Prompt - Playing with hair

You stared at Casper.

Well, you were looking at Casper’s hair. You were sitting behind Casper as he read a book. You didn’t have work today and Casper said he had the entire day to spend with you.

So both of you were just sitting on your bed doing your own thing. It was nice to be with Casper, even if you both were doing your own thing. But you found yourself staring at his hair rather than focusing on your book.

You loved Casper’s long hair.

The way it flowed down his back, always perfect no matter what, a crystal shade of white. You wanted to know what it felt like, after all Casper spent a long time in the bathroom when he showered.

Not all of the time could be spent on his skin care routine. You knew that, he made you do it with him. Anyway, you wanted to know what exactly Casper’s hair was like.

Was it soft or rough, did it smell nice, could you easily thread it though your fingers? You wanted to know all of this but you also knew that Casper didn’t like people touching his hair.

Maybe he would let you, just for a moment? “Is there a reason you're staring?” Casper asked, turning his head and body to look at you. You flinched and dropped your book in your lap.

“Um��, you said, trying to think of an excuse to tell Casper. Casper just looked at you and soon you told him the truth. “I want to play with your hair”, you said, still staring at Casper’s hair.

Casper blinked, “why would you want to do that?” Casper asked, truthfully not knowing why you would want to play with his hair. “I don’t know, just want to”, you shrugged.

Casper thought, he can’t say he hasn’t thought about you playing with his hair. Casper was protective of his hair, he values it very much. But the thought of you playing with it made Casper giddy.

“I will never understand you mortals, but if you must”, Casper said while turning back around. You stared at Casper as he did this, did he just agree?

You moved your book to your side and scooted closer to Casper. You spread your legs so Casper was partly in between your legs. You reached forward and placed your hand underneath Casper’s hair.

Your hand was hovering over the middle of Casper’s back. You pulled your hand forward till you were cradling his hair in your hands. You moved your hand down till Casper’s hair fell out of your hand.

Casper’s hair felt soft, almost like water falling through your hand. You noticed Casper had stopped reading. His head was now straight up instead of leaning down at the book in his lap.

Casper was also dead still, he wasn't moving a muscle. “Is this okay?” You asked, you really wanted to do this, but not if Casper wasn’t okay with it.

You saw Casper nod, you also heard him let out a deep breath. You looked back down at Casper’s hair. You did the same thing you did the first time, but this time you threaded your fingers in his hair.

You moved your fingers slowly down Casper’s hair. It was easy to move your fingers through his hair. Casper’s hair was smooth and soft, like the best and most expensive fur.

Once you got to the bottom of Casper’s hair and it flowed out of your hands you did it again. Meanwhile, Casper didn’t know how to feel about this.

Casper was still tense.

Casper could feel his face flush as you did this. He could feel your hands run through his hair with sure care. Like his hair was made of glass and one wrong move it shatters.

Casper could feel your gaze on him. Casper felt like leaning closer to you yet pulling away at the same time. After running your fingers though Casper’s hair for a while you cradled Casper’s hair in your hands.

You brought Casper’s hair up while you leaned down. You pressed Casper’s hair to your nose and took a deep breath. Casper’s hair smelled like lemons and suger, sour yet sweet.

Casper was knocked out of his internal dilemma, “did you just smell my hair?” Casper asked, shocked. “Yes, and?” You responded, taking another sniff of Casper hair.

Casper blinked a couple times before leaning back onto your chest. You smiled and wrapped your arms around Casper’s waist. Burning your head in Casper’s hair.

Casper leaned his head back and glared at you but you just smiled. Casper leaned his head back down but he smiled. You moved Casper’s ponytail to his chest and played with it as it rested on his chest.

Casper watched as you ran your fingers through your hair. It calmed Casper down, it made his muscles relax. Casper felt current bad thoughts leave his head as he relaxed into your chest and closed his eyes.

You smiled, happy that you were able to finally make Casper let go of stuff. He needed to relax more. You pressed your nose into Casper’s hair and took a deep breath.

You needed to play with Casper���s hair more.

Uh, it'd probably snap the few remaining strands tethering him to sanity. Given that his ability is draining the life from people, imagine the baby manifested that ability in utero, killing the MC before the birth and leaving Ray to have to perform a post-mortem delivery in order to save the final reminder of his beloved.

