Hey hey hey! Im so glad that you're back I was wondering if you happen to know the anime welcome to demon school iruma kun! Very sweet and fluffy and some angst highly recommend ( and I really hope you know it because the fandom is small and I want to make request from you at another time)
And I have a request! Can we get cupcake valkerye reader? She is consider to be the youngest of the sisters ( but and adult) and is the most kindest but she's a bit of an air head and cant really tell the difference between the gods and humans.
The only thing she knows is to slap as hard as she possiblely can and run away screaming pervert at anyone who asks her to marry her.
She quickly runs to papa adam and tells him shile hiding behind mama eve scared of marrying some one she doesnt know.
Zeus and odin try to convince her to give one of their sons a chance but she can only cry saying that they were scary and running away again to her mama and papa
Hello, my darling, I unfortunately don’t know Welcome to Demon School, other than what the main character looks like so I won’t be able to write that one, but the cupcake one is no problem!
-You were the youngest of the Valkyries, not necessarily by age, as you were an adult, but you were the newest warrior to become a Valkyrie, so by default, you were the youngest Valkyrie.
-You were a complete and utter cupcake mixed with rainbows and sunshine- it was impossible for anyone to hate you or even be mean to you and if they did that was an invitation for an immediate ass beating by those who loved and cared about you.
-Many knew of you and knew of your beauty- you were one of the most highly sought after females in Valhalla and so many wanted to marry you and have you for your own.
-However, they also knew what an airhead you were- you had no idea who was a god and who was a human, being nice to anyone you came across, which many enjoyed, and they couldn’t help but laugh, seeing that you were such a ditz.
-However, despite your ditzy nature, you were still a Valkyrie, a battle maiden, so you knew how to fight, but you only ever fought if someone around you was being accosted or if you were hit on, as you hated hurting others.
-Adam- your adoptive father and Brunnhilde taught you- since you were an airhead, that if anyone ever asked you to marry them, to bitch slap them and run to one of them or Eve and they would handle it from there.
-Many complained to Adam and Brunnhilde about wanting to marry you, but due to their training and their threats, protecting you, they couldn’t get close to you without potentially upsetting you or getting slapped…. Or getting threatened by your big sisters and father figure.
-You greeted Zeus and Odin warmly when they approached you, you had learned that these two were both gods, and some of the most powerful ones and they both greeted you in return before Zeus spoke, “We have a question for you Y/N- have you ever thought about dating?”
-Before you could wind up for a slap, Odin spoke, getting your attention, “Not us! We just wanted to know what your thoughts were about dating.”
-You smiled warmly, filling them with a warm fluffy feeling, “I never really thought about it- Papa and my big sisters told me that all men are animals and they don’t deserve to marry me!”
-The two thanked you for your answer before seeking out Brunnhilde and Adam to demand they fix the problem they had created because Odin wanted you to marry Thor and Zeus wanted you to marry Hercules, Hermes, Ares, or Apollo.
-They were met with laughter, amused by their plight while Odin and Zeus didn’t find it very funny because their sons all really liked you.
-Before Adam could say anything there was a resounding SLAP sound coming from outside before you ran in and right into Brunnhilde’s arms before they saw Apollo twitching on the ground nearby, a red handprint on his face.
-You sniffled softly, looking up at Brunnhilde with teary eyes, “He asked me to marry him then wanted to see my panties!” Zeus, who was originally mad to see that you attacked his son, immediately forgave you as he nodded softly, something Adam saw as Adam stormed out to have a word with Apollo.
-Odin sighed softly, as this conversation wasn’t going to go anywhere, “She may want to marry one day, Brunnhilde, someone that she won’t slap when he asks her.” Brunnhilde just bowed her head, “And I understand this, Lord Odin, and I will support Y/N when that time comes, but for now, I will protect her from those who make demands of her.”
-Odin relented easier than Zeus did, who tried to whine and complain to Brunnhilde who immediately threw him out.
-She sighed softly, hugging you close as you sat together on the couch, “You haven’t found anyone that you don’t want to slap, have you?” you cupped your cheeks gently, turning from her with a shy blush which made her freeze in shock before she patted her head, “You’re strong- you’ll be able to handle whoever it is.”
-You beamed up at her, thanking her before thinking about the man who had caught your eye, wanting to keep it a secret a bit longer.

I have read a funny fic (not finished, sadly) where Kalego's wicked phase was him being VERY VERY OVERPROTECTIVE. He was keeping his student in the royal one and didn't le them go away from his watch, or anyone else enter, even Balam XD (and the staff decide to call Narnia for help)
And now i imagine a wicked phase like that : he would lock up himself and the misfits in the royal class and would let anyone get in or get out. NOBODY. He would keep his student under his watch because he refuse to let them being hurt. So keeping them under his watch is the best way.
He would see any other adult as threats for his students, even Balam. He would attack Opera as soon he see him because HE sees him as a threat, even if not for the students. He would attack even Sullivan if he tried to get Iruma back.
Because this child get hurt so easely!! He MUST keep him SAFE.
Dadlego mode "over 9000"
In the fic, he even kidnapp Buer, catching him by a window when he sees him passing by, because one of the students is hurt (so need a healer). and he let not him go away neither. And i think that this idea is hilarous.
Now it's my headcanon! WP!Kalego is VERY protective, so much that he's a threat of everyone except his students XD
So now imagine WP!Dantalion and WP!Kalego happening in the same time.
FUCK no one will be able to leave the school. That's it, this is their lives now. They need to adapt to living in the school until both of the teachers are out of their wicked phases XD
But can you imagine how confused and scared the misfits were the first time kalego locked them in the royal class?
Cause i imagine it like kalego locks them up and then stares at them to be able to respond the second someone needs help
But all the kids see is there stern teacher acting weird, locking them up for some reason, and then proceeds to glare at them in silence (cause he's alert in case someone tries breaking in, but the kiddos dont know)
And i guarantee you every one of them will remember every mistake they ever made, unsure which one made their teacher act like this and fear for their lives.
And to make matters worse and scarier to the kids, they keep seeing teachers trying and failing to get into royal one and the kids just don't understand what's going on???
But the big question is, will the two demons in their wicked phase fight, or will they join forces to keep their students safe
You see, on one hand demons are territorial, and each teacher will see the other as encroaching on their territory. Kalego is refusing to let dali see his treasure. Dantalion, a demon in his wicked phase, is a threat to kalego's students. A fight will surely ensue
And the fact that kalego is standing up to Dantalion, his senior, must annoy dali quite a bit.
But they could see it another way. Maybe Dantalion will let kalego, a part of his treasure, do what he wants. If he fought him, kalego might get hurt. And it seems like it's healthy to let demons in the wicked phase act on their desires, so dali will just let him feel safe with the students, and it's not like dali can't go in there if he wants.
Or maybe they find common ground to stand on. Kalego allows dali to see the students as long as dali doesn't get too close, and dali stops anyone from trying to stop kalego or take the stupid home. After all, they're way safer in the school, so what's wrong with having them in the school for a few days?

Today in crack theories/reading too much into stuff: Iruma+birds= feels like something important I don’t know what
The big hint - he turned Kalego into a bird familiar, and they make a point of saying the familiar’s form reflects the master -
Tumblr media
But also the WHOLE flying race ark. From being rescued/fought over by birds when Kalego knocks him off the cliff, to his interactions with the guardian of cutthroat valley + kid -
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then the fact his bow is made from the guardian’s feathers
Tumblr media
Plus the fact that his ring was given to him by the rank owl
Tumblr media
And then there’s evil!iruma + black feathers
Tumblr media
Anyway yes this probably all means nothing, but I was rewatching the first season and I felt like they stressed the part about Sullivan giving him the hellraiser clock and then all of a sudden I starting noticing All The Birds

Kalego Angst With a Hint Of Fluff ( Gender Neutral)
Fandom: Welcome To Demon School Iruma-Kun!
tw! - insults, swear words, self-degrading, mentions of blood, injuries
includes: a 'fight', blaming, guilt, anger, rage, Kalego actually caring for you #WOAH😱😱/hj, friendly banter, jokingly fighting in the end (verbally), Kalego being obliviously smitten, fluff
-----------------------------------------
"Fucking hell. You're so fucking stupid. What the hell is wrong with you?" Kalego grumbled as he pinched the space between his eyebrows.
He's visibly frustrated. No, frustrated is an understatement. He's absolutely enraged. So enraged to the point where you wouldn't be surprised if he killed you right here, right now.
But what exactly brought upon this? What exactly caused Kalego to be in such a furious state...?
You.
You did.
You're the cause of this.
And..
"It's all your fucking fault." He glares at you, with anger so strong that you flinch and look away, too scared to meet his gaze as it might be the end of you.
As he silently ponders for a few seconds about what to do next, thousands of thoughts start running through your head...
'He hates me now.... I fucked up... I shouldn't have messed around with his spell books.. if I didn't, the beast wouldn't have been released... Everything would've been fine...'
Indeed. Kalego isn't frustrated over something small and petty like a spilled coffee,
or you accidentally killing or dislocating his beloved cacti.
....Okay, maybe that isn't small or petty.
He's frustrated over the fact that you've just released a beast even Sullivan would have a hard time defeating.
Worst part about this is that, Sullivan is currently attending to foreign matters in a foreign realm along with all the great superiors of the Netherworld. Thus, it's up to the teachers of the school to take down this beast.
With absolutely no time to waste, Kalego glared at you one last time before storming out of the room, rushing towards where the beast was.
You were frozen on the floor, not knowing what to do. You felt helpless. This is all your fault, yet you can't do anything to help... Can you do anything to help?
No, you can't. You'd just get in Kalego's way.
'I really am nothing but a nuisance..'
You thought to yourself.
Despite your shock, you somehow picked yourself up and got on your feet. With trembling knees, you stumbled towards the window and gasped when you saw that the beast had already defeated 3 teachers and they were all laying on the battlefield, covered in blood.
You felt sick to your stomach, unsure if it was from the gorey sight or the sense of guilt taking over you.
You watched as Kalego arrived at the scene. He looked as stern as always, always standing his ground. But even from here, you could see that he had a hint of fear in his eyes. Well, he was in the presence of a beast who could probably wipe him and the whole school out within 20 minutes after all.
You stare anxiously as he exchanged blows with the beast, casting as many spells as he could with all his might. His comrades fought by his side, but they were all slowly knocked down, one by one. In the end, Kalego was the last man standing.
He took a deep breath.
Inhale.
Exhale.
He closed his eyes for a little while, as if he's praying or recalling a memory...
