joão félix x ronaldo!footballer!reader
synopsis: joão steals your celebration as his way of telling you that goal was yours
a/n: plot is set during the euro qualifier game against luxembourg in march where he did that celebration with his arms crossed (ifykyk). joão is barça player bc it's perfect for this plot and y/n is barça femeni player. again, perfect for the plot. ALSO THANK YOU FOR 700++ FOLLOWERS, ik it's bee a while since i was on here but i really do appreciate all the love you give on my works 🥹🥹 so enjoy this one!
content/warnings: fluffy as hell, y/n taking a promise extremely seriously, dialogue in portuguese and spanish, eva and mateo being the cutest twin siblings ever, not proofread, lmk if i missed anything! 💫
🎵 streaming: infrunami - steve lacy
"papá nos estamos mirando. devuélvenos el saludo." gio begins talking, but you were in your football la-la-land.
i could've done a bicycle kick yesterday, you thought. it could've been my match.
don't you just love it? being in your own thoughts for the 500th time today. sense the sarcasm? "y/n," gio catches your attention, snapping you out of your head. "joão te busca, cariño." [dad is looking for us, wave back. joão is looking for you, sweetheart.]
your eyes run all over the pitch before landing on the squad, joão the second to last guy in the line-up. he sends you a wave, grinning to himself when he sees you facing him. he'd never know if you were making eye contact or not; he was just happy you were there. you wave back at him, not even bothering to hide your smile from your stepmother.
"estoy feliz de que estés feliz. y tienes suerte porque es un chico lindo," gio winks before you both share a laugh; something you missed sharing with georgina. because of your tight schedule and the fact that you play football in spain and don't live in riyadh with your parents and siblings, you'd missed out every single important thing that's happened in the ronaldo house. eva and mateo's sixth birthday, alana's first day of school, bella's first steps, junior joining the al-nassr academy. everything. "¿sabes lo que significa? bebés lindos." [i'm happy you're happy. and you're lucky because he's a cute boy. and you know what that means? cute babies.]
"mamá!" you try to stop gio from going any further. because babies? aren't you too young to be thinking about children right now? your career at barcelona had only begun to skyrocket, and joão had only recently began his season stint at the club. children and settling down should be the last thing on both your minds. although every now and then, you can't help but think about it. would you and joão last long enough for children of your own in the future? "i'm only 22." you mutter under your breath, soft enough for gio to completely miss it.
the referee's whistle snaps you out of your own thoughts — a place you'd often find yourself in when you're out of the pitch. you were worried about the fact that joão barely got to feel the ball. especially after he promised you he'd give you a strike tonight.
"no, i promise," his voice lingers around you from hours ago. "i'll make sure i get the ball, and it's yours, querida. eu prometo." [i promise]
well, he promised — and promises stick with you like gorilla glue. even at the ripe old age of 22, you still believe in pinky promises the way georgina still believes in romance movies. that's besides the point.
it was up till the point after your dad was awarded a penalty. he took it, it went in, your dad is a worldwide legend, blah blah blah. you knew it was bound to happen everytime portugal play. the game was inching up to 14 minutes as your legs begin to bounce nervously. what made it worse was that mateo was on your lap when it happened.
"querida, why are your legs shaking?" mateo's neck cranes to look at you. all you could give him was a weak smile.
"nothing, 'zinho. just nervous for papai like all of us, né?" you answer, hoping mateo will take it and leave it alone.
"you're nervous for joão." if there's one thing you could curse about mateo, it's how close he is to you, even though you no longer live with your family. on his day, mateo would feel lonely — even though he's a twin — and ask gio to facetime you. most of the time, he'd catch you at the right time; driving back home from training, going out for lunch with joão on an off day. and sometimes you wouldn't pick up, occupied with training for the upcoming game that week.
mateo would never fail to call you at least twice a month, understanding how tight your schedule is and that he has to leave you alone sometimes, afraid you'd be exhausted after a long day of training. sometimes you'd give him a call too, missing your queridinho on your day.
"não somos todos?" you nervously chuckle, your hands were resting on mateo's lap, its fingers slowly picking at your cuticles. [aren't we all?]
