hi! last year i'm not really updating on the fandom and i can't seem to find this on your blog. what's with the louis and harry and italy? they seem to be spotted there a lot and i think harry also have a house there or smth? is there something special about italy? sorry if you already explained it before.

Hi, dear. Yeah, it seems like they love Italy and don't like to waste any opportunities to be there together. I think this may have started in May 2019 when Harry went to Rome for Gucci and on the same day Louis showed up with Eleanor in Portofino for a pap walk and literally no other reason to be there.

It was so out of nowhere and such a big coincidence that even tabloids picked up and made crazy rumours about a 1D reunion. Pretty sure there is also a receipt from this time.

Harry went to Italy a lot of times, even during the pandemic, he they definitely has a house there. In June 2021 , when Harry finished shooting My Policeman in Venice (IIRC their last scenes were there) he stayed a few more weeks, precisely when Louis was MIA, which lead people to believe Louis also joined him and they spent a little time there together. Louis, of course, showed up with a beautiful tan and an Italian hat a few days later:

In September 2022, Harry went to Venice for the premiere of DWD the very same week Louis was there doing promo for the release of FITF. They were both incredibly busy at the time, so desperate times call for desperate measures, I guess. All the blue and green is just a plus. The following week they were both also in NYC (twice in the same week, yes), they had shows on the same night. So they obviously planned things around this and went from Italy to NYC together. The timeline is great

And lastly, Harry will be done with LOT 2023 in July, in Italy. Louis will bring AFHF to Italy just a few weeks after that and he's not back on tour within a couple more weeks. Since they're both on tour they're probably going to spend a while away from each other and already planned their little annual Italian vacation. So I will not be surprised if one of them is completely MIA during this time while the other is in Italy.

THUNDERBALL 1965

Thunderball is a 1965 spy film and the fourth in the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions, starring Sean Connery as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. It is an adaptation of the 1961 novel of the same name by Ian Fleming, which in turn was based on an original screenplay by Jack Whittingham devised from a story conceived by Kevin McClory, Whittingham, and Fleming. It was the third and final Bond film to be directed by Terence Young, with its screenplay by Richard Maibaum and John Hopkins.

The film follows Bond's mission to find two NATO atomic bombs stolen by SPECTRE, which holds the world ransom to the tune of £100 million in diamonds under threat of destroying an unspecified metropolis in either the United Kingdom or the United States (later revealed to be Miami). The search leads Bond to the Bahamas, where he encounters Emilio Largo, the card-playing, eyepatch-wearing SPECTRE Number Two. Backed by CIA agent Felix Leiter and Largo's mistress, Domino Derval, Bond's search culminates in an underwater battle with Largo's henchmen. The film's complex production comprised four different units, and about a quarter of the film comprises underwater scenes. Thunderball was the first Bond film shot in widescreen Panavision and the first to have a running time of over two hours.

Although planned by Bond film series producers Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman as the first entry in the franchise, Thunderball was associated with a legal dispute in 1961 when former Fleming collaborators McClory and Whittingham sued him shortly after the 1961 publication of the novel, claiming he based it upon the screenplay the trio had written for a cinematic translation of James Bond. The lawsuit was settled out of court and Broccoli and Saltzman, fearing a rival McClory film, allowed him to retain certain screen rights to the novel's plot and characters, and for McClory to receive sole producer credit on this film; Broccoli and Saltzman instead served as executive producers.

The film was exceptionally successful: its worldwide box-office receipts of $141.2 million (equivalent to $1,365,200,000 in 2023) exceeded not only that of each of its predecessors but that of every one of the next five Bond films that followed it. Thunderball remains the most financially successful film of the series in North America when adjusted for ticket price inflation. In 1966, John Stears won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects and BAFTA nominated production designer Ken Adam for an award. Some critics and viewers praised the film and branded it a welcome addition to the series, while others found the aquatic action repetitious. The movie was followed by 1967's You Only Live Twice. In 1983, Warner Bros. released a second film adaptation of the Thunderball novel under the title Never Say Never Again, with McClory as executive producer.

Taylor wrote Gorgeous, Delicate and Did Something Bad around the same time (see Making of Video), there were all recorded in September but refer to earlier events. In the 29 April 2023 Eras show Taylor added High Infidelity to this story which refers to 29 April.

March 15 - Taylor and Calvin have heavily photographed beach holiday. She repeats this move in 2018 with Joe.

