Buck being the one to tell Christopher, without anyone prompting him to be the person to tell Christopher, is so insane.
Like you're a guy in your late 20s and you've got this best friend that you've known for like three years and you've been through some insane shit together and he's got this kid and you love this kid and this kid loves you. And you'd die for the kid and you'd die for your friend.
And then your best friend gets shot right in front of you and the only reason he didn't die in the street is because you crawled into active fire to save him but you still blame yourself for not being able to do more.
And you go to your best friends house while he's in surgery and you don't know if he's going to survive and you need to be the one to tell his kid. No one asked you to do it, no one even suggested it, but you know it needs to be you.
This whole thing is insane. It's so insane and I love it.
Bobby: I keep a picture of all of us in my wallet. Whenever I face difficulties, I take it out and stare at the picture.
The 118: Awwww-
Bobby: And I tell myself "If I can deal with these idiots, then I can deal with anything."
The 118: Oh.
Athena: I think my husband is a danger.
Chimney: To us?
Hen: To himself?
Eddie: Buck, wait -
Buck, only heard 'Bobby' and 'danger', already out the door: Hold on, pops! I'm coming to help you!
Chim: Would you stab your best friend in the leg for 10 million dollars?
Eddie: Buck, you stab me, and then when my leg gets better, we buy a big-ass house.
Buck: You can stab me too, then we'll have 20 million, and we could buy Chris a car and put some money aside for his college fund.
Eddie: You're so smart. Good thinking.
