laundry list of lusail track's sins:

the FIA changes track limits on turns 12/13 by around 80 cm to try limit damage to tyres (this leads to the addition of an extra 10 minute practice session directly before qualifying for the sprint race. on a weekend with only 1 hour of free practice anyway)

the FIA implements limit of a maximum of 18 laps on any 1 set of tyres due to the curbs & track surface literally shaking the tyres to the point of structural damage (this leads to a minimum of 3 pitstops for all drivers during the race)

nico rosberg reports that pirelli informed the FIA of possible tyre issues in Qatar and the warning was reportedly ignored (he revealed this live on Sky F1)

george russel opens his visor during pitstops to try get some air onto his face

scar knew it was grian. he couldn’t see him, but he didn’t need to to know. a hand rested over scar’s shoulder.

“it’s over. you won.”

scar’s breath hitched. he began to tremble. “it’s…over?” he asked.

grian cupped scar’s face in his hands. “you did it, scar.” tears ran down scar’s face, and grian wiped them away.

“i…don’t have to kill anymore?”

“no, it’s all done.”

scar collapsed to the ground, relief rushing through his body all at once. he hadn’t even realized how on edge he’d become. he’d grown so used to it, he wasn’t sure how to react.

“i’m so sorry, scar,” grian said, sitting next to him and rubbing his back. his presence was warm, like the sun’s rays, comforting even if it wasn’t physical. how he’d yearned for this warmth, any warmth, but especially grian’s. it was the reason he was adorned the way he was, draped in a cloak of poppies and lilacs.

“what are you sorry for?”

“you know what it’s like to win.”

scar found he didn’t have a response.

he’d always imagined the victors as happy, as proud to have fought the good fight and come out on top. he’d imagined a celebration. but this…?

the loneliness was crushing. everywhere he looked was a desolate wasteland. fires still raged from the battles. arrows and fallen weapons littered the ground. smoke filled the air, and blood coated his hands.

it was too much for him. he couldn’t cope with it all.

Pet Life Each player gets given a tamed pet- the pet is modified so it has hearts n stuff and is cuter and when they start to get more attached the pet just DIES randomly they could be mining, having a fun time w/ their best buddy- then their pet just DIES To get a new pet (and/or their original pet back from the dead) they have to complete a task given to them if they dont do the task correctly/by the end of the session/just decide not to do it they get eliminated/out of the game :) if they do that successfully then they get their pet back and continue on until that one dies and it's a loop basically the twist is that a player (almost like a boogeyman) gets the chance to kill another players pet, at the sacrifice that their pet suddenly has a very strong urge to die (walk a little to close to lava, attack hostile mobs for fun, etc) so now they have to watch out for their pet until that one dies and they do the task yk? also, other players can kill other players to eliminate them they're all on red life btw- cant go up. jus start on red hope this made sense

btw this is probably one of the most insane and telling scenes in regards to stewy nd kendall. like the stewy-marcia interaction first off. the way it’s so clearly paralleling kenstewy with logan and marcia. stewy and marcia literally watch their respective persons in silence. also important to note that stewy was one of the first ppl to greet logan when he arrived probably bc he knew that one of the first things logan was going to do was approach kendall and he wanted to get in there first to gauge the situation + logan. but stewy’s concern for kendall in regards to what could happen when he’s in close proximity to logan is so clear and almost synonymous with marcia’s own concern/love for logan at this point. like it seems intentional that they were shown to be like. logan and kendall’s respective partners here
