I sweat and I ache for / Your eyes and the way you breathe

OH GOD I HATE THIS ONE and i hate this paper. And it was such a fucking rollercoaster oh my gooooood. Do you remember when I've said yesterday that I have plans for Calcutta? WELL I'VE LIED. THEY'VE CHANGED AT LEAST 5364587 TIMES SINCE THIS MORNING.

Originally, I have decided on the "Melting skywards more than silence broken / I'm whole again for just a moment" part first. And halfway drawing the last idea for that line I had a moment of realisation that what I'm doing is ACTUALLY MORE FITTING FOR THE OTHER LINE. That was me for five whole minutes (pun not intended) after it struck me:

Frankly, I put the silver line + some black pointliner there, because everything melted skywards too much into each other, because if you try to have various things in different shades of black on this paper, it all just goes to shit <3

kiryu sitting haruka down for a really important talk and looking nervous but deeply serious about it and when he finally speaks he gives an honest and vulnerable admission that upon much self reflection, as unlikely as it may seem, as shocking as it may come, he is, in fact, gay, and he hopes this doesn’t make her feel any distress or discomfort in-part due to the implication that he likely didn’t have romantic feelings for her mom, he did care very very much for her regardless of labels, and so on and so on. and she lets him give this lengthy emotional confession that goes on for like twenty minutes before he finally goes dead silent anxiously anticipating her response. and she’s just like. uncle kaz I really appreciate you opening up to me like this and I’m really proud of you for accepting yourself for who you are. but me and every other kid at morning glory figured this out like 10 years ago

#he’s shaking he’s on the verge of tears and she’s just sitting there like. should I act shocked? this clearly means so much to him but #i feel like saying ‘uncle kaz. its not that subtle. you were a bachelor taking care of a bunch of adoptive kids with no interest #in women whatsoever for years. i already know. most people close to you already suspected.’ is a bit anticlimactic #I think about this a lot #cause realistically she would probably be the first person to open up to about it #unless he miraculously put together through Obvious Context Clues that daigo and mine were a Thing (probably YEARS after the fact though)#and then went and asked daigo about it. which would be hilariously awkward and id pay money to see it #he’s so bad at reading the room and like. getting social cues. I feel like he’d finally get a moment where he’s alone with daigo in his #office and would strike right as daigo’s about to make casual conversation like #‘so how have you b–‘ ‘daigo-san do you like men’#with his typical stoic intense look on his face. poor daigo that’d be mildly terrifying. also the funniest thing he could possibly do #kiryu #haruka #rambling #kazuma kiryu #haruka sawamura #yakuza #amusing follow-up to the initial idea with haruka. he eventually calms down and is relieved and whatnot and says to her kinda casually #‘I’m not sure if I’m ready to tell anyone else. except maybe majima. I keep seeing things about how in the new Modern Warfare III Soap apparently has terrible writing and all I can think is that if you had played the original trilogy from 2007-2011 then you would know the original and frankly better Soap had phenomenal writing

Nothing is funnier (but also so very annoying) than me discovering I've been signing wrong a word wrong my whole life because my mom (THE DEAF PARENT WHO TAUGHT ME) never corrected me as a kid because she knew what I meant

So far we have: Never, Meet, Learn

There's definitely others that I don't remember right now because I don't use them a lot in convo OR she still hasn't corrected me and I haven't come across the correct sign while searching online yet.

The best part is when I see the right sign, I can very easily recall my mom making those signs so many times in the past and me understanding exactly what she's saying but somehow never making the connection that I, personally, am not doing those signs the right way.

been thinking about the neglected section of dagger's lore after he leaves the bakkers as a teen and winds up in a smuggler outfit and aaaa for so long i couldn't grasp details of it all but now its flooding in and its coming together :ratscream:

#like. imagining this very old school set of self-reliant outlaws #they have a hq base on a farm where they grow their own food and even have horses (rare and stolen ofc)#very low-tech #the leader was originally a man but gd that was stupid it's obviously gotta be a big buff old badass lady #dagger would never willingly take orders from a dude (daddy issues) and thats a big reason he hates being in the clan #but he would look at this woman and what she does with a little bit of awe and a lot of respect #and the farm brings back nostalgia from his childhood even though so much of it was bad its something he subconciously longs for. some kind #of stability. and he knows how to work because of it and that puts him in good graces right off the bat #he's used to being low tech its natural for him #and this is where he starts his love of knives #guns are a hassle they rely on ammo they're heavy and bulky and hackable but knives are pure fight and skill #and so visceral. and he learns how to fight and has a love affair with close combat and pain and blood and sweat and dirt #but it starts to corrupt him a little bit. he cares less about the jobs and more about causing pain and feeling pain #so it falls apart of course but its a very integral part of his life

i have an interview for an assistant manager position next week :3c

#it's $20-$23/hr... like 40 hours a week...#this would fix EVERYTHING oh my god please let me get it #bc gotta be real right now finances are not looking great #if i can nail this job then i'll be set for bills and for like. life in general #it's a cute trans-owned woman-owned bakery really close to my house #and now i have management experience so like i can actually be like hey yeah i did sales reports--#—and invoices and managed events and ran deposits and etc etc etc #employees at my last job literally texted me to tell me they were gonna be late even though i wasnt an 'official' 'manager'#AAAAAA im so excited just really nervous for the interview bc they said it's gonna be about an hour #never interviewed for a manager position before so im just. white knuckling
