i have a set of 10 lb handweights that i found on the side of the road and then when i remember to (like 2-3 a week) i do reps of whatever in the mirror staring in silence til i get bored.

The Tiger's Daughter crawls through your window late at night. You don't know why you were up, but she tells you that you were expecting her. Honey-cordial crawls off her tongue; she rubs herself against the soft cloth of your robe, says you're comfortable. What are you doing in the kitchen? Her teeth are hard and white. She could eat.
You begin dipping sardines in batter. She's elbow-deep in your icebox, unearthing a cactus-fruit wine you didn't know you had. "How nostalgic!" she purrs as she uncorks the bottle. You remember that magenta isn't a real color as she stains her dress with it; a little glass for you, a bigger one for her. She hasn't eaten sardines for years. "I mustn't," she says as she licks the oil from her finger, from the countertop. Eye contact like furtive candle flickers. She knows exactly what she's doing. She knows exactly what it's worth with you.
You make up the couch for her. She lays down with the rest of the bottle. She begins reciting poetry; you've never heard the author, but the words roost in your head like little golden birds, there forever. Her arms stretch; there is a ripple of amber fur along her skin, her body remembering its myriad shapes. She asks you for poetry and you pick a bad rhyme immediately. She laughs. She eats the little salty fish, bones and all.
You sit beside her and think. You pick a better rhyme. She builds on it, backways, reductive. It ends up simpler and more complete than you expected yourself capable of. Her tail is on your lap and she asks if you ever found a lover. Whatever your reply, she retreats. She never had a tail. You were dreaming.
She leaves most of the fish on the plate. She mustn't. In her sleep, the Tiger's Daughter is human-sized. Her gold-silk draping isn't enough to keep her warm. You fetch a scratchy cotton blanket from the wardrobe, sumac red. She touches it with cream-soft fingers then hides her hands beneath her dress. Drunk little murmurs. The world ripples. Actually.
She's gone in the morning. She leaves a handweight of gold on your kitchen table. In the afternoon, she sends a summons for dinner. In the evening, an assassin.
So it is, to love her. To be loved.
So she tells you.

Afaik wrist and ankle weights won't really do anything but risk injury (for the same reason that you need proper form to use handweights effectively), but a weighted vest can supposedly strengthen your muscles and improve your bone density.
So while naruto may be fake as hell, the real shit is dragon ball z

Golf swing speed is an elusive term for most amateur golfers. We’ve all heard of it and know it relates somehow to longer drives, but how can we increase golf swing speed quickly and effectively?
Do you think it’s swing harder? Have you tried that approach? What happened? I can take a wild guess. The ball didn’t go anywhere! You were so tense that your golf swing speed was actually much slower.
That’s not what you want!
So how do you achieve the ever-elusive higher golf swing speed?
It starts with your engine. Your core. The center of your machine. The stronger and more flexible you get your core, the faster the arms, hands, and club will come through without swinging harder. Resulting in longer and much straighter drives.

It’s rotational!
In ALL sports movements…what dictates the power? One guess. It’s your core. That’s why athletes spend so much time throwing weighted medicine balls, pulling weighted cables, and doing tons of twisting exercises with resistance.
The same approach should be taken for the golfer wanting to improve golf swing speed. Start with simple rotational exercises that incorporate both strength and flexibility like the seated rotation with a club.
Sit upright with a club on your shoulders behind your neck.
Grab each end with your hands.
While facing forward, focusing straight ahead, rotate to the right and back to the left.
You will feel tight and restricted at first.
Maintain an erect posture with eyes straight ahead.
Do this slowly at first, then build up the rate of speed.
Rotate back and through 10 times for 3 sets.
This is a starting (basic) core exercise that will make a HUGE difference if you haven’t worked on your core before. You will notice a difference in your range of motion and power output on the course quickly.
You would then progress up to more resistance related rotational exercises with handweights, tubing (cables), weighted medicine balls and even weighted clubs.
With just a little bit of effort, you will see a dramatic increase in golf swing speed!

I got these hoping they will help. At this point and time, they have caused me much more swelling and more shooting pains up to my elbow and a lot of numbness...the effects of carpel tunnel. It’s weird. I never thought I’d be reaching for my 2 lb weights again but here we are. It took 11 days into this program to realize HELLO, I can modify with smaller weights instead of pushing too hard through it (and making it worse) or just not doing the reps at all (woof). My tennis elbow is still hangin’ around. And it’s killing me to not be able to lift to my full potential. I’m kind of newly obsessed with lifting thanks to ChaLEAN Extreme. 🙌🏻 But I’ve been nervous to go too hard - because, ALWAYS listen to your body - and my elbow clearly isn’t 100%. Not sure why it took me so long to have this simple realization, but I’m dropping it here in case you need to hear it, too.
