#pose taken directly from the kikuomiku4 album cover bc i’ve been listening to UFO on repeat for idk how many days now #finally gave me the inspiration i needed to do something like this it’s like both sad and super whimsical #actually tbh it gives me more wishful vibes now that i think about it but 1. idk what wishful looks like and 2. cashmere design my beloved #kikuo just in general has a lot of whimsysad and/or fundark which is why i love him #tbh ufo has quickly shot up to one of my fave songs it’s the iconic accordion and the tempo being unstable in places #uh anyway ignore me being a kikuo nerd again #wahhh this was fun to work on it has consumed me these past three days #jumping up and down hehehehehe #glad i finally cut to the ‘it’s done *collapses*’ stage of the arting process bc i’ve been having trouble finishing pieces lately #man i WISH i could come up with poses this good on my own. idc i’m still proud of this #my art #ok yeah i just got the time total. 12 hours #i knew it would be a long time but i didn’t think that long #tbh a lot of that was spent inefficiently bc i kept having to resize the image up when i realized the pixels were too crunchy #and when you make an image bigger the lines get blurry so then you have to redo them. yeah i had to do that TWICE. like a dummy.#12 hours used to be like par for the course for me but i’ve finally gotten faster. or maybe i’ve just stopped doing as many full figures #lol

i love your art style so much, it's rad as hell. how long have you been drawing? :o

you mean the goofy little sketches i do from time to time? if so, that's really kind of you to say!!! that said, i wouldn't necessarily say they're the peak of my drawing abilities though, since i just draw with a mouse.

i use to draw a lot when i was growing up, though after getting Gmod for the first time, and subsequently SFM, i moved over into those programs to make my art, and kinda stopped drawing from that point.

i don't normally draw a whole lot these days, but when it comes to how i draw the stuff above, really i just find the messiness of using a mouse to draw really goofy, that and it's kinda nice to draw stuff without it needing to be perfect. it's just silly lines.

but regardless, thank you for the kind words, im glad you like my silly stuff

#ask #now if you meant the sketch of Boe that i use for my icon and a few other goofy posts i made? that was drawn by my friend Kikkini #(Kikkinimomini on Twitter)#i think he has a tumblr account too but i don't remember his handle offhand...#that sketch of Boe was one of the first ones he sent me. regarding a skeleton OC.#i really feel he struck a really good balance between ominous and kinda goofy with the sketch #that and the inclusion of the mohawk being pink really sold it for me #i would like to try and create how i actually imagine Boes world in Limbo and Hell some day #which. is very similar to Gorillaz' Phase 2 era and old ''find the hidden object games'' like Mystery Case Files Ravenhearst #in which its just like. full of junk and polution and whatnot #though with Limbo specifically. i imagine blue/purple clouded night skies over roaming empty grassy fields with nothing in the horizon #and Boes house being in the center of it all. with a long empty road in front of it #i think of Boes house as like. similar to the Ravenhearst manor or the iSpy spooky mansion #old fashioned house with a lot of junk inside #i also kinda think about Pajama Sam's colour palette in the land of darkness a lot regarding limbo and hell #the purples and dark blues of the night sky. the reds and oranges of the lava caves.#id kinda want to make what i imagine in the Source engine. but i already have trouble starting stuff in Hammer as it is #maybe some day i'll commit to it and design what i want. but ough.....#anyway thank you for the kind words anon!!!

#I think Crowley even has a bit of a reputation before he defects because he really must #serpent of eden #tasked to destroy everything Job owns #Job as in GODS FAVORITE #They either really love him or really hate him down there #I’m not inclined to automatically believe they love him just bc he’s said but his story is looking pretty good #if there was ever a major player in the game it’s this snake and he’s not even actually playing #he just gets dragged into these things or walks into opportunities honestly #“get up there and cause some trouble”#Crowley proceeds to commit the most iconic and remembered act in the biblical canon by introducing humans to knowledge #they don’t call it the original sin for nothing #literally tempts Adam and Eve into the first sin #hell should be kneeling before him honestly #or maybe throwing tomatoes bc he inadvertently caused all their paperwork #Satan is either impressed or thinks this little freak is the funniest thing ever #probably knows he’s in love with an Angel and doesn’t even care as long as it’s entertaining #I know I’m giving Satan too much credit but it’s funny #he didn’t count on Crowley trying to REPLACE him as a parent along with his angel partner #and then raise the WRONG CHILD #or maybe he did honestly #if you want everything to go to plan give it to your most competent guy #or the guy who will fuck it up so bad it cancels out and turns out how you wanted #Satan and God probably had on ongoing bet about how long it would take these two to notice that’s the wrong kid