And because he knows the NAHA will swoop in and do everything they can to get their hands on that... child, he acts like it was a stillbirth and keeps them hidden and locked away from the world.

I’m so sorry but my ass will NEVER shut up about how the writers came up with an honestly GOOD conflict with the Binary Bros in Part One, only to immediately drop everything that made it interesting in Part Two :-:

Like, my biggest gripe is how they had Demetri bring up The Arm during his and Hawk’s fight for the flag, only to never mention it again. When he brought it up, a lot of people, including myself, thought that Part Two would probably explore that repressed hurt a little more. Because surely the writers wouldn’t write that into the script if they had no use for it!! Right? RIGHT???? (they did, in fact, end up not using it)

They could’ve used their conflict to make them have a very needed conversation about everything that happened between them in Seasons 2 and 3, because it’s very clear that they never properly addressed that, but they didn’t. Instead, their conflict was handled in what was probably the worst way it could’ve been.

They kept adding on all these new arguments for them to have, all of which were petty as shit and I could not care less for. The cheating plot especially gets me pissed because though I’m a firm believer that Demetri and Yasmine are both raging faggots, the writers aren’t and have been writing Demetri as genuinely being all over her, and that Demetri would NEVER cheat on her (he literally calls her his goddess like nuh uh he’s not a cheater on my soul).

And not only that, but everything they did had NO VALUE!!! All their “arguments” had no substance, especially since they weren’t even really fighting!! Wdym Demetri was supposedly extremely pissed at Hawk, but then they’re sitting together like normal at the bar? Wdym they’re suddenly ganging up on Kenny together?? IT MAKES NO SENSE!!!

Speaking of the Kenny thing, it directly contradicts Demetri’s character for him to be suspicious of Kenny. He was suspicious of him because he immediately forgave Devon for the laxatives, but he did that EXACT SAME THING in Season 3!! And his was worse!! He immediately forgave Hawk for months of torment and for BREAKING HIS ARM!!!! I mean, the writers COULD HAVE used that as an opportunity to have him actually reflect on that and ask himself why he decided to be so forgiving if he’s suspicious of Kenny for doing so, but guess what? THEY DIDN’T!!!!!

Hawk’s line to Demetri telling him to not do shitty things if he didn’t wanna face consequences is also extremely contradictory, considering the fact that he’s done some of the most shitty things out of all the teens on the show!! ESPECIALLY TO THE GUY HE WAS SAYING THAT LINE TO!!!!! Hawk did a bunch of shitty things to Demetri, but he never faced any consequences for them! He faced consequences for betraying Cobra Kai mid-house-fight through them shaving his mohawk, and he faced consequences for being a general asshole through him being an outcast in the beginning of Season 4, but he never faced any consequences SPECIFICALLY for what he put Demetri through. Again, the writers COULD HAVE used it for some reflection, BUT THEY DIDN’T!!!! GOSH!!!!!

Their conflict this season was SOLELY a plot device to make them uncoordinated and therefore bad at fighting because the writers knew that if they were coordinated then they would’ve been slamming all those other wack ass dojos from the beginning. That was it. Both characters came out largely unchanged, if not worse, than before.

The locker room make-up scene was good, but it irks me when I remember that none of their REAL problems were solved by it. I start tweaking out when I remember that they’re still never gonna be able to actually talk about their issues. Like wdym it’s canon that Demetri still has some kind of repressed hurt over having his arm broken but is never gonna actually address it :(( the dick CANNOT be that good for him to keep forgiving and forgetting im begging 😭🙏

One thing I've noticed about the erasure of aspec identities is that it's eerily familiar to the erasure of non-binary identities. Often times Aspec identities are viewed as Blank slates to slap other identities on top of - similar to non-binary identities.

A character uses strictly they/them and people will say "Okay but I'm going to use he/him or she/her because x looks like a boy/girl to me" A character strictly states they are not interested in romance and people will say "okay but I'm going to call them a lesbian/gay/any other sexuality because obviously they must be interested in x even though they said they weren't interested at all."

"I can ignore this characters canonical non-binary identity because people can headcanon whatever they want and I headcanon them as cis instead! no this isn't erasure!!! it's fiction it doesn't hurt anyone! pronouns don't equal gender anyways!!!"

