ok i revamped it from two earlier stories there are 3 stages to the production of this project with possibly many more to come. i think this infos like necessary to understand how much this projects like in limbo. and ill tell you all about it

the joke story. in this stage the title was "the chlilds wish" (typo included. during 7th grade inside joke me and my friends (theres 4 of us) bullshitted in a messy google docs and tried to make as funny as possible (it wasnt btw But its charming and nostalgic in its own way i guess) and from there came the characters sprinkles nugget and candy jade and tree x and a bunch others. The story basically involved a lot of shitty inside jokes and also some silly self inserts we made U get the deal we were in middle school making friendships. Pictured below is nugget (green) candy (pink) and sprinkles (blue)

2. 7-8th grade things start to get srs around this point. the title for the story @ this stage is "hazelquest". Me and my friends (3 of us now, the 4th one moved to a different class wah) are starting to come up with elaborate plots and arcs for them and we came up with a plot about the main character sprinkles and his siblings (candy + nugget) living in tihs library/house hybrid. and sprinkles on his somethingteenth birthday made a magic wish for a special quest (ALSO around this time we came up with the last name hazelquest) to prove himself and he got one somehow. and his quest was to like find the missing gemstones for this huge magic tree cause the world was like...corrupted or something and bringing the gemstones back would uncorrupt it or something. the main antagonist was the void and the antihero or villain i forgor was my bestie's oc theo. i forgot most of the plot LOL but here were some cover ideas i had

as you can see it was a lot more fantasy based before with like magic and spells and stuff it was more urban fantasyish than it is now lol. also heres nugget candy and tree x in my very fandomy artstyle

around 9th grade we started getting bored of the story and we realized we were never gonna finish it so we just slowly quit LOL. Until

3. da revampening

this is the BIGGEST change by far its borderline unrecognizable when you compare it to story 1. so basically i listened to a song around 9th gradeish and i had such a moment i was like wait. i rememebr this story. so i ask my friends if they would let me take the story for my own since theyre not interested in working on it anymore and they said YES!!!!!!!!! and one of my friends pulled their characters from the story which was fine by me + my bestie gave me full rights to do whatever i want w his oc theo. So here we are rn. eventually SPRINKLES turned into MILO, CANDY turned into "soon to be renamed", NUGGET turned to my silly fucking rabbit valentine. jade turned into jaiden (whos nickname is jade and thats almost all they ever called her so theres little change there) and tree x became TRIXIE! valentine and trixie pictured below im sure youve seen them before probablu. also i dont have a name for this one yet

and the history lessons done now #evolution so ill tell you the actual current things i have in mind so far. Literally all of this is subject to change i could be lying about any of this OR it could be the finalized ideas . Neither of us could ever know

SPACE + MAGIC (SETTING)

theres gonna be space Theres gonna be so much stars and planets and galaxy you have no idear . Im kind of lessening the magic and spells and stuff 4 this new story purely cause im just not into that kinda stuff anumore but IDK if theres gonna be minimal magic. like there might be runes and stuff but in a more astral stars galazy kind of way rather than an ancient wizards and staffs and spells kind of way. i might make it more scientific but put a lottttttt of artistic license into the science so the storys kinda magical but being ambigious abt it.

for the setting, its gonna take place in their universe's equivalent of our solar system probably? like earth and venus and saturn and mars and all of those but earths gonna be like different like the placement of the continents and culture and stuff its also present-day ish also theres some mythology and god involved somewhere. IN THIS UNIVERSE theres like this place AND group of characters called the "astral". so theres the VOID (I havent removed the void from this story because i still like it) and theres the GODHEART which is the heart of the entire universe its so HUGE and fleshy at the same time (which i think is a byproduct of this phase i had when i was 14 where i was obsessed with flesh and meat and stuff i think you were there for it). there MIIIIIIGHT be a huge universe tree in this story jic i wanna revive some of stage 2s plot but in the meantime im still thinkin abt it

2. PLOT

i dont kno 😒. i just kno that the voids the main antagonist and theo''s the antihero/villain guy. also theyre gonna find their mom at some point. most of this projects just built on random plot beats and character arcs stitched together

3. CHARACTERS

most of the characters are half baked bcus the storys half baked. But in time they will be baked . just you wait