"si, but you're stressed," mateo pouts. "joão told me you made him promise to score tonight. and you know what, y/n? i hope he scores too." he gives you his typical mateo smile; the absolute sweetest thing you could ever see.
not even a mere few seconds later, a cross from bernardo comes in. you try to anticipate which portugal boy it'd reach. you released a breath you didn't realise you were holding when you see the ball making immediate contact with joão's head, as he nicks the ball in past the luxembourg goalkeeper.
the crowd was anticlimactic, though, you'd have to say. there is a totally valid reason for it. is joão offside or not? the referee blows his whistle, giving the goal to portugal as they now lead the game 2-0. you carefully picked mateo up as you stand, the boy's arms in the air as he celebrates the allowed goal from his hermano. you watch as joão turns to the grandstand your family is situated at.
you can only assume he's looking at you at that point, but gio turns to face you and mateo to state the obvious. "el te esta mirando!" gio screams in a whispery manner. you'd only assumed that, but you were wearing the white portugal away kit, allowing joão to identify you clear as day from the pitch compared to the rest of your family who were clad in black winter coats. you agree, the weather is a bit nippy in luxembourg.
joão looks you dead in the eye — or you assume — and crosses his arms. you immediately realise what it meant, smiling to yourself as your dad, bruno and bernardo begin to crowd him and give him words of congratulations on the smooth yet second nature goal of his.
you wait till after the game, where they defeat luxembourg 6-0 to regroup with joão and cristiano. cris, before anything, would engulf gio and bella first, giving joão full leeway to reach for you first. "did you see?!" the taste of excitement is still sweet and prominent on joão's tongue when he speaks.
"i saw! my celebration at barça. thief." you joke, pushing a fist into his bicep playfully.
"amo-te, linda. obrigado por estar aqui." joão smiles, not hesitating to squish your face into his chest. [i love you beautiful, thank you for being here]
"eu vim buscar o papai, mas tudo bem." you shrug jokingly before finding yourself in your papai's arms and listening to him thank you for coming to a portugal game — an away game, no less. [i came for dad, but okay]

“i thought you’d at least ask me to be your valentine…” “we’ve been together for three years, i thought that was a given.” + Daniel ❤️
Tumblr media
summ. – cinema date night and ice cream with daniel rating – mature (sexual references) word count – 736 masterlist
“That was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.”
Daniel’s hand was intertwined with yours as he guided you through the popcorn-scented foyer, cap covering his unruly curls and praying he didn’t get recognised. Cinemas were usually on the no-go zone for the two of you, just for the simple fact that Daniel couldn’t really go anywhere without getting hounded and there had been a couple of occasions where things got a little out of hand. But you had suggested a movie night and he never wanted to shoot down your ideas, especially if it meant spending a couple of hours with you in the dark.
“The worst!” You laughed, “J-Lo really deserved better – honestly, I didn't think it would be that bad… then it got violent and weird so I’m sorry for dragging you out for that.”
Daniel shook his head fervently, “No way – you could literally drag me to the depths of hell, which you will, and I’d be happy.”
He was sweet, naughty but sweet as he pulled you closer into his side, unclasping your hands and wrapping his arm around your shoulder now that the path was clear. Stepping in perfect time.
It was chillier than you expected in Hollywood and you were grateful for his warmth. You could always rely on Daniel for that extra bit of body heat whenever you needed it, sharing is caring he would always say before wrapping you up like a burrito. The two of you walked for a couple of blocks, pointing out all of the interesting characters tumbling out of restaurants after too many glasses of wine and admiring the bright neon signs until Daniel stopped at a quaint, hole in the wall ice-cream shop on the strip.
You both picked up a waffle cone each, the overloaded ice cream already melting down the sides before you’d even left the store. Daniel had requested salted caramel, you chose boysenberry – both happily content with your choices as you continued to walk back the few blocks to your car.
“We really don’t do this enough, baby. Just you and me, pounding the late night pavement,” Daniel joked through his sincerity like he always did, licking his cone and glancing down at you.
