ATEEZ if they were dropped inside Genshin Impact

AN: I know there’s a term for this exact scenario but I can’t quite think of what it is exactly XD also, I’ll probably end up making this a full series if y’all want it. A couple of my friends ( @joychiri and @chuimoon 💜💜) and I randomly got the idea of what it would be like if the members of ATEEZ were suddenly dropped into the Genshin Impact universe so here’s what we ended up with.

Hongjoong

Hongjoong would probably end up being dropped in Fontaine because with their fashion and technology, it’d be one of the most fitting places for him to end up. He’d more specifically land somewhere in the Court of Fontaine. He’d probably end up with either a dendro or hydro vision, but I’m leaning a bit more toward a dendro vision because of his pursuit of learning and trying out different styles of music. Hongjoong also gives off bow-user vibes, similar to Tighnari and Collei.

Seonghwa

Seonghwa would end up somewhere in Liyue when he first gets dropped in Teyvat. I’d wager either around Stone Gate or in Jueyun Karst. There isn’t as much of a reason compared to Hongjoong, it’s really just the vibes he gives off. He’d probably end up with a cryo vision which is fitting because of the fact that he originally was going to be a rapper but ended up debuting as a vocalist. That, along with his insecurities when it came to his singing voice predebut, adds to why he’d have a cryo vision. Seonghwa would be a sword user for fairly obvious reasons (Wonderland, Kingdom version to be specific).

Yunho

Yunho would end up landing in Mondstat. Probably somewhere just outside of the main city, like Springvale. I don’t have a specific reason why, but Yunho would have a hydro vision. As much as I want to say that he’d be a claymore user, I feel like he’d actually be a catalyst user, similar to Neuvillette. He just gives me hydro catalyst vibes.

Yeosang

Now Yeosang is a unique one. He’d also land in Fontaine, probably somewhere near Marcotte Station. This is mainly because of Yeosang’s love of building and flying drones. I feel like he’d end up welding two visions. The first one being anemo because predebut Yeosang and up until fairly recently when he decided to suddenly beef up, that man was a bit of a twink (I say with the most love possible). I have yet to see a male anemo user that isn’t a twink. I feel like he’d also end up wielding a dendro vision because of his insane duality. Plus, that one performance of Bouncy where he’s in the green shirt, forest fae princess vibes right there. He also would probably end up being a catalyst user because, once again, fae princess.

San

San would probably end up in one of the abandoned villages located on Serai Island which is in Inazuma. He honestly gives me Inazuma vibes, which is one of the biggest reasons that he’d end up there. I could see him having an electro vision. Once again, no specific reason, it’s just the vision that I think fits him best. San would also wield either a sword or a polearm. I’m leaning more towards a polearm because of his martial arts training, plus I imagine him doing the types of aerials that Thoma does when he’s using his elemental skill.

Mingi

Mingi would land either in Sumeru or Inazuma. If he were to land in Sumeru, it’d probably be in either Gandharva Villa or Port Ormos. If he landed in Inazuma, however, he’d probably end up near the Kamisato Estate or somewhere in Ritou. With his passion and fire (no pun intended) that he displays when he’s rapping, I imagine him with a pyro vision. Plus his stage presence is also very fitting for his vision. Mingi would probably end up as a claymore user similar to Dehya and Diluc and have a quicker attack sequence similar to how Itto’s attack pattern is in game.

Wooyoung

Wooyoung, the brat that he is, would also end up in Liyue. The Heavenly Principles had probably intended for him to land elsewhere, but he’d likely will himself to land in Liyue with Seonghwa, just to be a menace to him. They likely would still be separated but would be the first to reunite because Wooyoung is persistent. He’d end up having an anemo vision because, once again, I have yet to see a non-twink male anemo character. Plus, that one move in Crazy Form he does before the chorus, twink behavior and no one can convince me otherwise. I can see him using a polearm because of how agile that man is. Like, I’d say he’s about as agile as Xiao with the personality of Heizou.

Jongho

Now last, but certainly not least, we have Jongho. Jongho would probably end up on Sumeru. More specifically he’d probably end up in either Sumeru City or Port Ormos. I would envision him with a geo vision because of his steadfastness and commitment to his craft. Plus, he just seems like he’d have a geo vision. Lastly, I think he’d use either a claymore like Navia and Itto or a polearm like Zhongli and Yun Jin.

