"Aren't you a little young to be at this club, blondie?" The littlest bear said to Goldilocks, stearing down at her all the while. "Aren't you a little old to have the name Junior?" Goldilocks shot back.

"So, you know who I am. Got a name, sweetheart?"

"Yes Junior, I have several. But instead of sweetheart, you could just call me ma'am!" Goldilocks told the little bear before squeezing his hand with all her strength. She didn't even need to use her Aura to hear a bone crack.

"I have blackmail on everyone in this clubhouse, so don't bother calling security." Goldilocks whispered into the bear's ear. "People say you know everything, tell me where I can find her," Goldilocks stated, pulling up a photo of her target, "and I'll let you go!"

"I've never seen her before I swear!"

"That's not good enough!!!"

"I've never seen her before I swear, ma'am!"

Then, all the baby bears came crawling, all eyes on Goldilocks.

"Hmm, looks like we have an audience. This must be kind of embarrassing for you, huh? Awkward!"

"squeel listen blondie, ma'am, if you wanna make it out of this club alive, I suggest you let me go, Now!" The little bear stuttered at Goldilocks. How cute! The girl couldn't help but let him go.

"Uhh, you'll pay for that." The little bear said to Goldilocks.

"Oh, Junior I was just playing with you! Don't be so sensitive!"

"And the blackmail?"

"C'mon, you really thought a girl like me had any blackmail on you? Haha, you fell for it!"

The bear turned to leave in a huff, but suddenly,

"Hey, lets kiss and make up, ok?" Goldilocks offered to the little bear.

"Huh, ok..."

The little bear leaned in for a kiss. But just before their lips made contact...

Punch!!!

The little bear flew into a glass column and crashed onto the floor. Goldilocks thought that should teach him for trying to kiss a little girl.

The men surrounded Goldilocks. The house music started blasting. This next song and dance was something Goldilocks knew by heart...

Black, the beast descends from shadows.

Yellow, beauty burns Gold

Right-hook! Double-knuckle!! Roundhouse-kick!!!

Goldilocks thought this dance was the most fun she had in years! And across the house, she was about to find new dance partners.

"Melanie, who is this girl?" Rose red asked to her sister, Snow white. "Idunno, Miltia. But we should teach her a lesson."

Goldilocks reloaded her weapon. This would be fun.

"Everything Yang did was for HERSELF" I think you just hit another nail on the problem. Yes, Blake and Yang both have conflict with Adam, but their conflicts are for completely unrelated reasons beyond a generic "you're hurting my friend". Blake's clash with Adam is rooted in their ideological clash over how the Faunus should be supported, his abuse of her merely adding a more personal aspect to it. Yang's conflict with him, meanwhile, is exclusively in the context of him being a physical, external obstacle to overcome following a catastrophic defeat. And there's no overlap. If Yang had been more involved in the Faunus subplot or had encountered Adam beforehand, then there'd be something connecting their stories. But there isn't.

exactly. Yang's always been self serving, just like her allusion. golidlocks broke into a nice family's house, ate their food, broke their chairs, and then slept in their beds. she deserved to get eaten by bears.

Yang preaching about Adam's selfishness is completely hypocritical, tbqh. she literally got mad at her partner for acting selflessly to keep her from being murderfied but all Yang could do was pout about and go "but what about meeee", she abandonned her sister and her teammate to be eaten by apathetic nightmare monsters, and blamed her own sister for killing herself because she ignored the fact she was depressed and struggling because she didn't have time to listen to her problems because she'd rather suck face with blake.

Yang is the worst. she doesn't deserve Blake or any good things in her life at all.

Thoughts: Holy mother of horse shoes! Shut the damn door! This book is PHENOMENALLY good. I picked it up idly of an evening after remembering it was out recently and was instantly drawn into this gripping feminist tale of space exploration.

I immediately felt wonder at Naomi, what she had done and why it was such a secret. Once I realised the beginnings of the WHAT and WHY I was hooked and needed to reach the thrilling conclusion. As The Martian is one of my favourite books, I had HIGH expectations for this one after it was compared to it, and it did not let me down. It’s marvellous.

The story and the CHARACTERS! They’re wonderfully deep and thought provoking. It’s a clever, addictive little book.
