When I was pregnant I had the most traumatic and horrendous thing possible happen to me and my daughter...

My mental health has taken a significant hit due to this, I wasn't doing too well in my pregnancy to start with, and it only got worse from there. Honestly, I'm extremely surprised that I'm still here today.

Unfortunately, now I don't have a baby. I have a grave. I have all of this love for my beautiful, gorgeous little girl, Opal, but I have empty arms.

I have decided to "Run off Christmas" and grief, loss, devastation, anxiety and depression. I'm working on my health, mind, body and soul.

If anyone wants to read mine and Opal's story, I have attached the link. Please find it in your heart to donate. Even if it's just £1. It's for such an amazing cause.

SATURDAY A photoshoot for @snagtights and then volunteering for @versusarthritis It’s been a loooooooong day and I’ve just had an Epsom salt bath cause my joints are achy. Plus the underground was too much. Too much. So grateful to my Dad for driving me to both London locations today. Initial plan was to take the train and that wouldn’t have worked out well. Despite the tiredness and pain I’ve had the best day. Being on set with Snag Tights today was so needed. Surrounded by plus size babes. Met some fellow Nigerians too. Not once was I ashamed of my body around the people in the changing room. Representation matters I’m going to keep repeating that cause it’s so true. The energy, the vibe. The whole team are so lovely too. Then I went to volunteer for @versusarthritis I caught up with my old @greatormondstreethospital consultant. She remembered me too even though it’s been almost 10 years!!! So nice for her to see that I did eventually get to a place where I have some control over my chronic illnesses. (The first 15 years have been HARD. I’m currently 17 years in.) Got a takeaway @nandosuk before catching the bus home. Going to eat it in bed and watch @thecwtvd on @netflixuk ✌🏾 Ideally I need 14 business days to recover but back to work tomorrow. Plus the start of my birthday week sooo...
