Spreading a heartfelt sendoff around campus. VLD, this one goes out to you. You were my comfort show for a long time and helped me through a lot of struggles. I won't go into a whole lot with this post, especially given I post pretty much every week about vld, but I still wanted to make a little tribute, no matter how sad.

I could go on and on about how unfair it is that a Netflix original is being taken off of Netflix, but you've already heard it all. I could also talk for hours about the mistakes in the writing and the feelings that came from season eight, but no.

Goodbye, vld, and may we as a fanbase continue to enjoy what you brought, no matter the mixed feelings. I made a lot of friends through this fandom and made a lot of good memories. That's not even to mention the amount of art I have made for this show. So let's all agree that no matter how much we disagree on show writing, ships, and live action casting, that this show has brought us one thing in particular. Joy.

We might get to see it on another platform someday, or not, but we will remember it.

VLD 2016 - 2024

Finished Voltron: Legendary Defender for the last time before it leaves Netflix, likely for good unless they can renew the license. It's 5:30pm where I am, and i'm bawling like a baby after telling my brothers i'm okay. I don't really like posting about my big feelings on Tumblr (or any social media for that matter). I've always been a pretty private person but this show has been with me since 2017, and for others even longer. It has been carving pathways for friendship, self reflection, and overall change in people one way or another since its release, continuing to do so when it ended in 2018. I was 10 when I first watched it in 4th or 5th grade, where I met some of my oldest friends (Hey Tyson, I love you buddy and i'm glad you're still around as I'm typing this). I was 11 and a fan of it as I came out to my friends and family for the first time, when I set on making my dream of paleontology a reality. I was twelve and finding more about myself as I went into middle school, leaving VLD behind me ever so slightly. I will celebrate my 17th birthday approximately ten days after VLD has left us, after I have found this media that has always brought me comfort once again. I will graduate in 2026 without it being on the streaming service it originally called home. Tomorrow marks the day it will have been around 7 years since I found this show. Tomorrow also marks the day I lost it. My heart goes out to those who put so much work, so much love into this series. Whether or not we were mad at the endings, we loved their work for what it represents. Voltron grew up alongside many of us in a way, and all jokes of it being this show of all things aside, the growth means a lot. This isn't totally the end, but it sure feels like it. That being said, the Paladins went on time after time. So will we. We've always put our love into the world, joining together to show our appreciation for our legendary defenders, whether it be in art, writing, or otherwise. Au where post canon Allura gets sent back in time to s1. Or so she thinks at first. But because she has no body in her own reality, her quintessence latches onto the closest alternative the second she can return to the universe. The differences are subtle. But as time progresses they grow more apparent. Her ‘future’ knowledge isn’t quite so handy after all.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2023 ART!!!!!!!!!

(srry the quality's kinda bad) on average I usually draw around 20 fully rendered drawings per year and I wanna say my new years resolution will be doubling that but I'm not THAT unrealistic

(I do hope to coordinate my colors more this year had a LOT of neon which I am NOT ashamed of)

It's cool to see how much I did digitally compared to last year and how you can SEE when the hyperfixtions changed(might do a lil less art this year tho since I'm tryna get better at writing :D)

Hey lovely awesmazing people and Happy New 2025! Hope it is more bright, more magical, more fun and more inspirational!

As I countdown the hours to saying goodbye to a pretty darn nasty year, I am looking back at some not so bad moments and taking a page from @devooshawrites stealing this lovely idea and doing my own writing review.

✨It has been a year of battles as I got addicted to Writing Battle and did as many as I could. It's exhilarating and I hope to get into even more in 2025.

Between writing battles, London Writer's Salon weekly writing contests and an amazing speedrun zine, Cafeeine Rush, hosted by @bycmykae my new OCs Ryan and Star and their wonderous universe were born. Hoping to be able to bring you more of “The Universe Beyond” in 2025.

✨Even though it was just one, I managed to get out a chapter of “As Loud As a Whisper, As Silent As a Scream”. Thanks so much to @vexednperplexed for the push and faith in me. Love you dear friend. I did also work a lot on the detailed outline for this, so 2025 should hopefully see even more chapters.

✨Of course transformative works have been on my creative forefront again this year. Still very much into my VLD blackhole but slowly branching out as well. Most of the others are in a wip or outline state so they will have to come in 2025 so stay tuned.

✨Last but by no means least, I was honoured and blessed to be part of a few projects this year. And that is the end of Season 1, folks! Ahh, it's been such a good time! I loved writing this season, setting things up for later seasons. I want to thank everyone who has been reading my rewrite, and for all your support!

As of now, this is the first long fic that I've ever completed, and the longest! So I really am grateful that people have been reading and staying tuned for so long.

Now, I am planning to rewrite the rest of it, so fear not. This is not goodbye - I have a lot planned out. Season two is where we'll really see the canon divergances, where more new things are introduced, further character development, and things I just felt were missing from VLD.

I am planning to go back and edit the past chapter, specifically the ones written two years ago, so if you see that I've updated anything past chapter 20, that is why.
