Eddie should've punched his father when he learned he was one of the members of Victor's cult.
I know this is a kid show and that kind of reaction would've made the show bump a rating higher than pg ... but goddamit... i hate that there's no emotional catharisis for those two

Many things to discover - Douma x fem!reader
Warnings: smut w/o plot, fingerfucking Word count: ~2,4k
MASTERLIST
The moonlight bathed the temple in a soft, silver light. The only sound that could be heard was the gentle murmur of the wind rustling through the leaves.
You were nervous as you crept up to Douma's chamber. You had heard stories of the wise guru and was curious to see him in person. Taking a deep breath, you carefully slided the shoji door open and peered inside.
Douma was asleep, or at least he looked like it, and you could barely make out his features in the dim light. You were mesmerized by his beauty and, before you knew it, you were standing right next to him. You wanted to touch him, to feel the warmth of his skin, but you couldn't bring yourself to do it. Finally yet, you reached out and gently put a hand on his chest, biting the inner side of your cheek at the feeling of a tensed muscles, so well defined.
Little did you know Douma had often pretended to be asleep, with his eyes gently closed, giving off the impression of peaceful slumber. His senses were heightened, and he was acutely aware of his surroundings, even when it appeared that he was in a deep sleep. He listened to the gentle rustle of the wind, the pitter-patter of the rain on the roof; he would remain in that state of simulated sleep, for hours on end, until he felt it was safe to rise and continue his nocturnal activities.
Douma stirred and opened his eyes, grasped your wrist and pulled you down on his bed, but instead of getting angry, he smiled at you, cocking his eyebrow. "Well, well, well, what brings you here?" he asked, his voice low and smooth, as he leaned back against the pillows on his bed.
Your heart pounding in your chest as you tried to find the right words. "I...I just wanted to check up on you," you stammered, feeling suddenly self-conscious under his intense gaze.
Douma's smile widened, and he chuckled softly. "Is that so?" he replied, his hand reaching out to brush a lock of hair away from your face. "Or perhaps you came to see me because you couldn't resist my charm?"
Douma's presence was both comforting and alluring, and you found yourself drawn to him.
As you looked up at him, his eyes met yours, and you could see the genuine curiosity and interest in them. "So, tell me," he whispered, his tone playful yet sincere. "What's been on your mind lately?"
"I was curious about you. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but there was something intriguing about you."
Douma tilted his head slightly, his gaze fixed on you. "Oh? And what was it that piqued your curiosity?" he chuckled rather darkly.
"It was the way you carried yourself," you replied, your voice soft but steady. "You seemed so confident, so sure of yourself. I couldn't help but wonder who you were and what you were capable of."
A small smile played at the corners of Douma's lips, and he reached out to gently brush his fingers against your cheek. "I see," he murmured. "Well, I'm glad that you found me interesting. And I'm even happier that you decided to stick around." As you sat on his bed, he paused and stared at you with an intense gaze, his eyes searching for recognition. Suddenly, his eyes widened in realization, and a soft gasp escaped his lips. "I remember you now," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. Yes, I remember now. Your parents were devoted followers of mine for many years, and they brought you here some time ago to be a new member of my cult," Douma tapped his chin with his long, sharp nail. Douma's expression softened, and he reached out to gently touch your cheek. "And now here you are, all grown up and by my side once again. It's like we were always meant to be together."
As he spoke, you felt a strange sense of deja vu wash over you. It was as if you had known Douma your entire life, and yet at the same time, he was still a complete mystery to you.
"Don't be afraid," he said in a soft voice, "I won't hurt you." He extended a hand towards you, and as you hesitated, he gave you an encouraging smile. "Come closer." As you moved towards him, he took your hand in his and held it gently, his fingers entwining with yours. He leaned in closer, his breath warm against your cheek.
Without a word, he pulled you closer and your lips met. The kiss was soft and warm, full of passion and longing. Douma pulled you closer and the intensity of the moment was palpable. He explored you with his hands and felt your body tremble. His desire for you was growing with each passing second. He leaned in and kissed the side of your neck, feeling your breathing became more rapid. His hands moved lower and he could feel your body quiver in anticipation. He wanted more and you apparently wanted the same.
Finally, you found the courage to take a step forward. Without breaking eye contact, you slowly moved to straddle him, feeling the coldness of his body against yours. You could feel his breath on your face as you leaned in closer, your heart pounding in your chest.
He responded with a low chuckle, his eyes still fixed on yours. "Don't be shy, my dear," he murmured, his hand moving to rest on the small of your back.
Encouraged by his words, you leaned in further, your lips brushing against his. The touch was electrifying, and you felt your entire body tremble with desire. As the kiss deepened, you found yourself lost in the sensation, the coldness of his lips against yours, the feel of his hands on your body. You had never felt so alive. Finally, you broke away, gasping for air. Douma's eyes were filled with a hunger that matched your own, and you knew that this was only the beginning of a wild, thrilling journey with the Upper Moon Two. "I know about your secret," you whispered quietly. "I know you're a demon."
As you spoke the words about Douma being a demon, he couldn't help but chuckle darkly, his lips curling into a sly smirk. He raised a brow and leaned back, propping himself on his elbows, the soft sound of his laughter filling the room. "You're not wrong," he said in a carefree tone, his eyes glinting with a mischievous gleam. "I am a demon, after all." He tilted his head slightly, his expression still playful as he gazed at you. "Does that scare you, my dear? Or does it make you curious?" he teased, his voice low and seductive.
A hint of fear was lingering in your voice as you spoke. "I've heard that demons eat humans, and I don't want to end up as your next meal."
Douma chuckled softly, the sound sending shivers down your spine. "You don't have to worry about that. I have no interest in eating anyone right now, especially not sweet and courageous as you."
Despite your initial fear, you found yourself drawn to Douma's otherworldly charm. Without thinking, you reached out and gently brushed your lips against his cheek, feeling the coldness of his skin beneath your lips.
Douma watched you hungrily; your body so close that he could feel the heat radiating from it. You moved your hands up his chest, teasing his nipples with your fingertips. He shivered in anticipation as your lips brushed lightly against his neck and he let out a moan of pleasure, curling his lips in a grin.
Your hands moved lower, tracing a path of fire across his abdomen. You looked up at him, your dark eyes filled with passion and desire. You couldn't help but smile at him, feeling a rush of warmth spread through your body. "I just wanted to show you how much I appreciate you," you replied softly, your gaze locked on his. "And I was curious about you"
Douma's lips curved into a small smile as he reached up to cup your cheek in his hand. "I appreciate you too," he said, his thumb brushing gently over your skin. Douma pulled you closer, tasting your lips as his hands roamed over your body. He felt you responding to his touch and he knew he wanted you more than anything.
You unbuttoned your kimono and let it slide off your shoulders, revealing the soft curves of your body. Next, you unclasped your bra and let it fall to the ground, feeling the cool air brush against your bare skin. There was no piece of clothing protecting you from his hungry eyes anymore.
Douma's lips curved into a smirk. "Am I to assume you are enjoying the freedom of not wearing panties?" he asked, amusement lacing his voice. "No need to be embarrassed, my dear. I rather enjoy the sight," he said, his fingers tracing along the exposed skin of your calf, moving up to soon knead the warm fesh of your thighs. "Look at you. You're so beautiful and eager." Douma suddenly placed his hands on your waist and with a swift motion, he flipped you effortlessly, leaving you stunned. "You're light as a feather," Douma remarked, grinning widely as he pinned you down to the bed.
As you watched him, your teeth found your lower lip, and you bit down gently, unable to tear your gaze away from the sight before you. "I think you're content with my late night visit."
As his finger ventured into the warmth of your wet folds, you couldn't help but notice how slick your arousal had made you. Douma's middle finger glided along your slick walls with such ease, it was as if it was coated in a fine layer of massage oil. He continued his exploration, sliding his slender finger down to the very depths of your core. Your eyes widened with a mix of surprise and pleasure, causing your abdominal muscles to flex as you arched your back in response. "Oh!" Douma applied more pressure to your slit, parting your lips with his fingers. As his digit hooked inside you, you couldn't help but gasp at the sensation of him penetrating you. Slowly, he delved deeper and deeper, eliciting a silent response from you as your pussy walls gripped his finger tightly. Your hips began to wiggle, instinctively trying to retreat from the sensation, only to press back down onto Douma's hand in surrender.
Douma leaned in, his lips closing around your left nipple. You gasped as you watched him lick and suck at the sensitive bud, sending waves of pleasure through your body. His other hand rubbed around the side of your breast, squeezing and massaging the soft flesh beneath his cold palm. You could feel the coldness of his body against your own delicate, curvy form. As he pulled his finger out, you moaned softly, already missing the feeling of him inside you. But then he plunged it back in, and you were transported to a new level of ecstasy. Your hips instinctively began to move, riding his finger with a rhythm you had never known before. Each thrust sent you closer and closer to the edge, and you could feel your body start to tremble in anticipation of what was to come.
"Don't stop, don't stop, my master," you moaned, your voice shaky with pleasure.
Douma's finger continued to pump into you with an increasing pace.
You could hear the wet sounds of his finger moving in and out of your pussy, and it only turned you on more. As he added a second finger, your back arched and your moans grew louder. Your breasts bounced with each thrust of his fingers, and you couldn't help but grip onto his shoulders tightly. His fingers filled you up so completely, and the sensation was overwhelming. "Don't stop, Douma," you begged, your eyes closed in ecstasy. "Please, don't stop." Your body convulsed with pleasure as the orgasmic waves crashed through you. You gasped for air and clenched your teeth, trying to hold back the moans that threatened to escape your lips. Your thighs trembled as they pressed tightly against Douma's hand, his long fingers still buried deep inside your soaking wet pussy. Your entire body shook as the climax consumed you, and you cried out in ecstasy, "Oh God, yes!" Your juices gushed out onto his hand, coating it in your essence as you continued to shudder with pleasure.
With a dark chuckle, Douma brought his hand, drenched in your essence, straight to his mouth. Not breaking eye contact with you, he slipped his fingers between his lips and let out a low moan as he tasted your juices. His grin widened as he savored the flavor, relishing in the sensation. "Well, well, Y/N," he purred, his voice laced with desire. "I must admit, you are absolutely delicious."
You felt your cheeks flush and the only sound that escaped your parted lips was a quiet groan as you watched Douma.
His cold hand caressed the curve of your waist, his sharp nails grazing the soft skin of your hip, sending shivers down your spine. Douma leaned in, his breath hot on your lips, and captured them with a deep, passionate kiss. Your tongues intertwined in a seductive dance, and you tasted the faint sweetness of yourself on his tongue. The taste of your own essence on his tongue only intensified the intimate moment, causing your senses to ignite with an unquenchable desire.
As he pulled back, his fingers trailed down your side, and he whispered into your ear., "I think there are many things I have yet to discover about you tonight," he murmured, his voice husky with desire. "And I must say, my dear lotus, I am so fucking curious to find out."
In that moment, you knew that the night would be filled with endless exploration and pleasure, as Douma's insatiable hunger for you could not be quenched. The promise of new discoveries and indulgences filled you with a heady excitement, as you eagerly anticipated what was yet to come.