Vil Schoenheit

Vil lives in the green part of Sumeru. Specificaly in the city of Sumeru or near the the borders of Sumeru and Fontaine

His Mom is from Sumeru and his dad is from Fontaine so his a mix of both

He is an expert at using weapons but he prefers being a catalyst

this is just like, what if aot characters were in genshin okay? okay cool. eren would definitely be a pyro character, he’s strong but i don’t think he’d be a claymore user. honestly i can see him being a polearm user, and he’d probably have a skill related to his dash called “keep moving forward” maybe he lunges forward and deals a ton of pyro damage. armin is a hydro user, one hundred percent. i’d say hydro catalyst but to be honest? i think he’d be a hydro bow user who actually uses his bow. his ult would probably be a giant hydro explosion of some kind, maybe he’d be a burst dps. he probably needs a lot of energy recharge though, maybe he’d even scale off of it like mona. erwin would either be anemo or geo, but anemo fits his overall look better so i’m working off of that. our first anemo dilf. he’s a lame-ass sword user, and his kit would be like a mix of xiao & jean. or i can even see him being a tank that heals himself using his teammates hp so he can stay on the field for longer, it’d probably have a multiplier where the higher it was leveled, the less he would need from his teammates but it would be brutal at lower levels. mikasa is definitely a cryo user. she’d probably use a claymore. idk she just gives me similar vibes to eula [probably because i dislike both of them]. she’s 110% a support. she’s a must-have in eren melt comps. overall eren armin and mikasa would work very well in a team comp called “ema” hange uses electro because a lot of electro users are like, fucking weird you know? they’d be a polearm user and would likely be a burst dps/support. their skill would leave thunder spears on the field and their burst would set them off and do a ton of damage, similar to yae miko except hange is non-binary and unhinged. levi i’d say anemo because d.ad friends but tbh i’m thinking geo. he’d be a sword user who would be mostly used for basic attacks, his skill & burst would buff his overall basic atk damage. maybe he’d even have a geo infusion burst? but yeah, god-tier basic atks from the ackerman. historia would be like bennett in early game, she’d be a 4* and everyone would say “oh she’s useless, her kit is so weird” and then they would actually figure out how to play her and she’d be ss-ranked on everyone’s tier lists. she’d probably be a hydro support with a ton of damage coming from her elemental skill. she probably has a skill similar to xingqiu’s where she heals a tiny bit, and i think she’d be a polearm user and have a burst similar to rosaria’s, where she leaves something on the field that applies hydro periodically. jean is another geo character and he’d be really good in very specific comps, like gorou. he’s probably a catalyst user with really good shields. he’d be very niche though, and people would probably only pull for him if they were super meta or if they just liked him as a character. sasha is a pyro bow user 110%. she plays into the “emergency food paimon” jokes and she’s a really good support. i think she’d scale off of defense so it’d be hard to make her a main dps but her shields would be better than jean’s and she’d probably heal too. maybe like a pyro diona? she could be the final character in the ema comp, but she’d also work well with connie and jean. connie is like lowkey useless unless you build him right. he’d probably be an anemo sword user and he has really low defense, so he needs shields, which is why he works well with sasha & jean. i think he’d probably be a sub-dps in a nice quickswap team where you drop everyone’s skills to charge up their ults and then let them all loose. annie would be a hydro claymore user and she’d be one of the more old-fashioned selfish dps characters. her burst gives her a hydro infusion and it’s very strong but goes away if you switch out. her skills probably scale off of elemental mastery and atk% so she’d be a little annoying to build but once her stats are in order she does incredible damage. i feel like she should have a shield because of the hardening but i feel like that’s a bit much. ymir [the gay one] is definitely an electro

character who does extremely well in a taser comp with historia. you would drop historia’s ult and it would apply hydro for ymir to electro-charge. look, one of the lesbians always has to be an electro user, it’s the law of the genshin universe. and yeah i’m not sure about a weapon for her but maybe she’d use a sword or a claymore. she’d probably have a very short, but powerful, electro infusion after her burst. reiner is a geo tank who heals based on the damage his shield takes. you can’t look at the armored titan and tell me it wouldn’t be a tank character. he’s probably a claymore user and either scales off of hp or def. i don’t have a lot to say about him. bertholdt is a very squishy catalyst user, he probably has a lame element like cryo, and he works well with reiner because he needs to be on the field to do damage, but he takes a lot of damage so he needs the shields and heals. like armin, his burst is probably a fucking explosion with one round of a ton of damage. he’s very popular in one-shot comps. zeke would probably be the boss you need to k.ll to ascend half of the characters. he’s really fucking annoying and very monkey-themed and it’s the worst fight ever. [levi’s kit is very good against him, i wonder why] willy tybur is also a weird boss fight. he uses shadow puppets to attack you and you’d probably fight him in fontaine on a giant stage. i know he’s a minor character in aot but his fight has some potential you know? i’m thinking in the second phase of his fight he hands it over to lara and you have to beat up the warhammer somehow. eventually you just learn to aim for her ankles. mike is a fucking weird npc who smells random shit. floch is a pathetic open-world enemy like a hilichurl but uglier.