THE WORLDLY: these characters are part of da #normalworld Which means theyre not like Part of the astral or somethink

milo constelle (he/him) - Main character. ambigiously transgender. hes smart and kinda a nerd but also bitchy but bashful and well hes just a bit reserved. hes a weird assortment of things i dont know how to describe him... he loves science and space though. i think his speech patterns like kinda dry But hes funny and sarcastic and passionate abt the things he likes so ya..............Dont know his arc but i know that when i figure out the plot his arc will come right after

valentine "val" constelle (she/they/he) - Shes So many thinsgs shes everything. her dad was a superstar and she wanted to follow in his footsteps n become talented like him (but with acting) but when he died she had a super huge identity crisis cause she based herself a lot on him and she doesnt even know who she is if not "the daughter of a superstar" and her thing with acting went downhill bcus of the state shes in (if she doesnt know WHO she is how could she act like someone shes not? yadda yadda smth like that) and he lives the rest of his life as a washed up nobody but tries not to let it show how fucking MISERABLE he is <- i think thats the most i ever talked about her that isnt Oh pathetic sopping in rain. reminder that literlaly anything im talking abt could be changed at any time though btw LOL. also i dont know how to resolve his arc but we'll get there

candace "candy" constelle (she/her) - idk. Shes super strong and super bubbly and sweet and loves pink and i know more abt her personality than i do milo's but i have got to come up with an arc for her ASAP

trixie (they/them) - theyre a trickster prankster a Little mischevious🤫!!! They are INSANELY clever and creative and resourceful and agile as fuck overall just one of my fave characters to think about. they have autism swag and have these cool little noise cancelling headphones with stickers on them whenever they get overwhelmed. Their sense of identity is rlly strong but their arc involves letting ppl help them and accepting help and talkin abt their feelinz. ive yet to work on their backstory though!

jaiden (she/ze(?)) - IDK ANYTHING ABT ZEM sobs.......

THE MEDIAL: In between the astral and the worldly

theodore "theo" infinity (he/they(?))- ANTIHERO antagonist i cant rlly decide. DURING the beginning of the story he tags along w the crew cause hes cute and silly And kinda the punching bag TBH ....... he starts off the most morally positive + kindest but gradually he builds up a resentment for them for something i forgot but what rlly gave him the push was when he met the void somehow. all of this is insanely vague apologies

orion (they/them) - I POSTED ABOUT THEM AND THEIR BACKSTORY I THINK so basifcelly they live at the fvery very BOTTOM of the unvierse just where the universe ends and the void meets. theyre mute aswell + deaf + have this little computer bug thingie that follows them around :) And because theyre at the bottom of the universe, the mythology of the universe involves them planting stars and cultivating them until theyre ripe enough to release them into the heavens above

Fandoms: the only one I’ve ever actually posted fics for is atla, but I definitely consumed my fair share of harry potter, percy jackson, hunger games, and doctor who related content back in the day

Most popular one-shot: a tale I know well, where Zuko bonds with the gaang through storytelling and also has a long overdue conversation with Aang.  I got emotional while writing this and then got even more emotional when going through the heartfelt comments and reactions it received.  

Most popular multi-chapter fic: I currently only have one multi-chapter fic published, watching you watching me, which is zukka fic that covers the point when Zuko joins the gaang through the end of the war.  I’m still one chapter away from completing it but it’s taking me forever (mostly because my motivation to write zukka has decreased immensely since when I started the fic back in july.  but I will finish it I swear)

Favorite story you’ve written so far: definitely a tale I know well but so I don’t repeat anything, I also really like there might be a life here.  it’s actually my least popular story on ao3 which I totally understand, I was trying something a little different in terms of perspective and overall tone and I’m not sure if I succeeded in conveying what was in my head.  but I like it :) 

Fic you were nervous to post: all of them but also none of them... I’m always a little nervous to post something I’ve created but I’m also like, at the end of the day these fics are something I’m writing for myself.  and remembering that kind of takes away any nerves I might have 

How you choose your titles: song lyrics, lines from poems, sometimes just a random phrase or word that seems to fit the vibe I’m going for

Do you outline: yes and no.  I find that when I’m really really inspired I just start writing with no regard for an outline, and then once my momentum slows down I plan things out a little more

Complete: in terms of what’s actually posted on my ao3, 3 of 4 fics are complete

In progress: only the zukka fic I mentioned above is currently in progress on my ao3 but I just went through my docs and counted 20 that I’d consider in progress (as in they consist of at least two sentences and I’ve worked on them in the past month lol)

Coming soon/not yet started: there’s at least 30 random ideas sitting in my notes app rn ranging from super expansive AUs to cute pairing-focused fics to very emotional gen fluff... and unless something totally unexpected happens, it’s gonna be years before any of those see the light of day