“Maybe we have been a little stuck in our ways but when you’re home, I just want you all to myself,” You reasoned, bumping your shoulder into his arm gently and making him chuckle, “If I could lock you up and throw away the key I would.”
“Kinky,” Daniel quipped back before taking another spoonful of ice cream into his smirking mouth, “I thought you would’ve at least asked me to be your Valentine. So mean…” He trailed off, taunting.
You scoffed and rolled your eyes before glancing up at your pain in the arse boyfriend, “Honey, we’ve been together for three years, I thought that was a given!”
“Still hurts, babe. Like a knife through the heart,” He grimaced and held his free hand to his chest, putting on a show for you and the couples sitting at the restaurant you were walking past.
“Poor little Danny,” You mocked quietly and grasped the hand that was still clutching his broken heart, “What could I ever do to make it up to you?”
He chuckled at your sultry voice and innocent eyes act you were playing up for him, stopping in the middle of the sidewalk to really look at you. For a second, he thought he was dreaming. A Valentine's Day spent physically with you was like Christmas and his birthday all rolled into one. He never cared about the stupid holiday before he met you but now, standing here with you in the windy Los Angeles streets, he cared more than anything. Daniel loved you.
“I can think of a couple'a things… but a kiss would be nice.”
You didn’t hesitate to step forward and press a slow, tender kiss to his lips. They were soft and sweet from the sugary toppings, both flavours of your ice cream mixing together as he snaked his arm around your waist, holding you close. You didn’t need a rom-com to tell you what true love felt like.
You were experiencing it right there, on Hollywood Boulevard.

True Love Stories Never Have Endings
A belated birthday gift for @emmcarstairs 💜 I tried to put your most favorite ships together in a fan fiction, I hope you like it!
London, Spring 2015
Emma sat on the new parquet of the living room at Blackthorn Hall, sifting through a couple of cream-colored cardboard boxes. She and Julian found them in a closet in the only part of the house that they hadn’t renovated yet, the one dating from the 60’s. Emma wasn’t sure why they’d left that one for last. Perhaps Julian had foresighted that they’d find something valuable in there.
“There are a lot of personal belongings in this wing,” she noticed when they started checking the cupboards and the drawers. “I wonder who lived here? Do you have any idea?”
“I really don’t,” Julian shrugged. “Perhaps a Blackthorn?” he offered, but he thought he would have known.
“Could your father and uncle might’ve lived here?” Emma wondered, but Julian quickly shook his head. She went back to her box, and found a tiny one with gray stripes on it. Inside, there were a bunch of black and white photographs with the name of the person pictured and the date on the back. In most of the photos there were little kids, three boys and a girl. They looked happy, and they seemed familiar even though they lived a century earlier. “Teddy, Kitty, Willy, Robby,” Emma said out loud, “they were Blackthorns.”
“Blackthorns who named all their children with names ending in -y,” Julian came closer to look at the photos. “I guess it’s a family tradition to follow a theme,” he laughed, thinking about his own family. “Perhaps they inspired the next generations.” He continued his search until he found a box made of wood in one of the drawers of the closet. Some of the blue velvet covering it was coming off, but it was still in good condition. There was a golden inscription on the top, with the Blackthorn family symbol underneath. “L&J, Spring 1908. True Love Stories Never Have Endings.”
“Wow, this looks old. My parents used to have one too, it belonged to my grandma,” Emma said, suddenly interested in what Julian was looking at. “Who are L&J?”
“Blackthorns?” Julian offered with a shrug, pointing to the circle of thorns on the velvet. “I believe it was them,” he continued after opening the box, where he found a few pictures. The couple pictured could’ve been around their age. “It must have been their wedding day, considering the poses. The girl has a bouquet and this looks like wedding attire, I don’t know,” he showed it to Emma.
“Lucie and Jesse Blackthorn, May 13, 1908. Our wedding day. You’re right,” Emma read aloud. “There’s even a tiny heart drawn here, how cute,” she smiled. “They must’ve been your great-great-great grandparents, I guess? They look a lot like you and your siblings” she observed the picture better. “I think I remember this guy from one of the portraits at the Los Angeles Institute.”