Noodles:

Hydro bow user. Mostly cuz a bow seems easier to get a hang of and she'd probably not want to be too close to her enemies. Hydro because there's a ton of chill hydro characters and her personality doesn't seem as bold as users of the other elements. She's probably a healer as well and can make sheilds. She would always accidentally leave her bow lying around by accident though. She takes her time doing commissions and she likes to work in groups (especially if she knows she can't do it alone). Least likely to spend all her mora at once. She damn near cries every time she sees a ruin guard or almost any big geo enemy in liyue

Al:

Pyro catalyst user. He's so overdramatic for no reason. You know how fischl flips her hair/poses after she attacks? Yeah, he does something pretty similar. He's just very smug. He does the bare minimum and then goes off to relax. Pretty much, he does all his commissions super early and then does nothing for the rest of the day. He'd rather work alone but if someone wants to come with him, he wouldn't mind. They'd just have to manage to keep up cuz he's fast as f u c k. He explores dragonspine for fun (an absolute crime). Never looks bad in cutscenes.

Gabe:

Dendro sword user. Poor dude sometimes tries to negotiate with treasure hoarders. He gets hurt pretty often so you can always find him by one of the statues. He constantly looks like a mess. He prefers working in groups, and he gets really upset if he has to do a quest alone. You know how Xinyan uses her guitar to swing at people instead of her claymore sometimes? Yeah, he sometimes wacks enemies with thorned vines. Kind of a healer? Not the best though. He always forgets how much mora he has saved and ends up using all of it really fast. His hangout would be the most r e l a x i n g thing you've ever experienced

Cup:

Dendro (or hydro) polearm user. I don't know why, but you know Xiangling's charged attack? I can see him wanting to do that shit so bad. I would say he'd be a sword user, but he just wants to poke people and run. He constantly drops his polearm at the worst moments. Like he could be sneaking past a ruin hunter/guard and he would accidentally drop it and wake them up. Also he has no idea how elemental reactions work. He swears he can work alone but when he gets tired he drags someone with him. Spends all his mora on food. He acts like his polearm is the heaviest thing on earth. Also his hangout would be the most chaotic shit known to man. Oh, and he won't leave Jean alone for some reason. He just likes annoying her.

Bella:

Cryo catalyst user. Sometimes she gets mad and throws it at enemies. She makes fun of Cup for being a dendro user (cuz who tf is a dendro user?) She likes to work alone and does her daily commissions as soon as they come out. And it never ends well because she gets ambushed all the time. Don't ask if she needs help, she won't accept it. Nothing can describe her hate for dragonspine. She doesn't get a hangout, she's a bitch

Prompt:

Geo claymore user. I won't lie, he's almost exactly like Zhongli except for the fact that he's responsible with his mora. Well, most of the time that is. He does his daily commissions whenever he has time, typically last minute. He fears nothing. He's the only one that's prepared for every occasion. A random ruin hunter spawning? He's got it. A super annoying whopper flower? It's already dead. One thing he hates are the dendro slimes. Like bitch stay still. His elemental skill probably has something to do with his tail. He's also very loud when he swings his claymore. Like you'd hear random noise and you'd automatically know it's him

Writer:

Anemo sword user. She likes doing her commissions all in one go whenever she feels like doing them. She doesn't even like doing commissions unless they're an actual challenge. You can typically find her running around monstadt looking for something to fight. She never has mora and typically does work for other people so she can take their mora. She once beat a treasure hoarder to death with their own shovel.

Shrimp:

Cryo sword user. She forgets how to use her sword mid-battle and gets hurt a bunch. Sometimes she just gets annoyed with herself and tries to take down the cryo cube by herself (it doesn't end well). She also forgets that she has commissions in general so she only does them when someone reminds her to. She gets intimidated by anything taller than her. Pretends to fight the statues. She rarely has enough mora to get her through the days.

Ikea:

Anemo sword user. Somehow never runs out of mora. Doesn't like doing commissions all in one go, but either way they get done so it doesn't matter. She always forgets what she's going and why she's doing it. Which is why Mary or Mirr0r always goes with her so she doesn't straight up die for that exact reason. She doesn't mind doing lil tasks along the way. Her favorite thing has got to be opening chests, even if she doesn't get much out of them

Mary:

Pyro polearm user. Literally everything is the same, no matter how big the enemy is, she will protect Ikea with her life. Other than that, nothing is really that important to her.

