something something Cerberus carrying Nico on his back when he’s patrolling around the palace. And the three-headed dog is so, so big that his back feels like a king-sized bed, and his thick fur doesn’t help at all when it’s just as warm and soft as a blanket.

So Nico ends up falling asleep on Cerberus’ back, only to blink his eyes open hours later to the soft purring underneath him and the Underworld’s gray sky above him - every time.