“I believe he is Rupert’s son,” he said. “They look so much like Livvy and Ty when they were little children,” Julian continued with a faraway expression, pointing a finger on the locket around the girl’s neck. It was the same one Julian had given to Livvy and that now Ty kept. “They must be the reason the Blackthorn family didn’t cease to exist after Rupert died.”
“Indeed,” Emma covered his hand with hers. “And that you’re here, with me, today,” she said lovingly, pressing her lips on his. “So thank you, Lucie and Jesse Blackthorn?”
“We should keep these photographs and memories in a safe place,” Julian nodded. “These are family heirlooms, like the locket,” he showed the two rings he found inside to Emma. They had the same inscription as the top of the box. “I don’t want them to be lost in this ruckus.”
“Smart idea,” she agreed. “Let’s see what more we have here, then.”
London, Spring 1908
It was the day before her much awaited marriage with Jesse, and Lucie was too busy worrying about her vows. Not only the vows she would exchange during the ceremony, but also the ones she would say in front of the guests before the wedding feast. She knew she could’ve just thanked everyone for being there, but as usual, she’d been verbose, as Cordelia had defined her speech. “You need to be more concise, the guests would be starving once you’re done,” she’d suggested. She was probably right, but she still couldn’t help but write half a page of words of affection and gratitude towards her future husband and her guests. They would understand.
Jesse couldn’t even sit down to eat dinner the evening before the wedding. He asked his aunt Cecily and uncle Gabriel to spend the night at their house in Bedford street. “It’s tradition that I am not to see Lucie the day before the wedding,” he explained. “Dear, traditions are made to be broken,” Cecily said. “You’re just like your uncle Gabriel,” she laughed, and told him that they had been in a similar living arrangement before they got married, and he had done the same. “I went to my brother’s house the night before our wedding,” uncle Gabriel started, and they spent the remainder of the time talking about past memories, trying to ease Jesse’s anxiety.
Neither he or Lucie could sleep that night, but at least it was all a blur after preparations started early in the morning. Lucie could barely remember her mother and her friends helping her with her hair and dress, before she set for the sanctuary. Nor Jesse could recall the embarrassment he felt realizing his palms were sweaty when he caught sight of the girl he loved walking down the aisle. Lucie didn’t forget her vows, while Jesse had a brief lapse of memory but he quickly remembered the words he had to say. “I’m sorry for earlier,” he told Lucie when they were taking pictures after the ceremony ended. “I was totally dumbstruck,” he confessed shyly.
“No need to apologize,” she muttered with a grin, still blushing. “We made it through, that’s what matters the most, right? ”
“No talking until we take at least five pictures,” said the vampire photographer her father hired. “It takes a few minutes to process these, so stay still and smile for the camera! Don’t you want your descendants to remember you?”
“Of course we do,” Jesse told the guy with a pleasant smile, “but let me kiss my wife before we start.” He glanced at Lucie, and she waited expectantly to be kissed.
The vampire had to cough to make them stop. “Shadowhunters in love, the things I abhor the most,” he muttered, “I wonder why I accepted this job!”
“To make a living?” Lucie chanced, but the vampire rolled his eyes. “I apologize, that was bad. Please, we’ll behave. We’re eager to have our pictures taken,” she said excitedly.
The vampire shook his head and muttered how Shadowhunter's sense of humor was of poor taste, but he still took their wedding pictures, preserving their memory to this day.
So, thank you Emma and Julian for remembering your Blackthorn ancestors.

Happy Birthday musician Davey Johnstone, who forged a career of over 50 years as Elton John;s guitarist.
Born David William Logan Johnstone  on this day 1951 in Edinburgh, Davey was having a perfectly fine career in the folk music world before he was whisked away to a life of rock and roll with one of the worlds biggest “pop” stars Elton John.