When he opened his eyes again, he turned towards your direction and looked right at you. He nodded at you slightly with a bittersweet smile.
His eyes were full of will and determination, but also sorrow.
Huh?
You felt your stomach swirl from fear.
Oh no.
Please. Please don't tell me he's planning to-
Before you could collect your thoughts, Kalego charged up a chant and started attacking the beast with all his might. He casted all sorts of spell, even attacked it physically a few times. They exchanged blows, each blow got increasingly brutal and painful.
You couldn't stand watching the fight helplessly through a glass window when Kalego was risking his life for the school, so you dashed out of the room into the hallways.
I have to get there. I have to do something. I have to be at least a little useful. Fuck. Kalego, please. Hold on a little longer.
----------------------------------
When you reached the battlefield, you scouted your surroundings.
Teachers covered in blood were littered on the floor, injured students were scattered by the grass.
The beast was still standing.
Kalego was not.
You stared at Kalego's trembling body in horror. You hurriedly ran towards him and cradled him in your arms.
"KALEGO!!" You screamed in terror as he slightly raised his excruciatingly heavy eyelids and coughed out some blood.
"*cough cough*" His eyes winced in pain as he felt his body ache all over.
"You... You need to get out of here..." He mutters.
He slowly raised his trembling hand and cupped one side of your face.
"Get somewhere safe. Before it's too late.. *cough cough*"
Your eyes water as you gently placed your hand over his that is cupping your face.
"Kalego..." You murmur in a soft, broken voice. You're not hurt, but seeing him like this has wounded you more than any wound ever did.
"Go. Now. Please. While you still can... Save yourself.." He softly says, looking at you with fear and concern.
...Why?
Why does he care for my safety?
Why does he care about me when I was the cause of this whole massacre in the first place?
Why?
Tears ran down your face as you quickly used a floatation spell on Kalego to set him aside to a safe place. You proceeded to cast a healing spell on him - your bloodline ability - and gently kissed his forehead, praying for the best.
-------------------------------
You stepped back onto the battlefield, heart filled with rage and anger.
You meet head to head with the beast, but you're not intimidated by it, no. In fact, it's the opposite.
"Im the one who released you, and I will be the one to put an end to you." You narrow your eyes threateningly.
And the fight begins.
------------------------------
....Anddd the fight is over.
You've finally discarded the beast, but you're basically half-dead.
You have bruises and scratches all over your body, you have a fatal wound around your abdomen and you're losing a lot of blood. You start to slowly lose consciousness as you take small steps towards the area where you've set Kalego down at.
You kneel down next to him and examine his body.
Thank goodness, he's alright.
You breathe a sigh of relief, and gently run a hand over his cheek, causing him to gain consciousness.
But before you could greet him or say anything,
You collapsed.
-------------------------------
"Ugh..."
You flinched in your sleep as you felt a slight pain in your lower abdomen.
The pain got more intense by the second, and suddenly it felt like an electric shock, stinging you from within.
"ACK!" You screamed loudly as you shot up from your sleeping position.
Huh?
You were... In a hospital room. You were on a hospital bed...
You were basically mummified in bandages...
You took in your surroundings as you tried to recall all the events that happened, but that train of thought was broken off by the familiar sting of pain.
"OUCH!! WHAT THE FUCK?!" You snap your head to the side only to see a familiar face holding a cotton swab.
A face that is ever so familiar.
A face that pisses you off ,
but also a face you're so relieved to see.
Kalego...
"Pfft... Someone who took on a whole deadly beast is scared of a little hydrogen peroxide?" He raised an eyebrow and laughed mockingly.
You glare at him, clearly not having enough energy to deal with his shitty attitude. Especially not when you just woke up. Especially not when he's stabbing you with that hell of a cotton swab.
"Is this really how you treat someone who saved your sorry ass? Torment them with a stinging, torture device?"
"Well it's either you deal with this so-called 'stinging torture device' and stop whining.. or you can get an infection. Pick your poison, your highness."
You glared at him, only to get a cocky grin in return.
"Sigh... I don't have the energy to put up with your shit right now. Are you done? I want to get back to sleep." You say, laying back down and pulling up your blanket.
"Yeah, I'm done. If I continue treating you with the oh-so-deadly 'stinging torture device' you'd continue to whine and cry anyways. And as much as I'd enjoy that, other patients probably wouldn't."
You rolled your eyes, smiling.
"Wow, okay, Mr. Sadist...." you mocked.
"Anyways, since you're done, I'll get some rest." You dragged your blanket closer and motioned for him to get out.
You expected some sort of remark from him, but he just complied with your request and smiled slightly before walking out the door.
Weird, that's not quite like Kalego.
Maybe he hit his head a little too hard...
You chuckled to yourself before you drifted off to sleep.
---------------------------
A few hours had passed,
Kalego came into your hospital room once again and sat on the seat beside your bed. You were still sound asleep, exhausted from the fight.
Kalego silently admired how peaceful you looked while you were asleep and ran his fingers over your cheek gently.
He recalled everything you've done on the battlefield, and how concerned you were about his well-being.
The thought made his gaze soften slightly.
"You really are something..." He sighs quietly.
He continues admiring you, resting his head by your bedside.
Then, he hesitantly gets closer to you.
So close you could probably feel his warm breath on you...
He gently whispered into your ears...
"...Thank you."
Right after saying those words, his ears had a soft tint of pink.
He's probably embarrassed. Or maybe it's pink for a different reason...
I guess we'll never know...
------------------------------
Kalego knows that you were the cause of this whole mess in the first place, but he somehow couldn't bring himself to hate you. You are constantly on his mind. Everytime he says something mean to you, he would be up at night wondering if he had gone too far or crossed any of your boundaries... He knows that despite the fact that you're an idiot to him, you're also special to him in some way.
He knows.
But what he DOESN'T know is that you were awake the whole time he said all that and did all those sweet gestures, also when he was mindlessly staring at you...
and you will never let him live it down.
----------------------------------
The end 🥂

For the Sake of a Smile (V.2) Chapter Thirteen
Title: For the Sake of a Smile (Revised)
Overall Rating: Mature (18+)
Chapter Rating: M for Mature. We've begun the 18+ content
Trigger warnings: Nothing beyond the child abuse hinted in the series, though we do explore the consequences a bit more.
Additional TW for depression/anxiety etc in this chapter. NO mentions of self-harm or suicide.
Main Pairing: Balam Shichiro/Reader
Summary: Hell on earth was your motto for your job. Granted, you were pretty sure earth really was hell, considering the shit you had seen in your life. And the fact your coworker was a child.
A child named Suzuki Iruma, in fact. A kid who’s life was decidedly worse than yours, but yet he smiled despite everything. It wasn’t long after meeting him that you decided you’d do a lot for his smile. Including summoning a literal demon and signing your soul away.
But as it turns out, hell (The Netherworld, actually) was a lot better than living on earth. Demons were more humane than a lot of humans you knew.
And Iruma’s smile wasn’t the only one that would change your life.

"...But if you feel you're worthless… then maybe you are."
Even though you had said the words yourself, hearing her repeat them so casually was like a slap in the face.
And also the last straw.
It was like something snapped inside, and you lost control. With a scream you lunged towards her, jumping over the desk separating you and tackling Raim.
There was a satisfied look in her eye shortly before you slammed into her, but it was soon gone as you used tooth and nail against her. There was no method to your attack, you just wanted her to hurt. To feel pain as you did. Regret like you did. Realize she wasn't as powerful and mighty like she thought.
The fact that she barely fought back was something you completely missed. She struggled enough to keep you struggling, clawing at her face and hair, an elbow to the gut, or stomping on her high-heeled feet with your own more-practical footwear. But there was an almost playful quality to it, to the light in her eyes.
Until a voice boomed across the library; multiple arms grasping your limbs and pulling you off.
No. Not limbs. Vines, you realized as you looked around wildly, still feeling rather feral until you met glimmering black eyes.
Ah.
Fuck.
"Haven't had a scuffle like that in quite a while," Raim said as she stood up, dusting off her barely-blemished skin. "I forgot how kinky that could be."
Oh. You were going to kill her and that damned glittering smile in her eyes. You struggled against the vines restraining you, your primal mind figuring you had gone this far, you might as well finish the job.
Raim didn't seem the least bit affected as she turned towards Balam, her hand grazing his arm purposefully. "I'll go ask Furcus or her Battler if they'd mind the Library while our dear Librarian is recovering. Make sure to take good care of her, okay?"
Balam acted as if he hadn't heard Raim at all, or even if she even existed. His gaze bore into you, filled with its own rage and frustration.
Maybe it was his displeasure, or the way you swore you could feel his mana engulfing the Library like an oppressive blanket, trying to smother any kind of dissonance. Or maybe Raim finally leaving was allowing you to finally think clearly.
Either way, you knew you were in trouble. Far, far worse trouble than you had been in.
Balam picked you out from the vines like an errant pet, holding you tightly to his chest in a princess carry before striding out of the Library, all without saying a single word. His silence was uncomfortable, and you could virtually feel the anger and disappointment radiating from him.
Even after reaching the prep room and ensuring it was empty - closing the door behind him and locking it - he stayed silent. He just held you tighter, and you could feel him taking deep calming breaths, his eyes closed as he focused.
"Balam?" You hesitantly questioned, causing his eyes to snap open and focus down on you; dark obsidian that seemed so cold compared to usual. His fingers dug into you almost painfully before he controlled himself.
He didn't utter a word, but you could see his jaw move behind his mask as if was opening and closing his mouth, at a loss for words. All the while his gaze continued to bore into you, as if trying to figure something out.
"I-I'm sorry," You stuttered, the silence becoming too much for you to bear. "I just… I snapped and lost control."
Devi, he had to be fuming to remain so quiet. You don't think you had ever known him to be this quiet. "Please, say something. Anything."
He didn't say anything, but shifted his grip so he was no longer holding you in a princess-carry, but hugging you tightly; your chest pressed against his, one arm bracing you back with his fingers buried in your hair while the other supported your backside, as you more or less straddled his waist with your legs. His metal mask felt like ice against your skin as he pressed his face to your neck, releasing a shuddering breath when you wrapped your arms around his shoulders.
"Why?" He rasped after a second, his voice hoarse as he whispered your name in such a way it felt like a knife to your chest. "Do you realize how stupid -- how dangerous-- that was? No Runes. Nothing to protect you…"
That bitter feeling rose in your throat as that dark voice whispered in the back of your mind. He was right, you had been a massive idiot for starting a fight with Raim - no matter how much she had been trying to tempt you into one.
