Tumblr media
You and your twin sister Hope are the daughters of Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall You two are love by everyone and your family are really overprotective of the both of you
Since Hope and You are twins your parents would always dress Hope and you up with matching clothing You both still do it
"Mom and dad, can we go outside?" Hope asked
"Yes but stay closer to the house." Your mother tells the both of you
You walked over to hug your mom and your dad who quickly hugged you back "what was that love?" Your father asks with a smile
You smiled back "I don't know, I just wanted to hug you both." Your father kissed your cheek "I love you so much."
You smile again, " I love you too dad." You were about to walk off but your mother grabbed your arm kindly "honey I love you so much."
You smile once again "I love you too mom."
Hope and you walked down the stairs "mom and dad were being weird."
"Sister, what do you mean?" You asked
"I don't know but how they told you that they love you sounds like something is going to happen." Hope answers worry
"Don't worry nothing is going to happen because mom and dad won't let it happen." You tell her with a smile
Hope smiles back "your right I shouldn't worry nothing is going to happen." Hope notices that neither of you bought water for the painting "I'll be right back. I just noticed we forgot to bring some water for the painting."
Before Hope left she gave you a hug "you give dad and mom a hug not me." Hope tells you before running back to the house
"Hey little one." a unknown person smiles
"Hi." You smiled
"I have two big dolls that I want to give to."
"I want it"!! you excitedly got out of the bench
"You see my sister over there." He points to his fake sister that has two big dolls in her hands. You nodded "walk to her and she'll give you the two dolls."
you ran to her as she was smiling at you "Hey want these two dolls."
"Yes, one for me, and the other for my sister." Before you could take the dolls you were picked by the woman. She covered your mouth so you weren't scream you struggled trying to get out of her grip. "If I were you I would stop." she said as tears fall down from your cheeks
Hope walked down the stairs smiling as she had a plate of cookies in her hand "mom barked us cookies and i brought cupcakes since she wanted to join us." But you didn't respond making Hope worry she looked around to find you but no sign of you "Come on Y/n you know mom and dad don't like it when we're away from the house."
"Where's your sister?" Your mother asked noticing you were gone
"I don't know where she is. When I came back she was gone." Hope tells her
"What do you mean gone? Are you guys not playing hide and seek?" Your mother asked worry
Hope shakes her head and she watches as Hayley runs back to the house
"Hayley what's wrong?" Klaus worry noticing Hayley was about to have a breakdown
"Our daughter is gone, someone took Y/n." Hayley tells Klaus in tears
"This has to be a joke Y/n's not gone She's with Hope." Klaus tries to calm himself down
Hayley shakes her head "I'm being serious, someone took our daughter."
"What are we waiting for? Let's go find her." Klaus quickly run out of the door with Hayley following behind
"Hope stay with your aunts and uncles." Hayley tells her
"But mom, I want to go with you guys to find my sister." Hope tells her back
"I know love but we need you to be safe, don't worry we're going to bring Y/n safe."
Klaus and Hayley went to all the places in New Orleans to look for you but no sign of you so they decided to go home and to see if Freya could track you down
"Where's my sister?" Hope asked unhappy noticing you were not here
"I'm sorry Hope we try finding her but we couldn't." Klaus says as tears were falling down from his cheek "we looked everywhere but no sign of her."
"It's my fault I shouldn't have let Y/n and hope go outside by themselves." Hayley says
"Hayley it's not yours or Niklaus fault this wasn't supposed to happen but sadly there's a lot of evil people in this world." Rebekah tells Hayley
"It's their fault Rebekah." Esther says mad
"Mother, what are you saying?" Elijah asked
"They're the reason why Y/n's missing. If one of them would have been with them this wouldn't have happened." Esther tells them
"Mother, how could you say that?" Rebekah asked disgust
"Well Rebekah it's the truth, they don't know how to be parents." Esther crossed her arms
"don't compare us to Mikael and you." Klaus tells Esther
"We're not talking about Mikael and me, we're talking about how bad parents you two are." Esther barks
"Mother enough of this I know it's our fault but don't compare when you haven't been a good parent." Klaus barks back
You woke up in a dark room you got up from the bed and went to the door but it was locked and you heard some voices
"Janson, she's too young to go up there." Lucy says
Janson raised an eyebrow "really cause you didn't mind sending them out there at a young age.”
"I know but she's different."
"Different? What's different about her?"
"Everything she's a special one if she stays here and the more she does she'll become one of us."
Janson smirks "I like where you're going."
Lucy smirks "so she stays?"
Janson smirks again "you have my approval."
Lucy smiles "you won't regret it, I know she'll become the best creator ever in the future."
"Hopefully not because I don't want it to happen again. I wouldn't want to send her out just like we did to those two people." Janson says as he gets closer to Lucy ear "if that would to happen I'll make you pay."
Lucy cleared her throat "trust me I'll never make it happen."
Janson shrugs "hopefully not because you sure don't want to end up just like your old teammate Annie."
"I'm not dumb and softly like Annie that got all softly over the teenages that we have I don't get all softly I'm strong and hard I promise to make Y/n the best creator ever that everyone in here is going to be jealous of her."
"Let's see about that Lucy duck."

Hi I know that I ask for so many hope big sister, but is a cutest thing to read so I am wondering if you can do other of hope big sister Where their parents ask her to babysit her six months old sister
Little Princess
Tumblr media
Baby female Mikaelson reader x Hope Mikaelson (+ Klaus and Hayley)
Warnings: none
A/n: Hayley and Klaus are together in this
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Mom, we'll be fine. Nothing will happen" Hope tells Hayley. She's holding you secure against her chest as you suck on the yellow soother in your mouth. "Are you sure? Because we can always get one of your aunts to come over" Hayley asks one more time, worried.
Hayley and Klaus had asked Hope to babysit you while they go out for the night.
"Yes I'm sure, go have fun" Hope sighs, she's been convincing your guys' mom and dad that you'll both be fine being left alone for a couple hours.
"Alright, sweetheart. We'll be home before 11" Klaus kisses Hope's forehead, then the top of your head. Klaus holds a coat up to Hayley, helping her put it on.
"Bye, Sweetie" Hayley looks at Hope and then at your form snuggled into her. "Bye," Hope smiles and holds one of your arms up, waving your hand. You giggle as your big sister waves your hand before she sets it carefully back to yourself
They walk towards the door, before walking out the door, Hayley looks back, sadness in her eyes.
"It's okay, Love. Nothing will happen to our girls" Klaus whispers into her ear, before closing the door.
Hope walks over to the door and locks it, before turning back around and walking up the stairs to her room with you.
"Time for some sister time" She nuzzles softly into your tiny strands of hair. You giggle quietly and cuddle closer responding to her.
She sits on her bed, resting you in her lap as she grabs the fluffy throw blanket from the other side of her bed. She carefully wraps it around you both, not wanting to wrap it around you too tight and accidentally suffocate you.
You suckle on your pacifier as you watch your big sister grab something off her nightstand and place it in front of where you're sitting on her lap on the comforter.
The title reads Cinderella. "This is a story about a beautiful ordinary girl who becomes a princess. A princess just like you. My princess" Hope tells you, kissing the top of your head then opens the picture book.
She starts reading the book, doing different voices for each of the characters. Three quatres of the way through the book, you start to doze off. Your head leans against Hope's chest as your half-lidded eyes try to keep focusing on the pictures in the book without closing.
But soon, you succumb to sleep. When Hope realizes you have fallen asleep, she closes the book and gently places it back on her nightstand.
She adjusts you so your curled up against her chest with her hand on your back as she lays down in her bed.
With her other hand, she holds it up and takes a couple pictures of the two of you. She smiles at the photos and saves them to the file she has for pictures of you.
For the rest of the night she just scrolls through her phone and texts Josie. She hasn't told your guys' parents or anyone about their relationship quite yet. Well, unless if telling you counts. But it most likely doesn't becuase you have no idea what's she talking about 90% of the time.
When Klaus and Hayley get back home from their date, they call out for Hope. When there's no call back, Hayley starts up the stairs, Klaus behind her. Hayley checks your room, but you're not in your crib.
Before she can start to panic, Klaus pulls her away from her thoughts and motions her to come over to where he's standing in Hope's doorway.
The picture she sees when she goes over is adorable. Hope obviously fell asleep while on her phone, it being a couple centimeters from where her right hand is. Her other hand is still rested on your small back. Both of you are fast asleep, dead to the world as of right now.
Hayley leans into Klaus's side when he holds out his arm, and wraps it around her shoulders. "See, needn't worry about them. They've got each other" Klaus whispers and places a chaste kiss on Hayleys head.
05| The Tribrid
Pairing: Klaus Mikaelson x daughter!reader Summary: As you settle back into the Quarter, you juggle your personal and new professional life—but with the Mikaelsons, it was almost as if there was no difference between the two. Warnings: none Words: 5.6K
Masterlist | Part 6
a/n: i see this series getting long, guys; just letting you know. btw, i'm pretty much unoccupied, so u can expect new posts for this series and possibly other imagines like every 2-3 days. and tysm for all the support! anyway, i'll let you get to reading now.
Tumblr media
I walked into the Abattoir with a façade of confidence. I was now completely sober, facing the repercussions of my drunken actions. It'd been about a week since my agreement with Elijah and he'd only just called me in to speak with him yesterday.
I was currently cursing my drunk self, but at least Marcel was now allowed back into the Quarter without any fuss. Of course, he wasn't allowed back into the slaughterhouse, but he did compel himself a nice little townhouse a few minutes of human-walking away from my place.
In New Orleans, it was always better to live in the Quarter than anywhere else. This was the heart of the city's supernatural happenings. You were both safest here and also at most danger. But I guess, if you had enemies, you wanted to be in the Quarter because, if you had a crew to roll with, then nobody would really try you.
That's how it used to be at one point in time, and that's what the factions were trying to achieve now.
I was immediately greeted after making it past the gates. "Y/N," Elijah said, walking towards me, hands held out. He wrapped an arm around me, walking me to the couches in the middle of the courtyard. I tried not to show any discomfort at the physical touch. "It's lovely to see you."
I chuckled a little. "Feeling's mutual," I replied, causing the nobleman to let out a little laugh himself. I sat down on one of the couches while he sat on the other. "So, what have we got today?"
He sighed, "The withes are unhappy because of- all due respect, Marcellus' actions."
Right. Marcel forbade anyone to do magic. While I understand his reasoning, trying to protect a little witch by the name of Davina Claire, it was cruel. To ask a witch to go without magic was like asking a human not to breathe; it was damn near impossible.
Even though I get what he was trying to do, I still didn't agree with it—but that didn't mean that I agreed with what the New Orleans witches were doing either.
"So I've heard. But I'm sure you're aware of why he did what he did." He was; otherwise, I wouldn't have brought it up. I wouldn't do anything to endanger Davina; she'd become like a family to me. I knew that the Mikaelsons knew all about Davina, the harvest, and whatnot.
"Yes, of course. To protect Davina, I understand. She is special, without a doubt." Elijah's voice with filled with nothing other than conviction; I'd expect nothing less when people were speaking about Davina.
I smiled thinking about her. "Yes, she is."
"However, it still hasn't done us any favours on a community-wide scale." Elijah ran a hand through his hair. "The witches' spokesperson, Genevieve, is just about furious with the treatment they've received." A look suddenly appeared on his face. "And considering the... interactions my family has had with her, I wouldn't want to anger her further, especially since Hayley is with child."
This was the first time my heart didn't stop at the mention of Klaus' unborn baby. Instead, I was too focused on the witch Elijah named: Genevieve. Now, this was a name Marcel had somehow neglected to inform me about, but I was well aware of who she was.
From my understanding, Rebekah Mikaelson killed her the same year the Mikaelsons fled New Orleans, sometime in the early 1900s. Marcel spilled the whole story to me one night when he was drunk.
Genevieve died. Yet, according to Elijah (and I know this is not a coincidence) she's alive leading the NOLA coven.
Great.
I responded after a beat, bringing my hands together. "Okayyy, so what are we doing?"
"Making the witches happy, love."
Now my heart stopped.
I turned my head to see Klaus just finishing walking down the stairs. "Elijah tells me you're our new... fixer." He shrugged, making his way to the minibar. "So fix it."
"Niklaus."
"Get a grip, Elijah. I don't think I'm offending the young woman," he said before turning to face me. "Am I offending you, love?"
I skipped the whole processing bit of this situation and dived straight into my persona. "Not at all."
Klaus made a gesture to me with his hand, turning back to his brother. "See, Elijah. Marcel's right hand has tough skin." Elijah responded with a much more exhausted sigh than before, rubbing his hand on his face. Klaus ignored this, turning back to me with a bottle of bourbon in his hand. "Want me to pour you a glass, Y/N?"
"It is ten o'clock in the morning, Niklaus."
"All the more reason," he quipped back. "Y/N?"
I tried to loosen up, but my smile probably came out a little more tense than I originally intended. "I'm good; thank you."
Klaus looked at me for a few seconds before shrugging and pouring his own glass. Elijah took this opportunity to continue, but not before letting out another sigh. "As I was saying before my brother so tersely interrupted us, Genevieve has agreed to meet with us after I told her that you—Marcel's right hand, as Niklaus put it—were going to be representing us."
I tried to focus all my attention on the task at hand instead of my absent father who kept looking over at me periodically. I remembered what this was like when I did it for Cellie; I just had to get back in the game. "So, if you are looking to make an agreement of some sort, what are you willing to negotiate—give up, even?"
Just as Elijah was about to answer, Klaus briskly cut him off. "Oh, that's all on you, love." I narrowed my eyes slightly and he elaborated. "You decide then and there what you think is fair." He shrugged again, and although he looked carefree, he also had a smug look on his face that I doubt he was even trying to hide. "Ball's in your court." This was a test.
I didn't ponder on that for too long, nodding to him. "I can do that."
