1: definitely was a practical, keeping-warm choice and i'm sure the intention was to have the ensemble pass as a plain, short sleeved tee but a fun little thing anyway:

2: steve wears a technically-modern version of the classic Member's Only but the differences are entirely cosmetic and superficial, like zipper lengths and metal colouring. the fit is the same! notably, he wears the silver-grey model and not the standard grey.

8: for some reason the Quiksilver x Stranger Thing's "The Steve" pants are actually an almost… 95%? exact recreation of the pants he wears in-show. and like, despite being listed as a collab with the wardrobe dep this is the first time i've seen any sort of replica clothing for something like a random character's pants but it's cool! there may be a little variation in the exact patterning but even to my super perfectionist eye they do seem identical/highly similar :). i belieeeeve what would have happened is the wardrobe made the pants, and Quiksilver received the design to then streamline for their own version. the Quiksilver version has printed pocket linings including the welt of the back pocket, whilst the on screen version are unprinted except for the hem.

“I mean it’s a pack meeting and your dress up to the nines looking like somebody’s god damn Mistress. It’s off-putting in the most sickening and vomit inducing way.” Isaac laughed but as soon as the words left his mouth you were across the room.

You felt the change take over your body as you tackled him to the floor, baring your fangs at him angrily. He only let out a laugh as he threw you off him only to stand up and stride towards you. However, before he could reach you Scott grabbed him while Derek grabbed you.

“Let me go! I’m gonna kill him!” You yelled as you twist and turned in Derek’s arms in an attempt to escape.

“Y/N, calm down!” Scott roared, his eyes flashing red as he stared at you from his spot behind Isaac.

“Derek and Cora. Lock them in Isaac’s room until they get this out their system.” Scott huffed in annoyance as you tried to flap your arms, hoping Derek would show mercy.

You and Isaac always got into verbal fights, however, today was a first. You and Isaac never ended in physically violent altercations, still for some reason today his words just seemed to piss you off more than usual.

Derek threw you into the room before Cora followed suit, throwing Isaac with slightly more aggression than Derek had thrown you. You tried to launch at the open door but before you could they closed it firmly before you heard the clicking of several padlocks. You let out a frustrated growl as you turned to Isaac your eyes flash green once again.

“This is YOUR fault!” You snarled your tone filled with more wrathful than before.

“I hardly think it is! If you weren’t such a bitch all the time we wouldn’t be having this problem!” Isaac retaliated.

“ME!? THIS STARTED BECAUSE YOU BASICALLY SAID I DRESS LIKE A HOMEWRECKING SLUT!” You screamed, your fangs extending as you approached him.

When I was in grad school I had an AMAZING pair of red suede Doc Martens that I bought “never worn” from a thrift shop. I wore them until they fell apart about three years later, then mourned them for ages.

It occurred to me the other day that I didn’t actually have to regret not owning Docs anymore; I now have the kind of disposable income where I can afford to buy a nice pair of shoes without considering the money “wasted” because I was buying pricey brand name. So I bought myself a pair of Docs, but because they don’t have half-sizes and one of my feet is much larger than the other, I had to buy the smaller foot’s size and stretch out one of the boots. A Doc-wearing friend of mine suggested the freezer trick of filling the shoe with water and freezing it so the water expands, stretching the leather, which is why I keep startling myself by opening my freezer and finding a foot in there.

(Before anyone asks: the Diet Coke bottle on the left is full of frozen cold-brew coffee, you should never put soda in the freezer, and the container below the boot is full of green grapes, not olives, I promise.)

The second outfit of "Death Defying Feats" (Season 3, Episode 1) is a shimmering sea-inspired gauzy coat and scarf worn on top of white camisole and pants and accented with a unique blue straw hat.

Known as the "Mermaid Coat", Phryne's sheer coat is made from whisper green tinted silk chiffon purchased from Italy. Turquoise and green lines of embroidery run up and down the length to create texture and visual interest. It has a sea green and silver net lining in order to give the ensemble a rippling effect, with shot blue silk organza serving as both the scarf and the binding on the cuffs of her bishop sleeves. In the season three costume exhibition catalogue, Marion Boyce remarked, "In this particular piece, I wasted everything to be quite evocative of the sea - evocation of seaweed - a murky wake-like feeling".

