save you, your soul having already exited this realm as she cradled your body to her and pressed her hands desperately to your wounds to stop the bleeding, but it was of no use. You were no longer among the world of the living, only among the world of afterlife along with the other passed away souls. Chaeyoung tasted the salt from her tears as she pressed a final kiss to your cold lips, the warmth that they previously contained evaporated into the thin air, the same as your life.
“I...am so sorry...my love.” She whispered against your lips, tears falling to on your pale skin as she pressed a kiss to your cheek, brow, and forehead before standing up with your body in her arms, her entire figuring glowing as she prepared to take her to her home.
You did not deserve a grave like this, like a forgotten pig carcass for the vultures to scavenge. She will make sure that you are given the proper burial, one which will highlight the brightness which you had brought to her own life and to others. She took one final look around your room, at the four walls which were the witnesses to your shared love with Chaeyoung. Her eyes darkened when she took one final look at your bloodied bed sheets.
“Whoever did this...are dead.” She growled, before finally transporting to her home, you body in her arms with a deep seed of hatred and anger planted in her chest and growing with every passing second. She was going to find your killers, and make sure they suffer the worth death possible, and make sure that their souls are sent to hell.
Lisa
Tumblr media
Death was a part of war. There has never been a battle in history that didn’t shed the blood of people, be it either from the enemy or from one’s own side. People always died in wars, and Lisa was very familiar with the death of allies, enemies, and loved ones.
And yet it is still a shock to her that you were taken away from the world of the living.
You were a warrior, someone who would not back down for a fight and always stood up for your beliefs. You were beyond reckless, that was a no brainer, but she was attracted to you nonetheless. She fell in love with your spirit, which your desire to win, and you relentless pursuit in action, adventure, and victory.
But with your wild nature, Lisa has often been forced to deal with the results of your recklessness. She has had to bandage your wounds, heal your minor injuries, and of course, save you when it was required. But even though she was a goddess, a being superior to all living things, she could not always be there when she was needed, even if it was for you, one of her only exceptions.
Lisa had always told you that one day your recklessness was going to bite you in the ass, but as always, you brushed off her words with a smile and a kiss to her lips, playfully sending her a wink  before telling her to stop being so serious.
“There is no way I will ever die Lisa. I know you’ll be there to cover my back while I cover my front.”
The stone in her throat barely went down when she swallowed, the words you said to her haunting her like an apparition while she kept a tight grip on your cool hand, your strength slowly diminishing as your breathing became more unsteady. She leaned forward and pressed a kiss to the back of your hand before pressing it to her forehead, letting out a shaky breath before glancing at your pale face, your lips stained with dry blood while you barely kept your eyes open.
“I told you that you’ll get yourself into trouble someday.” She said, her voice completely empty with emotion as she stared at you. You flashed her a weak smile, the effort looking more painful than genuine.
“Sorry...love...just can’t...deny the...excite...ment...” A vicious cough broke out of your throat, immediately alert Lisa as she watched in baited breath during your coughing fit. She swallowed thickly when she saw more blood splatter onto your shirt, your voice wheezing as you slumped back into the bed, looking even more tired than before. You let out a light cough before turning to look at Lisa again, your eyes startling her because unlike the fiery orbs she is used to seeing, she was instead looking into the eyes of a tired, hollow warrior.
“I’m...sorry...” You whispered, your voice so broken that Lisa couldn’t help but let out another shaky breath, a lot shakier than her last one, before pressing a kiss to the back of your hand again.
“Don’t be. Everything will be okay.” She said, swallowing thickly and trying her best to stay strong for you in your final moments.
“Will...it...hurt?” You asked, not giving any detail about what you were asking, but Lisa immediately knew what you meant. The pressure behind her eyes increased tenth-fold and she closed them tightly together, swallowing thickly once again before opening them, squeezing your hand tightly. That was a question you were never supposed to ask her, not ever. But she rubbed the back of your hand, hoping it gave you the comfort you needed from her.
“Quicker than falling asleep.” She said, flashing you a sad smile before reaching out to cup your cheek, stroking it with a thumb, her heart breaking at seeing you gently lean into her touch, soaking it up since it would not be long until you...go on.
“Will...you be okay?” You asked, your eyes beginning to droop, immediately catching Lisa’s attention and making her realize that it was nearly time. But the problem with your question...just what could she say to you to give you comfort. But clearly her indecision was clear on her face, before you gave her a weak squeeze to catch her attention.
“Don’t...lie...please...” Your voice was losing its strength, and the realization that it was nearly time for you to go made the pressure behind her eyes break, as a tear escaped and ran down her cheek as she stared at you, her bottom lip trembling.
