Okay, please, for those of us who are quite new and incognizant (me). Negative tire degradation is a joke on praising purpose. Or is it a thing? And if it's second, what does it mean. Tires necromancy from Charles?

So it is actually a thing (kind of, the name might be a little misleading)

Basically tyre degredation is a very simple idea that tyres lose time with every lap. Newer tyres = faster

So with negative tyre deg we see older tyres setting faster laps, which is exactly what Charles did.

It's not like he's repairing the tyres or anything, but he is driving to such a standard that the literal rule of standard tyre deg is not applying, in the sense that he is getting more pace out of older tyres which in most cars and with most drivers is not possible.

General rule Newer tyres = faster

Charles Older tyres = faster (fuck you and your physics)

I am including a lot of helpful charts and graphs that will show you exactly what this looks like in the data(I should have my race analysis done sometime tomorrow)

But yes it is a thing, and it's not just made up for praising purposes. We saw Max have negative tyre deg during pre-season testing as well.

I was looking over Cherry's page on the oc wiki and it mentions that her pick necklace is really precious to her. Are you gonna talk about that in the Dethkomic or can I ask outright why it's so important to her?

I am not sure if I will, honestly! It's a neat little piece of lore, though.

For years I've had it in my head that Cherry and Pickles would be great for each other, but they're both commitment-phobic. Neither one of them would ever want to get married. Neither of them seems too thrilled by the prospect of raising a family (Cherry flat-out finds kids annoying, for the most part). And they both have their quirks which keep them happiest when their brains are occupied with new projects.

That said, the pick necklace Cherry wears is an old one that Pickles gave her, when they'd parted for what ended up being the last time (before the events in Dethkomic). Is it a stand-in engagement ring or hell - is it a wedding band? Not exactly. Is it, sentimentally, something that holds any less significance than any of those things? Again, not exactly.

But it is something... and perhaps only the two of them will ever know what it is or what it was meant to be. And then, maybe even they don't know. But, being that it's the only non-ethereal item that remains on Cherry's person in her Heraldic form - the universe at large seems to "get it". And that's gotta count for something. :)

do you reckon it's acceptable for people not assigned male at birth to use the terms transfem/trans girl/trans woman to describe their experiences? Like especially in situations with intersex/bigender/multigender/genderfluid/ folks who's transition includes multiple "conflicting" procedures? Or vice versa, amab people using transmas /trans boy/trans man? Not something you have to answer!!! It's just kind of a theory question I've been toying with because I find the conflation of trans id and agab to often be fairly useless and i wonder if transmasc/transfem would benefit from no longer being synonimized with agab. I'm a trans fella (mostly kind of? gender is silly) and I'd personally take no issue with rhe transmasc community welcoming amab people who find their transition to be transmasculine in nature but I wanted to ask a trans girl before fully forming my opinion on it. My position on this, and I'm saying this as an intersex femminiello (neapolitan third gender) trans woman, is that people should use whatever label best enables them to communicate their identity to others and have their identity be understood.

Idk if you have seen my pinned post anon, but I'd suggest reading it if you haven't already done so. There's a part that is particularly relevant to the question you've asked, which is:

Essentially my position is that the specific identity labels we use are much less important than the communities of practice we share with one another. When you say "I am X" you are communicating not only an idea of who and what you are to other people, but you are also saying "I am the same as/a similar thing to/in the same group as other people who are also X".

If transfem is the label that best enables someone to do that, then by all means have at it. I might raise my eyebrow at someone who calls themself a transfem but then goes to great lengths to distance and differentiate themself from other transfems, because at that point why use that label? I can't stop someone from doing that, but they might want to consider how effectively they are communicating who they are to other people.

The way I see it, anyone who calls themself a transfem is my sister, and I would hope that anyone else using that label sees me the same way. I have certainly seen some "afab transfems" who definitely don't see themselves as being in any kind of sisterhood with "amab transfems" and those are definitely the kind that I talked about raising my eyebrow at earlier. It's like, why refer to yourself with a label that communicates to others that you are like me, and then balk at the idea that people might see us as being the same ya know?

What do you think about an alternate Scream 2 where Mickey and Hallie are the Ghostface killers? I think it would have been better than what we got & Nancy/Roman would have made a good duo for #3 (they both hate Sidney's guts and can be a substitute mother & son for each other 😂)

I think Mickey being with Nancy made perfect sense. She needed someone completely unhinged, insane and disconnected to carry out the killings and she herself wanted to be the one to kill Sidney whilst Mickey didn’t really care, he was just doing what he was hired and bankrolled through college to do. I personally can’t see her teaming up with Roman as he’s yet another product of Maureen Prescott and Nancy hated her guts. Although Roman hated her too, Nancy wouldn’t be able to work with him let alone even begin to view him as a substitute for anything, and vise versa seeing as Roman is the entire reason Billy ended up going on a murder spree because Roman’s a fucking creep. (I don’t like Roman)

Although Hallie and Mickey would have been a cool duo to see, Mickey killing her as well as Derek and everyone else (bar Randy) is what prompted Sidney to go into hiding in the first place, proving that the person after her isn’t always going to be connected to her and can just be some genuine psycho that has no personal issues with her or prior KNOWLEDGE of her. I can’t imagine Hallie’s motive either, even though I’ve read the script for the original plot of 2, it didn’t make much sense.

for starters theres my boy leo. i love writing him cause it comes so naturally to me. hes always saying what im thinking. n with a cast full a rlly colorful characters, his more lowkey personality makes him stand out to me

n then thomas. same reason as leo: hes rlly easy to write. hes annoying n kinda unlikeable, n im annoying n unlikeable. n hes the one who my readers have unfluenced the most!! ppl see him as neurodivergent, n now i keep that in mind when i write the dude

Just wondering, I’m sure the path Lucifer takes will change the romance routes a lot. And I’m pretty sure Camus, basically all the angels, Polly, and probably Mac, all wants Lucifer to take the redemption path I think it is called? Well the good path where Luci is nice and not all about revenge and resentment. But I was wondering what path Lilith would prefer Lucifer to take? In my opinion, I don’t think she would really care as long as Lucifer shows affection towards her, but I was just wondering if Lilith has a specific preference? Like does she prefer the redemption, preservation, or revenge? Does she have any specific reactions towards each path? 🤷‍♀️
