They were very muscular beforehand too! They had to manhandle cultists attempting to kill them and their siblings, and had to work to take care of their own homestead. Cutting wood, farming, building, etc. All on their own! You get a lot of muscle that way.

Nut Cookies

Nut cookies (consisting of true nuts, fruit nuts, just... regular nuts ig, and sometimes tree bark bcuz istg the witches will use anything to bake these cookies) are cookies that have nuts as some of their main ingredients. While part of the plants section, they have their own section for cookie biology.

Due to the hard outer layer of nuts, nut cookies have thicker and harder doughs than average cookies, and it almost feels like wood. This outer layer makes them more durable and able take hits more easily, but it also makes them more flammable than the average cookie. The dough colors depend on the type of nut, but it is most often shades of orange or brown. Their eyecing is usually woody colors such as brown, orange, yellow, or red. The colors that deviate from that tend to be more saturated (such as Almond Cookie).

Their frosting (hair) also has the texture of wood, but it's softer and more flexible (like most frostings). It's also thicker and known to be more tedious to styalize.

Like all cookies, these traits can be edited with flavor mixing. Stollen Cookie, for example, has a softer shell due to her being made from bread, but still has many traits of nut cookies due to the nuts in her dough. I honestly want to go over some cookies individually and explain how flavor mixing gave them the traits they have, lol.
