I love Mattel’s versions Grogu. I took these photos of the “Mando Season 2” Grogu last year, and he is still so cute. I like that his ears can bend backwards, and his little mouth is open in this version too.
I hope to try my hand at adding some tiny hair to his head eventually.
I can't believe someone pitched for this to be made when practically no one I know would have asked for a Mr Potato Head Mandalorian and baby Yoda
And then Google shows me that THIS exists as well
Amazing... I bet someone somewhere out there have these specific toys in their house and it's certainly gonna be me if I get my hands on these someday. Love how we get merch we never thought we'd get to make these two share the same space iesjfwejfwi.
The Yamdalorian, Luke Frywalker, and the Tot makes a Clan of Three
oh, you say the darksaber is "broken" and no longer represents the Mandalorian head of state?
looks like the perfect opportunity for SOMEONE (cough ahsoka and luke) to help mando & din grogu reforge its crystal into something else cool for perhaps a cowboy Ranger
I’m very happy to finally have head sculpts of Pedro and Oscar aka Din Djarin and Marc Spector in my collection. Although a little smile wouldn’t hurt. They both look quite glum. 😉
It's been a year since I did one of these posts. Literally, the last time I did a collection post was January 2022. Well it's February 2023 and all the Season 2-era Hot Toys are finally rolling out of Sideshow's warehouse (Hot Toys Cobb is still in the pre-ordering stage but I'm not sure I'm going through Sideshow Collectibles again to get mine).
I wish I could find a backdrop designed for 6th scale figures off of Etsy or have the time and expertise to raid the local Michael's to build my own. I'll just have to live with white shelves with holes in the sides for now (or forever). Hugely tempted to build up a Black Series collection though mainly because there are a TON of Black Series-sized backdrops and props being sold all over Etsy. But they don't do it for me like the Hot Toys do.
CASE IN POINT, the new Din and Grogu dropped a few weeks ago which has led to a billion and a half golden photoshoot opportunities. Now I'm just waiting impatiently for the Mandalorian-era Luke to finally show up so that I can continue being fucking unhinged with posing against unremarkable backdrops.