Klaus nodded back. He looked like he wanted to say something, but a quick look from Elijah seemed to make him want to hold his tongue. Thank God.
While I seemed like I was coming a long way, just the mere idea of holding a conversation with this man was terrifying. There were so many things I was holding my tongue about. It was just lucky that I so happened to be 500 years old. A few, quick conversations with my dad who had no idea I was his illegitimate child would not break me. Maybe it fucked with my head, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle.
I'm here after all, aren't I?
Elijah cleared his throat. "Well, it seems to me that we've discussed everything we needed to discuss for today." He stood up and I followed suit. "Again, it was lovely seeing you, Y/N."
"Likewise." I shook the hand he held out, once again ignoring the weird original rush I felt. "I'll see myself out." Couldn't get out faster.
I walked toward the exit before Elijah could say something gentlemanly about escorting me out and before Klaus could say something that'd boggle my mind even further. I assumed he'd text me the details about the meeting later.
I took a deep breath immediately once I was far enough from the compound that I was sure they wouldn't hear me. I had no idea how I was going to get used to any of this, but it was too late to go back now.
In the meantime, I decided to take my mind off the Mikaelsons for a bit by visiting someone who I've yet to see.
Tumblr media
I walked into the old church with caution. It wasn't like I had a problem with Kieran; I just felt awkward whenever I talked to him, so I'd rather avoid him. I've had enough awkward situations in these past few weeks to last me a lifetime.
To my luck, he was absent and so I just walked straight upstairs, dodging cobwebs as I went until I made it to the attic's ajar door. A girl sat on a stool in front of an easel, painting a landscape. She was so focused she didn't even notice me push the door the rest of the way open.
I smiled, leaning on the door as I looked around the room that'd changed since I last saw it, now more decorated and screaming it'd been touched by a teenage girl. "So Marcel's still got you holed up in here, huh?"
She instantly spun around with her jaw dropped. "Y/N?!" She ran toward me, engulfing me in a tight hug that I'm sure would've broken some bones if I was human.
I chuckled, "Hi, Davina. I've missed you, too."
She pulled back, looking over me with disbelief visible on her face. "Oh, my God- when did you get back?"
"A little while ago. I'm sorry I couldn't come see you sooner, but I've been absolutely swamped. I promise, though—going into the future, I'll make time to see you." Davina smiled, pulling me back in for another hug. Her happiness spread to me and I started smiling so hard that my cheeks hurt. I think this might be the first time I've been this happy since I got back to New Orleans.
Davina was an amazing kid. I was supposed to meet up with Marcel the night of the harvest when he saved her, and so I ended up meeting her a few months before I left. She just so happened to be one of the few people who know my secret. She was incredibly gifted and reminded me so much of my younger self. I felt like I owed it to her, to myself, to be there for her. In the short time I've known her, she's become something like a little sister to me, if not a daughter.
When we broke from the hug, we both ended up sitting on the bed. I let her catch me up on what's been happening, even though I already more or less knew it from Marcel's summaries. "Okay, so if the witches aren't trying to hunt you down anymore, why are you still hiding away in this attic?"
"Well, I'm not hiding away anymore," she replied. "Marcel just figured it'd be safer for me to stay here instead of with them. He still doesn't trust them and, honestly, neither do I. They've been acting kind of weird since the witches were resurrected, but I just deal with it and go there everyday to practice."
I hummed. I understood Marcel's reasoning; keeping Davina at the church was actually pretty smart. I wouldn't trust her with a bunch of vengeful witches, either, especially after they tried to kill her once. But this attic was far too small for a little girl to spend her days in.
I looked around the cluttered room, thinking before I said screw it and decided to propose my idea to Davina. "What if you didn't have to stay here?" I asked, looking back at her.
She furrowed her brows. "What do you mean? It's not like there's anywhere else I could go, besides with the witches."
"Not necessarily true." I sat up straighter. "I mean, my townhouse has three rooms, and only one of those rooms isn't empty." I shrugged, gesturing around the room. "It's bigger than this place, so all your stuff would fit."
She sat up too. "Wait, are you being serious?"
"Hell yeah, I am. And the protections on my place are a lot better than this church's, trust me."
"You want me to move in with you?"
"Yeah, Davina, that's what I've been sayi-" I was cut off when she threw her arms around me in the tightest hug she'd given me since I entered the attic, and that was saying something.
"Oh, my gosh! Yes, of course!"
I giggled at her enthusiasm, hugging her back before pulling away to pull my phone out of my back pocket. "Okay, I'll drop you off at the apartment now and I'll text some people to come pick up your stuff and bring it to you." I glanced back up at her for confirmation, looking back at my phone when she giddily nodded. "You can just make yourself at home and get settled in. I'll be home a bit later; I just have a business meeting first."
"Yeah, sure." Davina then stood up, looking around and clapping her hands. "I'll start packing!"
I laughed for what felt like the umpteenth time since I've seen her, standing up too. "Alright, D. I'll see you later," I said, but she was already far too engrossed in packing her things, giving me a distracted goodbye. I shook my head, the corners of my lips going up even higher as I left the room.
Thank God I wouldn't have to come back to this creepy ass church anymore. I really hadn't even thought of asking Davina move in with me; it was such a spur of the moment kind of thing, but I had no doubts then and no doubts now. She'd be safer with me than here, with the witches, or even Marcel.
At the though of my friend, I went to text him about this new development, coming across a message from Elijah along the way.
Elijah M. We'll be meeting the witches at 7:00 PM at the compound.
You OK, I'll be there.
I stuffed my phone back into my pocket after responding to Elijah and texting Marcel about Davina. Seven was two hours away, so I had time to go home and freshen up before the meeting.
I wasn't nervous; I'd already been here before, already done it all, but I did feel a weird pressure to do this well. Something in me said Klaus was counting on me to fail, so it was my job to prove him wrong.
Tumblr media
I walked right into the compound later without standing out front for ten minutes like I did this morning. I was gonna have to get used to this all eventually and I'd prefer that'd happen sooner rather than later.
I was apparently earlier than everyone else because there wasn't a Mikaelson or red-haired witch in sight. I checked my watch: 6:30, it read. Earlier than I expected, but that was fine with me. I wiped the imaginary dust off my outfit: slacks and a tight white dress shirt that I'd unbuttoned just enough to not look like a female Elijah. Resemblance to the Mikaelsons was not what I needed right now.
I was just about to pull out my phone to keep myself busy when I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around, my eyes meeting the mother of Klaus' kid. "Oh, hi," she greeted, a surprised look on her face. "What are you- oh, right, Elijah told me you guys were meeting with the witches tonight."
"Yeah- it, uh, appears that I'm a bit early." I chuckled, making small talk even though I really didn't want to have any unnecessary conversations with anyone that lived in this building.
"No, it's a good quality. Elijah's like that," she told me. I nodded, ignoring my thoughts which were questioning her relationship with Elijah. Something told me it was a lot more complicated than it seemed. "I wanted to thank you, by the way."
My brows furrowed. "Hm? For what?"
"For covering me that day with Elijah- and for saving me from that vampire that day, too," she expressed with an almost bashful look on her face. "I realize I was pretty rude to you, but I was really just having a bad day, and-"
"And I'm a vampire, so you were just being careful." She let a small, embarrassed smile form on her lips which I reciprocated. "It's fine, I get it. I'd do the same if I were in your shoes."
"Thank you for understanding; I really appreciate it." I told her it was no problem, resisting the urge to be nosy and ask why she didn't wanna tell Elijah what happened; I didn't want to risk her growing suspicious of me.
Before Hayley and I could fall into an uncomfortable silence, Klaus and Elijah strolled in through the gates into the courtyard. Klaus' eyes narrowed between me and Hayley, probably in a protective manner, while Elijah greeted me.
"Y/N, sorry to have kept you waiting-"
"Oh, no, it was no biggie." I gestured to Hayley. "I had good company, anyways." Hayley smiled, excusing herself after wishing us luck with the witches, but I doubted I'd need it.
I was good and I knew it. Half a millennium alone in the world taught you how to negotiate, how to get your way when you had no one else on your side. Really, I was less worried about the witches and more worried about being in Klaus' presence.
Speak of the devil.
"The witches should arrive soon," Klaus announced, glancing down at his watch then up at me, a smirk arising on his face. "And then you'll be able to play your hand."
I stopped myself from narrowing my eyes or doing anything that showed I felt the shade he was so obviously throwing my way. Clearly, without even having really spoken to me, dear old dad has decided he doesn't like me, much less trust me. I don't know why that hurt because I don't even want to be talking to him period. I guess there's just a part of me that disagrees with that.
Like this morning, Klaus didn't waste a second before walking over to the bar. "Can I interest you in a drink whilst we wait, love?" He poured himself a glass. "Some... liquid courage, if you will."
He's being a jackass on purpose.
I declined, "No thanks." I shook my head. "I don't need it." And I also don't need to be under the influence around the Originals.
Klaus chuckled in an almost sardonic manner. Like the night I met him, he had a dark air around him that he barely cared to conceal. Klaus wanted people to notice that about him; he wanted people to be scared. And I was, but for entirely different reasons.
However, I'd sooner die before letting him know that. If he wanted to play hard ball, then I'd be the best damn batter he's ever seen.
Klaus turned around, tipping his glass to me. "You're quite confident."
"Well, I can back it up," I quipped back. In response, he sarcastically smiled, taking a sip of the brown liquid in his hand. From the corner of my eye, I saw Elijah glancing in between us watchfully.
"So I've heard- and you know, it got me thinking, what exactly is it about you that makes you so special?" This-
I was given time to pause by Elijah's interjection. "Niklaus."
He held his hands out in the air. "What, Elijah? I'm just curious," he reasoned.
I cut Elijah off before he could say something more in order to respond. "No, it's alright, Elijah; I understand the skepticism." I looked back to Klaus whose eyes just so imperceptibly narrowed. "The reason why people are more inclined to listen to me is because I don't operate with a desire to instill fear in others, just respect." I maintained eye contact with Klaus, hoping he was picking up what I was putting down. I knew he got the message when I saw his jaw clench.
He looked like he was going to say something else, but before he could, the gates to the compound opened. All three of us looked toward the entrance to see Genevieve and two other witches walking beside her, like a little entourage.
Elijah seemed to let out a sigh of relief at the intrusion. "Genevieve," he greeted, walking toward them. "Thank you for agreeing to this meeting. Please, take a seat. Can we interest you in any beverages?"
While Elijah was clearly doing his best to mediate, Klaus didn't say a word, only burning a hole into the side of Genevieve's head with a hard glare while he drank his scotch.
The three of them sat down on one couch as Elijah and I sat on the one parallel to it. "No, that'll be alright," she said, crossing her legs. "I know you appreciate verity, Elijah, so I'm gonna be honest: I wouldn't have agreed to this meeting if it weren't for the woman sitting next to you."
Elijah nodded. "Yes, I'm completely aware. Y/N is here to make sure that we both get what we want and to ensure that the future of the Quarter, and everyone in it, is prosperous."
I smiled, holding my hand out. "Hello, it's lovely to meet you. I've heard many good things about you." That was a lie.
Shaking my hand, she responded, "Likewise. The elders of the coven are practically smitten with you. I've never seen witches so eager to deal with a vampire."
"Well, I hope that, after our discussion, you will also be more eager to work with the Mikaelsons."
Genevieve almost scoffed at what I said. In my peripheral, I saw Klaus roll his eyes—at me or her, I'm unsure. "Please, Y/N—I'm sure you're aware of who exactly these people are and what they've done. Even though you're a vampire, you have to admit it's outrageous." Her voice was incredulous.
I really don't understand what she was making a big fuss about. From the way the story was told, Genevieve used to have a huge crush on Klaus back in the day—ew—but I wasn't gonna actually use that against her. I didn't want her to resent me; I actually needed her to like me for this to work.
"I understand where you're coming from," I told her, managing to muster up a sympathetic expression. "But we all want the same thing: peace. That is the final destination; there are so many stops along the way to get there, so if peace is where we truly want to be, then we need to be willing to put aside our differences."
The redhead sighed. "I hear what you're saying, but how can we expect peace while working with these people? How do you expect us to trust them?" Now, Klaus scoffed, causing both Genevieve and Elijah to look over at him, Elijah with a more stern look in his eyes. I, on the other hand, ignored him altogether, focusing completely on the witch in front of me.
I said her name to get her attention back onto me, thus causing Elijah to look away from his brother, too. "I am, in no way, asking you to trust blindly. We're willing to negotiate; just state your terms." I knew this was dangerous, giving her the opportunity to ask for whatever she wanted, but the witches had been recently oppressed; giving them the chance to ask for what they wanted was like an apology of sorts, one that I felt they'd appreciate.
Genevieve looked hesitant, glancing at both of her associates, to Elijah, Klaus, and then back to me. Even without looking at him, I could feel Klaus staring at me, probably questionably. None of them were expecting that move.
See, because I was representing the Mikaelsons, Genevieve expected me to state their terms first then negotiate since they were more powerful. So, of course she was surprised.
After a beat of silence, she finally spoke up. "We want to practice freely."
"Done."
"And we want to celebrate our festivals without a hassle."
"Of course."
"And we want to reclaim witch territory for ourselves and ourselves alone, like the Lafayette cemetery."
"Reasonable," I noted, waiting for her to say something else. When she didn't, I asked, "Is there anything else we can give you? You don't have to answer right now; we'll take some time then I'll get a contract drafted-"
"Esther Mikaelson's grimoire." At her interjection, the room went silent. I didn't even wanna know what Klaus looked like right now, but Genevieve sure as hell seemed to have regained her confidence. "We want Esther Mikaelson's grimoire." That was one ballsy request.
"Are you out of your mind?" For the first time since the witches walked into the compound, Klaus spoke. I looked over at him to see a look of shock adorning his face as if the redhead just tried to kill him—and, I mean, was he that far off?
