Perhaps it's because Alastor understands that on some level this proves him wrong, sinners are not beyond hope, there is a chance to be better, and that's bad for him because it's easy to revel and wallow in being an evil monster when there's no hope of being anything else, but when there isn't, well, that means Alastor might have to face who he is and what he's done

Alternatively, Al wants to be a horrible monster, feared hated and infamous, and if he becomes some kind and benevolent person, even to just those he considers friends, it's a chip in his reputation and the persona he wants to be seen as

Or perhaps Al's breakdown is because if he cares about anyone, then that's a weakness someone can exploit, another string holding him back, something he's desperate to not have

So we all know Valentino and his strange saliva, that pinkish liquid that drools out his mouth

We also know that whenever Valentino kisses someone his saliva is transferred into their mouth too, which is seen in Poison (not explicitly), and when Valentino kisses Vox

Now before Stayed Gone began, Vox is talking with Valentino completely clean

And then right when the song begins, vox emerges again and THERE IS THE SALIVA. VOX HAD A 'Goodluck baby boy' KISS OF ENCOURAGEMENT TO SING HIS DISTRACK

Not EVEN to mention how Vox is seen with his saliva a LOT, like at the end of Poison. LOOK AT VOX WHEN HE SEES ANGEL, his smile drops and he teleports away. He's a jealous lil man like VOX IS SO NEEDY FOR VALENTINO HE NEEDS KISSES ALL THE TIME

Hear me out !

What if Valentino owned the tower before Velvette and Vox joined the "team". That would explain the ball-gag sign behind the 3 V's on the tower. What if that tower also had the XXX sign, but they cut the X's in half, making it into 3 V's.

I can imagine that Valentino earns a lot of money on his porn and drugs, to own a tower as big as this one. Also it screams his vibes in a way. There are way more shades pink than blue or red.

We've also seen in the pilot that Valentino doesn't has a clue about the worth of money as Angel stated he can't even count 3 bills. I bet he has no clue about the amount of money that appears on his bank account.

What if, Vox saw how wealthy Valentino was, but also how incapable of managing it. What if he told Valentino, how to get even richer, how to deal with things and also to invest in Vox's company. Maybe Valentino is the reason that Vox is now a powerful overlord, because of investing in Vox-tech.

So one thing i noticed is that we only see Alastor fold his ears when he is under really extreme duress, literally scared and distressed to such degree that he physically cannot control it anymore.

He probably learned how to suppresses the natural movement of his ears. Most likely because how easy it would make to read his emotions (in the same principle of always smiling to hide his real emotions) and how much of a weakness he sees that as.

Lets look at all the times we was Alastar's ears fold:

The time when he messed with MUCH MORE powerful than him King of Hell and Lucifer shrunk him (I guess???), making him very powerless and vulnerable for that time.

And after Adam defeats him:

And there is only ONE SINGLE time we see him fold his ears when he isn't under extreme stress or fear.

Its when he is with Rosie in cannibal town. He is only mildly annoyed there and his ears still fold down. The only reasonable conclusion is that he feels safe enough with Rosie to relax his grip over his own body language.

HE FEELS SAFE ENOUGH WITH HER TO LET HIMSELF SHOW A POTENTIAL WEAKNESS!!!

The image of Alastor's smile being bound by stitches gave me a theory about how his arc will conclude if he's on the path to redemption.

My theory starts with the idea of the stitches being a byproduct of whatever deal he made, and that he can't talk about the deal to anyone, meaning even if he wanted help with his deal, he couldn't say a word about it

It's such a horrific reality to live, and I can only think about how poetic it is for Alastor to have his free will so thoroughly revoked like that

I mean, in an earlier episode we saw how Alastor exercises control over the souls he owns (like Husk's) so it seems an appropriate punishment for him to be subjected to the same treatment

And that's where my theory kind of begins

This whole situation with his deal puts him in the position to start developing empathy by making him experience what he puts other people through

He gets to experience the same kind of helplessness he subjects others to, and it may even lead to him wanting to make amends with those he wrongs

Which could be a fun way to develop his dynamics with Husk. I mean, what better way for Alastor to start earning his redemption than by apologizing to Husk and freeing his soul?