It also reminded you that Balam was upset mainly because your foolish actions had nearly cost him his 'precious' human. Not in the romantic sense, but in the sense you were his favorite specimen, for lack of a better word.
"What is wrong with you?" He swore after a moment. "Ever since the Harvest festival, you've been acting strange, and its just been getting worse. I thought you were wiser than this?"
"It was a mistake." You answered back flatly, your inner self growing cold to protect you from the overflow of pain his words caused. You pulled away, and by some miracle he allowed you. He even set you on the ground, but you could feel his expectant gaze on you. "I--"
You should just quit, the dark little voice reasoned. Or one of these days, someone is going to find out. You're going to inevitably fuck something up and doom yourself and Iruma. Just go to Sullivan, hand in your resignation, and become a hermit.
Or ask Sullivan to null your contract and send you back to Earth. Iruma would probably be safer without you to expose his origin.
Some mother you were. He'd be better off without you at this point.
Tears stung your eyes as you succumbed to the darkness. You pulled at your hair as you slowly fell to your knees, gritting your teeth to stop the sob swelling in your throat.
I really am worthless. Everyone would be better off without me. I'm so dumb, emotional, powerless... Why did I ever think I deserved to be happy? Even here - I don't deserve their love or compassion. Hell itself is too good for me.
You felt Balam try to gently pry your hands from your scalp, and batted him away as you stepped away. "Don't." You choked out. "I don't-- I don't deserve it."
"Don't deserve what?" He asked, curiosity evident in his voice.
"Your kindness! Your pity! I'm the dumbass that keeps fucking up!" You snarled angrily; mostly directed at yourself, but some reserved him. Didn't he get it? "I don't belong here! I know I'm your 'precious' human to study, but you have Iruma, and he's so much better than me. He's adapting, unlike my worthless ass and--"
You were silenced as he pulled you close. "Don't. Don't even think such things, darling. You are so important to me, to all of us."
You struggled to shake your head from how tightly he was holding you. "I'm not… I'm not."
Balam shifted to pull away just enough to cup your face. His eyes were warm again, hurt and confusion evident, along with something else you refused to acknowledge, because it was impossible. "You are. You are the most precious thing to me, and it isn't because you're human."
Your heart thumped in your chest, a small crack appearing in your dark thoughts, a small sliver of hope. "Don't… Don't tease me," You pleaded softly. "Don't say such things, Balam."
His thumb caressed your cheek softly. "I'm not teasing. You may not want my affection, but you have it regardless. And I know that so many others care for you as well."
Just as fast as the smidgen of hope appeared, it disappeared. You sighed as you tried to refrain from reacting.
He cares for you, that should be enough. Your inner voice scolded. Be thankful, not saddened.
But how could you not? Especially as he touched you so tenderly, his eyes soft and kind.
Balam seemed to be able to sense the shift in your mood, or maybe you weren't able to hide your true feelings from your expression as you thought. His eyebrows knitted together in concern as he spoke your name. "Are these emotions from a human evil cycle, or something akin to it? What can I do for you? Please, tell me."
You shook your head slightly. "Nothing. This… this is just me trying to…come to term with things."
"With what?" He probed, apparently not going to allow the issue to slide. You went to turn away, but he held you firm. "You were physically fighting another teacher. If she had accidently scratched you and caused you to bleed, there's no telling what could have happened. Please, tell me what is bothering you so much."
Internally, you began to panic. You knew, knew he wasn't going to let you slide by with a half-excuse this time
Yet, you couldn't help but try. "It's stupid, Balam. I promise, I'll do better. I'll get this under control and…"
He ended your line of excuses by simply saying your name, making you freeze. His dark eyes pinned you, and you could see how others might be intimidated by him.
"I love you," You blurted out, tired and frustrated and honestly not knowing what else to say. "That's my problem, okay? I love you and I know you'll never feel the same for me."
His eyes blinked rapidly, confusion evident on his face. "W-what?"
It was like a dam in your chest had erupted, allowing all the emotions you had been trying to bottle up escape. "I love you! I want to be able to touch you! To kiss you! To do some frankly obscene things that I can't stop thinking about! And it's driving me crazy to know that you will never see me in such a way." You took a breath, trying to calm yourself. On one hand, it felt like a relief to finally have admitted it out loud, yet on the other you felt extremely embarrassed to have essentially just shouted it in his face.
"You… you wanted to know," You finished weakly with a half shrug. "So there you are. Now you know."
Silence hung heavily for a long moment as he stared at you, causing you to only feel more embarrassed. Now you really screwed things up. Now he wasn't going to even treat you as a friend, or maybe a friend to keep at arms distance and why--
"You're not lying," He spoke finally, ending your mental tirade. He continued to seem astonished, shocked as he muttered to himself. "You're…telling the truth."
You swallowed thickly and nodded. "Unfortunately, yes. I am."
That seemed to help him return back to his senses, his brows furrowing once more. "Unfortunately?"
You were about to go on a ramble, allowing all your fears to pour from your mouth, when he moved to undo the latches of his mask. Your words caught in your throat as you were given the rare treat of seeing his full face. The curve of his cheek, his strong jawline. One fang barely peeked out from behind his lips, and on the other side you could see so many of the thick sharp fangs thanks to his injury.
Without thinking, you reached up to touch his face. Your fingers caressing the soft skin that was usually hidden by his mask period, feeling the change to the rougher scar issue.
"You're not disgusted?" He asked quietly, careful not to accidentally bite your fingers that were so close to the bared teeth.
You jerked slightly, realizing what you had done. But when you went to pull away, he pressed your hand to his cheek, keeping it in place. "Not at all," You said softly, meeting his gaze. Surely this wasn't real. This had to be a dream or something. "I-I've always found you handsome."
You could watch as the pink color spread across his cheeks, inching its way to the tip of his ears as well as down his neck, which did not help your fascination any. You wondered how far his blush traveled past the feathered neck of his shirt. Did it bloom across his chest? Darkened the more you teased?
"And I've always been stunned by your beauty," He admitted quietly, pulling your mind from the gutter. "That first time seeing you in the Library, and every time since. I swear you've only grown more beautiful."
It was your turn to blush, and even chuckle self consciously. But any self deprecating quip that was on your tongue vanished as he leaned forward and pressed his ruined lips against yours.
The kiss was soft, tentative as he slowly tested your boundaries. As if each small movement was a question assuring he hadn't overstepped. Which was laughable in retrospect as you eagerly returned his kiss, wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him closer.
You swore you could feel him smile against you as he pulled you up onto his lap, arms wrapped around your waist as he matched your passion. Careful of his teeth, yet there was no denying the hunger that lurked beneath. Gently, his tongue brushed against your lips, which you accepted just as happily, pressing your tongue against his in an instinctive dance.
There was a hint of sweetness to him, which surprised you none. Not when you knew of his fondness for desserts as well as the fact of how gentle and sweet his personality was. It was as addictive as everything about him, distracting you to the point you barely noticed when he laid you down on the floor, your body instinctively allowing his waist to part your legs as you ran your fingers through his hair.
And devi, the noises he made; soft but deep groans that echoed from his chest as his mouth moved from yours to your cheek, and then your neck. As if you were the most delectable thing he had ever tasted - ever touched. The sounds went straight to the fire building in your lower stomach, making you want him even more.
"My human. My beautiful, precious human," He purred against you, the hand not supporting his weight  pressing against your side before roaming upwards, pushing aside your standard faculty uniform to cup your breast hidden beneath your shirt. "I've wanted this, wanted you, for so long…"
You whimpered as he massaged your breast and he lavished your neck in kisses. This was so much better than your dreams and fantasies. The warmth pooling in your loins, the way his large body pressed down against you, heavy but not overly so. And the words he praised you with were quickly driving you crazy.
No one had made you feel this way in the past. Wanted in every sense of the word. Beautiful. Appreciated.
You wanted to turn the tables on him, repeat every single sentiment with equal emotion. To make him feel this same pleasure and warmth.
Yet before you could hazily try and figure out how to do that, a shrill ring on your phone cut through the otherwise silent room, making you both freeze at the cheery tune.
Devi. No. You wanted screamed in frustration as Balam pulled away, looking rather awkward as he helped you sit up. All the while the phone continued to ring incessantly.
You pulled the offending item from your pocket and glared at it. How you wanted to silence it. To hit the ignore button, but it was too late. The mood was ruined.
--+--
"Yes?" Balam heard you answer whomever was calling you as he had climbed to his feet and was trying to find a way to calm his body. Sullivan's voice was unmistakable as he apparently shouted over the phone; tone full of worry, though Balam couldn't understand his words as he wandered towards his bookcases.
This was not at all how he expected events to go when he had decided to confront you over the lunch period. Actually, all expectations went out the window when he entered the Library and saw you launch yourself at Raim, looking more like a demon then ever.
He was both frozen with fear and awe at the scene. Fear because what the devi had you been thinking?! And awe from his baser instincts seeing the female he adored show her power and viciousness. You would be such a good mate…
Fear, worry, and a smidge of anger suddenly overtook everything. He had been barely able to hold back from joining the fight on your side, and had Raim not been treating you as delicately as she had been, obviously doing her best not to hurt you, he may have.
Yet even with you in his arms, he had been so scared, unable to control the urge to carry you away to the safest place he could think of. A place of privacy where he was sure he would be able to protect you. If someone realized the truth, or even that you were powerless, it could spell disaster. He had known something had been bothering you, and didn't want to pry.
But if it risked your safety, he had felt like he had no other choice.
And Devi and Deities both, your answer was not at all what he was suspecting. He was both elated, and also confused. Why would you feel as if it was a terrible thing? What had he done to make you believe he wouldn't reciprocate your feelings?
"I love you." Your words rang in his head, along with the fact that his bloodline ability had not. Not even the faintest buzz of a half-lie when you called him handsome.
Balam was sure - especially from the way you had been returning every kiss with desperation and making those soft pleased noises - that he would have ended up taking you right then and there if your phone hadn't rang.
He listened to you argue with Sullivan, insisting you were unharmed and okay while your face continued to be deeply flushed.
He couldn't ruin his chances. He wanted you; not just in a deep primal way, but as his mate. To be by your side for the rest of his life.
Balam had refused to even hope for such a chance in his younger years - sure no one would ever choose him between his disfigurement and odd traits - but now there was more than just ephemeral hope, it was a very real possibility. And with you.
He couldn't recall all the intricate details of courting, having given up on such ideas while attending Babyls as a student. But he did remember one thing.