Personal Ranking of the Fantasy High Dads, From Worst to Best:
Angwyn Penguin Abernant: -100000/10. He's somehow both controlling and neglectful, elitist beyond belief, power-hungry and cruel, and doesn't see his daughters as anything other than tools and means to an end. Adaine killing him in one hit was one of the most satisfying moments in Dimension 20 history.
Mac Applebees: 0/10. He and Donna did clearly care about Kristen, but that was clearly conditional and all of those points are subtracted on account of him being racist and members of a conservative religious cult. And if Bucky is any indication, those parenting skills have not improved.
Bill Seacaster: 4.5/10. Absolute madlad? Yes. Chaotic king? Yes. A joy to witness whenever he appears? Yes. But despite the fact that he clearly loves Fabian, he piled on a lot of unreasonable expectations and didn't fully prepare him for the world... and he clearly had several bastard children who we know absolutely nothing about. He does get points for being totally cool with Fabian being a bard, though.
Arthur Aguefort: 5/10. Again, in the same realm as Bill---a chaotic madlad who's a joy to watch, but his parenting skills do leave something to be desired. He does get points for clearly caring deeply about his students and Ayda, as well as attempting to reconnect with her again, but he's got some ways to go.
Gorbag Last-Name-Unknown: 6/10. We don't know enough about him for me to give him a fair ranking, and he did become a dad at, like, fifteen. But it does mean a lot that he found Gorgug again and is clearly an active presence in his life.
Gorthalax The Insatiable: 7/10. Clearly a good dad to Fig, loves her like crazy, the chillest and nicest devil you'll ever meet. Does have a bad habit of getting trapped in rubies, but still. Great guy all around.
Pok Gukgak: 7.3/10. If he hadn't died before the show started, and if he'd gotten to be present in Riz's life, he'd get ranked higher due to us having more data. As it stands, though, he's a badass secret agent angel who supports and loves his son, and he even accepts Riz's sexuality, which is a win in my book.
Gilear Faeth: 7.9/10. Being a dad is literally the only thing he's actually good at, and it shows. Does get a point taken off for getting engaged and going on a cruise without telling Fig, but we'll find out more about that in a few days. There's probably an explanation.
Digby Thistlespring: 9/10. Loving, sweet, supportive, sex-positive---what's not to love about him, he's a great dad! Sure, he does do the parent thing of embarrassing Gorgug at times, and he and Wilma both clearly still need to work on understanding that their son needs to express his anger, but he does a great job.
Jawbone O'Shaugnessy: 11/10. My guy. He went from being a random NPC that Brennan named on the spot to being a central character in the whole damn narrative, and he shines. The fact that he's been through the ringer means that he gives out the best advice, and the man is one of the most supportive and caring dads in existence.

Hello, this is the Vampire speaking
Or, the Zodiac Killer, Manson Family Murders, the Zebra slayings, and your daily reminder of how absolutely Fucked it was that Daniel went home with Louis when he did
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because Danny lives in my head nearly 24/7 rent-free, and because I'm an insufferable nerd for details, I spend a lot of time thinking about how ballsy it was that a man in his early 20s headed out to San Francisco to do interviews and agreed to go home with someone! AKA the dreaded Second Location that crime experts always go on about.
You might be saying - Paintaboveyourbones! This was the 70s; it was just a different time. Nuh-uh. Not in SF at this time. What was going on that made this such an awful choice, you might be asking?
The Zodiac was still on the loose.
While the Zodiac had quickly risen to fame by binding and shooting couples, he was also known to attack the occasional lone figure every now and then, according to some investigators. Overall, Threat To Danny's Sweet Ass 6/10, But still, he hadn't been caught yet! And never has...
2. The Manson Family
This one is more tricky to gauge. In retrospect, we know a lot more about the family, but it's vital to remember AT THE TIME, there was absolutely no way of gauging how many family members there were. Remember, as late as 1971, family members were still making headlines in shootout raids with the police. As far as the general public knew, family members were crawling out of the sewers to wage an all-out war. It's impossible to understate the amount of psychic terror they inflicted on the general public then. The twin murders they were charged with really seemed random.
This isn't even beginning to touch the family's ties in SF. Even for Manson scholars, it's hard work piecing together all the bits. Human sacrifices, assassinations, cult murders, gang murders - it all seems too far-fetched to be true, and yet more and more evidence keeps surfacing that shows it wasn't. Especially in San Francisco. Over All Threat to Danny's Sweet Ass 7.5/10
3. The Zebra Murders
This one's kinda gruesome. Basically these were a series of 15 separate racially motivated serial murders, completed at random, by a gang of four men. Their victims were tortured, shot, dismembered and not necessarily in that order either! In addition to the 15 killed an additional 8 men were wounded or mutilated and survived. Threat level to Danny's white ass : 9/10
4. The Doodler
The time line on this one is fuzzy, but I'm going to include it anyway. Technically the earliest known victim of this serial killer was 1974, which would put Danny far away by then. But there's often an escalation period for any serial murderer, and that's just the corpse that was found first. It's entirely possible he might have already been active in SF when Danny was going around doing interviews, because lets be honest - SF was an absolute SHIT SHOW in the 1970s. Threat Level to Danny's sweet ass : 10/10
So the question remains - what, in the ever-living holy hell, was going through his mind when he went out to a bar in the middle of the night and decided to go back to an unknown location with Louis. Danny? Not??? So Smart??? Guys, I can't with this guy.