Underneath Miss Fisher wears a simple thin strap white camisole with a straight neckline and wide hem at the bottom and her classic white silk faille pants to serve as a canvas for her exquisite coat and scarf. She complements the outfit with a curved brimmed hat made of fine straw and dyed to a lovely blue. Milliner Rose Hudson created it with a 1920s blue organza pompom and white feathers cut into ascending triangles, all set onto the hat with a matching blue organza hatband.

Phryne completes her look with grey suede heels, long green jeweled earrings, white perforated leather gloves, and a circular crocheted grey bag.

Cotton is typically used daily from your panties or the sheets you sleep under. Cotton is everywhere. Recently, I felt a tingling in my hand for a resurgence of "millennial grey," commonly used to describe furniture. However, in the 2010s, many celebrities have been styled in the Heathered Grey which I thought was the meaning of millennial grey.

One thing to note about these heathered grey pieces is that they have a particular way of draping, which, of course, has more to do with the textile rather than the appearance.

This grey is typically styled with blacks, darker greys, and sometimes white. Neutrals, Neutrals, Neutrals....

Fur, as always, is incorporated into FW fashion. It is the essential that has kept the human species warm for thousands of years. But what will this ancient material look like for this upcoming fall 2024 winter weather?

My guess consists of textured, complete, and brown.

In previous years, we have seen a resurgence of Y2K fashion where the base of a fur coat is typically seen being suede (which we will talk about later) with a trimming of textured fur. But now you can expect to see coats with a full base of fur.

And not the cheap shitty fur that's flat with the cheetah print, no...

Fur that has a thick poshness to it.

Also obsessed with textured fur.

Okay, I take the second to last sentence back. The only flat fur that is stimulating at this point is pony hair. (It isn't confirmed that what Kim is wearing is Pony Hair, but I will assertively assume so.)

Recently, Kim Kardashian made an Instagram post called "Cream Dream." People on the internet without the brain chemistry to understand that Lululemon is not fashion but athleisure commented on how ugly she looked. Someone even said her top looked like a pad on the last day of a period. I can't help but disagree with this; the top is everything.

I also see it for a resurgence of suede. Suede is such a loved material by older generations, figuratively assuming it was a significant fashion statement in the 70s, when people wore questionable fashion items that related back to native people. Suede bags with tassels, suede boots with tassels,

Honestly, everything will be a wearable Balenciaga City bag very soon.

and elias … he tried . tired to make them happy , hoping they’d actually show up to his soccer games or track meets , but it didn’t take long to realize they simply didn’t care about him . all they cared about was their precious legacy .

that’s when he just … gave up . his parents didn’t care , so why should he ? he decided to just … be himself , consequences be damned . he decide to let loose , get into trouble , crack jokes , make people laugh … it was fun , it was what he loved to do — making people laugh . it was what he was good at .

elias eventually dropped out of university and returned home — no surprise there , really . this move was practically inevitable . what is surprising , though , is how quickly he went viral on tiktok . he dove into stand - up comedy and started posting snippets of his routine on the platform . and bam — internet famous .

he’s not taylor swift level famous yet , but he’s doing alright . has a dedicated fanbase , earns a steady income that he doesn’t spend much of ( his parents still give him a monthly allowance , bought his condo , and still pay his credit card bills ) . life’s pretty sweet : sleep in till noon , play wii tennis , swipe through raya , hooks up with celebrities who are on vacation , and hit the stage now and then . in short , he’s living the dream .

elias is just my silly little guy . he’s undeniably funny , with this brand of humor that’s equal parts dumb and endearing . he’s pure chaos , kind of like a loose cannon . definitely can’t be trusted with secrets — or anything else , for that matter . and he’s extremely annoying and inconvenient , loves to stir up trouble just for the thrill of it , for shits and giggles . and most of all , he’s a goddamn liability . if you were with him the night hayden disappeared , you’re in trouble . because elias is a magnet for misfortune , and he’ll definitely find a way to get you caught in the crossfire , whether it’s by accident , to save his own ass , or just for kicks .