An Offering. A token of his affection and a symbol of his intention.
"I am so sorry," You apologized after ending the call with your adoptive father and turning your attention back to him. Your face was still pink with a hint of guilt in your eyes.
He couldn't resist reaching out to cup your face, caressing your cheek with his thumb. "You have nothing to apologize for."
You scoffed dryly, but leaned into his touch. "Launching myself at Raim? Dad was freaking out because he heard through the grapevine that you carried me away because I was 'heavily injured' or something. Students and their dramatics, I swear."
He frowned slightly, "...okay, you may have a point there. Though you're hardly to blame for the latter."
Your cheeks darkened a little more as you looked away. "Well, he did… interrupt."
Devi, you were so cute. He had never seen you look so shy, yet not pulling away from him. For which Balam was thankful, he missed being able to be so close. To enjoy how supple your skin was beneath his gloves, or that enticing scent of yours underneath the cologne.
"Speaking of which," He started, drawing himself out of his admiration. He removed his hand from your cheek, only to take your small hands in his. He was sure there was a dusting of pink to his own face, plain to see since his mask continued to lay forgotten on the floor. "I-I'm sure you already know, considering my… earlier behavior. But, I-I adore you. I adore so many things about you, and I…"
You tilted your head faintly, confusion apparent in your eyes as he trailed off, unable to complete his sentence. "Balam, what are you trying to say?"
His dark eyes met yours as he squeezed your hands softly. "...would you please call me Shichiro?" He said instead of what he really wanted to ask.
Still, you smiled up at him, happiness apparent in your eyes. "Y-yes! I would love to."
He held onto your hand as you gently tried to pull away, causing that smile to fade. "I would also like to know…if you would allow me the honor of courting you?"
Shock crossed your face at his words, which only spurred him to ramble nervously. "I know you're not overly familiar with the customs, but I would happily explain them to you. And maybe you could explain your own customs regarding romance, and I'd do my best to observe them if that would make you happy. And--"
"Yes," You answered suddenly, interrupting him. "I mean, well, yes! I would--I would really love all of that."
"You would? Really?" He couldn't help but ask, the anxiety easing as you laughed, unable to contain your happiness. Your face was lit up with a bright smile, virtually beaming with happiness. So vastly different than just a few moments before.
"Yes! I really would, Shichiro."
Hearing you say his name so fondly was too much. He quickly picked you up, grinning as you let out a surprised yelp before laughing again, wrapping your arms around him. He buried his face against the crook of your neck, breathing in deep.
Yes. You said yes.
He held you tight, hardly believing reality. Especially as he felt you comb your fingers through his hair, feeling your smile pressed against his cheek and ear as you peppered him with soft kisses.
"Oh! Wait! An offering!" He exclaimed, setting you down. "This isn't very traditional, but I didn't have time to prepare. I really hope it's okay…"
"Shichiro…" You started to protest as he took your hand in his, yet looked upwards to where Nigyul was sitting amongst the vines, his yellow eyes almost glowing in the deep shadows.
The wooden dragon jumped from his perch onto your shoulder, surprising you. But your smile returned as he rubbed his snout against your cheek, an odd sort of purring rattle echoing from his chest.
Shichiro smiled, happy to see him so accepting of you. It made him more sure about his plan as he plucked a lock of vines from Nigyul's mane.
The plant still reacted to his mana as he laid it across your wrist, feeding it enough of his power that it grew and twisted into a bracelet of light green vines.
It wasn't the height of fashion, but he hoped it was acceptable anyways. At least, for now. "I'll get you something more significant or prettier later…"
"I love it," You interrupted as you pulled your hand away from his to look at it closely. How the vines intertwined in a chaotic-looking braid, with no way to tell where it began or ended. It wasn't too bulky or dainty, but just right as it hugged your wrist.
"Being made of the vines of a Nigyupnil, it can withstand nearly anything. I'm not sure how it will react to human mana, but it should survive as long as I feed it my own at least once a week."
You marveled at the bracelet, smiling slightly as you allowed the dragon on your shoulder to inspect it before you turned to him, your smile shifting to a frown. "This… isn't just a dream, is it?" You asked, a hint of fear and trepidation in your voice. "I-I'm not going to wake up in my bed with all of this just a fantasy in my head, right?"
Shichiro felt his heart squeeze, and caressed your face softly. He could understand your worry, because he could admit he was concerned about the same thing. This felt way too good to be true, to be real.
Yet at the same time, he knew it was no dream, no night time fantasy borne of his inner most desires. "I promise, darling, its not."
--+-- Su-Ki-Ma--+--
Raim had a wicked smile on her face as she barged into Furcus' office.
"I presume you have a good reason for being here," Furcus asked, looking up from the homework she had been grading.
"Oh yes," Raim purred as she sat down. "You know how our little Librarian has been edging an evil cycle for the past week or so?"
"Mmm, I think everyone is aware. I was going to bring it up to Dali that she should be allowed a few extra days off before she snaps."
"Well, I may have decided to forgo Dali… or even the chairdemon," Raim admitted with a hint of guilt. "But, in my defense, the sexual tension between her and Balam has been driving me crazy. Teenagers are one thing, but those two…" She fanned herself dramatically. "Well, it gets my own instincts worked up, you know?
The older female groaned and rubbed her face. "Devi, what did you do?"
Raim bit back a smile. "You know how with little ones you have to push them a bit for their first few evil cycles? Encourage them to let go so they don't get too wild and wicked?"
Furcus' dark eyes narrowed. "Are you saying you did that. With Lord Sullivan's own daughter? In the middle of school hours."
"She's rankless, so I figured it's not like she could harm anyone." Raim's smile faded slightly. "How a demon like Lord Sullivan could sire someone as weak as her, I can't understand. But her son seems to take after his grandfather…"
"It is a bit of a mystery," Furcus agreed. "Actually, the whole thing seems suspicious, to be honest, but it's not our place to question. Lord Sullivan claims them as kin, and they're marked with his power. As long as they do not place the school in danger, we shall abide."
Raim nodded, serious for a moment before grinning and leaning in close. "But that isn't all that happened. So, Balam appeared during our little tussle, and you should have seen him. You would have thought he had already claimed her as a mate and I was trying to seduce her away from him! Granted, she did look awfully tempting bound by his vines. I can't believe I never gave thought about our gargoyle and his abilities in the bedroom before…."

Missing
Sullivan
Have you seen me? The poster asked, and above it was a picture of a single individual smiling at the camera. Sullivan never thought he'd have to make a poster like this.
Tears of frustration escaped his eyes as he clenched the poster in his hands. 48hrs. His child had been missing for 48 hours, and their was no sign of them anywhere.
He and Opera had practically ripped the house apart, searching for them, and Shichirou and Robin had done the same for babyls. His baby was nowhere to be found. They weren't answering their phone either.
Even Kalego had joined the search because the children had become restless. Yet nothing was popping up, not a single lead. What if they never found you?
The thought struck fear into the older demons heart. Would it be like losing Derkila all over again. He didn't think he could handle that. And what about iruma? The poor child would be devastated by your loss.
Iruma
You weren't here. You weren't anywhere. You wouldn't have left without telling anyone, and you were very good at keeping track of time. You didn't just come and go whenever you please like his parents had.
So where were you? And why hadn't you come home yet? Did something eat you? Were you taken? Thoughts raced in his head, filled with panic and uncertainty. He wished you were here right now, just safe and at home.
He just needed you to come home soon. So that everything would be okay again. You made everything better. But what was he to do if you were missing? How could he handle the stress of being the only human in hell?
This was all terrifying. Overwhelming, in fact. He insisted on staying by the door till you came home, and neither Sullivan nor Opera fought him on this matter. They even stayed next to him the entire time. Just waiting.
Opera
Their job was to surve Sullivan to the best of their abilities. That included protecting you and young master iruma now. But now you were missing. How useless they felt for not even realizing that you were gone.
One day, you were there groggily making your way downstairs for breakfast the next you weren't. No more sounds of your rushed steps when you made a breakthrough or the quiet tiptoes when you wanted a snack. Opera could only stare at your empty seat in silent rage.
Where were you? There wasn't a trace you had even left the house. Your shoes and keys are in the exact same spot you always left them. Nothing in your notes showed any signs of wanting to leave. There was nothing indicating that anyone had snuck it to steal you either.
So, how exactly had you vanished? They were ashamed to call themselves a part of Lord Sullivan's security detail. Opera tried to recall anything that might be a clue as to why you were missing. But had nothing.
Not realizing they were polishing the glasses so hard, one of them cracked under their grip. Oh, this was your favorite set... you would be so upset when you came home. Opera's ears drooped at the thought. If you came home.
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ Well, let in never be said that you wouldn't fight tooth and nail for your family. You eyed the pile of unconscious demons before you. It had taken much longer than you had thought.
When they had somehow summoned you to their little hide away, you had been cross. You hadn't even put on your shoes or brushed your hair yet. You had a toothbrush in your mouth still.
No respect! Absolutely no respect for self hygiene. It took you almost three days to teach them all a proper lesson about summoning anyone. You huffed and grabbed one of their phones and started dialing.
"Speak quickly. I don't have time to play games!" Irritated as usual, but there was also a mix of desperation in that tone. "Hi, doggy," you said casually.
"WHERE ARE YOU??!??!?!" His voice blaring through the speakers and you blinked started for a second. "I'm not really sure, I was hoping you could track me through this number." You scratched the back of your head before pulling your head back in disgust.
Sticky, blood and sweat mixing together and making tangled knots in your hair. You would need a shower when you got home. "I'm on my way over now, don't you dare move!" Kalego-Sans voice drawing your attention back into place.
"Oh, you might want to bring the authorities while you're at it." Quickly doing a head count to make sure all of your kidnappers were still in place. "YOU WERE KIDNAPPED!!!!" Another scream.
"You say it like I asked to be taken from home while still in my pajamas. This isn't my fault doggy." You stomped your foot against the ground in irritation, knowing it was childish to argue.
"With you and your sons track record, I'd say otherwise." He muttered. "Will you please just get the authorities to come pick this garbage up so I can go home and cuddle with my family!" You snapped.
You were tired, sweaty, and definitely throwing away these pajamas as soon as you stepped through the door. You were most certainly cuddle deprived as well, but you tried not to think about that part. You just wanted to go home.
It turns out you were maybe three hours away from whatever location Kalego-San had been searching for you in, but thankfully, he found you and had the demon patrol trailing right behind him. They found you sitting lazily on top of your pole of would-be thugs on the phone.