April 29 - Taylor refers to an affair on this date in High Infidelity. as HS and TS were both in LA on that date. Taylor and Kendall were at Gigi Hadid's birthday the night before. Harry's Kiwi music video also includes a kid dressed like Taylor on that night.

May 2 - the met gala was the key date while she was with Joe. On midnights she changed it to 29 April. CH and TS were barely seen together in 2016 and this seems it was over in April. Harry left to shoot Dunkirk. Taylor wrote and recorded IDWLF

29 April 2017 - Our boy celebrated the anniversary of this particular secret rendezvous by getting papped 3 times in the same shirt. They also released Me! and the HH tracklisting on that date.

Rattata sound

The Rattata sound at the end of I did something bad is also suspiciously similar to a Rakaka sound in a leaked Harry Styles song. In Harry's song, he has a secret rendezvous with an ex who phones him unexpectedly and he picks up on the way home.

This raises a question on the timing of the events of Pick You Up and Did Something Bad, PYU refers to his sister’s birthday which is in December, they were at the VS show 3 December 2014, the songs may be about different days. Taylor was in Australia on Gemma’s birthday 2015. Now we don’t talk seems like they weren’t talking in January.

Breadcrumbs and Receipts - Meghan tells on herself about the coronation

TL;DR -- The Sussexes haven’t been officially invited yet but have learned their invitation comes with strings attached that they (but especially Meghan) don’t like, given a recent onslaught of Sussex PR tantrums. I believe this indirectly confirms someone at Buckingham Palace has put steps in place to prevent the Sussexes from going rogue at the coronation like they did at the Platinum Jubilee’s service of thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Disclaimer: At the end of the day, all that will matter is what Charles wants. And Charles is notorious for promising one thing to the public and then doing the reverse.

On March 1, 2023, Buckingham Palace announced that the Sussexes’ lease on Frogmore Cottage will be terminated in June 2023. Omid Scobie spins this as “[b]arred from access to police security, there’s just one space that meets the Sussexes’ security needs when visiting the UK” and calls this a “cruel eviction.”

On March 4, 2023, Meghan’s PR begins to manifest an apartment in Buckingham Palace for the Sussexes.

On March 5, 2023, Scobie wrote for Harper’s Bazaar that “the couple have ‘recently received’ email correspondence from the monarch’s Buckingham Palace household regarding the [coronation].” He further goes on to say that details will be kept “private” and “a royal aide briefed Britain’s Times of London on Saturday that an invitation had been sent out.”

On March 8, 2023, the Sussexes announced that they were claiming Prince and Princess titles for Archie and Lili in a press release sent to People Magazine announcing Lili’s christening. 

On March 9, 2023, Marie Claire (a Sussex-friendly publication) publishes this article, citing the demands for the Sussexes to attend the coronation: 1) official recognition of Archie’s birthday, 2) staying at Frogmore Cottage, 3) balcony appearance, and 4) private security details.

What’s really happened here? The Sussexes haven’t been invited to the coronation. Not yet.

First, the coronation is an official state ceremony (though ”state” seems to be debatable these days). This means that the official invitation would not be issued by email. Save-the-dates, additional details, protocol requirements, travel arrangements, confirmations -- that would be issued by email. Not invitations. Invitations would still be issued in the traditional manner, on paper through the mail (overnight priority express mail, most likely).

Second, no one else has confirmed receipt of invitations. Only the Sussexes. If you look back to royal weddings and even The Queen’s funeral, people were announcing their invitations the moment they arrived. That’s not happening now. The official invitations probably still haven’t gone out but everyone who’s going probably already knows they’re going because they’ve also received correspondence from Buckingham Palace about the event. 

Third, why are the Sussexes demanding to stay at Frogmore Cottage when they still hold the lease through June? Scobie (and all of the American Sussex-friendly publications but none of the major British publications) claims that Eugenie now lives at Frogmore Cottage. Why does Eugenie living at Frogmore Cottage preclude Harry and his family from staying with her? Surely the cousins can work it out between themselves, especially if Harry is the tenant through June. So technically Eugenie is staying with the Sussexes, which means that the only person Harry and Meghan need to make demands of is Eugenie. Not Buckingham Palace.