(Adult Van Palmer and Taissa Turner x fem reader)
[Warnings - GIP Van, Top Taissa, sub reader, penetration, threesome, young reader, peeping, manipulation, seducing, praise, aftercare]
Van and Taissa see a member of Lotties cult they find very attractive, teaming up like they used to.
When Van and Taissa first met you, you were chopping wood. Lottie was showing them around the retreat and there you were… swinging that axe, even though you were just a little thing, just nineteen, they couldn’t help but lock their eyes on you before giving each other “that” look. You were wearing a crop top and jeans with some boots, but fuck did that crop top show your biceps and back muscles, every swing looked aggressive but calculated, like it was your own therapy, it probably was.
“Look at that.” Van drew out with a low whistle, leaning close to Taissa to keep their conversation private, “I didn’t know they had girls like that here, I might just join to-“ Taissa smacked Van on the back of the head before she could finish, whispering back in a sharp sarcastic tone, “We haven’t even been here for more than a few hours and you can’t keep your dick in your pants?” Her words just made Van pout with that kicked puppy dog look as she stuffed her hands in her pockets, still looking up at you through her lashes innocently as the group walked by you, you caught both the ladies eyes as you looked up, giving them a polite nod.
Taissa couldn’t help but give you a small smile back, she did find you quiet pretty, Mabye a little too skinny for her liking but you were pretty cute. Van was much more eager to give you a wave, nodding with a smile, making you let out a adorable little chuckle, smiling before shaking your head and getting back to work. Van turned to Taissa immediately after getting far enough away, “Pleaseeeee Tai, she’s so cute, did you see the way she looked at us, that’s a baby gay, I know it, I sense it with my balls,” Taissa rolled her eyes so far back she swore they might get stuck, “Van if you don’t stop I’m gonna get you neutered.”
Van just dropped her mouth open in disbelief with a offended look, huffing on a pout, “Whatever, I saw you look at her too…” Taissa just straightened up her posture and continued to walk, Charlotte having been paying too much attention to Natalie to even notice, desperately trying to get her attention and validation as they continued the tour until later in the evening. It was dark by the time Taissa and Van finally got time to stray away from all the cult activity’s to have a moment of privacy together, sitting near the fire pit with some booze.
It wasn’t until Taissa perked up at the sight of you entering the shower house that Van even noticed, turning her head to see what she was looking at before smiling, “Oh come on, Taissa…” Taissa just sighed out and looked at Van, it had been a while since they had been together, why not have a little fun, they were here to relax, right? Sighing out as she finally stood up, holding her hand out to Van, “Well come on.” Her approval making Van smile immediately and shoot up before they both were walking to the shower house.
It seemed quiet when they entered, the only bags being yours on the hook near the door, making them both realize it was just you and them, Taissa locking the door behind them as Van tilted her head, walking down the floor until reaching the only shower curtain that was closed and running, smirking back at Taissa before she “accidentally” opened the curtain before jumping a little for show as you jumped and turned around, her words rushing out with a apologetic look, “Oh- shit, sorry! Me and Tai didn’t realize anyone was in here.” You collected yourself after a few moments of your heart racing, you felt awkward and embarrassed, plus it didn’t help Van had her eyes trailing down your body,
“Oh, um it’s fine- sorry, c-can you close the curtain?” You asked her timidly, a subtle barely noticeable smirk crossed her face before Taissa came up behind her, nodding to you, “Hey pretty girl, you don’t mind if we joined you, would you?” You were stunned a little at her words, standing there like a naked babe, eyes wide like some deer in headlights, at a loss for words, you thought the both of them were so so hot, the moment they arrived, but you had a habit of killing your hopes and dreams. For them to actually want you, you couldn’t believe it until Taissa was pushing Van in, “Undress you doofus.” She smirked as Van stumbled and nodded fumbling with her belt as she walked past her to you, reaching out to slide her hands onto your shoulders with a comforting smile, “Hi pretty girl, this is okay, right?”
Taissa spoke with such a comforting tone, like she was speaking to a child, you were so shocked and at a loss for words, mouth opening and closing before just blushing as Taissa’s smirk widened, brushing her thumb against your cheek, “Words sweet girl.” You whimpered out a, “Yes…” before she was smiling more before her face got annoyed, “Van hurry up.” She snapped back at her girlfriend who was hopping out of her jeans with a stumble, stuttering in her boxers, “Sorry!” You giggled at the sight of the redhead struggling with her jeans while Taissa just shook her head and rolled her eyes, “so much for sexy” she thought.
Van was always clumsy though, even with sex, like some starved puppy. But she finally got her clothes off, Taissa had stepped back to strip a lot more gracefully, making a show of it for you, both woman naked and bare just like you, which made your eyes widen when you saw the extra appendage Van had, your eyes widening, making her smile and shake her head while stepping forward, “Hey, it’s okay pretty girl, we’ll be extra careful with you.” She tried to comfort you as she held her hands out and grabbed yours, gently pulling you close before she was kissing you tenderly.
Groaning into your mouth while Taissa came up from behind, sandwiching to between them, her hands sliding around to your hips and up your waist before cupping your breasts while hers pressed into your back and Vans squished against your front along with her erect throbbing cock which she couldn’t help but rut her hips to get some friction, making you gasp out and lean back into Taissa who hummed in your ear, kissing your cheek before she pushed her hand down to wrap around your thigh and pull it up to spread you open a bit, looking down over your shoulder to bite her lip at the sight of your beautiful soaked cunt, smiling as she trailed her free hand down to stroke her slender fingers through your folds, rubbing your clit in gentle circles, “Such a pretty girl… oh your so wet for us, huh?” She coo’d out against your ear.
After a few minutes of relentless teasing and praise from Taissa while Van jerked herself off, biting her lip, she finally got the go from Taissa, a nod as she pulled you back against her while holding your thighs open, Van smiling as she pressed the tip of her cock at your folds, spreading them with her tip, making her shutter, “Fuckkk, god- pretty girl, you have such a pretty pussy baby, gonna make you feel so good.” Van moaned out before slowly pushing her cock inside you, a shuttering moan of pure pleasure slipping past her lips as she locked eyes with Taissa before thrusting all the way in, whimpering out before she kissed her over your shoulder while you got lost in the pleasure of being stretched by Vans cock.
Van didn’t waste any time before starting a sloppy pace with desperate breathy moans into Taissa’s mouth as they made out with you sandwiched between them, Vans hips slapping against yours quicker and quicker due to you being so wet, the shower still running over the three of you as your moans echoed through the shower house, you were panting and whining at how good she felt thrusting her hips into yours while Taissa dug her nails into your thigh to keep your thigh held up, she was moaning so husky in your ear, smiling as she tweaked your nipple and praised you, “Yeah… that’s such a good girl, take her cock, yeah- so pretty, does it feel good baby? Tell us how good you feel getting fucked by us, okay?” You shook your head with a whimper at Taissa’s tone, it was so obvious she was degrading you and praising you at the same time.
A smirk on her face as she watched you get fucked by her girlfriend while you trembles between them, rambling out through whimpers and gasps, “s-so good- mhm! Feels so good, please…” you begged, you were getting so close, the pleasure was burning up as Van sped up her pace ruthlessly, Taissa having to hold you up as Van went sloppy with her broken moans, balls deep with every thrust, the only noises being loud moans and sloppy skin slapping together before you were sobbing out a cry and tensing before trembling violently in Taissa’s arms, Van crying out in pleasure as you clenched down on her cock so tight she rammed her hips up hard, filling you all the way as her hands met your ass, gripping and squeezing to hold you close, tearing you away from Taissa’s grasps with her last sloppy rough thrusts, wrapping your thighs around her waist as she bucked up, panting so heavy as she tucked her face into your shoulder, spilling her load inside you.
It took a few minutes after your orgasm that you finally got your bearings, Taissa speaking down to you with a soft caring hum as she helped Van pull out and set you down on a bench, her touch soothing as you shivered and whined lazily, eyes unfocused, making her smile and chuckle at how fucked out you looked, “Christ, Van, you fucked the poor daylights out of the girl, I wanted a turn you know but I don’t know if she could handle it.” She coos out, not once taking her eyes off your face as she gripped your chin to pull you into a soft kiss, mumbling out, “You we’re such a good girl for us, baby, I’m gonna give you one more, okay?”
She whispered out, making you whimper, you really didn’t think you could handle another, so sensitive, making her brush your hair back, “Shhh, I’m just gonna clean you up, sweetheart.” Taissa whispered out before kneeling down slowly, parting your thighs open to lick her lips at the sight of your messy pretty pussy leaking out both yours and Vans cum, groaning before she dove in with her soft lips and tongue, darting it out to push through your folds which made you arch and whine, you felt like your clit was burning already, thighs trembling, “O-Oh god!”
“Shhh babygirl, it’s alright, your doing so good.” Taissa mumbled against your clit while flicking her tongue with a muffled moan, Van slowly came to your side to brush your hair back and hold you a little to support you, she didn’t want you accidentally throwing your head back and hitting it on the stall, so she held the back of your head protectively while leaning down to kiss your head as Taissa worked her magic on your poor overstimulated cunt, her hands rubbing up and down your thighs until you were crying out shakily, trembling again with a scream as you came one last final time on Taissa’s tongue, a pleasured-proud hum coming from her as she cleaned you up before both of the older woman were helping you up to all shower together.
Both Taissa and Van just held you between them silently, gentle kisses and soft words coming from the two of them as they cleaned you, dressing you after before walking you back to your cabin, (more like Van carried you because you couldn’t walk) and then they helped you into bed and decided to stay the night and crawl into bed with you so you wouldn’t be alone, Van spooning you from behind while Taissa laid on her back with your head on her breast, her slender fingers coaxing gently through your hair before she kissed your forehead, speaking out softly to you, her words making your heart flutter,
“I think we’re gonna keep you, pretty girl…”