"Yes, yes, he just got here. I have to turn this phone in for evidence, so I have to hang up. I will borrow his phone and call you back as soon as I finish giving a statement. Yes, I love you too. I'll be home before you know it. Yes, of course. I don't mind at all. You three set everything up, and I'll be home as soon as possible."
You hung up and tossed the phone to Henri. "I'd like to get back to my family as quickly as possible. I'll make my statement now." Of course, that took another hour of questioning, but the demon was being as thorough as possible as quickly as he could. Once that was completed, kalego lifted you up and flew you back home.
"Why did you call me?" He asked mid flight when you finally got off the phone with your family again. You blinked. "Why not you?" You asked back.
"You weren't going to coddle me or get over emotional. You came and got me while making sure my kidnappers were also properly arrested. What a good doggy! You listen well." You joked. He scowled. "I will drop you."
"You won't. You're afraid of what Opera will do if they know you did." You could feel him shudder. You yawned. "I can't wait to get home and shower..." You muttered sleepily. "I highly doubt you can stand, let alone shower by the time we get back." The demon scoffed fondly.
"Mean doggy, I take back all the nice things I said." The low chuckle being the last thing you heard as you drifted off. When kalego arrived, he quickly shoved you into the crying Sullivan's awaiting arms but was too slow to escape his crying students hugging and thanking him for bringing you back home.
You would owe him for this later. As he pryed, a crying Lied off his leg and tried to wrestle off the squeezing Goemon. He was not one for emotional displays of any kind. That was your department. Thank you very much.

Mairimashita! Iruma-Kun: The Wiggly-Woos!
Tumblr media
Weeeee! Thanks to everyone who voted in the poll! 'Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-Kun' has been my recent hyperfixation. XD And I'm just about to start watching season 3! I thought I'd extend this from the HCs I wrote a little while back, this being Asmodeus discovering his love for tiggles!
Summary: Asmodeus discovers his love of being tickled through his buddy, Iruma! With the help of Clara too~
Lee!Asmodeus, Ler!Iruma, Ler!Clara
Tw: None
---------------------☆ ☆------------------------
Finally! Friday had come, no school for the students of Babyls for two days. Time for some well needed relaxation. Asmodeus was well looking forward to his plans. He and Clara had been invited to a sleepover at Irumas house!
A whole day and night with Master Iruma?! What more could Asmodeus possibly ask for!? Although this wasn't their first sleepover, every sleepover was destined to be the best, because of Iruma!
The three sat together in Irumas' room as they waited to be called down for dinner, Opera was making them a feast for all the hard work they'd been putting into their classes and studying.
During their wait, the three were having a playful pillow fight on Irumas bed, all happily bonking and batting each other with their plump weapons.
"Iruma-kiiins! HIIIYAH!" Clara beamed as she tossed a pillow towards Iruma, who immediately was able to dodge it with ease, earning another huff from the green haired grem-girl.
"Aaah, no fair! Iruma-kins is cheating! Gah!"
"Cheating??" Asmodeus countered, hitting Clara over the head with his pillow. "How dare you accuse Master Iruma of such a deed! He would never do something so barbaric and sleazy!"
Iruma chuckled, petting Clara's hair. "Awww, I'm sorry, Clara. I can't help it. Next time, I won't dodge it, I promise!" The blue haired button smiled warmly as he sat with his arms open and his eyes shut, waiting for his sacrificial blow.
"W-What!? Master Iruma, you don't need to take a hit for her! Don't be so foolish, you'll perish for sure!" Over dramatic as ever, Asmodeus protested, trying to snatch the pillow from Clara as she took aim with a cheeky grin.
The pink haired fire wielder fought the pillow away from Clara, sighing with relief, having saved his master from what he saw as an assassination attempt.
"SUPRISE HUG ATTACK!"
"NO!" Asmodeus was too slow this time, Iruma was doomed for sure as Clara lunged at him, tackling him to the mattress with a flump as she hugged him warmly, kicking her feet in the air, proud of her victory.
"Hehe! I got you that time, Iruma-Kiiins!"
"Haha, you sure did." The victim chuckled before his eyes sparkled with an idea.
Asmodeus turned away in mock defeat, crushed by the fact he couldn't protect his master. "Oh Master Iruma... I have failed you!"
"KYAHAHA!" Clara's sudden, loud and bubbly laughter snapped Asmodeus from his pit of dispare. He turned to see Clara flailing and giggling in Irumas lap, her cheeks were a bright red glow and her tail was wagging furiously.
Oh no. Had Asmodeus missed a joke Iruma told? How awful!
"Uwah! Master! I apologise, tell me the joke! I must've missed it!" He asked, sitting on his knees facing the blue haired boy, who just blinked in return.
"Joke? I didn't say anything, Azz."
"Huh? But, Clara is in hysterics! You must have told one of your fantastic jokes!" He insisted eagerly, leaning forward, giving Iruma his biggest puppy dog eyes.
Iruma thought for a moment, looking down at Clara with a raised brow. She returned the confused expression with a hum.
Then it clicked in Irumas head. "You mean this?" He started poking Clara's sides again, making her squeal and wriggle like a little worm.
Asmodeus stared in shock. "Wh- How are you doing that, Master Iruma? You didn't even have to speak a word!" He was completely dumbfounded by what he was seeing.
Clara sat up with a grin. "Iruma is giving me the wiggly woos!" Wiggly-woos being Clara's family term for tickling.
"What is a wiggly-woo?? Clara you're talking nonsense again!" Asmodeus pouted, folding his arms, irritated that Clara was using her silly words again.
Iruma chuckled, softly tickling Clara's neck, making her shoulders bunch with a snort. "She means tickling, Azz. Haven't you seen it before?"
Tickling? This word was also foreign to Asmodeus. What could that mean? Forcing someone to laugh without telling a joke? What kind of strange behaviour could cause this?
"Uuuh... I'm afraid this isn't something I've come across before, master Iruma." His cheeks puffed in defeat, his pride damaged because he had been left out of the loop.
He looked up, feeling a soft hand resting upon his head. Iruma smiled at him kindly. "Not to worry, Azz! It's not a big deal."
Not a big deal!? But this was clearly something Iruma enjoyed. He was smiling so much when he was 'doing tickling' to Clara. His eyes flashed with determination.
"Master Iruma!" He cupped his friend's hands, looking deeply into his eyes as his own pink opals sparkled. "Show me!"
"Uh, show you?" Iruma was taken back by the sudden change in Asmodeus's demeanour.
"Yes! Please master Iruma, if you'd be so kind!" The demon quickly layed himself on the bed, sprawling out and prepping himself for whatever was going to happen. He needed to know! He needed to learn this from Iruma! For Iruma!
Iruma chuckled at the sight, flexing his fingers playfully. "I mean, if you're sure."
Asmodeus nodded quickly. "I'm certain! Master Iruma! Please, you must show me this tickling at once! I want to know how this spell works so that I may cast it upon you in any hours of darkness that may arise and-GYAHA!" A sudden jolt of electric tingles sent a spasm through Asmodeus body, causing him to immediately curl in on himself, covering his face with his arms in shock.
"Hah! W-What in hell was that?" He asked, his voice trembling slightly as he watched Iruma pull his hands away.
"That was a tickle." He smiled innocently, waiting for Asmodeus to calm himself before he continued. He didn't want to overwhelm him on his first tickle time.
"That was... A tickle?" Asmodeus was shook! He had never felt anything like that before. All Iruma had done was press on his ribs with his fingertips, and it had sent his body into an instant defensive overdrive!
Seeing how instantly reactive Asmodeus was, Iruma thought it best to leave him be for now. "Sorry, Azz. I won't do it again-"
"No!" Asmodeus quickly flattened himself out again. "I-I mean, uh, I can take it. I need to experience more. For um... Training!"
"Haha! If you say so. Here I come~" Iruma wriggled his fingers again, drawing closer to Asmodeus's tummy this time.
The pink haired demon felt his tummy doing cartwheels! His hands instinctively shooting up to try to bat Irumas' hands away as nervous, happy giggles started pouring from his mouth.
"Gehe! W-Wait! No, I'm okay, Iiiieeuah! Haha!" The sounds that were coming from him were less than flattering, but they were oh so cute!
"I haven't even touched you yet!" Iruma giggled with him as Clara watched eagerly, laughing at Asmodeus's strange sounds and expressions.
"Azz-Azz sounds like a little girl!"
"Y-Yohou would knowhow! Gyahaha!" Asmodeus brought his knees to his chest, his feet kicking as Iruma finally managed to dodge Asmodeus's defensive hands and get a good dig at his belly.
"KYAHAHAAAA!" His head flew backwards, pushing into the mattress as his back arched, his eyes squeezing tightly shut as a huge bright, fanged smile spread over his rosy cheeks.
"Oho my gahAHAHA! AHA!" He gasped for air, feeling Irumas tickling fingers shift across his body, finding his sides and starting to pinch and knead at the area.
"WAHAAA! I-IruMAHA!"
"That's my name~" Iruma chirped, happily watching his friend squirm and laugh freely. It wasn't unusual for Asmodeus to laugh around them, but to see him in utter hysterics like this was a real treat.
Asmodeus rolled to one side, half burying his face into the mattress as a hand managed to grab Irumas, only for the back of his ribs to be attacked with a set of digging knuckles instead, immediately making him roll back over.
"BYAHAHA! Ah! HAHAHA! I-IHIHIHEEEEE!"
"Haha, no escaping me, Azz~" Iruma teased playfully, starting to knead his thumbs into Asmodeus's lower ribs.
"AAAAH!"
Clara grinned, she wanted to play too!
"Hehe, time for the peets to get some wiggly-woos!" She chuckled, moving to sit by Asmodeus's feet. He was too distracted by this newfound sensation to realise what she was up to.
"Peets, peets, peets!" She sang, grabbing one of the flailing demons ankles, locking it securely under her arm.
"Huh? C-Clahahara! W-Whahahat are yoAHAHA! OHO DEVI-! HYAHAHA!" He practically screamed with laughter as he felt Clara's claws start to drag up and down his socked foot. His toes curled as he tried to tug his leg free.
"Wooow! Azz-Azz is devi-LOUD! Haha! Looks like his peets like the wiggly-woos the best!"
"You mean you think his feet are the most ticklish?" Iruma asked, just needing a brief translation.
"Yup! His little piggily-peets are very wiggly-woo positive!"
"Right!"
With one foot trapped and his upper half constantly being taken by suprise by Iruma switching tickling positions all the time, Asmodeus was getting the full work.
