just a little note for y'all that daffodils actually grow from seeds not bulbs just takes 2 years from seed to bloom so if you love the daffs you have and want more then stop cutting them for bouquets and let them go to seed and bam this one daffodil will have let's see 1.. 2.. 3.. 4.. 5.. at least 10 children blooming next to it in 2 years time FO' FREE just got to be patient.

☝️🤓 sunflowers are very similar in nature:
a sunflower is actually an inflourescence called a head. the relatively inconspicuous flowers in the center of a sunflower head are fertile and produce seeds, while the surrounding ray flowers, which resemble petals, are infertile.

A year after shattering my leg and my emergency surgery, my life has become full again. I seem to get busier by the day and this brings me joy. I am a huge believer in the saying “idle hands are the devil’s workshop” even though I do not believe in a literal devil. My greenhouse has finally arrived and I am waiting for the snow to melt so that we may put it up. Many of my cold crops are ready…

And Wei Wuxian chose strangers over him.#Sometimes two people who once flourished together become each other's worst wounds.#A goodbye to someone you once would have done anything for is a wound you don't easily recover from.#Jiang Cheng could have stood at Wei Wuxian's side and joined him. Consider though; as a sect leader his life is not his own anymore.#JC cannot just abandon the fledgling New Yunmeng Jiang without also dooming people.#And that is the lynch pin of it all. Both of them are trapped by duty. And the older they got the more tangled the web became.#The song I linked (Hi Epic fans) is such a good JC and WWX song that doesn't fit this scene exactly#But it does fit *them*. The words of warning that go dismissed. The Tactical Genius who continues to press on.#The seeds of doubt that grow louder until they creep towards mutiny. Ultimatly this *is* a mutiny! My garden's progress! Exactly one month between each photo <3
#they're all various types of Nasturtiums#that I grew from seeds collected from LAST season's nasturtiums#I'm so proud#except the pink leaf one that is a Fuchsia which I'm still surprised is alive after that winter#bless it#Not all of them are flowering yet eithe#give it 2 weeks and theres gonna be MORE#i'm also growing 3x colours of cornflowers but they're in the other garden bed#I love my plants#GREEN WITCH#mine#flowers#nastiurtum#garden

#beans and cukes and squash are planted!#and the peppers are in pots#and they are all mulched in cozily so they don't dry out in the heat#AND i found some volunteer borage from a few years ago and moved it to a safe space by the fence so it can self-seed :)#and there's yarrow to move from the old bed since it can survive mowing#and my sweet potatoes are hardening off on the porch#and there's dirt on my toes just like there's supposed to be#gonna make this garden grow

It's been a long while since we've seen that hair style!#Something old - in the way you see a little glimpse of a boy that died a long time ago#Something new in a man who has a new direction and purpose. Somehow it is still you. But you can't ever be that *you* again.#I think grief comes from a mourning of futures we lost. We associate it with love-#-but what else do we mourn if not the future we had with them? So too do we feel grief over the future our past self once hoped for.#I love the radish extra because it is so sweet and so full of small sorrows.#WWX is as playful as always with A-Yuan but there is a constant presence of how he no longer sees a future for himself.#Be it in the way he talks about the impossibility of him having children.#Or in the way he creates this silly and artificial game of helping A-yuan grow-up faster.#It's always about the moment to moment with him. Tomorrow isn't guaranteed.#His major hubris moment has yet to come but I would strongly argue that the seeds of doubt were already gestating.#It might be a bit of a 'ship tease' moment when WWX comments that his idea kid would be more like LWJ than himself -#But I consider it to be a true (if unconscious) sentiment that he sees himself as having gone down the wrong path.#It's not a 'I want LWJ to have my kids' moment. It's an 'if I were to have kid - I'd want them to never know what I went through.'#WWX is the parent that breaks the cycle. He walked for 10km through the corpse piles everyday and by god he's driving you to school.#LWJ is also a cycle breaker parent but in the opposite direction. He packs chocolate chip cookies and extra snacks in your bag.

Honestly the more I think about it the more I really think the sun and moon dew mushroom rlly should've been an amorphophallus instead
- extremely rare and take an immense amount of expertise and tedious care and special conditions to bloom (to the point where one blooming is an incredibly proud event for gardens and often publicized to draw visitors nationwide)
- on average take 5-7 years, sometimes even 10 for some varieties, to reach maturity
- human sized
- called the "corpse flower" (because it smells like rotting flesh)
- weird penis shape
- variety called amorphophallus yaoi