"I can ignore this characters canonical aspec identity because people can ship/headcanon whatever they want and I headcanon this character as allo/not aspec instead! no this isn't erasure!!! it's fiction it doesn't hurt anyone! aspecs can still date and have sex anyways!!!"

guys it turns out the local files of hades ii (and probably hades i) are very easily editable even if you suck at coding. straight up lua files in there. edit that model scale factor from 1.3 to 8 and play with canonically accurate god sizes. make it so polyphemus can't do anything besides hop around. make melinoe baby size. the world is your oyster. i also made Eris suck at fighting because I hate her <3

Demetri is definitely not a big fan of horror movies but Hawk 100% is, so they settle for binge watching the Alien franchise.

++ Dem obviously talks through movies, Eli probably wouldn’t unless he is really compelled to. Silly dynamic where they would typically hate being around that type of movie watcher but it’s different because they’re so close it becomes endearing.

(Hawk looks odd, my warmup sketch was much more Hawk-like. Maybe the hair being down trips me out idk)

Prompt - Scars

"Then I was like, no that's wrong", you said.

Casper nodded, wanting to know what happened next. You had just gotten home from work and Casper was listening to you rant about work.

Mortals seemed to be really stupid somethings.

Casper was about to ask what happened next when he noticed something. You removed your jacket and Casper noticed a scar on your arm.

"what's what?" Casper asked, getting off the bed to walk towards you. Casper felt his blood boil. Who dared to this to his sunshine. You followed Casper's gaze.

"Oh this, yeah I got it when that grand piano fell from a window", you said, smiling at the weird memory, now that you know it was Casper that did that.

Meanwhile, Casper wasn't smiling.

He had done that, Casper was the one to do that. Casper had hurt you, he was the one who dared. Casper reached forward, touching the top of the scar.

You flinched, "does it hurt", Casper asked. Drawing his finger back a bit. "No, not really. It's pretty old, maybe a few years", you said. Casper touched it again.

Running his finger up and down it. It was light pink against your skin, it was right below your shirt. On your upper arm right above your elbow.

Casper did this, he had hurt you years ago. "You okay Casper?" You asked, noticing Casper looked a little out of it. "I did this", Casper said, still tracing the scar.

You looked back at the scar, "yeah you did, but that was years ago", you said. Casper looked at you, "but I did it, I hurt you", Casper said, his voice full of hatred for himself.

"Do you have more?"

Casper asked, still tracing your scar. You sighed, knowing that you weren't getting out of this. You moved away from Casper and removed your shirt.

You held your shirt in your hands as Casper looked over you. Scars were over your back and arms. "There's more on the legs", you said. "This ones from the fire at work", you said.

Pointing to a burn scar. You started telling Casper about all of the scars, all from this Casper did. Casper watched with a blank face. He did all of this.

Casper traced each scar as you told him about them. Each one a failed attempt at your death. Casper felt tears brim his eyes but he blinked to keep them away.

Casper was feeling really guilty.

He did this, to the person he loved. Loved more then anything. "I'm sorry", Casper said. Tracing the largest scar on your back. "It's fine, it's in the past", you said.

Though you knew Casper wasn't convinced.

"You didn't know me then, you were just doing what you thought was right", you said. You took Casper's free hand and held it. His other still on your scar.

"You wouldn't do it again and your sorry you even did it, that's all I need", you said with a smile. Casper looked at you, you were fine with it.

You weren't mad at him.

You weren't angry that Casper hurt you, because it was in the past. Casper was sorry and he will never hurt you again. "You're right", Casper grabbed your arm and lifted it.

Casper placed a kiss on your scar, "I will never hurt you again", Casper said. You smiled, "that's all I want, now back to my story", you said before going back to ranting.

Casper smiled, he would never hurt you again.

my take on the severance finale drama is. i think outie vs innie is a smokescreen because i still view them as the same person, and as long as the characters continue to see it as a “me vs you” problem, they take their eyes off the real enemy, lumon, who convinced/continue to force them to make that choice in the first place. that made this episode very frustrating to watch for me lol (even though i think it was in character all around, that is not a complaint)

if i had to pick a “side,” i am more pro helly and pro gemma than i am pro either mark. both because i want the best for them, want more of them, and think they represent more interesting situations regarding severance, but also because i really am hoping severance stops being the mark show to let them drive instead for a while
