azula as zuko’s evil advisor is so funny to me i actually fuck so hard w this concept. she gives zuko advice and then zuko looks across the room to sokka and sokka just discreetly gives him a thumbs up or thumbs down. one weekend sokka, aang, mai, toph, suki, katara, and anyone else who might have a modicum of common sense all go out of town for like. omashu coachella or smth. and when they come back the entire palace is in shambles, zuko’s just sitting on his throne shinji style, and he’s just like “i’m so sorry….. her advice seemed so cogent….. she made trickle down economics seem so reasonable……. why weren’t you there….. YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE, GODDAMMIT!!!!!!!” while azula slyly sips from a cunty chalice she had personally made just for moments like this.

Isn't it fun how everyone saw what terrified them most, but Nya's was so "unbelievable" that she broke out instantly? She was shown the one thing that was supposed to terrify her, make her spiral. But of course it wasn't real. It's Jay. If there's one thing she never once doubted, its that Jay is absolutely smitten, so of course he'd never forget her. What a silly thing to think, to be afraid of. She went through so damn much for this boy, and him for her, and we know how she is. Wouldn't it be petrifying if all that work, all that emotional turmoil, that clawing for love, could be forgotten just like that? Its quite a feat, really, that she can finally be confident in knowing such a fear is irrational.

It was easy to break free from such a place. It was only ever meant to scare her, and she has nothing to be afraid of. Right?

Love learning new things just like the other day someone said that, apparently, in order to lean on Miles' shoulder Gwen had to use extra strength and concentration cuz it's already hard to sit upside down and she made it even more difficult by balancing her weight enough to lean her upper body towards another person and it made me think of how she didn't hold hands with him which was way easier to do in that position but she felt so bad that she rejected him that she said "fuck gravity he needs to know that I care. I already fell for him I might as well fall down too"

happy spring. i'm having some evan rosier thoughts

luna gets her spacey, faraway quality from evan. she has a lightness that he didn't (something in his manner is unavoidably Brutal) but her unearthliness feels like his. i like evan as smart but utterly indifferent to school— he pulls terrible grades without blinking twice, because his mind is on his experiments. he seems a poor, inattentive, forgettable student in hand-me-down clothes. he is utterly unremarkable unless you know him, in which case his blandness suddenly becomes frightening

evan wouldn't dissect barty!! his entire life is measured in his careful (symbolic but also often literal) possession, understanding, & vivisection of that which interests him. he grew up with butterflies pinned to his walls and salamanders gutted under his cutting spells. barty fascinates him because he is the one thing that evan cannot understand or control— barty is such a walking contradiction he seems impossible. that is the seat of evan's longing and he would find it crude and profane to reduce that complicated tangle to flesh. evan wouldn't vivisect barty but he would probably instruct barty through vivisecting him.
