1. it’s my 24th birthday today, so my goal of being published by the time i’m 25 is now a one year looming monster, but i never specified what kind of published and am currently looking in various literary magazines that are recommended for writers who have yet to be published, so i’m surprisingly confident that i can make it work? and tbh even if whatever i write isn’t officially published before my 25th birthday, if i have someone in the process of being published then i’ll be happy!! no matter what though, i’m gonna try to be proud of myself for at least giving it my best shot!!

2. i honestly love that my birthday is on the ides of march because the ides of march meme shitposting is only a thing on tumblr but it also being my birthday makes it easier to like. be excited about the ides of march outside of tumblr. like even in person i can be like “it’s my birthday! i’m an ides of march babe (:” and if someone is like oh what’s that? or if they say something along the lines of oh like julius caesar? i can be like yep!! and even if it’s a small thing outside of tumblr it brings me immense enjoyment and amusement being able to bring it up off of tumblr

3. transportation situation has been very rough since june 2023 when i totalled my car, my gap insurance are being assholes and i ended up putting my foot down on the phone with them yesterday which i’m pretty proud of because i am NOT a confrontational person (something i’ve been working on this past year, so seeing some improvement with my ability to hold my ground and not be a pushover yesterday was very cool!!) i was told i’d get a response from them by friday next week no matter what, and if i don’t then friday of next week i will continue to wreak havoc upon them. but my moms car which i’ve been using since my accident broke down yesterday, hopefully it’s fixable but my parents were saying it might be done for, so trying to think of how i’m gonna get to work next week is kind of stressing me out lmao, but for now i’m just gonna focus on enjoying my birthday the best i can because i don’t want to start off being 24 with an overwhelming anxiety for something that won’t be a potential issue until monday. plus i already messaged my boss today to let her know that i’m going to do everything i can to make it work out but just so she’s in the loop and knows of the potential of me not being able to make my morning shifts (one of my coworkers said she’s more than happy to give me a ride for our afternoon shifts which does help relieve some of the stress!) and i told her i’d let her know for sure sunday so that if necessary she can have time to figure out someone to fill in for me in the mornings!

overall: life is weird and i ended being 23 yesterday with a shitty situation but a positive outlook and i am going to enjoy my first day of being 24 no matter what because honestly i fucking earned it. happy friday everyone, i hope it’s a good day for you and me both!

My favorite character is absolutely Gan who I haven't posted much about yet. He's basically a chaotic wereboy who's hobby is stirring up trouble and pushing people's buttons.

Breakfast at Sunny's is very much an emotional support kinda WIP in that I go to it when I'm feeling burnt out on my more serious projects. I have some writing snippets that I'll post one day if I ever get around to cleaning them up, but for now I'll probably just keep shitposting about my characters.

Heeeellooooo my fellow Diahell residents! I know originally, this was a month (back in 2017? 2018?) but I’ve decided to bring it back! 

If you don’t know me, hi! I’m Corn (not my real name kdasj)! I’m mainly known for my analyses about Laito on this blog. But that’s not the point! I recently hit 500 followers and it’s going to be the first year anniversary of when I started posting, so what better way to celebrate than to just share the appreciation and love we have for Laito?

britcourse/britgate timeline

hi as the (un)official historian of the britgate time heres a timeline of events 

thursday evening - @latinposeidon brings the word poof to people attention pointing out that the show is terrible for british slang. many british fantoms share their own dislike of the name willie and alex’s fanny pack 

when @queenmolina points out how terrible many of the names from the show sound when read in a yorkshire accent the ideas for roadman reggie and yorkshire luke are sparked 

at some point on friday we also discussed zootopia vs zootropolis and australian and new zealand names for various british slang 

the brits go to sleep leaving many frighted americans to deal with britcourse 

friday - when we wake up it to the horrified reactions of the rest of the fandom and the news that prince philip has died 

believing this to be the work of yorkshire luke and roadman reggie we brainstorm further characters for our british jatp - we decided the best course of action was the recrecord all the dialogue in the show in british accents using british slang. 

in spite that prince philip is trending and with a large amount of momentum we further brainstorm a retelling of the show with a british cast of characters as well as general discussions about all things british 

we also confused non-brits with our discussion of tea time 

saturday/sunday- with a larger cast of characters the edits and fanfics begin to take shape leading to the writing of backstories for the characters. 

