3d Printed Micro Shrine

Here’s my micro shrine project that I printed with Hatchbox Wood PLA and adorned with red oak veneer.

It houses a #52toys Lucky Cat figurine and has moving doors. I based this project off the miniature Japanese shinto shrines and Chinese roadside shrines.

Making Terra’s Wooden keyblade from kingdom hearts birth by sleep. I made the model in zbrush then 3d printed it out of a wood filament. All that’s left to do is sand it and stain it, then do the wrappings.

Setting up to print with ABS filament on my CR-10S 3d-printer. This is just before my 3rd attempt. Having trouble with bed adhesion at first. Now using PEI plastic on glass with ABS slurry. So far so good!

The neon is from Hatchbox (my favorite fat and above others. Sometimes it costs more, but you definitely get what you pay for).

The pink is from Filacube, with high reviews. It prints lovely and i dig the pink!

Loki is finally his rightful gold! They don't make gold chrome paint, so I had to lay down a few layers of candy paints over the silver chrome. It dulled the shine a little, but he still looks dang good in the sunlight.