For the writing requests: mortal!Narinder getting kidnapped by cultists looking to sacrifice the former God of death, and Lamb has to come to the rescue
Thanks for requesting! I had a little bit of fun with this and kept it pretty short.
Enjoy!
Warning(s): poorly written fight sequence and some smooches
---
The day started with the morning sermon, a highlight of the cult’s daily activities. All gathered in the temple to hear the unholy word of the Lamb, the destroyer of the old bishops, and liberator of death himself: The One Who Waits.
Draped in their simple red fleece, the small ting of the bell announced their arrival at the podium. They set down their book, opened it to a page, and raised their arms to command silence.
The crowd quieted as all stared at the Lamb.
“Good day, my children!” rang their voice echoing off the temple walls, a supernatural presence amplifying their every word. “Let us begin with a moment of silence for our own fallen, Loopy Rupple Bumper VI, who left this mortal realm last night for uh…” the Lamb paused as they glanced over their flock. “Their old age! Yes, they passed in their sleep.”
Most of their followers touched their hearts, looking remorseful for their fallen member. A few members leered in the Lamb’s direction but refused to directly meet their eyes. They make a mental note to check in on those followers later.
“Continuing with the topics of today’s sermon, we celebrate the 2 month anniversary of welcoming one of your fellow friends onto our sacred lands. He joined us shortly after I defeated the bishop of Silk Cradle, and since has been adapting to his new lifestyle here after being imprisoned for so long.”
The crowd ramps up with excitement to celebrate one of their own being praised by the Lamb.
“To lead this celebration I honor my husband, Narinder, and his time spent with us.”
Cheers erupted from the crowd as followers scanned around for the black cat to congratulate him. The cheers began to die down as a minute passed with no indication of his presence among them.
“Narinder?” the Lamb called out to the crowd, hoping to see some clue of where his husband might be lurking.
Still, nothing came.
“Where is my husband?”
+-+
In a decaying, green clearing in the middle of Darkwood, a small group of heretics gathered around a smothering fire. The group chattered among themselves, ignorant of the black cat’s stirring awake.
His third eye was swollen shut, likely due to some physical harm, so he relied on his mortal eyes to peer at his new surroundings.
Narinder quickly recognized his brother’s dying domain. Despite the time passage and lack of Leshy’s presence, the land maintained some evidence of the luscious, earthy, paradise it used to be.
Attempting to rub his wrists together to soothe the ache revealed a thick rope wrapped several times around them. He peered down to find similar ropes around his ankles and a few rounds tied around his stomach. Luckily, his tail remained untouched, and he used it to quietly investigate behind his back. He was tied to some sort of pole, the rope around his stomach holding him in place.
Finally, his shuffling alerted his captors, and they turned to look at him.
“He wakes!”
“The One Who Waits!”
“But he is so small! Where did his godly form go?”
Narinder took slight offense to that last comment.
“Silence!”
A significantly larger grunt stood from their place and slinked over to Narinder’s location.
“Prepare for the ritual! Bishop Leshy will be pleased to see this sacrifice. Make haste before the damned lamb realizes their mate is gone!”
Narinder rolled his eyes. Normally, any other member of the Lamb’s cult would be begging for mercy. But, the cat knew that his slightly obsessed spouse would be making their way here in just a few moments–
And as the thought crossed his mind, a heretic yelled out at a new threat in the clearing. A powerful ball of fire pummeled into the heretic’s stomach, shooting them backward past the clearing into the dark beyond. The rest of the group readied their weapons as the Lamb jumped out from the bushes firing spells at the small ones and taking their axe to others.
The one who towered around Narinder gaped in shock. “But how? We nearly took him a few hours ago!”
“You doubt the Lamb’s determination,” Narinder snickered. “And their possessiveness.”
Blood dripped from the Lamb’s eyes as they prepared a charged attack, pushing little runts out of the way as they ran toward the large figure.
The big heretic whispered curses under their breath as they turned to run off in the opposite direction. Before they could even get a few steps, a whoosh flew through the air as the Lamb’s axe landed squarely in their back.
A silence fell across the clearing.
“Nari.”
“Yeah?”
The bell around their neck jingled as they crouched down to Narinder’s level. They brought a hooved hand to the soft fur of Narinder’s cheek, brushing loose strands in the right direction. Using their other hand, they tilt up his head to meet his unamused gaze. They reached to capture his lips with theirs, fiddling with the rope around his ankles.
“Mmr.. Lamb.”
Narinder bucked up his knees to push his Lamb away.
“Lamb, how did you find me so quickly?”
The Lamb pouted at the disconnect as they pulled a small knife out of their fleece to cut away at Narinder’s ropes.
“Remember when I said our wedding rings were made of a really special material I found on a crusade?”
“They’re trackers aren’t they-”
“They’re trackers.”
With a snap, the ropes securing Narinder fell away. He stands but before he can get a few steps in the Lamb tucked their arms under his legs and back to scoop him up.
“LAMB-”
“My poor Nari,” they peck some more kisses along Narinder’s jaw.
“YOU-”
And the echoes of an angry, spicy cat rang throughout Darkwood as the Lamb carried their lover away.

Thanks to my rambling this weekend, I am overflowing with love for an MMO that hasn’t been in development since 2012, because goddamn the worldbuilding for the setting of City of Heroes and City of Villains was just superb.
Do you want an MMO that begins as a pastiche of superhero comics that lovingly, cheekily engages with its source material, building up a cohesive world where the fantastical stuff feels unexpectedly real and grounded in the society, more so than most of the comics it's inspired by? Do you want that, and then to watch it slowly, gently tip its backstory into existential, cosmic horror via genre critique?
Tumblr media
I'm in no way kidding! More below the cut.
Well, part one of more, because there's a lot to unpack here.
A lot of new superhero continuities these days treats its central premise as an anomaly. For the most popular example, the MCU treats public knowledge of superheroes as something that started with Captain America in WWII. Before his exploits, the fantastical aspects of the setting were forgotten about and hidden from the world. The DCEU begins similarly with Wonder Woman in WWI, a member of a mythic society forgotten by time.
At first, Earth in City of Heroes seemed to go with a very similar premise, though it predates any of those movies: Superpowers were unknown to the general public until the early 1930s, when some people suddenly began gaining incredible new abilities, and mythical critters not seen since ancient times made themselves known.
But that’s just the basic sales pitch. As you dug into the setting and City of Villains expanded the lore, perspective shifted into something entertainingly stranger.
Everyone knew about Nemesis, the clockwork robot-making mastermind who'd terrorized Paragon City from the early 1930s, just when superheroes were first appearing on the scene. Turns out he was an immortal Prussian nobleman born who first went on an automaton-backed crime spree in 1820s, seemingly died when the British Navy bombarded his headquarters in Malta, then reappeared in the 1860s to supply the Confederate Army with mechanical cavalry until General Sherman shelled his mountaintop base on his march to North Carolina. Nobody was ever able to replicate what the did, and with his (apparent) death, he was no longer relevant after 1865. As of the 1930s, anyone who wasn’t a history buff had forgotten about him.
And sure, everyone knew there was an underground city of evil wizards, dead for long eons until they rose again to take human sacrifices from the surface world of Rhode Island (I’m still not over that). But actually, they were active in London during the Victorian mysticism craze, then moved their operations back to their homeland of subeterranean Rhode Island with the outbreak of World War I. They made the news across the continent. They got outlawed in multiple countries. They were a big deal, until the war took the attention off of them.
Hell, one of the people who fought all these weirdos was a random teenager who'd just... always been able to teleport and turn invisible, even prior to the '30s. He wasn't even a main character or anything! His parents knew, and tried to convince him to go get training. Teleportation training. Like y'do, with your socially awkward, teleporting kid.
This setting never actually had a mundane world that was unaware of the fantastical. The fantastical was normal. The arrival of superpowers in 1930 wasn’t a hard fork between history as we know it and theirs, or a reveal of some secret world that rational minds had long denied. It was just a dramatic escalation of what had already been happening, that everyone knew about. Armies of the 1800s had to develop anti-robot tactics. Alastair Crowley publicly dissed an actual wizard cult because they were dangerous competition. Parents worried over the mental health of their superpowered teens. That was normal.
The sheer numbers of fantastical events that started happening after 1930 were not normal. Or at least, not at first. People slowly adjusted over decades, as more and more young people grew up in a world that had always been that way.
What nobody realized at that point was how the new normal bordered on a state of cosmic horror.
And that’s where the setting really starts interrogating its inspirations.