You don't ask for the Original Witch's spell book without wanting to kill or at least having the ability to kill if you so need it.
Elijah seemed to recover from a shock of his own, trying to calm his brother down. "Niklaus-"
"I am not giving you my mother's grimoire." Klaus had set his drink down, walking toward where we were all sitting. Smoke might as well have been coming out of his ears. I knew that, if I were one of the three witches sitting across from me, I'd be shitting myself. "After what you tried to do to my family, you expect me to hand over-"
"Niklaus." Elijah cut him off, but more firmly and this time Klaus actually listened, turning to look over at Elijah with hard eyes. His eyes flickered to me for a split second before looking back at Genevieve—or glaring, rather.
While Genevieve looked slightly startled, I saw the dead-set expression on her face. It'd be hard to try and convince her that Esther's grimoire wasn't what the witches wanted, but it was possible.
Gears turned in my head as I thought it over until a quick idea popped into my head. At that moment, I began, "I'm sorry, Genevieve. We can do everything else you mentioned, put it in writing, but Esther Mikaelson's grimoire is a no-go." I saw her shaking her head before I even finished.
"Then no deal-"
Elijah cut in, "Genevieve, please-"
"I can give you the next best thing." I caught Genevieve's attention easily, along with everyone else's in the room. In seconds, I had come up with a quick fix; it was a gamble, but if you aren't willing to go big, then go the fuck home. "I currently have a Bennett grimoire in my possession." I paused, gauging her reaction. Clearly, this night was full of surprises.
I suppressed the urge to glance over at my relatives; I had a feeling that I already knew what their faces looked like.
Genevieve struggled to compose herself, so I continued, "It's yours, so long as you accept." I understood what was happening here: the witches or the spirits or whatever were already decided, and they wanted the Mikaelson grimoire, but how could they be upset with what I was offering? A Bennett spell book was a damn good replacement if I ever saw one, and if anyone knew that, it was Esther's children themselves.
I knew the history—I've spent my life learning it. Ayana taught Esther everything she knew; the Bennett bloodline was one of the strongest, maybe even stronger than the Mikaelsons. And although I doubt Genevieve knew the lengthy Bennett history, she quickly got her bearings and responded, "I- we accept-"
I cut her off, smiling, "Great. Now our turn." I clasped my hands together. "You guys can keep your sanctuaries, the cemetery and whatnot, but in shared areas like the rest of the Quarter, we ask that you remain peaceful and avoid altercations with other factions. We're asking the same of the other factions, as well. Similarly, the Mikaelsons don't want conflicts, so we'd also like to avoid altercations in that area."
It seemed pretty simple because it was. It was like what Elijah said to me that night in Rousseau's: everybody wants power, and the witches were no different. They didn't agree to this meeting for peace; they agreed because they wanted power, and the Mikaelsons struck this deal for the same exact reason, even if that's not how the nobleman would've phrased it.
While I didn't provide the witches with the same prepared list of terms, what I was asking for would have the same effect. The Originals were already on top, so what more did they really need to ask for?
Genevieve, once again, looked over at the two girls sitting next to her who both nodded at the silent question she was asking. When she turned back to me, the smallest of smiles was on her lips. "You have yourself a deal."
I reciprocated her expression as we both stood up. I shook her hand. "Pleasure doing business with you. I'll work on getting that contract drafted in more detail, so please, come to us with any other requests you may have."
Genevieve nodded, letting go of my hand, and Elijah took the pleasantries from there, walking them out of the compound. This left Klaus and I alone momentarily.
I looked over at him to see that he was already staring at me. I felt a chill go down my spine from how intently he was looking at me, my mini adrenaline rush dying down. It looked almost like he was picking me apart with his gaze.
I didn't want him to think I had something to hide, so I held his stare. We were both silent until Elijah walked back. This time, he didn't seem to sense the tension in the room—that, or he just chose to ignore it.
"Thank you, Y/N," he said. I looked away from Klaus to smile in response, but the second I did, he broke his vow of silence.
"How do you have a Bennett grimoire in your possession?" Klaus' voice was cold and accusatory, just as his eyes were. Elijah just might have frozen had he not been a thousand-years-old; hell, I probably would have, too, but I'd already been crafting an explanation as soon as the idea popped into my head.
Not the real explanation, but one that made more sense.
I shrugged, feigning nonchalance. "I met one a few hundred years ago. She died after she was in the wrong place, wrong time, but she left that book to me."
Klaus didn't look sold. "A Bennett witch left her grimoire with you, a vampire? Not with her family?"
"Well, to be fair, she wasn't in touch with her family at that time," I retorted. "And I was human at the time so, yes, she left it to me because she knew it could come of use one day."
Klaus didn't reply to me, instead choosing to continue staring me down. However, his glare was now lessened, so I knew he sort of believed me, even though he had doubts.
In the time that Klaus wasn't saying anything, Elijah cleared his throat, bringing the attention back to him. When I looked over, he smiled and tried to further de-escalate the situation. "Thank you, again, Y/N."
That was my cue to leave. "No problem. Are you okay with meeting up tomorrow to discuss the contract?"
He nodded. "Of course. Lunch?"
"Sounds great," I said, grabbing my bag that I'd left on the armchair next to me. "I'll see you tomorrow then."
Elijah bid me farewell while Klaus remained mute, but I still felt him staring at me, even as I was walking out; only when I'd walked two minutes away from the compound did I finally let go of that feeling
I didn't speed all the way home this time like I had been doing recently after exiting the Abattoir. Instead, I decided to take this time to think since I really haven't gotten a moment alone all day.
The excuse I gave Klaus wasn't too far from the truth—I only warped it slightly. I didn't know who he knew or how well he knew my mother before he slept with her, but I knew that if I gave him the real story, there was a possibility that he'd find out who I was.
The real story was that my mother was best friends with a Bennett. Almost like history repeating itself if you thought about it; Amelia Bennett was to my family what Ayana was to the Mikaelsons. She was both a mentor to my mother and me.
In reality, we were a lot closer than I made it sound. She was a lot closer to my mother than she was with the rest of her family. We were in Salem; the witch trials were just beginning, so any witch in the area was either preparing to leave or to die. She was anticipating the latter, so before she died, she made sure to leave the assets she had to my mother.
The other Bennetts didn't dispute this, fleeing west. The rest of the story, I try not to think about. I needed to be strong, for Davina, for Marcel, for Amelia, for my mother, and for myself; otherwise, everything I've sacrificed would've been for nothing.
With that thought, I had a new resolution.
This, what I was doing here in New Orleans, could not fail. I have not lived the life I've lived just to fail. So from this moment forward, I decided to be better, to be stronger. No more quivering at the mention of my father or his baby, no more getting shaken up by conversations with the Mikaelsons.
Walking toward my apartment, I made myself a promise.
This city will not break me, no matter what.
the best day | hayley marshall
- based off ‘the best day’ by taylor swift
SUMMARY: on the fourth year anniversary of your moms death you remember all the good moments ( and some of the bad ) you had with her.
relationship: hayley marshall x daughter!reader & minor lizzie saltzman x reader
warning: bullying, cursing(?)
request?: no
Tumblr media
At five years old, your mom told you about the story of vampire, witches and werewolves. It was kid proofed and she would go into more detail when you were older but you had to know this stuff because your parents were hybrids and your aunts and uncles were the original family.
You watched her explain it to you and your twin sister hope in her gentle and kind voice. You couldn’t help but feel anxious as she explained that werewolves were real. Like in little red riding-hood. But your mom wasn’t scared, she was brave. And you wanted to be like her. Because she was the best person you knew.
You and Hope had been attending the salvatore boarding school since you were seven. And you guys never really clicked with anyone. It’s not like you didn’t try — it’s just that being the tribrid freaks didn’t exactly help out.
Now in your teen years, thirteen to be exact, the girls attending the school were mean. especially the headmasters daughters, lizzie and josie.
“No wonder your daddy didn’t stick around, he couldn’t resist his murder urges long enough to be a father” Some kid in class, you think her name is alyssa, yelled out pointing to the title of the book on everyone’s desk klaus mikaelson the great evil
feeling tears weld up in your eyes you stood up, lizzie saltzman watched hesitantly before speaking out her own hurtful words “Yeah i mean, who would want hope and y/n as their kids anyways?”
It stung, it really did. You didn’t know why Lizzie and Josie suddenly started jumping at yours and your sisters throats. It started happening after some fire in hopes room. But it hurt, You used to really like the blonde. Imagining what it would be like if you and hope took up the offer to be friends with her when you first arrived.
You ran out of the classroom and into your dorm. Putting up a barrier spell and crying on your floor. After two hours of refusing to leave your room — even when headmistress caroline forbes knocked and asked you if you wanted to talk about it. You heard a familiar knock and the kind voice of your mother call out “Sweetie, Do you mind coming out?” headmistress forbes must have called her.
You wiped your tears and opened the door “Mommy” You cried and gave her a hug. She rubbed your back for ten minutes until you calmed down. Then told you to follow her.
You spent the day at mystic grill for lunch, and then shopping, then some icecream and to finish the day off — you went on a walk around mystic falls.
When your mom gave you the tightest hug ever and told you to call her if you needed anything — no matter how small, you couldn’t even remember who alyssa chang and lizzie saltzman were.
You had the best day with your mom today.
At fifteen years old, You watched with power-disabling chains on your wrist as someone you knew as your uncle elijah stabbed your father “Elijah” Your mom whispered out. But he didn’t help her. He walked over to you and grabbed you as he saw you run towards your mom. She closed her eyes for a second before looking between you and hope. Mouthing ‘I love you’ before pulling greta’s hand out of her chest — snapping off gretas daylight ring finger and using her vampire speed to speed out the door. You watched as your mom light up in flames as your dad screamed and your uncle elijah, the man she loved released you. You fell to your knees and ran over to your moms burning body screaming something along the lines of mom! don’t leave me, i still need you . Your dad grabbed you before you could touch her burning body.
That was the worst day of your life
Now, At nineteen after defeating a god with the help of people you thought you never be friends with. Holding the hand of the person you thought would never such as breathe near you willingly — You stand infront of the tree that had carved in hayley marshall
“I’ll miss you forever mom” You whisper, tracing the writing with your fingers before wiping the tear that fell. You felt a hand on your back and looked up to face your girlfriend, lizzie saltzman.
She pulled you in for a hug as you sobbed into her shoulder. You would miss your mom forever, Just as your sister hope will. But your mom loved you, you know that. So that’s why you chose to celebrate her life.
“I love you mom” You whisper quietly.
His Saving Grace
Chapter Two
1114 Klaus x future daughter reader
I recommend re-reading chapter one as I made some major changes. I know I promised this update two years ago, but university got in my way and when I came back to these old stories a lot of re-vamping took place.
Masterlist
Tumblr media
The year is 2030, Y/N the daughter of Niklaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall. A powerful young witch which threatens the survival of Malivore. In retaliation Malivore unleashes a time fay to return to the past and kill Klaus to ensure his survival.Y/N is Hope’s younger twin, now that no one remembers who she is the job is left to y/n to stop Malivore.
Tumblr media
                   “You still live in the silences between my thoughts.”
Y/N resisted the urge to sign impatiently as the crowds around her soared and rejoiced as the pastor preached. The loud voices screaming into her sensitive ears, highly agitating her short temperament. Y/N hated church, she was by no means an atheist but she was a witch and a woman living in a time where she could be hanged for simply defying authority. So with that in mind Y/N had begrudgingly entertained Alaric, to keep up the role as godly saints whom attended church every Sunday.
For the past weeks tempers were high within the household, Alaric and Davina could only watch as she battled silently with her demons.  Putting up a saintly farce everyday in the village as boys swarmed for her hand in marriage and village girls scowled jealousy. As someone who was influenced by the strong women in her life, to always be true to ones self and to never shape shift into society's ideal, the pretense (and the besotted men) were killing her. Alaric was getting far too accustomed in his daily ritual of turning away marriage proposals from haughty mothers and corpse like men.
Pulling her away from her thoughts was the strain of her far too tightly, bonded corset. Thank the old gods she was from a thousand years into the future. Now Y/N realized why her Aunt Rebekah mostly if not always bit the heads off every man she met. If I had to suffer almost seven hundred years in such a tightly wounded corset which restricted most movements I would have done the same Y/N thought impatiently. As the preacher vivaciously expelled the devil with the crowd, Y/N reaching a breaking point silently casting a notice me not charm and made her way to the exit, silently huffing as she straightened her ankle length, grey dress which carried a turtleneck-like neckline. She wore a pristine, white shirt underneath whose sleeves puffed loosely around her arms but knotted tightly below her elbows. On top of her grey dress carried a loose brown corset of sorts held together by a length of ribbon criss-crossed. This corset did not converge in the middle, rather it showcased about five inches of the grey vertical striped pattern upon the bust and midriff as to emphasise her figure. Stitched upon her grey skirt was a length of brown which stopped at least six inches above her grey ankle length skirt, but it was gauged elegantly upon her right thigh allowing an elegant stylish slide flow. After all she was her Aunt’s niece and secretly she hoped it pissed off the conservatives in the crowd. Oh yeah! that speech about playing the part was not translating so well into her everyday life.
Finally reaching a safe distance, out of sight from zealous fanatics just upon the edge of the forest, she dropped the spell. Huffing a sigh of relief all Y/N now needed was a pack of cigarettes or some weed to make 1114 much more bearable.
“That’s quite the trick you pulled back there, little strega.” Now that snapped Y/N from her inner thoughts. Spinning around in a quite unlady like fashion, for this period at least, more than ready to confront the intruder. Only to be left dumbfounded to the stranger standing before her. But with a practiced ease which came from years of sneaking out and around  the Salvatore Boarding School, Y/N layered on her oh so innocent Mikaelson charm. “I’m sorry, what did you just call me?, I have to say I’m not aware of that particular term!” Lies, her mind rang out. Play cool, Y/N thought, talk him up just to get close enough and wipe his memory. Now that particular trick was her favourite. The stranger smirked coyly at her, “I think you know exactly what I mean, liten heks.” Y/N paced herself now, he knew old norse. Whomever this stranger was, he was clearly quite wealthy at that judging by his smooth velvet and silks in comparison to her simple cotton dress. Now she had to thread carefully, wealth clearly meant high influence and political sway in a community as small as this one. And that meant possible exposure, this man was a threat, Y/N deemed carefully.