“I’m going to miss you. A lot. I still can’t believe this is happening.” She confessed, a light sob escaping her lips, unable to hide it anymore. You were going to leave her, pass on, and there was nothing that Lisa could do about it. Gods and goddesses could do many things, but they could not save a human when they are beyond saving. Even goddesses have limits when they are not operating in their domain. Lisa’s domain is war, not medicine, and there was no chance for her to save you.
And it killed her.
“Lisa...I...” Your voice began to dwindle and your eyes were beginning to close, and Lisa couldn’t do anything but watch you in your final moments saying your final words. “.........I........love...”
The last word never left your lips. Lisa just let out a sob when your eyes fell shut for the last time, your breathing coming to a halt and leaving behind a heartbroken Goddess of War who was swiftly joined by her niece, the Angel of Death.

Thoughts on the thunder wizard again.
Genuinely, I find Gale's relationship with Mystra to be fascinating when you consider all its facets. Unhealthy, imbalanced, definitely poisonous, but also very, very intricate with a lot of blurred edges to it. One of those things where you're both like "wow, what the hell, that's horrible" but also "that makes perfect sense for their characters, and while I would NEVER, I know why they would, and why it happened."
You've got a wizard who doesn't know what real love is, who thinks he's finally being shown it by the person he adores most. His greatest fantasy, his most potent joy, his most heartfelt aspirations, and they were all offered to him.
And he wants to see what all she's hiding from him, because of course he does. She's the keeper of all things forbidden to him. The empire of Netheril reached magical heights that will never be touched again, and all that knowledge is beyond her curtain. She loves him, right? Surely, if he proves himself enough, she'll let him grasp that power he so desperately wants.
And not even in the power-hungry sense! All that magic Mystra's locked up was accessible during Mystryl's reign. Think of all the answers to theories about the universe that are back there. Every question of "can this be done, and what would it do" would be answered, if he could just bargain hard enough.
She loves him, right?
Surely, if he proves himself enough...
And then, on the other hand, Mystra. Once Midnight, her human personality has been subsumed by the goddess of magic and her duty to the Weave. She has a responsibility to magic, she IS magic.
Then along comes this mortal boy who knows how to handle her Weave. Who doesn't try to wrestle with and dominate, who sings to it. He handles it with such ease and grace—it's not just that he could be Chosen, but he deserves it. To put her Weave in the hands of someone so intrinsically in tune with it, who understands its potential with a wonder like no other. Few enough can handle the raw power that comes with being Chosen, but this one? This one is perfect.
And he adores you. And you adore him, like one would a beautiful butterfly that's landed on their finger. And he's willing to be devoted to you in all things, not out of transaction like most of your worshipers are, but out of love for you, your craft, your magic. You're so deeply and utterly charmed by him.
And it's not like Mystra hasn't walked this path before.
She gives him what he desires, because what he desires is her. And, in a different way, she desires him. She wants him to be her representation in the world. She indulges his adoration with her own presence, and takes indulgence herself in mortal comforts. He's never satisfied with her answers, but who could blame him? She keeps a whole world away from mortals, because she knows what such unfettered power might bring about (again).
And the wizarding prodigy's ambition is lit (again).
And the height of power is reached for (again).
And she stops him (again, again, again).
She does care for him. She doesn't want to see her little butterfly burn himself, and she doesn't want to be the one to ruin those wings.
But then he's not a butterfly. He's a mortal, wielding a weapon of murder, of her murder, and he's brought it to her doorstep because she told him "no." And he's cut himself on it, he doesn't know what it is, but it's hurt him—and it's only a fraction of the hurt it could do to her. How dare he want her help after threatening her?
(He didn't mean to.)
(He only wanted to help.)
(He only wanted. How human.)
She doesn't help him. If he wants to pursue Karsus' weaponry, it's his responsibility, his hubris, that led him to injuring himself on it. She's furious. She's hurt. She's cold.
(What fools these mortals be.)
But then, there's a greater threat to her. Something that could drown the Material in Karsus' failings. And that little boy, who nicked himself on the sword he lifted, still wants her help.
It's a fair trade, isn't it? She'll forgive him, let him into her domain again, if he accepts his punishment and goes into battle for her. He picked up a sword, it's appropriate that he learns to use it in her name, right?
If he was telling the truth, he wouldn't hesitate. If he really wanted to serve her with the Netherese Orb, he would jump at the opportunity to do so. He would have to give up a few petty things in the process, ("petty," she calls mortality, as if family and home mean nothing, as if friends and love are finite. Because to her, they do mean nothing. Because to her, they are finite.) but it isn’t atonement without sacrifice, is it?
It's the tactical move. She's not above hurting one man to save a nation. It's not even the first time she's done it.
(Dornal Silverhand sends his regards.)
If he loves her, he'd die for her, because she'd let him into her paradise. If he doesn't love her, he won't, and she was justified in removing him from her grace.
He doesn't love her. Not anymore.
Does he hate her enough to try to take his dues?
Ambition has always been man's greatest folly.