A Mexican “witch” who reportedly had cartel ties was killed June 30 after trying to kidnap a baby from his parents to use him as a sacrifice.
The woman, identified as 33-year-old Maria Guadalupe R.M., allegedly wanted to use the child’s death as a sacrifice to the patron “saint” of cartels, Santa Muerte (“Saint Death”), the Daily Mail reported Monday, citing a Norte Digital.
Tumblr media
Prior to the attempted kidnapping the woman told her nephew, the baby’s father, she believed a deceased family member had been reincarnated as the baby and allegedly broke into the Juarez home to get the baby.
However, the woman’s 23-year-old nephew, whose name is Carlos Gabriel C.R., reportedly killed the woman with a baseball bat.
“Two unidentified men, who are still on the run, were also in the home to aid in his son’s kidnapping, but they were scared off by neighbors who alerted the cops about what was going on,” the report continued, noting that Guadalupe allegedly practiced satanic worship.
“She also had ties to the notorious street gang Los Mexicles, the armed goons for the Sinaloa drug cartel, formerly run by drug kingpin El Chapo Guzman, who is imprisoned in the US, Mexican authorities confirm,” the Mail article said. The article also stated it was unclear if the baby was hurt during the incident.
Although his father turned himself in, he was later released once officials determined it was a case of self-defense.
In a 2013 article on the FBI’s website, Robert J. Bunker, Ph.D., wrote about the narcotics wars in Mexico:
One component entails the rise of the cartel and gang narcocultura (drug culture) variant of the Cult of Santa Muerte (literally translated as “Holy Death”).2 This variant of the cult promotes greater levels of criminality than the more mainstream and older forms of Santa Muerte worship. Sometimes it can be so extreme that it condones morally corrupt behaviors—what many people would consider as resulting from an evil value system that rewards personal gain above all else, promoting the intentional pain and suffering of others, and, even, viewing killing as a pleasurable activity.
The Mail article noted the Catholic Church has denounced the “saint” called Santa Muerte.
In 2019, local and military forces in Mexico City carried out a huge raid and found tunnels and stash houses where cartels handled drugs and weapons and engaged in witchcraft, Breitbart News reported.
“During the raid, authorities found various shrines used for witchcraft rituals where human remains were apparently used as offerings or ornaments,” the outlet said.
You cannot import millions of people without importing their culture. One day our grandchildren will spit on our grave.

Does Skully exist in your AU? What about other characters you featured on your blog like Helen and X Virus?
honestly, tons of creeps EXIST in my AU, but they aren't really core components. like they'll sort of wander around the forest, or they're a killer in a random state, unrelated to the main CRPs. MAYBBEEE still infected by the operator, but otherwise unrelated.
i'd love to make skully a more notable character. since theyre some sort of ... idek how to describe it.... cryptid? spirit holder? idk thing HAHA. they'd probably get stuck in the forest as well. maybe be actively against slendy and the operator, rather than just against the operator (as most creeps are). maybe work with zalgo, since zalgo is obv anti-slendy and anti-operator... which would result in skully being an antagonist to our main cast!
Helen is also in my AU, but again, not with the core cast. He grew up in Dina's cult, had a massive fascination with Dina herself. she was his muse and he painted her endlessly, not unusual as Dina was the cult's prized possession. after dina goes missing and the cult goes into disarray, helen commits mass murder (to replicate his 1994 massacre) and kills 17 members. he'd either die shortly after, flee the state, or go to prison for life.
x virus... im really not too sure what to do with him. ive been trying to get connected to his character for a while now, but it's kinda hard cuz i didnt grow up with him as much. i think he's either an unrelated killer in a different state. if i had to force him with the main cast, he'd be a new, young proxy for toby/kate to raise after tim/brian leave. there's really only one design of him i've been super fond of though...
in general, any character could totally fit into my AU and i have no objections, but the main 16 i have are the extent i plan on creating intricate backstories/relationships with! (for now, of course)

A compilation of things we know:
the OIAR used to work with a security company called Rightforce International, previously called Diligence Security Systems
the Magnus Institute burned down 24 Dec 1999
the OIAR separated from a company called Starkwall Protection Services on 3 Jan 2000
Starkwall had something to do with a “magnus protocol,” and information related to this is above the level of access of the OIAR team members
Gerry Kaey was a Magnus kid
there is no evidence that there were files in the basement of The Magnus Institute when it burned
The basement of The Magnus Institute was the Archives in the TMA World Line
Also in the TMA World Line, Gertrude Robinson was the Archivist for ~40 years, starting in the 80s
She frequently worked with Adelard Decker to thwart the machinations of the Entities and their avatars
Later, she worked with Gerard Kaey, who had intentionally aligned himself with the Eye in order to see when people were being stalked by one of the Powers and help them
He was also a firebug
Also known firebug: Agnes Montague, who had been bonded to Gertrude via a ritual by followers of the Web - a bond Gertrude used to protect herself from the Cult of the Lightless Flame
An unnamed security company saved Dianne Margolis from a shop on Hilltop Road in Oxford that was filled with supernatural shit and subsequently set on fire
FR3-D1 should NOT work like this considering the technology it runs on
FR3-D1 appears to have complete access to any files transmitted via the Internet, no matter how secure or buried they are, for the sole purpose of categorization
there (is? used to be?) some sort of Response Department, that is still enough a part of the OIAR’s operations that Sam gets paperwork on his desk about it after checking a box marked “Response 121” on his onboarding paperwork
Klaus learned things that he believed put him in danger and subsequently disappeared via Lena’s intervention
Colin believes there is Something watching and/or listening via any technology with cameras or microphones
Lena answers to some sort of authority that none of the other workers know about
The Entities exist in this world, just in a different form than we’re used to (in-depth meta on this here)
okay those are all the relevant facts time for:
CRACK THEORY TIME
Gertrude and Decker are co-founders of Starkwall né Rightforce né Diligence
They kept changing the name to keep off the radar of any avatars
Gerry was Youngest Recruit In History
He was recruited while he was a Magnus kid to be their INSIDE OPERATIVE
He got to help set the fire
He swept the archives and stole all the relevant files because he is still an Eye-aligned bitch who wants to figure shit out
Agnes is also in on it
Bc she fuckin DESERVES IT
also look at all the fire shit
She and Gertrude are lovers
Bc I fuckin deserve it
that eldrich bond should be good for something and that something is LESBIANISM
(*speaking in a voice crushed with disappointment but with a Touch of hopefulness* here’s how agnes montague can still win?)
Anyway back to Starkwall
Their whole thing is basically scorched earth policy when it comes to Fears shit (see: MAGP 07 statement of fire at Hilltop Road)
Feeding the Desolation by ^ and the Eye by collecting info on the activities of other fears (whatever slightly warped version of the Fears exist in this world)
Used to work with? under? the OIAR as part of the “Response Department”
FR3-D1 is like EXPLICITLY Eye-based system set up to collect info for Starkwall to go after (Eye is a silly stupid entity who just wants to gobble up the fear and is bad at planning, so doesn’t notice/care how its people use the info gathered)
a significant part of Jon Martin and (probable) Jonah got schlorped up by FR3-D1 when they got here bc their voices reading out Statements for the Eye were the conduits for the Fears to travel, and FR3-D1 had INTENSE EYE GRAVITY that was Specifically Tuned to gulp up supernatural stories from the interwebs
unfortunately the Intense Eye Beams coming off him DOES tend to place FR3-D1’s IT workers directly into a position to get Eyed into intense paranoia and fear of being watched (rip Klaus, stay strong Colin)
this did not happen when Starkwell used to work with them bc they knew how to handle FR3-D1 but alas once the Eye folks all fucked off it left Klaus (and now Colin) open to both paranoia attacks and possible Consequences for asking too many questions
Speaking of which
the Web (or an analog (jonny and alex drop titles for entities in this world if smirke didn’t make up the same ones challenge)) took notice of what was goin on and got operatives into the OIAR
Lena is one, or else she works for one. (Insert here’s how annabelle caine can still win theories here)
Klaus figured out too much and got in the way of Machinations and thus the whole *gestures*
Gertrude and Decker noticed and separated from the OIAR as soon as they were able to bc they realized that shit had gone South but are still out there doin the good work
Alice ALSO done got recruited from out of the Magnus program as a child
The reason she keeps pushing people away from the sus stuff and seems to know more than she claims to is bc she is their PLANT still working for the OIAR
She got Sam hired bc he’s still got eldritch eyes (in general, but maybe also Eyes) on him and she wants him somewhere she can keep an eye on him AND keep him inside a spooky space so it’s less likely an unknown actor would come after him