“Now, now liten heks, the stranger went on, I mean yours truly none harm.” My heart is void of ill contempt and malevolence for one with such great power and beauty. As he spoke he drew closer towards her, his face now completely unobstructed from the mist of the early morning. Y/N exhaled softly, the stranger a man’s whose face see had seen everyday in her New Orleans home, a demon who hunted her from birth, Finn Mikaelson. But if he was standing before her, that meant the brotherhood had not yet daggered the Mikaelsons. This younger and less vengeful ghost was still a threat to her but quite possibly an accomplice. The fae had yet to reveal itself it was either supplementing its diet with animals or news of children going missing had been covered up.
The fae according to the texts preferred a warm tropical climate, for if their wings were exposed to cold they would simply fall apart. A fae’s lifeline was linked to her wings, losing them could kill the fae but iron to the heart worked just as well. All in all, the upcoming winter was now days away and left no time for procrastination which meant Y/N directly disobeying Alaric to seek the creature out herself. A venture she had no luck in, the fae who boasted of powerful magics was able to cleverly keep herself hidden.
“Not one for much words I see.” Finn Mikaelson was now standing toe to toe with her. That’s quite alright, he continue as he played with a stray curl. Y/n flinched away slightly as he stared into her eyes, carefully examining the details of her face. “If I didn’t know better, I could have mistaken you for my Freya.” Finn whispered as he continued to tug upon her curl. It was low and if not for her keen hearing it would have been swept to the winds.  Y/N kept her head high and passive, thinking to herself how much of a leering creep her elder uncle was becoming. Quite unlike all accounts of the uptight, wet blanket her uncle Kol always described. As his hand came up to caress her face, Y/N instinctively jumped back, conjuring fire within her palm which she kept safely tucked behind her. Finn only smiled sheepishly, “I seemed to have forgotten my manners, in the presence of a young lady.” I deeply apologise, I do not know what came over me, my lady.
Y/n relaxed slightly and utterly confused as the man introduced himself. As he began to speak on what not, Y/N could only stare at his face in a daze. It would take her some time to sort herself out, only to realize he had disappeared only to leave behind a simple envelope in her hand. Y/N thought back to the genuinely baffled daze Finn fell into as she made her way into town. To onlookers her face was almost dreamy, as if paying much more attention to the envelope she twirled in her hands rather than her path. But rather Y/N was silently contemplating the latent abilities of the fae and just how she could manipulate Finn into helping her.The fae a creature in the future known for its deceitful ways but that though made her wonder just how much accurate Alaric’s information truly was. It was done before, the supernatural popularized lies like silver bullets and garlic to throw suspicion off of them so what if the same was done with the fae? As Y/N ventured into the town’s market lost in her thoughts many eyes followed her, women and young girls gossiped of her weird behaviours and wayward thinking.
________________________________________________________________
Bloody hell, Y/N thought to herself. Now while the young witch prided herself on being a fashionista, dresses were her absolute nightmare, well behind her murderous grandparents and malivore of course. I do have my priorities in order, thank you very much.
Somehow Davina had managed to convince the stubbornest Mikaelson into another deathtrap these humans called corsets. Y/N huffed, begrudgingly following her “parents” out of their temporary home. While she was ecstatic to receive the dinner invite to the Mikaelson home hours prior from Finn which came in the form of the mysterious envelope he left behind, she still heavily detested that damn corset suffocating her. There was just no space to hide her knives!, What’s a girl in multiple skirts and a stuffy attire supposed to do to defend herself when all her knives were confiscated on this occasion.
But nevertheless Y/N compiled it only to see her family again while also plotting to defy Alaric once again on his no knives at the dinner table rule. I mean, its not really a family reunion if someone didn’t have a devious plan in the works.
________________________________________________________________
Servants scattered frantically to the sides, keeping their heads bowed as the feared Mikaelson hybrid descended the grand staircase stepping onto the foyer. Holding an impassive mask, Niklaus surveyed the immediate area ensuring the preparations to his liking. Stepping to the right of the grand foyer Niklaus strolled into the grand sitting room which doubled as a music room, the soft notes of the harp eased his twirling mind.
Taking a seat on a velvet cushioned armchair, with hands clasped elbows resting on his knees and eyes closed Niklaus thought back to the hauntingly familiar pup no he corrected himself, child. Days had passed since their first encounter and thoughts of the child haunted him. In the strangest of ways he craved her presence, but not in a way a lover does. But this vastly unfamiliar pull deep inside him yearning and pushing his self control. But if Niklaus didn’t know any better he would have called it fatherly love and as unbelievably usurp that idea sounded in his head, he couldn’t help but let his mind linger on the possibility. Barr the facial similarities and attitudes that crossed with his, perhaps it was her life that resonated with him he knew all too well the struggles of an abused orphan.
Just maybe when he meet her today, try not to give away how he always crept away at night to watch over her. By the old gods, what would Elijah think of his stalker like behaviour. If his enemies only knew of this attachment, if he only knew. Niklaus sat and wondered of the possibilities, so lost in his thoughts he nearly missed his guests arrival.
__________________________________________________________________
Dinner surprisingly went smoothly, Klaus was utterly entertained by the ideas and thoughts of the young woman before him. Her guardian agitated him deeply with his distrustful glances and cold demeanor.
Y/N on the other hand was on edge for an entirely different reason. As much as she wished to truly enjoy the rare company of her family, she could not help but be worried about the whereabouts of Finn. Given the  strange behaviour she witnessed earlier from him and his sudden disappearance she could not help but ponder the worst, especially given the current circumstances. It could be entirely possible Finn had aligned himself with the fae in order to rid himself of Klaus and the others. As far as she recalled, Finn had never been too particularly fond of the vampiric lifestyle and it is certainly within his motives to fix the balance of nature and forever end the vampire lines.
The rest of the night in the company of the Mikaelsons continued smoothly, with the exception of Kol getting a little too drunk and flirting with Davina. Y/N was able to enjoy the company of her lively Aunt. Soon came the peak of the full moon and the makeshift family slipped away to trap the fae. As Davina gathered the necessary ingredients for a binding ritual and Alaric his iron weapons, Y/N shared her suspicions of Finn and him possibly knowing her true identity. Both had agreed that Finn would be a potential suspect in aiding and plotting with the fae to get rid of the Vampire Sire line, him included. With caution in mind, the trio made their way towards the woods where Y/N last spoke to Finn. Since, Finn was most likely aligned with fae, the two would track him using Y/N’s blood, a plan which quickly came to a stop when the magic revealed the family together in their manor.
Relief didn’t last as the winds picked up around the trio and both Y/N and Davina picked up the excited whispers of dead witches. The brotherhood so it seemed had finally succeeded in crafting the daggers it was only a matter of time before they used it. Huh, maybe it was her paranoia seeping in earlier and Finn was just too ashamed of his earlier behaviour to make an appearance at dinner.
Chapter 3: Tangled up in the blue
(POV: Y/n)
I walked in the room Hayley was in and she was sitting in the middle reading something. “Hey Halys, what are you reading?” “Oh N/n nothing nothing um how is my niece slash nephew this morning?” She said trying to ignore what she was just caught in. “They are doing well. They are so tiny right now that I barely notice them sometimes, but they remind me with sickness every morning.” I said smiling at them and rubbing my stomach. “Right, I'm sorry you have to go through that.” She said, trying to comfort me. We go downstairs and we can hear Rebekah and Klaus talk and also hear them mention me.
“The werewolves would like to know what the plan is.” I said standing next to the doorway. They both look at us and Klaus's stare seems to linger. “Well, that depends what plan you mean, love-- my plan for global domination, or Rebekah's plan to find love in a cruel, cruel world?” Klaus remarked and in response Rebakah threw a pencil with super speed and he kind of deserved it. “The plan to rescue Elijah. You know, the good brother? The one who is now in the possession of your mortal enemy after you stabbed him in the back?” Hayley said, stepping in the room. And I didn’t love the good brother thing. “In the front, if we're being specific.” He said smirking with a little bit of the devil. “You two said that you would get him back. So, is there a plan, or what?” It’s nice to see my sister care more about than me. Maybe with Elijah or someone else she could find her own happiness.
“Oh, Hayley I'm sure they got this so what is the plan?”  “Thank you, Y/n, at least someone believes in me, well, firstly, Marcel is not my mortal enemy-- he's, my friend. Albeit one who is unaware that I'm trying to sabotage his hold over the supernatural community of the French Quarter, but a friend, nonetheless. And secondly, I daggered Elijah in order to gain Marcel's trust. If I had known he would place my brother in the hands of a particularly nasty teenage witch, I certainly would have weighed my options a bit differently. And thirdly-- -- Sister, please.” “And thirdly, the plan, as you have demanded, is for Niklaus to simply ask Marcel for Elijah back.” Okay so maybe he doesn’t have a plan. “That's... that's not the whole plan, is it?” Hayley said with a little disbelief. “Please! Klaus may be a miserable excuse for a sibling, but there is none more diabolical.” Rebakah said I think complementing him. "And that's only the Plan A, love! There's always a Plan B.” I'm a little scared to ask but I do. “And what's Plan B?” “War.“ Oh shit.
Tumblr media
Rebakah and Klaus leave I guess to put their plan in motion. While Hayley and I are left by ourselves again. She goes to read her nothing again and I go to the library to research child well everything. I am shifting through the books when I come across one where it tells how big the baby is each trimester and according to the fruit sizes for pregnant women my son or daughter is the size of a watermelon seed. It is so strange how something so small right now is that I care more about it than I ever thought I would.
Tumblr media
It was later in the night and Klaus was back getting ready for the gala. It was involving their huge amazing egoistic plan. “If you're debating between the bowtie or tie, I would choose the tie. It's more of this decade.” I said, smirking against the door. “Ah love, is that a jab at me and I thought I was the funny one.” I walked more into the room.
“Yeah, well if I'm going to be a mom I should properly work on my jokes. And you should work on your dad jokes too.” “Please I am Klaus Mikaelson. I do not do “dad jokes”.” “Oh, come on, humor me, give me one shitty joke.” “Ok only if you stop jabbing at my age.” “Deal.” “Why was Cinderella so bad at soccer?” “OK that's a start, why?” “She kept running away from the ball.” “Wow that was a shitty dad joke if I ever heard one.” “Well, you asked, love.” He said in his British voice that always made my heart beat quicker than it should. “Um well I will leave you to your plan.”
Tumblr media
Hayley and I were walking by the pool, and we heard some branches snap, and we looked up and saw two wolves looking at us. I leaned over to Hayley and whispered, “You see them too?” “Yeah” “Oh thank God.” We are both so enthralled by the wolves that we didn't sense Sabine behind us. “You're not supposed to be out here.” “Gah! Holy shit don’t sneak up on a pregnant werewolf!” I said catching my breath. “Ha ha sorry was not my intention.” Hayley was already ready to integrate her.
“Who are you?” “Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I'm Sabine. We met. I'm one of Sophie's friends.” “You're one of the witches.” I said. “Sophie just asked me to come keep you two company while everyone's out. You know, it's drawn to you. The child you're carrying is part vampire, part werewolf. You and Klaus made something special.” She gestured to the wolves behind us. “Thanks I know, I wish I knew what it was.”
“You know, I can do something about that, if you want. I mean, find out if it's a boy or girl.” “I thought you couldn't do witchy stuff around here.” Hayley said with confusion. “It's not magic, just an old trick my grandmother taught me. Come on. You have to be a little curious.” Sabine said to me, holding at her hand for me to take it.
I am currently on the laptop researching what the hell I heard tonight, and I hear a knock on the door. It was Klaus. “I thought you might like to know; Elijah is returning to us.” “Really that’s great you should go tell Hayley it would make her feel a lot more easy.” “She hardly knows him, and yet she misses him. What is it about my brother that always inspires such instant admiration?” “I think it’s that he was kind to her even though she is not the one who is carrying the baby.” He looked like he was thinking about my words, and I continued. “You know Klaus you have kindness too.” Shocked were his emotions. “That night that we um spent together I wasn’t that drunk I wanted to, and part of the reason was that I saw you.” He looks like he was deep in thought and went to walk out. “Also!  I learned something today. I think it's a girl.” As he left, I saw a smile on his face. And I am left to translate whatever Sabine said tonight.
Tumblr media
I'm lying on my back and Sabine is holding a pendant over my stomach. “I think it's a girl.” A girl? A baby girl I am so filled with joy right now. “No... wait.” “Wait what? Please tell us she's not having a mini-Klaus.” “Hayley! I will be happy with any gender Sabine, so lay on the news.” The necklace starts to glow, and Sabine drops it. All of a sudden, her eyes roll back in her head, and she begins to chant in a low voice. “Hoc est infantima malom. Nos omnia perditu el eam."
Tumblr media
 Hey everyone, thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed the chapter! I know they are pretty short but that’s because Hayley is only in a couple scenes sadly, per ep in the first half of season but I tried to add more for Y/n, so it is a little bit different then the show. I guess the writers were waiting to bring in her wolf pack storyline then just being pregnant so she can actually do something. If you like Supernatural, I also have a Castiel x reader. See yall next time.
you stumbled out of bed, wiping the sleep from your eyes as you walked into the kitchen. in desperate need of coffee, you grabbed an empty mug, pouring in the hot, caffeinated liquid to the brim. you let the sweet aroma fill your nostrils, sensing each note of hazelnut and vanilla as you let yourself take a sip.
now feeling more awake, you made your way over to hayley, who was standing at the doorway of your niece's bedroom. when she heard your footsteps approaching, she looked over her shoulder and smiled at you when she met your gaze.
