Recent Designs in Domestic Architecture

In the series of illustrations given on this and the four following pages, we reproduce examples of the work of Professor Josef Olbrich, for permission to do which we owe thanks to Messrs. A. Wasmuth & Co., of Berlin.

The "Princesshäuschen", or cottage, was erected in honour of the young princess Elisabeth of Hesse-Darmstadt, a niece of the Emperor of Russia, but since her lamented death at St. Petersburg it has remained untenanted. The illustrations give a good view of the front and side elevations.

Idk how many of you know this but there are two Raggedy Ann Mandela effects.

The first one is that Raggedy Ann often wore pigtails:

You may have seen some handmade dolls with that hairstyle but even then, Raggedy Ann almost never wore pigtails. For proof I looked it up, hardly any. This may have to do with the fact that Raggedy Ann Halloween wigs had her hair like that.

The second is that Raggedy Ann had freckles:

She never had them.

BUT! There is one offcially license doll that does have both of these features

That doll being the Lil Raggedy Ann doll from Aurora.

haus am see is just the collective german 2009 experience..... being 6 years old and having trouble pronouncing "orangenbaumblätter" and saying oronge instead of orange while walking up and down a staircase bc something was up with child me..... good times

TRUE tho for me it was getting into various fights with my brother over wether he sings 'Orangenbaumblätter' or 'orangebraune Blätter'