sunday - please welcome aussiegate (exactly the same premise just make them australian - i can’t tell what any of it means but its funny so please continue) 

the britverse got bigger with a social media au and a britverse sunset curve playlist,  more fics are in the works. 

monday- despite starting off slow it came back with force with discussions of school trips, how the group meet, and school names. posts slowed towards the end of the day (i fear our beloved britgate may be on its last legs)

tuesday - despite a slow beginning britgate remains alive via tags and reblogs, and one of the longest headcanons to date courtesy of @faetalflaw 

wednesday - britgate was back in the form of 3 new fics from @apples-bees @thegirlfulloffandoms @lesducks , meanwhile aussiegate and the newly joined canadagate remain strong. With even more fics expected soon britgate may quiet but we haven’t seen the last of it. 

thursday - new artworks continued and the britgate discord remained chaotic as ever- the britgate team celebrated roadman reggie’s 1 week birthday

It’s hell week for little women

Freshman year: I can’t play Jane Banks because I’m 5’8

Senior year; I can’t audition for Jack Kelly because I’m female.

And I, a female, am NOT allowed to be in love with a member of my own sex.

But in all honesty what the fuck.

I feel guilty for this one but- I’m so tired of being friends with people.

Let me elaborate.

I can’t even sit with one of my friends without being in constant fear that she’s going to talk about how dysphoric she feels or how she wants to $h00+ herself, or how she’s gonna have a panic attack over literally any minor inconvenience. I feel like shit for feeling this way but like it’s all she says to me anymore and I just want my friend back.

I have another friend who is going through depressive episodes and refuses to go to therapy as much as I beg him to, so I’m his only outlet whatsoever. Anytime I don’t give the answer he expects or wants, I get hit with “it’s okay you’re busy I’ll be fine” or “it’s fine just go to sleep then” and he makes constant sooishidal jokes and they just make me feel sick.

I have friends, who aren’t in eachothers’ inner circles, who (as mentioned earlier) are in a constant cycle of “oh I wasn’t invited? Haha that’s fine I’m used to it!!” Or “oh thanks for thinking of me right now and not when you were inviting people!” Or “must be nice to be included haha!”

Sometimes I just want to be alone, but everyone takes offense to it when I don’t sit with them at lunch or in the mornings.

I can’t complain about anything, A N Y T H I N G, without either being berated for complaining, being interrupted and ignored or being derailed by one of them complaining about their own issues.

And I can’t even imagine opening up about what I’m really feeling Bc I WILL scare them all away. I don’t want to talk about it because I know how it feels to have to comfort while having huge loads on your shoulders.

I can’t go to school counselors either without them telling my parents.

So yeee i get to suffer Bc I can’t ask for help.

Why yes, this is a shitpost

((Writing Exercise: Write people as if they were days of the week) That isn’t what I ended up doing, I got way off track but that’s what inspired this)

Sunday- I suppose its all due to personal belief that I would make Tom Hiddleston Sunday. Why you might ask? Simple. Personally, I view Sunday as one of the best days of the week. It’s a not workday, it’s a day that I fully abuse. Sundays I wake up whenever I feel like it. I make myself a cup of my favorite tea and sip it at my leisure. I stay, for the most part in my pj's, and don’t leave the house unless its dire. I make breakfast and eat that painstakingly slow because I can. Then I leave dishes in the sink for the next day knowing that I’ll hate myself for it later, but I do it because I can. I laze around the house, probably reading or taking a nap after only being awake for two hours, maybe watching my husband on tv idk. Treat myself to no end and I’m pulling out all the stops. Hair mask? Yes. Face mask? Duh. Mani-Pedi? You read my mind. Glass of wine? I’ve got a whole bottle. Nice extra scolding hot bath, the burn is phenomenal. Dinner, pasta is what I’ll end up making. Then bed. Yes, it is the best day.

Monday- Despite the universal opinion that Mondays are unequivocally the worst, I don’t mind it. I’m really a bit fond of Monday. Thus, making Monday, Taylor Swift. Listen, anyone who doesn’t like Taylor Swift will undoubtedly disagree with this, but I can’t be arsed to care. She’s a gem and I love her. Monday is the day of opportunity. Monday makes me feel like I can conquer the world. This is the day I feel the most motivated to get my shit together and get shit done. I’m a force to be reckoned with and you cannot tell me otherwise. I can guarantee you that my productivity goes up by a solid 50% on this day. Mondays also make me feel oddly colorful. Not that I’m not a colorful person but it just makes me feel extra bubbly and happy. Idk

Tuesday- Harry Styles. The longest day of the week, in the best way. This day is never-ending, this is another day that I get so much shit done. Then inevitably have nothing left to do because I get up at 7:00 am, do everything that needs to be done, look at the clock and its 7:03 am. So much opportunity, so much to do. Not bad day, just a long one and a nice one if you do it right. Its also a pretty steady day, calm in all the best ways.