This means there’s something greater at play here. The palace’s “correspondence” at the beginning of the month probably wasn’t the invitation. It was probably instructions that included their lodging or accommodations in London should they attend the coronation. And given the tantrums that have happened since then -- leaking of the “cruel eviction,” implying an invitation, claiming Prince/Princess titles, and the Marie Claire demands -- Harry and Meghan were probably told that they could not stay in Windsor and that alternative arrangements in London were being made for them, probably a hotel or guest rooms at St. James’s Palace (where most everyone who lived at Buckingham moved to for the refurbishment).

Why would Charles do that? Well, because of the fiasco at the Platinum Jubilee.

For the jubilee, the Sussexes stayed at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, which is about 45 minutes away from central London. For the service of thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Harry and Meghan were meant to meet with the rest of the extended royal family at Buckingham Palace and take the motorcoach over to the cathedral. They were late, missed the motorcoach, and had security take them directly to the cathedral, which led to Harry and Meghan getting virtually their own procession for the service and ultimately resulted in a late start to the service as then William, Catherine, Charles, and Camilla’s arrival was also delayed.

To put it simply: I think we’re seeing indirect confirmation that Charles is forcing the Sussexes to be more “team players” this time around. Meaning, no private, exclusive motorcade to Westminster Abbey for the coronation - they’re getting lumped in with everyone else like they were at The Queen’s funeral. Whether it’s by carriage, car, or motorcoach, they’re going to be “one of the many” rather than “one of the few.” I think we will see a procession for The King and Queen, a procession for The Prince and Princess of Wales that includes the other working members of the family, and a third procession of the remaining family members. Maybe Harry and Meghan can lead the pack, but I think there will be some kind of visible exclusion of the Sussexes separating them from William and Catherine. Especially since Meghan is still trying to negotiate the terms of their attendance at the coronation through her PR.

I mean what’s up is probably hilarious and tied to Larry depending on how you want to look at everything and the angles you come at it.

The first thing is that Louis and Cal knew each other during 1D and Cal was thanked for the 1D footage, so if nothing else of course Louis has some relationship with Cal professionally.

Then you take into consideration Cal and his family was the family Louis sent Freddie off with at the end of the LA show section. This means that Louis likes and trusts Cal enough to watch his “son” (or no quotes if you think Freddie’s actually his son) and that’s where it starts to get funny because Cal’s son Jackson (also a kid holding a signed for Louis) is also Harry’s godson Jackson. The one he got the tattoo for.

So now we’re at the Larry conundrum we always come to because Harry and Louis have been together since 2010 and have a very interwoven world. Harry is Jackson’s godfather. In a world where Harry gets a tattoo of his name we can assume that means they have some sort of close relationship. In theory this means Harry and Jackson (and Cal) hang out frequently regardless of what we see. Louis has a “son” the same age as Jackson. Freddie either has a close relationship with Jackson or not - but by the film and what we’ve seen… they definitely are trying to imply Freddie is friends with Jackson. So Jackson is close with Louis. And so Jackson, Louis (and Cal and in theory Freddie) also hang out with some frequency.

Now you have to ask yourself: do Harry/Louis/Cal/Jackson/Freddie hang out time overlap? The most simplistic answer is “possibly”. We’ve seen times Harry and Louis have been in LA at the same time. And as you mentioned, Louis visiting Wisconsin. So there’s a good chance they’d cross paths just by being in the same family/friend circle.

So if they do occasionally see each other why does part of fandom still pretend Harry and Louis hate each other? Going one step further if you’re someone who doesn’t believe Freddie is Louis’ son you then ask yourself: “why would Louis be hanging out with Cal and his son by himself? Is he just that close? That makes sense.” And again. Jackson’s godfather - who has Jackson’s name tattooed on him (this is really the piece of evidence I’m using as a measure for how close they might be because generally you don’t do this???) - also is close to the family

In conclusion:

Harry is Jackson’s godfather and has a tattoo of Jackson’s name

Jackson was at the LA show with signs, being linked closely with Louis

By the transitive power of interwoven close friends, HL are at the very least still amicable and connected and at most, both Jackson’s godfather 🥰 Larry is real 2023 etc etc (this line is a joke… mostly)