"she still sleeping?" you asked, leaning on the opposite side of the doorway beside your sister.
"yup. she was up all night, asking questions about her father. i think she was a little nervous about the idea of meeting him. i told her that you would tell her anything she wanted if she agreed to go to bed."
"always the little troublemaker, just like her mom," you smirked, shaking your head as you took another sip from your mug.
hayley rolled her eyes playfully, but before she could respond, you both heard the honk of a car horn coming from outside your shared house.
"that's mary. would you mind waking hope up and getting her ready while i get her settled in?"
"i'll get right on it."
hayley squeezed your shoulder in a silent 'thank you' before making her way outside to meet mary. you, on the other hand, made your way to hope's bed and took a seat beside her sleeping form.
"time to wake up, sleepyhead," you cooed as you rubbed hope's back soothingly. she began to ease out of her slumber, eyes slowly peeling open so you could get a look at her blue orbs. the very ones that reminded you so much of her father.
"morning," hope mumbled, turning around to face you.
"good morning, gorgeous. you sleep okay?"
"yeah, i'm still a bit tired, though," she responded, her small fists rubbing her eyes as she sat up.
"i bet. i heard you were up pretty late, asking questions about a certain someone," you smiled at her, smoothing her hair from her eyes.
hope's face lit up as she remembered what she wanted to ask you.
"yeah, mom said you would talk to me about dad before you guys leave to go save him."
"i'll tell you anything you wanna know, love bug. what's up?"
hope looked down at her hands in her lap nervously before she looked back up at you, "i guess i just wanna know if he'll be proud of me. proud to know me."
your heart ached with adoration for your niece. "come here," you said, pulling her into your lap. "hope, you are so beautiful, kind, and full of light. you're insanely smart, and you amaze me every day, and i have no doubt in my mind that you are everything and more than your father could have ever dreamed of in a daughter. you're going to knock his socks off, i promise."
"you think so?" she asked, blue eyes hopeful as they looked to you for reassurance.
"i know so, baby girl. you're going to blow him away."
she smiled, throwing her little arms around your neck and pulling you into a hug. you returned her tight embrace, your mind wandering into the memories of klaus's arms pulling you close to him.
it had been difficult, leaving klaus behind in new orleans with marcel. but being able to raise hope alongside your sister gave you comfort because it was as if you got to carry a piece of him everywhere the three of you went. it was the closest you'd ever gotten to feeling him there with you over the past five years of his captivity.
"okay, c'mon. your grandma mary's here, and i'm supposed to be getting you ready."
"and then you guys are going to go save dad?" hope questioned, excitement bleeding through her wide grin.
"and then we're going to go save your dad. i promise."
-
after making the journey to find the last remaining wolf of the malraux pack and extracting her venom, you and hayley finally woke freya from her five year-long slumber.
“freya!”
“are you okay?” you asked, pulling her into a hug after hayley did the same.
“yes. did you get everything i asked for?” hayley nods in return, and freya sighs in relief. “okay, then i need to get started. if i can’t use all of these things to concoct a cure, then elijah and kol are going to die. we don’t have much time.”
as freya scrambles to begin making the cure, hayley’s vampire-hearing picks up on intruders entering the warehouse.
“guys, we’ve got company.”
“then let’s go and take care of it,” you replied, ready for whatever was about to go down.
"let's do this."
you and your sister worked tirelessly, fighting off the enemies that were sent to track the two of you and keelin down. you’d both turned into your wolf forms, fending off your attackers as they came at you. it was gruelling, but there was nothing the two of you wouldn’t do to protect your family. it was the most important thing to you both.
“you want more?" hayley voiced out to your opponents. the two of you stood there, ready to take on anyone else that came at you, when suddenly, bodies started dropping all around you. your heads whipped around at the sounds of the vampires collapsing onto the ground. you turned to look at hayley, whose face transformed from confusion to utter relief. you'd recognize that look on her face anywhere.
elijah.
he popped up behind the two of you, draping his suit jacket over hayley's shoulders and doing the same to you with his button-up shirt.
you clutched the fabric around your body, watching as your sister reunited with her love. she kissed him, holding him close before she wrapped her arms around him, drowning in his long-awaited embrace.
you smiled, happy that hayley could finally be with elijah after five years. however, you couldn't help but envy her. all you wanted more than anything was to feel klaus hold you again. to stroke your hair soothingly as he whispered sweet nothings into your ear, assuring you that you were safe. but klaus wasn't there, and he couldn't pull you close. he couldn't kiss the top of your head or cup your face as he spoke to you comfortingly. not just yet.
-
reunited with the four out of five living mikaelsons, you all concocted a plan to rescue your lover once and for all. elijah and rebekah had gone to josh's loft, and the rest of you went to the bell tower so freya could perform a locator spell on klaus.
"was it absolutely necessary that you perform the spell here where marcel or one of his men could find us?" kol questioned.
"yes. when i first moved to new orleans, i embedded my magic here. i made this place my own."
"all the more reason to let freya do her magic. we can leave as soon as he save klaus." hayley responded.
"kol, just relax and let freya do her thing. i'm not leaving without klaus." you spoke, turning back to freya.
_
you, elijah, freya and hayley reach the abattoir, underground as you all searched for klaus.
your heart beat out of your chest in anticipation as you tried your best to track down the love of your life. eventually, you all found klaus, and freya stated that it would take time for her to break through the previously-cast spell. hayley allowed freya to channel her power in hopes of breaking klaus free without taking too long.
elijah's vamp-hearing picked up on marcel entering the compound, and he advised freya to keep working on saving klaus, no matter what, before flashing out of there. freya nodded, and you tried to help her as best you could from beyond the spell barrier.
"klaus? c'mon, my love. wake up. we're here," you pleaded over freya's chanting.
hayley followed elijah after hearing him arguing with marcel while you and freya tried everything to wake klaus up. miraculously, klaus awakened as things began to turn sour between elijah, hayley and marcel.
"oh, thank god," you breathed, stroking his cheek gently as he stood up with you and freya. he smiled at you before you all turned your attention to the drama brewing upstairs.
hayley and elijah yelled back and forth with marcel before klaus used the tunde blade to stab marcel. you all fled as quickly as you could, your arm supporting klaus as you zoomed through the tunnel to meet rebekah and kol. rebekah hugged her brother tightly, grateful for his safety.
"we have to go. marcel is right behind us," hayley said, motioning with her hand for all of you to hurry up.
"too late. i'm already here," marcel replied, shocking you all.
eventually, the mikaelson siblings managed to convince marcel to let them flee new orleans, and you all left with your limbs intact. you all piled into the car and made your way over to your and hayley's safe house. the drive was comfortably silent, your hands never leaving klaus's body as you held him close. you were in utter disbelief that he was in your arms again, and you never wanted to let go. not for anything, or anyone.
after the lot of you reached the safe house, everyone left to go inside the house and unwind while you and klaus remained inside.
"i'm so sorry, my love. i can't even begin to imagine what you've been through during these past five years," you said, your hands resting upon his chest as you looked up at him with pure sincerity.
"it doesn't matter. you've all made sacrifices for me throughout the years. it's only fair that i do the same in return for you."
"i missed you, you know that?" you spoke, running your fingers through his tousled curls softly. "i don't know how i've survived these past five years without kissing you."
"well, thankfully, that's all over. i'm never leaving you again," he replied, kissing your forehead as his hand cupped your cheek. "now, please tell me all about my daughter."
"klaus...she's wonderful. she's so intelligent and sweet. she's stunning, and she's the light of our lives. i can't wait for you to meet her."
"take me to her?" he asked, eyes glimmering with hope.
"i will. just let me hold you for a second. i need to remind myself that you're real," you said. you pulled him into your embrace, squeezing tightly as if he would disappear.
"i'm right here, sweetheart. i promise you i'm not going anywhere. never again."
you pulled away, smiling as you looked up at him.
"so...you wanna go inside and meet your daughter?"
Oh my gods yes!!!
Tumblr media
I need more post like this! But I’m glad to be the one writing it! ❤️🖤❤️🖤
The originals: the daughter of Zeus.
Warnings: Death, kinda gore I guess, I don't think there is any cussing for the first time in forever!  cussing. pairing: Elijah Mikaelson x reader word count: 3, 2231 That's a lot of words I think.
"Who is Y/n L/n?" Rebekah asked as she looked at her brother Elijahs phone. "Why are you so nosey?" He asked as he pulled the phone to his chest hiding the screen from his younger sister. "Doesn't matter who is she? Is it someone I need to kill?" "You know who she is."  Elijah looked at his sister with murderous eyes. "If you dare lay a hand on her." He threatened. "Oh you mean this girl?" Klaus asked as he held Y/n up by her neck. "Help- me." You choked out. Elijah looked at his brother with frighten eyes. "Let her go." Elijah told Klaus with a dangerously calm voice. Klaus smirked, and Elijah knew he shouldn't have said that. "Okay." Klaus let go while snaping your neck. Elijah cried out as he jumped up in bed.
"It was just a dream." HE whispers, looking over at the lock on his nightstand flickered a 4:15 am. He sat up against the headboard, trying to calm his racing heart.
Y/n was the woman he had met years ago in (Your home town). She was absolutely flawless. Beautiful Y/s/t skin, amazing bright Y/e/c eyes, long/short y/h/c hair. She was amazingly beautiful. He had recently ran into her in Jackson square a month ago. Since then the two started talking again. *a Few hours later*
Y/n was walking down the french quarter enjoying her day when she heard someone scream. Looking around she seen it was just someone playing. She was always on guard, it was just a bad habit of hers to pay attention to her surroundings. And not like a normal person would pay attention to their surroundings but someone who is paranoid times a hundred. It comes with living for a very long time.
Y/n walked into Rousseau's. Y/n smiled, greeting the blonde perky Barmaid. "What can i get for you?"  She asked with a smile.
"Camille, That's  French isn't? Means Perfect?" Camille smiled and nodded. "You dont look famillar are you knew to town?" camille asked politely. "No, I've been here before. It's just been a very long time since, I've been here." Y/n spoke with a smile on her face. "I'll get a margarita, on the rocks,  please?" Y/n asked nicely, Camille nodded as she spoke, "Alright, I'll get right to it."  Y/n smiled as she waited for her drink to be made.
"Y/n, how are you doing?" Elijah asks as he sits down beside her on the empty bar stool. As she was about to answer Cami came back with Y/ns margarita. "Elijah, you know her?" Elijah nodded. "Yes, I've known her for quite some time." you could hear and see the smile  in his voice.  "Yes, quite a while hasn't it?" Y/n asked with a flirtatious smile.
"Wait is she?" Cami questioned knowingly. Elijah nodded and Y/n quietly giggle. Elijah still didn't know what Y/n truly was. . "Oh.." Cami looked at Y/n curious. "Can I have a bourbon, please?" Elijah asked as an awkward silence filled the air. "Sure, I'll be back."
"So, how are you?" Elijah asked politely, looking at you with his charming smile. Y/n smiled right as she took a sip of her margarita. "Quite well. When a little birdy told me you and your family was back in New Orleans, I couldn't help myself and come visit. It feels like it has been centuries since I have seen you last." Y/n joked, making Elijah chuckle a laugh. "It does seem to be centuries." Elijah continued the joke.
The two continued to talk, just enjoy the comfort of an old "Friend". Elijah updated her on the family even though she knew the met  family didn't like her Elijah had told her about them. So she would politely ask about them, not wanting to be rude. But Elijah always enjoyed talking about his family, but the family didn't like Y/n.
*Home town. 1765*
The L/n were one of the founding families of (Your home town/ or a town of your choice). Y/n was the daughter of Y/f/n and y/m/n. The L/n family were holding a ball for the town. Just to celebrate Y/ns birthday.
Y/n was wearing a light blue ball gown dress. It fit her perfectly showing off all the right things, but in a appropriate way. Your father would die to see how people dressed these days. Her Y/h/c hair was pulled out of her face put into Victorian kinda hair style. She had ruby red lip stick on and she just looked perfect (As always queen ;)
Y/n walked down the stairs, politely greeting the town folk who wished her a happy birthday. She slowly made her way through the crowd, politely reject the boys who asked her to dance. She wasn't a girl who loved big parties, nor the attention she got at the parties. She enjoyed small family get togethers. But ever since they founded the town the L/n family would have  extravagant parties for the entire town.
"My I ask the birthday girl for a dance?" Y/n turned around where the mysterious voice was coming from. Y/n smiled shyly just as she was going to say 'no' the man flashed a breath taking smile. "I guess one can't hurt." She responded with a nod. Elijah smiled as he took her hand walking out to the middle of the dance floor.
"You don't seem to be enjoy your birthday celebration, Lady Y/n." Y/n sighed as she nodded. "Well, it's not that I don't enjoy them. I just feel like after a certain age in life there's no reason to celebrate." Elijah chuckled as he looked at her a bit perplexed. "You're only celebrating your 17 birthday. I don't see how that is a very old age." Elijah said as he spun her around. Y/n nodded as she came back to stand in front of him. "Yes, but to me it does seem like it has been many life times."
Y/n and Elijah had a grand time that night. The two dance, talking about their lives while dancing. When they stopped dancing Elijah introduced Y/n to his siblings. Y/n enjoyed meeting them, though Klaus, Elijah's brother seemed quite skeptical of her. Rebekah began calling Y/n her sister, and Kol well he was Kol, very much a flirt.
Days after the party The mikealson's stayed in town. They were staying as a guest in the L/n family mansion. Y/n's father insisted on them staying. Y/n seemed confused when her father had announced they were staying, but she didn't pay any mind to it.
Y/n had grown use to seeing the mikealson's in her house. She loved when she and Elijah would take a lovely stroll in the garden. The two would talk just about anything, other then about who they really are.