"Ahahahaaaa! HYAHAHAHA! Eeeheheheeee!" His laughter was loud, using his whole body to project his boyish guffaw. A few droplets of giggly tears pooled in his eyes.
Being such a powerful demon from birth, Asmodeus had never gotten into any tickle fights. He didn't even have any friends who would want to play like this with him. But now he did, and it was... Wonderful!
This full-on tickle fest only lasted about a minute, though it felt like an eternity, when Iruma noticed the tears in Asmodeus's crinkled eyes.
"Haha, okay, okay, ease up Clara."
"Aaawwww, I didn't get to test his other peet!" She chuckled, letting go of Asmodeus's foot.
The dishevelled demon lay there on his back, panting heavily. A lazy hand came up to swipe his tangled pink locks from his forehead. His clothes were wrinkled, and his shirt had ridden up past his abs. Somehow, his other sock had come free from his foot during his thrashing.
"Hah... Hey... Why..."
"Are you alright, Asmodeus?" Iruma asked, tilting his head as he waited for Asmodeus to catch his breath.
"Aww man, did we over do it? I'm-"
"Why'd you stop?"
Clara and Iruma looked at each other in suprise.
"Too many wiggly-woos will make you sleepy, or worse, the hiccy-pups!" Clara nodded.
"Yeah, don't you want us to stop?" Iruma asked, looking at Asmodeus's damp eyes and flushed cheeks.
Asmodeus furrowed his brow, not quite understanding why Iruma would say that. "Am I supposed to want you to stop the wiggly-wo- uh, tickling?"
That's when Iruma and Clara realised. This demon is a Lee! Or, in their terms, very wiggly-woo positive!
"Alright, Azz. Shout 'wiggles' when you want us to stop."
"I doubt I'll be needing a code word to stop you from tiHIHIAHAHA!"
The room was filled with laughter once more as Asmodeus was bombarded with playful tickling. All three of them laughing and joking together. The happy sounds danced out into the hallway, as Opera was on his way to fetch them for food.
He smiled to himself, letting the three play, just for a few minutes more.
"Hm... At least they're building up an appetite."

Can I request a cutesy scenario with Kalego noticing the shape of his human s/o's ears and how it differs from his own demon looking ones? Thank you ❤️
this is so adorable, I love it.
---
You brushed your hair behind your ear as you bent down to grab your bag, ready to head home for the day after dealing with moody teenagers. Kalego watched you, noticing for the first time your rounded ear, several piercings decorating the cartilage.
"You're ears are weird," Kalego said, his hand reaching out and gingerly touching your ear before his brain could fully comprehend what he was doing.
Laughing, you stood back up, the shock on his face a welcome expression from the usual sour one. "I know we haven't been dating that long, but did you just now notice?"
Jerking his hand back, Kalego fought against the blush creeping up his face at what he just did. Even though it was only the two of you in the classroom, he had never so much as given you a lingering glance while in public. He had a very strict line between personal and professional life, outside of Balam who made it hard to keep the line in place. "You always have your hair down so I never saw your ears clearly," Kalego said. "I've never seen round ears like that before."
"Iruma has round ears too," you said, walking out of the classroom with him. "And here I thought you were more observant than this, Mr. Guard Dog," you teased.
Kalego tried to stutter something out but it turned into an incoherent rant that just had you laughing more.

C for the alphabet soup ask ? :)
Thanks for the ask! :3c for my sanity sake I’ll be sticking with my twst ocs, though I’ve also included my wip babies (and breaking my own rules of reserving my wna girls for my wna blog bc i don’t talk about them enough www)
Cetus Larimar
3rd year in Octavinelle and I made him only bc i wanted a whale shark merfolk oc. He’s a big boi and a little pookie. I’m not sure if I ever posted his UM but he does have one according to my drafts, it’s just nameless bc I couldn’t think of a name yet.
Shi Canlong
3rd year of my WIP fandorm Qilin, was the former dorm head until Yanque (2nd year, current dorm head) fought him for the position and won. He’s adopted and raised in a strict family so he’s actually pretty hard-working, he’s just also an arrogant lil shit (lol). I like to think of him as a bit of an honest guy
Calla Megrez
2nd year in Monarchia WNA (Az’s fanschool). I ended up developing her quite a bit in terms of trivia because it was really fun to do a “wild child” character. I also did a Black Clover AU for her because of it (the “wild child” aspect) since hierarchy and social class is a major theme in Black Clover, I thought it would be interesting to see how someone who’s generally rather removed from such social classes (due to being a bit of a societal outcast) would function.
Celestia Vikare
1st year WIP in Kriegskald and based off of Icarus! She’s a child genius who got into WNA early (13) and is basically a lil shit www a very typical ore-sama type character who gets super defensive when criticised but if you praise her it’ll go straight to her head (lol). She just does whatever she wants so she’s always getting in trouble
Clair Moreau
Vice dorm head of Lyrania (my fanschool WOA) and based off of the violin princess from Music Land. He’s canonically shipped with Lula (dorm head and based off of the alto saxophone prince) and is gnc. He’s generally pretty reserved but also a bit of a violin/strings instrument freak (specifically the actual strings. He likes pressing on those). I think I named him after the Clair de Lune?
Calixto Fynderne
2nd year based off of Narcissus, originally for Key’s fanschool PSU but like idk what to do with him lol, he’s neighbours with Lauren (WNA girl based off of Echo) and was her first crush but didn’t work out. Since most of his parasocial fans are girls his age, he’s not very good with women. His favourite food is also not disclosed for related reasons. He’s an awkward kid who loves himself much more than others, but you just need a lot of patience and maybe a bit of masochism to get him to open up www
Cosmo Dorado
1st year for Lizz’s fanschool DIE and based off of the Grizzly Gulch in HK Disneyland. He’s a very happy-go-lucky (emphasis on lucky) kid and honestly I almost had Komaeda in mind while I was making him because his talent is luck (except he doesn’t have the luck cycle that Komaeda does, he’s more like Naegi, though I also based him off of Uno from Nanbaka and unintentionally Orias from Iruma). Another problematic kid that does whatever tf he wants, but he looks up to the dorm head :3c
Claude Avenant
Music teacher and residential manipulative hag of NRC based off of Maestro Forte. Formerly a bigshot in classical music but retired and currently teaching as a bit of a hobby. I think I gave him a cane because Maestro Forte as an organ is bolted to the wall, so a human twisted from him would probably have mobility issues? It probably would have made more sense to make him paralysed to some extent but Maestro Forte is basically part of the room he was in because of all the stuff that’s connected so like???? The only thing that moves is his face and keys???? I don’t know man
Callista Lebeau
Librarian/Teacher at WNA and based off of Belle/Beauty (both Disney and original version). I think I had something I wanted to plan between her and Vargas due to their inspos but it’s been so long I forgor. According to age-old discord messages her sisters are like, guest teachers at WNA from time to time because ✨plot devices✨

I think that it's thank to Allocer that the teachers managed to reach Atori's location so fast. After all Atori says "you're not Iruma" when he attacks Allocer's team,
Tumblr media
i think that Allocer is enough smart to tell it to the teachers "he searchs iruma" before go to the drops tent.
And Dantalion was here, watchinf all the
Tumblr media
Dali looks so pissed here
Ifrit wasn't far away of location since he had fought Asmodeus shortly before. He's literally the first to reach the location, few second after Shiida. The other teachers arrives just after. But the manga shows that he's here first.
Tumblr media
Like Shiida kicks Atori, he falls on the floor while she catches Iruma, and then Ifrit is here "yo intruder", so Ifrit could have been able to save Iruma if Shiida had not been arrived before. after all, the teachers thinks that he was the best match against Atori
Tumblr media
So i think that, even if Shiida didn't manage to be here just in time, Ifrit could have saved Iruma.
Yeah, his standoff with shiida was 5 seconds max, and suddenly all the teachers were surrounding him!
But the problem is that if shiida hasn't kicked him, he would still have iruma as hostage.
It's one thing to kick the traitor's ass for endangering the students, and a whole ass thing when said traitor has a hostage
And not just any hostage, that is their employer's grandson! If it was any other student they would've fought to get him, but iruma? Nope. That's a 'distract till sullivan gets here' kinda situation. If sullivan saw him with a wrapped up iruma in his hand, atori would be dead, no questions asked. Good luck holding him back, opera!
Actually, i bet balam would be trying to hold opera back if atori still had iruma.
So anyways. Good job, Allocer! You're the reason why one of your classmates is still alive!!

Mairuma pocket game AU 14.7.22
There is a really popular game going around the Netherworld. You get one little digital creature who you can direct in battle, and you fight randomly spawned monsters and other players for experience and customization. After getting absolutely crushed by someone who fought with a miniature Delkira, Lied checks the Player Profile and discovers that was Iruma.
Iruma’s excuse? The randomly generated fighter he got had completely broken stats from the start, and Opera taught him how to play.
The reality is that Iruma’s fighter is literally Alikred/Delkira who found a way to climb into the game and has been building exp and power in order to come back... and Opera taught him how to play.

It wasn't often that Lucifer let his more...intense emotions get the better of him, usually giving an air of confidence more than anything else. Showing such things, such weakness, only gave those who hated his existence more power over him than they had already, a sign they could push him around and get rid of him at any opportunity. He couldn't let them have any such chance, for he wasn't going to keep on living in spite of being hated...by everyone but one person.
But the prince was young, and despite being his own individual, he was born from the emotional Iruma. This meant his heart was just as fragile as it was strong, he was just as drowned in his own sorrows as he was his anger and vengeance. And when the time of his birthday runs around, his heart is, un-willfully, displayed on his sleeve, his body shaking from the instant he awoke that evening; the one right before his most hated day of the year.
His birthday was the one night he didn't get to awaken to see, for his consciousness always was drowned out by Iruma's who used such time to celebrate his own birthday. No doubt King Sullivan did it on purpose, for his precious grandson's birthday celebration mattered more than the life of the manifestation of Iruma's demonic nature. It just rubbed salt into the wound, that his own existence didn't matter, and despite how he fought each and every night to keep on existing, the fact his own life was out of his hands was...terrifying when he let himself think about it for too long.
What if he was to never wake up again? What if Iruma took his own demonic power back into his heart, and Lucifier along with it? What if he was never going to achieve his dreams, his dreams of becoming the demon king?
What if was never going to see Azz anymore?