Having moved to London in 1968, Davey got his first album credit that year on the Noel Murphy LP, Another Round. Noel and Davey then formed the band Draught Porridge in 1969. In 1970 Davey played on the album Seasons by Magna Carta and in 1971 joined that group as second guitarist. Their next album, Songs From Wasties Orchard, was helmed by Elton’s producer, Gus Dudgeon.Gus asked Davey to contribute to Bernie Taupin’s solo album in 1971. Davey played guitar, sitar, banjo, mandolin and lute while Bernie read his poetry aloud.
Soon after, in August 1971, Gus called upon Davey once more, this time to play acoustic guitar and mandolin parts on four songs on Elton’s Madman Across The Water album, including the intricate harmonic part that anchors the title track. A week or so later, Elton invited Davey to join the band full-time, joining drummer Nigel Olsson and bassist Dee Murray both in the studio and on stage — and thus was born the group that solidified Elton’s sound.
Since then Davey has been an indispensable part of most of Elton’s albums.Through the decades, Johnstone has squeezed in an equally impressive, varied body of work as an in-demand session player. His roster includes Stevie Nicks, Bob Seger, Alice Cooper, Rod Stewart, Meat Loaf, the Pointer Sisters, Olivia Newton-John, Judy Collins, and many others. He has also done movie music for James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer.
Johnstone lives in Los Angeles with his wife. He has seven children.
On 10 June 2009, Johnstone played a landmark 2,000th show as a member of the Elton John Band at the SECC Glasgow , he is currently serving as John's musical director, in addition to his guitar work. I looked through the credits for the Elton John film, Rocketman, due out this month and he doesn't seem to feature in it, you will however be able to see Scotsman Richard Madden as Eltons manager John Reid, a much better casting than Irishman Aidan Gillen, who played Reid in the Freddie Mercury bio, Bohemian Rhapsody
.Johnstone recently said "I’ve Had an Amazing, Unbelievable Career”: He released a new solo album – Deeper Than My Roots, only his third solo project, from what I can gather he put the album together during the hiatus most people had during the covid pandemic.
For the musicians out there he mainly uses a Les Paul Deluxe which he bought inn 1972. As you can imagine he has used a plethora of guitars including his trusty ’72 Les Paul Deluxe, a Gibson L-5, B.B. King Lucille, a ’69 Strat, and an Ernie Ball EVH. Acoustics included a Takamine, Gibson J-200, and a late-’60s Yamaha FG-140 he played on many of John’s ’70s classics.

My Hero Academia Characters and the Music They Listen to
This is my first time writing headcanons on Tumblr so be nice and don’t be afraid to like/reblog!
✨Aoyama - I feel like he’d obvi listen to French music. I also see him liking pop stuff (bubblegum pop). Artists: Poppy, Katy Perry, Bananarama, Aqua, and New Kids on The Block
🥊Mina - For her I see her as more hip hop since she can breakdance well. Artists: Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, Run D.M.C, Charli XCX, Technotronic, and OutKast
🐸Froppy - She’s very chill so I picture different kinds of lo-fi like Japanese and Rainy lo-fi. Artists: Florence + The Machine, Fitz and the Tantrums, and Weezer
👟Iida - I honestly couldn’t even tell you a specific genre. I can’t really picture one, only just certain artists. Probs some synth wave if I’m being honest. Artists: Queen, Lost Years, Timecop, Børns, MØ, Lumineers, Holy Ghost, and Lord Huron
🥰Uraraka - I feel like she’d be into indie and pop! Probs k-pop too. Artists: HyunA, 4Minute, Blackpink, Alt-J, Christina Aguilera, Stevie Nicks, and Marina
⚡️Kaminari - I get glam rock vibes tbh but also dance hits of the 2000s/2010s with this man. No inbetween. Artists: Duran Duran, David Bowie, ZZ Top, Jay Sean, Taio Cruz, Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Breathe Carolina, 3OH!3, and The Runaways
🪨Kirishima - I feel like he’d go for anything upbeat and stuff that would make my manly mans hype himself up and feel good! Artists: AJR, The Weeknd, B-52s, Survivor, Young MC, Sean Kingston, and John Cafferty