Y/n walking into her house a hand basket full of sweet smelling flowers inside the basket. She laid the basket on the kitchen table. Smiling and humming as she grabbed a clear glass vase, but as she turned around she gasped dropping the vase.  Elijah had appeared out of no where.
"I apologize. I did not intend to spook you." He apologized as he rushed towards her trying to help her pick up the pieces of glass.
"It-t's okay." she stuttered out as she picked up the shards of glass. "Your cut." Elijah says pointing to the dripping blood on her hand. "Oh no, I'm fine. It's just a scratch." She made up as she grabbed a cloth from the counter. Ridding the blood with the cloth she showed him nothing was there, just a tiny scratch. "That's a lot of blood to just be a scratch." He spoke looking thinking maybe she was like him, maybe she was vampire as well.
"Elijah, come on." Rebekah called as she walked into the kitchen. "What's going on?" Y/n asked the blonde. "We're leaving. Did Elijah not tell you?" Rebekah spoke looking between the two. "I was about to, but I scared her making her drop a vase. I was just helping her pick it up." Elijah said as he put the glass in a bowl Y/n had put the glass in.  "Oh, well. I would say your goodbyes quick. Niklaus wants to leave as soon as possible." She said quickly. She gave Y/n a quick hug goodbye, then left the two.
"Well, I guess this is goodbye." She spoke as she walked Elijah to the front door. "Yes, I suppose it is. I do wish to see you again. Maybe, well see each other again in the future." Y/n smiled as she looked at him. Reaching up to him she kissed his cheek. "Its a promise."
Since it was near night time the Mikaelson family decided they were going to stay the night in an empty house in town. Not too far from the L/n mansion. Elijah pasted the living room, upset with his brother about leaving so early. "I don't know what you want me to say, brother. She is just not good for you! There's something about her. It's just not human!" Klaus bellowed towards his brother. "Why do you say that?! Because you think she is taking me away from you?! Because I finally care about someone who isn't family?" Elijah questioned his brother. Klaus rolled his eyes as he took a swig of his whiskey. Elijah huffed as he walked away from his brother. Going to his room for the night. Not feeling the need to talk to him. He was too angry to talk.
"If you feel like she is taking him from us then why don't you do something about it?" Kol spoke looking at his older brother. "What do you suggest I do? Just go up to her house, and murder her?" Klaus asked looking at his brother with a cold look. "It hasn't stopped you before with Rebekah's passed lovers." Kol pointed out as he nodded his head towards Rebekah. Klaus nodded.
Then later on that night as everyone was sleeping Klaus left the house. Quietly, hidden in the darkness of the night, he made his way to the L/n mansion. He quietly made his way up the stairs to Y/n's bed room. She was sound asleep, no lights on in her room, accept for the moon light leaking in from her open window. Klaus quietly walked over to her bed. Grabbing a dagger he had in held it up. He looked at her, she was  utterly exquisite. The way her hair shined in the moon light. "I'm so sorry, love." Just as he brought the knife down to her chest she opened her eyes. Her Y/e/c eyes staring into his blue ones. The dagger went into her chest and she gasped. "W-wh-at a-are yo-ou doi-ng?" She stuttered as blood began to come up. "I can't let you take my brother from me." He whispered, almost as if he was ashamed in what he had just done. She nodded as she looked up at him. "It's okay." She barely got out without stuttering. "I'mm.. I.. not.." Then she stops breathing.
Klaus sighed and tried to stop overthinking. "You did this to keep your family together. She was going to take Elijah away from the Family." He told himself over and over again all the way home.
The next morning they left before anyone could've expected it was them. That was the last time Klaus had seen Y/n. That's when he believed she "Died." But one thing still kept him up at night. What was she saying at the end. She was trying to choke out something but couldn't.
** back to present day.*
"Yes, I do believe that my lovely brother Niklaus tried to kill you." Elijah spoke in a lower voice. "Yes, well he didn't know what I was capable of." Elijah nodded and smiled, just enjoying the company of a "Friend", (The two were secretly together, but didn't want anyone to know. Aka his siblings *Cough Klaus *cough). Hours later the two had to go separate ways. Y/n had business to handle and Elijah had to go home since Klaus called saying he needed his help; which was never a good thing.
"I'll call you tonight?" Elijah asked as he looked down at the shorter woman. She nodded as she kissed his cheek. "Yes." She nodded and with that the two went their ways.
The night continued and Y/n had finished all she had to do for her work. She got an unpleasant text message from Hayley telling her that she was not to talk to Elijah ever again or a lot of bad things were going to happen to Y/n. Then Hayley called Y/n to make sure she would know that she was never going to be with Elijah. (Jokes on her, right?)
She still hadn't gotten a call from Elijah which made her worry. So she gave it an hour before she did anything. By midnight she was out of her house finding going to the Mikaelson plantation  in hopes that Elijah had just forgotten to call or was just a little busy with Klaus.
She quickly arrived at the Mikaelson plantation, it was a complete mess. Glass all over the floor, furniture broken. Something bad happened there. She tried to listen for any sounds in the house, but couldn't hear anything besides a very distant scream.
Running towards the sound she found herself going towards the bayou. It was dark, clouds hiding the once bright moon light. Luckily she found herself able to see. She heard the scream, but this time it was a lot closer.
Y/n quietly, but quickly ran towards the noise. She could see the Mikaelson family surrounded by three giant groups. She could only assume the groups were witches, werewolves, and vampires.
None of the Mikaelson family noticed Y/n lurking in the darkness. She was kind of good at not being noticed, how do you thinks she has lived for thousands upon thousands of years.
Y/n quickly grabbed a hold of a red haired witch breaking her neck then going to three more and doing the same, all while going unnoticed.
Some turned their heads a the sound of a thump, but didn't really know what happened. She smiled as she seen a vampire meet her eyes. She ran towards it as it announced to the others she was there. She like a challenge and there was at least a hundred creatures there in front of.
First three vampires came at her and she smirked. Pulling the hearts out of the first two and taking the heel of her shoe and kicking the third one down to the ground. The two vampires dropped to the ground dead. She took a dead branch from off the ground staking the vampire that lied on the ground.
"This is fun." She spoke with a smirk plastered on her face. Clapping her hands together a giant sound wave came through, throwing them back. Some of the vampires dying from being staked by the branches. Some of the witches were thrown against the trees breaking their necks. Y/n grabbed a stick that had just so happened to be laying beside her. She threw it and it went through two of the witches. Y/n felt an arm wrap around her as someone flung her over their shoulders and slammed her onto the ground. It she was human her spine would've been shattered. She took her leg and kicked the werewolf's knee completely breaking it. She stood up, her hand went through his chest to his heart. "Shouldn't have done that." She spoke with a dangerous glare then ripped his heart out.
She heard the witches begin chanting and she rolled her y/e/c eyes. "Wish that worked on me, but it doesn't."  She said she she rubbed her hands together sparks flying every which way from her hands. "Light 'em up." She thought to herself. Strikes of lighting came out of her hands frying the witches that were left. All that was left was a handful of vamps and werewolves.
"Now, you can either leave alive or you will die." She offered to the two groups. The two groups looked at each other and then back to Y/n. Nobody left so Y/n nodded. "Playing hard to get. Love it." She spoke sarcastically. A blue flamed fire started around the two groups. "My uncle is Hades. And he has taught me a lot. One of those things is how he loves visitors. So when Y'all see him in the underworld, tell him I said hello. The flame ingulfed them quickly killing each of them. After Y/n knew they were dead she put the fire out.
Running over towards Elijah and his siblings she asked, "Are you guys okay?" Completely worried about them. Yet not even out of breath after she had just kill one hundred supernatural creatures. "How in the bloody hell are you still alive?" Klaus whispered as he looked at Y/n.
"I'm not an average person." Y/n answered as she untied the vervain/wolfsbane rope.
"Obviously. How did you do all of that?" Rebekah asked. Y/n was going to answer when the rest of them started asking questions, except for Elijah. He didn't know what she was, but he knew she wasn't a vampire. He thought she was, but now? Now he wasn't sure.
Later that night Y/n and the Mikaelson siblings went back to the Mikaelson plantation house. The Mikaelson siblings got showers getting the blood off of them. Then after they were done they all met up in the living room waiting for an explanation from Y/n.
"I've been alive much longer then the rest of you. I've been alive since the beginning. My father is the god Zeus. He's the god of sky and thunder and the king of all the other gods and goddesses. I've got the powers of pretty much all the gods. I've been taught how to control my powers and sometimes even share them. I don't so Kol don't get any ideas." She told Kol as soon as she seen his face light up.
"Why didn't you tell anyone?" Elijah asked as he took her hands in his.  "Well, because the same reason y'all don't tell people you guys are who you are. I have a great many of enemies. If I go around saying, 'hey, I'm Y/n the demi god, daughter of Zeus, people would think I'm nuts. And my enemies could easily find me." She explained.
"I'm sorry, for all the horrible things I’ve said about you and said to you." Hayley said as she looked at Y/n sincerely.  Hayley was upstairs taking care of Hope. (She had just came back from a friends house out of town).
"I mean we were all terrible to you. And you saved us." Rebekah said looking at Y/n with a look that showed she was truly sorry. "It's okay, I understand where you guys were coming from
. Nothing gets in the way of family." She says with a smile. And then they just sit around in the living room asking her all about the gods and what they're really like. If Percy Jackson was really Poseidon's son, of course he is. Y/n felt like they really did treat her like family afterwards. Each other them brought her in like she was family. No longer seeing her as someone who was trying to break up the family. But as someone who might just bring the family together.
The end*
Tumblr media
wife!hayley marshall x black!wife!reader, step-daughter!hope mikaelson x step-mom!reader
872 words
Tumblr media
you were a bennett witch, bonnie's twin sister to be exact. she was two minutes older than you and she was always claiming the need to protect you ever since grams died. she was now traveling the world with her husband, enzo and you couldn't be more happy for the couple.
you moved to new orleans to help your friend, rebekah who desperately needed your help, saying that 'we need a badass bennett witch and you were the first one i thought of.' that's when you met hayley marshall, the pregnant werewolf. sure, you had your ups and downs but what couple doesn't. being friends with a mikaelson wasn't really easy neither, especially with a tribid baby.
9 months later, the miracle baby was born with name of hope andrea mikaelson and the infant had already gained more enemies than you can count. so you stayed in a house which rebekah compelled for you and hope's parents told you to keep her safe and you did. after all of the madness died down, you were reunited with your girlfriend hayley.
5 years later, hayley popped the question and you obviously said yes. the mikaelsons were there for your wedding, your sister, friends and your nieces. it was a fantastic day which was filled with love, laughter, food. so here, you were now locking hands with your wife, hayley marshall in front of the salvatore boarding school. you came to visit hope and your nieces, it was in the middle of october so you came at a random time that the girls wouldn't except it.
you had some good news, caroline had found a cure for the merge. so she'll back soon to stay for good, hopefully to become the headmaster for this school. walking your way in the school of the supernatural, you were greeted with a dozen of students talking to their friends, from ages 6-18. the hybrid and bennett witch walked in the office but no one was there so you both turned around to leave until you bumped into someone.
“watch where you're, b–“ lizzie cuts herself off when she sees you on the office. she shouted your name before running over to you and hugging you with a huge smile on her face. hugging the blonde gemini witch tightly as you kissed the top of her head.
“i missed you, aunt [name].” she mumbles into the hug, grasping onto you tightly like she didn't want you to let go. you didn't feel hayley's presence anymore knowing that she went to look for hope.
“i missed you too, liz.” you admitted to the blonde saltzman. you pull away from the hug, looking around the office. “where's josie?” and as if on cue, you heard footsteps from the outside of the office no doubt that it could be josie.
“lizzie, mom says that she's coming ba–“ josie says walking into the office not noticing you. “aunty [name]! you're finally here.” her eyes averted to you before running into your arms for a koala hug.
you kissed the older saltzman's twin head. “i missed you too jojo.” josie blushes at the nickname, it always made her feel warm and fuzzy inside. you were josette's best friend until she died on her wedding day, so caroline was the surrogate mother to the twins.
you left mystic falls after josette's funeral, still keeping in touch with your friends and sister. you made two identical necklaces for your nieces telling alaric to give them the necklaces when they're older, it will keep them safe.
after catching up your nieces' lives, you began to search for your wife and daughter. you stumble into a room, luckily hope and hayley were in there looking at dozen of drawing which you assumed were hope's.
“hey mama.” hope said before running over to hug you. your body went paralyzed when your heard the last word that hope had spoken. tears start to swell up in your eyes as hayley looked at you lovingly, the tribid still clinging onto you. your arms wrapped themselves, this was the first time that hope called you 'mama'.
“come on, i wanted to show you the picture i painted of us.” she looked up to see tears in your eyes and she instantly becomes worried, “mama, why are you crying?”
you let out a sniffle covering your mouth, shaking your head slightly. “it's nothing, sweetheart show me the picture.” she smiled, looking over in her pool of drawings and grabs it and hands it to you.
the picture was beautiful and beyond words it can't express. you felt familiar arms wrapped around your waist and you turned to see hayley smiling at you. she gave you a small peck on the cheek before looking down at hope's drawing of you three.
yep, you were happy with your life, you had an amazing wife, a spectacular daughter and nieces, the best twin sister. what more could you ask for.
You are the daughter of the original hybrid and the daughter of a werewolf at first your father didn't want you or for you to be born everything changed when he got talked by his siblings and when you were born, he swore that he would protect you with his own life even If it means risking his life for you
Your mother loved you when she found out that she was pregnant of you at first she didn't want to move in with the Mikaelson but she knew that they had the right to meet you no way she wanted Klaus near you but again he had the right since he is your father and your his daughter
"Why in the hell were you giving my daughter away to crazy Dahlia?" Klaus glares
"I was doing it for my freedom." Freya says Sadly
"By giving my daughter away to Dahlia?" Hayley asks, holding you close to her
"She told me If I wanted my freedom and I said yes, but she told me to give her Y/n and which I almost did but you two came."