All these questions consumed his mind whether it was awake or asleep, Lucifer unable to escape his anxieties no matter where his soul was. Awakening tonight much later than he usually does for certain added to his anxieties, especially when he was so stressed out that he didn't quite notice Azz being in the room at first, despite being in the same place he always was.
Without warning, he frantically jumps off the bed to begin searching, calling Azz's name over and over. In his frenzy, one could hear the strain in his breaths, the agony of his voice as he kept tearing the entire room apart in search for him. It's only after the entire place is a mess that he finally registers the sight of his spear before him.
And Lucifer jumps to attach himself to the other's torso in a desperate embrace, all the while tears cannot help but flow from his eyes.
Tumblr media
"Azz!!! Y-You're here! Y-You're still here! Y-You didn't...Y-You didn't leave me!!!"
Lucifer sobs as his heart takes the wheel. It controled his every action all the while showing one fact and one fact only. Despite his great power, despite how terrifying he can be when vengence ruled over, the prince was still a frightened child desperate for love and broken beyond repair.
For that was the hand he was dealt being born in Prince Iruma's shadow...

For Sake of a Smile --Ch. 19
Fandom: Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun
Pairing: Balam Shichiro/Reader
Summary: Hell on earth was your motto for your job. Granted, you were pretty sure earth really was hell, considering the shit you had seen. And the fact your coworker was a child. Suzuki Iruma, in fact. A kid who’s life was decidedly worse than yours, but smiled despite everything.
And you’d do a lot for his smile. Including summoning a demon and signing your life away.
But as it turns out, hell (The Netherworld, actually) was a lot better than living on earth. Demons were more humane than a lot of humans you knew.
And Iruma’s smile wasn’t the only one that would change your life.

"I AM THE WORST MOTHER EVER!" You bawled as you buried your face in Sullivan's shoulder as he held you close. "I can't believe I forgot Iruma's birthday!"
"You've been under a lot of stress, sweetie," Your adoptive father reassured, rubbing circles along your back. "I'm sure Iruma understands, you know how he is."
"That makes it worse," You cried. You knew Iruma would forgive you and shrug it off, but to you that was worse than him being upset. Because it was a stark reminder that until just a few years ago, he never had his birthday celebrated. No one cared for him enough to take the time and celebrate his life - his existence.
It tore at you, because you knew even if he didn't act like it, you were sure your lapse of memory had reminded him of those dark days. Did he think you were as careless as his biological parents? That now that your lives had improved, you didn't want to celebrate such things?
"Then let's make it up to our boy, hmm?" Sullivan offered, breaking through your thoughts as he tilted your chin to look at him and wipe your tears. "For this year, and all the birthdays I missed as well."
You nodded your head eagerly at the idea. Yes. You would make up for lost time; not just the last few weeks, but the ones you hadn't been there before too.
To make sure Iruma knew how cherished he was.
----
As you were quick to learn, Demonic Rites were - well - the devilish version of a grand birthday party. While Opera and Sullivan took the lead coordinating the event, you helped as best you could; choosing some of the dishes to be served and presents from the three of you - since they were busy with organizing the event - but also making sure Iruma was kept preoccupied as not to notice anything was amiss.
While traditionally Demonic Rites were saved for milestone birthdays - with much smaller events for the other years - Sullivan was all too happy to use the excuse that it was the first birthday he was able to celebrate with his grandson. So he was apparently going all out from what you could gather, renting a whole other castle.
Though as it turned out, that was tradition as well; apparently even demons believed in bad luck, and holding a Rite in your own dwelling was a surefire way to invoke misfortune. It was also the reason for the costumes; in case Bad Luck did find the revelers, they couldn't curse you if they couldn't recognize you.
"Life is precious in the Netherworld," Shichiro explained over the phone the evening before the Rite. "Our world is harsh, and once upon a time it was not uncommon for a demon to be killed before reaching adulthood. So we take every precaution to protect it, especially when we celebrate it.
"It's also a time where demons show their gratitude for their peers. After all, demons do not frequently bond the way humans do, and showing appreciation and kinship is usually very rare. The Misfit class are truly misfits in that regard…"
They were; not just for demons, but even on earth they'd be an odd bunch. Yet you couldn't help but love all of them, hearing the debacle that occurred earlier that day as they fought over who was Iruma's friend and who was the boy's 'soulmate'.
You had to agree, Clara and Az seemed to be platonic (assumedly, at least) soulmates. Those three had a bond like no other. If there was such a thing as soulmates, it was those three.
But the entire class was still bonded tighter than any friend group you had seen - let alone experienced. Those thirteen students could achieve anything if they set their mind to it. And somehow, Iruma was more-or-less the ringleader of their troupe.
"You're coming tomorrow, right?" You asked, glancing at the costume that hung from your closet door. Both Sullivan and Opera had assisted with choosing it…
Well - they had done more than assist, to be honest. It was more like they had chosen it and you meekly agreed when you saw the looks on their faces. Not that it was something you hated or even disliked; it was beautiful, and something that had caught your eye right away.
The thing was, it was so… decadent, even for a costume. Beautiful but wispy fabric that flowed with the slightest breeze, the waist framed with a corset-vest that - thankfully - hadn't felt too uncomfortable when you tried it on, and a high neckline that would hide your lack of wings. Then the crown of flowers and faux horns that completed the piece.
You worried it was too fancy for such a thing, but assumed the two demons would know best. Then there was the anxiety of Shichiro's reaction to it, despite the fact he never seemed to judge whatever you wore. Or rather, be it a casual outfit or something more special, his gaze always lingered enough to cause you to feel beautiful.
"Nothing could make me miss it," Shichiro assured. "I'll be there, promise."
---
Sullivan and Opera had left early to finalize the preparations, leaving you to escort Iruma to the surprise party. Thankfully, Opera had hitched the Nightmares to one of the smaller carriages before leaving so you didn't ruin your dress. Especially knowing Deinos, who loved to be as impish as she could be.
The Nightmares knickered softly as you and Iruma exited the mansion, both dressed in your costumes. "To Lord Sullivan," You instructed the demonic-horses simply as you opened the carriage door. They snorted in understanding, making you smile as you patted Lampon's flank before boarding.
"Are you going to tell me what's going on?" Iruma asked as the carriage began to move.
"It's a secret~" You answered in a singsong voice, smiling at his pout. "You'll love it though, I promise."
His pout didn't change, though he watched as you smoothed down your skirt, still unused to such rich material. "Well, you look beautiful, mom."
You blushed, "And you look very handsome, Iruma. Who would have thought we both could clean up so well, hmm?"
He laughed at that, and soon both of you were sharing memories of when you were less than presentable. Such as being covered in fish guts after being tripped - or when he came back from a forging trip, completely covered in mud and leaves. It had taken weeks to get every bit of mud and grime from the tiny shower afterwards, but you refused to spray him with the hose used to clean the floor of the workshop, mainly because the water was ice cold and it was late autumn and winter had been attempting to set in.
Before you knew it, the carriage slowed to a stop. Opera opened the door before you could even think about it, holding a hand out to Iruma and then you once the boy was on the ground.
But before you could take a look around, a blindfold settled over your eyes. "Calm down, my dear," Sullivan reassured, his hands settling on your shoulders, thumbs rubbing calming circles. "We don't want to ruin the surprise."
"This is Iruma's Demonic Rite!" You protested as your adopted father led you presumably to where the Rite was to take place.
"Do you think I would celebrate my grandson's life, and not my daughters?" Sullivan chuckled as a groan of old, heavy doors opening filled the air. A sound you were familiar with, given the Library's own doors perchance to complain every time they were opened.
But surely you weren't there. You heard hushed yet excited whispers, making your heart pound as Sullivan continued to guide you. He gently coaxed you up a couple of steps before turning you around and encouraging you to sit.
A moment later you heard Opera guide Iruma into a seat next to yours. There was a hushed countdown before the blindfold fell from your eyes, revealing the elaborately decorated ballroom with a large bonfire burning brightly in a pit at the center. The Misfits along with a few other Babyls students cheered your name along with Iruma's, making your heart catch in your throat.
"Mom?" Iruma asked softly as Sullivan and Opera joined in with the others as they began to dance-- an ancient dance, full of guttural words that truly made it seem like a demonic ritual.
"A Demonic Ritual is how they celebrate birthdays," You explained. "We -- grandpa, Opera, and I -- planned on it being a secret, and to also make up for missing your actual birthday this year. I didn't think they'd plan on putting me in the spotlight too…"
Iruma's hand found yours. "But we've always celebrated our birthdays together. I was actually just telling Professor Balam that the other day…"
Oh. Oh. You caught sight of the tall broad demon standing apart, watching the revelers dance while also apparently taking a head count.
Those sneaky demons. Your heart grew warm at the realization that while you thought you were in on the surprise for Iruma, the three demons had been building a surprise for you as well.
As if he was aware of your gaze, Shichiro looked towards you, his expression shifting into a smile as he offered a small wave.
"It seems we are missing a guest," Opera said as he appeared on Iruma's other side. You tore your gaze away from Shichiro for a moment, and in a flash of light and smoke, a familiar white puffball appeared, looking disgruntled as always.
"EGGY SENSEI!" The Misfits cheered. Kalego's reluctant presence seemed to be the last thing needed for the celebration to kick into full swing.
Over the last several months, you had slowly gotten used to the positive attention from the students as well as the teachers of Babyls. But that did little to prepare you for sitting in the spotlight as the guests symbolically gave part of their life to you as they poured out the burning water into the central bonfire. Or as each knelt one by one, offering their gifts with the heartfelt words: "Thank you for being born and living amongst us."
"I appreciate the love and kindness you give us, Mrs. Suzuki."
"I'm so happy I get to have two moms! My siblings are so jealous!"
"I know you're not my mother, but it really feels like you are sometimes."
"Your beauty is outstanding, my lady! May you continue to age so gracefully!"
"Thank you for caring so much."
"Thank you for bringing Iruma to us!"
"I appreciate your dedication to Babyls and its students," Kalego grumbled begrudgingly, offering a small delicate flower as a gift. (Where he got one considering his Summoned state, you weren't sure.) "You are one among few others whom I can tolerate."
"That's high praise coming from the professor," Iruma whispered in your ear, as if you weren't already aware. Yet any words died on your lips as Shichiro approached, quickly bowing low as his green feathered wings spread out wide to their full extent.
Yes, the others did the same as a sign of respect - but something seemed different….
Or maybe you were just head over heels for Shichiro that seeing him like that, knowing just how strong and powerful he was yet showing his weakest spot to you…
Your thoughts were interrupted as he looked up, his gaze focused on both you and Iruma as he spoke your names. "Thank you both for living in our world, and for being amongst us."