Mirror:

Cryo polearm user. Doesn't do their tasks all in one go; they're just very spaced out but they somehow get it done. Probably survives on no mora somehow. Just kills everything to get it over with.

That one anon:

Electro catalyst user. Just uses a bunch of charged attacks and hopes for the best. They're just very scared of everything. #1 procrastinator. They like doing quests and challenges with other people. They sorta get sad when they have to kill something. They wonder why they got a vision in the first place

Bird:

Hydro sword user. Literally the most normal person here. Always does his commissions in the afternoon and then offers to help anyone who needs it. The thing is, it didn't take him too long to get used to his sword. He used to like, jab it at things for no reason. Also survives on no mora.

Eyes:

Anemo catalyst user. Doesn't really know what's going on half of the time, so he just doesn't use his mora. He scares away most enemies before he even gets to kill them, which makes commissions way easier. Seeing him and a ruin hunter fight has got to be the most scary thing you've ever seen. Honestly he's probably a fan favorite let's not lie—

Citypop:

Cryo sword user. He gives me Chongyun vibes, but I can't see him carrying a bigass claymore. He's pretty responsible with his mora. But sometimes he does like, no damage for some reason unless he crits. It's a whole gamble tbh. He probably had a hangout, it's not that out of this world though.

Cookie:

Electro claymore user. She will beat everyone up, and she never gets hurt somehow. She never has mora either. She screams when she's fighting something, even if she's fully capable of taking it down. Half of the time she isn't even doing her quests, just messing around. She also wants to beat the shit out of Childe

1. i am 5’0 and i have not grown an inch in 6 years sadly

2. i mean i’ve played baseball and softball during gum class but i’m a bit of a clutz so i didn’t exactly do the best

3. my favorite class at school right now would probably be orchestra or music theory! i really like music and i really find it both fun and interesting

4. nature is honestly really pretty but i either get sunburnt after 30 mins or i get bit by a ton of bugs sadly. so i try to stay inside more often to prevent that ahah

5. one thing on my bucket list would be to travel to an european city and just explore and experience the cultures there! i would really love to explore the world and just learn more about different cultures and try to interact with them too

6. my favorite color would be the pink you often see in sunsets. i really love that color because it reminds me a lot of when i was younger which is really nice because i don’t remember a lot from when i was a child

7. my favorite boss currently is azhdaha. honestly i feel like he’s just a giant geo puppy who lacks affection and i really want to give him a hug :(( fighting wise, i just really like bringing a healer to co-op and just vibing to the music because its honestly really good

8. for a secret i’m kinda both grateful and sad that i can’t remember a lot of memories because i want to know what my childhood was like but i’m also really scared that it would be something horrible that i would want to forget

A sword user with a Cryo Vision. Clumsiness doesn't lend itself to catalyst or polearm use, and a claymore seems too big. A sword is the perfect baseline weapon. Cryo because of your tendency to get burnt, your affinity for healers, and your lack of memory. The cold is a rather special thing...

assigning some of my favorite characters genshin mains and teams because i Can and i Will

i know the amount of 5stars ive assigned a lot of them is lowkey unreasonable but i dont care dhsjfbsk this is purely based on vibes or if it fits their character also this is my opinion so let me vibe please

suzuya juuzou - rosaria main definitely. he’d also love and use hu tao, xiao, and zhongli (shinopapa vibes *cries*). i realize now i unknowingly gave him a full polearm team, but honestly it makes sense bc he would Absolutely Love all the polearm users, the polearms remind him of his scythe (he wishes rosaria had an actual scythe). i also think he would love scaramouche and is anxiously awaiting him becoming playable (me too dude, me too)

nagito komaeda - bennett main !!! he would see that unlucky boy and be like , you are me, i love you, you are precious, im maining you (he would be so much nicer to bennett than he is himself and he would probably cry while doing bennett’s hangout event). i think he’d also use ganyu, xiao, and ningguang (i have no basis for the latter three that was entirely gut feeling but i think it fits honestly). i also think he would have almost every 5star unlocked, as well as every 4star at c4 or higher, because his luck is just too damn good- although his bad luck kicked in and almost stopped him from getting xiao who he really wanted, so he whaled in order to get him