Something that I’ve noticed before is just how similar Charlie’s demon form looks to the design we’ve seen so far for Roo (with the eye color, eye lines, the black and red giant hand thing she does…), and while listening to Epic the Musical, Scylla came on and it reminded me of Roo so much and got me thinking about the potential of her character more and THEN it got me thinking about a new random theory that’s just crackpot enough that it could have basis… that Roo is Lilith and Lucifer’s first born rather than Roo being Eve?

I don’t know if anyone has had this thought yet so do for sure let me know if so! I’d love to see what they said! Maybe she was created in Eden, when Lucifer was still an Angel and Lilith a was still a human, and it probably had something to do with the tree and the apples, and maybe this child turning out so very… wrong, you could say, is the reason Lilith and Luci waited so many more years before having another kid? Just a crazy thought but who knows! Maybe it’s got some merit! Maybe I’m on the right track! 😆

I usually keep myself from writing too much on the internet, but I feel like pointing out one thing about our beloved, psychopathic deer.

Alastor is such a rare case of incredibly well done representation in media, his orientation actually improves the character tenfold - and all because it improves the plot itself.

Imagine for a millisecond that you don’t know anything about Hazbin and look at those screenshots. What’s one of the first things that come to mind? "The strawberry pimp probably wants to seduce this girl, whoever she may be. She looks younger and not very comfortable in this situation, yet is allowing him or has to agree to be treated this way."

But now, we know that’s not the case. And I doubt that Charlie would allow someone get this close to her if she had a hunch that they might do it for lustful reasons, had they resources to save her hotel or not (yeah, I don’t actually buy that "I’d do anything!"…). And yet! Alastor’s an exception, all because she knows that one scenario goes out the window. She knows she can *trust* him that he doesn’t do anything out of pure lechery. It creates that one thread of safety she can hold on to when assessing the situation.

And I love that. I love that we can cross out one dull and severely overdone scenario. That we know that even though Alastor is sketchy af, we all can *trust* him to have deeper, darker, selfish, cruel, tragic reasons. Oh, the paradox of trusting the trickster even when we know he should not be trusted. That’s like a cherry on a cake.

Ok here’s my theories, plz be nice 🫶🏻

•Carmilla Carmine is/was an angel who fell in love with someone who was hellborn, she sired 2 children who couldn’t enter heaven so she “jumped” and chose to stay in hell with her daughters.This would explain her expansive knowledge on angelic weapons and the way that angels fight.

•Rosie and the cannibals (great band name) are NOT hellborn. They were part of elite society in the very late 1800s/very early 1900s

Who paid for the procurement of people to be eaten just because they could.

Alternate theory

Rosie and the cannibals were part of the donner party in the 1840s (unlikely since Vivienne has said she wanted to stay away from historical tragedies).

Rosie is a fallen angel since she has the same marking on her neck as vaggie, lute and the rest of exterminators.

•Vox was the cut throat owner of a leading tv manufacturing brand in the 50s and died of a seizure/heart attack due to a methamphetamine addiction.

This could explain his violent and erratic behaviour, mood swings etc and his thirst for power in the show. This also ties in to the “buffering” he experiences in the show which happens when he gets very intense, possibly a mirror image of his death as when you take meth you become very intense and if you overdose you can have seizures and/or heart attacks. He also has a squiggly line under the wifi signal on his head which looks similar to a reading on a heart monitor which could also mean he died of a heart attack.

•Lilith owns Alastors soul. Lilith has been gone for 7 years and Alastor has returned after 7 years possibly meaning that she used him to get to heaven ? I think alastor sold his soul to Lilith in order to become “the radio demon”.

•Mimzy is loosely based on Mae West.

I do know that it was said that Rosie “didn’t die” however this was a while ago and definitely could have changed along with VAs, character design, background stories etc 🫶🏻

Yall know how alastor in his demon form takes in a more wendigo pose?