to address the Thea stuff. the reasons ppl don't like her kinda matched to what I said at the end about ppl being more willing to forgive the white characters for things:
1. the age gap. it's only 4 years, and any relationship only begins after kevin is 18. and he was the one who had a crush on her when he was younger, not the other way around. People tend to spread lies about this, things that weren't said in the ec such as saying they're relationship started when he was 14 and she was 18, which I mentioned in my original anon.
2. the 'agression'. I don't think she's aggressive. she was angry yeah, which she had every right to be after kevin ghosted her. he was obviously going through a lot, but of course given he didn't communicate this, she didn't know. she can only work off what she knows. again I just see this as the fandom being very uncharitable to her. kevin chokes neil when he's angry so I really don't think she's the aggressive one in this relationship. and if she is, she's not alone.
3. devotion to the ravens. again, so is kevin. People forgive him for this because he's obviously been brainwashed by them. but so has she. again, just seems like people forgiving other characters for things they wouldn't forgive her for.
4. randomness of relationship with kevin. I don't think it's random? I'm not a fan of their relationship, but people love to ship kevin/Jean primarily cause they were ravens together. kevin and Thea were ravens together, it makes sense they'd grow close. they're both also very dedicated to exy, a common reason people ship neil/kevin. so idk? to everyone's taste ofc, but it still isn't a valid reason for her to get the hate she gets.
idk necessarily about people liking her more if she was a fox. probably? she's very similar to kevin, and people like him. and I can imagine people not liking him if he stayed a Raven and we saw him through a fox perspective. so you're probably right.
on her only having a scene or two and not being very likeable in them. I guess again, it asks the question of why she's not likeable in these scenes? I think people don't want to view things from her perspective, and there can be a lot of reasons for that ofc.
Jean has more scenes than her, but he's not 'likeable' in many of them. He's rude, just like Thea was. He holds Neil down when he's getting tortured. He arguably should be more disliked, but he's not. I think people are more willing to offer him understanding because they're more willing to see things from his perspective. He acts this way because he's a traumatised cult member, and that's exactly why Thea acts the way she does.
It's hard to describe the hate people have for her if you haven't seen it much, but more often than not it goes far beyond 'this character just doesn't show up much so idrc'. People tend to hate her with a passion similar to the hate they view Riko with. Again, people call her abusive and a pedophile semi-reguarly. It goes beyond her just being a little unlikeable.
There was a motivation for a decent number of fans to spread these lies about her character, and I'm curious what that motivation was I suppose? cause I certainly don't do that for characters I just find unlikeable. Or characters that didn't have many scenes. Even if most fans aren't actively racist, they've bought into and fueled lies that were likely spread with racist motivation.
i honestly don't really disagree with you on anything (like the age gap wasn't something I personally ever paid attention to, I was saying that's what other people have a problem with. and honestly I do think that's fair for them, it just never stuck out to me) except for the fourth point bc I will maintain that their relationship is random. not random in a 'these two people are incompatible' way but in a 'the first time we hear Kevin even has a girlfriend is like 2/3 into the last book of the series and the chemistry (to me at least) seemed incredibly lacking but we're supposed to assume they're in love'
but I think you just might be overestimating how much people think about her. again: she's a very very minor character and I don't think people will necessarily go out of their way to see things through her perspective because of that. honestly I feel like what you said about Jean explains it p well: he does worse things than Thea but, even though he's also minor, we see way more of him than Thea we see him vulnerable and at his worst and there's more there that shapes him as a complex person. I genuinely think that if she had even as much screen time as Jean it'd be a different conversation.
but however, out of all the minor characters in the series she is one of the ones that gets the least mercy from the fans and that definitely feels racist to me. i don't think people need to explain and dissect why they dislike a character (especially characters as complicated as Nora's) but the fact that it's so easy for fans to just jump on a hate train for the only canon WOC is deeply unsettling.
I think the complexity of Nora's characters actually make aftg fans really weird and intense when it comes to defending/attacking characters. I remembered being rlly taken aback by the Aaron and Nicky and like Allison hate that I saw when I first started engaging with other fans because so much of it just seemed not true and wayyyy overexaggerated??? idk if it's the fans themselves or the content that makes them so intense but.

Hi, I have a question that I hoped you or your followers could answer. I stopped watching tdp after S3 but now S6 here and I've heard many say that it's the best season we had since S2. I'm watching S4 now so it's been some time since I touched anything tdp. Now here is my question, which might be silly I apologize, why do the Moonshadow elves need assassins? As much as I remember there isn't any conflicts between the elves and the assassins were sent after Harrow and Ezran after the dragon King's death. So either the elves do have conflicts and it was cut out? Or the elves kill humans a lot, like they kill any human that they consider a threat to Xadia(or for revenge). As far as I remember they trained assassins so it's a reall job for them and you can't be an assassin if you just kill 2 humans a be done. Do we have any evidence of elves having conflicts with each other or sending assassins after other humans?
This is something I've wanted to write on but never did, so your ask made me smile when I saw it!
A very short answer to your question: No explicit evidence, but we can draw assumptions that the assassins were used -- however, I believe the assassins exist for cultural reasons as well.
A much longer answer to your question: A lot of series love the idea of assassins because they're cool and sexy, but don't like so much actually making their characters stone cold killers, so they end up being assassins who don't assassinate. TDP falls more into the latter camp, but there are some things that give you pause.
In the very first episode we have this exchange between Harrow and Viren:
VIREN: Assassins. HARROW, more resigned than surprised: I see. VIREN: A scout on patrol discovered them just before dawn. HARROW: Well, don't look so grim. We've fought off plenty of assassins. Haven't we, Pip? VIREN: It's different this time. We believe they're Moonshadow elves. HARROW, visibly more perturbed: Moonshadow elves? Then how did the scout escape?
They go on to express concern that tonight is a full moon, which means the Moonshadow elves will be at "the height of their power."
This conversation raises immediate questions. If they are used to fending off assassins, but Moonshadow elves are different, who the hell has been sending assassins after them? The human kingdoms aren't in active conflict with each other. Non-Moonshadow elves? Dissidents in the kingdom, like Queen Aanya has? All this despite Viren (admittedly not the most truthful person) stating it was a peaceful time in Katolis? Who knows! However, we can say that Moonshadow elves have a clear reputation as they're aware of how they operate and treat them as highly lethal. Later, when Viren tells his children they have "unwanted visitors" from Xadia, they jump straight to "assassins" instead of "invading army and/or dragon" which would be a logical assumption with Xadia and the human kingdoms being established as on the brink of open war.
Is this just human bias? The Moonshadow assassins take their job very seriously. We see throughout the show they have a number of rituals with very real consequences to ensure their devotion to their death cult. "We take (life) but we do not take it lightly." Runaan doesn't hesitate to send his most untried member off to kill a human. (He is, however, unable to tell berry juice from blood so maybe he's just LARPing as an assassin too.) Honestly, Rayla's presence almost feels like going after humans is a beginner mission, even if the human in question is guarded by a castle full of people. Still, if they aren't going after humans all the time, who would they be targeting?
In the trivia section for Elves on the TDP fan wiki it states "For the most part, there is unity among the elves. However, not all of the elven races get along, and conflict is not unheard of." Sadly, the citation is to some kind of creator interview that has been taken down and I can't find, so we can't rely on that -- if anybody knows the video in question, I'd be curious to hear the exact phrasing. Turning to available canon and ancillary canon material, in the short story 'The Queen's Mercy' we get this exchange:
“You are not afraid of me—but what of the dragons?” asked Kim’dael. “You would dare invoke their wrath?” “The dragons know better than to invoke mine,” Aditi said.
This implies Sunfire elves see themselves as a powerful independent force who resent the implication that they should answer to dragons. We also know that there are certain elves in an insular community that keep drakes as pets and mistreat them, something that doesn't seem to line up with the way other elven societies treat magical animals. I can believe there is some tension between Xadian sub-groups, but for the most part they do seem united as allies, if only because they have the 'common threat' of humanity to often bring them together. Maybe when there are less humans about, they are less united.
The Kim'dael above is a member of the Order of the Blood Moon -- Moonshadow elves who went vampiric and were exterminated by dragons. I don't believe it's outright stated Moonshadow assassins helped with this anti-vampirism campaign, but I assume so. In the Rayla backstory comic she decides to become an assassin after a run-in with this Bloodmoon elf. She wants to be like Runaan and protect others, and this includes protecting them from other elves. It seems very likely that Moonshadow assassins operate against internal threats to Xadian society like this. However, you may presume from this very noble description of being an assassin that within Moonshadow culture, 'assassin' seems equivalent to 'warrior.'
Personally, I think the Moonshadow assassins are partly an active combat force, and partly a ritualistic bit of tradition. Essentially, they play an almost ceremonial, spiritual role in the society. Moonshadow culture and magic is very centred around illusions and the line between life and death, and the assassins are perfect distillations of all of these elements. Even if they were never killing anyone, I could see them still existing and being seen as highly valued members of the society. Symbolic assassins, you know?
That being said, I do think they kill people -- (Runaan definitely seems to have done so as it's said he truly understands the value of a life and the taking of one) -- and though I think they probably primarily operate as an internal security force, based on human reactions to the mere whiff of them it's very possible they have infiltrated human kingdoms before. After all, we know they have a sneaky way in and out of the human kingdoms via the Moonstone Path. When the world was divided their Nexus was left in human territory so they have non-assassinating non-spying reasons to be visiting the human kingdoms, but paired with everything else it is interesting that they want such easy access to the human kingdoms. I'm not saying they were doing a lot of assassinations there -- it seems the degree of interaction between these two halves of the continent have intensified only recently -- but it's all very suggestive.
Ultimately, I think they probably don't kill a lot in general, but it would be really funny if the show would just go there. Like have Runaan look the camera dead in the eye and say "I have taken sixty-two lives and I don't regret a single one." Hashtag let assassins be assassins!
Thank you very much for the question, this is a subject I've thought at length about so I'm happy to finally discuss it. ♥ I hope my answer was helpful despite the lack of explicit evidence in any one direction.