"You're lucky that I'm not killing you for trying to give my daughter away for your stupid freedom."
"I'm sorry brother, I did it without thinking since I wanted my freedom I didn't think straight."
"Shut up!"
"I'm taking my daughter away from your family Klaus." Hayley says mad
"You don't have the right to take her away don't forget that she's my daughter as well." Klaus tells hayley
"Well your sister almost gave my daughter away." Hayley tells Klaus
"Our daughter." Klaus corrects hayley
"What's going on here?" Elijah asks
"Just Hayley trying to take my daughter away from the family." Klaus looks at his siblings
"Why is that hayley?" Rebekah asks confused
"I have to because she's around danger and I don't want that she's just a baby she's needs to be protected."
"What's going on?" Kol asks
"Our dear sister tried to give Y/n away to Dahlia For her freedom." Klaus tells his siblings
"Is it truth?"
Freya nodded sadly
"Why would you do that? She's our only niece, she needs to be protected by us and you bring her danger?: Elijah gives his sister a disappointment look
"I know that I was stupid I just wanted my freedom back and believe me, I love my niece Y/n so much I never wanted to bring danger to her Klaus and Hayley I hope you can forget me for doing that."
"I understand, but I can't forget you right now I'm still a little mad and worry."
"I understand."
"sister can you please keep your distance away from Y/n for a while."
"I understand and could I give her a small kiss on the cheek?"
"Sure."
Freya gives you a kiss on your cheek, "I'm sorry believe me, I love you and I would protect you hopefully later on your parents would let me be near you."
Hellooooooo sorry to bother you but I have to request one of Hayley Marshall we’re she is pregnant with a second child with Klaus and Hope is so happy to be a big sister and don’t leave her mother said
A Second Miracle
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Baby sister reader x Hope Mikaelson (plus Hayley + Klaus)
Warnings: nothing, just pure fluff
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hayley and Klaus are sat on the couch, Hope on her dad's lap. "Momma's having a baby?" Hope has a smile on her face. Her parents had just told her how she's going to be a big sister.
"Mhm, in four months" Hayley grinned, showing Hope the baby bump that she's been hiding from her and all her aunts and uncles.
Ever since her parents gave her the news of the pregnancy, Hope's been with Hayley.
Hope's cuddling against Hayley's side, her head resting against her chest. "Is it a girl?" She asks, wide curious eyes looking up at the hybrid.
"We don't know yet, but we will soon" Hayley smiles, placing a kiss on the six year old's forehead.
"You better be a girl" Hope bends her head down to Hayley's bump and whispers.
Hayley smiles, shaking her head, being able to hear what she was saying. She wraps an arm around her daughter, cuddling her.
Hope holds her Daddy's hand as they walk out of the bakery. They walked to the bakery that's 5 minutes away from the abboiter, getting a box of beignets.
When they get back home, they walk into the library where Hayley is seated on the dark leather couch. Her right hand resting on her large 9 month bump as her other hand is holding her book up.
Hope immediately let's go of Klaus' hand and runs over to her mommy. She climbs onto the couch and gives Hayley a cuddle. Hayley puts her book down, hugging the six year old back.
"Hey baby girl, what have you two been up to?" She smiles, having noticed that there weren't interruptions from her book by either the excited daughter or overbearing and protective father.
"We thought you might want something sweet. Considering the grumbling you were giving the pantry" Klaus smirks at the he receives from Hayley for the last statement.
He walks over, opening the box to Hayley. She grabs one of the beignets for herself and passes one to Hope. "Thank you. And I'm going to pretend you didn't already have loads of sugar with your father" Hayley sends a pointed look to the two other people in the room.
Hope giggles as she bites into hers, meanwhile Klaus has a faux offended look on his face.
Hayley smirks before biting into her own beignet, moaning at how good actual sugar tastes. Ever since Elijah went shopping for food, all she's seen have had the word healthy on the label or something around those lines.
Hope smiles, used to her mommy and daddy bickering. She leans against the baby bump. She can't wait till she has someone else to endure these times with and to play with. Uncle Kol, Auntie Freya, and her can teach her little sister how to make flowers bloom, and how much fun it is to be a witch.
She doesn't care if everyone keeps telling her there's a chance it can be a boy. She knows it's going to be a girl, she's going to have a little sister!
Hayley sits on her and Klaus' bed, you in her arms.
In good news, there wasn't any horrible birth where she died, and was in immense pain. It went a lot smoother this time around. Even if getting pregnant wasn't planned...again.
Hope crawls onto the bed, a bright smile on her face. She knew she was going to be getting a baby sister.
"Y/n" she whispered, kissing your forehead gently.
"Mhm, that's right. You're officially a big sister, baby girl" Hayley kisses Hope's forehead. She snuggles into her Momma's side, finger curling around your tiny hand. She watches as your small hand wraps around it. Her smiles grows bigger than before.

03| The Tribrid
Pairing: Klaus Mikaelson x daughter!reader Summary: After you find out your father is having and embracing another child, you think life can't get any worse... but you were wrong. Warnings: this gets angsty, kids Words: 2.9K
Masterlist | Part 4
Tumblr media
I felt a tidal wave of different emotions. Shock, sadness, fear, and for some reason, anger. My heart sank to my stomach as I tried to process the information.
Until I realized I couldn't. Elijah and werewolf girl were right in front of me. So I shook it off, if that's the way you'd phrase it, and blinked. "You're Klaus' wife?"
Both Elijah and the werewolf cringed. "Ew, no." She made a gagging noise. "I just slept with him once in a moment of- absolute stupidity." Ew. She shook her head and pointed at me. "I just realized I don't know your name- I'm Hayley."
She did the whole 'hold out your hand for a hand shake thing' I already did with Elijah, but I still shook her hand and replied, "Y/N."
Elijah, who looked both vaguely confused and amused, cut in and pointed to us both, "Pardon me, but how, exactly, do you two know each other?"
Something happened in Hayley's eyes before she answered like she was choosing what to say. She glanced at me and then said, "I met her the other day. I spilled my tea on her at the café."
My brow rose at the lie, but I didn't say anything. I just shrugged and reckoned, "Small world." Hayley's eyes met mine in a thankful expression and I subtly nodded at her before smiling at both of them. "I better get back to the party." I nodded to all the people. "Nice meeting you both- well, formally meeting you, Hayley."
Elijah gave a two-fingered wave that looked almost like a peace sign, but it was too refined looking to be categorized that way. "It's been a pleasure, Y/N." In his eyes, I saw a bit of recognition flash, but it was gone too quickly for me to register.
I turned around and began walking. I didn't really see what I was doing, I was just too focused on trying not to speed out of the building. My mind and my heart raced to see who could move faster and I was beginning to feel like I couldn't breathe.
When I ended up in another hallway, I sped into a room and closed the door without caring who saw me. Immediately, I pressed against it and everything that I'd just repressed in that conversation came rushing back to me in a flood.
Klaus Mikaelson is having a baby.
My father is having a baby.
I felt like I wanted to cry, and scream, and tear my hair out but I spent way too long doing my hair earlier to even run my hands through it right now. I exhaled, trying to calm myself down. But then another thought came rushing to me. I just met Elijah Mikaelson. God, could this day get any weirder?
The answer to that is yes. Yes, it could. Because I looked up and, staring right back at me, was the Klaus Mikaelson.
I couldn't stop my jaw from actually dropping this time. I was too shocked to even say anything.
He stepped closer to me and it was like I was frozen. He kept walking closer and closer until he was right in front of me. I couldn't keep my eyes off his because, my God, I have never been so close to him before and his eyes look just. like. mine.
He seemed to see the same thing I saw because, for a second, his blank expression was broken by a small look of curiosity. And, for a second, I wondered if he realized it.
And, for a second, I realized how sad it was that I've been on this planet for five hundred years, and this is the first time I've ever seen my father. And he still doesn't know it.
As he picked me apart with this gaze, there was so much I wanted to say, so much I thought I was over. I'm your daughter, I wanted to blurt out. I wish I had the courage to say it out loud, but there were so many thoughts I had that fought against that.
Her voice echoes throughout my head. Your father wouldn't love you, Y/N.
And with that thought, I close myself off as I'd done many times already. I pushed all my feelings down and pretended harder than I ever had to before, because I don't think I've ever felt anything like this.
I broke eye contact, looking around the room. Canvases sat on easels and drawings and paintings alike lined the walls. I was half stunned by the beauty of the artwork around me. The other half of me was stunned that, just my luck, I'd stumbled into Klaus' studio.
Fuck me.
When I looked back up at him, I didn't have any trouble speaking or looking him in the eye, because I promised myself I wouldn't. Y/N Mikaelson may have been scared to death, but Y/N Y/L/N wasn't; she was a badass tribrid who wasn't afraid of anything.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to intrude." He looked a little surprised when I spoke. Why, is an answer I don't have. "I wandered off by accident, just needed some air away from the crowd."
Klaus hummed and his lips upturned in a small, unexpected smile. "Yes, I quite understand that feeling." Oh my God, he's talking to me. He held his hand out. "I'm Klaus," he said, as if I, of all people especially, wouldn't know that.
I reluctantly shook his hand, hoping to God he wouldn't pick anything up with the contact but, luckily, even after I let his hand go, he looked the same. But I'd never know, I suppose; maybe he was just as good at pretending as I was.
"And you must be Y/N," he stated. I stood up straighter. "I've been expecting you."
What?
I controlled my breathing as I waited for his response.
"You're the person that saved the mother of my child yesterday." A large breath would've left me if it wasn't totally obvious. He turned around and started walking. "You snapped a brute's neck, and then," he spun back around, "you left her there with his dead body, knowing he could awaken any second." His tone was less soft now, more accusatory.
Finally, I thought. He was beginning to act like the man I've heard about.
So why was I still so surprised?
I squinted my eyes slightly. "No, actually," I corrected, "I knew he wouldn't wake up in the time it'd take for someone to get to her."
His voice was sardonic. "And how could you predict such a thing?"
Using magic, I itched to say, but instead I said, "Life experience," and left it at that. Klaus didn't look like he believed me, but you gotta admit, that's a quip any vampire would use.
He hummed again, but this time, it was less agreeing and more sarcastic. This definitely wasn't how I imagined this happening.
Even if he didn't believe me, he left it alone because, next thing you know, he's moved on from the topic with not even as little as a thank you for saving his pregnant werewolf.
"So you're a friend of Marcel's?" Well, the motherfucker can eavesdrop. He tilted his head slightly, almost as if he was interested, but I knew better than that, and I had a feeling he knew I knew that, too.
I kept it simple. "Yeah, I've known him for a while."
"Hmmmmmmm," he hummed longer before getting straight to the point, "And were you here, with him, in the entirety of knowing him? Because I heard your conversation with my brother and you look awfully familiar to me, as well." Oh, if I wasn't a vampire, I already know I'd be screwed because my heart would be beating rapidly right now.
He continued, "And I couldn't have seen you with Marcel because, according to your conversation with the saxophone player, you haven't been in New Orleans for a while." He's been watching me? "And I definitely did not see you with him in years prior because I did not even know he was alive."
I came to a mental block on what to say; I felt like I was on trial. But, like always, I tried to keep the storm brewing inside of me as exactly that: inside. On the outside, I was calm and collected, and knew what to say.
That calm and collected version of me walked forward so I wasn't backed into the wall, making myself look more confident than I actually felt at that moment. Klaus' brow raised again, like he expected me to cave in on myself, but I did the exact opposite and shrugged, suggesting, "You must have seen me around somewhere else, then. I've been alive a couple hundred years and, well, the vampire world is a smaller world than it's made out to be, isn't it?"
Klaus just blankly stared at me in response; not for too long, though, because eventually, just like with Elijah, I saw something pass through his eyes, but it was gone before I could even grasp it. His lips tilted into a fake smile as he agreed, "Yes, I suppose so." Lie.
We both stood there in silence for a few seconds before I cleared my throat. "Well, I better get going and make sure Marcel hasn't gotten into any trouble." I smiled, but he could probably tell just as well as I could that there wasn't any authenticity to it.
He nodded, and I couldn't have been out of that room faster. I didn't stop to look at the expression on his face, didn't stop to look at the artwork in the room or didn't even stop to think. I just walked as fast as I could and didn't stop, even when I reached the courtyard. I didn't stop until I was outside completely to even breathe.
Panic bubbled in my chest, but I stuffed it back down. I'd let my guard down mere minutes earlier and look it where it got me, in the same room, alone, with my father who I've never met.
Let's not forget that said meeting was caused by me running off from my uncle and the werewolf pregnant with my sibling.
What the actual fuck.
What's next, fucking grandma and grandpa come back from the grave? Would I be surprised at this point?
Why couldn't I have just stayed in New York? New York was simple; it was easy, it didn't require me to dig into my past or think about the family that was ignorant to my existence.
And now I'm here. I've met my father, something I've both dreamed and had nightmares about for my entire life. Half of me is content with having met him, but the other half wishes it never happened.
Tears welled in my eyes, but I blinked them away.
Don't you dare cry, Y/N. You cry later. You need to be strong right now.
I blinked faster until I didn't feel the wetness in my eyes anymore and exhaled before I walked back into the Abbatoir in search of Marcel. I didn't feel like meeting another family member right now, so I'd like to leave ASAP, actually.
I found him talking up a broad in the corner and made my way over to him. My mind went to Camille immediately, but I shook that thought off. Cami didn't know  about all this stuff and, besides, her and Cellie weren't a thing so it didn't matter.
I stopped when I was right next to the blonde he was talking to and his eyes met mine. I didn't bother looking at the girl, instead giving Marcel a look that I hoped he was able to understand. "I'm heading out now. You coming or what?"