🎧Jiro - My bestie would be all over the rock, grunge, and alt scene for sure. Probs into some mo music too. Artists: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Clash, Cutting Crew, Thousand Foot Krutch, Ramones, Breton, All Time Low, Sur, Fit For Rivals, and Sleeping Wolf
🦅Tokoyami - Also into alternative, but more darkwave and industrial. Artists: Type O Negative, Portishead, Massive Attack, Widowspeak, Just Mustard, and Ministry
❄️🔥Todoroki - Very traditional Japanese. I feel like he would hardly listen to music with words, but if he did it would be hella chill with deep meaning. Artists: Sia, Modest Mouse, Grateful Dead, M83, and Pip Blom
💥Bakugo - Rock and Metal. Pissy, angry, loud music. His music and him are 100% on the same page at ALL times. Artists: Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM, Lunatic Calm, AC/DC, Disturbed, Green Day, Hollywood Undead, The Exploited, Dope, Orgy, and Quiet Riot
📖Momo - I feel like she’d listen to classical music as well as just lowkey, chill music. Artists: Valerie Broussard, Ann Marr, Mother Mother, Twenty One Pilots, Lana Del Rey, and Lorde
👊Midoriya - Aw smol bb. I feel like he’d have a well rounded taste. Like tbh he’d be down for really anything. I def get 60s vibes from him though. Artists: The Zombies, Van Morrison, Avicii, They Might Be Giants, The Turtles, The Monkees, and Silversun Pickups
🧠Shinso - Ohoho this man. This MAN is DEFINITELY all over the 80s alt scene. I feel like he’d like stuff that sounds happy or even chill, but the lyrics are depressing. Artists: The Birthday Massacre, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Bauhaus, The Smiths, Caravan Palace, Tears For Fears, Oasis, Bronski Beat, Oingo Boingo, Peter Gabriel, and Genesis
🔥Dabi - Another pissy rock alt bitch. I feel like he would also have deeper meaning in his music without meaning to. Artists: Rammstein, Marilyn Manson, Ice Nine Kills, Motionless in White, Deftones, Pantera, Lil Peep, Grandson, A Perfect Circle, Rob Zombie, and Sisters of Mercy
🩸Toga - hard to decide, but I feel like a girly alternative. Also some k-pop too. Artists: Block B, Melanie Martinez, Ke$ha, Spice Girls, Grimes, K.Flay, Insane Clown Posse, Skynd, and Halsey

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the 1969 film ALICE’S RESTAURANT, Adam Arkin, Ginger Baker, The Beatles 1967 “All You Need is Love” single, Coco Chanel, Bill Clinton, songwriter Roger Cook, the daguerreotype (1839), Darius Danesh, John Deacon, Dave Douglas (Reliant K), Eddie Durham, Philo Farnsworth, Rob Fenstermacher, Jonathan Frakes (great to have met you), Ian Gillan, Fumio Hayasaka, Susan Jacks, L.Q. Jones, Margie Joseph, The Knack’s 1979 “My Sharrona” single, Billy J. Kramer, Deana Martin (great to have gigged with you), Diana Muldaur, Luis Muñoz, Spud Murphy, one of my heroes Johnny Nash, Ogden Nash, National Aviation Day (1939), Debra Paget, the 1944 liberation of Paris, Christina Perri, Beat Raaflaub, Eddy Raven, Gene Roddenberry, John Stamos, Jason Starkey, my excellent boss Nate Stevens, Clay Walker, Lee Ann Womack, and singer-songwriter and gospel music provocateur Edwin Hawkins. He challenged prevailing notions about sacred vs. secular and broadened the field for gospel music, bridging it with funk, pop, rock, and soul. Despite challenges to his early career and ministry, he earned many awards and made many well-received records, yet still kept his eyes on God. He’s best known for his recording of “Oh Happy Day, “ an extension of an 18th century hymn. Edwin updated it in 1967 and his worship group played it repeatedly at the Ephesian Church of God in Christ in Berkeley CA. In 1969 Hawkins took the church group and made a small budget recording of it on a custom label, with Dorothy Combs Morrison on co-lead vocals. Their modest production is lo-fi by today’s standards but—lo and behold—the track became a surprise international hit, reaching #4 in the USA, #2 in the UK, Canada, and Ireland, and #1 in France, Germany, and The Netherlands.
