the secret to getting into wine is that all wine tastes like wine. this is indisputably true. I have since voluntarily had Dr. Pepper a number of times although cola remains my top soda and I think it took getting over an acquired taste curve for that cherry flavor with Cheerwine first before I started to like Dr. Pepper.

We used to visit my uncle and his boyfriend all the time when I was little. Haven't seen him in years, but I'm glad he was around when I was a kid. He was the only gay person I knew until I was a teenager.

The grapefruit zest (and juice for the glaze) worked soo well in the lemon poppy seed muffins! I used ruby red grapefruits which are sweeter than regular grapefruits so I will say the glaze was quite sweet compared to the more sour, lemon version. The zest worked very well in combination with the lemon zest and it smelled very nice! I'd definitely recommend giving it a try!
