“Never seen it.” Neil says, then his expression brightens. His voice is almost dreamy when he says, “While I was invisible, I heard you ask. And Kevin remembers me. He thought I was a decent backliner.”

“Congratulations, a ten year old thought you were skilled.”

“Shut up. He’s the best in the game, he knows what he’s talking about!”

“And what if he’d said you were shit?” Andrew asks, watching Neil’s face contort into a pout. 

“Then I would’ve believed it.” Neil dips his finger into the knife-gouge puddle and flicks the water off. “I played striker in high school. I was pretty okay at it I think. Next to Kevin I would’ve looked like an idiot.”

“Most people look like idiots next to Kevin.”

“True. Your striker sub makes me cry sometimes,” Neil with a roll of his eyes. “The other day when you were at practice, I watched her trip over her own racquet.”

“She’s lucky Kevin didn’t notice that.”

“Yeah,” Neil smiles and gives him a look. “Do you feel better now?”

After taking the last drag of his cigarette, Andrew nods and flips the butt into the bushes below. He does feel a bit better. A bit further away from the past. Cigarettes and Neil are the cure for a lifetime of misery, even if cigarettes are poisonous and Neil is exy-obsessed.

I would say he’s a Lee-leaning switch but prefers to be on the receiving side of things bc he absolutely LOVES being tickled

And plus the fact that no one can see nor hear him OR make physical contact with him???

Like he’ll pull up his hoodie and cover his face with his arms as he just giggles his heart out

Toothiana absolutely melts when he does it and it just makes her want to tease Jack even more

Believe it or not- he can say the T-word!

It flusters him to no end when he does but at least he can say it, right?

Definitely uses those nicknames as a tease when tickling him and Jack thinks it’s so unfair

Will cuss when he’s getting tickled which he is playfully scolded by Tooth daily

The feet are off limits when your tickling him though

Not because they’re ticklish, but just because he doesn’t like the feel of it, yknow?

It overwhelms him

Will always try and get revenge on the rest of the Guardians- buuuuut that goes as well as you’d expect

Bunnymund is 6’1, North is a literal TANK, Toothiana can fly, and well- Sandy is Sandy

But the kid always does try!

So...what version of Guardian is the official English based on? Cause like...the entire "summoning a ghost army" thing is just...missing from the hospital sequence? My memory is bad but I didn't think it was SO bad that I could hallucinate a scene from when I read the fantranslation or read something in the new one then forget I'd read it within 48 hours?

I'm. So confused.

(Overall the official translation is great, imo one of the best translations 7seas has released so far, and I say that having read nearly all of Guardian in two different fantranslations...and that's part of why I'm so "uhhhhhh" right now)