Wednesday- I CAN’T EVEN THINK OF SOMEONE TO BE WEDNESDAY! WHY?! BECAUSE I FUCKING HATE WEDNESDAY. IT IS THE WORST DAY EVER, IT’S THE LONGEST AND THE FASTEST DAY EVER IN THE WORST POSSIBLE WAY. YOU WAKE UP SINGLE AND FREE YOU BLINK ITS THIRTY YEARS LATER, YOU'RE PREGNANT WITH YOUR THIRD CHILD, THE BILLS ARE DUE, THE CHILDREN ARE HUNGRY AND ALL YOU’VE GOT IS HALF A GRAPE AND A PIG TOUNGE AND YOU'RE STILL UGLY. I’m sorry.

Thursday- Daniel Radcliffe in that one movie. Listen, as much as I love this man, he looks rough-in ‘Guns of Akimbo’ and i understand that on a spiritual level. Friday gets me feeling like the most cracked-out bum on this earth. If I look rough, I feel even rougher. I probably smell like I was pulled six times backwards through a dumpster and I’m being drUG BY MY WEAVE through a landfill. Living on a prayer, someone else’s backwash cup of coffee, half a crushed Adderall pill that I snorted up my ass, six 5hour energy and a line of cocaine. This isn’t the prettiest day.

Friday- Tom Holland. Look I know that there is already a Tom, but Tom’s are great, so I’ll keep ‘em. Fridays are wonderful because you just get to chill and be as weird and free as possible. Fridays make me feel like I’m walking on sunshine and vibrating with joy. Nothing can bring me down, I’m unnecessarily happy about everything, everyone I run into probably wants to punch me in the mouth and piss in my cheerios. I dunno Fridays make me happy and content, so it’s a good day. Fridays make me feel good.

Saturday- Saturdays are warm and fuzzy and safe. Therefore, I must make them Robert Pattinson. He’s everything to me and I never expected to feel this amount of care for a human being I have never once met. To me, Saturdays are road trips with the one you love. Being able to look over at them and feel like ‘oh shit they are really mine…wild’. It’s knowing without a doubt the one you love loves you just as much and feeling secure. It is having a bad day and going out for ice cream with the person you feel safest with knowing that they’re someone you can be wholly yourself with. It’s the totally cheesy feeling of waking up in the morning after having a bad night and rolling over to see the person who means the whole world to you as the sunlight peeks in through the gaps in the curtain. Idk I’m a sap. This is a happy and content day for me. I don’t know what else to say. It just makes me deliriously happy.

According to my phone’s Podcast app, I listened to my first episode of Critical Role (Curious Beginnings) on August 20, 2018. After catching up with that, I started campaign 1 on September 15. Today, January 9, 2019, 4 months and 20 days after my very first episode and 3 months and 25 days after starting campaign 1, I said goodbye to Vox Machina as I caught up fully.

And guys — it’s been such a journey. One post can’t summarize everything that I’ve felt about these two disaster families, and honestly I’ve written (and will continue to write!) so much about them already. Like thousands of other fans, the Critical Role team has made me cry both tears of laughter and tears of genuine sadness. Every single one of their characters has touched me and has made me think and feel — even those I didn’t like at first. 

But I wanted to talk just a bit about the ways that Critical Role has had a real impact on my life in these past few months.

First, it’s introduced me to a really awesome fandom. This might be the first time ever that I’ve been an active contributing part to a fandom that’s actually getting new content, and I finally understand how special that feels. The fandom is obviously not perfect, but it’s got a lot of amazing people in it. I’ve had so many fandom veterans get excited for me as I watched the show that they’d already seen years ago, just happy to see someone’s reactions to something they love. I’ve shared personal things about my life, and have received support. I’ve asked stupid, obvious questions about the show and gotten responses from strangers in literal minutes because we all hound the tag between Thursdays and I love it. I’ve made shitposts, and for some reason people actually find them funny. 