The sentiment had been expressed before, but by those oblivious to the reality of you and Iruma's true circumstances. But he knew. He knew it all. Your throat grew tight as he presented his gifts, hands briefly grazing yours as you accepted the box as your gazes locked.
The warmth, the sincerity, the love in his eyes meant the world to you. He meant the world to you.
You struggled with the urge to simply slide from your chair to your knees and pull him close for a kiss to reciprocate those tender emotions. Except you were still aware of everyone else watching, so you just caressed his hand deliberately with a smile hopefully conveying your feelings.
His eyes crinkled as he returned your smile, fingers lacing briefly before he pulled away and stood. Your eyes followed him as he stepped away.
Until Sullivan stepped up, his own eyes glittering knowingly. He didn't say a word, but knelt down as he took Iruma's hand as well as yours into his, his black wings opened, but curled around the three of you.
"You both mean so much to me, you are truly my treasure," He spoke softly, squeezing your hand tightly. "I am sincerely thankful you both came into my life."
"Grandpa…"
"Dad…"
This time, you did leave your seat, having the same idea as Iruma as you wrapped your arms around both your father and son, and feeling their arms around you.
You were loved. Just as strongly as you loved them, they loved you.
----
The rest of the party was truly a party. You swore you had been to more festivals and parties in the last few months than before in your prior life.
But instead of standing on the outskirts of the party with Kalego and Balam as you typically ended up doing, you were drawn into the menagerie this time. You danced with several students as well as Opera, Sullivan, and then oddly Fluffego, when he was all but shoved in your arms by an impish Opera. He acted begrudgingly as you twirled him around, his small hands holding onto your fingers. You had your toes stepped on as well as stepped on a few yourself, but it was all brushed off with a laugh and even more dancing.
You hadn't had unbridled fun like this for such a long time. Your face hurt from smiling so widely, ribs aching from laughing.
But your favorite part was when large warm hands wrapped around your waist when you had slipped towards the table laden with food and drinks. "You look beautiful," Shichiro whispered as he held you tight around your midsection, making you smile. You had briefly danced with him, no more than thirty seconds, during one where you were constantly changing partners. Otherwise it seemed like the universe had conspired to keep you separated.
"I'm sure I would've been more lovely if my personal hairdresser had helped," You teased lightly as you glanced over the treats, taking your time to enjoy being held against him. "But I have a nagging suspicion he was in on the surprise."
"Iruma explained how you had always celebrated your birthday with him, and never told him when your actual birthday was," He admitted, chin resting atop your head despite the decorative horns. "We -- Lord Sullivan, Senpai, and myself-- figured it would be best to continue the tradition. Especially considering you would likely refuse to tell us once you knew what it may entail."
You bit your lip out of reflex to hide your smile. "You three really do know me well, don't you?" Because he was right; once learning of Demonic Rites, and knowing Sullivan's own tendencies to spoil you, you would've kept your lips sealed.
Which was related in a way to why you never told Iruma which day you were born. You hadn't wanted the boy to give up more of his hard earned money on your behalf. Sharing his birthday had been a bit of a compromise in a way, so you both were able to celebrate each other while you could make sure he didn't use a lot of his meager funds on you.
"Both you and Iruma are completely selfless,"  He answered, squeezing you tighter. "To the point I really wish you two would have a bit more of a sense of self-preservation."
"So when exactly is your birthday?" You asked after a moment, making him chuckle at your poor attempt at changing the topic.
He squeezed you tighter, adjusting to nuzzle your neck gently; considering his mask was still in place. "I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours."
You laughed at that, leaning your head back and finally looking up at him. "I love you, Shichiro, but I know better than that."
A flash of surprise crossed his face and his grip tightened to the point of nearly taking your breath away. "...do you, really?"
You realized your slip. You had admitted to yourself - to others - your feelings, but never to him. And, well - for good reason from what you understood about demon culture.
But… screw it.
"Yes," You answered, twining your hands with his. "I really do love you."
His adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed, the look in his eye changing slightly. He guided you to turn in his arms so you were face to face, still holding you tight against him. "Demons, especially those who are courting," He continued, his voice threatening to become even huskier, "don't say those words freely, or lightly."
You had gleaned as much from the books you had read. Some said it freely to those they were crushing on, and during little flings. But once a demon entered courtship, the word became much more meaningful to their Intended.
And yes, you two had just started courting - and sometimes the courting period lasted several months to years - but there was no denying how you felt. He had come to mean so much to you, and you could easily imagine him being in every part of your life. Not just the romantic moments, but the mundane parts of life; like doing dishes, or chores (if Opera ever allowed that to happen again).
You wrapped your arms around his shoulders, pulling him down so you could face him eye to eye as you stood on your tiptoes. "I love you, Balam Shichiro. With all my heart. And I can't imagine being with anyone else but you."
Before you could blink, his hands cupped your backside and he lifted you up, your body pressed against his as you fought the urge to wrap your legs around his hips, knowing in your current dress that would be very inappropriate.
Shichiro's eyes were desperate in more than one way as he searched yours, undoubtedly using his bloodline ability to find a hint of a lie. "One more time?"
You couldn't help but smile before you cupped his face in your hands, meeting his dark eyes and holding his intense gaze. "I love you, Shichiro. And I'll say it as many times as you want me to."
If you weren't in a room full of students - as well as your father and Opera, (and you supposed Kalego as well) - you would have happily removed his mask to kiss him properly, but you knew he was self conscious of his scar and refrained. That, and you had a very good idea his self control was on the verge of slipping; as was yours, to be honest. One kiss would lead to more, and you knew you'd wouldn't want to stop.
"I love you too," He finally admitted as your words sunk in. "So, so much." There was a hint of desperation to his voice, which paired with the way his grip on you was more than just supporting you against his frame, but feeling the plush curve of your butt.
There was no denying the thoughts running through your head, or the yearning that filled your body. You bit your lip as your fingers as well as your gaze traveled down his neck, feeling the strong cords of muscle beneath. He wasn't wearing the collar of feathers, but instead a dark, high collared top that felt like velvet beneath your fingers.
It would be so easy to push it away and press your lips to the sensitive skin there and listen to him hold back a whimper and groan as you tortured him. The thought of reducing him to a whimpering mess always tempted you, making you bite your lip as your mind drifted into the gutter.
Shichiro said your name quietly, making it sound like a plea as you continued to rub the velvet cloth trying to feel his muscular shoulders beneath as you thought.
You met his gaze, which felt as hot and heavy as the feeling settling in your lower gut. You knew what you wanted to do - what you thought he wanted to do too - but were uncertain how to proceed. Or rather, hesitant to take that next step. Was it being too bold?
Screw it. Fortune favored the bold, right?
"Why…don't we slip away somewhere more private?" You asked hesitantly, your attempt to be quiet making you sound a bit more sultry than intended.
His grip tightened even more, and you felt a hint of something hard press against your stomach. Yet instead of eagerly agreeing or even just carrying you away, (as you may have thought about more than once in previous daydreams) he protested - but with obvious reluctance. "It's your Rite, and…"
"Is there an unwritten rule that I have to stay here when I'd rather be alone with you?" You asked. Because devi, your mind was fully in the gutter and the thought of trying to pretend you were totally not thinking such things while you tried to mingle with everyone else sounded like torture.
And not the pleasant kind. The kind you hoped waited for you in the near future.
"Well, no," He admitted after a moment, his brow furrowed in confusion. "But would you really rather sneak away with me than stay and celebrate?"
Devi, how could a demon be so pure? "One hundred percent yes," You replied firmly before boldly adding on: "To the point I don't care where we go, as long as it's somewhere private and we won't be disturbed." Because hell or heaven help you if you couldn't at least get him half-undressed so you could explore his body with both your hands and lips. It was taking every bit of your self control as it was, with those thoughts running in your mind while being braced against him, the growing firmness pressing against you left little doubt he was having similar thoughts.
There was a moment of silence as his gaze became distant and unfocused, his cheeks turning bright red."Shichiro…?" You called softly after the moment stretched on. He snapped out of his thoughts, though his cheeks stained red even more.
"I, uh, well, I-I have been wondering if you would like to, um, come to my home? I've been working on my nest…."
Oh. Oh. That was much more than finding a closet or unoccupied room.  It was your turn to blush, your heart racing in anticipation as well as more than a little bit of anxiety.
You wanted to - you really wanted to - but you couldn't help but feel a bit nervous. It had been such a long time - what felt like a lifetime to be honest - long before Iruma came into your life, since you had been with someone. And while kissing and petting had been second nature when it came to Shichiro….
Well, your daydreams hadn't quite prepared you for the real possibility.
Yet, again, you wanted to. And he was bound to be a more thoughtful lover than you had experienced before, demon or not.
After what felt like forever, you finally took the metaphorical step and nodded while biting your lip. "I-I would like that."
--- Short---
"They seriously don't think they're being subtle, right?" Soi sighed as he watched the two adults head towards the exit. Well, Balam walking somewhat stiffly with you cradled in his arms, your face red as a tomato but laughing.
Granted, his ability made disappearing easy, and also made it more noticeable when others tried to sneak off… but, still. That was about as obvious as anyone could be without making a loud announcement.
"Soi!" Leid jumped, startled by the demon's sudden presence. "You have got to stop doing that!"
"Are you talking about our two love bird teachers?" Elizabetta asked with a giggle, not as easily startled as their classmate. She also had noticed the pair, but was delighted by the turn of events. After all, their romance was something straight out of her own daydreams, making her hope even more that she would have a fairytale romance as well. "Aren't they adorable?"
"That's one word for it," Soi acknowledged, not as enamored with the situation as she was. "I might want to adjust my bet…"
"You and everyone else," Jazz agreed, summoned by the word 'bet'. He was already pulling out the notebook he was using to keep track of the massive pool going. "Lets see, are you wanting to change when you think their wedding day will be, or when Professor Balam will have mom knocked up?"
"Are you still taking bets?" Opera asked after overhearing the four students discuss their options. All four froze, glancing at the security demon and expecting a reaction much like Kalego's when he had found the betting during one of his lectures. (Granted, shortly after he had placed his own as well. He just didn't appreciate it being discussed during class.)
Instead, there was no anger behind Opera's placid expression, just simple curiosity.
"Er, yeah…." Jazz answered as Soi disappeared and both Elizabetta and Leid stepped away from the feline demon.
"Good. Both Lord Sullivan and myself would like to participate…"