Edwin’s version won a Grammy in 1970, has appeared in upwards to 20 movie soundtracks ,and has been covered countless times. It was also included on the RIAA Songs of the Century. George Harrison stated the song was a primary inspiration for “My Sweet Lord.” Here’s our modest take on it, and HB EH—thank you for making a joyful noise.

Hi Rei. I was wondering about your writing process. Do you list the events of your story or just go with the flow? I'm curious 😊
Hi anon!!! 🤗 aww thank you so much, this is the first time someone asked me about this. I'm so touched haha, I can't believe there would be people who are curious about my creative process!!! >//<
Answering below the cut because I talk too much xD
How I organise my ideas:
Usually when I have an idea, I'll jot it down in my phone! I have a note in my phone called 'Levi Brainrot', and inside is a long checklist of fic ideas! All of my ideas are inside, and once I write and post them, I tick them away, so I can keep track of what I've written too.
Ideas for my Happy Birthday Levi event, Stats Professor Levi plans, future fic ideas, self-ship writing ideas, everything I have about Levi are all inside this note!!
How I plan my writings:
For some of my writings, I'll write the idea down in a notebook and plan all the gist and details. That was how I did it for Levi's Valentine! I wrote down on paper the curriculum, timeline of events etc, and I plan out what I want to write and cover in each chapter.
For the rest, usually I'll just type whatever comes to mind either in Google docs, or in a tumblr post itself. Most of the time I plan what I want to write in my head, and when I'm writing, I write whatever I was thinking of earlier! Sometimes I start writing the intro, and then I suddenly jump to another scene, maybe I'll touch a bit on the ending, and then suddenly I'll revisit a plot somewhere in the middle.
I don't have a fixed structure when I write, so I would say my writing usually goes with the flow.
What I listen to when writing:
Generally, I listen to Lo-Fi and gaming OSTs when I write! Lofi Girl and Chilled Taki on Spotify are my favourites, and my favourite gaming OST to listen to when writing is from Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy VIII.
And yes, I do listen to the SNK OSTs when writing too! I listen to a lot of SNK Lo-Fi tracks when writing as well. These are also the songs I listen when I'm studying. The Warhammer Titan's theme and Ashes on The Fire are my anthems xD
I love listening to Japan city pop and J-pop too!!! The music I listen to depends a lot on the content I'm writing. Usually when I'm writing fluff, I'll listen to more upbeat songs, and also love songs. When I'm writing smut, I listen to more sensual songs to get into the mood.
I have a Spotify playlist called 'Levi 💚' and it is full of songs that remind me of Levi, and also a playlist called 'Levi Ackerman 💋 ' which has the sensual songs.
Thank you for this ask anon!!! I'm so glad to share this with you all, and I'm so touched that you are curious about my writing and planning process ^^

Happy 64th Birthday Brian Alexander "B. A." Robertson, born September 12th 1956.
Robertson was born and raised in Glasgow attending the former Allan Glen's School, Glasgow,[and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama. He recorded his first album "Wringing Applause", for Ardent Records in 1973. It enjoyed modest critical acclaim, and a nomination in Down Beat Magazine's year end poll. He made four further albums, but had little commercial success.
During these years, he combined his career as an artist in a writing and production partnership with bassist Herbie Flowers. BA wrote and produced with Herbie, and worked with an eclectic crowd, including Lionel Bart, Joe Brown, Jim Cregan, Ray Cooper, Micky Dolenz, Gillian Gregory, Georg Kajanus, Harry Nilsson, Phil Pickett, Annie Ross, Sandie Shaw, and Chris Spedding.
He made his first television appearance with Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel (1976), played piano on the B side of "Come Up And See Me Make Me Smile".
Before finding fame in his own right B A teamed up with guitarist Terry Britten and wrote over 20 worldwide hits, the pick of them for Cliff Richard, the songs Carrie and Wired for Sound, the latter was nominated Ivor Novello Song of the Year in 1981.