I want to thank and express love to a few people especially, but they’re not all the people I love in the fandom, so please don’t feel left out! @loose-bits​ was the first (maybe only?) person to respond to my first ever campaign 1 liveblog post and that encouraged me SO much to keep writing and engaging with the fandom. @criticalcaleb​ and I accidentally watched the last 30 episodes of campaign 1 in tandem and that was a really fun experience. I’ve had so much fun swapping theories and freaking out about episodes with @disasterhumans​ @stormstressed​ @aminil​ @jumanjiicostco​ @night-filled-mountain​ @luckthebard​ @sockablock​ and so so so so many others. Thank you to literally everyone who’s reblogged my things or created any content for the show. I’m so happy that I’m getting to know you guys, and look forward to many more Thursdays of liveblogging and Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays of absolutely losing it. 

Second, Critical Role has been there for me through some absolutely chaotic times. In the past four months, I’ve graduated from university, been unemployed and in retrospect pretty horribly depressed, and moved provinces for a new, scary job (away from my girlfriend and almost all my close friends) — among many other important things. Critical Role has been a constant sanctuary among all this chaos. I’ve listened to Critical Role through everything: on my saddest, loneliest nights of mental illness, on the 18-hour bus ride to my new job, on the hour-long walks to and from this job. It’s brightened my spirits when I was sad; it’s given me things to think about when I was bored; it’s taken my mind off all the stressors in my life; it’s given me a sense of community when I was very lonely. More than anything, it’s been the one of the few constant things in my life in the past few months, something that I know will always be there no matter how my life is changing. I’m so grateful for that, too.

The third thing is probably the most personal, but I think it’s the most important: that Critical Role has taught me so many things. I couldn’t list them all here, but the one that stands out most to me is how much it’s made me remember that I don’t need to be perfect to be a good friend and a good person. I was a pretty lonely kid, and there were times in my life when I had no friends — times that really changed me as a person because I was so young at the time. I came to believe that if I was just a “good enough” friend, people could maybe like me, and that unless I did certain things, I couldn’t be worthy of friendship and love. While my friends have often proved this wrong for me, Critical Role has been a really meaningful reminder that this isn’t true. All of Vox Machina and the Mighty Nein are flawed people with more issues than can fit in a bag of holding, but that doesn’t preclude them from the wonderful friendships that they formed — the friendships that I’ve cheered and cried for so hard. And the cast has been pretty open about how they, too, are flawed people with complex lives, and yet, they come together to make magic happen every week. And as trivial as the “power of friendship” sounds, being able to see that story told so powerfully has had a huge effect on me. 

This is WAY too long, so I’m going to end it now, but I’m just so grateful for Critical Role, and for the community, and for the impact all of these have had on my life. Thank you, everyone.

10 Ways the Mainstream Media Is Losing The War on Memes #FakeNews

To satirize the powerful has ever been the tool of the downtrodden and the rebellious.

From Aristophanes through to 4Chan, the question is asked; when everyone has the potential to become a political weapon, how will the powerful maintain control?

Governments and businesses can try to harness the power of memes, but no agency has the near unlimited resources of the masses. Saul Alinsky correctly identified that the primary asset he had available when organizing mass movements was people with no money and a lot of time. The inverse is true of the gatekeepers of power, and as true today as it was in 1970 when Alinsky wrote Rules for Radicals.

By way of introduction, I ask: In the Age of Memes, who rules the world if not the holders of the memes of production?

10 In the Age of Memes, the Internet is King

Way back in the day, the motto of 4Chan was ‘none of us are as cruel as all of us.’ Now we can consider the 4Chan takeover of normal web space to be complete. President Trump tweeted a meme mocking CNN. In hubris and narcissism, the 17th most popular network in America decided to track down the creator and threaten to doxx him- the releasing of personal details. The interesting thing to take away is that the same millennial journalists who used the internet to reveal hypocrisy in politics are now victims of people using the internet to reveal hypocrisy in the media. Again: CNN decided to throw the weight of their organization against a private citizen- and lost.

Let that sink in. Even young, internet savvy former Buzzfeed journalists are apparently incapable of understanding that the balance of power between social media and mainstream media has swung in an unexpected direction. The audience has become the arbiters of truth in an alternative fact world. And so, we watch as a multibillion-dollar media empire is tarred and feathered by no more fierce a foe than internet kids armed with pirated copies of Photoshop.