Do you accept prompts: sure I guess, I mentioned in an ask before that I don’t really like prompts just because I’m not that good at sticking to them.  but I’m always open to talking to other people about their ideas and maybe trying my hand at writing them

Upcoming story you are most excited to write: I can’t choose just one but I have an Aang-centric fic in the works that deals with his various moments of grief at different points in the show, a mailee fic that follows Mai and Ty Lee from childhood through the end of the war, and something a little different that’s in second person POV and highlights the amazing ladies of atla

Also I wanted to say that I’m so sorry that your experience with your father was even worse than Shoto’s. It is so upsetting to hear you have had to live through/with that. I hope you’re doing better now and have been able to heal from that experience. I do agree that it is nice that they made Hawks not a perfect character, “grey area” as you mentioned. It just makes me sad that he still idolizes an abuser, especially a child abuser and it seems like he forced Rei into procreation. Pt 2 next 🍡

My favorite of the teenagers is still Izuku &he will be till I die (sorry Sho!). I want to adopt him. Lol like his family seems great but I want to steal him& Eri. I can’t speak for everyone, but I would ❤️ to read your fic if you feel comfy posting it! I also suffer from insomnia, night terrors, anxiety, & MDD, as well as a huge hormone imbalance brought to you by PCOS lol so I could empathize a lot more with it & I feel like no one writes for those things & would ❤️ to see more with it! 🍡

🔪- scariest/creepiest experience?

this isn’t the scariest thing that’s ever happened to me but i guess i’ll tell this story. i’d never told anyone this before (that sounds so dramatic lol) SO. 

There was a convention i was at in 2013, i was around 17. On the last day of the con i had to take a shuttle from the hotel to the convention center. I had to take the shuttle alone so i was really nervous because 1. im awful with directions so i was scared i was gonna get lost. and 2. the fact that i was alone. I remember clutching my backpack like it was my lifeline. There was a guy on the bus next to me in a Doctor Horrible cosplay... I don’t remember who talked to who first, it was probably me pointing out who he’s dressed as. You probably know where this is going but we were talking and i don’t remember what he said but i remember feeling uncomfortable. I think he started singing for some reason? Singing a doctor horrible song. Like idk dude i dont wanna rain on anyone's parade but twice its happened where dudes have randomly sang to me at a con and i just feel uncomfortable when ppl do that. Part of it is probably the embarrassment/the attention. But anyway! That’s not really the “bad” part. 

We got off the bus and went to the convention center. He.. was following me around like we were friends. Of course I didn’t want to be rude so I didn’t say anything. So it was whatever i just walked around with him and figured he’d leave eventually. THEN. As we were walking he asked me if he could put his arm around me?! (At least he asked? right? (sarcasm)) So. I am so glad in that moment i didn’t give into my nature to say “yes” to everyone and i flat out told him no. He was like “oh so you don’t want me to mess up your cosplay right?” I awkwardly laughed like “Yep... my cosplay...” Then I told him i have to meet up with a friend and i left. 

Phew... sorry that was long lol. So yeah I know not a big deal compared to other girls experiences but it sure freaked me the heck out :/ 

🍓- one secret about yourself 

uhhh... when i was like 12 or something i had a self-insert/OC “fanfiction/story?” that were about friends in a rock band and I used pictures of generic anime girls to represent the characters. I also used pics of haruhi suzumiya to be the “villian” in the story (had no idea who she was or what the anime was i just found the pics on google lol) i cringe whenever i see haruhi suzumiya now. i remember there was a part of the story where *I* was pushed into a big hole by whatever-i-named-haruhi-suzumiya-girl and i had to go to the hospital. *Insert that spongebob inhale meme* Also “me” and the characters that were my friends all had boyfriends with the same hair color as each of us. because oF cOuRsE.

Also I know you probs have your inbox full of writing suggestions so instead of giving you suggestions, I thought I'd just share some Kagehina AUs that my friend and I enjoy talking about that hopefully make you as happy to think about as they make us,, -ella enchanted -beauty and the beast -mad max (kind of like the wasteland au lol) -stranger things -just a general superhero au That's it lol, have a great night!!

LISTEN – sorry to ignore the rest of this ask (ty for loving Wasteland though @ellessey-writes​ and I’m COMPROMISED. Siiiince it would be a bad idea for me to start another fic rn, have… whatever this is 

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful castle and a handsome prince King, who liked to spend his days holding the finest volleyball tournaments in all the land. He was an incredible setter, but demanded the highest level of athletics from those who attended his tournaments.