Breath of the wild Dark Link au
I’ve been playing with this au on and off for literal years, but haven’t posted much in the way of writing for it, and I wanted to change that lol. This is just a bit of it, so it’s a little out of context, but I really just wanted to finally post some.
The au takes place after botw, but only by a few months, so totk isn’t mentioned or referenced at all (plus I haven’t played it lol so I’m more or less ignoring it here). Here it is, enjoy.
——————————————————————————————————
Link shivered as he absently plucked a stem of cool safflina and tucked it in his pouch, his breath coming out in a puffy cloud of steam in front of him. It was frigid up here, and even with the snowquill tunic’s gloves he could barely feel his fingers.
He’d been prowling around the edges of the Yiga base for a few hours now, and it was nearly dark, the temperature dropping to downright dangerous levels. He’d promised Zelda he wouldn’t sneak inside the base itself on this particular trip, but the lack of movement he’d so far observed was both concerning and boring. Nobody had seen any members of the cult since the attack where he’d been injured, not even the Gerudo, and they were practically next-door neighbors.
And that, along with the curse that had attacked Link, was too suspicious to ignore.
Link sighed, trying to rub some feeling into his fingers. Maybe since he’d survived the curse or whatever it had been in his injury, the Yiga had all decided to just give up on worshipping Ganon and trying to kill him, and were now living their lives as model citizens of Hyrule.
He snorted to himself. Right. And maybe they’ve started a shelter for homeless wolf pups.
A faint noise brought by the wind tickled his ear, and Link looked around for its origin, his hand going his sword. His eyes caught sight of a few figures far below him, and he felt a flicker of excitement, pulling out his slate and activating the scope feature. Flurries of snow were being blown around, making it a bit difficult to see, but when he zoomed in he could make out two Yiga footsoldiers standing next to a blademaster, the larger one holding a dark bundle of some kind.
Link frowned and tried to get a better look. This proved that the Yiga were still active, but what would they be carrying all the way up here? The soldiers below him weren’t very close to their base, and it was stupidly cold in this area. Maybe they were dumping banana peels or something? But why trek all the way up here?
The blademaster dropped the bundle to the ground, then reached for his windcleaver, lifting the blade high. Link startled as the bundle moved slightly, but a footsoldier put out a leg to kick it, and it fell still.
And that was when Link realized the bundle was a person.
Snapping his slate to his belt without a second thought, Link leapt off the ridge he was on, paraglider in hand. He was too far away to shoot any arrows without risking hitting the bundle, and all he could do was watch as the blademaster plunged his sword downwards. A muffled cry reached Link’s ears, and the blademaster removed his sword, crimson spattering the snow.
Outrage burned in Link’s chest, and now that he was close enough, he focused, drawing his bow and firing three arrows near simultaneously at the Yiga.
Two hit the first footsoldier as Link landed with a roll and unsheathed his sword in one swift movement, and the other arrow struck the blademaster in the shoulder. Link leapt forward at the large man, who deflected his blade with his own blood-stained one, and a small gust puffed from it as they clashed.
The first footsoldier had vanished into paper as soon as Link had hit him with the arrows, but the other had joined the fight, and the blademaster was stubbornly continuing to attack despite his own arrow wound, deflecting all of Link’s advances.
Link shot a glance towards the bundle on the ground, and felt a twist in his gut at the large amount of blood staining the snow.
Whoever was there didn’t have long if they were still alive.
He gritted his teeth and quickly swapped weapons, exchanging his royal guard sword for an ice rod. Ignoring the burst of cold that suddenly enveloped him, he dodged a thrust by the blademaster and flicked his wrist, sending a cloud of freezing magic in the Yigas’ direction.
It didn’t catch the blademaster all the way, but Link managed to get most of his left side, sending him reeling with the sudden freeze. The remaining footsoldier was frozen completely in place, and Link switched back to his sword as he jumped forward, whirling into a spin attack that knocked both of his adversaries backwards with a shattering crash of ice.
The footsoldier and blademaster looked at each other as they stumbled to their feet, then waved their hands in a complicated pattern, disappearing into the same paper as their earlier companion without a word.
Link breathed out a sigh of relief that clouded out in front of him, then turned to the motionless figure on the ground.
He wasted no time in sliding to his knees beside the Yiga's victim, grabbing in his bag for a fairy tonic. He didn’t have any of the actual creatures with him, a tonic made with their help would have to be enough. Pulling the blanket out of the way, Link prepared to give who he could now see was a teenager the bright pink liquid.
But he stopped short at the figure he’d uncovered, blood running cold.
His own face met him.
Link stared down at himself, brain refusing to believe what it was seeing.
Same nose, same mouth... the eyes were squeezed shut with pain, but he assumed they were the same as well. His skin lacked Link’s vast scar collection, and was a fair bit paler and gaunt, missing his own tanned color, but the main difference was his jet-black hair instead of Link’s own gold. And even then the color was really the only difference; it was the same length, though matted and dirty, even cut nearly the same.
Link swallowed.
This couldn’t be a coincidence. Not with everything that had happened with his injury and him and Zelda. This... this lookalike, must be connected somehow, to the wound, to him, to the Yiga...
...why had the Yiga tried to kill him?
His double whimpered, and Link snapped back to himself, shaking off his whirling thoughts.
Right. Injury. Questions could come later.
Link pulled the blanket further back so he could see what exactly he was dealing with, and breathed in sharply at the stab wound in his double’s stomach bleeding everywhere. He wasn’t wearing any clothes besides a pair of worn-out trousers, already stained with blood, and Link shook his head in dismay when he felt his freezing skin.
Link pressed the blanket back atop the injury with one hand in order to staunch the blood flow, and hopefully warm him a bit, and tried to ignore the unsteady gasp that came from his double at the pressure. He quickly uncorked the fairy tonic, then tilted his double’s head up to help him drink it. It took a few tries for him to coax his mouth open, but the pained noises coming from him slowed as Link finally helped him drink.
The hand that had been scrabbling weakly at the injury finally stilled, a weak sigh escaping him once the medicine was gone. One fairy tonic wasn’t enough to heal an injury of this caliber, but it would keep him alive long enough to get him somewhere safe.
...should he bring him somewhere safe?
Link hesitated as he looked at his double, biting his lip uncertainly.
He didn’t know a thing about the Hylian in front of him, other then the fact that they looked nearly identical to each other, and that the Yiga had tried to get rid of him. The second point was pretty indicative of the fact that they were at least both enemies of the Yiga, but... that didn’t necessarily mean they were allies either.
Was it safe to bring him to Hateno?
His double made a small noise of discomfort, and Link sighed, looking at all the blood in the snow. Even if he did mean them harm, he wouldn’t be able to do anything to them now, not with how injured he was.
Mind made up, Link made sure the flow of blood had truly slowed before gently lifting his double up, noting again with some worry how utterly cold he felt. He was also extremely lightweight, which he supposed made carrying him easier, but was yet another thing to be concerned about.
Link tucked the dry parts of the blanket as best he could around him, and started in surprise when his double’s eyes abruptly slitted open.
They were a bright, startling red from what Link could tell of them, and it almost looked like they were glowing in the fading light. His double blinked hazily at him, but then his eyes slipped closed again and Link couldn’t be sure if he imagined the glow or not.
He studied him again and was struck once more with how identical they looked, something squeezing his throat for some reason.
They could be brothers for all he knew.
Link swallowed, and decided that thinking about the implications of this wasn’t his priority right now, despite how much he wanted to.
Adjusting his hold, he pulled out the sheikah slate with one hand and continued to hold the clone with his other, tapping the shrine on the outskirts of Hateno, right by his house. Zelda was waiting for him there, as were more medical supplies. Hopefully she would know what to make of this.
Blue tendrils of light wrapped themselves around him and his double, and Link held tight as he felt the familiar sensation of travel with the sheikah slate warp him away into temporary nothingness.
The only sign that anyone had been in the area was the still-warm blood staining the snow.