9 You can never punch down

The reason why Donald Trump has been so successful in his use of memes is his strict adherence to individualism as a virtue. Even as President, head of the biggest company of all, USA Inc., Trump wages meme jihad against the mainstream media who he tars as Fake News. How does the most powerful man on the planet pull this off? Surely, his detractors should annihilate him in noble memetic combat, as satirists have always done.

Enter populism. On a platform where Trump has allied himself with the working class American, and gone out of his way to attack the media on the grounds that they lie to the working class American, The Donald has inoculated himself against memes. The left can meme The Donald, but the memes are not effective, coming as they are from the ranks of political correctness and social control. You cannot punch down, even to Trump. It looks like bullying when you meme the president, and like a scrappy underdog taking shots at the establishment when Trump tweeted ‘Corrupt Hillary’ memes during the election.

8 Memers have become an oppressed minority. #FreeKekistan

In the age of memes, social justice advocates tell people that it is bad to be white, straight, to not be a feminist, to not support Black Lives Matter. In response, the meme brigade discovered Kekistan. Kekistan, a nation of shitposters and internet nerds follow their deity ‘Kek’ and their High Prophet, the alleged racist frog known as Pepe. As the story goes, many Kekistanis just wish to return home to farm their memes but are stuck in the Oppressive West. Just like you. The rules of the game have been set by the progressives- and the internet kids are happy to play by those rules. Did you spot the irony? The meme-warriors now troll Social Justice Warriors with the logic of social justice. Oh, you’re an oppressed minority? So are we.

Aside from the juvenile catchphrases and silliness, the post-modern nationality of Kekistani has its roots in arch-liberal LSD counter-culture. The Merry Pranksters, Discordianism and Timothy Leary all played with identity against the backdrop of authoritarian social conservatism. Now, in the new age of social justice authoritarianism, Kekistan is culture jamming on a global scale. Kek be praised, chaos magick is real and you can elect presidents by ejaculating on frog totems.

7 The Tao of Meme-Fu

There is a quote from Enter the Dragon, where Bruce Lee talks about his fighting technique. He says, “you can call it fighting, without fighting.” The great combatant could never know that he developed not only an ultimate fighting style in Jeet Kune Do, but also illustrated perfectly how to handle Memetic Warfare in the 21st Century.

As Sun Tzu also wrote extensively on in the Art of War, when there is nothing to be gained, a battle will only sap your strength and resources. When your opponent looks strong, it is better to retreat and wait. These basic rules are understood by almost nobody. For example, When CNN is attacked with funny memes, the wise leader would shrug their collective shoulders and ignore it, no matter how annoying the attack really is. The fool tries to silence the meme creator and claims the President of the United States is inciting violence against Journalists. The sword cuts both ways- are you a public figure attacked by feminists over thoughtcrime? Do nothing. You must do nothing. As soon as the first cry of indignation is sounded, the feeding frenzy begins.

6 #GamerGate never ended, the targets just got bigger.

When the corruption among so-called games journalists was exposed, they doubled down in the face of criticism. A slew of articles branding gamers as whiny man-babies who abused women online did little but to deepen the lines between consumers on one side, and media on the other. The same tactic, most recently deployed by the mainstream media on people critical of them online, will perform the same role on a much larger scale. As CNN goes after people who edit images for laughs, we see the same arrogance come to the surface.

As with GamerGate, the media sees itself not as a service, reporting the facts of the day. Instead, the media is the gatekeeper of knowledge and the punisher of social indiscretion. If you are guilty of wrongthink, you will find yourself opposed to organizations with huge resources aimed at tracking you down and bringing you to heel.

Just like Gamergate, the media fails to understand that this is a war they cannot and will not win.

5 The Media Doesn’t Learn

Individuals are smart. Individuals are intelligent. You know what we say about the mob. The media is a mob and has been for some time. According to recent polls, fewer people trust the media in the USA than trust Congress. Even the elections process, which for some reason many people still believe has been corrupted by Russian agents, is more trustworthy than the media outlets that have promoted the idea that the elections process was corrupted by Russian agents.

Let that sink in, also.

Another entity, be it corporate, social or political, would recognize the PR disaster for what it is- a damning indictment of the performance of that entity. The media are arrogant enough to believe that they are somehow immune to public opinion, that as the fact-makers, they can shape reality to their whim. This is why the legacy media is doomed. Right Side News and sites like us are the future of media. We are all journalists now.

