Bowers & Wilkins “Abalone Pearl finish” Nautilus loudspeaker !
The meticulous manufacturing process and limited production capacity make acquiring a pair of Nautilus speakers pretty challenging. The air of exclusivity and anticipation to the ownership is only possible if you’re willing to wait a year for delivery after shelling out close to $125,000 for the Abalone Pearl version of the Nautilus.

One should always have at least 2 craft projects going. That way, when one of them is messed up and misbehaving, you can switch to another, and let the first one sit there and think about what it's done.

I'd like to introduce to everyone this horrid thing I created about a year ago but haven't shown many people yet (probably for the best).
Tumblr media
This is Baby. AKA The Monster. AKA Sight Tremendous and Abhorred, AKA Vile Insect, AKA A Thing Such As Even Dante Could Not Have Conceived, etc, etc. It's made from bits of scrap fabric I scrounged from various sources and is roughly the size of a human toddler. Its design is based on Mary Shelly's original descriptions of Frankenstein's creature.

But that's not all! Behold!
Tumblr media
You can dissect this little abomination to reveal a full set of crocheted, knitted, and scrap fabric organs, all hand-stitched by yours truly!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It has a heart, stomach, lungs, liver, small and large intestine, kidneys, bladder, and, of course, a brain! So it can ponder the horrors of its own existence!
Tumblr media
I used this pattern by Less Than Three for the heart. I ended up felting it because I screwed up most of the stitches (I was relatively new to crochet at the time). The result was a bit of a blobby mess, but oh well.
So yeah. This thing lives in my house now (my family hates it). I have yet to reap the full consequences of my hubris.

here's what ur gonna do. ur gonna get a plain tshirt from anywhere. from ur closet or ur dad or the thrift store or whatever. then ur gonna go to the dollar store or whatever equivalent u have in ur country. ur gonna get fabric paint and a sponge. ur gonna go home and take a cereal box or a cover of a magazine or something similar. ur gonna draw a design on it [or words. or print out a picture and trace it onto the cardstock) and cut out a stencil. then ur gonna use the sponge to dab the paint onto the shirt using the stencil. ur gonna do that thinly in 2-3 coats until it's opaque but not too stiff. then ur gonna let it dry for 24 hours. ur gonna cover that shirt with a thin towel and press an iron against the design for 30 seconds. then ur gonna wash it & wear it. got it?

Logo and Website for KnotMeKnotYou Macrame Jewelry
Tumblr media Tumblr media
KnotMeKnotYou is a macrame artist from Russia who creates unique jewelry pieces using artisanal techniques and high-quality crystals from all over the world.
Both the ornate plant-based pattern for the logo and the typeface are reminiscent of Slavic folk art. The logo's visual complexity complements the feeling of "a treasure chest" one gets when walking into this artisan's store. The organic earthy color-scheme reminds one that all pieces in the store are unique and hand-crafted.
The website's clear light-colored background creates a flattering backdrop for the rich juicy colors of the item photos. The arched-window motif coupled with the brass-colored decorative typeface of the headings, adds a touch of oriental feel reminiscent of the Indian brass details used in the artist's jewelry pieces.