And within days of the anniversary of Diana's passing seemed strange. Enty says Harry didn’t have a great time at the concert and Meghan went a second time anyway. Enty says Meghan had to have known what as expected of her when she joined the family. Kinsey spoke to someone who heard Meghan say she was going to limit Harry’s polo playing. Seems like Meghan controls Harry and it seems like they were planning their way out from the beginning. They weren’t really committed to Royal Lifestyle. They met with Oprah 6 months after the wedding and began planning an interview. Enty noted Harry seemed happy playing polo with Nacho. Wonders when Harry is going to realize he is “rudderless.” WME is the biggest agency and not much has happened for Meghan. It feels like everything they are doing is pointless. The next two months are going to be interesting. The crown season 6 is going to see Harry wearing a Nazi costume. What will they do to drown this out?Where do they go now? They can only be the victim so much. Has 2023 been a bad year? Enty says Omid Scobie book will be a sequel to Spare because it will say the Royal Family is awful. They have to have plans for 2024. I love that Camilla is like "Okay here you go - here's everything I know." She's the one who broke the story about Meghan making Kate cry, and she's now saying "It was Meghan herself who acknowledged that Kate left in tears."

I'm not gonna lie, Louis referring to his queer fans or the fact the he has them as "weird" would be pretty disheartening. one thing was to do that in 2014 around the great gay war, with so many indicators that they were actively fighting. another is to do this now, in 2023. and even a straight artist not for one second to consider his lyrics could resonate with queer fans regardless of larry would be a bit shitty. I'm just saying that whatever he says is gonna be VERY hard to believe he was forced to. And if he openly shits on Harry it's safe to say his career - as the chance of 1D ever reunite even for a quick photo - is over.

well I absolutely agree that he will not have been 'forced' to say anything that he says in this movie. And I hear where you are coming from, but I just think the catastrophizing is unnecessary. First of all, we have ONE (1) almost certainly made up and definitely purposefully shit stirring anon (and a slow news day) to thank for all this discourse, we have no idea yet what will be in the movie, and it is always weird to me that people are so ready to believe the worst when I, personally, feel like Louis always comes through for me and gives me the BEST. I can completely imagine a scenario in which Louis says he thinks it's weird that so many queers feel inspired by him and it makes me want to hug him forever- because I think he does find it weird and remarkable. It makes me think of that one 1D days receipt where someone said they met him on the street and told him he inspired them as a gay and he was like "I don't see how with the way things are but that means a lot." I think that was probably made up, but also it rings true to me, I feel like he does find it wild that with the public face of everything we still are here and love him so much and see what we do in him and think he's brave. As for the Harry thing, anything he says about him will be taken wrong and distorted and picked on by everyone, if he says anything at all less than "he's my husband and has never done anything wrong in his entire life he is perfect" people will say he's "shitting on Harry"; but that said, Louis is an intelligent media trained person, why are people seriously debating whether he's gonna get on screen and talk shit about Harry Styles?! also literally when in Louis' entire life has he ever said one single bad thing about Harry come on It's not fucking realistic and that alone should tell you that that anon either made all that up or it's just a really bad interpretation of whatever was actually said because the person, like everyone else around here, was so busy expecting the worst that they couldn't just chill and listen to Louis. Like, worst case scenario, let's say he does say that Harry was being offered some really incredible opportunities and he wanted to take them and Louis hadn't really thought about what he would do after the band and so when that happened he felt blindsided and adrift by suddenly not having his ever waking moment scheduled and accounted for (as Liam has also talked about experiencing), would that be so horrible??? That sounds like real life stuff and I don't personally think anyone is the bad guy there or it's horrible to say, but also I BET HE DOESN'T SAY THAT. IDK man, I just think we should all calm down and wait and see, but I'm REALLY not worried that the bombshell of this movie will be Louis coming out as being against Harry or talking shit about his fans, you know?! Hey Gina.. i was going through your tags and wow there are so many things that happened.. no wonder people who’ve been here for long strongly believe in larry..

My question is most of the receipts or ppl casually talking about larry is not seen in 2022 or 2023.. i mean harry being more popular now and working with many more ppl, it should’ve been spoken about more.. by that mention louis more but I don’t find them mci for past 2 years🙆🏻‍♀️

I think there are fewer and fewer receipts as Harry and Louis have gotten older. IMO, that has to do with the two of them being more mature about their relationship, their priorities changing, and the them no longer needing or wanting everyone to know about their relationship. I also think this has meant they’ve really become more careful about who knows their business and how they spend their time together.

So, yes, they may be working with a wider range of people, but I don’t think they’re running around making out with each other in broom closets like they used to. And while they may not have cared who saw them together back in the day, there’s a lot more at stake these days so they play the game closer to the vest. That’s part of the reason I think these receipts of Louis being on the DWD set or Harry standing in front of the tour bus in front of Louis’ fans are absolutely ludicrous.