He opened his mouth like he was gonna answer one thing but closed it as if he thought different. "Uh, go without me," he mumbled over the music. "I'll see you tomorrow."
I nodded, leaning forward to kiss his cheek in goodbye. I waved. "See you then." And then I walked away, waiting until I was outside the slaughter house to speed to my house, not in the mood for a stroll through the Quarter.
The actions of me unlocking my door all the way to me undressing and falling into bed were a blur. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I felt the tears I'd been holding in leak out of my eyes.
The tears burned my skin like they were tiny shards of glass, my shoulders shaking like I was cold, but really I felt so hot that I could explode. The same way, even though I was crying like I was sad, I was actually angry.
I was so angry that this was what my life was like. I was so angry that I've never had family experiences. I was so angry that they'd all gotten a thousand years together and I was just thrown to the side. And it made me feel horrible that I was so angry about Klaus fathering another kid when he didn't even know about me.
I was so angry that I wished the tears running down my face were tiny shards of glass, 'cause maybe then the pain inside could've been drowned out by that.
As a vampire- hell, even as a werewolf, I could escape physical pain. But everything on the inside was still there. As hard as I tried to pretend, that girl on the inside that worried and whose heart raced- I could never escape her.
A sob left my lips at that thought.
And I cried until I couldn't cry anymore and fell asleep.
THIRD PERSON, EARLIER
Marcel stood with Rebekah in a corner of the Abbatoir, a hard expression on his face while she leaned against a pillar and crossed her arms. In his eyes, she turned against him, but in hers, she was putting her family first.
Putting her family first meant pulling him aside to scold him on why he'd attend a Mikaelson event, knowing he was on Klaus' hit list. To Rebekah, Marcel had a death wish.
But Marcel had pride, just like Niklaus, and even just like herself. And that pride that she had was perhaps the real reason why she'd pulled him aside in the first place: because of his human girlfriend.
To Marcel, Rebekah didn't give a damn about him, just like Klaus. So that's why, instead of flirting per usual, they instead stared at one another with uncertainty they couldn't see.
Breaking their stare-contest was a blonde that came over and called Marcel's name. Both of their heads whipped around, but the blonde's gaze was directed entirely at Marcel as if she were purposefully ignoring Rebekah, making her narrow her eyes.
As soon as the girl came over, she'd captured Marcel's attention completely. "I'm heading out now," she stated. "You coming or what?"
So they came together, Rebekah thought, as she analyzed the girl. Although she was blonde, she was not Camille. Who the hell is she?
But the longer she stared, the more questions she came up with, questions that steered away from Marcel entirely because Rebekah realized that this girl looked so oddly familiar.
Almost like herself.
Marcel glanced at his ex-girlfriend momentarily, as if remembering she was there, before looking back to the girl and muttering that she could go without him.
The girl nodded and kissed his cheek, forcing Rebekah's to tense. And without a single glance in her direction, she left.
The Mikaelson stared after her as she maneuvered through the crowd until she was no longer visible, turning to Marcel to see him already looking at her.
If she wasn't a thousand years old, perhaps she'd be blushing.
She smiled artificially like it didn't bother her, brushing a lock of hair away from her face. "And that was...?"
He scoffed. What gives her the right to act like we're together? He questioned to himself, but there was a long list of things he'd probably never say out loud to Rebekah. "That was a friend," he emphasized, "a friend who was there for me after you and your family left me to burn in the Opera House-"
She groaned, breaking her calm composure. "Bloody hell, Marcel, when are you going to let go of that one? I thought we were past it-"
"I'm not past anything." He gave her a steely glare, both of them silent for a moment before he fixed his blazer and spoke. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I actually have better things to be doing right now."
Rebekah resisted a scoff as he walked away from her, towards the crowd. She didn't understand him. God, he frustrated her almost just as much as Niklaus did.
With the thought of her brother, her mind drifted back to the woman that'd just left before Marcel did. She tried her best to reimagine her face in her mind. She was distracted, though, by Hayley coming up to her and talking to her about her brother. And just like that, the girl from earlier disappeared from Rebekah's mind completely.
But maybe, just maybe, if she'd thought about it a little longer, then she would have realized that the blonde talking to Marcel looked just like her. That she looked like her once best friend, Klaus' lover.
Maybe she would've realized that the girl was a Mikaelson.

As the full moon reached its peak upon Italy's forests,  frogs croaking in an unsynchronized harmony, the deer crouched into hiding as the wolves howled and hunted through the night. Amidst the natural chaos a woman appeared clinging to the torso of an elven-like creature. She wore strange clothes for this time, jean's and leather jackets. Upon her back was strapped a sword, one she promptly pulled to arms and with a snarl she attacked the elven-like creature managing to push her blade to the hilt into its right shoulder before it had the chance to blast her with its strange glowing magic. Using her strength the young woman kicked the creature squarely in its stomach, which resulted in it sliding clean off her blade and onto the forest floor. As the creature writhed on the ground in agony, Y/N brought her iron blade up to deliver the final blow only to be blasted halfway across the forest. Disoriented from her fall, the creature took the opportunity to retreat into the forest canopy to lick its wounds knowing it was now no match against such a powerful witch that wielded its one weakness. After all it had a mission to complete.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Dawn was slowing approaching as Y/N stumbled upon a pool. The village was not too far to the west, and Y/N decided to bathe herself before she followed that familiar pull towards her father. Quietly casting an illusion around her surroundings to ensure privacy, Y/N stripped off her clothes and waded into the deep end. Using her body wash she scrubbed the night's trek away as she thought back to the events that brought her here.
For months they had battled monster after monster sent by Malivore in his quest to become whole once more. That all ceased the day she woke up inside of Triad’s secret faculty with vague memories of how she had gotten there. She had lost someone important to her that she knew. Malivore that taken this feeling away from her, one that connected her to her humanity, one that gave her hope. And it still hurt to think about, no matter what she couldn’t brush this lingering feeling of empty from her soul. Nights were always the worst, she’d fall asleep in her bed and awaken the next day naked in the forest. Each time further and further away from school, her wolf was longing for someone who no longer existed on this plane and there was nothing to be done about it. Eventually, the days awaking in the woods stopped and eventually her wolf strayed so far into her she could no longer call upon her hybrid abilities. Her aunt Freya and uncle Kol assured her it must be her guilt over Klaus and Haley’s death manifesting itself. Losing both her parents and alpha in such quick succession with no time to properly grief either, caused her wolf to pull away from the surface and for the time being lied dormant until the day she healed.
It wasn’t only her wolf that laid disenfranchised, there were many days she found herself ordering two milkshakes with no explanation. So many days she found herself calling for someone to pass her a towel because she forgot it once again. Many days in potions class she found herself extremely irritated at her lab partner because he did not crush the fangs into a fine dust to finish off the healing draught, because Aunt Freya a master at her craft taught her that exact method to attain the perfect long-lasting potion.
Again it's not like Lizzie of all people could have read her mind with a glance in dueling classes, and have the perfect spell at ready as she fake attacked to draw her opponents attention away from the sneak attack, exactly like uncle Elijah taught.
Why did she think she could read her mind at a glance?
Y/N pushed those feelings deep down inside her. She would not let her emotions compromise her, they would make her weak and vulnerable. In a time where she was out of place,a time where the Brotherhood came into power Y/N would not risk being weak but she would be careful. Being on trial and burnt was the last thing she needed, sure she would come back as a vampire, but that would ensure a series of problems Y/N did not need.
Pushing her thoughts down, Y/N waddled towards the banks to dry herself. Pulling on the red medieval dress, one of the few supplies the headmaster had given to her after they hatched a plan to piggyback on the creature. They had caught wind of Malivore’s plans thanks to a spell which temporary linked the young tribrid to the golem. She went looking for her missing link and she came out traumatised at the plans brewing in the creature’s mind. Immediately her family had jumped into action, they had tried to kill the creature but the ritual was at its completion and Y/N had no choice but to jump to plan B.
A plan which saw Y/N piggybacking on the creature’s magic to follow it back in time. Once there the creature would require time to revitalise itself, a process which involved gorging itself on the hearts of children. Y/N would lay in wait for Davina and Alaric at a natural spring formation which connected both past and present.
Using a spell to simply cast an illusion upon her out of place duffle and sword, the young woman pulled on her cloak and sat waiting, for the moon was nearing its peak.
The winds picked up and for a moment in time everything halted as the winds picked up once again even more furiously than ever, and the water swirled within itself creating a whirlpool, it was like nature itself was at war. In the midst of the panic a glowing line cut seamlessly through the air over the freshwater springs, unnatural lightning crackled across the skies as the power of the heretic coven pierced through the veil of time.
Through that her surrogate father Alaric Saltzman and her aunt Davina Mikaelson stepped through. Both dressed in time appropriated grabs. Davina sported a purple gown similar in style to hers but with a large stripe of white decorated with black butterflies down her front and a golden belt clinching the waist. Alaric was dressed quite similar to Dracula? Y/N furrowed her brows "why are you dressed as Dracula?, that is such a cliche and negative stereotype you know."  "What I think the Cape really brings it together!" Alaric responded smartly.
 "Alright you two, don’t forget why we are here, my niece might be literally seconds away from being wiped from existence."
Both Alaric and Y/N turned and nodded grimly towards Davina. Alaric spoke first, "Davina is right, we need to find the location of the Mikaelson Mansion and lie low, the fay will find them soon." "Of course, let's go kill that son of a bitch" Y/N spoke as she marched forward wielding her sword in hand literally giving off big dick energy as she went.
“Ummm Alaric, why a mansion?, the Mikaelsons are running from Mikael don’t you think they might be hiding out in a cave in the woods or even an underground lair!” Alaric paused thinking back he replied, “Oh come on, have you ever seen medieval movies? The bad guys love to shack up in high towers, besides Klaus was never one for subtly.” “Reminds you of someone”, Davina smirked watching Y/N hack away at branches in her path.
Woah, woah! Alaric responded as he jogged around Y/N halting her in her movements and shooting him a mixture of confusion and glares. "We are new to this village,Y/N we can't just march into the village ready to kill. That would cause serious repercussions for us.
Alaric is right, that's why I came with a plan, Davina spoke, "We will pose as a couple and their godchild moving to a new town." Well that certainly makes a lot more sense Y/N spoke as they walked towards the village. I mean no one would beIieve I’m your child,I look nothing like neither of you two. So I guess we are going to be the Saltzman’s.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Y/ N settled into the horse drawn carriage, Alaric had acquired it by trade as part of there cover story. There bags were illusioned to look like trunks.Y/N would play the part of the abused daughter whom ran away with her godparents to have a better life in Italy. Y/N was very much thankful for the language spell Lizzie and Josie cast on them in able to understand old Italian.
As they neared the village centers, Y/N shivered as she felt the familiar bond between father and child grow. Alaric stopped the carriage at an opened inn, the address he had gotten from the trader. They received many curious looks, some were filled with distrust and others with blatant disregard. What the futuristic trio didn't realize was they had landed themselves in a village that would soon be filled with vampire hysteria. The Brotherhood had already arrived, although Y/N knew they would be in this time none expected them to be in this village as yet. They would be in for quite a surprise later that evening.
As the Saltmans settled into their temporary quarters, Davina ordered an early lunch before the trio set to navigate potential escape routes and trails.
The trio ate lunch in a solemn silence, Hope could feel her stomach churning as the anxiety and pressure began to set it. In a short while she would reunite with her father and it was a scary thought. Y/N had never seen her father this way, deep in his blood driven craze of whoring and murdering. The least bit of slip ups could possibly leave her heartless or with her head rolling. This would be particularly hard as Y/N shared many of her father’s worst traits, but that did not mean she did not gain good traits from him. They were both too close in personalities and while this led to a great and close bond with Klaus, the fallouts were as to be as expected disastrous.
Y/N was pulled out of her reverie as the horrified screams and murmurs of the village crowd. Y/N had wanted to rush towards the scene but Alaric’s grip on her wrist tightened. Turning to him confunded, Alaric did nothing but nudge his head towards a scene which nearly brought Y/N to her knees if only Davina did not act quickly to support her a hand gripped firmly around her waist.
Standing just off to the edge of the crowd was her father and uncle Elijah. Y/n felt her breathing slowing down as the tears welled in her eyes. The familiar tug in her heart pulled harder as the moment she dreamt about for days was within her very reach. All Y/n had to do was take a few steps to her right and lunge herself into his familiar and comforting embrace. The very one which drove away the monsters under her bed, the gentle embrace of a longing father and a broken daughter. Y/N could not resist and as she took the first step forward to do that very same thing, unexpectedly no other than her Alexander, the leader of the Brotherhood stepped into focus. Smiling upon her with a sinister smile one that looked down upon her. Not one to squirm under pressure Y/N squared her shoulders and smirked that devious Mikaelson smile, one that meant no good to most and endless loyalty to the right few. Alexander felt himself squirming under the intensity of the witches glare, but he did not choose his battles well as he continued to glance her way often with a look of concern and distrust.
As Alexander engaged her “parents” Klaus and Elijah took notice as they themselves felt the sudden need to surge forward and protect the little girl that seemed to be locked in a heated battle of wills with his sister’s newest flavour. Klaus in particular felt the need to throw himself in front of the  pup and lay his immortal life down for her. Klaus frowned at his thoughts, why would he ever think to protect a stranger? Was it the way she seemed to refuse to back down from a challenge or maybe it was the emotions she wore on her face. A face which Klaus imagined could easily passed for his child, From her heart-shaped face down to those blue eyes and blonde hair. It was a face which held pain, anguish and suffering behind that perfect mask of vacancy and her eyes, oh her eyes showed her strength and empowerment. This perfect mask, one that tugged on his own heartstrings, what kind of monster could ever inflict such pain on such a lovely soul. Klaus had to restrain himself from carrying her away, he wanted nothing more than to scoop his pup up and whisk her away where none but himself could reach her.
TO BE CONTINUED.