It was around the same time his singing career took off. He enjoyed chart success in Europe, with six hit singles as an artist. The first, "Bang Bang", achieved sales over 1 million, the last Flight 19, in 1982, a #1 in Iceland! This track inspired a ground breaking music video directed by Brian Grant. BA was nominated Ivor Novello Songwriter of the Year 1980, UK Male Vocalist, Daily Mirror Rock & Pop Awards 1980, JVC Scottish Musician of the Year 1982. He recorded with Maggie Bell in 1982, Frida from Abba, 83, and Lulu in 84.
As well as appearing in concert, he also featured on radio and television. Was a frequent guest broadcaster for the BBC, from 1980 to 1985. Hosted his own music series "BA In Music". In 1986 he was commissioned to compose the music for The Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh. He has written more than 30 themes, songs, and scores, for film, television and special events. These include "The Other Side of The World" by Chaka Khan for the motion picture "White Nights", music for one of the UK's longest running talk shows "Wogan", and "We Have A Dream" for Scotland's World Cup Football Squad of 1982.
Throughout the 80's and 90's he continued to write and work in the studio with another diverse group, including Sam Brown, Roger Daltrey, Lonnie Donegan, Dave Edmunds, Bernard Edwards, Peter Frampton, Alan Gorrie, John Jarvis, Maz + Kilgore, Joe Sample, Helena Springs, and Andy Taylor (Duran Duran).
He met Genesis guitarist Mike Rutherford in 1985, and began a second long term writing collaboration. He introduced Paul Carrack to the embryo Mike & The Mechanics. As writer and musician, he featured on six of their studio albums. Wrote their first hit single "Silent Running", Billboard's number 1 Rock Song of 1986, and the international success, "The Living Years". This most celebrated of his lyrics written when his father died twelve weeks before the birth of his son.
At the 1990 Grammy Awards, "The Living Years" had four nominations, including Song of the Year. BA was pipped for the statuettes by good friend Arif Mardin and "The Wind Beneath My Wings". In London, at The Ivor Novellos, 'The Living Years' topped 1991 Grammy winner "Another Day in Paradise" for Best Song.
He was invited to set up offices at The Walt Disney Studio, by Michael Eisner, and Jeffrey Katzenburg. BA moved with his family to Los Angeles. He remained a feature on the lot for over three years. Was Creator, and Producer of Grammy nominated, multi-platinum, music video, "Simply Mad About The Mouse". Artists include Harry Connick Jnr., LL Cool J., Billy Joel, and Bobby McFerrin.
1991 saw "Silent Running" and "The Living Years", awarded "MillionAir" status by BMI, for more than one million broadcast performances in the US. "Silent Running" has now reached almost three million plays, and 'The Living Years' over four.
From 1993 through 1995, he put together, "With Your Hand on My Heart" for Patti LaBelle and Michael Crawford. Michael's album had a double Grammy nomination and world wide sales of more than 2 million. Wrote music for "Baywatch", the world's most popular television show and collaborated on a musical with Burt Bacharach.
He continued to work with Mike & The Mechanics, had six songs in the "Beggar On A Beach of Gold" project including the title song, and another six on their, multi-platinum CD, "Hits". He worked as writer, and musical associate to Phil Ramone on the stage production "EFX”, at the MGM Grand Las Vegas. The opening song "Somewhere in Time”, a collaboration with John Barry.
For the past 20 years or so Robertson has lived in Ireland, continually working on various projects he is still in high demand, Over the years, B A has accumulated more than 70 silver, gold, and platinum record awards. He lives with his wife, designer Karen Manners, they have two adult children.
I've chosen this song because it is my favourite Scottish World goal offering, remember, if you are old enough, four years previously, Andy Cameron proclaimed, We're Going to WIN the world Cup, by the time 1982 came B A Robertson knew that it was a dream. Oh I must add, the last World Cup Scotland was in 1998, and the much more realistic song was by Del Amitri, and calle Don't come home too soon, which as always we did, failing to get beyond the first stages yet again
