Yay! Time to talk about Luna in way too much detail!

1. Luna's red hair streaks aren't just a Hot Topic/Draculaura mashup. They're natural! In my game, magical creatures that are especially powerful have brightly colored hair. It's how the magic is expressed physically. Since Luna's mom was a powerful vampire, she inherited the physical manifestation of that power.

2. Luna is the cousin of my oldest living Sims 3 Sim and favorite Sim of all time, Asher Von Mohr, who I have kept alive through file backups since 2013. She will undoubtedly make an appearance on this blog someday.

3. Before I fully had a backstory for Luna, she was going to be just an adventurer for me to explore WA with. Her name, in fact, is meant to be an off-brand Lara Croft.

4. The dog tags Luna wears belong to her human grandfather, Alvin Cobb. She's rarely seen without them.

5. Luna is an athletic and martial arts master due to her half vampire nature granting her extraordinary physical ability and endurance. Fortunately she doesn't have to drink plasma or burst into flames in the sun, but she does sunburn easier than most Sims and can't enter houses unless invited. She also breaks out in hives around garlic but that could always just be a coincidence, right?

It’s been months since I’ve been to Happy Lemon, but then a new one opened. They took over Ding Tea in Arcadia.

Happy Lemon has some unique tea drinks and they’re known for their salted cheese foam drinks. They claim that they invented salted cheese tea drinks. The drinks fall into several categories: salted cheese, blended whole lemon, freshly squeezed lemon, smoothies, slushies, milk tea, Yakult, and classic brewed tea. Toppings include boba, aloe, fresh grapefruit, fresh mango, crystal boba, puff cream, salted cheese, etc. You can also specify level of sweetness and the preferred amount of ice.

For snacks, they have made to order bubble waffles with dipping sauce.

Blended whole lemon black tea ($6.25 + $1 for fresh grapefruit pieces, 50% sweetness): It’s made with real lemons, so there may be an occasional seed. I really enjoyed this drink – it was like a tangy and tart strong lemonade with black tea. The fresh grapefruit was a excellent choice too. There was a lot of fresh fruit in the drink…lots of texture, very juicy, very flavorful and refreshing.

They were very busy when I visited and there was only one employee. But while I was waiting, another employee appeared. The shop is small but cute. It’s in a strip mall with parking.