One tournament, a spiker appeared suddenly in the midst of the dark and rainy night, looking for shelter. Though he brought a volleyball as a gift, this spiker wasn’t up to the king’s standards and couldn’t hit his tosses, and the King had him thrown from the castle. 

But the spiker turned out to be a Magical Turniphead, and for the King’s cruelty, he cast a spell upon him and the entirety of his castle, turning the King into a monstrous beast and all his servants into furniture (instead of like, smaller beasts or something? The servants got totally screwed in this deal, you guys, at least Beast still had hands) that they may be forgotten from the minds of the town and all those who lived in it, unless the King one day found a spiker who could hit his impossible quicks – and fall in love with him along the way. 

If he could not do so before the last spot on the Turniphead’s magical volleyball turned completely black, he, and his castle, and all those who lived in it would be cursed, forevermore. 

And so they waited, as the Beast King’s heart turned forever colder. 

Okay gonna stop narrating there bUT CONSIDER:

town weirdo Hinata, the shorty spiker who is always practicing off by himself and insists HE CAN JUMP – he really is a funny boy, a cutie but a funny boy, he really is a funny boyyyyyyyyyyyy, THAT SHOUUUUU

Asahi as Maurice, the timid inventor who shuts himself away from the town that finds him too strange

Bokuto as Gaston, he’s actually REALLY NICE and just wants Hinata to be his loyal pupil but Hinata wants to be THE GREATEST ACE sorry Bokuto-senpai, but he’s gotta surpass you, bye

Bokuto goes into sad slumps over his lack of pupil-ship a lot and Akaashi has to break into so many musical numbers about how great Bokuto is to pull him out of it

One day Asahi ventures into the forest and gets lost and stumbles upon the Volleyball Castle, where he attempts to grab one of the shiny, brand new volleyballs lying about the court(yard) to replace Hinata’s wonky, worn out old one

Beast Kageyama f l i p s out and imprisons him (he needs to chill)

Kageyama still looks normal btw, but maybe he’s got horns and a tail and cute ears stop looking at me like that don’t judge me

Hinata comes to Asahi’s rescue and trades places with him, immediately cannot stand this asshole Beast 

But he does get to eat a lot of good food, courtesy of Oikawa the candelabra and Suga the teapot (feat. Iwaizumi as Cogsworth and Noya as Chip)

When he goes to the forbidden wing of the castle and discovers the magical volleyball, Beast flies into a rage and calls him a dumbass and so Hinata LEAVES

but he gets attacked by wolves and Kageyama saves him, so Hinata reluctantly drags him back to the castle to tend to his wounds and notice his rockin’ bod

Also, he wonders, why does everyone call Kageyama the Beast, and why does he hide in his castle all the time? Like, yes, there’s some beastly factors but he’s really pretty normal looking otherwise

Oikandle is like “Smile, Tobio-chan” so he does, and Hinata is like “oh, I see why, please stop smiling”

After typing Oikandle, I belatedly realized that Suga could make sure the tea always has enough SUGA-R god i’m sorry ok moving along

After the mutual life-saving, Hinata and Kageyama begin to BOND and Kageyama finds out about the way Hinata always has to practice volleyball in hallways and by himself, so he shows him HIS ROYAL VOLLEYBALL STADIUM

Hinata is beside himself, it’s so big and fancy and GWAAAAHHHHH smells like air salonpas, this is the Real Deal

And so they continue to get closer, though Kageyama won’t practice with him… because he just doesn’t think it’s possible that anyone could ever spike his toss, and he doesn’t want to allow himself to hope

But then one night he asks Hinata if they can play together, and they meet in the royal court 

Hinata is wearing a beautiful golden uniform and shining as bright as the sun and Suga is singing “Tale as old as time…” 

Kageyama is so in love that he can’t help himself, he tosses, his old king’s toss that no one could ever hit and everything is beautiful 

and HINATA SPIKES HIS TOSS

And he’s loved Kageyama as well, ever since Kageyama showed him his volleyball courts instead of telling him he’d never be good enough

They kiss!!!

And all the castle and its inhabitants and Kageyama go back to the way they were because the curse has been broken!!! 

Hinata is a little bit sad because maybe he liked Kageyama’s cute fuzzy ears a little bit 

but then Kageyama smiles a real, actual smile at him and he decides he can live w/o the ears

Bokuto gives his blessing upon the couple because he’s a sweetheart 

And from then onward, they all lived, and played volleyball together, happily ever after
