Chickpea Tikka Masala and Madras Lentils are tasty. I enjoyed the bold flavors very much. Chickpea Tikka Masala has carrot and corn with a creamy tomato sauce. It’s a good mix. Madras Lentils is made with lentils, red beans, and spices mixed in a tomato sauce. My favorite is Madras Lentils but both flavors are great. I enjoyed the hearty dishes with Basmati Rice. You can also have it with naan or roti. The rice and chickpeas are easy to make by microwaving them or heat on stove top. It’s ready quickly in just minutes. I like that the products are made with organic ingredients and free from Artificial Ingredients, Vegetarian, Kosher, Gluten-Free, Non-GMO.

Natural Calm

REVIEW

I was fortunate enough to be chosen to try @natualcalmcanada. Not just one, but three flavours: Original, Raspberry Lemon and the new Wildberry! Magnesium helps with calming your system for better sleep and fewer aches and pains.

I first tried the Original. It mixed really well in the water but tasted like baking soda and left a funky aftertaste. I'm pretty sure it would've tasted better if I had mixed in juice. I found that I fell asleep fairly quickly which was nice. Unfortunately, I woke up at 2:45 am to go to the bathroom, but I seemed to fall back to sleep fairly quickly as well. I did experience a bit of Restless Leg, but nothing too bad.

The next night I tried the new Wildberry flavour. The flavour was definitely more appealing to me. The only downside was that it felt weird on my teeth. Kind of like the feeling you get when you eat citrus and then brush your teeth right after. Or perhaps a drink with aspartame. This time the powder kept separating from the water, and I had to continuously swirl it to drink it. It also made my urine smell bad, I'm not sure if that is typical. I fell asleep quickly and didn't awaken until 4 am this time. It took me a bit to get back to sleep, but nothing major. The RLS was a little bit worse this time though.

Finally, I tried the Raspberry Lemon, and that's when I knew I had saved the best for last. It was a milder taste than the Wildberry. To me, it was reminiscent of iced tea and I am quite fond of iced tea. The powder stayed mixed really well and it was easy to drink with no weird feeling left on my teeth. I slept straight through until 5 am but struggled for an hour to get back to sleep and unfortunately experienced quite a bit of RLS.

All in all, I had a positive experience with Natural Calm. I think I am just a special case due to my chronic illness. The average person should feel a lot of relief from these products. It did make me feel generally calmer, I fell asleep quickly and over time stayed asleep pretty well. Raspberry Lemon is my recommendation though!

Before my adult onset eczema, I was a kid with dry and extremely sensitive skin. Olay products were the only ones with fragrance that my skin would tolerate, and using them somehow made me feel grown up. This scent is no different in its decadent, spa-worthy vibe. It’s a lovely blend of creamy cocoa butter, vanilla, and light greenery that isn’t overpowering and is on the slightly sweet side of unisex. 🚿 The lather, y’all…it’s thick, rich, and feels positively luxurious. We all know winter causes its slew of skin issues, so I've been dealing with a bit of that as well. Using the product is quick and easy. It applies smoothly to clean skin, morning or night and leaves behind a supple feeling of nourishment. With sensitive skin, I can say this did not cause any issues, and no breakouts or blemishes occurred at the site of use over the 7 days. My son likes the gummy texture and it’s fruity flavor. He enjoyed taking his vitamins. It’s easy for my son to take his vitamins as a gummy. I like it’s free of gmo’s, high corn syrup artificial sweetener and flavors, and aspartame. I don’t have to worry with my son’s allergies because this vitamin is free of shellfish , dairy, soy, and egg. He does not break out when taking this gummy vitamin.