4 The Media Thinks Everyone Else Is Fake News

In the age of social news, being that most of us hear about events through social media, the legacy media outlets have both capitalized on and been victims of the #FakeNews narrative. As illustrated by a recent article in Salon,

“Just as the distinction between National Enquirer-type fake news and actual news has blurred for many citizens, there is increasing evidence that social media rants are playing a larger and larger role in creating the “information” that shapes public perceptions.”

The title of the article is ‘Forget fake news — alt-right memes could do more damage to democracy’. Not only does this elucidate for us the delusion of the media bubble, it is laughably inept in attempting to manipulate the course of events. To the media, spreading inaccurate stories and deliberately lying to the citizens is less of a problem than funny pictures. Reality is satirical, and we are all the butt of a cosmic joke.

3 The Media Cannot Meet Their Own Standards

Reading again from Alinsky’s ‘Rules for Radicals’, he comments the following on the subject of tactics.

“Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules. You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.”

Alinsky was in particular concerned with the moralizing of the Christian Right in the 1960s and 1970s, as it was through churches in Chicago that he operated. The media of today, with their lies about heroic journalists, edited tapes to suit narrative and general hypocrisy are an excellent modern fit for the same tactics to lay them low- and that is what we are seeing occur.

When the media decries Donald Trump for inciting violence against journalists by posting memes, it is met with derision online, and a re-doubling in the production of mocking memes. The fires of meme production glow hot with the sanctimony of the powerful, just as we mock the hypocrite priests who lecture on obedience and goodness on a Sunday and indulge vices on a Monday. The media tells us that the President is inciting violence and then threatens to dox a private citizen- which would leave that individual open to partisan retaliation. This is hypocrisy of the lowest order.

2 Doxxing is Now Journalism

Now that the media has explicitly given the OK for doxxing of private citizens to occur under the purview of journalistic integrity, the remit for what is and what is not in the public interest has just been blown wide open. In a damage control piece in Wired, it is claimed that

“Reporters announce their intentions and their profession openly, while dox-ers could be anybody. Reporters include only personal information that is relevant to a story — facts the public has a compelling interest in knowing.”

This is clearly old-school thinking for a new-school age, as the article cited also tries to tie the victims of doxxing by journalists to white supremacy. When individuals make the news, this is in the public interest. When individuals make memes anonymously, this is now also in the public interest according to the media. The standard for journalistic integrity, never the highest bar of ethics, has been set to the lowest possible register.

Followers of YouTube drama will notice parallels with the recent Skepto-sphere foolishness in which a German YouTuber by the name of Kraut and Tea created a Discord server with other content creators, scientists and even a New York Times journalist, with the aim of defeating the Alt-Right race realists Alternative Hypothesis and JF Gariepy.

The Skeptics dubbed themselves holders of the cup of virtue, and believed this was enough to prevail- even using the alleged evil of their opponents to justify doxxing and hypocritically deploying intellectual dishonesty of the lowest order. Hubris fells the highest kings. Once exposed, Kraut and Tea deleted every video from his channel (with over 100,000 subscribers, no less) and quit making videos.

1 Journalists are Dead

Back in 2014, there was a collusion of corrupt gaming journalists who collaborated through the GameJournoPros mailing list to push a narrative of victimized developers by sexist, racist troll gamers. Perhaps you read the articles, perhaps you agree that gamers are misogynists. It doesn’t really matter your opinion on the events of GamerGate, the same machinations are happening right now- on a macro scale. The Meme War is bigger than games because it is a war for the truth across all genres. From movies to sport to video games to politics and current affairs- the media organizations report on them all.

Regardless of political allegiance, politics works through collaboration and overcoming differences. The media are engaged in a concerted effort to splinter and polarize the left and right, in a vain attempt to cling to relevancy.

If you are opposed to the liberal agenda, you will be tarred as Alt-Right, which is essentially being branded as a racist. Or, you will be called a racist, for disagreeing with a media narrative about Black Lives Matter, or a sexist for not approving of Hillary Clinton’s politics. The Deep State is bigger than that claimed by Donald Trump- the Fourth Estate is not just the media, it is a school of ideological programming that believes that you are stupid, that you will believe whatever you see on TV.

Now that we are all journalists, who needs journalists?

There are people today who connect GamerGate directly to the election of Donald Trump. That's obviously silly, you can't just meme a God Emperor into existence, you know.