Well funny thing. When someone is "turning into a wendigo" they tend to go crazy and fully transform when they "eat the flesh of human"

The only way to kill a wendigo is fire to melt their ice hearts.

Also. We know alastor is off putting and rather cold.

Wendigos tend to have " icy heart has led many to believe that burning the Wendigo could kill it."

I think alastor never ate humans generally only deer and bunnies and rabbits and stuff like that.

I think alastor only killed people that were bad.

And lost it after that.

And when he killed his victim I nthe woods. He was tempted to eat them this time.

And he did and while that happened? A hunter shot him confusing him for a deer. And dogs mauled him while blood was on his face and he was probably smiling. It'd made his character more creepy.

Maybe he made a deal with someone and In the contract he couldn't stop smiling.

Or maybe he was so insane when he died and first arrived he used a vodoo doll of him and stitched the mouth into a smile.

But im aware wendigos used to never be deerish animals, but seeing how vivzie (idk if I spelled that right) never actually changes the character or looks at something. She never digs deep in the lore. Like how alastor is a black man from Louisiana. And is supposed to look like a talkshow host in the 30s. But his design doesn't look like his backstory. So it's possible she looked into wendigo Lore but never digged deep.

Ok so to start this off, don't be put off by this person's perspective, just listen to me. Vivzie talked to this fan at megacon and got asked if Adam was still alive, all she said was "he lives on in a way", I'm gonna take my delulu aside and the most pessimistic guess would be that someone (pfff lute obviously)avenges him or that his death has an everlasting impact that changes the story, BUT we already got that made clear, like that was pretty obvious already.

(It's made obvious by this scene, Adam's death created a whole other big problem)

(Unless what she means by it is that his death is honored? Like maybe we get to delve deeper into his history, but again i dont think so) SO I DONT THINK THATS IT, I feel like if it was either of the ones I mentioned she would just say "Nope, he's deceased BUT he lives on in a way" But ALL she said was "He lives on in a way" which is very different, although it could be she expressed herself badly or the person writing the tweet didn't quote it word for word. But taking it in the literal sense, this might be pretty much confirmation he lives. There's a way he lives right? So considering that.... could it be that after Lute took his halo,(which was also broken which often renders an angel as "fallen" by default) and left his body there, he just... like woke up as a sinner? Yes yes, I know everyone's been talking only about that, I'm not giving any groundbreaking revelations but I'm just saying that there's alot of options that open up to that possibility. Or who knows! What if he actually doesn't get reincarnated? What if he just wakes up with no halo, so no place to come back to or what if the ever-absent God takes notice of his death and fixes up his first loyal creation?

They make these huge ass changes in tactics, and need to find another way to deal with what Charlie is doing; IF Adam actually becomes a sinner, and his life is super important to heaven... with evidence that sinners can now be redeemed... What if people like LUTE, or LILITH actually become allies of the hotel in an effort to redeem him? He WAS God's first, most loyal and favorite creation, HELL THE REASON HE WAS ALLOWED TO DO WHATEVER HE WANTED AND WAS BASICALLY IMMUNE TO THE LAW IN HEAVEN IS BECAUSE OF HOW MANY PRIVILEGES HE HAS, I don't think God would be too pleased with his soul dissipating or whatever the fuck. That might actually be a plot point, he's way too important to just be killed off like this, am I the only one who got that impression? He's the FIRST MAN, first man, the first man being THE FIRST TO DIE IN THIS SHOW IS ABSOLUTELY MIND-FUCKING AND ALSO A CRUEL JOKE anditskindafunny OF FATE FOR HIM.

Something else I want to add is that my personal take on it is that if I learned anything about this show, Lilith will show up in the next season and pretend to be an ally to the hotel, she will pretend to support Charlie and basing this off the theory that Alastor made a deal with Lilith to keep her daughter safe, he failed to meet the end of his deal. So now she's coming to take matters into her own hands after all these pesky men failed, (ermmm girlboss!!) Stop, and manipulate everyone in the hotel into giving up on the idea. Considering how she deliberately kept Charlie away from her dad her whole life, there's gonna be a whole lot of family drama. And we might see Alastor lose his shit for good. Still tryna figure out wtf does "Lilith thrived and empowered demonkind with her voice" if her voice is that powerful, and her words are just as powerful, we're gonna get 1. FIRE ASS SONGS 2. Mother Gothel ass song with Charlie, I just know it holy shit. Not to mention that they actually don't know that Sir Pentious went to heaven, Lilith definetely will know and won't tell anyone. Lucifer will definetely be the one to step up in the situation yet again. Anyway after I yapped my heart out about what I think will happen in this show, I just wanna say one thing.