inosuke hashibira - not only would he main razor, but he would probably refuse to ever switch to any other character- he would have the starters (traveler [whose name is “INOSUKE” in all caps just like that], kaeya, and amber) but theyre all level 20 and razor is constantly on life support, but he is completely maxed out (c6, level 90, full level talents, fully levelled wolf’s gravestone). tanjiro is constantly yelling at him to start using more characters (he is the reason the others are level 20) but that just makes inosuke even more stubborn. should he eventually cave, he would probably also use venti (reminds him of zenitsu), childe (reminds him of tanjiro), and noelle (for nezuko- although he had to ask tanjiro for some help on that one)

ran mitake - Definitely xinyan main <3 i mean, the sole rock n roll musician of liyue ?? you Cannot !! tell me she wouldnt love xinyan. she would also have a super rad support barbara, as well as jean (reminds her of tomoe) and xingqiu (reminds her of moca). she doesnt have the room on her team, but she also really loves noelle because she reminds her of tsugumi, and amber because she reminds her of himari. she used them for a very long time because of that, she got clowned by some players who think the starter characters suck, but its ok cause ran knows theyre wrong and she does what she wants<3

ako udagawa - i struggled here bc i think she would absolutely Love a bunch of them but lets see- she would definitely Main and kin fischl for so many reasons (her style, the way she speaks, her general personality, and she wants a pet like oz). i think she’d also really love rosaria and hu tao (she Loves their aesthetics as well as how they are in battle, although hu tao is typically on the verge of death bc she always forgets to make food), as well as jean and sucrose (those two remind her of tomoe and rinko respectively and she’d probably switch them out depending on what she’s doing)

rinko shirokane - definitely sucrose main <3 she would also probably use fischl bc ako vibes !! plus i think she would be SUPER great at doing aimed shots and would do SO MUCH DAMAGE when hitting oz with an aimed shot- as well as mona bc i hc that she’s really interested in astrology and also hc that she loves mage characters in games (whether that is canon or not, i am not sure). also she would use bennett, both for extra healing as well as really loving him- she probably feels so bad for the poor unlucky boy awww :((

rio ranger - he switches between maining xiao and childe. he also uses diluc and rosaria !! he used kaeya for a very long time, but when rosaria came out he was like “I NEED HER”- pulling for rosaria was actually how he got childe, but he didnt mind because he actually really liked childe

reko yabusame - i really tried to give her someone other than xinyan but honestly i think she would love xinyan too much to not main her. she loves her style and her backstory so much, and she really wishes xinyan got more content. she also uses childe (bc alice vibes- no its not bc of the murderer stuff, i personally think they relate in other ways), sucrose (bc nao vibes), and beidou (bc she thinks beidou is hot as fuck, plus good elemental reactions and defense)

joe tazuna - i cant quite pick a single main but i think his team would be razor (dogboy joe go brr), bennett, venti, and maybe klee !! he loves the vibes of them all. he pulled jean and considered using her because she has sara vibes, but he decided to stick with venti mainly because he simply did not feel like grinding for her materials (i mean can you blame him? im currently struggling enough with that)

mutsuki tooru - first off the only reason he started playing was bc he saw saiko playing it and was intrigued. he would switch between maining xingqiu and venti !! it was love at first sight for him. he thought he would never get venti for a long long time, bc he missed venti’s first run. he used chongyun up until he pulled venti !! he also started saving his primos as soon as he heard speculation about venti having a rerun- and sure enough, he pulled him!! he felt like the happiest boy on earth<3 he would also have xiangling because he likes her vibes as well as her abilities, as well as albedo just bc he really likes him (he’s super invested in the homonculus + khaenri’ah theories and probably would make multiple tumblr posts about it)

ibuki mioda - xiny- *SMACKED* Actually i think she would have xinyan on her team, but her main? either klee or xiangling !! she loves their vibes n they lowkey remind her of herself. i also think she would really like diona for some reason, and probably beidou, idk why i just get the vibes !! she would have a Sick diona i just know it

chihiro fujisaki - i feel like he would switch between maining yanfei and sucrose !! yanfei just bc they like her, sucrose bc he relates to her a Lot <3 they would also use ningguang bc he admires her intelligence and determination, as well as chongyun- i almost gave him barbara, and i think they would love to use her, but he probably figured its not a good idea to have a full catalyst team despite how much they love catalysts, so he went with their next fave !! plus he knows claymores are super useful so it was a huge plus. he’s Super smart so they have so many tactics he uses, they’re Amazing with artifacts, and they Live for skillfully executed elemental combos

mikan tsumiki - she would have a full healer team, no doubt. barbara main !! duuuude she would have the SICKEST dps barbara omggg- she would do So much damage And be an Amazing healer !!! plus bennett, jean, and qiqi !!! she loves them all very much <3
