one thing that’s always bothered me is when a popular artist from another smp starts drawing an mcyt in a different smp and then everyone starts calling them one of the main artists for that mcyt. no they are not. they just started drawing them two weeks ago. they’re gonna drop them in two more weeks.

those same people then don’t call artists who have drawn that mcyt for years a main artist. atp it’s not how long you’ve been drawing them or dedicated you are to them it’s about how popular you are. i hate that so much.

this is about one specific artist (i won’t say who) but i’ve seen this happen many times. this situation in particular is one popular artist for one side of the mcyt fandom started drawing an mcyt i’ve been drawing for years and is now being considered more of a main artist than me. bsfr. you’ve been here not even a month and i’ve been here years.

feel free to disagree with me idc but this just really irks me

In another way, when drawing fan art of dyvj, I would always try to remember why are characters the way they are and what does it mean if you are substract or add certain things. Subtracting that Dion is black would mean he's not really Dion because race kinda is part of his character, while adding a certain thing like a nose piercing is like oh yeah whatever that's fun and could be a fun headcanon to run along.

It's not a real answer, yes, because the question is pretty case-by-case-by-case-by-case where you kinda have to gauge it for yourself. That being said, I think your thing is fine. The real important part about CG's physical design is that she's ripped everything else is a-okay.

The yellow circle is a substrate, it basically activates the enzyme (the pink thing). The green triangle is a inhibitor! (It bonds to an enzyme and changes the shape of it so that the substrate can't react with the enzyme). The joke is that substrates and enzymes are like a key and lock- so the substrate shouldn't have to have "their name on it" because they are literally made for the enzyme hehe

The inhibitor is the one who's taking the substrate's spot!

My dad got me this quote when I finished AP Bio and said to him word for word, "If I ever see a fucking enzyme again I think I will explode." He immediately ran to order this shirt for me- and I laughed SO HARD when he gave it to me XD