There is this DUMBASS thing everyone in the fandom is talking about when someone says Adam is gonna be reborn as a sinner. "He is not gonna come back because he was killed with an angelic blade and Pentious was not" That is the most stupid bullshit I've ever read and if you genuinely believe it for a second, i feel sorry for u cuz how did your brain go and make this correlation?

Most of these people say that the show explicitly stated that Angelic metal SPECIFICALLY and just if it's metal, it can castrate a soul or whatever. Which is literally NOT true, at no point was it established that Angelic steel was the only thing able to exorcise demons. You really need just a bit of common sense to come to this conclusion, what makes the weapons dangerous for demons and angels isn't that they're steel specifically. It's that they're ANGELIC guys.. Have y'all seen Helluva boss at all?

There are blessed ropes, Angelic guns, Angelic bullets. These are just items that replicate the power of Holy magic. A PURE,HUGE, HOLY BEAM of unfiltered angelic power is not stronger than a little dagger infused with a fraction of it? Not only does that not make sense from the show's lore perspective, but using common SENSE that sounds even dumber. This is the only argument I can completely scratch off the lists of why Adam can't come back, and it's the most popular one...

Man you know what guys, after he died, whether he comes back or not, he's never gonna be the same again I just can't picture it. He's gonna be much more insecure, without a mask and not funny and goofy............. Or he is just gonna come back and go full joker. But y'all know what? Let's say he's dead okay? Let's say he's dead dead, then what did they do with his BODY? I didn't see anyone dig him a grave, yet he died on the hotel, I didn't see anyone even move his body after the angels left. And we know damn well they didn't take him, that's too much of a big detail to leave it out unless they REALLY screwed up with the writing and animation direction in the rush to have the serie come out, but the animation has always been so detailed with almost unnecessary background details. I think they left it out intentionally to have that worked out in season 2, heard some people say it could be they just built the hotel over his body? But I doubt it. If so maybe he could become part of the hotel or just condemned to never leave the hotel in a.... a... ghooooost.... like form...?(Massive amounts of copium). Someone could argue his body just dissolved or something but 1. That makes no sense pookie 2. In the first episode they found the body of the dead exorcist long after it died, and we definetely know atleast it's head was still perfectly intact by episode 3. AND i also went back to check, after Lute takes the Halo they purposefully never show Adam's body, ONCE. Not once, not even as they show all the corpses on the ground as the exorcists depart. So that couldn't be it, one thing we know for sure is that Vivzie is definetely letting on there's something more to his death she doesn't want to reveal yet. It could be she's doing that just to leave it ambiguous to delusional theorists like myself,,,,,since my type of stupid is usually the kind of idiocy infectious enough to rot everyone's brain into pointless speculation based on minor details. Which definetely sells the show better AND keeps discourse and attention alive till more is fed to us, which in that case, very effective marketing strategy at the cost of everyone's mental health Viv! Good job, the prospect you might be giving us false hope cuz its good for business is really making me reconsider signing the christian mom petition to make Amazon prime cancel tis' demonic blasphemous show. Weird Hazbin Hotel theory

Charlie isn’t exactly real and was made by Lucifer. Just hear me out, Lilith is infertile and Lucifer creates all these toys turned alive like Razzle, Dazzle and Kiki.

Theory, he made Charlie a similar way and creates new older versions every couple of decades, which he lost track of because he’s immortal himself and doesn’t age. Which is why Charlie’s lifespan is so long.

Basically, Charlie is actually a plush or something that Lucifer brought to life for him and Lilith to raise. Dumb theory, I know, but plausible.
