Macaque breathes a sight of relief, thinking to himself, Good, he’s not being dramatic this time—

“So sorry to ruin the fun you were having, princess,” Fengshe yells with a laugh. He pushes Red Son and MK towards the others, facing the two remaining spider demons and outstretching his arms. “But this particular play must come to an early end!”

Never mind… shouldn’t have thought that so soon.

Tell me how I am supposed to sleep tonight when all I can think about is Big Dent Energy and the fact that both Harveys are too much for my sanity.

Like, it's one thing for fugue!Harvey to be attractive (which yeah, that's not even a question - have you seen the man?) But to give him excellent sass and dialogue and expressions? How am I not supposed to fall in love immediately with this man? He's amazing.

Another thing I adored from the previous update was the further bonding between mc and Adil. I looove how author shows uncertainty our heroine feels. She lacks experience in relationships, thus she's overthinking constantly, fighting with her feelings, trying to distance herself, yet she's still overflown with excitement.

Mc's behaviour is the perfect depiction of person in love and I admire author so much for showing it so realistically.

Just as I admire her for the last scene with Adil from season 1. It could turn to being cheesy so easily with all this quoting and secret plan reveal, but instead it was so emotional. Emotional, but mature, because both of them decided to actually hear each other out. To be fully honest with their feelings instead of succumbing to blaming the other side for their pain. And I can't express enough, how much I love Adil for acting so humbly, calmly and tenderly towards mc in this situation. He never looks down on her and her feelings. And in return, she put her trust in him.

And the last thing I love about this scene...

Adil's hair and abs reveal! I imagined him with slightly lighter and longer hair, but hey, I don't complain. He's as stunning as before 😍

Mimic: Favorite magic item that you've acquired?

That would have to be a homebrew item from my current DM, who happens to be @we-are-scribe's partner. It's a talisman that grants my sorcerer +1 to her spell save DC and serves as her spellcasting focus, along with a daily use of Divination or Scrying, and it can be used to attune or un-attune magic items in a minute instead of an hour. There's some sort of reservoir of power in the talisman that's been empty since I acquired it, I look forward to finding out what else it can do...