ok prefacing this with the fact that i'm not fully caught up on tsv but i must speak. i have been so obsessed with brother faulkner the last couple of days.
i think the Thing about brother faulkner is that he's ruthless and amoral and a backstabbing murdering fanatic and a cult leader, and there's no effort made to conceal that fact, and still it's so impossible not to like him. and it isn't just that he has charisma, it's that he's so fucking genuine. he really believes everything he says, he absolutely wears his heart on his sleeve, the one time he outright lies (as far as i've seen), it's to protect carpenter.
so when he does something terrible, he so openly regrets it, he feels so unabashedly guilty about it, that you're left really wanting to believe that he's a fundamentally good person. and i'm still not convinced he isn't.
and isn't that kind of terrifying? he's so likeable, so genuine, so guileless, so easy to forgive, and he's actively seeking out what's sure to be a bright future as a literal cult leader.
as a member of the audience, i have been taken in by him. every awful thing he does feels like a fluke. i still believe there's hope for him.
and dude. i know i've been had.

ep 3 was fun though was very different from what i(and i guess we all) expected. though i guess i can understand why many are disappointed by it, many are using it as a way to hate on tae and jk, aside from the hate jm usually gets from the cult. honestly, being in fandom spaces surely teaches you how stupid and entitled some people can be.
after knowing that tae planned to join only 2 days before, i couldn't help but think of how different the trip would be if he didn't come with them. jk did say smtg more than 3-4 times, implying that he wasn't completely onboard with tae joining them. but that doesn't mean he hates v, he just might be disappointed but it would never make him actively dislike tae because tae and jk do love each other a lot.
but this is making my anticipation levels rise more for sapporo. i just wish we have more ep of sapporo than jeju.
Agreed. I think once a third party enters a duo, the dynamics are bound to change. We now have 3 persons to interact with each other as opposed to two. It means 4 different variations of interactions as opposed to 1.
And we did feel and see the difference with episodes 3 and 4 so far. But it was still enjoyable nonetheless. Did I miss just having jikook playing off of each other? Sure. But having Tae there didn't really bother me. And you could say he was hardly interactive in ep 4, as he wasn't feeling well (slept early/didn't go scuba diving).
Like you and everyone else who isn't in denial saw, Jimin and Jungkook (especially) drilled it home in ep 4 that AYS is a JIKOOK show (at least this season). It was planned for just the two of them and Tae asked to come along to Jeju, he was not invited per say. And this is not a dig at Tae, I'm just stating what the boys themselves said.
And here's the thing - unlike Jimin, Jungkook cannot school his features to save his life. Our maknae wears his heart on his sleeve and his thoughts on his countenance, and says what he means. So by JK's own words, we can deduce that he didn't necessarily want Tae there with him and Jimin. We can also deduce from his comment about Tae being adamant, that he and/or Jimin probably told Tae no on more than one occasion until he maybe broke them down. I can see JK being more staunch than Jimin (he's definitely softer for his soulmate Tae bear).
Does this mean JK doesn't like Tae? It most certainly does not, like you pointed out. Jungkook, no matter what solos, antis and toxic shippers would like people to believe, LOVES ALL of his hyungs! And you could see in their interactions in ep. 3 that Tae and JK still have that cute, mischievous little devils dynamic they had when they were younger. Jungkook and Tae will have fun together no matter what and where they are, I have no doubt.
What I think it boils down to is Jungkook's cute little selfish streak he has (a FACT stated by him and the members on more than one occasion). Here's a guy that is enlisting in a few months, potentially going to spend 18 months away from his love. That's difficult for anyone. So Jungkook would naturally want to take any opportunity he is given to spend time with that love. And this show falls into his lap?! So at least from my perspective, JK not really wanting Tae to come was his selfishness coming out a bit and wanting to spend time with just Jimin. It had nothing to do with him disliking Tae or anything, but rather Jungkook wanting to be with just Jimin. Which is why I think Jimin was the ultimate decider there in relenting to Tae's puppy eyes.
And to Tae's credit, I do think he gave them enough time to be together anyway (away from the cameras).
At the end of the day, he's their 3rd musketeer, and he would have been there for them through everything. Some may say well if he really loved them then he should have left them alone. Well, to that I say to look at it from his perspective too. At this point, Jikook may not have known they got through with the buddy system, but Tae knew for a fact that HE would not be with his best friends for the next 18 months (just look at that Vmin embrace at Jin's release). And so, he would have seen this as an opportunity to not only be with them for a short time, but to give ARMY a little taste of the maknae line. Two birds, one stone. So I don't fault him.
Some jikookers may not like that take but that's fine.
Anyway, we have one more Jeju episode to go with VMinKook, and I am enjoying everything so far because I simply appreciate whatever content BTS/jikook chooses to give us.
And then we're off to Sapporo!!!...Where Jikook already knew they were enlisting together.
Should be...interesting.

Are you lost? Are you hungry? Are you Thirsty? Don't worry about it my love. Here we are building the perfect world without agony, pain and despair. Just give me your heart in return.

Oke I had it in mind I couldn't stop thinking about it lol. So some brainstorming!
- Florence, Alfons and Roger grew up in a cult, because of their "blessings" they were planned to be the next heads of their cult, who would change the world
- they were put into much pressure, lessons for their "spirituality". They were 'cleansed' of the mistakes they had made by means of physical torture.
- growing up together they were really close, but Alfons developed in his early stage of childhood consciousness, that their suffering is not justified and questioned the existence of a "perfect" world ("If the perfect world has no pain, no suffering and no despair, why do we have to endure this?")
- on their twelfth birthday (even tho Roger was older than them, the cult declared that they would be the same age with the same birthday) Florence had the idea to steal three rings and gifted them to Alfons and Roger. So that they would always be connected.
- on the same evening Roger found a way to escape and Alfons, who was with him, was against it. Roger and Alfons often talked about the outside world together and what they would do with their freedom, so Alfons felt inclined to leave, but still wasn't sure, looking at the ring on his finger, that was too big for him. Roger knew the only thing, that held him off was Florence and even Roger felt conflicted just leaving her behind. But he was positive, that he would get her later, but pressured Alfons, if he still wanted to see them suffer everyday. With hesitation he denied and Roger promised him to come back and get Florence too.
- in the end they were picked up from the police after they reached a little city, but weren't listening to them, as they told them they live nearby in a little village
- as a reaction of the disappearance of Alfons and Roger the Village moved in fear of outsiders and the authorities, that when the Police got active after some weeks they disappeared.
- "You promised, we would get her. You promised it! But you betrayed her!"
"WE betrayed her Alfons! You were as desperate to leave and ending the days being in a cage. At least we are free right?"
- Alfons never forgave Roger and resented him
- Roger got adopted by a rich family and grew up in wealth and became a doctor
- Alfons lived in a foster family, where he met Elbert the first time
- when Florence heard, that Roger and Alfons disappeared she couldn't believe it and the other members punished her even harder, to make sure she would not make the same "mistake"
- 15 years went by and Alfons lived with Elbert, living life casually and enjoying the nightlife. To his distaste he figured out that Roger is living nearby and works as a doctor Alfons visited, much to his distaste and has now more contact with him. He also befriended a curious man with the name of Liam, but suddenly he disappeared and his Flatmate Harrison asked Alfons about his whereabouts.
- at some point when Alfons visited his regular Café he met a person who resembled a girl he sometimes dreamed about. She came closer to him, sitting next to him, her eyes were empty and dull, her smile cold.
"Hello Alfons. How are you doing? It's been a while."
He saw the ring she was wearing and he frowned. He knew the person in front of him was not the same. He could feel her calculating gaze on him and put his mask up, smiling politely to her. They were talking superficially, he felt something was off, the way she behaved, she talked. She didn't mention the cult on time. Suddenly she stood up wanting to leave and looked almost bitterly at Alfons.
"First I resented you for leaving me all alone. But I forgave you. Because I love you. So please come with me.", she held her hand to Alfons, who was surprised but realised quickly that all her words were hollow. He declined and when she left he saw Liam outside in a car.
